- 0:54Dash Comedy Club dot com. Raj, what's that phone number again? I
- 0:59know it's too on for eight one four nineteen eighty. Damn so close.
- 1:04I know two one four eight one for nineteen eighty for takeing info and all
- 1:11show information at the Dallas Comedy Club, your new home for funny NDFW the
- 1:19Dallas Comedy Club. Funny happens here and also additional fun before we get to
- 1:26treehouse fun is. Let me just take a sip of this coffee beverage here,
- 1:30none of this cup of the villa. I'm staying in right now a
- 1:36treehouse discount. I'm going to stay here. Can you when you're done taking
- 1:44a sip out of that beautiful cup. Can you move it a little closer
- 1:47to the camera this week? It's got a little bit of a glarus and
- 1:49yeah, the writing is reflective. Uh huh, that is the how do
- 1:53I say it? A poc capic. I'm gonna go with the capic Villas
- 1:57capic villas. Yeah. So if you want someplace nice to stay on Saint
- 2:02John, the United States Virgin Islands passport not needed, but it is recommended
- 2:09if you want to take some boat trips to the British Virgin Islands, the
- 2:13Kapok Villas kap Ok and they even have cups in your rooms that you can
- 2:19use. And if you ask really nicely, they might point out which house
- 2:25is Kenny Chesney's that you can see from the balcony here. Well, well,
- 2:30oh, very fancy. I'm a baller tray. I'm not sure you
- 2:38knew that. That's the first thing I think of in reality. So in
- 2:46North Texas, I used to be somebody I used to be on the radio
- 2:50and stuff, and people might occasionally recognize me and go, hey, aren't
- 2:53you Dan Lewis I say no, on the other Dan. But moving to
- 3:00the Virgin Islands, my wife is the big shot here. So she's the
- 3:04one that has the hookups to get us the place to stay, because technically,
- 3:07right now we're homeless. So whenever someone tells you kids not to follow
- 3:15your dreams because you may end up homeless, it might be true, but
- 3:23it may just be for a short period of time. I would also say,
- 3:25don't listen to my mom, much like Paul Newman raj. If your
- 3:34mom is having conversations with people, yeah they should listen. She's she's making
- 3:43a trick. So I'm doing that tongue in cheek. The reality is we
- 3:53own we own a house on Saint Thomas that we're renting out because we're moving
- 3:55to Saint John so Tara can be closer to her business and not spend have
- 4:00her life on a ferry going between the islands. So h we are just
- 4:04waiting for our next place to uh be finished getting ready for us to move
- 4:09in. So we're just, you know, we're just We're just in between
- 4:11places at the moment. Gotcha. It is an awkward time though, for
- 4:16my high school reunion, which is happening this weekend. So my excuse for
- 4:21not going has nothing to do with when someone says, so, where do
- 4:24you live? Now I'm like, well, technically I'm homeless, but hilarious.
- 4:29You're gonna see that they're gonna do some like weird white guilt fundraiser for
- 4:33you, like Reion he needs a home ready for Dan. You know he's
- 4:43what's that tray, Sarah McCall, it's going to be playing in the background.
- 4:47It's going to be me, muddy and wet, just looking sad as
- 4:51hell, Kenny Chesney's house behind you with a venmo QR code next to my
- 4:57face. For only two ninety a day, You too can save an O'Malley
- 5:03or you can just do it at patreon dot com slash treehouse on air.
- 5:09Nice, nice, well done. I believe me. I know how to
- 5:13I know how to slip in a plug. I did radio for you know,
- 5:15twenty four years in DFW. If you would have thrown in a Bible
- 5:18verse, you would have been like close to being a televangelist. I was
- 5:21like, yeah, that's my boy, John three sixteen. I typically forget
- 5:28what it is, but I know it for God so loved the world that
- 5:30he gave his only begotten sone for me. It's I always I always think
- 5:35wrongly that it's I can do anything through him. No, that's I think
- 5:41that's a different verse. Or I've just been on a button I saw at
- 5:44a at a rally somewhere, like how the Hindu guy just told you what
- 5:47that verse was. Hang on, I gotta take a sip of my coffee,
- 5:54of my Plugola coffee favorite flavor, capit Villas bringing you coffee since nineteen
- 6:00I'm surprised they haven't marketed that at the Eagle. What's that live in our
- 6:06studios? Plugola coffee. Plugola was our thing. You can only let them
- 6:16take so much from you tree. You may take the station, you may
- 6:21take the studio, but I'm taking all the Plugola with me. Well,
- 6:30clearly they found more. What is it John through sixteen? You can Oh,
- 6:39no, that's that's again. I'm thinking it was the I can do
- 6:42anything, like anything is possible through him. But no, that's the other
- 6:45one forgot so love. The youth that he gave has only begotten some.
