Kiwi Downhill Star Claims Silver | Auckland News
Lachlan Stevens-McNab just made history—snagging silver at the UCI MTB World Championship, becoming only the second Kiwi ever to medal in elite men’s downhill. Just behind Canada’s Jackson Goldstone, he battled through injuries and past mistakes to deliver a flawless ride on a brutal course. His teammates also shone: Luke Wayman smashed his PB with 11th, Oli Clark nailed 20th, and Tuhoto-Ariki Pene followed in 23rd. With cross-country finals tomorrow, this medal is a major milestone—and Stevens-McNab’s already eyeing those rainbow stripes next time. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli…
