- 0:14Speaker 3: Hey, good morning. I was just telling Dylan that I
- 0:17Speaker 3: might have heard wrong on the segment. So I were
- 0:19Speaker 3: in coffee, but I think you guys were talking about
- 0:21Speaker 3: creepy guys.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Yeah right, and uh yeah, yeah, yeah it was. It
- 0:25Speaker 2: was things that creepy things guys say.
- 0:27Speaker 4: Are the guys that are healthy don't say that bad? Right, right, right, right?
- 0:32Speaker 3: Uh well, this was creepy. I don't know if it
- 0:33Speaker 3: was healthy. But I went on a date one time
- 0:36Speaker 3: with this guy and we're enjoying dinner and he was
- 0:39Speaker 3: like he just kind of like leaned over and stiffed me,
- 0:41Speaker 3: and I'm like, what the heck?
- 0:42Speaker 4: And he was like.
- 0:44Speaker 3: He's like, I really like your cologne, and I go, oh, thanks,
- 0:47Speaker 3: and he's like, what is it. I had a conversation
- 0:49Speaker 3: about DaVinci and whatever. At the end of the day,
- 0:52Speaker 3: he tells me that he wouldn't mind waking up next
- 0:55Speaker 3: to me sniffing my skin, and I'm like.
- 0:57Speaker 4: What, Like, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know if
- 1:02Speaker 4: that's that sounds alluring or not. That's not great.
- 1:05Speaker 2: It's your skin, did he did?
- 1:09Speaker 5: He?
- 1:12Speaker 3: Well, No, that was enough to deter I just I
- 1:16Speaker 3: just imagined after that comment. It's not only him like
- 1:19Speaker 3: waking up sniffing me, but maybe like flicking me or something.
- 1:22Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:22Speaker 4: It was just weird. I mean you can picture him
- 1:24Speaker 4: trying to say something that was unique and sexy and
- 1:27Speaker 4: it just did not land.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Yeah, that was not it at all.
- 1:33Speaker 4: He failed. I will thank you, thanks for having me. Thanks. Thanks.
- 1:38Speaker 1: There's a Texas' Peyton's list was definitely done by gen
- 1:40Speaker 1: Z female. Some of those phrases are legit if the
- 1:43Speaker 1: female is toxic or a narcissist.
- 1:45Speaker 4: I know one shot, John Jay, you don't say creepy
- 1:51Speaker 4: things to Colin.
- 1:52Speaker 1: You're just the voice for all of us men here,
- 1:54Speaker 1: aren't there and wish to say those.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Things l O l out loud. Here's a text. It's
- 2:04Speaker 2: three am.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I woke up to go to the bathroom with don't
- 2:08Speaker 1: put bananas in my blood playing in my head. Don't
- 2:10Speaker 1: put bananas in my butt, No, don't put bananas in
- 2:13Speaker 1: my butt.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I've told you.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Several times before. My butt is not a banana door.
- 2:20Speaker 4: That is the Lla Lengley, choosing texas of the song
- 2:23Speaker 4: Oh the show. Right now, he speaking of creepy.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I'm going to show you guys a picture because this
- 2:26Speaker 1: is all over the news right now.
- 2:28Speaker 4: This is happened. Look at this picture right here.
- 2:30Speaker 6: That's very creepy.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Look at this picture.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Oh don't like it. Okay, So this is happening in
- 2:34Speaker 1: Philadelphia right now. If you have seen this story, it's crazy.
- 2:37Speaker 1: The police are looking for this guy. He's wearing like
- 2:39Speaker 1: a weird baby doll mask in a black hoodie and
- 2:42Speaker 1: he's like scaring women and people and chasing them and
- 2:46Speaker 1: saying that he's going to kill him.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Well, that's not good, and they're looking for like who
- 2:49Speaker 4: does that?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Like It's like he hasn't starr as I know, he
- 2:51Speaker 1: hasn'tkill anybody yet, but it's like starting to get go
- 2:54Speaker 1: all over the news.
