[SPEAKER_03]: You know, big son, you know, Chad, you know, it's amazing.
• 1:41
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I mean, that run to the podium when they win a game, right?
• 1:45
[SPEAKER_03]: And then when they're team loses a game, you know, they go out the back door.
• 1:49
  [SPEAKER_03]: Can't find them.
• 1:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: Can't find them.
• 1:50
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, all that, you know, remember that Pittsburgh bling and Jersey's and shit he was wearing, you know, all that special talk.
• 1:56
[SPEAKER_03]: He was talking about it.
• 1:57
[SPEAKER_03]: They'll be in the playoffs.
• 1:59
  [SPEAKER_03]: One and done.
• 1:59
[SPEAKER_03]: Now that they're into Bahamas like we are, right?
• 2:02
  [SPEAKER_03]: Can't find it.
• 2:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Is it the Bahamas is a cancun that seems like cancun Well, yeah, nowadays with these guys, and who knows where it Turks and Kiko, who knows the hell these guys go.
• 2:11
[SPEAKER_03]: Our budget was Bahama budget, their budget is a little different than ours, it's definitely a lot different than mine.
• 2:19
[SPEAKER_01]: It's certainly a lot different than mine.
• 2:21
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, the people that might let you ride would have no big Seth.
• 2:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I definitely have had a sat shotgun a few times.
• 2:29
  [SPEAKER_01]: There's some good ones.
• 2:30
[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, it's an interesting time right now for our Miami Dolphins.
• 2:41
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, good.
• 2:42
  [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't give you a great.
• 2:43
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but maybe by the end of the night, it will be great.
• 2:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Represent, represent, saw some good football this weekend.
• 2:48
[SPEAKER_01]: We may or may not talk about it, but it's not the Miami Dolphins.
• 2:51
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how much we care, but the coaching search is on.
• 2:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's in full effect.
• 2:56
[SPEAKER_01]: We got through the general manager piece.
• 2:58
[SPEAKER_01]: We've come to find out that Troy Ackon must have done a good enough job at the general manager as a consultant and finding the general manager that he's now staying on board along with Demerino, along with Tom Garfink, along with Brandon Shore.
• 3:13
[SPEAKER_01]: And I guess now, right, John Erick Sullivan, I would hope is going to be a part of the process.
• 3:19
[SPEAKER_01]: and evaluating who the head coach should be, maybe he should even be leading it, given his title of General Manager.
• 3:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
• 3:24
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll look at the Bimmany budget.
• 3:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Say I'm in the house with the Bimmany budget.
• 3:27
  [SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
• 3:29
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 3:29
  [SPEAKER_01]: You could.
• 3:30
[SPEAKER_03]: Bimmany's, you know, how many times you've been across the pond, uh, safford that on that yacht, when JT's 99 foot, yeah.
• 3:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: I never did Bimmany.
• 3:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I never did Bimmany, but in the old days, I definitely got my, uh, my sea legs on the yacht.
• 3:44
[SPEAKER_01]: It was not the work thing in the world.
• 3:45
  [SPEAKER_01]: The 99 footer.
• 3:47
[SPEAKER_01]: Terry Alexander wants to know juicer you're gonna be the new head coach.
• 3:51
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the head coach about my whistle ball blast team.
• 3:53
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's right
• 3:55
[SPEAKER_01]: And that team's not complete.
• 3:57
[SPEAKER_01]: You're drinking, you're taking it three times.
• 3:59
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, I'm gonna tell you before we get into all the important stuff, man, which this is very important.
• 4:05
  [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
• 4:06
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, my guys are wrestling their laurels, big Seth.
• 4:09
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, we've got some champion shifts.
• 4:10
[SPEAKER_03]: They've got some rings and trophies at home.
• 4:13
[SPEAKER_03]: And they're trying to like, stay that way, man.
• 4:15
[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, they don't want to come out there and compete, man.
• 4:17
[SPEAKER_03]: And if dudes don't want to compete, Seth, I don't want them in my fucking home on your squad.
• 4:21
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want them in my squad, man.
• 4:22
  [SPEAKER_03]: I'm listening.
• 4:23
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 4:25
[SPEAKER_01]: So I need to share this story.
• 4:26
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's a story that I talk about a lot with Jews.
• 4:29
[SPEAKER_01]: But when we start talking about competitors, we might need to get Sam on here live with us soon to just to sing this verse right here this.
• 4:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's Bob Jovey.
• 4:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: Where's our guy, Bobby?
• 4:40
  [SPEAKER_01]: And anyway, so...
• 4:43
[SPEAKER_01]: In the old days, what was it Tuesday nights?
• 4:45
  [SPEAKER_01]: What night was Bowling?
• 4:46
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the night Saturday morning Wednesday.
• 4:48
[SPEAKER_01]: But this was Wednesday night and juice would take.
• 4:51
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
• 4:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Your crew was like 10 lanes at least and Oh, for Bowling.
• 4:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: For Bowling.
• 4:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 4:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: You're talking about the ball-up.
• 4:58
[SPEAKER_01]: Bowling was Tuesday night, right?
• 5:00
  [SPEAKER_01]: So up to these.
• 5:01
[SPEAKER_01]: Tour up Tuesdays and so everybody would be out there and you and Kejana and you guys would time You're you know, everyone would throw the first ball at the same time and and you're very competitive Boller if you follow this show you have heard that not only did Ojemic Duffy believe the league and receptions He also has bold a perfect game I don't know how many guys can say that they've done that Can we put the wifful wall trophy in the dolphins locker so they get wow wow Sam swing it from the fence is there
• 5:30
  [SPEAKER_01]: And O.J.
• 5:31
  [SPEAKER_01]: got really competitive, Savak.
• 5:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: You got really competitive.
• 5:34
[SPEAKER_01]: And his mom, who, you know, O.J.
• 5:37
[SPEAKER_01]: and mom, they were not only an amazing mother and son team, but they were the best of friends.
• 5:42
[SPEAKER_01]: And mom was like, O.J., like, why are you still getting so competitive?
• 5:46
[SPEAKER_01]: We're just out here having fun, you know?
• 5:48
[SPEAKER_01]: It just said, and juice stopped in the middle of the game and lost his day of mind.
• 5:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: Everything's about competition.
• 5:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Mom, every effort and things about competition.
• 5:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Who got the best girl?
• 6:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Who's got the best shoes?
• 6:01
[SPEAKER_01]: Who got the best car?
• 6:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Everything you played a win if you ain't playing a win?
• 6:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Get your ass out of here at it and eat it and like the whole bowling alley got quiet.
• 6:10
[SPEAKER_01]: And everybody learned like if you're out there and like you were having fun, right?
• 6:14
[SPEAKER_01]: The only way we're really having fun is if we're playing the win.
• 6:17
[SPEAKER_03]: So if you compete, man, you say, my mom, honestly, you know, my mom, like you talked about big steps.
• 6:23
[SPEAKER_03]: You kept stats for all the bowling all like we weren't in a league.
• 6:27
[SPEAKER_03]: We were in our own league, the league of our own, you know what I mean?
• 6:29
  [SPEAKER_03]: Where it is.
• 6:30
[SPEAKER_03]: She kept all the stats.
• 6:31
[SPEAKER_03]: Every, I've got the binders.
• 6:33
[SPEAKER_03]: We got binders of Tuesday night.
• 6:35
[SPEAKER_03]: I've got three to stats.
• 6:36
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, tore up bowling.
• 6:37
[SPEAKER_03]: So at the end of year, we'd have one of the wards there, moody, you know?
• 6:41
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, we gave out trophies as like it was like, you know, you know, the honors program for us.
• 6:47
[SPEAKER_03]: So you got, you know, high game had a trophy, high women's game had a trophy, high average had a trophy.
• 6:53
[SPEAKER_03]: And then kind of like, you know, we're going to three points systems with us.
• 6:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Three points system for us is how many wins do you have?
• 6:59
[SPEAKER_03]: So you got there on a Tuesday night to three points system.
• 7:03
[SPEAKER_03]: How many wins do you get?
• 7:04
[SPEAKER_03]: do you have the high game and then after that we go high average for the day you know a means you could you could run out of there with three points if you if you ball and you know so hell I was always trying to get least three points man at least so my mom kept all those stats we had you know a awards ceremony at the end and somewhere in stories I got a few bowling trophies man that I would have never gotten because I had never been in a league but look it up
• 7:30
  [SPEAKER_01]: the perfect game.
• 7:32
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's a real thing.
• 7:33
[SPEAKER_01]: And well, can we talk about the 299s?
• 7:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: We won't do that.
• 7:37
[SPEAKER_01]: So Louis Diaz says, too.
• 7:39
[SPEAKER_01]: Look, that's fucked up, big set.
• 7:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Go ahead, talk about them, man.
• 7:42
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, there's a mom kept stats.
• 7:45
[SPEAKER_01]: How does she not expect these exactly?
• 7:48
[SPEAKER_01]: She raised me to compete, and as you won't talk about it here.
