- 6:00Speaker 5: about that, all right, So let's talk about this week.
- 6:04Speaker 5: We're not gonna talk about the week before anymore because
- 6:06Speaker 5: I don't do predictions on it. I just tell everybody
- 6:09Speaker 5: what games are coming up this week and then where
- 6:11Speaker 5: everybody is ranked. So let's do that top twenty five only.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Here we go. It kicks off tomorrow, Friday, November seventh.
- 6:19Speaker 5: We've got Northwestern at five and three taking on number
- 6:24Speaker 5: nineteen USC at six and two. Saturday, we've got the

- 6:37Speaker 5: five Georgia at seven and one plays five and four Mississippi,
- 6:42Speaker 5: number seven BYU at a to no travels to number
- 6:46Speaker 5: eight Texas Tech to play them. They are eight and one.
- 6:50Speaker 5: Number one. The Ohio State at a to no travels
- 6:54Speaker 5: to Purdue who are two and seven. That should definitely
- 6:57Speaker 5: be a win. This is great. The Citadel at four
- 7:02Speaker 5: and five plays number six old miss number three Texas
- 7:07Speaker 5: A and m at a no plays number twenty two
- 7:10Speaker 5: Missouri six and two, Number nine Oregon at seven and
- 7:15Speaker 5: one plays number twenty Iowa at six and two. Let's
- 7:21Speaker 5: see Syracuse, who's unranked at three and six, will play
- 7:24Speaker 5: number eight the University of Miami, who's six and two.
- 7:29Speaker 5: Unranked Auburn at four and five travels to Vandy to
- 7:34Speaker 5: play the number sixteen seven and two Vanderbilt number twenty three.
- 7:38Speaker 5: Washington at six and two travels to Wisconsin to play
- 7:42Speaker 5: the Badgers who are two and six. Wake Forest at
- 7:46Speaker 5: five and three travels to number fourteens eight and one Virginia.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Let's see unranked California at five and four travels to
- 7:55Speaker 5: number fifteen Louisville who are seven and one, and then
- 8:01Speaker 5: LSU at five and three will play number four Alabama
- 8:06Speaker 5: who are seven and one roll Tide, and then Navy,
- 8:10Speaker 5: who is unranked at seven and one, will play number
- 8:13Speaker 5: ten Notre Dame. I didn't see Michigan in here. Why
- 8:17Speaker 5: are they not playing? Because I know they're ranked. Let's
- 8:19Speaker 5: look at the rankings really quick. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe
- 8:21Speaker 5: they dropped out of the rankings, but they did win
- 8:23Speaker 5: last week. So let's look at the rankings for the NCAA.
- 8:30Speaker 5: Let's see and see double A football rankings. All right,
- 8:36Speaker 5: so here we go, if it'll let me, here we go.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Number twenty five at seven and two is Cincinnati. Number
- 8:51Speaker 5: twenty four at six and two is Washington. Number twenty
- 8:56Speaker 5: three at six and three is Tennessee. Number twenty two
- 8:59Speaker 5: at eight and one one is Memphis. Number twenty one
- 9:02Speaker 5: at seven and two is my Michigan Wolverines. Number twenty
- 9:06Speaker 5: is USC at six and two. Also at six and
- 9:09Speaker 5: two is number nineteen Missouri, and number eighteen the University
- 9:13Speaker 5: of Miami, Florida. Number seventeen is Utah at seven and two.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Number sixteen is Georgia Tech at eight one. Vandy is
- 9:22Speaker 5: number fifteen at seven and two. Louisville's number fourteen at
- 9:27Speaker 5: seven and one. Texas Longhorns are number thirteen and there're
- 9:31Speaker 5: seven and two. Number twelve is Virginia at eight and one.
- 9:35Speaker 5: Number eleven is Oklahoma at seven and two. Here's the
- 9:38Speaker 5: top ten. Number ten is Notre Dame at six and two.
- 9:42Speaker 5: Number nine is Texas Tech at eight and one. Number
- 9:45Speaker 5: eight is BYU at eight. No. Number seven is Old
- 9:48Speaker 5: miss at eight and one. Number six is Oregon. There's
- 9:53Speaker 5: seven and one also seven and one is number five Georgia,
- 9:56Speaker 5: Number four Alabama, roll Tide. Number three is Texas A
- 10:01Speaker 5: and m at eight to. Number two is Indiana at
- 10:04Speaker 5: nine to. Oh and then of course the number one
- 10:06Speaker 5: team in the nation is still Ohio State at eight
- 10:10Speaker 5: and oh. Now let's go into they already have because
- 10:14Speaker 5: we're already in week ten or we eleven actually of
- 10:17Speaker 5: the of the NCAA season, which is crazy that it's
- 10:21Speaker 5: went this quick. I mean, if you think about it,
- 10:25Speaker 5: we're already like almost halfway. We're halfway through the NFL season,
- 10:31Speaker 5: already two it's crazy to think about it feels like
- 10:33Speaker 5: it just started. But I think it's because they only
- 10:36Speaker 5: play one game a week. So when you play only
- 10:39Speaker 5: one game a week and then you get to that
- 10:40Speaker 5: next game, yeah, sometimes I think it goes. It feels
- 10:43Speaker 5: like it goes quicker than it really does. All right,
- 10:46Speaker 5: So let's look at right now the updated college Football
- 10:50Speaker 5: Playoff projected twelve team bracket. It's okay, So the college
- 10:56Speaker 5: football rankings we've got for the first round. Number twelve
- 11:03Speaker 5: Memphis against number five Georgia, Number nine Oregon versus number
- 11:07Speaker 5: eight Texas Tech, number eleven, Virginia take it on number
- 11:11Speaker 5: six Old Miss, number ten Notre Dame versus number seven BYU,
- 11:16Speaker 5: and the four teams who get a bye week, we'll
- 11:19Speaker 5: go right into the second round quarterfinals will be number
- 11:22Speaker 5: four Alabama, number one Ohio State, number three, Texas, A
- 11:27Speaker 5: and M and number two Indiana would all get bye week.
- 11:30Speaker 5: So that's if it ended today. Okay, that's obviously that
- 11:35Speaker 5: didn't happen, so they still got a few weeks left
- 11:38Speaker 5: before we really see how the college football bracket's going
- 11:41Speaker 5: to take place. But it could change from here to there,
- 11:45Speaker 5: but we'll see. It looks like Texas is on the
- 11:52Speaker 5: outside looking in and so is Oklahoma right now, so
- 11:56Speaker 5: we'll see how that all ends up when it comes
- 11:59Speaker 5: down to it. All right, let's go into some NFL news.
