- 0:23chickens. Hey everybody.
- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:31So I have a question for you. Are, you overcommitted right
- 0:34now? Are you feeling so distraught?
- 0:37Because you have just over committed yourself through this
- 0:41holiday season and you're just over it.
- 0:44You're just running around like a chicken with your head cut
- 0:46off. And I don't mean to say that in
- 0:48the middle of the girls, it is so apparent to me that every
- 0:56client that I speak to this past week has said, I just feel like
- 1:01there's so much to do. There's so much to do if I hear
- 1:04that phrase one more time. I'm like, oh my gosh there's so
- 1:08much to do. Well, I want to be really clear.
- 1:10We all always have to do with. I think that's just human.
- 1:16You know, we always create these to-do lists because we in have
- 1:20an inherent hardwired need to grow.
- 1:23We just constantly need to grow and be doing things to feel like
- 1:28we are growing now, whether they're moving.
- 1:30Us forward or not is another question, whether activities to
- 1:33move us forward or not? That's another question.
- 1:35However, the whole growth process is part that it's
- 1:40hardwired into us. We can't do anything about that,
- 1:42it's just there. So, one of the interesting
- 1:46things that I can tell you, when I hear someone say over and over
- 1:51how they are overwhelmed, they've got so much to do there,
- 1:55overbook their overcommitted and they keep looping back to, I
- 1:58don't even know how I'm going to get this done.
- 2:00I don't even know. I'm going to do this.
- 2:02I want to remind you guys. This is a choice regardless of
- 2:06what you think. This is a choice.
- 2:08You can say the words. No, you can actually put those
- 2:11two letters together and oh, and say them, you can say, I just I
- 2:16can't do it. I have too much going on.
- 2:19I feel like I just want to relax this season, you know, there may
- 2:23be a huge part of us that have forgotten that we're coming off
- 2:28of two years. Actually it's been three years
- 2:32of this whole pandemic craziness.
- 2:35All of 20, all of 21 all 2222, was like the rampant running
- 2:42game where everybody's playing catch up so to speak and we
- 2:47still haven't gotten back to the rhythms of just being.
- 2:51And when we were in isolation when we were in all that time,
- 2:56it did a lot of rewiring because it was such an extended period
- 3:00of time. I'm and we can't forget that.
- 3:02We can't forget that that happened.
- 3:04And then when we got Unleashed, it was like, we felt like we had
- 3:08to play catch-up, but we didn't necessarily have those skills as
- 3:12strong as they might have been before.
- 3:14And to top it all off. We feel like, we don't what
- 3:18happens if we get shut down again, I've heard that so many
- 3:20times. What happens if we could shut
- 3:21down again? Well, we can project all we
- 3:24want. We can let that super Visionary
- 3:27girl on our bus that future pacing girl, or boy, A or person
- 3:32on our bus run ramp it. Yes, we can do that.
- 3:36However, it's not healthy to let him do it when, especially when
- 3:40they're sitting next to anxiety. So we want to stop and we want
- 3:43to say no. We want to say how do I want my
- 3:46holiday to go? What do I want my holiday to
- 3:49look at? How do I want to feel over my
- 3:52holiday break? And when we do that, when we
- 3:54stop and we pause and we reverse-engineer it, we are so
- 3:59much better off because It gives us the chance to live into that
- 4:03as opposed to just trying to Scurry around and I can't stress
- 4:08enough. How much I do this for myself?
- 4:10And I think I used to feel like everything had to be perfect.
- 4:16I used to be in that mindset of perfection was necessary.
- 4:20I had to have it be just a perfect holiday and then I
- 4:23realized that the Perfection is in the progress.
- 4:27So to speak. Not to mention that for me.
- 4:31Me the most important aspect of all of this is the fact that we
- 4:34have the gift of the time to be with our families.
- 4:39If we choose 2 or the gift of time to be by ourselves, we have
- 4:42to look to what serves us. We have to look at what is going
- 4:45to make us feel good over this holiday season.
- 4:49The girls got a new chicken coop, delivered yesterday and I
- 4:52am revamping it and not that they really needed it.
- 4:55Okay, okay, I know some of you have seen pictures up on
- 4:58Facebook of it and don't they? Need it.
- 5:01They have a very nice Coupe. However, we are going to start
- 5:05filming from it so you guys can see the girls and I just wanted
- 5:09a different shape of the coop. I wanted more space for them and
- 5:12of course, I want to hatch out more babies, so it's a little
- 5:16bit of a setup session. When you start with chickens,
- 5:19they kind of get into your chicken math happens.
- 5:21So they're getting a new Coupe. So I'm going to be working with
- 5:24it with Mark, my husband inside, we're going to be designing it
- 5:28building out what they need getting them all sit.
- 5:31Situated. And that's really what I want to
- 5:33do on my vacation. I'm not even joking.
- 5:35We are so excited about doing this and getting all our animals
- 5:39organized, and my husband's, God is rabbits, and we're going to
- 5:42be adding, hopefully we're going to be adding some goats.
- 5:46So we've got lots of plans and the weather is cool.
- 5:49And we are enjoying the cool weather out here.
- 5:52So we are actually going to do a lot of outside work right now,
- 5:56because we can't really do that in the heat of August and
- 5:59September because it's too damn hot.
- 6:01So, point being find the things that you enjoy.
- 6:05Don't let anybody take that away from you.
- 6:08If you enjoy doing outdoor work at this time of the year and
- 6:11that's relaxing to you. Like it is to us, do it.
- 6:14Don't say yes to everything. Say no and don't feel bad about
- 6:17it because it is about what makes you feel good.
- 6:20It is about what's going to help you feel good through the
- 6:24holiday season. It's your holiday to remember
- 6:27that. It's your holiday to it's not
- 6:29just everybody else's holiday or Or whatever holiday you
- 6:32celebrate. It's your holiday to not just
- 6:34them. So do it the way.
- 6:36It feels good to you. All right, my friends.
- 6:39I will see you tomorrow morning. I hope you have a blessed day.
- 6:42Bye. Or whatever holiday you
- 6:32celebrate. It's your holiday to not just
- 6:34them. So do it the way.
- 6:36It feels good to you. All right, my friends.
- 6:39I will see you tomorrow morning. I hope you have a blessed day.
- 6:42Bye.