• 7:51
  [SPEAKER_01]: Right, there it is.
• 7:53
[SPEAKER_01]: So speaking of competing, the Miami Dolphins are in a full-blown competition for coaches.
• 7:57
[SPEAKER_01]: It is fascinating, one of my favorite words, to watch the carousel of these coaching interviews.
• 8:04
[SPEAKER_01]: And so they've conducted a few interviews.
• 8:06
[SPEAKER_01]: Who are you, you're just giving to me, the three that they've conducted so far.
• 8:10
  [SPEAKER_01]: Kubiak, right?
• 8:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Guys who are still coaching.
• 8:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
• 8:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Who real quick you say I want to know which teammate was the best bowler you were the best bowler, but which teammate was second Let's see The more Thomas is pretty good Terry Kirby's probably the next best.
• 8:26
[SPEAKER_01]: He can he's good at like everything Yeah, he's a health and athlete man.
• 8:30
[SPEAKER_03]: You ever seen nothing like hunts hogs and shit Maybe those all kinds of no haven't seen the hog hunting
• 8:35
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he's a wild boy, but yeah, he's a health and athlete man.
• 8:38
[SPEAKER_03]: We saw him in the basketball court.
• 8:40
[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously saw him football, but yeah, that's probably.
• 8:42
[SPEAKER_03]: TK's probably, you know, Terry, second best about 30 pins behind me.
• 8:48
  [SPEAKER_01]: About 30 pins.
• 8:49
[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay, back to the coaching live streamer.
• 8:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
• 8:52
[SPEAKER_01]: back to the coaching carousel here.
• 8:56
[SPEAKER_01]: So, Kubiak, who else at Stefanski, did they have a Vanski and Halfway, yeah.
• 9:01
  [SPEAKER_01]: And Halfway, okay.
• 9:02
[SPEAKER_01]: So, two guys who are currently available and one who still has a game to coach.
• 9:07
[SPEAKER_01]: So we've got that going on.
• 9:09
[SPEAKER_01]: The hard boss situation is still an active situation.
• 9:13
[SPEAKER_01]: Then the big shocker that sent Chad Van Horn into a complete cave somewhere is Mike Thomas steps down after 19 years never having a losing season.
• 9:25
  [SPEAKER_01]: He steps down.
• 9:28
[SPEAKER_01]: The word on the streets are he's taken a year off.
• 9:30
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not, he's not messing with it.
• 9:33
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's still funny to watch the rumors circuit because sometimes you're hearing that he wants warm weather.
• 9:40
[SPEAKER_01]: The dolphins are in play.
• 9:42
[SPEAKER_01]: Then you hear the dolphins aren't in play.
• 9:44
[SPEAKER_01]: Even if he likes warm weather, then you're he's just not going to work.
• 9:47
[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay, thank you, bike, I appreciate that.
• 9:51
[SPEAKER_01]: So, but don't smash the like button, do I?
• 9:54
[SPEAKER_01]: No double dip in no double dip in Lewis Lewis is on a cruise he's cruising right now Okay, yeah, he says he found some good Wi-Fi somewhere on a cruise.
• 10:03
[SPEAKER_03]: He needs to take take you know You need to take perk with him next time, man.
• 10:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just wanted to say he's sprang for the Wi-Fi And perk is not available speaking of Perk how about the fact that Perk is not here with us tonight Sam are you ready for this He His condo association has a big meeting tonight
• 10:23
[SPEAKER_01]: And so he is not here because of the condo association meeting.
• 10:27
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm wondering if he brought Chad as his representative.
• 10:30
[SPEAKER_03]: That's why they both are here.
• 10:31
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they both, yeah, I think that's why Chad's not here.
• 10:34
[SPEAKER_01]: He said, look, I'm reading this.
• 10:37
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not making this up.
• 10:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Gonna be a big one night voting whether to reduce insurance.
• 10:42
[SPEAKER_01]: There's controversy over the amount in the premium.
• 10:44
[SPEAKER_01]: retain a condo attorney retain a condo attorney.
• 10:48
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he's trying to slip Chad man horn in there.
• 10:52
[SPEAKER_01]: and get an update on an ongoing construction project.
• 10:56
  [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, there it is.
• 10:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Man, one couldn't handle the level shift.
• 10:58
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he's going to get it tonight.
• 11:00
[SPEAKER_03]: He was going to get it tonight.
• 11:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Like I said, he slipped out the back door tonight.
• 11:04
[SPEAKER_01]: And Terry, you are correct.
• 11:05
[SPEAKER_01]: So because Mike Tomman was not fired, he stepped down that he is still under contract.
• 11:12
[SPEAKER_01]: So he can't be setting up meetings, even if there was interest there.
• 11:16
[SPEAKER_01]: It in theory, he can't be.
• 11:18
[SPEAKER_01]: And he certainly just can't go
• 11:20
  [SPEAKER_01]: Get a job.
• 11:21
[SPEAKER_03]: There's going to be consequences of repercussion because if you're going to sign him it they've got him until 2027 big So that's right.
• 11:29
[SPEAKER_03]: I saw always on the contract with them.
• 11:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Perk was the reason for the Verizon outlet
• 11:38
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's so good.
• 11:39
[SPEAKER_01]: Andrew, you better give Chad crap.
• 11:41
[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, we're going to make sure he gets the full transcript of all that.
• 11:44
  [SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
• 11:45
  [SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
• 11:45
[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to have instead of the legal segment of the whole thing.
• 11:49
[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to trash Chad.
• 11:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Chad man, horn gets trash.
• 11:53
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, not good.
• 11:54
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 11:55
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so that's the deal.
• 11:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Back to these these coaches.
• 12:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, actually right before that.
• 12:02
[SPEAKER_01]: So Mike McDonald now is on his own tour.
• 12:04
[SPEAKER_01]: So he's he's interviewing for jobs we're got a situation where right the Browns fire their head coach.
• 12:11
[SPEAKER_01]: He's interviewing for job Miami.
• 12:12
[SPEAKER_01]: We fire our head coach.
• 12:14
  [SPEAKER_01]: He's interviewed.
• 12:15
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is reminds me of the old MTV real world the way these.
• 12:18
  [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
• 12:18
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, switching here from room to room.
• 12:21
[SPEAKER_03]: That's an interesting dynamic like a soap opera, man.
• 12:23
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's a couple.
• 12:24
[SPEAKER_03]: They start dating each other, dating each other, and it's like, you know, I mean, it's literally what's happened.
• 12:28
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, you know, it's right.
• 12:31
[SPEAKER_01]: And Mike McDaniel was in Detroit, right?
• 12:33
[SPEAKER_01]: We saw, I think we saw that he was at the airport in Detroit.
• 12:37
[SPEAKER_01]: And he was interviewing for that deal.
• 12:39
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, that good call mark all loose right don't don't shit.
• 12:43
[SPEAKER_03]: We won't clip that shit.
• 12:44
[SPEAKER_03]: We won't clip that and send it to him.
• 12:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Alvaro was smart enough.
• 12:48
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the Casabelle as I grew studios, but he doesn't come in here and pissing on my me dolphins fans for, you know, episodes.
• 12:55
[SPEAKER_03]: So I think a pop in bottles and shit, you know what I mean, but pink tiles and jerseys going on.
• 13:01
[SPEAKER_03]: He, he, he's gonna shit on us for a month now.
• 13:03
[SPEAKER_01]: He has been he has been.
• 13:05
[SPEAKER_01]: like Daniel interviews via text too good.
• 13:08
[SPEAKER_01]: So you put out a tweet, was it yesterday?
• 13:11
[SPEAKER_01]: And you asked it a, rank your top three coaching candidates.
• 13:16
  [SPEAKER_01]: And
• 13:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Dolphins Twitter lost their mind with it and I thought it was really interesting and so I'm going to ask even if for those folks here in the chat, go ahead and drop who your top three candidates are because I got the sense that we were all over the board.
• 13:30
[SPEAKER_01]: We had the people that only wanted the big names.
• 13:32
[SPEAKER_01]: We had the people that only wanted coaches with experience.
• 13:35
[SPEAKER_01]: I know we hear that a lot and I'm going to address that later today as well but this idea that we've gone coach after coach after coach that we're first timers.
• 13:43
[SPEAKER_01]: And so now I think everyone wants to try.
• 13:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's get somebody that actually has been ahead coach before, which, again, you fire a guy.
• 13:52
[SPEAKER_01]: So Mike McDaniel was the first time ahead coach.
• 13:54
[SPEAKER_01]: Now if somebody else brings him, now he's an experienced head coach.
• 13:56
[SPEAKER_01]: So Robert Salah, I was an absolute disaster with the jets, but now he's an experienced head coach.
• 14:01
  [SPEAKER_01]: Let's give him a shot.
• 14:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: So that is interesting.
• 14:04
[SPEAKER_01]: And then you have people that don't want that under any circumstance.
• 14:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Then you want people who want fresh faces.
• 14:09
[SPEAKER_01]: So it really is all over the board.
