Speaker 3: Welcome to the show. We met it to the end
1:43
Speaker 3: of your work week unless you're working. The State Football
1:47
Speaker 3: Championships at Lailey Field, presented by Toweota get underway today.
1:50
Speaker 3: Whether either whether you're working or not, they're still going
1:52
Speaker 3: to get underway. Standing by Tom Bragg, We're going to
1:54
Speaker 3: talk to him about that. Plus a little later on.
1:56
Speaker 3: Evan Osborne from Capitol Market is here. This is really
1:59
Speaker 3: their busy season, as if there's ever a non busy
2:02
Speaker 3: season at Capitol Market. We'll talk to him about some
2:04
Speaker 3: goins on there. And I also hear that he and
2:06
Speaker 3: his dance partner are one of the teams in the
2:08
Speaker 3: upcoming Dancing with the Stars program for the United Way
2:11
Speaker 3: that was announced earlier this week. Getting that a little
2:14
Speaker 3: bit with Evan coming up a little bit later on. Plus,
2:16
Speaker 3: you know, getting through the holiday season can be a
2:19
Speaker 3: burden for a lot of people. I'm gonna help you
2:22
Speaker 3: get through that. I have brought in an expert author,
2:24
Speaker 3: Lily Anne Ford no Now and she's written a book
2:29
Speaker 3: about how you can get through the holidays semi stress free,
2:32
Speaker 3: not guaranteed, but semi stress free. We're gonna talk to
2:34
Speaker 3: her about that. Plus we'd scheduled Hannah Gardner from the
2:37
Speaker 3: Gonna Charles Newman Association as always on Friday with Are
2:40
Speaker 3: Not Me Please? Pet of the Week. I am sad
2:42
Speaker 3: to report that Hannah is not with us. Hannah is
2:45
Speaker 3: feeling a little under the weather, she texted me this morning.
2:49
Speaker 3: But I do have the dog, and I will talk
2:51
Speaker 3: about the dog known as Archer. And I've already got
2:55
Speaker 3: Archer's picture posted on my social media as I always do.
2:58
Speaker 3: Dave Allen Radio and Facebook and at Dave A seventy
3:01
Speaker 3: on Twitter X if you prefer so. We'll talk about
3:04
Speaker 3: Archer a little bit later. On joining me now in
3:06
Speaker 3: studio though, Tom Bragg talk a little high school football time.
3:09
Speaker 3: Good morning, welcome to the show. Hey, thanks for having
3:10
Speaker 3: me on Dave you know the big bosses in town.
3:13
Speaker 3: And he brought donuts, and so that's why I want
3:17
Speaker 3: to think. That's not why you joined us in person
3:20
Speaker 3: today because you but there are donuts here. I'm just
3:22
Speaker 3: letting you know.
3:23
Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I gotta save those for after. I'll just
3:25
Speaker 6: have donut all over the place.
3:26
Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, I saw Murphy with one earlier, so Lord
3:29
Speaker 3: knows what the new production studio is, and it looked
3:31
Speaker 3: like in here covered in glaze and everything. So before though,
3:35
Speaker 3: I'm kidding, I'm kiddy Murphy. Before we get into talking
3:39
Speaker 3: about high school football in the championship games, I want
3:41
Speaker 3: to talk about two names though, that have dominated West
3:43
Speaker 3: Virginia sports headlines for the past week. Neil Brown and
3:47
Speaker 3: Charles Hoff are out at WVU and Marshall respectively, and
3:51
Speaker 3: now rich Rod and Tony Gibson are in. Let's start
3:53
Speaker 3: with Gibbey at Marshall, former defensive coordinator, most recently in
3:57
Speaker 3: North Carolina State. The old Van Bulldog is coming home
4:00
Speaker 3: to Marshall, announced yesterday officially at their press or in
4:03
Speaker 3: Huntings And your thoughts on Tony.
