Latest / The Paul Barron Crypto Show / Ethereum ETF Reaches $1 Billion in First Day
Transcript
- 0:08Speaker 1: All right, guys, let's jump into it today. We're doing
- 0:09Speaker 1: an early live stream and of course this is post
- 0:12Speaker 1: ETF for Ethereum day, and we'll talk about a recap
- 0:15Speaker 1: here what's been happening and also what could this look
- 0:19Speaker 1: like in the near future for Ethereum. My name is Swelberon.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Welcome back in the tech path. All right, let's get
- 0:25Speaker 1: into it today. My voice is a little horse, but
- 0:27Speaker 1: we're gonna go with it and try to get going here.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I want to thank our sponsor, and that is Coinbase.
- 0:32Speaker 1: The future of money is here. If you're brand new
- 0:34Speaker 1: to crypto, and I think we're getting a lot of
- 0:36Speaker 1: new viewers. So first of all, thank you for coming
- 0:39Speaker 1: into the channel. Welcome and make sure by the way
- 0:42Speaker 1: and subscribe while you're here. But this is the place
- 0:45Speaker 1: to go for a you know, you're kind of your
- 0:48Speaker 1: centralized position of at least setting up your coinbase account,
- 0:51Speaker 1: getting your first crypto buy in. This is a great
- 0:54Speaker 1: spot to do it. Just visit coinbase dot com. The
- 0:56Speaker 1: futures money is here, most trusted place for people to buy, sell,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and use crypto. You can get up to two hundred
- 1:02Speaker 1: bucks in a crypto reward just by setting up using
- 1:05Speaker 1: our link down below, So make sure and use that
- 1:07Speaker 1: to get started, and you know, start slow, begin to
- 1:10Speaker 1: understand a little bit more, watch more videos, get educated
- 1:14Speaker 1: and start your trade journey. All right, let's get into
- 1:17Speaker 1: it today. A couple of things happening, of course with Ethereum.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Throughout we saw some of the volumes come in. I'm
- 1:23Speaker 1: gonna zoom in on this right here on Eric's tweet.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Day one in the books for eth a billion in volume,
- 1:31Speaker 1: which is pretty significant, twenty three percent of the spot
- 1:34Speaker 1: bitcoin etf on their first day, Etha did twenty five
- 1:37Speaker 1: percent of Ibit's volume. Pretty significant actually if you look
- 1:41Speaker 1: at that. But there's ethe with gray scale of course,
- 1:44Speaker 1: the big one. I think this will turn around much
- 1:47Speaker 1: faster for black Rock and Fidelity as they continue to
- 1:53Speaker 1: scale up in terms of inflow. I anticipate this first
- 1:56Speaker 1: seven days is going to be very interesting to watch.
- 1:58Speaker 1: This is a very key and credit time, especially as
- 2:02Speaker 1: we start to see some pressure on the S and
- 2:04Speaker 1: P and I'll talk about that in a second, because
- 2:07Speaker 1: there are some things happening over there within that. If
- 2:10Speaker 1: you look at the tracker, you guys can follow along.
- 2:13Speaker 1: There is one over on block works you can kind
- 2:15Speaker 1: of toggle between bitcoin an ethereum. It's a pretty cool
- 2:19Speaker 1: little tool tracking all of the current assets under management
- 2:22Speaker 1: and the volume. So check that out. You've got to
- 2:25Speaker 1: see some of the activity from bit wise, Volkyri, all
- 2:28Speaker 1: the different ones that are out there running within whether
- 2:32Speaker 1: it's a futures or a spot program, So you guys
- 2:34Speaker 1: can scan through all those, make sure and drop some
- 2:38Speaker 1: questions in Over on the side, we'll try to get
- 2:40Speaker 1: to as many as we can. I want to go
- 2:42Speaker 1: over to a few clips here. This is Eric Balshunis. Again.
- 2:46Speaker 1: If you don't know Eric, like I said, maybe you're
- 2:48Speaker 1: new to a channel. He's been on our show a
- 2:49Speaker 1: couple of times. He is one of the lead analysts
- 2:52Speaker 1: on ETFs of all type. Okay, so he looks at
- 2:54Speaker 1: every kind of ETF, not crypto, just every kind of ETF.
- 2:58Speaker 1: He and Jeff Sifer do a really job. And take
- 3:02Speaker 1: a look at this clip. I think this will kind
- 3:03Speaker 1: of give you a recap.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Solid is what I would go. I would say a
- 3:08Speaker 2: solid A maybe not an A plus. You know, our
- 3:11Speaker 2: prediction was that these things would take or do about
- 3:14Speaker 2: twenty percent of what the spot bitcoinyts did, and they
- 3:17Speaker 2: did twenty three percent. I would say, anybody who's an
- 3:20Speaker 2: ether person should be really happy with this. This is solid.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Twenty percent may seem like, well, you know, I'm a
- 3:29Speaker 2: little jealous, but the big twentyts was the biggest launch
- 3:32Speaker 2: ever and beyond normalcy, like almost like an anomaly in physics.
- 3:38Speaker 2: So it'd be like saying, hey, would you like twenty
- 3:42Speaker 2: percent of Bill Gates's worth a net worth? And you'd
- 3:44Speaker 2: be like, hell yeah. Compared to a normal launch. I mean,
- 3:47Speaker 2: these blew These blow everybody away.