• 14:14
[SPEAKER_03]: Sam, I will show you that we were all in this thing, studio.
• 14:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Sam, boy, do remember that.
• 14:20
  [SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
• 14:21
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I was the guest on your show.
• 14:22
[SPEAKER_01]: You guys didn't get me any foods.
• 14:23
[SPEAKER_01]: I had to bring my own.
• 14:26
  [SPEAKER_03]: Makes sense.
• 14:27
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
• 14:28
[SPEAKER_01]: So, I'm going to throw it at you.
• 14:31
  [SPEAKER_01]: What's the run?
• 14:32
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to throw it at you, Savak.
• 14:34
[SPEAKER_01]: If I, because I didn't see you on the OJ's mentions there, who are your top three candidates for the Miami Dolphins?
• 14:41
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I have to say I would love hardball, although I would be a little bit concerned about how long we would happen for, with him being a little bit more seasoned.
• 14:53
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say I wouldn't mind actually this one might surprise folks a little bit.
• 14:59
[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't mind Mike McCarthy, honestly, I think he's better than he gets credit for.
• 15:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: Agreed.
• 15:05
  [SPEAKER_00]: And finally, I'd taste a panski.
• 15:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, you missed a fancy all day.
• 15:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Tell me about why Stephanski.
• 15:11
[SPEAKER_01]: I, you know, because it was a miserable finish in Cleveland.
• 15:15
[SPEAKER_00]: It was, and I think that that right there is part you have to underline.
• 15:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: He was in Cleveland.
• 15:20
[SPEAKER_00]: And he managed to be a two-time NFL coach of the year despite their dysfunction.
• 15:25
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I get it the first year.
• 15:27
[SPEAKER_00]: I won't even count that one because he did.
• 15:29
[SPEAKER_00]: He had a stack roster.
• 15:30
[SPEAKER_00]: But that second award that he won, he did so with a revolving door at quarterback and finally had to finish the season with the goes to Joe Flacco.
• 15:39
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, he played really well, but let's make no mistake.
• 15:43
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like anybody's lining up to take him now.
• 15:47
  [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
• 15:48
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why I'd love to see what he could do with a more stable organization.
• 15:54
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's a good right there.
• 15:56
[SPEAKER_01]: And so worstability, we are the picture of stability is what you're saying.
• 15:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: Come here.
• 16:00
  [SPEAKER_01]: Decleave, Linda.
• 16:02
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Cleveland, whooped our ass?
• 16:04
[SPEAKER_03]: They ain't seen North Woped our ass, big set.
• 16:06
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 16:07
[SPEAKER_03]: We lost every team in the AFC North this past year.
• 16:10
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 16:11
[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like, the Cleveland one of the shocker, even even Cincinnati, even though they had their their stud offensive guys there, come on, but they still don't come in in here.
• 16:21
[SPEAKER_01]: And that wasn't our backyard.
• 16:23
[SPEAKER_03]: right in our house, the nasty nanny.
• 16:25
[SPEAKER_03]: And they came in here and embarrassed us.
• 16:27
[SPEAKER_03]: Pittsburgh wasn't that good, but of course we knew there was going to be complications on Monday night, COVID.
• 16:31
  [SPEAKER_03]: They're all that shit.
• 16:32
[SPEAKER_03]: And the Ravens game, hell, if we didn't turn it over in and miss a field going on, that's tough.
• 16:38
[SPEAKER_03]: The underscore doesn't indicate how bad, you know, how good the game was.
• 16:41
[SPEAKER_03]: And they came now and worked our ass too.
• 16:45
  [SPEAKER_01]: Sam, not disappointed.
• 16:46
[SPEAKER_01]: There are a lot of people up there.
• 16:47
[SPEAKER_01]: I was like I said there were five games where we lost by 22 points or more which we got to remember though.
• 16:53
[SPEAKER_00]: That was that was the previous regime.
• 16:56
[SPEAKER_00]: Those were Chris Greer's Dolphins.
• 16:58
[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about John Eric Sullivan Dolphins.
• 17:02
[SPEAKER_01]: So now stability is here and here to stay.
• 17:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yes indeed.
• 17:05
  [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
• 17:06
  [SPEAKER_01]: I like it.
• 17:07
  [SPEAKER_03]: I like it.
• 17:07
[SPEAKER_03]: Do you have a top three yet?
• 17:09
[SPEAKER_03]: I, you know, I've had one, you know, Seth, you know, I am a, we talk about hardball and I know Savat was talking about how, you know, hard, Pete Carol just got fired.
• 17:22
  [SPEAKER_03]: He's 20,000 years old.
• 17:25
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean, so yeah, he's that old is that old.
• 17:29
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, look it up with a pity.
• 17:31
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he's there.
• 17:32
  [SPEAKER_03]: He's there.
• 17:33
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's amazing.
• 17:33
[SPEAKER_03]: He's got some going on out there.
• 17:35
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm about to keep him going.
• 17:36
  [SPEAKER_03]: You know.
• 17:38
[SPEAKER_03]: But I think no matter what, I mean, the shelf life of most coaches really.
• 17:42
[SPEAKER_03]: is, you know, five to 10 years, hopefully if they can get that far.
• 17:45
[SPEAKER_03]: So I mean, I think we can get John Harble to five to 10 years.
• 17:49
[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, I'm a big Mike Tomman fan.
• 17:52
[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's another guy that, you know, that could give us another decade of of solid football.
• 17:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: And then, you know,
• 17:59
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm on the I'm the same way a lot of other people are I'm done with this first year guys and done with the first year guys Like I get it.
• 18:05
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's fun.
• 18:05
[SPEAKER_03]: It's cute and shit You know last for a little while and there's some guys that have proved me wrong with the Ben Johnson's and the you know the Liam Cohen wins and those guys have done well But for the most part I want some some season guys like yeah Vodka's talking about what some season guys that have been there done that but more important I was some guys that we know have commanded locker room
• 18:25
[SPEAKER_03]: right because this locker room has gotten to a point in my opinion where you know it's out of control man and the inmates are running the asylum seems like over that you know it's been that way and Mike I'm not this not a knock on Mike he's you know he's got some guys on his team that if you know taking advantage of the situation in my opinion
• 18:43
[SPEAKER_03]: And they've got to be a coach in it or something happened to us.
• 18:46
[SPEAKER_03]: And remember, Seth, I told you this, you guys know, you know for a fact, Seth, that I do not like this man.
• 18:51
[SPEAKER_03]: If I saw him an alley, I'd beat the shit out of him.
• 18:53
[SPEAKER_03]: No, I would, because just in case it happened, I want to be the first.
• 18:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Be elderly abused the disappointers.
• 18:58
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I mean, I'm an elderly, too, Anna.
• 19:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but not in comparison to him.
• 19:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, yeah, but I say we need a Jimmy Johnson type guy to be in that locker room because Jimmy, he, he, he, you know, he ruled with a, you know, with intimidation.
• 19:13
[SPEAKER_03]: He would talk to that locker room with a scouring his face and even the season, most season vets of our.
• 19:19
[SPEAKER_03]: would tighten up, you know what I mean?
• 19:21
[SPEAKER_03]: It stopped cracking jokes, it stopped laughing and shit as he walked all the way through the garland, you know?
• 19:26
[SPEAKER_03]: So I think that's what needs to happen.
• 19:29
[SPEAKER_03]: And honestly, a new guy can come in here and set a new narrative big set in that locker room compared to what it's been like before and has to start with day one.
• 19:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, Mike came in as a buddy buddy with everybody, right away.
• 19:42
[SPEAKER_03]: And it's hard, I talk about this all the time about when you got a kindergarten teacher,
• 19:49
[SPEAKER_03]: And then later in the year, she can lighten up a little bit.
• 19:51
[SPEAKER_03]: She can be light at first and then all of a sudden what's the tough enough when he's kids, it's you let, you know, put crayons on the wall, you know, chatter during, you know, during quiet time, you know, and nap time and shit.
• 20:03
[SPEAKER_03]: You can't tighten up and you gotta tighten up at the beginning and then you can loosen up as it goes along, man.
• 20:08
[SPEAKER_03]: Stop giving me somebody else.
• 20:09
[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm saying, so Harball, Tomlin, and then, you know, number three is question mark to me.
• 20:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: I don't, you don't matter to that.
• 20:16
  [SPEAKER_01]: So that's it.
• 20:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
• 20:18
[SPEAKER_01]: Now you you picked the too long as shots, right?
• 20:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Because I mean, Tom and Mighty might not even be coaching.
• 20:24
[SPEAKER_01]: So that tells me that it's kind of hardball or bust for you.
• 20:27
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 20:27
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you know what, Tom and Luke, I made draft picks to give up the shoe of man.
• 20:31
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, the man, we got it.
• 20:32
[SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes you got to give up something to get something.
• 20:34
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's fair.
• 20:35
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, we know Thomas on the contract to 2027, but hell, man, I'll give up a couple draft picks if we have to to get that stability and then move on from there.
• 20:44
[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, they're two long shots.