4:04
Speaker 6: Gibson, I think with the situation what it was in Huntington,
4:09
Speaker 6: it seemed toxic, like a toxic relationship along both sides,
4:12
Speaker 6: both from Huff and Marshall. They were both just done
4:15
Speaker 6: with each other. So you gotta go out and almost
4:19
Speaker 6: make a pr higher if you're Marshall, you got to
4:21
Speaker 6: soften that blow. And man, Tony Gibson has been a
4:23
Speaker 6: slam dunk so far. The Herd fans are in love
4:26
Speaker 6: with him. They love the Boone County angle, they love
4:29
Speaker 6: bringing a West Virginia boy home. And I don't know
4:32
Speaker 6: if you saw Gibbey's press conference yesterday, he a plus
4:35
Speaker 6: ten to ten, no notes on it. He won the
4:37
Speaker 6: press conference. It'll be interesting. I think expectations are going
4:41
Speaker 6: to be high.
4:41
Speaker 7: Though.
4:42
Speaker 6: You can't come in and take over for a guy
4:43
Speaker 6: that just won the conference championship. Yeah, he left under
4:47
Speaker 6: some not so great circumstances, but he won a trophy
4:49
Speaker 6: on his way out the door. So there's a standard
4:51
Speaker 6: that that Gibby's going to have to meet, and I
4:54
Speaker 6: think Herd fans will be patient to a degree. I
4:58
Speaker 6: don't think you can come out and stay next year.
5:00
Speaker 6: You've got to be able to play the portal game. Marshall,
5:03
Speaker 6: of course, suffered a lot of losses in the portal
5:05
Speaker 6: this week. Remains to be seen if all those guys
5:07
Speaker 6: will actually leave.
5:08
Speaker 3: I think a lot of noos they were trying to
5:09
Speaker 3: see if Red Dawson was eligible to come in to
5:11
Speaker 3: play for Marshall.
5:12
Speaker 6: Yeah, don't threaten him with the good time man, he
5:14
Speaker 6: might strap him on and come down and start running
5:17
Speaker 6: Oklahoma drills again.
5:18
Speaker 3: I don't think they want I don't think they want that.
5:20
Speaker 6: But but yeah, the Huff, the Hoff divorce, we'll call it,
5:23
Speaker 6: was messy. It is what it is at this point.
5:26
Speaker 6: And I think for Marshall in general, you start moving
5:29
Speaker 6: on with a big soccer game this weekend, and you
5:31
Speaker 6: really start moving on as a football team when you
5:34
Speaker 6: when you get through that bowl game and things really
5:36
Speaker 6: get going under the Gibbe regime, you start recruiting, you
5:38
Speaker 6: start seeing these guys out on the road, you start
5:40
Speaker 6: getting ready for the spring. It'll feel more real than
5:42
Speaker 6: I think.
5:43
Speaker 3: What about rich Rod and Morgantown. That's a that's an
5:45
Speaker 3: interesting one, man. I he of all.
5:48
Speaker 6: The candidates, it's he had. I mean, he's won everywhere.
5:51
Speaker 6: Say what you will about his personal life, some of
5:53
Speaker 6: the things he's gotten in trouble for he got run
5:55
Speaker 6: out of Arizona under some auspicious circumstances. But the guy wins.
6:00
Speaker 6: And that's really what West Virginia is going for right now.
6:04
Speaker 6: The the powers that be, the people with money, the
6:06
Speaker 6: people with stroke behind the scenes, seem to really start
6:09
Speaker 6: pushing for this even before Neil was let go, So
6:12
Speaker 6: I'm not super surprised that that eventually it landed here.
6:15
Speaker 6: He's got the support of the not necessarily all the alumni,
6:19
Speaker 6: but the prominent alumni, the the in the media alumni.
6:23
Speaker 6: You've got guys like Owen Schmidt all over the state
6:25
Speaker 6: this week talking up how much it's great to have
6:28
Speaker 6: the band back together. You've seen pac Man Jones kind
6:30
Speaker 6: of come out of hibernation to throw his name in
6:32
Speaker 6: the hat. Of course, Pat McAfee's out front about everyone show.