- 3:50Speaker 1: All right. So the point to really understand here if
- 3:53Speaker 1: you're trying to really kind of fit the blocks in
- 3:57Speaker 1: their spot. You know, when you look at ETFs in general,
- 3:59Speaker 1: maybe you're a regular investor. Again, we don't give investment advice,
- 4:02Speaker 1: but we do a lot of analysis and news run up.
- 4:05Speaker 1: And one of the things that's interesting to me is
- 4:07Speaker 1: the fact that ethereum is still a very innovative technology
- 4:12Speaker 1: and a lot of people don't necessarily know about it.
- 4:14Speaker 1: But I believe we're going to see a lot of
- 4:17Speaker 1: quick studies now coming from the asset managers that are
- 4:21Speaker 1: in the space starting to learn about what ethereum is doing,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and the fact that it got twenty three percent of
- 4:26Speaker 1: what happened with bitcoin, the biggest one ever is super respectable.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I think Eric was actually downplaying in a little bit
- 4:32Speaker 1: more because I think that was very, very great in
- 4:36Speaker 1: terms of performance. Now what to watch for is kind
- 4:39Speaker 1: of the next thing. In the same interview they go
- 4:41Speaker 1: a little bit deeper on this. Listen to what he
- 4:43Speaker 1: had to say.
- 4:44Speaker 2: The other thing I'm looking for is just you know,
- 4:48Speaker 2: how the messaging plays out. I saw Bitwise's attempt at it.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I saw black rocks, you know ether to me, it
- 4:56Speaker 2: potentially has more angles you can approach it from. So
- 4:59Speaker 2: I'll be interest to see the marketing and how that
- 5:02Speaker 2: is different by issure. Again, this is such an interesting
- 5:06Speaker 2: case study analysts because you've got all these launching on
- 5:10Speaker 2: the same day, so you sort of have a lot
- 5:11Speaker 2: of variables removed and you can sort of then isolate
- 5:15Speaker 2: things like fees, but all the fees are the same,
- 5:17Speaker 2: so then you know, it really comes down to marketing
- 5:20Speaker 2: and hustle and size, and so it helps us get
- 5:22Speaker 2: some knowledge for like what works in the ETF market overall. So,
- 5:27Speaker 2: like I said, this is it's small relative to the
- 5:31Speaker 2: whole size of the ETF market. But is a very
- 5:34Speaker 2: useful case study for an analyst to monitor, so we
- 5:37Speaker 2: will look at all angles of it.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I think there's going to be a lot of you know,
- 5:42Speaker 1: aftermath on this, both on the analysis side, but also
- 5:46Speaker 1: in the predictive side in terms of where the asset
- 5:50Speaker 1: is going to be going, because you'll see in most cases,
- 5:53Speaker 1: as I said, you'll see a lot of marketing behind this.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You're going to see some strategic moves I think behind
- 5:58Speaker 1: some of the asset managers themselves that I think will
- 6:02Speaker 1: be key. And the thing if you look at the
- 6:05Speaker 1: ethereum chart right now and our poll out there for
- 6:08Speaker 1: some of you is looking at do we hit thirty
- 6:11Speaker 1: two hundred first from here or does eth run up
- 6:17Speaker 1: to thirty eight hundred, which would get us back into
- 6:19Speaker 1: almost the high for this particular season, not quite all time.
- 6:23Speaker 1: But do we get back in this thirty eight hundred
- 6:26Speaker 1: range or do we come back down in here into
- 6:28Speaker 1: this thirty two thirty hundred, Yeah, thirty two hundred range first?
- 6:32Speaker 1: Which one do you think is going to happen? Because
- 6:34Speaker 1: right now we're going a little bit sideways on ethereum.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I'd love to get you guys feedback a couple of
- 6:38Speaker 1: points right now we are using our MSI indicator. These
- 6:41Speaker 1: are great trailing stops that indicate on sentiment, and of
- 6:45Speaker 1: course we do a full sentiment analysis right here on
- 6:48Speaker 1: the four different markers we look at, which is the
- 6:51Speaker 1: overall trade volume and net and then the average. So
- 6:54Speaker 1: right now, looking bullish that we might see a little
- 6:58Speaker 1: bit of a move on Ethereum, I want you up.
