- 0:04Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Reality TV Cringe. I'm one of
- 0:08Speaker 1: your hosts, Delia, and I'm here with my real tight
- 0:11Speaker 1: homegirl and my daughter in law, Beatrice, and we're here
- 0:14Speaker 1: for a little raccoon quick bite to have a little
- 0:18Speaker 1: discussion about Special Forces Team America, the world world's toughest Mormons. Because,
- 0:29Speaker 1: as you know, if you are watching or listening to this,
- 0:31Speaker 1: our Cody Brown, the patriarch of the Brown family, is
- 0:36Speaker 1: taking part in this new reality television show in which
- 0:39Speaker 1: he has to go through all of these very exhausted physical, emotional,
- 0:44Speaker 1: mental courses like he's a sure, he's a Special Forces soldier,
- 0:50Speaker 1: and it's hilarious. It's boring and hilarious. So we're here
- 0:55Speaker 1: to just recap the first episode. Before we get into it,
- 0:58Speaker 1: we just have to warn you we're dumb, we're stupid,
- 1:02Speaker 1: and we don't care. So if you're stuff, little go,
- 1:04Speaker 1: we might want to find yourself another dumpster. But if
- 1:08Speaker 1: you're ready to just kind of forensically break down called
- 1:12Speaker 1: he's baldness, Oh.
- 1:13Speaker 2: My god, he's so fucking bald.
- 1:16Speaker 1: If you're ready to just have like a little chat
- 1:18Speaker 1: about it, very inappropriate, well, then welcome to this Dumpster.
- 1:24Speaker 2: And if you like what we do over here, please
- 1:25Speaker 2: be sure to follow us on the Instagram at reality
- 1:28Speaker 2: tv Crunch and join us on Patreon Patreon dot com.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Soasu reality TV Cringe. We have so much fun over
- 1:33Speaker 2: there in the VIP dumpster, so we would really love
- 1:36Speaker 2: it if you could join us.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Beatrice does like to work from time to time, and
- 1:39Speaker 1: she got a big old booty, so if you want
- 1:41Speaker 1: to see it, you gotta be a patron.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Now, if you are on YouTube, please don't forget to
- 1:45Speaker 1: like and comment and share and subscribe. All of these
- 1:47Speaker 1: things are so important to us and we really really
- 1:50Speaker 1: need you to do it please, so thank you in advances. So,
- 1:56Speaker 1: before we get into our recap of Special Forces Team
- 1:59Speaker 1: and Erica Mormon season four, episode one, I do have
- 2:04Speaker 1: to ask you did you have any takeaways?
- 2:07Speaker 2: Girl? I was so boring?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Were you watching this?
- 2:11Speaker 2: I don't understand, And look, we warrant you at the
- 2:14Speaker 2: beginning if this offends you, I don't care. But I
- 2:17Speaker 2: don't understand how anybody can watch this show like unironically
- 2:22Speaker 2: and actually enjoy it. Yeah, because it's so boring and
- 2:25Speaker 2: it's just like these ex Special Forces slash actors that
- 2:31Speaker 2: are pretending like they were in the Special Forces on
- 2:34Speaker 2: the show, just yelling at these like Dalist celebrities out
- 2:38Speaker 2: of shape, out of shape mixed with like actual athletes
- 2:43Speaker 2: and football players and basketball players and stuff that are
- 2:46Speaker 2: most likely going to win the show. But I'm like,
- 2:50Speaker 2: what do you even win accolades? Like? I just thought
- 2:52Speaker 2: this show was so boring. But I did enjoy watching
- 2:57Speaker 2: Britney Carr write and Cody with his hair flapping in
- 3:01Speaker 2: the wind his schooling. That was great.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Well. I enjoyed also to Resea Jude and her daughter
- 3:08Speaker 1: she Judice, and you know, maybe we can talk about
- 3:10Speaker 1: that a little bit. But my main takeaway is that
- 3:14Speaker 1: I was really going into this expecting Cody to be
- 3:20Speaker 1: eliminated in the first episode. Yeah yeah, which is like
- 3:22Speaker 1: the primary reason we agreed to do this, because we
- 3:26Speaker 1: did not expect him to go far, Like how could heah?