- 12:05Speaker 5: So here's the crazy thing. NFC North quarterback since nineteen
- 12:09Speaker 5: ninety two, minimum of ten games played. You wouldn't believe
- 12:15Speaker 5: how crazy this is. Okay, let's go here. First, Green Bay,
- 12:19Speaker 5: rod Farvre, Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love. Those are the three
- 12:23Speaker 5: quarterbacks that they have had. Starting quarterbacks, not guys that
- 12:29Speaker 5: come in and play a game or two here or
- 12:32Speaker 5: there when someone gets hurt. These are the starters since
- 12:36Speaker 5: two thousand, since nineteen ninety two, which I was twelve
- 12:40Speaker 5: years old for the Lions, Pete, Kramer, Gagliano, where Craig Mitchell, Betch, McMahon, Harrington,
- 12:52Speaker 5: Kitna Orlavsky, Culpepper, Stan Stafford Hill, and Goff believe it
- 13:01Speaker 5: or not, damn it believe it or not? Okay, The
- 13:07Speaker 5: Bears since nineteen ninety two do not have the most
- 13:11Speaker 5: quarterbacks of the division that have started for them. Okay,
- 13:18Speaker 5: So Minnesota Vikings are Here's who they've had, Gannon, McMahon, Salisbury, Moon, Johnson, Cunningham,
- 13:29Speaker 5: George Culpepper, Jackson, Farrody, Farv, Ponder, Cassell, Bridgewater, Bradford, Keenum, Cousins,
- 13:40Speaker 5: and Darnold. Now people might ask why is JJ McCarthy
- 13:43Speaker 5: not on the list because it says minimum ten games played,
- 13:48Speaker 5: because he hasn't played ten games yet that he does
- 13:51Speaker 5: not count as that. Now he is back now, so
- 13:54Speaker 5: by the end of the season you can add him
- 13:56Speaker 5: to that list. If he makes it through the end
- 13:58Speaker 5: of the season, we'll see what happens. So here's the Bears, Harbaugh, Walsh, Kramer,
- 14:05Speaker 5: Craig Stenstorm, Matthews, McCown or McNown, Miller, Chandler, Orton, Grossman, Haney,
- 14:15Speaker 5: Cutler McCowan. So we had a McNown and the McCowen, Trubisky,
- 14:20Speaker 5: Fields and Caleb Williams. That the sad part about this
- 14:25Speaker 5: list is that the Packers have only had three. Every
- 14:31Speaker 5: other team has had a lot. The most is the
- 14:35Speaker 5: Minnesota Vikings. The second most would be the Bears are
- 14:37Speaker 5: The third most is the Lions, but even Lions had
- 14:40Speaker 5: a lot. You don't realize how many starting quarterbacks go
- 14:43Speaker 5: through some of these teams until you really look at
- 14:46Speaker 5: the long list. Well, like I said, Brett Favre Rogers
- 14:50Speaker 5: of Love are the three for that team. All right,
- 14:53Speaker 5: let's move on some sad news for the Dallas Cowboys.
- 14:58Speaker 5: They lost one of their own today and it wasn't
- 15:01Speaker 5: even an older player. Really really sad. Let me go
- 15:06Speaker 5: pull this up so I can read what they were saying.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Very sad news. The Dallas Cowboys lost their defensive end,
- 15:15Speaker 5: Marshawn Neeland. He dies at twenty four years old. Defensive
- 15:20Speaker 5: end for the Dallas Cowboys died sometime between late Wednesday
- 15:24Speaker 5: and the early morning of Thursday, November sixth, According to
- 15:26Speaker 5: the Frisco, Texas Police Department, his death is being investigated
- 15:30Speaker 5: as a suspected suicide. Neeland was twenty four. His agent
- 15:35Speaker 5: said Neilan died Wednesday night, while the Cowboys and their
- 15:38Speaker 5: announcement said he tragically passed Thursday morning. It is with
- 15:42Speaker 5: extreme sadness, said did the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshaw
- 15:45Speaker 5: Neeland tragically passed away this morning. The team said, Marshawn
- 15:49Speaker 5: was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. He
- 15:53Speaker 5: actually just returned I believe a black punt for a
- 15:57Speaker 5: touchdown a couple of weeks ago, which is crazy. Yeah.
- 16:02Speaker 5: Niland scored Dallas's first touchdown of its Monday Night football
- 16:05Speaker 5: lost to the Arizona Cardinals on November three by scooping
- 16:09Speaker 5: up a black pun in the end zone. The Michigan
- 16:12Speaker 5: native played collegiately at Western Michigan. Niland's cause of death,
- 16:17Speaker 5: though cause of death, was immediately revealed by Frisco Police,
- 16:21Speaker 5: said that at ten thirty nine local time, they began
- 16:23Speaker 5: assisting the Texas Department of Public Safety with locating a
- 16:27Speaker 5: vehicle that had a vaded troopers during a pursuit. The
- 16:30Speaker 5: police lost sight of the vehicle, but relocated eight minutes later,
- 16:33Speaker 5: having crashed on Dallas Parkway heading sald bound. Neeland was
- 16:38Speaker 5: later identified as the individual who fled the scene. Police
- 16:41Speaker 5: found Nieland dead at one thirty one am, and an
- 16:44Speaker 5: official cause of death will be determined by the Collin
- 16:46Speaker 5: County Medical Examiner's office. The NFL said it's been in
- 16:51Speaker 5: contact with the Cowboys and it's offering support to its
- 16:53Speaker 5: players and staff. We are deeply saddened by the tragic
- 16:56Speaker 5: news of the passing of Cowboys Marshawn Neelan, the league's
- 17:00Speaker 5: ended a statement. Our thoughts and prayers are with his girlfriend, Catalina, family, friends,
- 17:05Speaker 5: and his teammates. Really sad news. Twenty four years old,
- 17:11Speaker 5: very very young. Just said, I mean I like to know, like,
- 17:17Speaker 5: first of all, why was he fleeing the police? Number two?
- 17:20Speaker 5: Is is that why he did it? Or was he
- 17:22Speaker 5: just looking for them to find him right away? I mean,
- 17:26Speaker 5: maybe he did it on purpose so that when he
- 17:28Speaker 5: did commit suicide, that they could see him, you know,
- 17:31Speaker 5: pretty quick after. I don't know's it's gonna be a
- 17:34Speaker 5: crazy story. He did send a text. From what I read,
- 17:38Speaker 5: I don't know if this is true. I mean, this
- 17:40Speaker 5: is all hearsay right now until the facts come out.
- 17:43Speaker 5: But somebody did post that he did send a text
- 17:46Speaker 5: to his family and his girlfriend that he was going
- 17:49Speaker 5: to say his goodbyes, and then his girlfriend he said
- 17:53Speaker 5: he was going to end his life. So yeah, pretty
- 17:56Speaker 5: crazy news. Rest in peace to Marshawn Neeland. I know
- 18:00Speaker 5: obviously gonna do something I'm sure around the league for
- 18:02Speaker 5: him on this weekend, probably starting tonight. I'm sure they'll
- 18:06Speaker 5: do a moment of silence, and then of course Dallas
- 18:09Speaker 5: Cowboys will do something for him. Hopefully they can win
- 18:12Speaker 5: this weekend for him. I know Dallas isn't winning a
- 18:15Speaker 5: lot of games right now. I don't know they had
- 18:18Speaker 5: a bye week. Let me see, let's see who they're
- 18:22Speaker 5: supposed to play this weekend, Dallas Cowboy. Well we're gonna
- 18:24Speaker 5: look at that in a second. Anyway, they might be
- 18:31Speaker 5: on a bye week this week. I don't see. They
- 18:34Speaker 5: might have been out a bye week when this happened,
- 18:39Speaker 5: which I believe. Yeah, they're actually had a bye week
- 18:43Speaker 5: this week. They don't play again until Monday, November seventeenth
- 18:46Speaker 5: against the Raiders, So yeah, they're off this week this
- 18:49Speaker 5: happened during his bye week. He's probably out having a
- 18:51Speaker 5: fun party in but I don't know, you know, he
- 18:55Speaker 5: obviously committed suicide, so we'll see what it comes out
- 18:58Speaker 5: with that. But yeah, very very sad. News is. You know,
- 19:02Speaker 5: this is gonna sound crazy, but it's good that they're
- 19:05Speaker 5: out of bye week this week because the team doesn't
- 19:08Speaker 5: have to worry about playing Sunday with all the emotions going.