- 7:00Speaker 1: And this is one of the things that remember with bitcoin,
- 7:03Speaker 1: we saw a little bit of pop and then a
- 7:04Speaker 1: downturn and then basically a skyrocket, which is what we
- 7:07Speaker 1: saw with Bitcoin after its ETF. I want to go
- 7:10Speaker 1: to a couple more clips here because this is Matt Hogan,
- 7:13Speaker 1: and Matt Hogan goes into bitwise, goes a little bit
- 7:16Speaker 1: into more impressions on what he thinks is going to
- 7:20Speaker 1: happen here from an outlook standpoint, take a look.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it's been an incredible reaction, to be honest, it's
- 7:25Speaker 3: exceeded my expectations. Through lunchtime, we had about half a
- 7:29Speaker 3: billion dollars traded in these new ETFs. By comparison, the
- 7:34Speaker 3: average ETF trades about a million dollars on its launch day,
- 7:37Speaker 3: So it's shaping up to be the second most successful
- 7:40Speaker 3: ETF launch of all time, after of course, the Bitcoin ETFs,
- 7:43Speaker 3: and we expect to see strong flows into ETHWW, the
- 7:48Speaker 3: bitwise Etheroryum ETF when we close out later today. Long term,
- 7:52Speaker 3: as we look into twenty twenty five, we've ventured the
- 7:55Speaker 3: ETF era of crypto. We're going to see ETFs on
- 7:58Speaker 3: multiple crypto assets, going to see index based ETFs. You've
- 8:02Speaker 3: already seen firms filing for Salana ETFs. The thing we've
- 8:06Speaker 3: learned from the Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF launches is that
- 8:10Speaker 3: ETFs work in this asset class. They lower costs, they
- 8:14Speaker 3: raise protections, and investors want them. I think we'll see
- 8:17Speaker 3: a wide array in the next year or two.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I think that's a huge statement coming from Hogan. He
- 8:23Speaker 1: understands the markets, and I think more importantly, he understands
- 8:26Speaker 1: kind of the mindset of major investors. And this could
- 8:30Speaker 1: come from private offices. What we'll see coming into the
- 8:33Speaker 1: market in terms of high networth individuals and a lot
- 8:36Speaker 1: of major asset managers in terms of their psyche and
- 8:39Speaker 1: how they present an asset class. And I think the
- 8:41Speaker 1: fact that we are going to see more ETFs coming
- 8:44Speaker 1: in on all sorts of crypto projects only strengthens the
- 8:48Speaker 1: market as a whole. He talks a little bit further
- 8:51Speaker 1: about why people would want anything outside of bitcoin and ethereum,
- 8:56Speaker 1: because many people would say, hey, that's really all you
- 8:58Speaker 1: really need, or is there some thing else here? Take
- 9:01Speaker 1: a look.
- 9:02Speaker 3: So I think the biggest reason they want additional assets
- 9:04Speaker 3: is just diversification. But there's also an element of these
- 9:07Speaker 3: smaller assets like Solana that have significant momentum, so there's
- 9:11Speaker 3: some that want to speculate on those individual assets. But
- 9:15Speaker 3: I think the big play for institutions, family offices, and
- 9:19Speaker 3: financial advisors is actually just owning the field, owning bitcoin,
- 9:23Speaker 3: owning ethereum, eventually owning other assets, maybe owning crypto equities.
- 9:28Speaker 3: They want to do the same thing they do in
- 9:30Speaker 3: stocks and bonds, which is diversify and own the asset.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Class simple investments guys, Diversification always a smart route. And
- 9:40Speaker 1: if you look at some of the investors, especially as
- 9:44Speaker 1: they start to venture into crypto, because this is going
- 9:47Speaker 1: to be new for a lot of people, so you
- 9:49Speaker 1: have to remember that that we're in the very early
- 9:51Speaker 1: stages of where this market, in this asset class could
- 9:54Speaker 1: be going. So it's going to be kind of a
- 9:57Speaker 1: tread into the water, figure out which one is the best,
- 10:00Speaker 1: look at the speculative type assets, whether it's Salona Avalanche,
- 10:04Speaker 1: many others that I think will make their way into ETFs,
- 10:07Speaker 1: and then starting to play the game. That's the typical
- 10:10Speaker 1: you know, mo of investors. Many people though, are asking, well,
- 10:13Speaker 1: why didn't eath run? You know, I've had many asset
- 10:16Speaker 1: managers that I talked to within my own circle. Had
- 10:18Speaker 1: a text with one of them last night. He and
- 10:20Speaker 1: I got back and forth on it. And he's not
- 10:23Speaker 1: a big air Ethereum fan, but I'll just leave it
- 10:25Speaker 1: at that. But he's he's out there giving the positions
- 10:27Speaker 1: why here's why the Ethereum asset itself didn't run. With
- 10:32Speaker 1: the ETF launch. A couple of points within this, there
- 10:36Speaker 1: was a chance that there was kind of this buy
- 10:38Speaker 1: the rumor and sell the news situation. That's typical of
- 10:42Speaker 1: almost any major event out there, whether it's crypto, you know,
- 10:46Speaker 1: s and P five hundred, doesn't matter, stock sponds, you
- 10:48Speaker 1: name it. If there's major events that are occurring, especially
- 10:52Speaker 1: if you look at things like even interest rates that
- 10:55Speaker 1: are going to be dropping, even inflation. When we look
- 10:58Speaker 1: at the CPI starting to adjust down. This is typical
- 11:01Speaker 1: of almost any out there. Many people probably looked at
- 11:04Speaker 1: this as a kind of selling the news position, and
- 11:08Speaker 1: if you look further into it, institutional inflows important. The
- 11:13Speaker 1: mood of the market as a whole still muted because
- 11:15Speaker 1: retail investors do not participate. That's the other factor we
- 11:18Speaker 1: haven't necessarily seen. Bitcoin suffered a similar fait before witnessing
- 11:21Speaker 1: a significant inflow and then recovering almost seven to seventy k,
- 11:25Speaker 1: which we saw pretty much happen right in front of us.