- 3:30Speaker 1: But then he shows up and I'm just going to
- 3:32Speaker 1: give it to Cody Brown. He's in exceptional shape for
- 3:36Speaker 1: all bad for a fifty seven year old dude. He
- 3:41Speaker 1: looks yoked. I mean, he's got muscles, and we saw
- 3:46Speaker 1: pictures and videos this year of him in a gym
- 3:49Speaker 1: with a personal trainer. We were kind of wondering why,
- 3:52Speaker 1: but now we know why. Like he actually trained for this,
- 3:54Speaker 1: Unlike Britney cart.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Right, Oh my god, girl.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Unlike Britney cart Right, Cody Brown actually trained for it
- 4:01Speaker 1: and he did great with the helicopter, which we'll get to. Like,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I feel like he's gonna do well. I feel like
- 4:07Speaker 1: we could be here all season. What did you get us?
- 4:10Speaker 1: And not as you get us? I didn't you agree
- 4:13Speaker 1: to it too?
- 4:15Speaker 2: I swear if this man makes it more than two episodes.
- 4:19Speaker 1: He's gonna make it more than a two episodes. He's
- 4:22Speaker 1: gonna be fighting some young guy in the next step thing,
- 4:26Speaker 1: so he can either self eliminate or the four fake
- 4:30Speaker 1: Special Forces guys can choose to eliminate. So like, I
- 4:35Speaker 1: think that might be possible because he's so obnoxious and
- 4:40Speaker 1: we know and well he's my age.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I think he's the oldest one.
- 4:44Speaker 1: He's definitely the old but he came in prepared physically.
- 4:48Speaker 1: We got to give that to thy Brown. But I
- 4:52Speaker 1: do think like, if he is going to be eliminated,
- 4:54Speaker 1: it is because he's not a team player, which Jia
- 4:57Speaker 1: Judice and I think Brianna Chicken, for I both have
- 5:00Speaker 1: alluded to like Cody not playing well with others and
- 5:04Speaker 1: being generally obnoxious, and so maybe that could be a
- 5:08Speaker 1: reason he gets eliminated early. Maybe, but I just don't
- 5:11Speaker 1: think so. I feel like we're planted, we're seated.
- 5:14Speaker 2: We're here, We're gonna be here for a bit. I
- 5:17Speaker 2: hope not.
- 5:17Speaker 1: But I should have a cocktail. You should have it.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I need a cocktail.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Get your husband to make you.
- 5:22Speaker 1: As playing a game, doing something anyway. Okay, So without
- 5:26Speaker 1: further ado, let's get into Special Forces Mormon Team America
- 5:32Speaker 1: season four, episode one, entitled.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I don't Know. I don't really know. I actually didn't
- 5:36Speaker 2: really see the title. Episode one. Yeah, and we kind
- 5:40Speaker 2: of start off with like an introduction, I guess of
- 5:44Speaker 2: the show. There's not really much, Like I was so poor.
- 5:47Speaker 2: I only wrote down Cody's parts because I don't really
- 5:50Speaker 2: care about anybody else in the show. Really.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I care about Brittany car and again Gia and Teresa,
- 5:56Speaker 1: and also Eva was there.
- 5:59Speaker 2: She's oh yeah, but she was kind of barely like
- 6:01Speaker 2: kind of but like.
- 6:02Speaker 1: We've got some real housewives that are there, and I'm
- 6:04Speaker 1: interested in that.
- 6:05Speaker 2: They're not gonna last very long though.
- 6:07Speaker 1: You don't think so. I don't know. My impression of
- 6:11Speaker 1: for example, Teresa Judace is that like she does a
- 6:14Speaker 1: lot of yoga plana. I mean, and if you check
- 6:16Speaker 1: out her body, I think she's fifty three, Like she's
- 6:18Speaker 1: looking really strong, really good as well. I mean, she
- 6:21Speaker 1: had some difficulty, like being afraid with the helicopter, but
- 6:24Speaker 1: I would be shitting myself. Girl. There'd be rivers of
- 6:27Speaker 1: diarrhea flowing out of that helicopter into the mouth of
- 6:30Speaker 1: the person I was repelling down into. I'd be shitting everywhere.