• 20:47
  [SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
• 20:48
[SPEAKER_03]: But hell, they both like.
• 20:50
[SPEAKER_03]: who wouldn't want to come to South Florida.
• 20:51
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care what's going to lock the room.
• 20:53
[SPEAKER_03]: They can figure all that out when they get here.
• 20:55
  [SPEAKER_03]: Big fans.
• 20:55
[SPEAKER_03]: And on top of that big Seth, there won't be, I don't think there'll be a short of these show guys like that because I think ownership would give those guys a little bit more of an opportunity to write the shit in there.
• 21:06
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they'd have to demand it, right?
• 21:08
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that would be a requirement.
• 21:10
[SPEAKER_01]: So it'll be really interesting.
• 21:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: And I wonder,
• 21:13
[SPEAKER_01]: I just wonder what Ross is looking for.
• 21:16
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say that do's an absolute leader of Metacord and the former player is Rizzi.
• 21:19
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I love Rizzi.
• 21:21
[SPEAKER_03]: And he loves the lift, not here's deals, families down here.
• 21:23
[SPEAKER_01]: So Rizzi is right here.
• 21:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Incredibly popular had a stint as an interim in New Orleans.
• 21:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Looked a little bit like an interim at Coach.
• 21:33
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there were some things that, and it was interesting because I, I correct me if I'm wrong, but when Dan Campbell
• 21:42
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was rizzy that was really kind of helping him with some of the detail stuff because he was a system head coach, but once you become that headman or is a lot to manage there's a lot to manage there.
• 21:53
  [SPEAKER_03]: So I know it's also a big stuff.
• 21:55
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Darren, he's had obviously had opportunities for head coach and jobs since he's left here and hasn't didn't have one either.
• 22:01
[SPEAKER_03]: What's going on there, you know, I mean, I know he's probably looked at some of those positions or has an interview, so yeah, I mean, he hasn't been selected by other, you know, organizations either, you know, and that's no slight to narrow, but I'm wondering why that hasn't happened either though.
• 22:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, it is interesting.
• 22:16
[SPEAKER_01]: It's interesting to see who's getting recycled after.
• 22:20
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, after really kind of tenuous experiences to first go around, one of which, like we just talked about, Mike McDaniel, what about Anthony Campanelli?
• 22:31
[SPEAKER_01]: We saw the dolphins have requested to speak with him.
• 22:35
[SPEAKER_01]: He was here, he's a hard knocks legend, that clip was played, you know, right, ask kick in the universal language.
• 22:42
[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the great speeches of all time,
• 22:45
[SPEAKER_01]: got passed over to be the defensive coordinator here for Anthony Weaver.
• 22:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Clearly was not happy with that.
• 22:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Said I'm out of here.
• 22:53
[SPEAKER_01]: And after a year, he got a DC position and had a hell of a running jacks and bills.
• 22:59
[SPEAKER_01]: So strike while the iron is hot, I saw his name pop up a little bit here.
• 23:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I'm just okay.
• 23:04
[SPEAKER_01]: I like Rizzi too because the special teams coordinator has had coach.
• 23:07
[SPEAKER_01]: We just finally got a guy who coached the whole team.
• 23:09
  [SPEAKER_06]: Right.
• 23:10
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's an interesting.
• 23:10
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what hardball, right?
• 23:14
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
• 23:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Lewis also said that he'll go with you to jump, uh, Jimmy's ass down in the keys.
• 23:19
[SPEAKER_03]: So I've just got a jump, you know what's what you said about me, bro.
• 23:22
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 23:23
  [SPEAKER_03]: Give me a 1v1, man.
• 23:25
  [SPEAKER_03]: I'm good with a 1v1.
• 23:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God, my God,
• 23:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, he's old too though.
• 23:40
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll take his ass too.
• 23:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, no, he does work out all the time.
• 23:43
  [SPEAKER_03]: And he's got a good question.
• 23:44
  [SPEAKER_03]: He's pretty jack still.
• 23:45
[SPEAKER_01]: He looks like a great shade, but he's got a concussion issue.
• 23:48
[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, you know what he's talking about.
• 23:50
[SPEAKER_03]: It's that there's no such thing as a fair one.
• 23:52
[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, I mean, there's no such thing as a fair fight.
• 23:54
[SPEAKER_03]: So, if Equin were to get in and I'd bite the shit out of him.
• 23:58
[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I do up with bite.
• 24:01
  [SPEAKER_01]: who good.
• 24:02
[SPEAKER_01]: So, but what do you think realistically is going to happen here?
• 24:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Look at the names that are coming up here.
• 24:07
[SPEAKER_01]: I worked that like 20 years ago with the late Great Calvin Jackson.
• 24:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's my man, right?
• 24:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Man, and we love some Calvin Jackson.
• 24:14
  [SPEAKER_01]: What a great man.
• 24:14
[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody, if you've got a chance, guys, and you know, I'm on here tonight.
• 24:18
[SPEAKER_03]: Check out the podcast we did with Calvin, man.
• 24:21
  [SPEAKER_03]: It was great.
• 24:22
[SPEAKER_03]: uh and listen to some of the reasons and the things that he went through and why he came back to Miami that stuff was absolutely gold man.
• 24:30
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we always talk about it on our podcast big set about how sometimes the bigger names are not as good interview as some of the lesser names.
• 24:37
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was one of those kind of quote quote unquote lesser names that really brought us some good stuff to talk about man was loud and fun.
• 24:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, here's the thing about it.
• 24:47
[SPEAKER_03]: They'll say what they're talking about there's you know every time I go out man, I want to make sure that every time I'm out in the bout, you know, it's my mom's fault to with this that I'm going to make sure that, you know, I for one, I represent myself from my family.
• 25:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, but at the same time, no, man, people like that, you know, he said he worked at a bar for 20 years, man.
• 25:05
[SPEAKER_03]: They they bust their ass for us out there, you know, and all these people that are meant that skimpled them out or the people that don't want to tip or do do things like that, you know, don't go out, you know, just don't go out.
• 25:16
[SPEAKER_03]: If you can't, if you can't beat those people, don't go out.
• 25:20
  [SPEAKER_03]: Stay home, man.
• 25:21
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, and I appreciate the fact that it was recognized that I was trying to at least, you know, be the, you know, the best customer I could be when I'm out in the bottom of it.
• 25:27
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm always going to be that for sure.
• 25:29
[SPEAKER_01]: There's no question, no question about it.
• 25:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Have we secured an hurricane's tickets for Monday?
• 25:34
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's tough.
• 25:35
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we have, Bidget.
• 25:37
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm sure it won't.
• 25:38
[SPEAKER_03]: I got my count is calling me.
• 25:40
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I've got a great, you know what I mean?
• 25:45
[SPEAKER_03]: I got free alcohol, free food, you know that, because I didn't go out and buy anything extra.
• 25:50
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's already been here.
• 25:51
[SPEAKER_03]: So I mean, it's going to be free to me.
• 25:52
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
• 25:53
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's all.
• 25:54
  [SPEAKER_01]: Good to go.
• 25:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a tough ticket there.
• 25:57
[SPEAKER_01]: I told you I talked to the boss, well, the boss lady.
• 26:01
[SPEAKER_01]: And she said, we get 10 tickets and that's it.
• 26:05
[SPEAKER_01]: When you start seeing the wives of the coaches put out there on Instagram, we don't have any extra tickets that tell the exactly where it is.
• 26:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Look at the description of how, so this is how you're going to take acumen down.
• 26:14
[SPEAKER_01]: So you're going to jump Jimmy Johnson with Lewis.
• 26:17
[SPEAKER_01]: And then Sam's going to distract Troy Akman with girls and be keen to go.
• 26:20
  [SPEAKER_01]: There we go.
• 26:21
  [SPEAKER_03]: There we go.
• 26:22
  [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
• 26:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Mike, as much as you want to do often, as experienced head coach, have a feeling it'll be Kubiak or Havli or a first time or head coach.
• 26:30
[SPEAKER_01]: I think you could be right there.
• 26:32
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to address in my, I try to tell y'all.
• 26:35
[SPEAKER_01]: I think I've shifted gears of where I'm at as well with that.
• 26:38
  [SPEAKER_01]: So.
• 26:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 26:40
[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think about the fact that Troy Akman was retained for this search as well?
• 26:46
[SPEAKER_01]: What does it say about maybe what his involvement was in the general manager piece because we don't know we just knew he's going to be involved we don't know we heard a lot of different reports and do you think there's a world where.
• 26:57
[SPEAKER_01]: his involvement with the Miami Dolphins extends even beyond the coach's coaches.
• 27:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, it seemed like they really enjoy working with him, Big Seth.
• 27:05
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think they like how the process played out.
• 27:07
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think we all are happy with the way the process played out.
• 27:10
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I don't know about, you know, was it John Eric Sullivan or Eric Johnson?
• 27:15
[SPEAKER_03]: John Eric Johnson is, yeah, whatever hell it is, you know, I'm cool with Mr. Sullivan's, what I call him when I see him in the hallways.