- 11:27Speaker 1: So a lot of things I think that are still
- 11:30Speaker 1: at play with Ethereum and whether or not we will
- 11:33Speaker 1: see a hard move up. Remember that it's all about
- 11:37Speaker 1: supply and demand, and supply right now for Ethereum is
- 11:40Speaker 1: quite a bit different than we've seen before on some
- 11:43Speaker 1: of these assets. So that's a big one to watch.
- 11:45Speaker 1: No forget to put some questions in over on the side,
- 11:48Speaker 1: and make sure and subscribe to the show. Today we
- 11:52Speaker 1: hit four point fifty yesterday four and fifty thousand subs.
- 11:55Speaker 1: We're going for the five hundred mark. We want to
- 11:58Speaker 1: thank all of you for of course being part of
- 12:00Speaker 1: the PBN family. So again big kidos to you guys,
- 12:03Speaker 1: because without you, we can't do any of this, So
- 12:05Speaker 1: thank you so much for that. I want to get
- 12:08Speaker 1: into a couple of points that hit the wires yesterday
- 12:12Speaker 1: and Bitcoin magazine reported this, and they did it I
- 12:15Speaker 1: think a little bit prematurely. I'm a little bit in
- 12:18Speaker 1: a quandary of why this was done this way. But
- 12:21Speaker 1: hear me out on this. But Kamala Harris decided not
- 12:24Speaker 1: to speak at the Bitcoin after they put out a
- 12:27Speaker 1: statement that she was coming the twenty forty for conference
- 12:31Speaker 1: in Nashville. This came in from CEO David Bailey, and
- 12:34Speaker 1: I look at this, and you know, I think about
- 12:37Speaker 1: you know, strategy and how businesses kind of move, and
- 12:40Speaker 1: in many cases campaigns do the same because every you
- 12:45Speaker 1: know thing that you do matters, especially when things are
- 12:48Speaker 1: coming out to the wire. So I think she would
- 12:50Speaker 1: have been ill prepared for an event like that, and
- 12:55Speaker 1: she was going into hostile territory where there was a
- 12:58Speaker 1: bit of an incumbent had kind of come in. So
- 13:02Speaker 1: in my opinion, it was probably a smart move on
- 13:04Speaker 1: her part and her team's part to step away from that.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I would love to see it, but I think it
- 13:10Speaker 1: was a smart move on the demcraft side to step away,
- 13:13Speaker 1: maybe reassess a little bit and see how to respond,
- 13:17Speaker 1: because right now they don't necessarily have a great track
- 13:20Speaker 1: record overall, and maybe this is an opportunity for them,
- 13:24Speaker 1: or they could screw it up completely and you still
- 13:28Speaker 1: lose in November if they don't understand that the crypto
- 13:31Speaker 1: vote matters. Here's Caitlin Long. Here's what she says, agreed.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Unless she'd announced that she'd already fired all the warrant
- 13:40Speaker 1: the warn heights in the federal agencies, basically Senator Warren
- 13:44Speaker 1: stuff who are still trying to kill us, to kill
- 13:47Speaker 1: the US crypto industry, she would have been booed heavily.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Kind of a weird Caitlin Long tweet there, But the
- 13:54Speaker 1: point is is that she's saying, Hey, there's a lot
- 13:55Speaker 1: of people that have a lot of animosities, especially in
- 13:58Speaker 1: the bitcoin community, against those who are on the anti
- 14:03Speaker 1: crypto army. And we've known about this for a long time.
- 14:06Speaker 1: You know, choke point two is a real thing. Yes,
- 14:09Speaker 1: there's been a lot of challenges, but I think I
- 14:12Speaker 1: feel you know, I'm not into big government, but I
- 14:16Speaker 1: feel like maybe there is a play that could benefit
- 14:21Speaker 1: government and the markets at the same time. I'm not
- 14:24Speaker 1: saying these are perfect, but at least if we get
- 14:27Speaker 1: to the level of where the rest of the world
- 14:29Speaker 1: is going, whether it's Mika, what's happening in Asia, that's
- 14:33Speaker 1: the main thing. Legislation will be part of that, but
- 14:35Speaker 1: it starts with the administration, and if the administration is
- 14:39Speaker 1: not behind it, then it's a problem. It's a problem
- 14:42Speaker 1: for our market. Democrats spent four years trying to destroy bitcoin.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I would say, yeah, probably true, Harris only wants to
- 14:49Speaker 1: speak at the Bitcoin conference because she's desperate to avoid
- 14:52Speaker 1: losing the election. I don't know that this is Again,
- 14:55Speaker 1: these are coming from a lot of people at the
- 14:57Speaker 1: Bitcoin conference, so just take that with a grain of salt.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I don't think that is the position of the Democrats,
- 15:02Speaker 1: and listen, I'm somewhat neutral, more conservative would say, but
- 15:07Speaker 1: I look at this as a strategy that the Democrats
- 15:10Speaker 1: have got to position. It's very early for them right now,
- 15:13Speaker 1: and I think they would do themselves really well if
- 15:17Speaker 1: they step back, get educated, get connected to some people
- 15:21Speaker 1: that can help them understand what's happening, because maybe the
- 15:25Speaker 1: step away from Biden's administration could be a good thing.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I'm not saying that's a good thing for crypto or
- 15:30Speaker 1: for the markets in general, but if they were to
- 15:33Speaker 1: come out on a positive note, I wouldn't do it now.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I'd do it much later in the campaign as it
- 15:40Speaker 1: nears the election, because you're going to need those extra
- 15:44Speaker 1: market pumps and winning those votes as you go down
- 15:48Speaker 1: the trail to November. So strategically, not a good move
- 15:52Speaker 1: would have been a bad move, I think, And you know, hey,
- 15:55Speaker 1: I coach a lot of companies on Advisor of how
- 15:58Speaker 1: to move on markets, what to release first, how to
- 16:02Speaker 1: maybe approach a bad situation or a good situation, and
- 16:06Speaker 1: I think they actually might have handled this well for
- 16:10Speaker 1: the current situation as it is right now. Cuban, though,
- 16:13Speaker 1: has saying that Harris's camp has reached out with multiple
- 16:17Speaker 1: questions about crypto. Now. There are a few tweets and
- 16:22Speaker 1: people talking about things that have been said, but I'm
- 16:24Speaker 1: getting multiple questions from her camps coming in from Mark Cuban.
