Welcome to Nate's Daily Wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's Daily Wager for
• 0:25
  February 19th, 2024. Happy President's Day to
• 0:31
  everybody out there who celebrates.
• 0:34
I mean, I don't know really what the celebration is other than
• 0:37
stay at home and not having to go to work.
• 0:40
Unless you have to go to work, then that sucks, man.
• 0:43
Like you should get today off, dude.
• 0:46
All right. So last night, as I was hoping,
• 0:49
as I convinced myself finally, I thought, you know what?
• 0:54
I think one of these teams is going to go for 200.
• 0:56
And not only did they go for 200, they got to 211.
• 1:00
So I think I said like two different numbers yesterday on
• 1:04
what my toe the total was. But here's the good thing.
• 1:07
It doesn't matter. It was well over.
• 1:09
So, you know, it was almost 400, if I remember correctly.
• 1:15
Yeah, of what they ended up at, maybe it was like 298 or
• 1:19
  something like that. Or 398.
• 1:20
Anyways, I got the win. That's what matters today.
• 1:24
No basketball. There's some college basketball,
• 1:27
but I don't know that very well. So I'm going to go with
• 1:31
something that I know I don't know very well, and that's
• 1:33
  hockey. And sometimes I'm good,
• 1:36
sometimes I'm bad. And I'm hoping today, since I've
• 1:39
been bad previously, that today will be the day that I'm good.
• 1:42
It kind of got to come back on itself.
• 1:44
So I'm looking at this, you know, hockey Bastion out there
• 1:49
in the Southwest and the Arizona Coyotes are hosting the Edmonton
• 1:55
Oilers and it's currently this total sitting at 6 1/2 now for
• 2:02
me, seven goals seems like a lot, but you know, hey, you
• 2:05
know, Panthers hung 9 the other night, so why not?
• 2:09
And I just found out that the Coyotes goalie first time he's
• 2:14
playing at least this year. I don't know.
• 2:17
It just says a bunch of zeros and I don't know today, so I can
• 2:20
start with Avi. Think Italy fiddles anyways, so
• 2:25
we're just going to go the over. That's what we're going with.
• 2:28
So we're going over 6 1/2 total goals between the Edmonton
• 2:32
Oilers and Arizona Coyotes in today's NHL hockey action.
• 2:37
So anything better than that? Pound it, That's my pick and I'm
• 2:39
sticking to it. Don't forget to rate, review,