- 6:46Yeah, it's pretty sad that you know that Raj better than I do.
- 6:50I know. That's a reason why, that's a reason why I've I've made
- 6:56I would have made an absolutely terrible Christians because I get all my Bible verses
- 6:59mix up. It's always impressive to me when someone's able like to spit out
- 7:02the memorized verses. Yeah. Well, especially when they do it with actual,
- 7:08you know, feeling and passion as opposed to just doing it because they
- 7:11happen to memorize it and they're just trying to make money. Yeah. I
- 7:13went to Christian school for Christian private school for a few years and they were
- 7:16like, you need to know these or we're going to paddle you. So
- 7:20that was that was the option. It's like it was like corporal punishment.
- 7:25Then. I remember they were like, they're like, well, you memorized
- 7:28your verses and the chapters and all that. Do you want to be saved?
- 7:30And I was like the second grade I think? And I was like
- 7:33from what especially if you see if they're asking that question with the paddle hanging
- 7:39over their shoulder, holy holding in her hand, Oh, then yes,
- 7:42you absolutely do want to be saved. So I said, can you can
- 7:46you call a mom because I don't think I go. I don't think I
- 7:48can make that decision without an adult. And they didn't have anything to say,
- 7:53so I got I got a free pass on that one. Never went
- 7:58back to that school after that. See, I think I would have survived
- 8:01that because had they said the same thing to me, because they kind of
- 8:05did, because I went to Catholic school for fourth and fifth grade, and
- 8:11had they had that same question for me, it would have been sort of
- 8:13like, and I see the paddle. I would then be judging the individual
- 8:18wielding the paddle and yes, engaging them next to my mother because if they
- 8:24look like they can't swing anywhere near that, my mother could then bring it
- 8:28on, like you beat me and beat me to the son goes down.
- 8:31I'll be fine. No, I grew up being being paddle conditioned by my
- 8:35mom. Yeah. If if we're going about like swinging technique, if I
- 8:39looked at that lady, I'm like, unless she was Babe Ruth, she
- 8:43wouldn't come close to my mom. My mom knew which way you would dodge.
- 8:52She knew to follow the curveball and dump it into right center. Yeah,
- 9:03but yeah, it is kind of a weird thing. I've got.
- 9:05The high school reunion is this weekend, and I hesitate to say which one
- 9:11it is, but I feel better about saying which one it is. On
- 9:15the other hand, because you two are older than I am so Yeah.
- 9:18I just had my thirtieth that I didn't go to, and this weekend is
- 9:22my twenty fifth, which I'm clearly not going to because I'm not even anywhere
- 9:24near Texas to attend it, let alone DFW. But it is a weird
- 9:33thing when you start hitting these milestone reunions because you start thinking, Wow,
- 9:39I'm old, and I feel old in my bones, but in that I
- 9:46still feel like I'm in my twenties somehow. Yeah. I talked about this
- 9:50on stage the other day. In my head, I'm twenty six and my
- 9:54body is about like with my knees and all that, I'm about seventy m
- 10:00but my but my brain goes, we can do we can still do stuff.
- 10:05And I'm like, and I talked to it, I'm like, what
- 10:07what can we do? Like? You want you want to jump jump?