- 6:33Speaker 1: So she'd do it better than me. So I'm excited
- 6:36Speaker 1: about Teresa a little bit.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Oh my god. Yeah, I kind of felt bad for
- 6:39Speaker 2: her that she got assigned to cleaning all of the
- 6:42Speaker 2: toilets and these barracks or whatever that they're in.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Like why, I don't know why she had to clean
- 6:49Speaker 1: all the toilets.
- 6:50Speaker 2: But I'm sorry. That was really funny about the helicopter.
- 6:54Speaker 2: It's true, like Brittany cart Wright, Oh my, would you
- 6:59Speaker 2: be crying in.
- 7:00Speaker 1: The Yeah, I would definitely need some Xanax or something.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I would need somebody to try and dart me. I
- 7:09Speaker 1: would be having so much difficulty. But I wouldn't sign
- 7:12Speaker 1: up for a show called Special Forces where there's three
- 7:17Speaker 1: previous seasons that I could have watched in doing my research.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I wouldn't sign up to something where it is an
- 7:23Speaker 1: inevitability yeah, that I'm going to be doing something with
- 7:25Speaker 1: heights if I'm afraid of heights. Furthermore, Britney cart Right,
- 7:28Speaker 1: I would have done something. I would have done a
- 7:30Speaker 1: little bit of something to make sure I was training.
- 7:33Speaker 1: I'm up in the gym, I'm getting strong, I've got
- 7:36Speaker 1: some endurance. But no, she's like a Nissa on the Challenge.
- 7:41Speaker 1: To any of you watch the Challenge, God bless a Nissa.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I like her, but every year shows up like thirty
- 7:45Speaker 1: pounds overweight, and I'm like a Nissa. The reason you
- 7:47Speaker 1: never win a final it is because you don't have
- 7:50Speaker 1: any endurance, and it's because you're out of shape. Yeah,
- 7:54Speaker 1: I don't get it.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I don't get I mean, Brittany cart Right on this
- 7:58Speaker 2: episode was kind of pathetic, so pathetic, just freaking out
- 8:02Speaker 2: in a helicopter, which I get. I get if you're
- 8:04Speaker 2: afraid of heights, like I understand, But then when they
- 8:08Speaker 2: have to go lug eight hundred pounds of bullshit, up
- 8:11Speaker 2: a hill, she's like struggling so hard, wanting to quit,
- 8:15Speaker 2: fred wanting to quit, like on the verge of tears.
- 8:19Speaker 2: And then afterwards, because her team ends up losing because
- 8:22Speaker 2: Britney's on there, they have to go on a run
- 8:25Speaker 2: as punishment.
- 8:26Speaker 1: She gives up on the run.
- 8:28Speaker 2: That was really funny because they start doing the run
- 8:31Speaker 2: and she's like, I.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Can't do There's absolutely no way I can finish it.
- 8:34Speaker 1: But like we're introduced to Brittany on this show with
- 8:38Speaker 1: her telling the story of her despicable, deplorable ex husband,
- 8:42Speaker 1: Jack's Taylor telling her she's not gonna get bar presumably
- 8:46Speaker 1: because she's out of shape and she ain't shit, and
- 8:48Speaker 1: she's said, I'm gonna show him, and she doesn't even
- 8:52Speaker 1: make it, like through the first exercise.
- 8:54Speaker 2: She can't even make it through halfway through the episode,
- 8:57Speaker 2: and I don't get it. It's embarrassing.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Do you not know where you were going?