6:35
Speaker 6: I'm doing a show at the Colisseum today. Did you
6:37
Speaker 6: see they're gonna sell beer at the Colisseum today during
6:39
Speaker 6: the press conference. So good, they're gonna open up the concessions.
6:41
Speaker 3: What could go wrong? Right? Yeah?
6:43
Speaker 6: But I think you know it. It's similar to to
6:47
Speaker 6: Gibbey situation at Marshall. You have if if you bring
6:50
Speaker 6: rich Rod back, it's not the gold Watch tour you
6:53
Speaker 6: got to. You're bringing him back to win ball games.
6:55
Speaker 6: You're bringing him back to become a prominent member of
6:58
Speaker 6: the upper crust of college football, which you really haven't
7:02
Speaker 6: been since Rich left. You tiptoed up to it when
7:04
Speaker 6: Dana was there. You kind of peeked over the wall
7:06
Speaker 6: and looked in at the party, but you didn't get
7:08
Speaker 6: to come in. The idea is to get the invite
7:11
Speaker 6: into the party, and that's why rich is here. Anything
7:13
Speaker 6: less than that is a failure, I think for them.
7:15
Speaker 3: Talking with Tom Bragg, I will want to remind you
7:17
Speaker 3: that in the heart of West Virginia there exists a
7:19
Speaker 3: profound force that goes beyond the realm with sports, transcending
7:22
Speaker 3: limitations and fostering a sense of belonging to special Olympics
7:25
Speaker 3: a remarkable initiative showcase of the latest episode of West Virginia,
7:28
Speaker 3: enriched in collaboration with Huntington stands as a testament to
7:31
Speaker 3: the power of determination, unity and unwavering support. See of
7:34
Speaker 3: video highlighting special Olympics, Facebook dot Com, Last five AGWCCHS.
7:38
Speaker 3: All right, moving on, let's talk High School Football Championships
7:40
Speaker 3: Championship games presented by Toyota back in Charleston. Game one
7:44
Speaker 3: at noon today at lately a single a battle between
7:46
Speaker 3: Wahama and Cameron.
7:48
Speaker 6: Talk about that matchup. You know, I think it's a
7:50
Speaker 6: really good game. You get into some of these small
7:52
Speaker 6: school games, the Class A games, and it can come
7:55
Speaker 6: down to.
7:56
Speaker 3: A player here or a play there.
7:59
Speaker 6: These are two teams, as you know, covering the Hoover games,
8:02
Speaker 6: calling the Hoover games every week. I haven't been able
8:04
Speaker 6: to get out to as many games as I have
8:05
Speaker 6: in the past, so you're not quite as familiar in
8:09
Speaker 6: depth with some of these teams. But well, you start
8:10
Speaker 6: doing is you start scoreboard watching. You start seeing the
8:12
Speaker 6: Wahama score and the Cameron score every week, and you think, WHOA,
8:15
Speaker 6: maybe they're two of the Class A teams that can
8:17
Speaker 6: make a run.
8:18
Speaker 3: This year.
8:18
Speaker 6: You see some of the traditional powers in Class A
8:21
Speaker 6: start to peel off as the playoffs go around. Both
8:23
Speaker 6: of these teams had to go on the road and win.
8:25
Speaker 6: Last week. It's the three versus four games. They were
8:28
Speaker 6: both the road teams in the semi finals, and I
8:30
Speaker 6: think it's going to be a fun one. It's not
8:32
Speaker 6: a matchup that you see a whole lot in Class A.
8:34
Speaker 6: Wahama and Cameron in very different parts of the state.
8:37
Speaker 6: Wahamas had some success at this level over the last
8:40
Speaker 6: ten or fifteen years. They've been in state title games,
8:42
Speaker 6: have won one. Cameron kind of a new thing to
8:45
Speaker 6: get to this stage and be expected to maybe go
8:48
Speaker 6: in and make some noise and win a trophy at
8:49
Speaker 6: the end. I think it's going to be a fun one.
