A heartbreaking case in Birmingham: 18-year-old Kamarian Morris, a beloved high school senior and gaming enthusiast just months away from graduation, was fatally shot in December 2022. Police have now charged a sixth suspect, 19-year-old Jeremiah Monjae Burrell, with capital murder and attempted murder. Four other teens, aged 20-21, were arrested earlier in 2023 and remain charged as juveniles — their names withheld.