- 10:09You want you want to play some pickup basketball? Do it? And then
- 10:11my body goes, don't listen to that son of a bitch. He will
- 10:16get us hurt. I had one of those moments yesterday when I bent down
- 10:20to try to pick up a box off the floor. Yeah, and I
- 10:24felt that spot in my low back that has been a problem ironically, Raj,
- 10:28since I was twenty six, uh and as soon as I started to
- 10:31lift it, I felt that spot in my back and I said, Nope,
- 10:35not going to happen. I knew, I knew. I knew the
- 10:39moment I was old when I my knee was hurting and I and I said,
- 10:41I think there might be rain today. When you start to trust your
- 10:48joints more than a meteorologist. Yeah, but it is a scientific thing.
- 10:54The barometric pressure in the air drops, and if you have any kind of
- 10:56arthritis or any kind of you know, bursiitists or whatever, it will act
- 11:00up because the pressure is I'm just saying, that's why. If that is
- 11:03true, then why doesn't Pete Delcas do the joint report like you can have
- 11:09the you can have the whatever special radars, you can have the you know,
- 11:13the the tornado truck or whatever it is that I forget that NBC five
- 11:18has when really all they need to do is just in an X ray machine
- 11:20de Rage's house and then we'll all know what's going to happen. I'm just
- 11:24saying, if you had, if you if you had the joint report on
- 11:28on the weather, you're gonna have a whole different demographic of people tuning in
- 11:33for the weather that day. Yeah, so like in like in DFW,
- 11:37the joint report might be kind of mixed between those with early onset osteoporosis and
- 11:41marijuana, whereas here where I am, the joint report would be a predominant
- 11:46marijuana based there. Like I see it out right over here right there,
- 11:52I see like four plants. Yeah, I would, I would pay.
- 11:56We have to do if one day we'll do another treeouse the and let's just
- 12:01all get high and read the news. I think you think that's how we
- 12:05do it already we should. That would be awesome. First of all,
- 12:13I'd love to see either one of you high. That's hilarious. Trade just
- 12:18seems to me like he would just get quiet. And then Dan seemed like
- 12:22you would just get the giggles. I did, so I did. I
- 12:26did smoke a little a few months back, nice and I had the giggles
- 12:31for about five ten minutes. Huh. But in Dan fashion, I can't
- 12:35do anything just a little bit. I have to I have to do the
- 12:39whole thing. So like I was like when I smoked, it was like,
- 12:43I'm not gonna smoke this one I'm gonna smoke that entire curtain. When
- 12:46I'm gonna drink, I'm gonna drink the entire drink. It seems odd to
- 12:48me to leave anything in the glass, especially if I paid for it.
- 12:52I'm gonna get my money's worth. And then and then the joint we got
- 12:56from Sam are are a weed guy, I say, are we got We
- 13:00bought from him once, but we know his name. So Sam gave us
- 13:03a joint, which is very well what we paid for. But we got
- 13:05the joint from Sam, and and I basically smoked all of it myself in
- 13:09about ten or twelve minutes. Oh no, yeah, so, uh I
- 13:13had the giggles for about ten minutes. Yeah, and then I was super
- 13:18sick for the next two three hours rookie Yeah yeah, uh yeah. My
- 13:28I watched my uh my ex wife od on marijuana. Uh. It was
- 13:33it was edible U or you know in California, and it's you go to
- 13:37a dispensary and they're very very powerful edibles. And we got a chocolate bar
- 13:41and it's clearly written on the bar. It says take one square wait,
- 13:48depending on your usage, wait thirty minutes to thirty minutes to an hour and
- 13:52fifteen minutes before it kicks it. So she takes the one square and I
- 13:58was like, all right, and I'm it and I'm just remember going through
- 14:01the apartment to do another stuff and I look over and she's cracked. I
- 14:03see her crack the second square and I was like, no, no,
- 14:07you have to wait. She's like, it's not working. I was like,
- 14:09but it's only been thirty minutes. It says thirty minutes, and it
- 14:11also says an hour and fifteen, so let's wait. Nope. She takes
- 14:16the next one right, so that the first one hasn't kicked in. She's
- 14:22now eating this one, and then I don't know what compelled the third and
- 14:26fourth one thirty minutes basically thirty minutes apart. So everything hit her and I
- 14:33just remember her. Thank god, our couch was where it was, but
- 14:35I remember her standing there and I look over and I'm pouring myself a drink
- 14:39and I look over and her eyes just glassed over, and I'm like,
- 14:43oh, and she falls on it, just eyes closed, falls on the
- 14:48couch and she woke up the next day. I think it was like fifteen
- 14:52sixteen hours later when she woke up and I was like, yeah, I've
- 14:56never seen anybody overdose on marijuana, but I think you are the first,
- 15:01the first case of it. So, but how did her joints feel?
