- 0:15Speaker 4: Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two one
- 0:19Speaker 4: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Dave
- 0:22Speaker 4: in Chicago. Dave, how you doing.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Good morning, Mark.
- 0:25Speaker 3: I'm doing very well.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Thank you, Mark. I read a report that in the
- 0:29Speaker 1: recent past, Governor Kathy hokel VIVO to bill which would
- 0:33Speaker 1: have restricted Mayor Mondami's powers. I have two questions, if
- 0:38Speaker 1: you please. The first is didn't Mondamie meet with President
- 0:43Speaker 1: Trump in the Oval office? And secondly, our very good
- 0:47Speaker 1: friend Vincent and Brooklyn watches a lot of Italian TV.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I'm wondering if they're covering this.
- 0:54Speaker 4: No, I don't think it. I don't think it goes
- 0:56Speaker 4: that far, but it has become a national story. Donnie,
- 1:01Speaker 4: And as far as Kathy Hope, you got to remember,
- 1:04Speaker 4: Democrats have controlled everything in New York for twelve years,
- 1:08Speaker 4: almost thirteen years. Everything. The governor is a Democrat, the
- 1:12Speaker 4: Mayor's been a Democrat, the whole city council Democrats, the
- 1:16Speaker 4: state legislature both houses Democrats. Democrats have had full control
- 1:21Speaker 4: for almost thirteen years. So when they say this an
- 1:26Speaker 4: affordability crisis, whose fault is that, Well, they're the ones
- 1:30Speaker 4: that have been running everything. So when the campaign based
- 1:32Speaker 4: on affordability crisis and this is wrong and there's no
- 1:35Speaker 4: housing and everything, well there to blame. They've been totally
- 1:38Speaker 4: in charge of every inter government for thirteen years. And
- 1:43Speaker 4: if all that stuff is wrong, well that's the result
- 1:45Speaker 4: of them. Hard to believe, but if you go back
- 1:47Speaker 4: a whole bunch of years before those thirteen years, you know,
- 1:52Speaker 4: you had George Pataki, you had Rudy Giuliani, you had
- 1:56Speaker 4: Mike Bloomberg, you had Republicans in the state legislature controlled
- 2:01Speaker 4: one house, you had a lot of Republicans on the
- 2:03Speaker 4: city Council. It's a whole different world, and it was
- 2:06Speaker 4: a lot better in New York back then. Let's go
- 2:09Speaker 4: to Gina in Staten Island. Gina, how you doing?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Oh Hi, I'm doing great. I love your show. I'm
- 2:17Speaker 2: calling because I was in Brooklyn the other day and
- 2:19Speaker 2: I saw a very disturbing sign hanging out of a window.
- 2:22Speaker 2: It said ready eighty six forty seven. So I said,
- 2:26Speaker 2: I can't believe this. So I pulled over, I took
- 2:29Speaker 2: a picture. I called the police and told them. I said,
- 2:32Speaker 2: it's on an emergency, but I'm very upset about the science.
- 2:35Speaker 2: And they said, well, we don't know what that means.
- 2:37Speaker 2: And I said, you're kidding, you don't know what that means.
- 2:40Speaker 2: They said, I'll call three one one.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not just that house, you know. There's all
- 2:45Speaker 4: kinds of things online where you can buy eighty six
- 2:47Speaker 4: forty seven T shirts that's been going on for years.
- 2:50Speaker 4: You can buy them on Amazon. There's eighty six forty
- 2:52Speaker 4: seven merchandise. Yeah, it's terrible.
- 2:57Speaker 2: It's all horrible.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel it's just terrible. But that's that's Democrats.
- 3:03Speaker 4: That's the way they do things. Let's go to Rob
- 3:06Speaker 4: in Franklin Square. Rob, how you doing?
- 3:08Speaker 5: Yeah, good morning, Mark. Ye. I'm a retired transit cop
- 3:10Speaker 5: and I've been following the Epstein thing since twenty nineteen
- 3:14Speaker 5: now to tagle you. You the Rode cop. He was the
- 3:16Speaker 5: one that informed to the corrections that that Epstein made
- 3:20Speaker 5: a you know, verbal remarks that he was going to
- 3:23Speaker 5: commit suicide, and then he was transferred to the psych
- 3:26Speaker 5: ward for thirty days now when he when when Epstein
- 3:29Speaker 5: came back, tech Tagli was out of the picture. He
- 3:32Speaker 5: was transferred to another He wasn't in he wasn't in
- 3:35Speaker 5: the cell anymore.
- 3:36Speaker 4: So, you know, he was still in the prison, and
- 3:38Speaker 4: it was a very corrupt prison. Guards from the prison
- 3:41Speaker 4: have actually gone to jail for corruption.
- 3:43Speaker 5: But he gave he gave the note. When he found
- 3:45Speaker 5: a note, he gave it to the lawyers in twenty
- 3:47Speaker 5: nineteen and they held it to twenty twenty one. So
- 3:49Speaker 5: he wouldn't there's no way that he would have been
- 3:51Speaker 5: the guy that would, you know. But you know what
- 3:55Speaker 5: millions dollars, billions of dollars that wasn't.