- 2:54Speaker 4: If I saw that anywhere, I would run. That's not
- 2:57Speaker 4: going to.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Close his picture. No weapon is physics, but he jumps
- 3:01Speaker 1: and scares people. One woman said she refused to become
- 3:03Speaker 1: a victim. That he approached her and she kicked him
- 3:06Speaker 1: in the chest and took off running five in the morning, let's.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Go Yeah, Wow, it's really scary.
- 3:14Speaker 6: Like, why why would you do that?
- 3:16Speaker 4: Unless he's doing do you think he's doing like some
- 3:17Speaker 4: kind of some kind of TikTok video? He's holding a
- 3:21Speaker 4: cell phone.
- 3:23Speaker 1: There you go up in front of her and he says,
- 3:25Speaker 1: are you ready to die as well?
- 3:27Speaker 4: Dad? Some idiot doing enough prank for well.
- 3:30Speaker 1: They're looking for him to arrest him, like he's that's
- 3:33Speaker 1: against the law.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Just because you're doing a TikTok doesn't mean you're not
- 3:36Speaker 6: going to get arrested.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Yeah, and he's probably going to post it and that's
- 3:39Speaker 4: how he's going to get caught. I don't think it's
- 3:40Speaker 4: a TikTok. I think it's bigger than that.
- 3:42Speaker 7: She's just like a psychopath.
- 3:44Speaker 6: Has he actually hurt someone or does he just scare them?
- 3:46Speaker 6: Just like he's crossed that line.
- 3:48Speaker 4: I did to read the whole article.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I just saw the picture of but I feel like,
- 3:51Speaker 1: you know what we should do, Peyton, I'll send to
- 3:52Speaker 1: you posted on our Instagram or at least or post
- 3:55Speaker 1: a picture, yeah, because it's really really creepy.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Anyway, I came, I had this debate. I saw this
- 4:01Speaker 2: on Reddit.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I was gonna ask you guys, because I didn't think
- 4:03Speaker 1: anything of it, and then I started really thinking about
- 4:05Speaker 1: it going interesting. So someone on Reddit said, would it
- 4:08Speaker 1: be appropriate to drink a non alcoholic beer at work?
- 4:14Speaker 4: Think about that for a second.
- 4:15Speaker 6: I feel like, I don't see why not soda?
- 4:17Speaker 4: Okay, like a soda.
- 4:18Speaker 1: But then they go on to say, so what if
- 4:20Speaker 1: you're having surgery when you see your doctor having a
- 4:23Speaker 1: non alcoholic beer before work? Non alcohol I know I'm
- 4:26Speaker 1: gonna be fine, I know, but it's still the perception
- 4:28Speaker 1: like you're just kind of like.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Whoa you would you would wonder why that's what they
- 4:32Speaker 4: chose for a pre surgery beverage. Would yeah, like what
- 4:35Speaker 4: kind of DNS are they fighting?
- 4:37Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 4:37Speaker 6: And then it's like maybe you do want them to
- 4:39Speaker 6: have that?
- 4:40Speaker 4: Maybe you do, yeah, if it helps you sharper.
- 4:43Speaker 2: More than two thousand people weighed in. The result was
- 4:45Speaker 2: split down the middle.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Fifty percent said there's no alcohol, so it's fine, and
- 4:48Speaker 1: fifty percent said not cool.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Did we have some non alcoholic beer here? Then?
- 4:53Speaker 7: Yeah, we open a couple of non alcoholic beers in here.
- 4:57Speaker 7: But I feel like what makes it not cool for
- 5:00Speaker 7: the patient is like maybe the scare that you would
- 5:03Speaker 7: get of, like oh my gosh, my doctor's drinking a
- 5:06Speaker 7: beer before he's about to and not knowing it. It
- 5:08Speaker 7: doesn't not knowing it right, Like yeah, fear or that
- 5:11Speaker 7: like nervousness. I think is probably why people are like
- 5:14Speaker 7: not well.
- 5:14Speaker 4: I would say whatever your pre surgery ritual that is
- 5:17Speaker 4: successful is, I would be okay with okay if you
- 5:20Speaker 4: have a good surgery record.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Imagine if you were a bus driver, a school bus driver.