- 19:12Speaker 5: I mean, by that point they'll have time to grieve
- 19:16Speaker 5: and I'm sure they'll bury him or however, they're gonna
- 19:19Speaker 5: do it pretty quick, so the players will be able to,
- 19:23Speaker 5: you know, not have to worry about, you know, going
- 19:25Speaker 5: to the game and everything this weekend. So it's probably
- 19:27Speaker 5: better that they are on there by week. So uh yeah,
- 19:31Speaker 5: rust in peace too. To Nielan, it's very sad, but
- 19:36Speaker 5: you know, crazy crazy crazy. Let's go on and move
- 19:40Speaker 5: on to what I do here. So last week I
- 19:45Speaker 5: went ten and four, not bad. Was seventy one point
- 19:49Speaker 5: four to three percent. For the year, I am seventy
- 19:52Speaker 5: nine fifty five and one fifty eight point eight nine percent,
- 19:57Speaker 5: so not a horrible great but not the worst. Alright,
- 20:05Speaker 5: So last week it all kicked off on Thursday Night Football,
- 20:08Speaker 5: it was the Baltimore Ravens at the Miami Dolphins. I
- 20:11Speaker 5: picked the Ravens and they won. I picked the Chicago
- 20:15Speaker 5: Bears to win on Sunday and they beat the Bengals.
- 20:18Speaker 5: I chose the Detroit Lions to win and they lost
- 20:22Speaker 5: to Minnesota twenty seven to twenty four. Let's see. I
- 20:28Speaker 5: picked the Chargers to beat Tennessee and they did twenty
- 20:30Speaker 5: seven to twenty. I picked the New England Patriots to
- 20:34Speaker 5: win over the Falcons and they did twenty four to
- 20:36Speaker 5: twenty three. Crazy close game. I picked the forty nine
- 20:42Speaker 5: Ers to beat New York the Giants and they did
- 20:45Speaker 5: thirty four to twenty four. I picked the Indianapolis Colts
- 20:50Speaker 5: to win over Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh won twenty seven to twenty.
- 20:55Speaker 5: I picked Denver Broncos to win over Houston and they
- 20:58Speaker 5: did eighteen to fifteen. I picked the Packers to beat
- 21:02Speaker 5: the Carolina Panthers and the Packers lost sixteen to thirteen.
- 21:06Speaker 5: That's crazy. I picked Jacksonville to win their game over
- 21:11Speaker 5: the Raiders and they did thirty to twenty nine. I
- 21:14Speaker 5: picked the Rams to win over the Saints and they
- 21:17Speaker 5: did thirty four to ten. I picked the Buffalo Bills
- 21:22Speaker 5: to beat the Chiefs and they did twenty eight to twenty. One.
- 21:25Speaker 5: Sunday Night football, I picked Seantle to beat Washington and
- 21:28Speaker 5: they did thirty eight to fourteen. And then I picked
- 21:31Speaker 5: the Arizona Cardinal. I picked the Dallas Cowboys to beat
- 21:34Speaker 5: the Cardinals and they lost twenty seven to seventeen to Arizona.
- 21:39Speaker 5: So this week my picks are here we go. First,
- 21:41Speaker 5: starting tonight, we've got the Las Vegas Raiders going to Denver.
- 21:47Speaker 5: I picked the Denver Broncos to win that one. Sunday
- 21:51Speaker 5: morning on the NFL Network, We've got the Atlanta Falcons
- 21:58Speaker 5: and I think they're in Berlin, Germany, to face the
- 22:01Speaker 5: Indianapolis Colts, who are seven and two. I picked the
- 22:04Speaker 5: Indianapolis Colts to win that one. Twelve o'clock games, I've
- 22:09Speaker 5: got the Bears beating the Giants. New York Is coming
- 22:13Speaker 5: to Chicago. I got the Bears winning that one. I've
- 22:17Speaker 5: got the Buffalo Bills traveling to Miami. I got the
- 22:20Speaker 5: Bills winning. Baltimore Ravens going to Minnesota. I've got the
- 22:25Speaker 5: Ravens beating the Vikings. Cleveland Browns two and six traveling
- 22:33Speaker 5: to the Jets, who are one and seven. I gotta
- 22:37Speaker 5: take Cleveland in this one. I think the Jets are
- 22:40Speaker 5: gonna be in tank mode pretty quick. New England Patriots
- 22:45Speaker 5: at seven and two taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- 22:48Speaker 5: at six and two. I'm gonna take New England in
- 22:50Speaker 5: that one. New Orleans Saints traveling to Carolina to play
- 22:55Speaker 5: the Panthers. I'm gonna take the Panthers in this one.
- 22:58Speaker 5: If the Panthers can beat the Pack, I'm sure they
- 23:00Speaker 5: could beat the Saints, but this could be the upset
- 23:03Speaker 5: you want to bet on. Let's see Jacksonville in the
- 23:08Speaker 5: last twelve o'clock matchup, travels to Houston to play the Texans,
- 23:11Speaker 5: who are not going to have C. J. Stroud. So
- 23:14Speaker 5: I'm definitely taking the Jacksonville Jaguars. Three h five, We've
- 23:17Speaker 5: got the Arizona Cardinals traveling to Seattle to play the Seahawks.
- 23:21Speaker 5: I'm taking the Seahawks in that one. Three twenty five,
- 23:24Speaker 5: we got the La Rams traveling to San Francisco to
- 23:27Speaker 5: play the forty nine Ers. I got the Rams in
- 23:29Speaker 5: that the Detroit Lions traveling, you know, Washington to play
- 23:33Speaker 5: the Commanders. I'll take the Lions in that one seven
- 23:38Speaker 5: to twenty game on NBC, Pittsburgh Steelers at five and
- 23:42Speaker 5: three at the six and three Los Angeles Chargers. I'm
- 23:46Speaker 5: taking the Chargers in that one. And then Monday Night Football,
- 23:49Speaker 5: the Philadelphia Eagles on the road playing the Green Bay Packers.
- 23:53Speaker 5: I'm taking the Philadelphia Eagles to crush the Packers in
- 23:56Speaker 5: that game. So we'll see what happens and we'll go
- 24:01Speaker 5: from there. But yeah, we'll see what my picks are
- 24:03Speaker 5: for this one and we will move on. Now I
- 24:08Speaker 5: talk about our next topic. All right, let's talk about
- 24:11Speaker 5: WWE Saturday Night's main event results from this week, and
- 24:20Speaker 5: let's see who won all their matches. So Dominic Mysterio
- 24:28Speaker 5: retained his Intercontinental Championship. Let me go here, hold on,
- 24:37Speaker 5: the Bleacher Report really rate these matches on a Saturday
- 24:40Speaker 5: It's main event. Let's see, all right, So WWE Championship
- 24:49Speaker 5: match Cody Rhods versus Drew McIntyre. Cody Rhoades defeated him.
- 24:54Speaker 5: They graded a C. They said about moments and takeaways.
- 25:03Speaker 5: How is it possible for a match featuring the biggest
- 25:06Speaker 5: star in the company at a superstar so red hot
- 25:09Speaker 5: a year ago at this time feel as ice cold
- 25:11Speaker 5: as this does. The match loss all momentum after the
- 25:14Speaker 5: rev bump and moved at a completely different pace. This
- 25:18Speaker 5: was a disappointing match. Ww Women's Championship match Tiffany Stratton
- 25:23Speaker 5: versus Jade Cargill. Jade Cargill gets her first ever WWE
- 25:29Speaker 5: Championship by winning that title. I heard Tiffy's got an injury.
- 25:33Speaker 5: She might be out a little while. That's what I heard.
- 25:34Speaker 5: I don't know how true it is. We'll find out.
- 25:37Speaker 5: This was less about delivering a show stopping match and
- 25:39Speaker 5: more about further establishing Cargill as a force as a
- 25:42Speaker 5: heel and paying off her title chase. This match is
- 25:46Speaker 5: fine for what it was, but Stranton and Cargill have
- 25:49Speaker 5: rustled a few times now and their lack of chemistry
- 25:51Speaker 5: has been a pairent through many of their contests. They
- 25:54Speaker 5: gave that a seed Intercontinental Championship match Penta versus Russif
- 25:59Speaker 5: versus Champion Dominic. Mysterio Dominic walked out with the championship.