- 9:01Speaker 2: I meantand why would you even sign up for this
- 9:05Speaker 2: in the first place, Miss Brittany with the big old
- 9:07Speaker 2: honkers like ain't no, No, you're not gonna run with
- 9:10Speaker 2: those No, you wouldn't want to.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Sorry, I'm not trying to say some women can, yes,
- 9:14Speaker 1: but but they would also potionally yeah, they'd be training, yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and they'd have some strength, Yeah, they would have some
- 9:22Speaker 1: respiratory capacity. They'd be able to do shit like fundamental,
- 9:27Speaker 1: normal exercise shit, which Brittany cannot.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Do at all. But it did make me laugh when
- 9:32Speaker 2: she left, because I'm just like, girl, Wow. Yeah, she
- 9:36Speaker 2: didn't even make it to the barracks with everybody.
- 9:38Speaker 1: No, she just left.
- 9:39Speaker 2: No, I can't do it. I'm out of shape. I
- 9:42Speaker 2: didn't train for this. Yeah, yeah, think what, like, were
- 9:46Speaker 2: you that desperate for money that you signed up for this,
- 9:49Speaker 2: like a politician physical competition show?
- 9:51Speaker 1: Probably?
- 9:52Speaker 2: First of all, if I was gonna go on a
- 9:53Speaker 2: reality show, I would never do something where I would
- 9:56Speaker 2: have to physically work out on TV. I don't want
- 9:59Speaker 2: people seeing.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'd be puking again, shitting. It would be so terrible
- 10:03Speaker 1: for my image.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I would never ever do a show like this. But
- 10:08Speaker 2: it is kind of funny.
- 10:09Speaker 1: She could have done like marriage boot Cam. Yeah, maybe
- 10:12Speaker 1: she could have held out and done Dancing with the Stars,
- 10:14Speaker 1: which she would have been immediately eliminated for her because
- 10:16Speaker 1: she's out of shade. But like she could have done
- 10:18Speaker 1: something like Traders maybe, but nope, she chose special Forces
- 10:22Speaker 1: and she was the first one out. God bless, God bless.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Now what did you think when they were shoving people's
- 10:29Speaker 1: faces in the mud?
- 10:31Speaker 2: Like that was pretty great?
- 10:32Speaker 1: Teresa Judaice. She's got all her makeup on. I don't
- 10:35Speaker 1: like her hair's all highlighted, and she's all put together,
- 10:39Speaker 1: face all beaten stuff, like the kids say, and then
- 10:41Speaker 1: they just shove her face right in the mud. I
- 10:43Speaker 1: was just like, Oh, Theresa, did you that's where you
- 10:45Speaker 1: were going?
- 10:46Speaker 3: I know.
- 10:46Speaker 2: I'm like, why are.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You on this show? Why are you wearing makeup? Yeah?
- 10:49Speaker 1: Why are we doing that?
- 10:50Speaker 2: I don't understand. But yeah, like some of these little
- 10:55Speaker 2: tests and stuff were kind of silly to me, Like
- 10:57Speaker 2: I understood, like propelling out of the Hellcocter, I guess
- 11:01Speaker 2: is like super scary or whatever, lugging shit up a hill.
- 11:05Speaker 1: But they clearly had to train for that. Yeah, you're
- 11:08Speaker 1: not telling somebody to just grab a rope and figure
- 11:11Speaker 1: out how to repel to the ground. Yeah, Like clearly
- 11:14Speaker 1: there was classes. They all did them, so they were prepared.
- 11:17Speaker 1: They knew that it was coming up, and they were
- 11:19Speaker 1: supposed to just pretend that it was the first time
- 11:21Speaker 1: that they realized they had to do that.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Yeah, No, And I just I also had a problem
- 11:25Speaker 2: with the premise of the show too, because I'm like,
- 11:28Speaker 2: this whole point, the whole point of it is like
- 11:31Speaker 2: you get to experience war, and you get to experience
- 11:34Speaker 2: what we experience when we're deployed out Afghanistan or whatever,
- 11:38Speaker 2: and you're gonna be like a real special Forces And
- 11:41Speaker 2: I'm like, I wonder what are actual special Forces? People
- 11:45Speaker 2: think of this show, like the Green Berets and everything,
- 11:49Speaker 2: Like they watch this and they're like, really, why are
- 11:51Speaker 2: we making a mockery of what we're doing? Because it
- 11:54Speaker 2: is real work and it's real physical exertion. And we
- 11:58Speaker 2: have all these like Dalers celebrities who some of them
- 12:01Speaker 2: have trained for and some of them have not, Like
- 12:03Speaker 2: complaining about lugging stuff up a hill, yeah, repelling out
- 12:06Speaker 2: of a helicopter. I'm like, Oh, this is so embarrassing.