- 15:09I'm just great till this day. I just think the next weather, you
- 15:16know, weatherman promotion, whatever it needs to be that you know Delcas is
- 15:20that committed to the getting the weather right. And then they go to a
- 15:24scene it's like from the Karate Kid and you got Delcas and then you know,
- 15:28bring back Dale Hanson and have him sweep the leg so you want the
- 15:39Okay, how does that work in us knowing what the weather is because that
- 15:43means joint Delcas will have bad joints and they'll be able to or reliably tell
- 15:46what weather's coming. God, I got it. I thought I thought they
- 15:50were just gonna get high and reenact the Karate Kid. I'm like, either
- 15:52way, the money and if anything's going to bring Dale Hanson out of retirement,
- 16:03you're in the tree house. Visit us online treehouseonair dot com. Let's
- 16:15get Rodney Anderson into the Treehouse. Now, his phone number that you will
- 16:18need to give him a call is nine S fifty two hundred the website.
- 16:22Good all, the time is Rodney Anderson dot com. So, Rodney,
- 16:25I wonder if you could do us a huge favorite, give us a bit
- 16:27of an update on the housing market and what sort of effect interest rates might
- 16:32be having on it. Still. Yeah, A couple of good pieces of
- 16:34information for buyers out there is parts of the Texas market are slowing a little
- 16:41bit, and that is good news for buyers because they've been competing against multiple
- 16:45offers lately. Now, if it's a dollhouse, if it's priced right,
- 16:48those houses are going quickly. But some areas are slowing down. And many
- 16:52of our borrowers that are working with us, they're getting some damn good deals
- 16:56on properties. One customer, for example, they looked at a house that
- 17:00was listed for seven ninety nine and they made an offer of seven forty and
- 17:03the seller said, hey, if you can close within two weeks, we'll
- 17:07sell you the house because they had already picked out another one and it was
- 17:11being built and so they needed to move. So that was a great thing.
- 17:15Now, I think interest rates are finally peaked here for a little bit.
- 17:18Now. I don't see big drops coming, but it's good that they're
- 17:21leveled off, and which is good news. And next year we see raches
- 17:23starting to move lower toward the middle of the year. Yeah, those are
- 17:27definitely some great signs in the housing market, especially if you're on the buying
- 17:32side, which means you need to give Rodney a call so you can take
- 17:34advantage of his expert knowledge and experience forty years in the industry. So give
- 17:38Rodney and it's very fine team of call ninety seven two nine eighty five fifty

- 19:37we get into birthdays because it is Friday, and into some really silly and
- 19:41stupid news, which is where we thrive. There was one thing you told
- 19:44me, Roz the other day that troubled me, and that was your high
- 19:49school reunion, which happened recently. Actually had an in memorium section at the
- 19:57twenty year. There was an in memory like there was a there were like
- 20:00the senior pictures of the people that have passed. Jesus, how many people
- 20:04from your class had already died? That it twenty years later, they're already
- 20:07doing an Oscar Worthy immemoriam. I think there were three. There were three
- 20:14or four at the twenty year, and there's been I think four more since.
- 20:22So this was if they would have had one this time, if there
- 20:23would have been any planning done for this one, which there was just not.
- 20:29It was so terribly I mean, I wasn't even there. And they
- 20:33had it in Mesquite at a place that used to be a feed store but
- 20:37is now the feeds to I'm not even making it up, burned down,
- 20:41and then they rebuilt and now it's a restaurant. It was outside outside with
- 20:47a fajita buffet, and I'm like, it was so bad really because it
- 20:51was ninety six that day. Oh now that okay, that is bad.
- 20:55Yeah, And so I'm like, nah, I'm good. And it was
- 20:59forty five by and it got you entrance into the heat, which I didn't
- 21:03think we needed an admission to do that. Uh. And then the buffet
- 21:07and there was no like it was a cash bar whatever like there was and
- 21:11they didn't do the But I think we've had seven or eight people pass.