- 26:05Speaker 5: They gave that one to see my Sterios the start
- 26:07Speaker 5: of the future, and you can tell when his music
- 26:09Speaker 5: plays that he steps to the curtain the reaction that
- 26:12Speaker 5: he receives from fans. Let's see John Cena. Before the
- 26:17Speaker 5: main event, John Cena announced via pre tape video that
- 26:21Speaker 5: his final opponent will be determined in a tournament that
- 26:24Speaker 5: will kick off in his hometown of Boston a week
- 26:26Speaker 5: from Monday night, so this Monday coming up. He said.
- 26:29Speaker 5: The superstars involved will include some he has competed against,
- 26:35Speaker 5: others he has not an others seeing opportunity of a
- 26:38Speaker 5: lifetime to improve their stature in the company. No brackets
- 26:42Speaker 5: were officially announced, but Solo Socoa, Seamus Dominic, Mysterio Guther,
- 26:47Speaker 5: and Carmelo Hayes were among those pictured, with Sina revealing
- 26:52Speaker 5: that the stars from Raw, SmackDown, NXT and possibly outside
- 26:56Speaker 5: the company will participate. This was the first instance of
- 26:59Speaker 5: anything on this show that felt like a big deal.
- 27:01Speaker 5: And then, of course, the main event was CM Punk
- 27:04Speaker 5: versus Jay Husso for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship, and
- 27:09Speaker 5: this match went to CM Punk, who defeated Whuso to
- 27:12Speaker 5: win the title a greade of a beat. The most
- 27:15Speaker 5: important match of the night was the best, even if
- 27:17Speaker 5: it was way to finish her heavy. The crowd was
- 27:19Speaker 5: red hot for both guys and would likely have been
- 27:22Speaker 5: happy with either win, but Punk needed this. He has
- 27:25Speaker 5: been in too many high profile title matches that he lost.
- 27:28Speaker 5: Another defeat here would have tested fans ability to care
- 27:31Speaker 5: about him. In his position, the outcome aligns well with
- 27:35Speaker 5: USO's desperation to retain goal or regain gold and prove
- 27:38Speaker 5: himself to be the Bloodlines only re emphasis on how
- 27:42Speaker 5: the Punk win was. So there you go. There was
- 27:48Speaker 5: your Saturday night's main event. Now we are on to
- 27:53Speaker 5: Survivor Series war Games. No official anything has been done
- 28:02Speaker 5: yet for that, so let's see if they have any predictions.
- 28:09Speaker 5: I did hear rumors that brock Lesner is gonna be
- 28:12Speaker 5: joining Paul Hayman Monday night. That's not necessarily confirmed yet,
- 28:20Speaker 5: So don't sit there and be like, oh, you know,
- 28:25Speaker 5: like Robbie G said it, But honestly, we'll see what happens. Oh,
- 28:33Speaker 5: let's see. So let's do trible a treveal the Survivor
- 28:38Speaker 5: Series Wargames twenty twenty five poster featuring bron Breaker war Games,
- 28:43Speaker 5: a cage match with two teams headline Survivor Series again.
- 28:46Speaker 5: This year, John Cena's final Premium live event will feature
- 28:50Speaker 5: a tournament for his last opponent. Let's see. So as
- 28:58Speaker 5: of this airtime of my show, there's nothing major, but
- 29:02Speaker 5: we do know that the Vision is going to be
- 29:05Speaker 5: part of this. Obviously, Seth Rollins will not be He
- 29:08Speaker 5: did have surgery for real, so he will not be
- 29:11Speaker 5: a part of this in any way, shape or form.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Let's see. For those of you who do not know
- 29:19Speaker 5: what is wargames, let me explain it. Wargames is a
- 29:22Speaker 5: special steel cage match involving two teams wrestling and two
- 29:26Speaker 5: side by side rings. One competitor from each team starts
- 29:29Speaker 5: to match, then at regular intervals, one new wrestler per
- 29:32Speaker 5: team is released from a pod on the entrance ramp
- 29:36Speaker 5: to join the match. The match officially begins once all
- 29:38Speaker 5: the wrestlers have joined the ring, so they can just
- 29:42Speaker 5: beat the hell out of each other until all eight
- 29:46Speaker 5: to ten people however many are in the match, are
- 29:48Speaker 5: all in the ring at one time, and then the
- 29:50Speaker 5: bell rings and Wargames begins. Up until then, you're just
- 29:53Speaker 5: trying to soften your opponents up. It says, how do
- 29:56Speaker 5: you win the Wargames match? The team wins by pinfaller submission.
- 29:59Speaker 5: There are no elimination, so it is one guy gets pinned,
- 30:04Speaker 5: you're done. If you get disqualified, or if you submit,
- 30:07Speaker 5: you're done. There's no obviously, no disqualifications or countouts in
- 30:10Speaker 5: the match. No official card has been announced yet. In
- 30:16Speaker 5: addition to the war Games and championship matches, this year
- 30:19Speaker 5: will include John Cena's final Premium live event. WW will
- 30:23Speaker 5: begin the Last Time is Now tournament to determine Sena's
- 30:26Speaker 5: final opponent on November tenth, raw in Boston. Survivor Series
- 30:32Speaker 5: may include a tournament match. It's gonna be Saturday, November
- 30:37Speaker 5: twenty ninth on ESPN in the US and Netflix internationally
- 30:41Speaker 5: at Petco Park in San Diego, California. It's going to
- 30:45Speaker 5: start at six thirty Eastern time. That's it right now.
- 30:50Speaker 5: So there really is nothing. I really feel like we're
- 30:54Speaker 5: gonna see bron Breaker and Bronson, Reid brock Lesner, I
- 31:00Speaker 5: think Jay Husso they're really like aiming him for a
- 31:03Speaker 5: turn as a bad guy. So I think he's gonna turn,
- 31:07Speaker 5: so he'll join I think with Paul Hayman and them
- 31:09Speaker 5: for that match, and then it's either gonna be like
- 31:11Speaker 5: a Drew McIntyre or it could be an Austin theory.
- 31:15Speaker 5: There's a there's a few different theories going around about that.
- 31:20Speaker 5: And then I think, on the other side, you're definitely
- 31:22Speaker 5: gonna see Cumpunk, You're going to see Roman Reigns. You know,
- 31:28Speaker 5: they're they're definitely gonna get involved somehow with it. And
- 31:31Speaker 5: then I think maybe Jimmy Husso to go against Jay Russo.
- 31:39Speaker 5: So yeah, I really I believe that's what we're gonna
- 31:41Speaker 5: get out of this. So we'll see what happens. All right,
- 31:46Speaker 5: so let's move on. NASCAR has a new champion. That's right,
- 31:49Speaker 5: Kyle Larson wins the Big One. So now that's it
- 31:53Speaker 5: for NASCAR. NASCAR is officially over. It was a good race.
- 31:57Speaker 5: I did end up watching the last two hours because
- 31:59Speaker 5: I didn't have to work Sunday, so I watched the
- 32:01Speaker 5: last two hours after the Bears game was over. It
- 32:04Speaker 5: was a great race. Kyle Larson deserved it. A lot
- 32:08Speaker 5: of craziness in that race. There was a lot of
- 32:10Speaker 5: the final four we're having a lot of car issues,
- 32:15Speaker 5: you know, a lot. I think at one point every
- 32:18Speaker 5: single one of them went out with something wrong with
- 32:20Speaker 5: their car. So yeah, that's crazy. But yeah, so congratulations
- 32:25Speaker 5: to Kyle Larson. On winning this year's twenty twenty five
- 32:29Speaker 5: NASCAR Cup. It's awesome. You know, he's a great racer.