- 12:09Speaker 1: It's really embarrassing.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Now.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I do think that this is based on a show
- 12:13Speaker 1: that my husband and I watched, I want to say,
- 12:15Speaker 1: like seven to ten years ago on FX or something
- 12:19Speaker 1: called The Selection, with actual Navy Seal instructors and just
- 12:23Speaker 1: regular regular people who wanted to see if they could
- 12:26Speaker 1: pass the Navy Seal test that would make sense, and
- 12:29Speaker 1: that I thought was riveting. Yeah, and I thought it
- 12:31Speaker 1: was really good. In fact, I think one of the guys, Rudy,
- 12:34Speaker 1: he's got like that black Beard and the black coaft hair.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I think Rudy was in the selection, So I think
- 12:39Speaker 1: that's what they're drawing from. But like they're throwing in
- 12:42Speaker 1: all of these mid mediocre, out of shape like celebrities,
- 12:48Speaker 1: like even the quarterback Johnny Manzil. I know, like I
- 12:51Speaker 1: had to look him up online because I'm not into
- 12:53Speaker 1: football or anything like that, but apparently like he won
- 12:55Speaker 1: the Heisman Trophy in college, which is like the biggest
- 12:58Speaker 1: trophy I guess for that, I don't know, and then
- 13:01Speaker 1: he was signed on to like a professional NFL team,
- 13:05Speaker 1: but he was partying all the time and he was
- 13:07Speaker 1: blowing his opportunities, and I think they got rid of
- 13:09Speaker 1: him after two years or something. And I'm probably getting
- 13:11Speaker 1: that wrong. I don't care enough to do the research
- 13:13Speaker 1: for it, but like he totally shot the bed and
- 13:16Speaker 1: he fucked up all of his opportunities because he has
- 13:18Speaker 1: no discipline. And then you're showing up to special Forces.
- 13:22Speaker 1: So this is maybe the first time we're seeing you. Yeah,
- 13:24Speaker 1: since you spectacularly failed at football when you should have excelled,
- 13:28Speaker 1: but you were too stupid not to put down the bottle. Johnny. Yeah,
- 13:32Speaker 1: you show up, look at all Dowe and you're having
- 13:36Speaker 1: panic attacks. Yeah, so that our Cody Brown has to
- 13:39Speaker 1: tell you how to breathe. Oh my god, Like you
- 13:41Speaker 1: can't get your shit together, dude.
- 13:43Speaker 3: How a bear is? They go and with all of
- 13:47Speaker 3: the scenes of Cody comforting him, like when they were done,
- 13:52Speaker 3: lugging all of the shit up the hill because I
- 13:53Speaker 3: think Johnny's on Cody's team, which is Team Alpha, which
- 13:57Speaker 3: I also hate.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I also hate got Cody on Team Alpha because you
- 14:02Speaker 2: know he's jerking himself off to that and he's like
- 14:04Speaker 2: every night.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Absolutely Alpha on t ALFA. I'm the head of t ALFA. Yeah,
- 14:09Speaker 1: you know, the Alpha Alpha.
- 14:11Speaker 2: He should have been on Team Beta.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but no, he's on d Alpha.
- 14:16Speaker 2: But yeah, like Cody comforting him in the line and
- 14:19Speaker 2: then him getting yelled at by one of these fake
- 14:21Speaker 2: Special Forces hosts and sorry, sorry staff, why do they
- 14:25Speaker 2: call him staff? I know, It's like it just takes
- 14:28Speaker 2: the fun out of it for me. It would have
- 14:30Speaker 2: been cool if they were like actual Navy seals or
- 14:34Speaker 2: actual greenber I kind.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Of think maybe they are farmer special Forces title not staff.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I did love that they told Cody to shut the
- 14:44Speaker 1: fuck up. That was great because Cody said something and
- 14:47Speaker 1: he said shut up, and then he said something again
- 14:49Speaker 1: to Johnny Manziel, who's absolutely choking in the moment, and
- 14:53Speaker 1: he's like, shut the fuck up, and like, oh god, okay,
- 14:56Speaker 1: it's nice to see an actual real man. Yeah, say
- 14:59Speaker 1: that to Cody because yeah, he deserves it.