• 27:21
  [SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
• 27:22
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you can't, you can't deny that one, right?
• 27:25
[SPEAKER_03]: I just think that, you know, I think that the process itself actually worked for this team this time.
• 27:31
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 27:32
[SPEAKER_03]: For what I'm understanding and reading about him and everybody else is like, yeah, they hit a home room with this guy and if you look at the Green Bay Packer, you know, their history.
• 27:41
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, a hit on three three quarterbacks and a real pretty much even though you know, I think, you know, Jordan love kind of what the bed recently, but I think that he looks like it's a future stud and I think anybody has had that type of success with the draft and that's top success with with a with a roster, I mean, that's that's what we're looking for right there and and.
• 28:01
  [SPEAKER_03]: The history is there.
• 28:02
  [SPEAKER_03]: His resume is there.
• 28:04
[SPEAKER_03]: And so if they're going to bring Troy eight men on now to for a hit coaching position, they must have loved the way the process went and how he handled his business when they were all in the rooms and when they were all talking to maybe the questions he was asking.
• 28:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe the feedback afterwards after every candidate left, I think that something about them was intriguing about Troy and I think he and Danny probably, you know, being whole same quarterback, probably weren't really well together and I think they wanted to make sure that that combination continues on.
• 28:33
[SPEAKER_03]: And probably, you know, Jim positions, obviously, very important, but the most important thing now is who we get as a head man.
• 28:39
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's what works for them.
• 28:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I like that there were football guys making decisions on football guys, you know, and that's no disrespect to others, but you know, Troy Ackman and damn arena.
• 28:54
[SPEAKER_01]: you would hope have some context for when when they really start talking shop and asking questions about process and what they're looking for in players and you know I just feel like there's going to be a different level understanding and now John Eric Sullivan gets to jump to the other side of the desk and you've got three career football guys and and just you have to like the fact that John Eric Sullivan's dad was a wide receiver scoge that's got to count for something.
• 29:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah I mean I mean now we can get all those
• 29:23
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I'm talking about this for a long time man about damn time.
• 29:26
[SPEAKER_03]: We got somebody at you know knows that you put a lever receivers on our fence You know put six up on defense, so we don't want to talk on nobody you know to me And that's how you win football games, man, so yeah, it's a perfect situation for us right there
• 29:39
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, when you see Mr. Sullivan, who himself was a DB, you couldn't see how that goes out.
• 29:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'd cut him, I'd cut him.
• 29:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Jeff Avali looks like every actor cast it as a Midwestern dad from the period piece in 1950s, who loves his kids, but doesn't know how to tell them until the very end of the movie.
• 29:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's what we need.
• 29:58
[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody felt loved here under Mike McDaniel.
• 30:01
[SPEAKER_01]: And then I think that they, you know, who was it?
• 30:04
[SPEAKER_01]: Ryan Clark used the analogy of the weekend parent.
• 30:09
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that you've got separated parents and they're sharing custody.
• 30:12
[SPEAKER_01]: and you've got the dad that only gets his kids and the weekends or maybe two weekends a month and so when he has his kids he tries to make up for that last time with all the ice cream stand-up late playing video games and you know never getting in trouble eating candy all day and and and he said that's kind of how Mike McDaniel was running the locker room so I thought that was an interesting you know what and then you get
• 30:34
[SPEAKER_03]: You get yelled at on Monday after you lose the game, you know what I mean, you get yelled at on Monday by the media The fans because you lose the game because you know, you let the kids like that's how I was when I was thinking my kid back to his mom After he spent night up all night hanging out kicking it party in at two three years old So you were that dad you were the Mike Daniel that
• 31:00
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, absolutely.
• 31:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I hope that he didn't betray you in the way that Tyree Kill and Jalen Ramsey and some of these other guys did.
• 31:10
[SPEAKER_01]: How do I sign up for that weekend, Dad Gig?
• 31:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: Save that question.
• 31:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Save that question, Sam, for Chad next week when he gets back in here.
• 31:20
[SPEAKER_01]: So speaking of Mike McDaniel, speaking of the process.
• 31:24
[SPEAKER_01]: There was something interesting that came, you know, we saw the clips on Twitter, I guess was on a podcast.
• 31:29
[SPEAKER_01]: So, so Dan Soder, right, comedian, who grew up with Mike McDaniel, like they were best buds growing up and clearly Colorado, whatever it was, he was a little bit out of shape that that his buddy lost his job.
• 31:45
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to play the clip.
• 31:47
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to play the clip here, and I want to talk about what we saw here.
• 32:05
[SPEAKER_02]: What are you going to gig right somewhere else?
• 32:07
  [SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
• 32:07
[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, I think he's better off because I think, and listen to me right now, I think it's a shit organization.
• 32:12
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's all, I think it's ran by an old fuck that stab mic in the back after he told me he was going to be all right for another season and fuck the dolphins.
• 32:22
[SPEAKER_02]: And honestly, fuck my amy as a comedy town.
• 32:25
[SPEAKER_02]: When having a friend that's an NFL coach, you notice you listen more when people talk about your friend.
• 32:30
  [SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
• 32:31
[SPEAKER_02]: And Troy Acmean sits on McDaniel in a way that I'm like, you don't like Mike.
• 32:37
  [SPEAKER_02]: Whoa.
• 32:37
[SPEAKER_02]: And me and my friend Chad, who grew up with Mike, were like, Chad was the first one.
• 32:40
[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, I bet Acmean had something to do with it.
• 32:42
[SPEAKER_02]: And then I was just like, flip toy, look at what Jay-Z was falling off, do his stings.
• 32:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: But people,
• 32:52
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm, listen, I think we Daniel got fired because he tied himself to Tua and they lost.
• 32:59
[SPEAKER_02]: That's a sign of my friend being loyal, so like as a friend, as a friend I go, fuck yeah, he stuck with him.
• 33:07
[SPEAKER_02]: And I hope the next team he goes to the quarterback goes this guy stuck with him, so I believe him.
• 33:11
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 33:12
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'll fucking play for it.
• 33:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I just hope McDonald goes and wins 10 Limbardi trophies and then shove some up the owner of the Dolphins asshole one at a time.
• 33:21
[SPEAKER_02]: And I hope the Dolphins never win another game.
• 33:23
  [SPEAKER_06]: You're stupid.
• 33:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Your old logo is better.
• 33:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Your new logo looks like a penis jumping through a new ring.
• 33:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Your fans don't know ball.
• 33:34
[SPEAKER_02]: A couple of them at the stadium.
• 33:36
[SPEAKER_02]: It was crazy watching them not knowing to cheer on third down.
• 33:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: Jesus Christ.
• 33:41
  [SPEAKER_02]: Fuck them.
• 33:41
  [SPEAKER_02]: Fuck that whole organization.
• 33:44
  [SPEAKER_01]: So.
• 33:46
[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot to unpack their fellow as I want to start with and actually Lewis just dropped the I was going to ask both Lewis and Lewis, you know, this is your backyard and and Sam who live in the comedy space.
• 33:58
[SPEAKER_01]: What you thought about him saying fuck Miami as a comedy town, Lewis said, lost me when he shit on Miami as a comedy town, sorry you can't sell.
• 34:05
  [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
• 34:06
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to say the same thing exactly right, just because you can't because nobody's looking at your clips and saying, yo, I'm going to see you perform and this isn't Lewis and saying we all know man, it's hard as hell to make people laugh.
• 34:18
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a tough ass deal, get right there.
• 34:21
[SPEAKER_03]: But don't shit on for that, right?
• 34:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, so I thought that was interesting.
• 34:27
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so I wonder who heard his feelings when he was down here.
• 34:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, cool that he's sticking up for his boy, that's great.
• 34:34
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's how I would want juice when if I got, well, I don't want you going after JT, but if Harvey had fired me and you went after Harvey like that, you know, thank you, right?
• 34:43
[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you having my back in that regard.
• 34:45
  [SPEAKER_01]: So totally respect that.
• 34:48
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but he says that he stabbed Mike in the back.
• 34:51
[SPEAKER_01]: after telling him that he was okay.
• 34:54
[SPEAKER_01]: So that to me, I thought was interesting, right?
• 34:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Because like, did they have that conversation?
• 35:00
  [SPEAKER_01]: Was that his interpretation?
• 35:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Was he in Mike like, do they still talk regularly?
• 35:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Was he on the can't sell tickets on the weekend?
• 35:07
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the improv on Wednesday twice.
• 35:09
  [SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
• 35:09
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm talking about.
• 35:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: Now, I want...
• 35:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: twice.
• 35:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
• 35:14
  [SPEAKER_01]: Let's go read.
• 35:16
[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that that was interesting of like and everybody said going back to Benching to a that Mike McDonald was carrying himself like a man who was not concerned about his job, who had felt that he was comfortable, but he also told us countless times that it's right, it's one day at a time and that you know,
• 35:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing's guaranteed and you know, all of those words that he that he utilized.