- 5:25Speaker 1: What about a paramedic, a pilot, air traffic controller, a judge,
- 5:29Speaker 1: a substance abuse counselor heavy machine operator or Dake Derek
- 5:33Speaker 1: daycare worker?
- 5:34Speaker 2: Would that be okay? So that's what I'm saying. It's
- 5:37Speaker 2: a non alcoholic beer.
- 5:38Speaker 4: So people are split fifty fifty down the middle. Yeah,
- 5:40Speaker 4: take care worker, like they're watching your kids, and like
- 5:42Speaker 4: I must have an far to watch your children, like
- 5:45Speaker 4: your Stanley or something.
- 5:47Speaker 7: Don't keep it in the bottle.
- 5:48Speaker 6: I guess we should put an asterisk on that and say,
- 5:51Speaker 6: I guess it depends what your job is.
- 5:53Speaker 2: That's a good point. Oh look there's a texto here,
- 5:57Speaker 2: John J.
- 5:57Speaker 1: There's a new Banana in your Butt version called don't
- 5:59Speaker 1: put gushers in your butt. Don't put gushers in your butt? No,
- 6:03Speaker 1: can you find don't put cushers in your butt? Plase
- 6:07Speaker 1: a job? You got a job of that?
- 6:09Speaker 7: Man?
- 6:09Speaker 2: I need to find that song. Don't put gushers in
- 6:11Speaker 2: your butt? What'd you do it?
- 6:11Speaker 8: Work?
- 6:12Speaker 4: Today? Son?
- 6:12Speaker 2: Well to get as song as Cassandra? Good morning? What's up?
- 6:17Speaker 9: Hi?
- 6:18Speaker 5: So yesterday I were talking about how music is nostallgic
- 6:21Speaker 5: for you and life changing, and so I decided to
- 6:24Speaker 5: send a text to you guys because when I was
- 6:27Speaker 5: in middle school, I was told that I sound like
- 6:30Speaker 5: a scratch record, and I had a history of singing,
- 6:33Speaker 5: and people made fun of me, and I was adding
- 6:35Speaker 5: news school. So I decided to sing Bohemian Rhapsody by
- 6:39Speaker 5: the Braids. It was part of that movie High School High.
- 6:42Speaker 5: I don't know if you guys has ever heard it,
- 6:45Speaker 5: but it won first place and they sent me up
- 6:47Speaker 5: for high school and then no one made fun of
- 6:49Speaker 5: me again. So yeah, it's a free version nineteen nineties.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Oh okay, what version? What version? Who?
- 7:00Speaker 5: It's called the Breeze. Yeah, if you haven't seen the movie,
- 7:03Speaker 5: you probably wouldn't know this rendition. But it's pretty cool.
- 7:05Speaker 5: It's more R and B hip hop.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Oh well, okay, I know the my Chemical romance version
- 7:10Speaker 4: that they did for like a suicide Squad. That was
- 7:13Speaker 4: really good. I can't believe there's a better version of
- 7:15Speaker 4: the queen version. Well, I mean that's me.
- 7:17Speaker 5: No, I'm not saying that. I would never speak such blasphemy.
- 7:21Speaker 1: But were you like, oh, Scott a moosh, Scott a moosh,
- 7:25Speaker 1: were you doing that part?
- 7:26Speaker 8: No?
- 7:26Speaker 9: I didn't do that.
- 7:27Speaker 5: I was more like an awkward kid, just kind of
- 7:29Speaker 5: like bopping along singing.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Well, let's hear you do some of it?
- 7:34Speaker 4: Do you have some beats for some But.
- 7:39Speaker 5: They're putting me on the spot, Can I like warm
- 7:41Speaker 5: up first?
- 7:42Speaker 4: I have come on, I don't know the word for this.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Can this okay? You ready? Yeah?
- 7:56Speaker 5: Mama just killed put a gun against stay hey, pull
- 8:04Speaker 5: my take on the day, Mama, my life that's.
- 8:11Speaker 10: Just be gone, no gone and thrown it on.
- 8:20Speaker 5: I'm not work, guys, I can't.
- 8:22Speaker 2: That was awesome.