- 15:03Speaker 2: And that happened a couple of times, Like there was
- 15:04Speaker 2: another scene where Cody was like tying his shoe or
- 15:07Speaker 2: something after they were doing some obstacles, like in the
- 15:09Speaker 2: middle of the night, and he got yelled at again
- 15:13Speaker 2: and Cody wasn't listening to the guy and he's like,
- 15:15Speaker 2: get the fuck up, like I told you to stop
- 15:17Speaker 2: tying your shoe, and then Coddy's like ooh, and his
- 15:19Speaker 2: hair's flat.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I love it. The hair was spectacular, Like why why
- 15:25Speaker 1: are we wedded to the curls? Like the amount of
- 15:29Speaker 1: bald landscapes, so the coyote pass of your head of
- 15:33Speaker 1: it all? Yes, aren't you aware? And he's got like
- 15:36Speaker 1: little rubber bands or something where he's like a little band,
- 15:38Speaker 1: like it's all like put together, so special in everything,
- 15:41Speaker 1: and you're showing up yep to special form forces Mormon
- 15:45Speaker 1: style with your curls. It's crazy. I would have shaved that.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I would have just had baldness for aerodynamics and to
- 15:54Speaker 1: just stop being such a peacock. But he can't help himself.
- 15:57Speaker 1: He is a peacock well.
- 15:58Speaker 2: And like you'd think with all all of the money
- 16:00Speaker 2: that he stole from all of the other wives, like
- 16:02Speaker 2: why didn't you invest in hair plugs or something.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Yeah, go to Turkey, dude, really, just get a hair transplant.
- 16:08Speaker 2: If you're that wetted to your hair, you could have
- 16:11Speaker 2: at least spent the money where it counts with hair plugs.
- 16:15Speaker 2: But no, we're just like tied to the scullet and
- 16:18Speaker 2: the two little tendrils that are hanging on for dear
- 16:21Speaker 2: life up here before everything.
- 16:23Speaker 1: You can't tell me he doesn't know how universally ridiculed
- 16:27Speaker 1: he is for his stupid hairstyle.
- 16:29Speaker 2: You'd have to.
- 16:30Speaker 1: And then when we see the preview for next week
- 16:32Speaker 1: and he's boxing slash sparring with some young man, you
- 16:35Speaker 1: see the curls literally speaking out. It's just stupid. I'm like,
- 16:39Speaker 1: hit him harder as a cat, please.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I I can't wait for him to start getting beat up.
- 16:45Speaker 2: That would be great. I really want to see that.
- 16:48Speaker 2: We saw him a couple times this episode. There wasn't
- 16:50Speaker 2: like a ton of scenes with him, but there were
- 16:52Speaker 2: some talking heads where he was saying some stupid shit
- 16:55Speaker 2: about how men like respect more than love. And I'm
- 16:59Speaker 2: not trying to be said sister or anything, but women
- 17:03Speaker 2: like love and men likes respect. So I like respect.
- 17:07Speaker 1: That's all I care about in this show. So why
- 17:09Speaker 1: does somebody like Cody Brown need to constantly be projecting
- 17:13Speaker 1: masculinity and virility. It's only because he doesn't feel that
- 17:18Speaker 1: about himself on the inside. Because my husband is a strong, masculine,
- 17:23Speaker 1: virile person. He's not walking around all the time spouting
- 17:27Speaker 1: Andrew Tait fucking talking points and talking about being a
- 17:30Speaker 1: high value man and how strong he is and how
- 17:32Speaker 1: he commands respect like that's that's not him at all.