- 16:28Speaker 1: He added that he did not know any other industry
- 16:30Speaker 1: leaders who had been receiving the inquiries.
- 16:34Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Mark's an interesting guy. Feedback is I'm getting, but certainly
- 16:37Speaker 1: not confirmed is that the VP says she'll be far
- 16:40Speaker 1: more open to business AI, crypto and government as a service.
- 16:47Speaker 1: This is something I think that would be interesting if
- 16:49Speaker 1: they start to really understand it further in the article,
- 16:52Speaker 1: it makes sense why Harris would maybe turn to crypto immediately.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Fair shake. Of course, they're watching these packs. I mean,
- 16:58Speaker 1: this is two hundred three million right now, so it's significant,
- 17:02Speaker 1: and she understands there's a huge voting block right now.
- 17:06Speaker 1: We're estimating somewhere around thirty one to thirty two million
- 17:09Speaker 1: voters in the United States that could be swayed on
- 17:13Speaker 1: a single issue such as crypto, and a lot of
- 17:16Speaker 1: these are younger voters, and I think this may turn
- 17:19Speaker 1: out the younger voter for the first time. So the
- 17:21Speaker 1: Harris camp is going to need to pay attention to
- 17:23Speaker 1: what is happening here and not be in a position
- 17:26Speaker 1: where they look like they're just following Trump's cues. So
- 17:31Speaker 1: this is a chess match happening right now in crypto
- 17:35Speaker 1: I think might be the game board. So a lot
- 17:37Speaker 1: of things happening. Kamala on crypto. How Biden's potential replacements
- 17:41Speaker 1: feel about bitcoin. Now, there's a lot of people within
- 17:45Speaker 1: the group. Now, I'll say within the group of the
- 17:48Speaker 1: Democratic Party that have not completely come over, but yet
- 17:52Speaker 1: at the same time, you have a handful that have
- 17:55Speaker 1: you think about Rocana who led the roundtable in DC
- 18:00Speaker 1: with top advisors. Those are the kind of things I
- 18:02Speaker 1: think that are a good thing, that is more bipartisan.
- 18:06Speaker 1: But multiple prominent crypto policymakers told the crypt that any
- 18:09Speaker 1: Biden replacement would mark a welcome change, and I think
- 18:12Speaker 1: I would agree with that. Harris also got a political
- 18:15Speaker 1: start by winning a race in twenty ten to become
- 18:16Speaker 1: district attorney in San Francisco, very tech friendly, so she's
- 18:20Speaker 1: familiar with these kinds of waters. Her assent was widely
- 18:25Speaker 1: viewed as a boom boon for tech companies in Silicon Valley.
- 18:29Speaker 1: And again I don't know her other politics other than
- 18:34Speaker 1: you know, I look at mostly where do you stand
- 18:36Speaker 1: on crypto? And that's kind of my position. Harris appears
- 18:39Speaker 1: to have, in fact, never made a public statement though
- 18:43Speaker 1: on the subject, so we may not have any real
- 18:45Speaker 1: awareness of where she is. Interesting thing right here is
- 18:50Speaker 1: that polymarket is becoming the real time, real time poll.
- 18:56Speaker 1: I think this may be the five point thirty eight
- 18:59Speaker 1: of our time if you guys remember by thirty eight
- 19:03Speaker 1: and the blog that was Nate Silver's name was Nate
- 19:05Speaker 1: Silver who antic or was basically predicting a lot of
- 19:08Speaker 1: what was happening in the twenty eight and twelve market
- 19:11Speaker 1: and elections very effectively. This may be the one. Well
- 19:16Speaker 1: guess what, guys, this is running right here within the
- 19:19Speaker 1: crypto markets over on polygons, so very interesting stuff. Notice
- 19:23Speaker 1: right here, though, I want to show you something. If
- 19:25Speaker 1: you come down here to the charts, I'll zoom in
- 19:28Speaker 1: on this. Look at this drop once that she well
- 19:32Speaker 1: she once the Bitcoin magazine announced that she wasn't coming,
- 19:36Speaker 1: if she was ever coming, that's the question mark. I have,
- 19:39Speaker 1: so thirty seven down to where it's trending right now,
- 19:42Speaker 1: which is around thirty three. So that's a that's a
- 19:44Speaker 1: pretty big drop in a short period of time, going
- 19:48Speaker 1: head to head here with Donald Trump right now on
- 19:51Speaker 1: the candidacy. So we'll see if this shifts more. We
- 19:56Speaker 1: are tracking. If you guys want to learn a little
- 19:57Speaker 1: bit more, we do kind of the same thing here,
- 19:59Speaker 1: not based on on betting, but based on sentiment, and
- 20:03Speaker 1: her numbers have been climbing. I'll see if I can
- 20:06Speaker 1: pull that up for you guys on this next clip.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I'll go to it and get it for you. Another
- 20:10Speaker 1: thing I want to hit on right here. This is
- 20:13Speaker 1: a biology talking about this perplexity. Now has polymarket when
- 20:17Speaker 1: you search for election ods. I think that's kind of cool.