8:51
Speaker 3: Man. The fighting logan routes the Cameron Drafts seven o'clock
8:55
Speaker 3: game that night. Frankfort and Roane County Class Double A.
8:59
Speaker 3: That's an interest on Ronan County has kind of flown
9:01
Speaker 3: under the radar. I think this year for is good
9:04
Speaker 3: as they've been. Frankfort, I think had a couple of
9:07
Speaker 3: big games against some contenders middle of the season where
9:10
Speaker 3: you thought, okay, we'll see what the what the falcons
9:12
Speaker 3: are made of in these and they passed all the
9:15
Speaker 3: tests with flying colors. I think Frankfort has kind of
9:18
Speaker 3: had it rolling right now. Ronan County's going to have
9:20
Speaker 3: their hands full if anybody's gonna take a shot at
9:23
Speaker 3: this Frankfort team this year. In Class Double A, I
9:24
Speaker 3: think Rodan County's probably your best bet, similar to kind
9:28
Speaker 3: of what Hoover's facing in Class Triple A. It's a
9:30
Speaker 3: tall task, but if there's a second best team that
9:33
Speaker 3: deserves to get that shot at the team on top,
9:35
Speaker 3: it's probably the Huskies and Triple A. Similar to Ronan
9:38
Speaker 3: County in Double A. I think it's going to be
9:40
Speaker 3: a fun Friday close games. I think they're going to
9:42
Speaker 3: be exciting all right. Tomorrow we get it started at
9:44
Speaker 3: noon with Bridgeport and Hoover at Nude. You've called Hoover
9:46
Speaker 3: as you referenced all season long, your thoughts on that one.
9:49
Speaker 6: I think for Herbert Hoover, this is by far the
9:53
Speaker 6: best opponent, best opposition that they've played all season. And
9:56
Speaker 6: that's not a knock on the Princeton's Oak Hills, the Nitros,
9:59
Speaker 6: the teams they've played. Look, Bridgeport is very good every season,
10:03
Speaker 6: and to hear the people from Harrison County tell it,
10:05
Speaker 6: this year, they're not saying it definitively day. But they're
10:08
Speaker 6: saying this team's on the list of the best teams
10:11
Speaker 6: they've ever had up there, and that's saying a lot
10:14
Speaker 6: when you consider the football history at Bridgeport. Hoover's just
10:18
Speaker 6: got to keep doing what got them to this point.
10:20
Speaker 6: Lean on the guys that got you here. As good
10:22
Speaker 6: as Bridgeport is, I don't think there's an individual player
10:25
Speaker 6: on the field that's better at football at any given
10:27
Speaker 6: time than Dane Hatfield. When Dane Hatfield's on the field,
10:29
Speaker 6: he's the best football player offense or defense. Hasn't played
10:32
Speaker 6: much defense this year, but lean on him, Lean on
10:34
Speaker 6: your Blake Fishers. You know, Hoover's gotten to this point
10:38
Speaker 6: through a little bit of luck. They haven't faced many
10:40
Speaker 6: injuries at all this season. That's something that's been a
10:43
Speaker 6: trouble for them the last few years. They haven't turned
10:45
Speaker 6: the ball over a whole lot, and they haven't really
10:47
Speaker 6: had to play them from behind very much. They've been
10:50
Speaker 6: able to establish the lead and just kind of sit
10:52
Speaker 6: on it. Not sure that's going to be the case
10:54
Speaker 6: tomorrow afternoon when they take on Bridgeport, But if there's
10:57
Speaker 6: a recipe for success, it's just play a clean game.
11:00
Speaker 6: Play your game and hope for the best. They're going
11:03
Speaker 6: to have to play out of their minds to bring
11:06
Speaker 6: a title back to Elkfew on Saturday. But it's not
11:08
Speaker 6: out of the realm of possibility. They've passed all the
11:10
Speaker 6: tests so far. What's one more if you're the Huskies
11:12
Speaker 6: right now. The other side of that, though, Bridgeport, man,
11:15
Speaker 6: what a machine.