- 8:24Speaker 4: I would have made you sing mixtapes in high school
- 8:26Speaker 4: if you went to high school with me. It's a
- 8:28Speaker 4: crush right there.
- 8:29Speaker 5: I was next door and my voice is shaking. I
- 8:32Speaker 5: was not expecting this call.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Thank you, you were fantastic. Where exactly do you work
- 8:37Speaker 4: because that's a that's awesome. What a great place you
- 8:39Speaker 4: work at.
- 8:40Speaker 5: I work at a rehab hospital and I'm a nurse.
- 8:44Speaker 1: So you're very talented, Cassandra, and thank you for listening
- 8:46Speaker 1: and singing that on our show.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Thank you, guys. I am embarrassed, but thank you so much.
- 8:52Speaker 11: I appreciate it.
- 8:52Speaker 4: If you ever do another talent show, I suggest you
- 8:55Speaker 4: put in this song.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Gush's our fruity, but don't put him up a booty,
- 9:01Speaker 1: don't put in my butt.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Don't put gus in my butt. I told you once
- 9:06Speaker 4: several times before.
- 9:08Speaker 2: My butt is not a gush of the door.
- 9:10Speaker 4: All right, thanks Cassandra.
- 9:12Speaker 5: I will keep that in mind. Thank you. You guys
- 9:14Speaker 5: have a good day too.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Someone texted there was a different version of bananas in
- 9:17Speaker 1: your butt. Oh we need to contest it for a
- 9:19Speaker 1: minute to win at eight seven seven nine three seven
- 9:22Speaker 1: one oh four seven.
- 9:24Speaker 4: Michelle, Good morning, Good morning, guys.
- 9:27Speaker 11: What's going good?
- 9:28Speaker 2: What's up?
- 9:30Speaker 11: I have a story of a song that changed my life. Okay,
- 9:35Speaker 11: so for me, it was I would say it back
- 9:38Speaker 11: in twenty twenty when I got there. When else I
- 9:41Speaker 11: just got it wasn't twenty twenty. It was a year
- 9:46Speaker 11: after I I had just gotten married with my husband
- 9:49Speaker 11: and we found out we were pregnant, and unfortunately I
- 9:54Speaker 11: lost that baby at around six weeks. But it was
- 9:57Speaker 11: really sad. And then I got pregnant again a few
- 10:00Speaker 11: months a few weeks later, and I was I wasn't excited.
- 10:04Speaker 11: You know, most women know that feeling, you know, because
- 10:06Speaker 11: you don't want anything to happen. And then I was
- 10:09Speaker 11: at a friend's party and they started playing this song
- 10:13Speaker 11: you make Me Feel like Dancing.
- 10:14Speaker 4: I don't know if you know it Leo Sayer and
- 10:18Speaker 4: I'm sorry, it's Leo Sayer. I think, yes, yes, that's it.
- 10:22Speaker 11: Yeah, And when I heard that song, I just got
- 10:26Speaker 11: up and I started dancing. It was just so beautiful
- 10:29Speaker 11: and I was like, oh my god, what is this feeling.
- 10:31Speaker 11: I'm so happy, I'm excited.
- 10:33Speaker 4: That's the one, right, Yeah, Hi, Michelle's a great song.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Thank you for calling in, Michelle.
- 10:44Speaker 11: Yeah, thank you guys.
- 10:46Speaker 7: Yea.
- 10:50Speaker 4: By the way, the.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Non alcoholic debate, all these texts are coming in saying technically,
- 10:54Speaker 1: non alcoholic beer does have a small amount of alcohol
- 10:57Speaker 1: in it. We noticed that my sister in law was
- 10:59Speaker 1: drinking it, my pregnant sister in law, someone else's There.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Is alcohol and non alcoholic beer.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I believe there's new.
- 11:06Speaker 6: Ones non alcoholic then advertising, that's why that's not good.
- 11:12Speaker 2: The Bohemian Rhapsody Girls sings so good.
- 11:15Speaker 4: I agree. I agree. The alcohol content in non alcoholic
- 11:21Speaker 4: beer comes from the brewing process because they still use
- 11:26Speaker 4: the hops and the malts and everything.