- 20:19Speaker 1: This displays prediction markets more real time than any poll
- 20:23Speaker 1: and I would agree with that the polls are actually
- 20:26Speaker 1: behind now what we're seeing in poly market, So we
- 20:29Speaker 1: may get a lot more awareness of crypto. It's use
- 20:33Speaker 1: cases blockchain as a whole in a very positive way
- 20:36Speaker 1: for these prediction analysis granted if they're correct, because remember
- 20:42Speaker 1: this stuff needs to be right most of the time.
- 20:45Speaker 1: There are a handful that have been wrong over a bit,
- 20:48Speaker 1: but you can kind of see just the movement that
- 20:50Speaker 1: has been happening right there on this. I'm going to
- 20:53Speaker 1: go to another article here. I want to get into this.
- 20:56Speaker 1: This was a piece that is kind of interesting. It's
- 20:59Speaker 1: a little bit of a bonus topic around. Remember we've
- 21:02Speaker 1: had the securitized guys on here. This is the think
- 21:05Speaker 1: of it as the real world asset connection to Blackrock
- 21:08Speaker 1: for token is securities, and that's run on eth by
- 21:12Speaker 1: the way. So what's happening here is we're seeing a
- 21:15Speaker 1: little bit more of a shift of other potentials out there.
- 21:18Speaker 1: So you've got coin based asset manager plan or asset
- 21:20Speaker 1: management planning, tokenized money market fund, which is a very
- 21:23Speaker 1: hot area. After a Blackrocks Biddle success, which is what
- 21:26Speaker 1: we're talking about, Securitize launched that project known as Biddle.
- 21:30Speaker 1: You guys want to track it over to the RBA website,
- 21:33Speaker 1: you'll learn a little bit more about how it's flowing.
- 21:35Speaker 1: And just I think it hit five hundred million here
- 21:37Speaker 1: here recently, so not a bad move. Couple of points
- 21:40Speaker 1: within the article they're creating a tokenized money market fund
- 21:45Speaker 1: for Again, this is still familiar people familiar. So we
- 21:48Speaker 1: haven't seen a verification of this, but so it's an
- 21:50Speaker 1: RBA asset hot corner of the crypto market. Blackrocks tokenized there,
- 21:54Speaker 1: you haven't US Treasury's fund quickly grab five hundred mils.
- 21:57Speaker 1: So I think this is very early. And again remember
- 22:00Speaker 1: a lot of ethereum here do we get something now
- 22:03Speaker 1: on base that would be cool that just continues to
- 22:07Speaker 1: push into more market adoption. Here's poly trade right here.
- 22:11Speaker 1: We're thrilled to announce this. We'll be coming to Base
- 22:15Speaker 1: built on Coinbase one of the largest ethereum layer twos,
- 22:18Speaker 1: and soon RBA is on base. We'll find a home
- 22:21Speaker 1: on polytrade dot fine, so that'd be cool. We should
- 22:23Speaker 1: probably get the poly trade guys on the show. Don't
- 22:25Speaker 1: forget to put some questions in over on the side.
- 22:27Speaker 1: We'll try to get again to some of those. Here's
- 22:29Speaker 1: our website, your gateway to real world assets. I like
- 22:33Speaker 1: that this could be interesting, especially real estate. I like
- 22:37Speaker 1: the fact they're going into oh interesting collectibles, metals, precious metals,
- 22:41Speaker 1: real estate. We'll see if they go into bonds and
- 22:43Speaker 1: things of that nature. That would be helpful there as well.
- 22:46Speaker 1: A few more tweets here I want to hit on
- 22:49Speaker 1: Mountcox creditors now receiving bitcoin four hours ago, no significant
- 22:53Speaker 1: spike in the hourly spot. So bitcoin is weathering the
- 22:57Speaker 1: storm right now. If you look at the chart, let
- 22:59Speaker 1: me jump over to Bitcoin real quick, weathering the storm
- 23:03Speaker 1: sideways a little bit, but starting to get a little
- 23:05Speaker 1: bit of a correction right here, going up to sixty
- 23:07Speaker 1: six six on the day and right now a little
- 23:11Speaker 1: bit a little bit trending positive in terms of sentiment,
- 23:15Speaker 1: and if you look a little bit at the money
- 23:16Speaker 1: flow coming in not bad there Quarterer blocks still hovering
- 23:20Speaker 1: in around seventy can. I don't know if we'll get
- 23:21Speaker 1: there soon, but hey, we got some movement happening here
- 23:24Speaker 1: with bitcoin. What else do we have? Yeah, here we go.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Mag seven erased a combined four hundred and fifty billion
- 23:33Speaker 1: of market caps. So this is the thing that starts
- 23:37Speaker 1: to concern me. And when I look at these kinds
- 23:41Speaker 1: of moves and I was talking again, I was talking
- 23:44Speaker 1: about the asset manager last night, and he and his
- 23:47Speaker 1: team manage hundreds of millions and they're looking at this
- 23:52Speaker 1: position right now as probably one of the most dangerous
- 23:55Speaker 1: times in investing because of the shorts, even because of
- 23:59Speaker 1: the lungs that are probably going into play right now.