- 32:33Speaker 5: I love Kyle Larson, but my favorites obviously Shane Van Ginzbergen,
- 32:37Speaker 5: and my other favorite is Conder Zilch, who did not
- 32:41Speaker 5: win the day before that, but he came close. He
- 32:44Speaker 5: was in the final four this year. He's gonna be
- 32:48Speaker 5: our next year. He's going to be racing with regular
- 32:50Speaker 5: NASCAR on Sundays, and I'm excited for that. I think
- 32:53Speaker 5: everybody should be. He's a great kid, he's awesome. He's
- 32:57Speaker 5: going to be probably one of the best. I think
- 33:01Speaker 5: he's gonna be up there. So yeah, we'll see what happens.
- 33:05Speaker 5: We also have a new champion in Major League Baseball.
- 33:09Speaker 5: As the last week it ended Saturday night, the Los
- 33:12Speaker 5: Angeles Dodgers went back to back, which was crazy showatani
- 33:19Speaker 5: all of them. Congratulations to the entire crew over there.
- 33:23Speaker 5: It was really, really, really fun to watch with great
- 33:26Speaker 5: series from start to finish. Between the eighteen inning game
- 33:30Speaker 5: and then just like the last game went extra innings.
- 33:33Speaker 5: The game seven Halloween Night, you know, the Dodgers tie
- 33:37Speaker 5: it up to go on to Game seven, so I mean,
- 33:40Speaker 5: it was good from start to finish. If you didn't
- 33:43Speaker 5: enjoy the World Series, then you don't know sports because
- 33:46Speaker 5: you can think baseball is boring. I do. I think
- 33:49Speaker 5: it's boring during the year, one hundred and sixty two games,
- 33:51Speaker 5: there's a lot of games to play, but I do
- 33:55Speaker 5: love watching it like that, So that was really cool.
- 33:58Speaker 5: And last, but not least for the sports section, I
- 34:00Speaker 5: want to talk about okay See. Okay See lost their
- 34:03Speaker 5: first game last night. I was ready to come on
- 34:05Speaker 5: the show today and talk about a nine and oh team.
- 34:08Speaker 5: They lost to the Portland Trailblazers, and what I think
- 34:11Speaker 5: was a heartbreaker because they were up and they were
- 34:14Speaker 5: doing really, really well in that game and then they
- 34:17Speaker 5: just collapsed in the last half. They were up, you know,
- 34:19Speaker 5: only by five at a half, but I mean, they
- 34:22Speaker 5: were on a pretty decent run and then they but
- 34:25Speaker 5: they just allowed Portland to just really own them in
- 34:32Speaker 5: that game. And that's what scares me. Like I was
- 34:34Speaker 5: ready to come out here and say, yeah, I really
- 34:37Speaker 5: think okay Ce's gonna make the finals this year, and
- 34:39Speaker 5: I still think they will. But if Portland can beat
- 34:43Speaker 5: you like that, other teams are going to be watching
- 34:46Speaker 5: that film and say how did they beat him like that?
- 34:51Speaker 5: How did they do what they did? So and they're
- 34:55Speaker 5: gonna be watching film on then I think, okay, Ce's
- 34:57Speaker 5: gonna struggle. Chicago Bulls amazing start to the season. My
- 35:01Speaker 5: Bulls are six and one. I'm really excited about that.
- 35:05Speaker 5: I think that's amazing. But don't count your chickens before
- 35:08Speaker 5: they hatch. We've got a long way to go. You're
- 35:11Speaker 5: only seven games in the season for the Bulls. There's
- 35:14Speaker 5: eighty two games. You got a lot of games left
- 35:17Speaker 5: before you could start really talking about them making any
- 35:20Speaker 5: noise in anything. So yeah, I would definitely before I
- 35:24Speaker 5: started going out there and making my plans to attend
- 35:30Speaker 5: a w to attend that. Yeah, I wouldn't say we're
- 35:36Speaker 5: going to the NBA Finals with Oklahoma City. I don't
- 35:39Speaker 5: even know if Oklahoma City is gonna go on. So
- 35:44Speaker 5: we'll see what happens. I'm gonna move on to the entertainment,
- 35:48Speaker 5: but before we do, I want to play this song
- 35:50Speaker 5: for Lord, who has a birthday this weekend, and let's
- 35:54Speaker 5: play it right now. This is Lord with Royals right
- 35:57Speaker 5: here on the Robbie g Podcast.
- 35:58Speaker 6: Have never seen it die I'm an in Flish, I
- 36:04Speaker 6: cut my teeth on wedding rings in the movie, and
- 36:10Speaker 6: I'm not.

- 36:18Speaker 7: post good dams.
- 36:21Speaker 8: But every song's like goal teeth, great ghost chipping in
- 36:24Speaker 8: the back room, blood stains ball down, stretching the hotel room.
- 36:27Speaker 4: We don't care. We're driving Cadillacs in on a treat.
- 36:32Speaker 8: Whether everybody's like Chrystal may Bat Diamon's on your time piece,

- 36:43Speaker 2: Will never be right. It's a wood in our plants.
- 36:49Speaker 2: That kind of loves just ain't for us. We create
- 36:53Speaker 2: a different kind of bud. Let me be your mood.
- 36:58Speaker 2: You can go to Queen a baby out. Let me
- 37:06Speaker 2: live that fantasy.
- 37:12Speaker 4: My friends in the i WI coracked the cold.
- 37:17Speaker 8: We count our dollars on.
- 37:19Speaker 4: The train to the body, and everyone who knows us no.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Then we're fine with things we didn't come from. Money.
- 37:34Speaker 8: Every sounds like gold teeth, great Gustavin in the back room,
- 37:38Speaker 8: blood stains ball down, stretching the hotel boom.
- 37:41Speaker 4: We don't care.
- 37:43Speaker 8: We're driving Cadillacs in our tree, but everybody's like Crystal
- 37:47Speaker 8: may Bat diamonds on your time piece, Jeffleet's Islands, Tigers
- 37:51Speaker 8: on a gold least.
- 37:52Speaker 4: We don't care. We are caught up in your love affair.
- 37:57Speaker 2: And will never be right.
- 38:01Speaker 7: It's a wooded outland that kind of loves just a
- 38:04Speaker 7: for us, we crave a different kind of bird.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Let me be your. You can call me creepy. Let's
- 38:14Speaker 2: be out o. Let me live that fantasy.
- 38:21Speaker 9: Oh a dream, and I love with being Queen's cre.
- 38:40Speaker 4: We are caught up in your love affair and will
- 38:42Speaker 4: never be right.
- 38:46Speaker 2: It's a wooden outland that kind of loves just a
- 38:50Speaker 2: for us. We crave a different kind of bird. Let
- 38:53Speaker 2: me be your. You can call me creepy, baby, let
- 39:04Speaker 2: me live that fantasy.
- 39:06Speaker 5: Oh right, we are back. That was Lord with Royals
- 39:11Speaker 5: right here on the Robbie g Podcast. A really good song. So,
- 39:14Speaker 5: speaking of music, I wanted to talk about biopics. Okay,
- 39:20Speaker 5: the new one about Bruce Springsteen just came out. The
- 39:25Speaker 5: Complete Unknown also came out not too long ago. There
- 39:30Speaker 5: was a lot of good ones that have come out,
- 39:33Speaker 5: but yeah, the new one with Bruce Springsteen didn't do
- 39:37Speaker 5: so great at the theater, and a lot of people
- 39:40Speaker 5: are like, oh well, no one cares about them. I
- 39:43Speaker 5: wanted to go through these bio picks and show people,
- 39:48Speaker 5: like what these movies make a lot of them. Now,
- 39:51Speaker 5: some are blockbusters, Okay, I mean, we'll go through this
- 39:55Speaker 5: whole list. There's twenty five of them, and I'll tell
- 39:57Speaker 5: you what they made worldwide gross. Okay, and this is worldwide.