- 3:58Speaker 4: If we're to believe him and his lawyer that they
- 4:02Speaker 4: had this note, why didn't they release it immediately? That
- 4:05Speaker 4: would have gotten all the Ta Taglia off the hook.
- 4:08Speaker 4: He was a suspect for so long. Let's go to
- 4:12Speaker 4: Joe and Gardner, New York.
- 4:13Speaker 5: Joe, how you doing good yourself?
- 4:16Speaker 4: Let me check? Not bad?
- 4:18Speaker 5: Not bad, that's good, that's good. He So international law,
- 4:23Speaker 5: what's with the Hague?
- 4:25Speaker 3: Is it this? Like?
- 4:27Speaker 5: Who's going to enforce it?
- 4:28Speaker 4: If there is no such thing as international law, it
- 4:31Speaker 4: doesn't exist. I mean, you could say there's court cases
- 4:34Speaker 4: and rulings around the world, and each country has their loss.
- 4:37Speaker 4: There's no such thing as international law.
- 4:40Speaker 5: Is that where Jack Smith was working at the Hague?
- 4:43Speaker 4: Yeah? The Hague is some sort of court where a country,
- 4:45Speaker 4: if they want, can take somebody to court. They really
- 4:47Speaker 4: don't have a lot of authority over anything now and again,
- 4:51Speaker 4: there's no such thing as international law. You only hear
- 4:55Speaker 4: about it when Democrats need to claim something. You know,
- 4:59Speaker 4: when Trump with the Maduro raid, they'll take it's against
- 5:03Speaker 4: international law. Well there is no Okay, take him to
- 5:06Speaker 4: the international law court, charge him with the international law.
- 5:10Speaker 4: You think there is actually such a thing doesn't actually exist.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Let's go to Joe and Staten Island. Joe, how you doing?
- 5:17Speaker 3: How you doing? First? I got a question about a
- 5:22Speaker 3: story I heard about Sinatra. Yes, there was his mother,
- 5:28Speaker 3: Sinatra's mother's birthday party, and he the mother asked Sinatra
- 5:33Speaker 3: to Rosella.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not true. For as far as I know,
- 5:38Speaker 4: there's no truth to that story.
- 5:40Speaker 3: And the story I heard was that he said yes,
- 5:43Speaker 3: but he wanted to get paid for it, right.
- 5:44Speaker 4: Or he refused or something, and he always said that's
- 5:46Speaker 4: the reason he was banned from w W. No truth
- 5:51Speaker 4: to that. No, it wasn't true. No truth. It's a
- 5:53Speaker 4: great myth and a great story. It didn't make any
- 5:57Speaker 4: sense because back in the early sixties, if Sinatra and
- 6:00Speaker 4: his mother wanted to put together an incredible gala, they
- 6:03Speaker 4: had the biggest stars in the world. What the hell
- 6:05Speaker 4: would they want Jimmy Roselli for Nobody knew them outside
- 6:07Speaker 4: of New York City, So it didn't it didn't make
- 6:09Speaker 4: any sense. But it was a great It was a
- 6:12Speaker 4: great gimmick. You know, if you ever have a just
- 6:15Speaker 4: tell somebody your band and that's why they won't play
- 6:17Speaker 4: you on this radio station, that's why you can't work
- 6:20Speaker 4: Las Vegas. It sounds great. It's better than saying, hey,
- 6:24Speaker 4: they wouldn't have played my records anyway. I'm not big
- 6:28Speaker 4: enough to get booked in Las Vegas. Anyway. Hey, speaking
- 6:30Speaker 4: of Las Vegas, the Eagles, you know, they're doing their
- 6:33Speaker 4: residency there. They've extended. This is the big thing now,
- 6:38Speaker 4: the residency of the Eagles. But they've extended. They put
- 6:41Speaker 4: in like ten more dates, and they're also implying saying
- 6:45Speaker 4: that you'd better come see us now because this is
- 6:47Speaker 4: it that they will never tour again. Obviously they're a huge, huge,
- 6:51Speaker 4: huge concert act, and it is possible this could be
- 6:55Speaker 4: the end, but you know, people do that. That's another
- 6:58Speaker 4: great mythic. The Barber's Dreisan retirement tour sold out immediately,
- 7:03Speaker 4: last chance to see her, but then it turned out
- 7:05Speaker 4: there were like eight more retirement tours after this. The
- 7:07Speaker 4: concert version like fourteen minutes that they got so many hits,
- 7:12Speaker 4: they sold so many albums. But the residency will be extended.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Whenever I hear Farewell tour, it means they'll be back
- 7:21Speaker 4: for years to come, so don't worry about it. Hey,
- 7:24Speaker 4: coming up, we'll talk to Steve More. We hope the
- 7:27Speaker 4: brilliant economist Steve Moore lots to talk to him about.
- 7:31Speaker 4: And we'll get to Ted Turner and a whole lot more.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Just ahead on seven to ten wor