• 35:44
[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, was it a shock?
• 35:47
[SPEAKER_01]: Was he told one thing?
• 35:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Did things change when John?
• 35:50
  [SPEAKER_01]: Harbobie came available?
• 35:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Did things change when you started to sit in and the GM candidates that you really liked?
• 35:57
[SPEAKER_01]: basically said, I don't think that you've got the best guy for the job in the position.
• 36:02
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think all of that is interesting.
• 36:05
[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of people keep talking about this whole thing of let's start over and let's make sure we're aligned.
• 36:11
[SPEAKER_01]: I think that gets overplayed to some extent.
• 36:13
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you don't want to force a coach on somebody, but I think mine is the whole fuck.
• 36:18
[SPEAKER_01]: My army entirely is a city, can't say I never said any of those things myself.
• 36:21
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 36:21
[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, yeah, yeah, through on the way.
• 36:27
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, whatever Ricky saw, but big Seth, you know, first and foremost, Mike tethered himself the tool coming here.
• 36:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
• 36:37
[SPEAKER_03]: That's how he got the gig in the first place.
• 36:38
[SPEAKER_03]: They were trying to justify a, you know, a fifth overall pick, you know, and Mike said he could make two or two a making making get the best out of two and he did that for a spell.
• 36:49
[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, and he said that.
• 36:49
[SPEAKER_03]: He said he'd tell the, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them, he'd tell them,
• 36:58
[SPEAKER_03]: to a guy bench and then like had to go that's the mean that's that's part of business you know what I mean that's part of the business right there and for him to shit on the fans he don't even I don't know how many games he's been to in our stadium but the majority of the fucking fans are somebody from somewhere else they're from the other team so he he for him to shit on our fans our fans the ones out of there are the most loyal fans they definitely
• 37:22
[SPEAKER_01]: And if you were sitting in the head coach's suite, right?
• 37:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you don't always have the most sophisticated sports football fans in those seats, right?
• 37:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Sit out in the 300s and I bet everybody knows you damn right.
• 37:33
[SPEAKER_01]: They know when it's here.
• 37:34
[SPEAKER_03]: He's the one that sounds like he doesn't know ball to me.
• 37:36
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, that's one thing that I'm here from him.
• 37:39
[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, and he wants our owner to win, you know, he wants Mike to win 10, 10 championship.
• 37:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: 10 championship.
• 37:47
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I hope our owner makes it 10 to 15 more years, you know?
• 37:52
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Mr. Ross is what 90 years old now, something like, you know, he's up there.
• 37:56
[SPEAKER_03]: So if he can live that long to see Mike win 10, then we'll all be like, damn, we made him a steak.
• 38:01
  [SPEAKER_03]: But I don't, I don't obviously see that happening.
• 38:03
[SPEAKER_03]: So I get the best buddy like you're talking about, big stuff.
• 38:05
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, coming to his boys defense talking that shit, you know, Mike Mike had his chances here he had more he had longer 10 unit most coaches here when you think about it.
• 38:16
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, guys had interim for a few weeks, uh, uh, one year less than, you know, this it happens all the time, man.
• 38:24
[SPEAKER_03]: Why is he not talking about the fact that Mike's about to walk out with 19 million in his pocket?
• 38:28
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'm being going to have an opportunity to go somewhere else and make some more money.
• 38:31
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Mike got his shot at being a head coach.
• 38:34
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that Mike will be a good head coach, especially because Mike's a young dude still.
• 38:38
[SPEAKER_03]: But sometimes you need to fall before you become that guy.
• 38:42
[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, once Mike learns it from his experience here, all I like hopefully not like a billbell attack, but those things happen with coaches, man.
• 38:51
[SPEAKER_03]: But don't share to my city, man.
• 38:52
[SPEAKER_03]: This is my city now, bro.
• 38:54
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 38:55
[SPEAKER_03]: And don't talk about my football team.
• 38:57
[SPEAKER_03]: And don't talk about our comedy circuit because we know what good comedy is.
• 39:01
[SPEAKER_03]: And this obviously wasn't very good comedy, big set.
• 39:04
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, there you go.
• 39:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Savak and he thoughts on that.
• 39:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, I was trying not to have an expletive laden rant, but, you know, mostly just fucking very much because You know, all of that is fine.
• 39:19
[SPEAKER_00]: It's fine to have those sort of criticisms and, you know, you can have your opinion all the way up until he started shit and on the fans.
• 39:25
[SPEAKER_00]: I'd rather come on now
• 39:27
  [SPEAKER_00]: I understand.
• 39:28
  [SPEAKER_03]: He's a new, he's a new doll fan, you know, right?
• 39:30
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you just, you just started when Mike got here.
• 39:32
[SPEAKER_03]: Don't act like you know, the doll fans are about bro.
• 39:35
  [SPEAKER_03]: You know, you're right.
• 39:36
  [SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
• 39:36
[SPEAKER_00]: See, because I'm with you.
• 39:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's like, look, I understand you're, you're getting your boys back.
• 39:40
[SPEAKER_00]: That's all well and good.
• 39:42
  [SPEAKER_00]: But it's a business.
• 39:44
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, this is how it goes.
• 39:46
[SPEAKER_00]: I've seen coaches get done way dirty or than that.
• 39:50
[SPEAKER_00]: Just like he said, he's walking out with a pocket full of
• 39:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't know.
• 39:57
[SPEAKER_01]: I, you know, look, I mean, obviously this was a dream job for him.
• 40:00
[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm sure that right in big stuff also, let's, let's, let's not forget, you know, last year, Mike and Chris is job was to cure right after the final loss or final game we played.
• 40:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 40:12
[SPEAKER_03]: We didn't have that statement right there.
• 40:14
[SPEAKER_03]: So the party he talks about that, he stabbed him in the back.
• 40:17
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what that was the case.
• 40:18
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, Mike came out on Monday, acting like everything was good.
• 40:21
[SPEAKER_03]: After that last loss, you know.
• 40:24
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what was said right there, but me, you and Travis, we talked about, I think there's still something out there that we don't know because, you know, it didn't come out and say Mike's job is good, it's secure, you know, I mean, he didn't have the statement out there.
• 40:38
[SPEAKER_03]: And so, and then we're still was black Monday and then there's all kinds of other things out there for him.
• 40:43
[SPEAKER_03]: And it made sense for our owner not to say anything until
• 40:47
[SPEAKER_03]: all that stuff settled, you know what I mean?
• 40:49
[SPEAKER_03]: And maybe hardball was the final straw, you know, I mean, I just think that, you know, for him to sit there and say that, and if he said that, did Mike tell me that, did Mike say that?
• 41:01
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm asking.
• 41:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm saying.
• 41:04
[SPEAKER_01]: That was the point that I was making.
• 41:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Like did he just was that his interpretation or was that a conversation he had with his friend?
• 41:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know, man.
• 41:15
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if it is, it's boy's need to shut the fuck up.
• 41:20
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you know, we got a, we got one there.
• 41:25
[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, you know, and always happens like, yo, keep this between me and you, but, you know, he told me I had my job with, say, then I'll shut this boy's got this audience.
• 41:34
[SPEAKER_03]: A small audience, obviously, but he's got an audience that, you know, where he's about to buy what's going on with our squad.
• 41:42
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just thought it was a little too much for him to start coming at the fans especially consider in a lot of the fan base wanted to keep my yeah
• 41:51
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I've come up with it.
• 41:53
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not, I'm just not
• 42:19
  [SPEAKER_01]: understood.
• 42:20
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, understood.
• 42:21
  [SPEAKER_01]: Man, we're, we're flying here.
• 42:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I guess maybe Perk was just talking too much, you know, and so that's what we're, you know.
• 42:29
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we were too worried about, well, we kept waiting hours and hours for his fucking Wi-Fi to come back.
• 42:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that was a delay that happened most of the time with Kurt, man.
• 42:37
[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, yeah, I'm not just staring.
• 42:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Look, and we talked about this, it's fucked.
• 42:41
[SPEAKER_03]: You said it right, man.
• 42:42
[SPEAKER_03]: We did do the, you know, keeping letting go, just scenario before.
• 42:46
[SPEAKER_03]: And we're both, I think we all are big, likely Daniel Sand.
• 42:50
[SPEAKER_03]: I think we all are, man, and we do wish in the best, and I think that no matter what, it just went, when he was telling the two of them to work out, and then, you know, you have a couple of losing seasons, you know, it becomes an issue, and for, for the comedian, what's the name again?
• 43:07
  [SPEAKER_03]: Soder, Daniel Soder.
• 43:08
[SPEAKER_01]: He does a great macho man's savage impersonation about the world.
• 43:13
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like it's really good.
• 43:15
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's really good.
• 43:16
  [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
• 43:17
  [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
• 43:17
  [SPEAKER_03]: Well, okay.
• 43:19
  [SPEAKER_03]: Whatever.
• 43:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, but I see you see I know I lost my strength.