- 40:01Speaker 5: This isn't just in the United States, all right. So No.

- 40:09Speaker 5: It did a worldwide gross of thirty three point four million.

- 42:12Speaker 5: the box office. That's the worldwide gross and it had

- 44:18Speaker 5: Dance with Somebody from twenty twenty two did fifty nine
- 44:23Speaker 5: point eight million. Naomi Aki starred in this film, which

- 44:36Speaker 5: Sissy Spacek one an Oscar for Best Actress for playing
- 44:40Speaker 5: country star Loretta Lynn. Beverly D'Angelo was in that one too.
- 44:47Speaker 5: Number eleven Jersey Boys from twenty fourteen sixty seven point
- 44:52Speaker 5: six million that was directed by Clint Eastwood. Clint Eastwood
- 44:55Speaker 5: directed and co produced this film, adaptation of the Blackbuster
- 44:59Speaker 5: stage music, which opened on Broadway in two thousand and five.
- 45:03Speaker 5: The biopic about the four season starred John Lloyd Young
- 45:06Speaker 5: as Frankie Valley, Eric Bergen as Bob Guado Guadio, Michael
- 45:15Speaker 5: Lamenda as Nick Massey, and Vincent Piazza as Tommy DeVito.
- 45:21Speaker 5: The film didn't get nearly as much award love as
- 45:23Speaker 5: the stage musical did. The musical won four Tony Awards.
- 45:29Speaker 5: Number ten is I Can Only Imagine? In twenty eighteen
- 45:32Speaker 5: did eighty six point one million at the box office.
- 45:35Speaker 5: Michael Finley starred as Bart Millard, the lead singer of
- 45:38Speaker 5: the contemporary Christian band mercy Me. Number nine Levie and
- 45:45Speaker 5: Rose in twenty nineteen eighty seven point five million dollars
- 45:50Speaker 5: at the box office. That movie was Marion Colenteered won
- 45:55Speaker 5: an Oscar for her role as the French singer who
- 45:58Speaker 5: recorded the nineteen forty seven a classic that gave the
- 46:01Speaker 5: film its title. So yeah, that movie did pretty good.
- 46:05Speaker 5: Number eight was Ray one hundred and twenty four million
- 46:08Speaker 5: worldwide gross. At number eight. JM. Fox won an Oscar
- 46:12Speaker 5: for Best Actor for playing rach Charles. Number seven a
- 46:15Speaker 5: complete Unknown. Timothy shelle May chellow May starred as Bob
- 46:22Speaker 5: Dylan in this biopic. I still have not seen it.
- 46:25Speaker 5: I have to see it. I love Bob Dylan, so
- 46:27Speaker 5: I'm definitely gonna watch it one day. It has never
- 46:29Speaker 5: got a chance yet. One hundred and forty million at
- 46:31Speaker 5: the box office. Number six Bob Marley, One Love, one
- 46:36Speaker 5: hundred and eighty one million at the box office. First
- 46:38Speaker 5: he changed music, Then he changed the world, was the
- 46:40Speaker 5: tagline for the film, which was directed and co written
- 46:44Speaker 5: by Ronaldo Marcus Green. It was based on the life
- 46:48Speaker 5: of reggae legend Bob Marley from his rise to fame
- 46:51Speaker 5: in the mid seventies up until his death in nineteen
- 46:53Speaker 5: eighty one. Number five was Walked the Line in two
- 46:57Speaker 5: thousand and five did one hundred and eighty six point
- 47:00Speaker 5: eight million. Joaquin Phoenix received an OSCAR nomination for Best
- 47:04Speaker 5: Actor for playing country legend Johnny Cash, while Reese Witherspoon

- 47:12Speaker 5: Carter Cash. Number four, Rocketman did one hundred and ninety
- 47:18Speaker 5: five point three million at the box office in twenty nineteen.
- 47:22Speaker 5: That was Tarron Egerton won race for his performance as
- 47:26Speaker 5: Elton John. Number three was straight out of Compton. One
- 47:30Speaker 5: of my favorite biopicks. I love this movie came on
- 47:34Speaker 5: on twenty fifteen. Two hundred and one point six million
- 47:37Speaker 5: dollars for an ice Cube was played by his real
- 47:40Speaker 5: life son, Osh Jackson Junior in this NWA bio pick,
- 47:45Speaker 5: which also starred Corey Hawkins as Doctor Dre, Jason Mitchell
- 47:49Speaker 5: as Easy E, Neil Brown Junior as DJ Yella, and
- 47:52Speaker 5: All This Hodge as mc wren. Great movie Number two.
- 47:57Speaker 5: Another one of my favorite biopicks, Elvis. We just watched
- 48:00Speaker 5: it last year. Amazing movie. It was awesome. Did two
- 48:06Speaker 5: hundred and eighty eight point seven million at the box office.
- 48:08Speaker 5: Elvis was Baz Lorman's biopick of Elvis Presley from his
- 48:12Speaker 5: childhood to becoming one of the greatest pop music stars
- 48:15Speaker 5: of all time. The film also explored his complex relationship
- 48:18Speaker 5: with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker, played by Tom Hanks.
- 48:22Speaker 5: In addition to directing the film, Lorman co wrote and
- 48:25Speaker 5: co produced it. Awesome movie, great movie, and the number
- 48:30Speaker 5: one bio pick probably by number one favorite of all time.
- 48:37Speaker 5: That's up there with Straight Out of Compton and one
- 48:41Speaker 5: with Elvis, and then of course The Biggie and the
- 48:44Speaker 5: tupac Ones. But this one made almost a billion dollars
- 48:49Speaker 5: at the box office nine and ten point eight million.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Bohemian Rhapsody Radmy Mallick won an Oscar for Best Actor
- 48:57Speaker 5: for playing Queen's charismatic leads singer Freddie Mercury. Film also
- 49:02Speaker 5: starred Gwilm Lee as guitar as Brian May, Ben Hardy
- 49:06Speaker 5: as drummer, Roger Taylor, and Joe Mazzola as bassist. John
- 49:10Speaker 5: Deacon Man Taylor served as consultants on the film, which
- 49:13Speaker 5: focused on the period from the band's formation in nineteen
- 49:16Speaker 5: seventy to their triumphant performance at Live Aid in Wimbley
- 49:20Speaker 5: Stadium in nineteen eighty five. The film received five Oscar nominations,
- 49:24Speaker 5: including Best Picture, and won four awards, more than any
- 49:27Speaker 5: other film that year. The film drew its title from
- 49:30Speaker 5: Queen's Most Favorite Song, which reached number two or number
- 49:34Speaker 5: nine on the Hot one hundred and nineteen seventy six
- 49:37Speaker 5: and number two in nineteen ninety two after it was
- 49:39Speaker 5: featured in the pox office smash Wayne's World. The Bohemian
- 49:43Speaker 5: Rapsoite Soundtracker reached number two of the Billboard two hundreds. So,
- 49:48Speaker 5: I mean, as you can see what biopicks, though some
- 49:50Speaker 5: do really really well and some really don't, Bruce Springsteen
- 49:54Speaker 5: is very popular. We'll see where it ended up this
- 49:57Speaker 5: week when we do our movies. But I'm I mean,
- 50:00Speaker 5: let's be honest. I think that people that are talking
- 50:05Speaker 5: really bad about him are the people who don't like
- 50:09Speaker 5: him for his politics. He is a very very outspoken liberal,
- 50:14Speaker 5: and there's nothing wrong with that, just like there's really
- 50:16Speaker 5: nothing wrong being an outspoken conservative. Like if that's who
- 50:21Speaker 5: you are, that's just who you are. Whether people agree
- 50:25Speaker 5: or disagree with you, you are what you are, and
- 50:28Speaker 5: you vote how you vote. But to say that, oh,
- 50:32Speaker 5: Bruce Springsteen's music sucks because he's a liberal. That's the
- 50:37Speaker 5: dumbest thing I've ever heard. He's done some of the
- 50:40Speaker 5: greatest songs of all time in rock music, just like
- 50:44Speaker 5: people are like, Oh, Robert de Niro sucks now because
- 50:47Speaker 5: he's a liberal. His movies are horrible. His movie's gross
- 50:50Speaker 5: like billions of dollars in the box office casino, all
- 50:55Speaker 5: the Meat the Parents movies. There's another Meet the Parents
- 50:57Speaker 5: movie coming out next year. So to go there and
- 51:01Speaker 5: say that this is horrible because he's a liberal, it
- 51:07Speaker 5: is not cool and that's really stupid. So we'll see
- 51:09Speaker 5: how it did there before we do our box office
- 51:12Speaker 5: and end the show. I wanted to do this because
- 51:17Speaker 5: Christmas is in the air. Okay, holiday seasons here. Halloween's
- 51:21Speaker 5: officially over. Now you've got the major holidays coming up, Thanksgiving, Christmas,
- 51:24Speaker 5: New Year's the cluster of three with technically with Halloween.