- 17:36Speaker 1: And most men who are strong and confident and selfishured
- 17:39Speaker 1: don't behave that way. So he's just showing himself to
- 17:42Speaker 1: be an insecure little elf. Yeah, exact health of the man.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Well, and when he was standing in line with the
- 17:49Speaker 2: rest of Team Alpha, I was noticing how short he was.
- 17:52Speaker 1: He's a fella, You're a tight hap dancing little Leprechaun's
- 17:57Speaker 1: at leper.
- 17:59Speaker 2: And then we have Code also saying that he like
- 18:03Speaker 2: to do hard things is what makes a good man
- 18:06Speaker 2: or something, And I'm like, well, what are you doing
- 18:08Speaker 2: that's hard.
- 18:09Speaker 1: You don't have a job, Cody, you do not work.
- 18:13Speaker 1: You're a bob. Yeah, you're living off the teet of TLC.
- 18:17Speaker 1: You're a reality TV stark Odi Yep, the lowest of
- 18:21Speaker 1: the loan. Furthermore, in terms of like the hierarchy of
- 18:26Speaker 1: reality TV stars, there's Jax Taylor and there's Cody Brown
- 18:30Speaker 1: their neck and Neck girl.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Yep, definitely. And he also says something like he wants
- 18:36Speaker 2: to be on the show because he wants to prove
- 18:39Speaker 2: to his kids that he can still do the impossible.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And I'm like, what kids, the ones you don't talk
- 18:44Speaker 1: to or are you doing about Robin's kids. It's Robin's kids.
- 18:47Speaker 1: He doesn't care about his other kids, no, and.
- 18:49Speaker 2: They don't care about him doing anything at all except
- 18:51Speaker 2: loving him. But he can't even do that.
- 18:53Speaker 1: No, he can't. He doesn't care about love. He cares
- 18:56Speaker 1: about respect.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Good point.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Good point.
- 19:00Speaker 2: And then that was pretty much it. After they dragged
- 19:03Speaker 2: eight hundred pounds of bullshit up the hill Team Alpha one,
- 19:06Speaker 2: so they got to drive back to the barracks, but
- 19:09Speaker 2: Team Bravo had to run. I think back to the barracks,
- 19:12Speaker 2: and that was where Brittany leaves because she can't run.
- 19:15Speaker 2: He can't do anything physical, which.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Just tickles you.
- 19:18Speaker 2: It's really funny to me. I just laughed so hard
- 19:21Speaker 2: because she looks so pathetic. It was like so distrudged,
- 19:24Speaker 2: like I can't do this. But Cody's in the car
- 19:29Speaker 2: with his favorite quarterback, Johnny Menzel.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Doesn't he say something like you know how much I
- 19:33Speaker 1: love quarterbacks?
- 19:34Speaker 2: He did.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I like got a little bit of a homo erotic
- 19:38Speaker 1: vibration from that.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I'm hard.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I think that's a gay statement.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Definitely, it's a.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Gay statement, gastment whatever, it's a gay statement.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Cody.
- 19:47Speaker 2: It is a little bit. I mean, with how much
- 19:49Speaker 2: he has to prove his masculinity, yeah, all the time.
- 19:52Speaker 2: I mean, it's giving gay vibes to me. And then
- 19:56Speaker 2: they head back to the barracks. Everybody's changing. This is
- 19:59Speaker 2: where we ca see Cody like getting undressed. We have
- 20:02Speaker 2: a scene where he's got a shirt off. I think
- 20:05Speaker 2: I sent you a picture of it with his back
- 20:07Speaker 2: and I was like, do you find this attracted because
- 20:10Speaker 2: you like a man's.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Back emphasis on the word man a man man.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Fairly, But I'm just like, we don't need to see this.
- 20:21Speaker 1: No, Cody, you're not hot.
- 20:22Speaker 2: No, I don't know who needs to tell you this,
- 20:24Speaker 2: but you're not hot, like at all. And then we
- 20:28Speaker 2: have like a little interstitial where you know, people are
- 20:31Speaker 2: talking to each other, and again, I don't care about
- 20:34Speaker 2: like half of the people on this show. We have
- 20:37Speaker 2: poor Teresa being assigned potty duty, which I felt really
- 20:42Speaker 2: bad that she had to do that. That sucks so bad.