- 21:17I think we had from my graduating class from lamar we had like I think
- 21:25very soon after graduation, I think there was a girl that that died.
- 21:29Uh. And then within a year there was a guy I knew who drowned
- 21:33in Lake Arlington, and that was that was a big deal because that was
- 21:36someone that everyone in you know, in the class knew. Yeah. But
- 21:41in everything that's been leading up to my twenty fifth reunion, which is you
- 21:44know, Saturday, I haven't seen anything that said, hey, if you
- 21:48know someone that's died, let us know so we can add them to the
- 21:49in memorium. I don't think we're having one of those just yet. Yeah.
- 21:52We had the we had the the their their senior picture frame and that
- 22:00handles around it for the twenty year. Uh. This the thirty like I
- 22:03said, it was at a feed store, so I don't know if even
- 22:06if they would have had it, I don't know if it'd been like their
- 22:07senior picture, like in a horseshoe. I don't know. I don't know
- 22:12how it worked, like propped up by bags of oats, just on bails.
- 22:22Hey, Rip didn't even bother to get a pin. They just stuck
- 22:30them in the baaling wire, just there. He always loved. Hey.
- 22:41It would be kind of it would be interesting. The only reason I think
- 22:44of this is because my high school mascot was Vikings. If if you got
- 22:48sent out, uh, the way that your high school mascot was so like,
- 22:53if it was for your high school reunion, you're like for us,
- 22:57your Vikings, they do a brief Viking funeral service for you. You know,
- 23:00you've got like Arlington set the arrow and it hits the boat and sets
- 23:04on fire, and it's all very symbolic. Yeah, but what was your
- 23:07What was your mascot? Again? It would have been horrible. Would be
- 23:11the pirates, So I think we would have just I don't know if you,
- 23:17I don't know how you would do. I don't know what a pirate
- 23:18funeral looks like, but I can just imagine there's just a lot of a
- 23:22lot of pillaging, a lot of pillaging, a lot of a lot of
- 23:25drunk people pillaging. Yeah, mine could eat be even worse because it was
- 23:30the Scots. I uh, I feel like now it's the proper time that
- 23:41we should just skip to birthdays whole group of people before we offend an entire
- 23:49country. It would really suck though, if your mascot was the Bears.
- 24:02All right, today is Fridday, November. God ready in November, November
- 24:07third, twenty twenty three birthdays today. I believe she is a Is this
- 24:14the one that's the billionaire now, Kindle Jenner from the Kardashian clan. She
- 24:18turns twenty eight today. Yep, she is the billionaire of the family.
- 24:22Yeah, she is the one that I would imagine birthdays to Kindle Jinner have
- 24:26to be extra momentous because I forget which birthday of hers. It was sixteen
- 24:30or seventeen, maybe eighteen when she got her new face. And when you
- 24:37know, like in so many other families, you know, they'll they'll betrothed
- 24:41something or give you something that's important to the family. It could be,
- 24:45you know, some sort of a family heirloom. It could be Grandpa's watch.
- 24:49It might be you know, Mom's wedding band, the Kardashians gives you
- 24:53your face, Yes, so you can start your branding empire. Yes,
- 25:00or you know, or Kim's hand Me Down ass implant. I thought you
- 25:06were going to say Kim's how to Porn Manual. I mean, I think
- 25:11Mom wrote that. That's true. That's from Mom. Yeah it is.
- 25:15It is Kendall Jenner, so she could have gotten you know, Dad's evening
- 25:18gown. I don't know how it worked. It's really not stated enough.
- 25:25How giving of a family. And here's your first rapper. Were talking about
- 25:36Taiga or what I'd be Black China. Don't be silly. That's your twenty
- 25:47first birthday, Black China. Now you have to wait till you're twenty five
- 25:52before you get your first athlete because other birthdays. Today. Colin Kaepernick,
- 25:57still looking for an NFL job, is thirty six today. He actually his
- 26:02agents and his team whatever were after Aaron Rodgers went down. They were saying,
- 26:06hey, you know, our boy Colin's still available even though he hasn't
- 26:10played in forever. I know, I you know, I for whatever.