- 24:02Speaker 1: If you look at some of the heat maps that
- 24:03Speaker 1: are happening right now, volatility is getting worse. And he
- 24:07Speaker 1: basically said, we're getting into a position where we're going
- 24:09Speaker 1: to start getting much more cautious on our trades. And
- 24:12Speaker 1: what that tells me is that we could see asset
- 24:15Speaker 1: and liquidity look for some new potential opportunities. And if
- 24:20Speaker 1: crypto comes into the right time with a political landscape brewing,
- 24:25Speaker 1: that could be positive, still go negative too, could we
- 24:29Speaker 1: see a bit of a shift here in that S
- 24:32Speaker 1: and P versus crypto. I think that's the thing that
- 24:35Speaker 1: it's going to be very, very hot to watch for sure.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Let's see what else do we had. Oh, this is
- 24:43Speaker 1: a trend that one of the traders that we've had
- 24:46Speaker 1: here on the show. We're gonna try to get him
- 24:47Speaker 1: back on is theorizing around these hash ribbons. It's called
- 24:52Speaker 1: hash ribbon indicator. We've actually shown this before, but they
- 24:55Speaker 1: just flashed a bi signal on the daily chart. Now,
- 24:58Speaker 1: this is one that you don't see very often. It's
- 25:01Speaker 1: only happened a few times, and they are in a
- 25:04Speaker 1: position right now this again on bitcoin, So this could
- 25:07Speaker 1: be a run coming in on bitcoin. We'll see how
- 25:10Speaker 1: this plays out. I've got a clip from him that
- 25:12Speaker 1: explains a little bit more. Take a look.
- 25:14Speaker 4: The hush ribbons indicator has just flashed by signal on
- 25:20Speaker 4: the daily We've been waiting for this moment for months.
- 25:23Speaker 4: This signal in the past as of a massive performance
- 25:28Speaker 4: and it indicates that the miners may have completed their capitulation,
- 25:33Speaker 4: which is extremely bollish for the price of bitcoin, especially
- 25:36Speaker 4: considering that we are just below the all time high
- 25:40Speaker 4: so I wouldn't take a bisignal necessarily as an entry
- 25:44Speaker 4: to go with high leverage or anything like that, but
- 25:48Speaker 4: more as a sign that there is a recovery from
- 25:51Speaker 4: the miners. Hypothesis behind the hush ribbons by signal is
- 25:56Speaker 4: that if they have stopped to suffer and capito late
- 26:00Speaker 4: and sell bitcoin due to the stress of having to
- 26:04Speaker 4: mine that bitcoin under not ideal conditions, like for example,
- 26:08Speaker 4: they need to pay bills that are too expensive, and
- 26:11Speaker 4: then suddenly they start producing bitcoin and making good profits.
- 26:15Speaker 4: That typically indicates the health of the network. The hash
- 26:19Speaker 4: rate should go higher, the miners should be making money.
- 26:23Speaker 4: In summary, everybody's happy, and why shouldn't the price of
- 26:28Speaker 4: bitcoin reflect that.
- 26:31Speaker 1: You know, we've had the trading paird on before, and
- 26:34Speaker 1: he might be right here if you look at how
- 26:37Speaker 1: miners and the idea of capitulation, what this plays into
- 26:42Speaker 1: in the market strategies, and also how investors look at
- 26:46Speaker 1: their entry positions, and Bitcoin might be in that position
- 26:49Speaker 1: right now. So again, this is bitcoin we're talking about
- 26:53Speaker 1: mostly ethereum, but definitely want to keep an eye on
- 26:56Speaker 1: right now because it's all pressing positive. But then again,
- 26:59Speaker 1: if you look at it THEEUM. Right now, we are
- 27:02Speaker 1: in almost the same position, starting to go into a
- 27:05Speaker 1: positive zone right there. You can kind of see those
- 27:07Speaker 1: blocks down there on the on the chart. Don't forget
- 27:10Speaker 1: to forget to put some questions in over here. Let's
- 27:12Speaker 1: go to the poll real quick and see what the
- 27:14Speaker 1: poll says on eth All right, what happens first? Wow,
- 27:17Speaker 1: everybody's split on this, so but a little bit more
- 27:20Speaker 1: bullish going to thirty eight hundred. So if we do
- 27:22Speaker 1: get a run up here to thirty eight hundred, it'd
- 27:23Speaker 1: be a nice start. And I think this will give
- 27:26Speaker 1: us an indicator of the additional inflows on the ETF
- 27:31Speaker 1: if it does impact the regular market or not. So
- 27:35Speaker 1: we'll see, all right, Justin says, hey, hey, congrats on
- 27:39Speaker 1: the four fifty. Thank you, Justin appreciate that we're in
- 27:42Speaker 1: good shape. Solana dominance is moving. I like that payday
- 27:47Speaker 1: in five hours, Miguel, all right, let's go in. Sorry
- 27:52Speaker 1: I'm looking at the wrong cue, guys, Sorry, all right,
- 27:54Speaker 1: here we go. All right, So this means that Covey
- 27:58Speaker 1: stock pump, say, probably see some movement on coinbase just
- 28:01Speaker 1: because of what the markets could be doing. Anytime Bitcoin
- 28:05Speaker 1: pumps coinbase is going to pump with it, kind of
- 28:08Speaker 1: like micro Strategies. Kind of surprised that Eth didn't do
- 28:11Speaker 1: a dump after the news. That's true, it held up
- 28:13Speaker 1: quite well. But we'll a pump. That is the question. Man.