- 20:45Speaker 2: And she tells everybody like, if you have to poop,
- 20:47Speaker 2: I'm not dealing with it. And then we have Cody.
- 20:50Speaker 1: She says, let me know and I will clean it.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Oh that's right, she did say that, let me know
- 20:54Speaker 2: and I'll clean it. Yeah, girl, No, I would I
- 20:57Speaker 2: would have left that.
- 20:58Speaker 1: And Jesse Smollett is like, I I will do whatever,
- 21:01Speaker 1: but I won't do that. Yeah, I'm not cleaning toilet's
- 21:03Speaker 1: absolutely not.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Well, then Cody yeah, shakes his hand.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Yeah, She's like, what's your last name? Smoll like, oh,
- 21:11Speaker 1: you're that.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Guy, and that's all I got, and everybody was quiet.
- 21:16Speaker 1: It was a little awkward. Why do you think it
- 21:19Speaker 1: was awkward? No comment political correct yes, oh god.
- 21:25Speaker 2: And then we have Cody still comforting his favorite quarterback, Johnny,
- 21:30Speaker 2: And that was pretty much it.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Like Johnny was pulled into the secret meeting with the
- 21:35Speaker 1: fake Special Forces guys who wanted to ask him what
- 21:39Speaker 1: his goddamn motherfucking problem was and why he was choking
- 21:42Speaker 1: because he's like a Heisman Trophy winning quarterback and it's
- 21:45Speaker 1: just like, get in my head, man, get in my head.
- 21:48Speaker 1: And I'm really embarrassed. But all my failures, I was
- 21:51Speaker 1: very anxious and I felt for him. I didn't I
- 21:54Speaker 1: and I want him to succeed. But then and the
- 21:57Speaker 1: next thing that where they woke him up in the
- 21:59Speaker 1: middle of the night and they had to do calisthenics.
- 22:01Speaker 1: He was choking. Again. I don't get it. Why are
- 22:04Speaker 1: you there, Johnny.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I didn't understand the whole getting up in the middle
- 22:08Speaker 2: of the night to do a bunch of workouts either,
- 22:10Speaker 2: Like they dunk themselves in water, and then they do
- 22:13Speaker 2: some obstacle course things, and then they do some jumping
- 22:16Speaker 2: jacks or whatever, and Cody gets real sweaty and wet,
- 22:19Speaker 2: and you see his hair that's just like little strings
- 22:23Speaker 2: hanging on. It's like doll hair. It's like if you
- 22:25Speaker 2: had like a voodoo doll and you were like pasting
- 22:27Speaker 2: some hair on top of the head. That's what it
- 22:29Speaker 2: looks like.
- 22:29Speaker 1: We're an American girl doll. I wonder, I wonder if
- 22:32Speaker 1: that's where his hair's going.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Maybe, Oh my god, picking out.
- 22:38Speaker 1: His hair for her dolls.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Oh my god, I could see that.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I think they're doing it to keep them on their
- 22:44Speaker 1: toes and so that they are never comfortable or they
- 22:47Speaker 1: never think that they can take it easy. Yeah, that's
- 22:49Speaker 1: what it is. Yeah, but I don't know.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I really hope Cody leaves in the next episode because
- 22:54Speaker 2: I don't know how much more I can watch.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Well, I've got this seven day free trial from Fox one,
- 22:58Speaker 1: and so like, I hope that he leaves in the
- 23:00Speaker 1: next episode so I don't have to like actually pay
- 23:02Speaker 1: for Fox one real. But I will, Yeah, I will,
- 23:05Speaker 1: because we said we would. It's a business, and this
- 23:07Speaker 1: is what it's gonna be It's not gonna be like
- 23:09Speaker 1: a recap, a point to point to point. We're just
- 23:11Speaker 1: gonna like talk shit and then leave and like.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Have some pictures and stuff. Yeah, a little bit of
- 23:16Speaker 2: him bamfalled.