- 11:27Speaker 1: But okay, so you still wouldn't then you wouldn't want
- 11:31Speaker 1: your doctor to drink that before it operates on you.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean probably not, but you know, just a taste.
- 11:39Speaker 4: We've come down on a decision. Probably not.
- 11:43Speaker 6: But why is there alcohol non alcoholic beer?
- 11:47Speaker 2: Nobody? After we played Mint to win It?
- 11:51Speaker 1: I have the official list of the worst drivers in
- 11:54Speaker 1: the world what kind of car they drive, especially here
- 11:56Speaker 1: in the United States. And I also got something that's
- 11:59Speaker 1: baffling to me about a librarian MESA don't want to
- 12:02Speaker 1: get into first though. Bath, Good morning, Bath, Good morning, Bath.
- 12:09Speaker 1: You're going to be our minute to winning contesta. What
- 12:11Speaker 1: are you doing? Where are you?
- 12:13Speaker 9: I'm getting ready to drop my son.
- 12:15Speaker 6: Off at school?
- 12:16Speaker 4: Oh?
- 12:17Speaker 2: Okay, how old is he?
- 12:20Speaker 8: He is?
- 12:20Speaker 11: Nine?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Is he gonna sit in the car and help you.
- 12:24Speaker 11: Yes, And as you.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Can hear, he has his seatbelt off and we're moving.
- 12:27Speaker 4: So distracting, distracting his.
- 12:31Speaker 10: Name exactly, he's making it worse.
- 12:34Speaker 2: What's your son's name?
- 12:36Speaker 11: His name is Noah.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Noah. Okay, we have a Noah here. All right, let's
- 12:40Speaker 4: do it.
- 12:40Speaker 9: Good luck, Joantine Rich have one thousand dollars cash for
- 12:43Speaker 9: you from Poria Ford right now.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Minute to win it.
- 12:47Speaker 4: All right, sixty seconds on the clock. Let's go. What
- 12:49Speaker 4: fast food chain it's famous for. It's in Curdo in Chaloupa, Chalpa.
- 12:58Speaker 4: What take a guess?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Del Taco.
- 13:09Speaker 4: We've been We've been with them in the first couple
- 13:12Speaker 4: of days in a row.
- 13:13Speaker 9: Now, oh oh, I hardly have a go to Taco bell.
- 13:19Speaker 2: All right, Bet, don't worry. You don't go away empty handed.
- 13:22Speaker 1: We're gonna set you up with a gift card to
- 13:24Speaker 1: over Easy restaurants. Eat at Overresa dot com is the website,
- 13:27Speaker 1: and maybe they can custom make you a chiloopa, an
- 13:30Speaker 1: over Easy chilupa. You got it, Beth, good luck, No,
- 13:33Speaker 1: it's school today. Thanks for listening to you, guys.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Thanks. That's three days in a row. The person got ben.
- 13:40Speaker 4: I did not think these were like super fast fastballs.
- 13:43Speaker 4: But oh well, okay, so listen to the story. This
- 13:46Speaker 4: is so strange to me. This is Mesa.
- 13:49Speaker 1: A couple allegedly stole hundreds of books from the Mesa
- 13:52Speaker 1: Library and resold them. A couple's facing serious charges after
- 13:59Speaker 1: authority say they stole hundreds of books. Library officials say
- 14:02Speaker 1: the mason they contact the Mesa police made nineteenth The
- 14:05Speaker 1: bookstore contacted the library. If the woman brought in nineteen books,
- 14:08Speaker 1: all which had the Mesa Public Library labeled on them,
- 14:11Speaker 1: the books that were refused to buy the books and
- 14:13Speaker 1: the woman left the store without them. The library books.
- 14:16Speaker 1: The library took the books and scanned them find it.
- 14:18Speaker 1: They were checked out to this guy, Ian Bartlett. He
- 14:21Speaker 1: had two library accounts. One was suspended because he owed
- 14:24Speaker 1: fifteen hundred dollars in books.
- 14:25Speaker 4: Dang, he's probably trying to sell the books to pay
- 14:28Speaker 4: for his overdue library.