- 28:16Speaker 1: You guys are on the million dollar question right there.
- 28:18Speaker 1: David Crockett says Bitcoin conference is a bunch of politicians. Well,
- 28:23Speaker 1: are you talking about the conference of the people at
- 28:25Speaker 1: the conference? There are quite a few politicians that are there,
- 28:30Speaker 1: but I think any of them would would appreciate politics
- 28:33Speaker 1: because right now the polic listen. This is something that
- 28:36Speaker 1: a lot of people ask me, and I you know,
- 28:39Speaker 1: my response is pretty straight. Yes, politics and crypto intersect.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Now we didn't want it that way, but it has
- 28:48Speaker 1: become that way over the last couple of years. Regulation physicians,
- 28:52Speaker 1: from Democrats and Republicans. It just is. So there's no
- 28:56Speaker 1: way to talk about crypto without talking about politics unfortunately,
- 29:00Speaker 1: So just get used to it. It is going to
- 29:04Speaker 1: be one of those things that is always going to
- 29:06Speaker 1: come up. I think probably from here on out. We'll see,
- 29:08Speaker 1: hopefully it can detach away. We'll see if things starts
- 29:11Speaker 1: a simmer down. David Crux says Eth ETF doing better
- 29:15Speaker 1: than Bitcoin after launch bitcoin dump. Yes, that's true, that's
- 29:18Speaker 1: true that it dumped, But does it take that run
- 29:22Speaker 1: Because if you go to bitcoin and you look at
- 29:24Speaker 1: that ETF day, let's just go over here, guys, and
- 29:27Speaker 1: just so everybody remembers, that's the launch right there. So yeah,
- 29:31Speaker 1: there's the dump right there, that little zippo area, that's
- 29:36Speaker 1: where we saw a little bit of the dump over
- 29:37Speaker 1: about an eight nine day run. But come on, I mean,
- 29:41Speaker 1: look at that. That's that's crazy. If Bitcoin, if eth
- 29:44Speaker 1: gets even anywhere near this kind of craziness, we could
- 29:48Speaker 1: see some changes in the market pretty quickly. Phil c says,
- 29:51Speaker 1: Fox News said she would be there. David said she
- 29:55Speaker 1: was undecided. If she shows up, that's ballsy. If she
- 30:03Speaker 1: shows up, that's ballsy. I will say that ETF constant
- 30:07Speaker 1: long term by pressure. Totally agree with that. Sleigh says,
- 30:11Speaker 1: if they METF, we'll have a turtle move slow and steady.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Maybe let's see wonder as who else do we have?
- 30:19Speaker 1: Oh splod is back in the comments today, did Mountgox
- 30:22Speaker 1: have eth to distribute? Also, I don't know if they
- 30:24Speaker 1: had any significant amount of eth, but remember that a
- 30:28Speaker 1: lot of the eth is locked up, so I'm not
- 30:32Speaker 1: sure that was Would that even have been available at
- 30:35Speaker 1: that time? That's interesting, good question. I'd have to go
- 30:37Speaker 1: back and look at the dates.
- 30:38Speaker 2: All right.
- 30:39Speaker 1: If you guys are not in the Diamond Circle, get
- 30:40Speaker 1: in right now. By the way, we're gonna be doing
- 30:42Speaker 1: a We're gonna drop a nice wipe there, guys. Oh smooth,
- 30:46Speaker 1: I love that one.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Uh.
- 30:48Speaker 1: We're gonna be doing another interview today with twenty one Shares,
- 30:52Speaker 1: which is one of the eth Asset managers eth etf
- 30:55Speaker 1: Asset Managers. We're going to chance to kind of dive
- 30:57Speaker 1: in on that, so check in. We'll drop it a
- 30:59Speaker 1: little bit later. It's a recorded video, so we're gonna
- 31:02Speaker 1: be doing that. We'll try to get it out today
- 31:04Speaker 1: for you guys. Take a look at that, especially if
- 31:05Speaker 1: you're in the ether and covering all that. If you're
- 31:08Speaker 1: not in the Diamond Circle, get in now. It's a
- 31:09Speaker 1: great place to get additional content. We've got a community
- 31:12Speaker 1: over there that I can communicate with a lot within,
- 31:15Speaker 1: so it's good direct access to me. Jump into that
- 31:18Speaker 1: and of course follow me out there on X at
- 31:20Speaker 1: Paul Barren. We'll catch you next time. Right here, i'll
- 31:22Speaker 1: check that