- 26:15I hope he he won't. But I hope he will laying the gig because
- 26:19he's still working out. He's still staying in shape. He's still every day
- 26:23doing the NFL protocol for a quarterback workout. So is there anyone that truly
- 26:30believes in their heart of hearts that Colin Kaepernick was not blackballed? Oh of
- 26:36course he was. Because you can agree. You can disagree with the political
- 26:38stances that he took, and god knows I disagreed with a couple of them
- 26:42and the ways in which he went about them. But the NFL, the
- 26:48owners, they absolutely you know, they did it, but they're very smart
- 26:51about it. You know, they absolutely said we're not hiring that guy,
- 26:55We're not bringing him in, and they just do a really good job of,
- 26:59you know, not putting in and writing. All he just got all
- 27:00he has to do is to get a job back in the NFL. Is
- 27:03just going some kind of weird roid rage and punch a chick, uh and
- 27:07then the shield flies open for him. Yeah, that's what they'll do,
- 27:14don't They don't mind it. You can take no political stance, but domestic
- 27:17violence is okay, that's what That's what basically the NFL says, Uh,
- 27:22stay time and again, you're not wrong. I mean there's there's there are
- 27:23many many cases that prove that. I used to There was one year that
- 27:27the Cowboys, I was like, what is this the longest yard? Like
- 27:30how many felons we have? You know what? Though, I think that
- 27:34was that was an interesting phase that Jerry Jones went through. He was like,
- 27:37you know what, maybe we do have too many nice guys on the
- 27:40team. Maybe we do need to, as they say, get some dogs
- 27:42in here. Let's just turn this into a halfway house for paroleas. And
- 27:48it still didn't win. So what was the what was the one he was
- 27:56like a defensive lineman and he was hardy. Yeah, this one where there
- 28:00was the video of him throwing his girlfriend in domestic violence assault allegation in him
- 28:06throwing her down on his bed full of weapons. Yeah, and I think
- 28:10he fought an MMA match. I think he got laid out in like ten
- 28:12seconds. I believe that's at least partially correct. And then what was what
- 28:18was the guy in the elevator who was on Ray Rice? Yeah? And
- 28:22then Tyreek Hill. I mean, like you name it. You lose count
- 28:26of all those throughout the years, but you can't say the Cowboys. Haven't
- 28:32tried the Cowboys the corrections department. They both kind of You know what,
- 28:41when you're trying to win a Super Bowl, you leave no rock unturned.
- 28:47You gotta find talent anywhere you can. No pistol unwhipped online A treehouse on

- 29:37Daniel, you a baseball fan? Did you watch the Rangers win? Dan?
- 29:40That was a fantastic series. I had so much fun watching them finally
- 29:45become the team that we've all been dreaming them to be. It's been fantastic.
- 29:48It was really as it's a dream come true. And I've been trying
- 29:52to relay this to people how how special it truly was. You know,
- 29:56fifty two seasons as the Rangers and then sixty three is a to little franchise
- 30:00finally getting one, and man, it feels really really good. I'm still
- 30:04I'm still in my in my sports emotions about it. Yeah, no,
- 30:08it was. It was fantastic. I can't remember. Well, actually it's
- 30:11been a while. It's like watching the Cowboys, you're wondering when's the next
- 30:15championship they're ever gonna have, And so now that the Rangers has finally done
- 30:18it, you're like, Okay, that's one more hurdle that we've overcome as
- 30:21a Metroplex. And I was just telling carry last night, like, this
- 30:25is this is it. This is the megasports Now I have seen in my
- 30:27lifetime the Cowboys, the Mavericks, the Stars, and now the Rangers all
- 30:33win a world championship in their rightful sports. So I'm you know, I
- 30:37am too. I am absolutely tickled myself as a DFOW sports fan. But
- 30:41to be all honest with you, of the four major sports teams, they're
- 30:44all still kind of in the shadow of the Dallas Sidekicks. I think they
- 30:48have more championships and nobody even been there a game more than likely. No,
- 30:55I'm not even sure if they're still around all right, speaking is still
- 30:56around. Cook the FW Roofing and Restoration is home base in North Texas,

- 31:40a new water heater. He called me and said, hey, can you
- 31:42just price this for me? He didn't tell me who he was though in
- 31:45advance, and so I was like, yeah, you know, it's this
- 31:48much amount of money to do it, and he said, well, I
- 31:49also want a floodstop, which is something that basically prevents it from bursting and
- 31:53raining in your house. If it's in your attic, or flooding the kitchen
- 31:56if it's off the kitchen. And he also wants to a new shut off
- 32:00valve because he knew that the other one wasn't working. And I said,
- 32:02yeah, no big deal. Let me get your email from you. I'll
- 32:05type it out, I'll email it to you. And I emailed it to
- 32:07him and text it to him and he was like, oh, hey,

- 32:45all out of monkeys, monkeys in the treehouse. It's actually not bad treehouse.