- 14:30Speaker 1: This guy, the couple, they have more than six five
- 14:33Speaker 1: hundred dollars owed, so they would go to library check
- 14:36Speaker 1: out books and then go try to sell them.
- 14:37Speaker 6: Geez, But then you just owe the library money. So
- 14:40Speaker 6: I just feel like that's really not the most smart scam.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not a good caper, that's for sure.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Both were arrested and are facing charges of trafficking and
- 14:48Speaker 1: stolen property.
- 14:50Speaker 4: And I'm sure that's that's going to be a felony
- 14:52Speaker 4: right over six thousand dollars. They're no Thomas cron. They
- 14:55Speaker 4: were trying to resell the books to half priced books.
- 14:58Speaker 4: That's the bookstore.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Okay, So I wonder if the bookstore eventually bought but
- 15:02Speaker 1: it's stamped in.
- 15:02Speaker 4: I think I yeah, they caught it at the at
- 15:05Speaker 4: the bookstore and they're like, yeah, these aren't yours. The
- 15:07Speaker 4: hell's wrong with these people?
- 15:09Speaker 6: They weren't thinking.
- 15:12Speaker 2: There is also caffeine in decaf coffee this Texas.
- 15:15Speaker 4: What cam'py.
- 15:17Speaker 6: It's fooled our whole lives.
- 15:21Speaker 7: You need to disclose these things.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Talk about scams totally. They should say some caffeine removed coffee,
- 15:32Speaker 4: that caffeine light. Yeah.
- 15:36Speaker 1: This week is moving day or moving week for a
- 15:39Speaker 1: lot of schools. I know yesterday was all over the news.
- 15:42Speaker 1: University of Arizona. A couple of days ago it was ASU.
- 15:44Speaker 1: I know people who open to nau GCU all kinds
- 15:47Speaker 1: of stuff. So we thought it'd be kind of fun
- 15:49Speaker 1: to get into. Like, if anybody, do you have any
- 15:52Speaker 1: moving day stories, horror stories or positive stories? Call us
- 15:57Speaker 1: at eight seven seven, nine three seven one of four seven?
- 16:00Speaker 2: Mindy you have one?
- 16:01Speaker 4: What happened to you? What school would happen? Cool?
- 16:05Speaker 5: Wait?
- 16:05Speaker 10: I thought we were talking about my moving experience.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Yeah I'm moving, Yeah what happened?
- 16:09Speaker 11: Oh yeah?
- 16:10Speaker 10: No, So this was totally crazy. So this, I mean,
- 16:13Speaker 10: I'm thirty two. Now, this was a hot while ago,
- 16:16Speaker 10: but this was my first apartment, so, like you know,
- 16:19Speaker 10: being younger, like super stoked for everything, right, So like
- 16:22Speaker 10: I said the lease, I get everything ready to go,
- 16:25Speaker 10: and then my Dad's like, we gotta get a U
- 16:27Speaker 10: haul And I was a great idea. So, like I
- 16:30Speaker 10: never pictured somebody moving in the middle of like the
- 16:32Speaker 10: nine at seven pm. So I'm like, let's do it
- 16:35Speaker 10: for eight am. We'll get done, I'll get settled into
- 16:37Speaker 10: my apartment. So I rent the U hall literally for
- 16:41Speaker 10: eight am. We go pick it up and we go
- 16:44Speaker 10: back to my parents' houses. It was my first time
- 16:46Speaker 10: moving out. I lit all my stuff, we got furniture.
- 16:49Speaker 10: I'm excited, which I've all been over to see aparm
- 16:51Speaker 10: of complex and I'm like, oh, I'm here to get
- 16:54Speaker 10: my keys, and this lady just looks at me and
- 16:55Speaker 10: she's like keys And I'm like, okay, I said the
- 16:58Speaker 10: least you guys a few days ago, and she was like, yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 10: but your keys aren't ready until seven pm.
- 17:05Speaker 4: So what do you do with all your stuff hanging
- 17:07Speaker 4: out all day?
- 17:08Speaker 7: Truck?
- 17:09Speaker 4: Like?