- 51:30Speaker 5: I mean it's a cluster of four if you think
- 51:32Speaker 5: about it depends on who celebrates Halloween and who does it.
- 51:35Speaker 5: But it is a cluster of four. But the big
- 51:39Speaker 5: holiday coming up obviously out of all four of them,
- 51:42Speaker 5: is Christmas. I mean, this is the most popular one. Right,
- 51:45Speaker 5: So I found a list and I'm not going to
- 51:48Speaker 5: go in too much into it. Thirty eight forgotten Christmas
- 51:53Speaker 5: films for you to watch this Christmas time. A lot
- 51:57Speaker 5: of people start watching holiday movies now. The Light FM
- 52:01Speaker 5: ninety thirty point nine is Chicago was already playing twenty
- 52:05Speaker 5: four to seven Christmas music. The Hallmark Channel already has
- 52:09Speaker 5: their Christmas movies on, so it's not too early if
- 52:12Speaker 5: you enjoy it, to watch Christmas movies. So here's thirty eight. Okay,
- 52:19Speaker 5: this is thirty eight forgotten Christmas films that you should
- 52:22Speaker 5: watch now, all right. According to this, they want us
- 52:27Speaker 5: to start at number one, so that's what we're gonna do.
- 52:30Speaker 5: Number one from nineteen thirty four is Bright Eyes. I'm
- 52:35Speaker 5: just gonna go through these names. Number two from nineteen
- 52:37Speaker 5: thirty four, The Thin Man. I don't know how these
- 52:41Speaker 5: are Christmas movies, but somehow they are. Number three nineteen
- 52:44Speaker 5: thirty Nine's Bachelor Mother. Number four nineteen forty The Shop
- 52:51Speaker 5: around the Corner. Apparently, this goes from nineteen thirty nine
- 52:55Speaker 5: till now nineteen forty two. At number five, The Man
- 52:58Speaker 5: who Came to Dinner. Number six from nineteen forty four,
- 53:03Speaker 5: Meet Me In Saint Louis says, though not a holiday movie,
- 53:07Speaker 5: in in itself, Meet Me in Saint Louis has one
- 53:11Speaker 5: claim to Christmas fame. Judy Garland debut the classic two
- 53:14Speaker 5: to Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and hur Renown Wardrobe. Okay,
- 53:18Speaker 5: there we go. Number seven, nineteen forty five, Christmas at Connecticut.
- 53:23Speaker 5: That's actually a good one. I've seen that when I
- 53:25Speaker 5: was a kid. Number eight, nineteen forty Nine's the Holiday
- 53:28Speaker 5: Affair some of the Little Suss Number nine, nineteen forty nine,
- 53:34Speaker 5: Little Women. Okay, I guess that's a Christmas movie. Number ten,
- 53:40Speaker 5: nineteen fifty one, The Lemon Drop Kid, Little Bob Hope.
- 53:46Speaker 5: Number eleven from nineteen fifty five. We're No Angels. Nothing
- 53:51Speaker 5: screams Christmas movie like three Convicts. That's how it started out.
- 53:56Speaker 5: Number twelve, nineteen fifty five, Young at Heart from the
- 54:00Speaker 5: forties and fifties on Here, Number thirteen, nineteen sixty The Apartment,
- 54:07Speaker 5: Number fourteen from nineteen sixty five on Charlie Brown Christmas.
- 54:11Speaker 5: I don't know how they claim that's forgotten. It's on
- 54:13Speaker 5: Apple TV plus all year around, and you can literally
- 54:16Speaker 5: watch it on that channel during the Christmas season too.
- 54:20Speaker 5: I don't know how they think that's forgotten. Number fifteen,
- 54:23Speaker 5: nineteen sixty six. How the Grinch Stole Christmas? The cartoon?
- 54:26Speaker 5: How is that forgotten? That movie's on every single year.
- 54:30Speaker 5: It's on that That cartoon is on every single year
- 54:34Speaker 5: right after Thanksgiving. Here's another one from nineteen sixty nine,
- 54:38Speaker 5: Frosty and Snowman, the cartoon that's on every Christmas. Number
- 54:43Speaker 5: seventeen from nineteen eighty three, Training Places. That's a good
- 54:46Speaker 5: movie with Dad Ackroyd and Eddie Murphy. Awesome movie. Nineteen
- 54:51Speaker 5: eighty four, Number eighteen Gremlins. Good news there is a
- 54:55Speaker 5: Gremlins four coming out, or is it Gremlins three? Gremlins three?
- 55:00Speaker 5: They're making another Gremlins movie. I am so excited. We'll
- 55:03Speaker 5: talk about that next week. But that's a Christmas movie
- 55:06Speaker 5: to watch. Number nineteen from nineteen eighty five, Santa Claus.
- 55:13Speaker 5: Who's that actor? Is that? Dudley Moore? Is Dudley Moore? There?
- 55:17Speaker 5: Number twenty from nineteen eighty six, Babes and Toyland. Drew
- 55:20Speaker 5: Barrymore plays an eleven year old in Cincinnati, Ohio, who
- 55:24Speaker 5: takes herself a bit too seriously from number twenty one
- 55:29Speaker 5: from nineteen eighty seven, Lethal Weapon. Yes it was done
- 55:33Speaker 5: at Christmas time. It is a Christmas movie, just like
- 55:36Speaker 5: die Hard says. If Diehard counts, then Lead the Weapon
- 55:38Speaker 5: certainly does too. In fact, they fight in the living
- 55:42Speaker 5: room with a Christmas tree. There that is on a
- 55:44Speaker 5: Christmas movie. Number twenty two. There it is die Hard
- 55:47Speaker 5: from nineteen eighty eight. Yes, it is a Christmas movie.
- 55:51Speaker 5: It is done at Christmas time. Nach Tooby Plaza gets
- 55:54Speaker 5: hijacked on Christmas Eve. You can't not be a Christmas movie.
- 56:01Speaker 5: Let's see Number twenty three. Look Who's talking? I don't
- 56:07Speaker 5: know from nineteen eighty een. I don't know how this
- 56:09Speaker 5: is considered. Bruce Wilson narrates a baby's perspective as he
- 56:16Speaker 5: watches his mother debate the love and devotion of a
- 56:19Speaker 5: kind taxi driver at Christmas time. I don't know. I
- 56:24Speaker 5: don't know if I agree with Look Who's talking? No.