- 32:49Monkeys, monkeys in the barrel. Yeah, tree something, There's got
- 32:52to be something that dwells in a tree. Like all the women can be
- 32:54birds, and all the men's can men's, all the men's can be monkeys.
- 32:59What about what about the people in between? Are they like bird flying
- 33:04monkeys? They can be flying monkeys like the now you're just now, you're

- 33:52want to do a couple more birthdays and then do some stupid news. Yeah,
- 33:57yeah, all right, let's do it. Did you get to fade
- 34:01that bad boy out and bring this one up there where you go? And
- 34:06that's how it works? Other birthdays today on Friday, November third, twenty
- 34:10twenty three, we've already gone through Kendall Jenner twenty eight, Colin Kaepernick thirty
- 34:15six, Dolph Lundren. So we have a big leap here, thirty year
- 34:20leap of celebrities. Dolph Lundren turned sixty six today. Wow, as Ivan
- 34:28Drago in the Rocky universe. Because didn't they when they Wars and the Fast
- 34:35and the Fury Is and Lord of the Rings. It's its own. The
- 34:37Rocky Verse is a thing. But is didn't they when they made the first
- 34:42time they tried to make the Punisher movie? Wasn't he the first one hundred
- 34:49back in the day. I don't know. I think so. I think
- 34:52I think he was. But he is the gift that Mit gave us.
- 34:57If you know the story, he's a genius, like legitimately mensa genius.
- 35:02And he was on his way to Mit and stopped in La to visit a
- 35:06buddy from I believe he's from Sweden and stopped to visit a buddy in La
- 35:13on his way to his pursuing his academics at MIT and was spotted by a
- 35:19talent agent and the rest is rocky for history. It really is. It's
- 35:23a classic Hollywood story where a Hollywood agent guy sees his six foot six,
- 35:28blonde, muscular adonis and goes, hey, so you gotta put you in
- 35:31the big picture? Is he's look almost break you. That's exactly the line
- 35:37I need. And the next thing, come on, kid, I make
- 35:39you stop. I don't know why this guy is from the nineteen twenties.
- 35:44Uh? Is that one of the plots of the of one of the Creed
- 35:49movies? Is that like his son? Yeah? I believe so, because
- 35:52now full disclosure here, I've only seen the first Creed, which was really
- 35:58good, and I have every intention of seeing the next two. But yeah,
- 36:00I mean I think that's what it was, wasn't it. It just
- 36:02you had Apollo's son and now he's going to face off of you know,
- 36:07Drago's kid. Well that was the last movie. That's the last movie.
- 36:09That's the one that Stallone's not in, right, Yeah, yeah, I
- 36:15know that Dolph Lundgren was in obviously Rocky four, and I know it says
- 36:20that he was in Creed two. I'm not sure if there was what the
- 36:22third plot was, Okay, because which one's the one Stallone's not in.
- 36:29That's when you're thinking Rocky five, which was still he was in Rocky five.