• 43:23
[SPEAKER_03]: But for him, they're like, you know, talk about the fact that, you know,
• 43:27
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Mike is, you know, the coach that he thinks he is, I don't know how much this guy has been involved and seeing how the team has gone from where they were to where they're at and, you know, probably to where they're, where they're headed, man.
• 43:41
  [SPEAKER_03]: So I don't, I don't know, man.
• 43:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Mike, Mike is a great guy.
• 43:46
[SPEAKER_03]: He really is and we, we've said that over and over and over again.
• 43:50
[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm telling you this, too.
• 43:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Mike is going to latch on somewhere.
• 43:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Mike's going to be in the league for the next 30 years.
• 43:55
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's get a, we're going to, he's going to be in the league for 30 years doing something.
• 43:59
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's just going to be the right fit, right place, but Mike's, Mike's just going, he's going to be fine, and you know, and I've never seen, have you seen any teams that circle back to a hit coach?
• 44:10
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, is there any history of that?
• 44:12
  [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's a great question.
• 44:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't think there is.
• 44:15
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, um,
• 44:17
[SPEAKER_01]: My god, I'm drawing a blank Joe Gibbs, but that wasn't right, but that was he retired and yeah, because didn't he had to Washington yeah, and so watch that's the only one I could that I could think of, but I can't imagine a team that fired a head coach and then brought him back
• 44:33
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, and we talked about that post-up put out there, people who might be Daniel and looked up three to come.
• 44:39
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not, no, it's not coming back.
• 44:41
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not, there's been people for four years in there.
• 44:43
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not going to happen.
• 44:45
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 44:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: Not any time soon.
• 44:47
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, some of those guys is just not going to happen.
• 44:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, McDaniel's not suing the dolphin, so I mean, he's got a better chance to come and work than Brian Flores.
• 44:55
  [SPEAKER_03]: He's got a much better chance.
• 44:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 44:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 44:58
  [SPEAKER_03]: I feel you, man.
• 44:59
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I just hope that we find a way to get it right.
• 45:06
[SPEAKER_03]: I do wish Mike all the best man because honestly he was really cool to me even though I didn't get a chance We didn't get a chance talked to him as much we'd like two big stuff.
• 45:15
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know for other reasons It's you know we'll lead that for maybe another Wednesday rant
• 45:21
[SPEAKER_03]: But the same time, no man, we do like, he was great.
• 45:26
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, from the day I met him at two as Lua, you know, and you were there for that too, man.
• 45:31
  [SPEAKER_01]: We had your cards.
• 45:32
[SPEAKER_01]: He had your trading cards.
• 45:33
[SPEAKER_03]: He was, he was, he was going to call his mom to get him from the basement.
• 45:36
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, we're probably spent a lot of time, you know, so uh, but it was it was a it was cool, though, man.
• 45:43
  [SPEAKER_03]: And we do it.
• 45:43
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:44
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:45
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:47
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:47
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:48
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:48
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:49
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:49
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:51
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:51
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:52
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:52
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:53
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:53
  [SPEAKER_03]: We do it.
• 45:54
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:54
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:56
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:56
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 45:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:00
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:00
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:01
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:04
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:05
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do it.
• 46:05
  [SPEAKER_01]: We do
• 46:06
[SPEAKER_01]: Great guy, just a great guy to sit around, kick it with, and just a good human being.
• 46:13
[SPEAKER_01]: But Dave was probably here at least one year too long.
• 46:17
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Dave was unable to get the best out of a team that he had, and then he was on our show and talked about how coaches have windows and some windows are larger than others.
• 46:27
[SPEAKER_01]: But his window and it was that game, and I forget the actual season.
• 46:30
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, was that what it had been 2002 or 2003 that that Monday night game in Denver where Chris Chambers gets knocked out, Jay breaks his, you know, it was a huge win.
• 46:40
  [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
• 46:40
[SPEAKER_01]: But Jay breaks his thumb around and it gets hurt.
• 46:45
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think for Mike McDonald, it was 2023.
• 46:50
[SPEAKER_01]: then window was wide open and that was the best team he was going to have, but the team was not ready to win big when it mattered most and they had every day they had an opportunity to win the division and then they you know that that flipping Tennessee game and things went downhill from there.
• 47:05
[SPEAKER_01]: So if that window shuts on your man then the team has to do what it has to do and I think that's that's what happened.
• 47:11
[SPEAKER_01]: So looking at the time because this thing is flying I want to move into
• 47:17
[SPEAKER_01]: And Savak, it's been a minute since you tried to tell us something, so we're going to let you kick it off.
• 47:22
[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate that because it has, and you know what, I could go a million different directions with this one because of that.
• 47:30
[SPEAKER_00]: But I'll try and keep it succinct.
• 47:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: Nice.
• 47:34
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a big word like mayonnaise right there.
• 47:36
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 47:37
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, watch me now.
• 47:39
[SPEAKER_00]: Say, the folks don't want to listen to me when I'm right.
• 47:42
[SPEAKER_00]: And I tend to be right a lot before the season even started.
• 47:46
[SPEAKER_00]: My uncle David called me Cowboys fan, Dolphins enthusiast.
• 47:51
[SPEAKER_00]: And he asked me for my honest opinion, and I gave it to him.
• 47:54
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, no sugar, no cool lay just the truth.
• 47:57
[SPEAKER_00]: Fast forward after week one the dolphins got pushed around my phone rings and he's saying damn nephew You all right.
• 48:06
[SPEAKER_00]: You told me them dolphins weren't cooking with nothing this year and nobody else was saying that Now wasn't luck just happened to notice a pattern And it's not the only one.
• 48:16
[SPEAKER_00]: You all remember remember when I told y'all the Darren Waller signing wasn't gonna amount to nothing Was it gonna move the needle?
• 48:24
  [SPEAKER_00]: did it.
• 48:25
[SPEAKER_00]: He looked really great in the moment that he was on the field right when we didn't forget about them.
• 48:30
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, I know, but he struggled to stay on the field as I kind of figured he would.
• 48:34
[SPEAKER_00]: That's all right, but the one that really got me.
• 48:39
[SPEAKER_00]: The one time we were actually asked to do predictions this year was that Bangalors game and then that's I nailed it of course Of course, we didn't even have a show that week the next week In the union You're I tried to tell y'all that the dolphins were gonna get their ass kicked by the bangles.
• 48:58
[SPEAKER_00]: I guess Hold on, no, I'm gonna I got one more thing.
• 49:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay
• 49:04
[SPEAKER_00]: Finally, if you guys have been listening to me, I've been pounding the tables saying the Dolphins needed John Dorsey in the building.
• 49:13
[SPEAKER_00]: Now they didn't hire him.
• 49:14
[SPEAKER_00]: But who did they hire?
• 49:17
[SPEAKER_00]: John Eric Sullivan, a guy who came up directly under John Dorsey, learned from him, worked with him, same lineage, same football DNA.
• 49:28
[SPEAKER_00]: So no, I haven't worked in that building before, but I know what I'm looking at.
• 49:34
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not bragging, just saying, next time I say, watch this, you might wanna watch it.
• 49:41
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I tried to tell y'all.
• 49:44
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
• 49:46
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's okay.
• 49:46
[SPEAKER_01]: You can get Savak's book to how to remain humble when you've never been wrong in your life.
• 49:50
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
• 49:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
• 49:53
[SPEAKER_00]: Now you're talking my language.
• 49:54
  [SPEAKER_01]: All right, good.
• 49:55
[SPEAKER_01]: Savak, with the eye, try to tell y'all, O.J.
• 49:58
[SPEAKER_01]: McDuffy, what did you try to tell us?
• 50:00
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, big set, I try to tell y'all, well, maybe it was just me talking to my closest friends, months ago that.
• 50:08
[SPEAKER_03]: I thought that was us.
• 50:09
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you are.
• 50:10
  [SPEAKER_03]: You are.
• 50:11
  [SPEAKER_03]: Today.
• 50:13
[SPEAKER_03]: Like I wanted, that I wanted Mike Tomman as our next head coach.
• 50:17
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, if Mike Daniel, if Mike McDaniel was let go, I was told it was a pipe dream.
• 50:23
[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, I only spoke pipes.
• 50:26
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't smoke, I, you know, I might have an occasional vape one case and just, you know, the sleep, but I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't smoke pipes, but, you know, but since the fire in the mighty Daniel, a lot of big names have come available, John Hardball from Baltimore, of course, uh, Jonathan Ganon from Arizona, Pete Carroll from Los Vegas, you know, Kevin Stephansky from Cleveland, Ryan Morris, Matt Lannon, I mean, you can add Brian Dable and Brian Kallahan as well to that list.
• 50:50
[SPEAKER_03]: And of course, Mike McDaniel from our beloved.
• 50:54
  [SPEAKER_03]: dolphin.
• 50:55
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I put out a Twitter question that we talked about earlier, who was, you know, when everybody thought to be our next head man, and overwhelmingly, you know, John Horbaugh was that guy, and that was that, that was the immediate response.