- 56:29Speaker 5: Number twenty four, nineteen eighty nine, Prancer. Yes, that would
- 56:32Speaker 5: definitely be a Christmas movie. Number twenty five. Don't ask
- 56:36Speaker 5: me how they think this is forgotten. They said these
- 56:39Speaker 5: are forgotten. Number twenty five from nineteen eighty nine, National
- 56:43Speaker 5: Land Pood's Christmas Vacation. That movie is everywhere all freaking year,
- 56:49Speaker 5: not even just at Christmas time. You could watch it
- 56:52Speaker 5: the other day, like literally a month ago. So in
- 56:55Speaker 5: October they were playing all the National Lampoon movies that
- 56:58Speaker 5: was in there. I don't get it. Number twenty six
- 57:03Speaker 5: from nineteen ninety two, To Grandmother's House We Go with
- 57:06Speaker 5: Mary Kate Nashley Olsen. Number twenty seven from nineteen ninety two.
- 57:10Speaker 5: Batman Returns. Why not Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Keaton fall
- 57:14Speaker 5: in love as Catwoman and Batman. Isn't exactly our typical
- 57:19Speaker 5: Christmas movie, but it is said during the holiday. I
- 57:22Speaker 5: guess that counts. Twenty eight nineteen ninety three is the
- 57:25Speaker 5: Nightmare before Christmas. That movie's everywhere at Christmas time. I
- 57:29Speaker 5: don't know why they think it's forgotten. Number twenty nine
- 57:32Speaker 5: from nineteen ninety four, One Christmas. Number thirty from nineteen
- 57:38Speaker 5: ninety four, Mixed Nuts. That's a good one too. That's
- 57:41Speaker 5: a great movie with Steve Martin. Definitely Number thirty one
- 57:48Speaker 5: nineteen ninety four, While You Were Sleeping That's a good
- 57:50Speaker 5: one with Sandra Bullock. And is it Bull Pullman Bill Pullman.
- 57:58Speaker 5: Number thirty two nineteen ninety six is The Preacher's Wife
- 58:02Speaker 5: with Winny Houston, Gray movie Denzel Washington's in It Awesome Movie.
- 58:08Speaker 5: Number thirty three. This movie is good, stupid good. Jingle
- 58:11Speaker 5: All the Way with Arl Schwartzeneyer from nineteen ninety six.
- 58:14Speaker 5: Number thirty four from nineteen ninety eight, Stepbomb, Stepbomb, starring Treasures,
- 58:21Speaker 5: Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon, has everything you could want
- 58:25Speaker 5: in a Christmas movie. Complex relationship, snowy Christmas setting, and
- 58:29Speaker 5: heartwarming scenes between characters. Number thirty five is nineteen ninety
- 58:34Speaker 5: eight's Jack Frost with Michael Keaton. Says Michael Kean plays
- 58:41Speaker 5: a touring musician who's really home to spend time with
- 58:43Speaker 5: his wife and son after his fatal car accident. His
- 58:46Speaker 5: son blows the harmonica his father gave him, and it
- 58:49Speaker 5: brings his father back as a snowman. It's a good
- 58:52Speaker 5: Movie's sad, but it's a good movie. Number thirty six
- 58:56Speaker 5: from two thousand The Family Man with Nicholas Cage thirty
- 59:00Speaker 5: seven from two thousand and one Call Me Clause with
- 59:02Speaker 5: Woopy Goldberg. I'll remember that one and the last one,
- 59:06Speaker 5: number thirty eight in twenty eleven was Arthur's Arthur Christmas.
- 59:11Speaker 5: So yeah, those are thirty eight movies. A lot of
- 59:14Speaker 5: those are not forgotten. I don't know why they called
- 59:17Speaker 5: it that, but those are thirty eight movies to check
- 59:19Speaker 5: out this holiday season. So definitely do that. All right,
- 59:23Speaker 5: Let's move on to our last topic of the day,
- 59:26Speaker 5: which is the box office. Let's do it. Let's see
- 59:30Speaker 5: where these movies ranked. If I can find it, why
- 59:36Speaker 5: can I never find I need to keep it towards
- 59:38Speaker 5: the bottom because I use it every week. Here we
- 59:41Speaker 5: go top box office. Okay, so here we go number ten,
- 59:50Speaker 5: Good Fortune, we get gross of one point four million,
- 59:54Speaker 5: total gross of fifteen million in three weeks. Stitchhead we
- 59:58Speaker 5: get gross of two million, total gross of two point
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: nine million in week one. That came in at number nine.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: Number eight was tron Ares three point one million, total
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: gross of sixty nine million in four weeks. Springstein Delivering
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: Me from Nowhere came in at number seven with a
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: weekend gross of three point eight million, total gross of
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: seventeen million in two weeks. Not shabby at all for
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: a bio pick like this, You know, Bruce Springsteen is
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: not one of the most popular rockers of all time.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: He's popular, but there's ones that are way bigger than him,
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: and it is what it is. I think that it's
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: gonna be a great movie. I can't wait to see
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: it coming in. And number six is Back to the Future,
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: which got re released in the movie theaters for a
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: week and that did a weekend gross of four point
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: nine million, did a total gross of two hundred and
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: twenty million since it's been out, and that was for
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: the one week though the four point nine million Bogania
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: came in at number five, weekend gross of five million,
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: seven point six million in two weeks. K Pop Demon
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: Hunters came in at number four, five point three million
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: weekend gross, twenty four million total gross in eleven weeks.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: Chainsaw Man the movie res arc did a weekend gross
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: of six point two million thirty three million total gross
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: in two weeks. Regretting You came in at number two,
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: seven point eight million weekend gross a total gross of
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: thirty million in two weeks. And of course, the number
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: one movie at the box office was Black Phone two
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: did eight point three weekend gross, sixty four million total
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: gross in three weeks, so I mean, if you really look,
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: nothing really stood out this week. Eight point three million
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: was the biggest amount that movies made this week at
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: the box office. Bruce Springsteen did three point eight million,
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: black Phone did eight point three So, I mean, it's
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: really not that far off from each other. So right
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: now it's the holiday season. People are thinking about Christmas.
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: Now you're not gonna see as many people at the
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: theaters until after the holiday probably, so that's when I
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: think your movies are going to start picking up again.
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: This shows that really movies aren't doing that great in
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: the last couple of weeks anyway. Black Phone made sixty
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: four million in three weeks. Though that's good the black
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: Phone too, But you know, some of these movies not
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: the greatest, not the worst. I think K Pop Demon Hunters,
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: which is popular, only in twenty four million in eleven weeks.
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: It's really not that great, all right. So next week
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: we will talk more about the NFL and nc DOUBLEA,
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: especially the NCUBLEA playoffs. Man, we're in a lull right now.
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: Baseball season's over, NASCAR is over, so we get stuff
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: to talk about. But we'll talk about more next week.
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: Until that, everybody, enjoy your weekend. Start getting in the
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: holiday spirit, because the holidays are gonna come around very
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: very fast, and you want to spend that time with
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: your family. I will see everybody later. I love you all.
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: I'll see everybody next Monday for the Chicago Bears Day
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: After show, and hopefully it'll be a Bears victory Monday.
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: We'll find out on Monday, but I will see everybody later.
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: I will see you guys. Have a great weekend. Peace.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: Here's Nick Lache and ninety eight degrees with the hardest
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: thing right here on the Robbie g Podcast.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: We will know that I shouldn't be here and idiot's
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: killing me? Who's killing you?
- 1:04:04Speaker 10: But for those kind to be strong? I got sore
- 1:04:08Speaker 10: else to be, Mama says, to be so someone else
- 1:04:13Speaker 10: who loves me.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: And trusted me festusly. I've made a mama very so too.
- 1:04:24Speaker 10: She's been good to me and she deserves better than me.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: She left to.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Me and I don't love you so honestly.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Not live to live.
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: Show no emotion when you starts bad, can't.
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: Let's just see what.
- 1:04:53Speaker 10: You mean to me when my hands are tied and
- 1:04:58Speaker 10: my heart's.