- 36:32Sorry, I was thinking Michael B. Jordan took over the basically the
- 36:37Creed franchise, I know. I know. One of the reasons why he
- 36:42went in the third one is evidently now I'm drawing a blank on his name,
- 36:45the one that was Michael B. Johnson's opponent that got in trouble for
- 36:50domestic violence. Yes, Jonathan Majors. Yeah, Stallone would not work with
- 36:55him. Oh, interesting because it was it was posed to him. Hey,
- 37:00hey, now that Jonathan Majors isn't part of the franchise, do you
- 37:01mean would you go back to it? And he goes, yeah, okay,
- 37:05that's maybe that's what it was. I know that when because he wrote
- 37:08the first he wrote the Creed movies as well. H just the load and
- 37:12this one, the third one with the brother, he did not write,
- 37:15and he did not like the angle that it was going so and then I
- 37:17guess on top of that he didn't like that actor. But yeah, Dolph
- 37:21Lundgren's great in the expendables. Uh, they're every single one of them.
- 37:24He's fantastic and good for him. That's a great career resurgence because much like
- 37:30William Zabka, like, he was just a bad guy always and everything.
- 37:34And so I know they tried to do that character rebrand with him. I
- 37:37think he was the first Punisher and they tried to do a little character rebrand
- 37:42for him, and it didn't work, and I think he just kind of
- 37:45went off the grid. I think he was just doing like basically comic cons
- 37:49and stuff like that for the long I don't think. I don't think it's
- 37:51possible for Dolph gunn for Dolph Lundgren to go off at any grid. He's
- 37:54so big and he was the first punisher when you type in who was the
- 37:59first punish your movie Dolph Lunger in two thousand and four see not just a
- 38:04hat wrack. Yeah, and uh, and I that was a kind of
- 38:07a rebrand for him, Yeah, because we're trying to get him into that
- 38:12into that universe, that comic book like universe or whatever, and I don't
- 38:15think it worked. I think one of the great ironies. Like you mentioned,
- 38:19he was great in The Expendables. To me, the Expendables movies are
- 38:23obviously it's just action porn fan service to action film lovers, because it's all
- 38:29your favorite guys from all these different action films doing actiony things with minimal storyline
- 38:34to get in the way of the explosions and the fights and things. But
- 38:37it's also one of those few franchises that in the film they could literally have
- 38:43one of their characters jump a shark and it would still be cool. Yeah,
- 38:46it would. It would be true in the Expendables movies, and absolutely
- 38:51if it hasn't already happened in The Fast and the Furious movies. Yeah,
- 38:53because like London would jump the shark and then punch it and it would it
- 38:59would die, and then he would just go Apollo and then just keep and
- 39:02then just keep jumping like it would. It would be spectacular and still be
- 39:07like cut It would be great. But I can't wait for the is there
- 39:10a Rocky Is this right because I saw a poster for this or is it
- 39:15just like that Rocky universe doing it like Rocky seven? One more fight.
- 39:19Is that? I thought that was the I thought that was the premise of
- 39:22Rocky six, like each film is one last time. It's kind of like
- 39:27it's kind of like the Eagles or or Kiss saying this is our last tour.
- 39:31Okay, yeah, I keep seeing posters for it. I thought stallone
- 39:38and said he is retired Rocky and Rambo, Uh is there Rocky franchise producer.
- 39:45Uh, has not happened yet. It's due to complications from the franchise
- 39:52producer. But it is on hold. And okay, so it's something that
- 39:54is a maybe. I mean, at some point it's just gonna end up,
- 39:59you know, like Rocky grand kids fighting Drago's grand kids, and the
- 40:01story will continue in perpetuity. Yes, okay, so I think it's supposed
- 40:07to be one one more fight. I'm like, how many? Didn't he
- 40:09have brain cancer in one? Like in one? Yeah, but I think
- 40:15it got punched out of him. That would have been great for Schwarzenegger to
- 40:22be in that movie, just to read, just to bring back that line
- 40:24where he punches Rocky's tumors not and it's actually a two on one fight,
- 40:32so it's Rocky versus you know, Ivandrago and the Terminator, Rocky Cancer Puncher.
- 40:51I hope it's not Rectel and that show. No news for you.
- 41:09Yeah, I know, uh, I know certain corners of the internet tree
- 41:13where you can find exactly that. You've really got to be careful when you're
- 41:19doing Eagles research. You type in tush push on the rockways. Oh that
- 41:29is good. There's a pungeline. It keeps on giving. All right,