- 17:10Speaker 10: So essentially what ended up happening is I was really
- 17:14Speaker 10: trying to negotiate with the apartment, but the apartment was
- 17:16Speaker 10: just like, no, we can't, and again like some type
- 17:19Speaker 10: of whatever they had at that time, I don't even know,
- 17:22Speaker 10: but so essentially my dad then God for my dad,
- 17:25Speaker 10: he essentially called the U haul, explained the situation they
- 17:29Speaker 10: comped the first day for us. We kind of just
- 17:31Speaker 10: left the U Haul and they would just essentially paid
- 17:33Speaker 10: for the next day and we ended up moving. It
- 17:36Speaker 10: was literally like an all night event, Like it was
- 17:38Speaker 10: like seven pm to like one am, which is really
- 17:40Speaker 10: weird to me because, like, you know, normal people are
- 17:43Speaker 10: sleeping at like one am. But you know, so I
- 17:47Speaker 10: learned a very life lesson. Now every time we move,
- 17:50Speaker 10: we get confirmation on West time we can get the keys.
- 17:53Speaker 10: But I will tell you from the time many times
- 17:55Speaker 10: we have moved, never had in the middle of the nine.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Again, Well, thanks Mindy, thanks for listening. Yeah, thank you
- 18:06Speaker 1: very much. Alexandra, you have information on the library caper.
- 18:12Speaker 8: Yeah, so, I was just telling your partner there that
- 18:17Speaker 8: the follow up to that is that those individuals are
- 18:20Speaker 8: actually homeless, and so when they were interviewed, the reason
- 18:25Speaker 8: that they were stealing the books and reselling them not
- 18:27Speaker 8: that it's right, but it's because they were homeless and
- 18:30Speaker 8: they were using the money to take care of their
- 18:32Speaker 8: basic needs. And I think the news and social media
- 18:36Speaker 8: like really picked up the story about the stealing of books,
- 18:40Speaker 8: but they didn't really describe the why, and with how
- 18:43Speaker 8: hot it is outside and how miserable our summers are,
- 18:48Speaker 8: again not justifying their actions, but I just wanted to
- 18:51Speaker 8: share that because sometimes people are crazy, and then sometimes
- 18:54Speaker 8: people are just getting creative to meet their needs.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but sometimes almost every crime is like, well I
- 19:00Speaker 1: had to do that because I had to feed so
- 19:02Speaker 1: and so I had to do that because I need
- 19:03Speaker 1: to pay rent. Like there's always a reason they're doing it.
- 19:06Speaker 1: In fact, I believe the movie Lemez was about a
- 19:08Speaker 1: guy going to jail because he sold a piece of
- 19:09Speaker 1: bread to feed his family.
- 19:11Speaker 8: Like, there's reasons, right, And I do think that it's
- 19:17Speaker 8: as a society and as a system, you know, we
- 19:20Speaker 8: did better to support people when they're in these situations
- 19:24Speaker 8: or to prevent them. You know, we wouldn't have these
- 19:27Speaker 8: crazy stories happening, or at least not as often.
- 19:31Speaker 6: It is interesting to know the context.
- 19:34Speaker 8: Yeah, it's it's hot outside. Don't forget to drink water. Guys.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Thanks Alexandra, have a great day, you too, fight Katie,
- 19:43Speaker 1: you have a.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Disaster comedy work.
- 19:48Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 19:49Speaker 9: So I this was about ten years ago, but I
- 19:55Speaker 9: had moved in first week, got everything ready, and the
- 20:00Speaker 9: very first night that I was there, it was like
- 20:04Speaker 9: a room where you have two different rooms and then
- 20:07Speaker 9: you have like a living space that you share. And
- 20:11Speaker 9: me and my roommate were in our room and we
- 20:13Speaker 9: started smelling weed from the other room, and so it
- 20:21Speaker 9: was so bad to the point that it was just
- 20:25Speaker 9: filling up the entire space and then like lingering into
- 20:29Speaker 9: the other rooms in the surrounding hall.
- 20:35Speaker 10: So then the.