• 51:05
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Phil Go May or Phil Go miss, I think, decided his future right there, and it determined that, you know, that, that, you know, Mike Tomlin would stay with Pittsburgh and, of course, Mike, I mean, John Horbaugh would be out with
• 51:20
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, on the both available, the both available, both have a proven track record, conference championship, soup both victories, both the peer-to-peer-to-meat tremendous leaders, respect by their players, you know, but why am I talment from me?
• 51:34
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he's he's one more with less big Seth.
• 51:37
[SPEAKER_03]: That's why I like my talment line.
• 51:39
[SPEAKER_03]: I think we, you know, we will be less next year.
• 51:42
[SPEAKER_03]: So I think we need to have that hard walls enjoy an MVP quarterback for years now, right?
• 51:47
[SPEAKER_03]: And they haven't won shit.
• 51:49
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, one, eight thing.
• 51:50
[SPEAKER_03]: Thomas been to play all 13 of the 19 years with the Steelers.
• 51:54
[SPEAKER_03]: Of course, Ben Rothberger was a huge help for him.
• 51:57
[SPEAKER_03]: But also made it to the playoffs with the likes of Mr. Biscke.
• 52:01
[SPEAKER_03]: makes a rude off, old ass Russ Wilson, you know me, and I get these all seven straight.
• 52:07
[SPEAKER_03]: I get that, but how much do we love to make the fucking play off seven years in a row down here in Miami?
• 52:13
  [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, consistent.
• 52:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: I would love that, right, E.O.E.
• 52:16
[SPEAKER_03]: is one of Super Bowl, Lost Super Bowl, you know, most of us haven't even seen a Super Bowl appearance in our dolphin fandom period.
• 52:22
  [SPEAKER_03]: We haven't.
• 52:23
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I haven't seen one since I've been a dolphin, obviously, you know, so,
• 52:28
[SPEAKER_03]: a recent quarterback segment less and we have, you know, we haven't done shit with them.
• 52:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Even if the quarterback still suck, Tomlin will get us to the tournament and getting into the dance is all that matters.
• 52:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Just ask the University of Miami.
• 52:44
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's what I try to tell you.
• 52:47
  [SPEAKER_01]: Very nice.
• 52:47
  [SPEAKER_01]: Very nice.
• 52:48
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to stay on that topic.
• 52:49
[SPEAKER_01]: I guess it is kind of the only topic to discuss right now with the Miami Dolphins.
• 52:53
[SPEAKER_01]: But I try to tell you all,
• 52:56
[SPEAKER_01]: that the dolphins needed to go all in on John Harbaugh.
• 53:00
[SPEAKER_01]: At any cost, whatever it took.
• 53:03
[SPEAKER_01]: And then just in general, I was on the side of we need an experienced winner at the head coaching position.
• 53:11
[SPEAKER_01]: This team hasn't had it.
• 53:12
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you go all the way back.
• 53:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you know, between Cam Cameron, Joe, Phil, Nick Sabin, even first time NFL head coach didn't do anything.
• 53:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Adam Gays, Brian Flora, as Mike McDaniel, I might even be missing somebody.
• 53:28
[SPEAKER_01]: I understand where fans are coming from and I was right there with them.
• 53:32
[SPEAKER_01]: where we need to get someone who's experienced, but I didn't want an immediate retread.
• 53:36
[SPEAKER_01]: The Robert Salat thing doesn't excite me, although I understand it.
• 53:39
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the Fansky doesn't excite me, although I understand it.
• 53:42
[SPEAKER_01]: I like the Mike McCarthy idea, but I felt they needed to go all in for John Harbour.
• 53:48
  [SPEAKER_01]: Then I realized something.
• 53:50
[SPEAKER_01]: John Harbaugh is sitting around.
• 53:51
[SPEAKER_01]: This is that last to raw, that opportunity to cash in, and he's holding a lottery ticket, which he has earned, is earned it with almost two decades of success.
• 54:02
[SPEAKER_01]: He has a Super Bowl title, Flexior resume.
• 54:05
[SPEAKER_01]: We all want to be respected for our accomplishments, but he is going to fleece an organization.
• 54:12
[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to get all the power, everything that he needs, and that's fine if it works, but if it doesn't, you end up right back where you were, I have totally changed my tune.
• 54:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want anyone of those guys that has the big resumes.
• 54:28
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want him.
• 54:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's somebody else go over pay for him.
• 54:32
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even think, although I love Mike Tomlin, I don't think he's going to be available.
• 54:36
[SPEAKER_01]: I not only want to first year guy, I want to go with the one name that can bring glory back to the Miami Dolphins, and yes, I am writing the name because why the hell not everybody else is guessing what coordinators are going to become anyway because you haven't seen them as head coaches.
• 54:53
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know what they're going to do when they got to wear the big boy pants.
• 54:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: Give me Chris Shula.
• 54:58
[SPEAKER_01]: He grew up in South Florida.
• 55:00
  [SPEAKER_01]: He loves South Florida.
• 55:02
[SPEAKER_01]: He grew up cheering for Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas and damn it I just said it.
• 55:07
[SPEAKER_01]: His name is Chris Shula for crying out loud.
• 55:10
  [SPEAKER_01]: Forget the curse.
• 55:12
[SPEAKER_01]: We know Mercury Morris buried the voodoo doll
• 55:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Who can break the curse, but another Shula?
• 55:18
[SPEAKER_01]: Get me the get me, Khrisha.
• 55:20
[SPEAKER_01]: He's the grandfather of the grandson of the all-time winning his head coach in the history of the National Football League.
• 55:28
[SPEAKER_01]: Not just the Miami Dolphins, the history of the National Football League.
• 55:31
[SPEAKER_01]: There is perfect blood flowing through his veins.
• 55:36
[SPEAKER_01]: His last name is fucking Shula for crying out loud.
• 55:40
[SPEAKER_01]: How could we pass up on this?
• 55:42
[SPEAKER_01]: That's who we need to be.
• 55:43
[SPEAKER_01]: We need to have five people that send Aekman and Danny and John Erick Sullivan at a brand of shortest to be there to whoever it is, send them to the friggin' every game the Rams play so that the moment that they're no longer playing football.
• 55:58
[SPEAKER_01]: There's one group the way the way the college coaches used to recruit right the kid walks out of the half They say walk into their mother's living room and those coaches are sitting there right they hit the six page Handwritten Joe paterno letter that swayed O. J. McDuffie away from his hometown Ohio State book guys Do what you have to do to bring Shula
• 56:18
[SPEAKER_01]: back to the Miami Dolphins.
• 56:20
[SPEAKER_01]: It will breathe the life into the franchise.
• 56:23
[SPEAKER_01]: It will breathe life into the community.
• 56:25
  [SPEAKER_01]: You know what?
• 56:26
[SPEAKER_01]: You see the way all the guys from the you walk around on the sidelines, Michael Irvin, losing his damn mind and all those guys in the pride they have in the University of Miami, you don't think
• 56:36
[SPEAKER_01]: that Larry Zaka is going to have pride in the Miami Dolphins again when there's a shula at the helm.
• 56:42
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't think damn arena, you don't think Paul Warfield.
• 56:45
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't think O. J. McDuffie is going to have pride in the Miami Dolphins because the leader is shula.
• 56:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Imagine when you walk up to the head coach's office, and it says Coach Shula on the fucking door.
• 56:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's the answer.
• 57:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Get me Chris Shula, I tried to tell y'all.
• 57:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, ma'am ready, I'm ready now, big Seth.
• 57:06
[SPEAKER_03]: You better, you better hope that happens now, big Seth, because now I'm hooked up, right?
• 57:11
[SPEAKER_03]: He's going to be disappointed if it doesn't now.
• 57:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: Can he?
• 57:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's not a laugh together.
• 57:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Cizaca, come on man, of course.
• 57:17
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, man.
• 57:18
  [SPEAKER_03]: And you're right, man.
• 57:19
  [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I think, you know, that's it.
• 57:21
[SPEAKER_03]: If we're going to go with a first year guy, that's my guy too.
• 57:25
[SPEAKER_03]: If we got a first year guy, that's my guy.
• 57:27
  [SPEAKER_03]: Comin' on the right.
• 57:28
  [SPEAKER_03]: Why not?
• 57:29
  [SPEAKER_03]: Why not?
• 57:29
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that he'll get the same luxury or same amount of time that might got.
• 57:36
[SPEAKER_03]: He'll be giving an opportunity to write this shit, man.
• 57:39
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 57:41
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that would be awesome, man.
• 57:44
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you couldn't ask for a better Disney story.
• 57:55
[SPEAKER_03]: And what do we, how many, what's it, you gotta carry the one on this, so it's a vibe.
• 57:59
[SPEAKER_03]: 50, something years later, plus, take us to a Super Bowl and win one.
• 58:05
[SPEAKER_03]: And after the perfect season, I couldn't do that math that quick in my head.
• 58:09
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm pretty good with math too.
• 58:11
  [SPEAKER_03]: You're good.
• 58:11
  [SPEAKER_03]: You're good.
• 58:12
