Felix the Elephant Joins Seneca Park Zoo | Rochester News
Felix, a 20-year-old African elephant originally from Zimbabwe, has arrived at Seneca Park Zoo after a big move from the Maryland Zoo—where she’ll now join a new herd as part of a conservation-focused shift. With help from her former zoo team, Felix is settling in slowly, getting acquainted with her new elephant friends over the next few weeks. Visitors may soon catch a glimpse of this gentle giant as the zoo carefully ensures her transition is smooth and stress-free.