- 20:39Speaker 9: What the ra I can't I can't remember what they
- 20:41Speaker 9: call it. The they came in and they knocked at
- 20:46Speaker 9: our door and they were like, hey, we're getting complaints
- 20:49Speaker 9: from other rooms that there's this smell coming around. So
- 20:55Speaker 9: then the rooms that we share, the other two girls
- 21:01Speaker 9: in there had actually flushed down what they had so
- 21:06Speaker 9: that when they came to do the inspection in the
- 21:09Speaker 9: room they couldn't find anything. But then about an hour later,
- 21:13Speaker 9: the toilet flooded and it flooded the entire bathroom. Yeah,
- 21:22Speaker 9: it got so bad that it flooded the room, like
- 21:26Speaker 9: the room directly below us because we were on the
- 21:28Speaker 9: second floor. And so then we had to say the
- 21:32Speaker 9: entire next three nights in a completely different room.
- 21:36Speaker 6: My gosh, what a nightmare.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, what a shame.
- 21:43Speaker 7: Right to throw it out the window so you could
- 21:45Speaker 7: go get it later.
- 21:46Speaker 4: We could have given it to a friend.
- 21:52Speaker 9: And uh yeah, definitely a not a good experience for
- 21:57Speaker 9: my first day of college and have to live with
- 22:00Speaker 9: those roommates for the rest of the year.
- 22:02Speaker 4: What school was it? A s U?
- 22:07Speaker 1: By the way, do you see that no Arizona schools
- 22:09Speaker 1: in the top ten party schools this year?
- 22:13Speaker 7: Shocked because Rush Week this week for a SU sororities
- 22:17Speaker 7: looked off the charts. Cada from Love Island was there.
- 22:20Speaker 7: I think at like Delta Zeta. I don't know, but
- 22:22Speaker 7: she was there and it looked like it was popping.
- 22:24Speaker 2: She was like the number one party school is Tulane
- 22:27Speaker 2: to Lane.
- 22:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I feel like like where like there's big football
- 22:33Speaker 7: like camaraderie and big football fans is where.
- 22:36Speaker 4: There's usually in Arizona school.
- 22:39Speaker 7: I know a su I mean party.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Shame on, doctor Crowe the party only.
- 22:47Speaker 7: Last year that Wilfare was DJing at u of A.
- 22:51Speaker 2: You know what's funny too is speaking of the sororities.
- 22:54Speaker 1: You know, you click on what like my wife was
- 22:57Speaker 1: a kappa at u of A And now they're doing
- 23:00Speaker 1: these like really cool dances, TikTok fances.
- 23:02Speaker 4: They are blown up.
- 23:03Speaker 1: So now my feed is full of all these sororities
- 23:07Speaker 1: and a lot of the Ashue ones and they look
- 23:09Speaker 1: like they're I mean, they must have a choreographer, the
- 23:13Speaker 1: some and they're all weren't the same outfits and all
- 23:15Speaker 1: these sorotyers are doing these amazing dances.
- 23:17Speaker 4: It's fantastic.
- 23:18Speaker 7: Like Rushreek on social media is so fun to just watch.
- 23:23Speaker 7: It's just like you could see in the Sisterhood and
- 23:25Speaker 7: the girls.
- 23:26Speaker 4: I just love it.
- 23:26Speaker 6: A lot of the East Coast houses are so huge,
- 23:29Speaker 6: and the way they decorate them on big day with
- 23:31Speaker 6: all the beliefs and themes. It's so fun.
- 23:33Speaker 7: The Lucky charmhouse that was going viral. I was like,
- 23:36Speaker 7: how cool is that you have Lucky Charms sponsoring your
- 23:39Speaker 7: big day?
- 23:40Speaker 4: It is pretty all for real, Like they had literally.
- 23:42Speaker 7: Sponsors literally there. The whole house was covered in like
- 23:45Speaker 7: Lucky Charms balloons. They had like the hydro dug Lucky Charms.
- 23:48Speaker 7: They had charm bracelets you can make like Lucky Charm
- 23:51Speaker 7: sponsored this.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Were gonna put that stuff on. She's doing a ton
- 23:55Speaker 4: of them.
- 23:55Speaker 6: I think it's so cool.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Yeah,