11:16
Speaker 3: Just keep going. If you're Bridgeport, play your game and
11:18
Speaker 3: finally Quada. Tomorrow night at seven o'clock. It's Martinsburg and
11:21
Speaker 3: spring Mills. These schools, I think Fred said something like
11:24
Speaker 3: they're like eighteen miles apart or something, maybe less than
11:27
Speaker 3: that on the off the interstate up there. But they're
11:29
Speaker 3: coming to Charleston. They're making the three hundred and fifty
11:31
Speaker 3: sixty mile whatever it is to get down there to play.
11:34
Speaker 3: Talk about these two before we go.
11:36
Speaker 6: You know, it's interesting the first Super Six when they
11:39
Speaker 6: went up to Wheeling, the double A game was Poka
11:41
Speaker 6: versus Systemville. Those teams are probably about as far away
11:44
Speaker 6: as spring Mills and Martinsburg. They had to go all
11:46
Speaker 6: the way up to Wheeling. The first one back in Charleston.
11:48
Speaker 6: Let's bring two teams from the Eastern bandhandle down to play.
11:51
Speaker 6: I think it's going to be a fantastic game. When
11:53
Speaker 6: they met in the regular season, it was kind of
11:55
Speaker 6: a game of the year type atmosphere up there. Martinsburg
11:58
Speaker 6: got the win, but it was and maybe before their
12:01
Speaker 6: semifinal game against Huntington last week, the biggest test that
12:03
Speaker 6: the Bulldogs faced all season. Really, the only spot where
12:06
Speaker 6: spring Mills is tripped up this season was that Martinsburg game.
12:09
Speaker 6: They've controversy ineligible players aside, they've been smashing people when
12:14
Speaker 6: they roll out there. I think Martinsburg probably is should
12:18
Speaker 6: be the favorite again. They won the regular season game.
12:20
Speaker 6: You're kind of you're the king until someone he knocks
12:22
Speaker 6: you off. But man, spring Mills is hungry. They've seen
12:25
Speaker 6: him once already. I think this one, man, it's got
12:28
Speaker 6: all the makings of being a classic. I hope that
12:30
Speaker 6: they're able to bring a really good crowd down. I
12:32
Speaker 6: know it's a long drive, but I think that type
12:34
Speaker 6: of game, the level they're going to play out is
12:36
Speaker 6: going to be really fun to watch for the folks
12:38
Speaker 6: that get to come down to the stadium and see
12:39
Speaker 6: it all.
12:39
Speaker 3: Right now, quickly, you got about thirty seconds here. I
12:41
Speaker 3: want to talk about. You mentioned this to me off
12:43
Speaker 3: their the last time that the Championships were played in Charleston.
12:49
Speaker 3: You were there, but you were how old? I was
12:51
Speaker 3: nine years old? Nine?
12:52
Speaker 6: It was nineteen ninety three. My grandpa worked for AT
12:54
Speaker 6: and T for years and years and years. I think
12:55
Speaker 6: they were one of the sponsors. So we got tickets
12:57
Speaker 6: to the Championships every year, and I remember we went
13:00
Speaker 6: to that DuPont Capital game.
13:01
Speaker 3: That was a fun one. It was indeed a good time.
13:03
Speaker 3: Great to see it back in Charleston again. Now a
13:05
Speaker 3: reminder that, of course we'll have all the games on
13:07
Speaker 3: the radio, but we'll also have the games at the
13:08
Speaker 3: website and you can download the Metro News TV app
13:11
Speaker 3: and you can watch all of the games. Tom. I
13:12
Speaker 3: know you'll be there, you and Murphy and Fred and
13:15
Speaker 3: everybody that's gonna be calling the games. Have a great
13:20
Speaker 3: series of broadcasts. Enjoy yourself, man, and stay out of trouble.
13:22
Speaker 6: Yeah, if you can't make it down in person, there's
13:24
Speaker 6: plenty of ways to watch it, no excuses. Everybody needs
13:26
Speaker 6: to support this thing. I think it's going to be fantastic,
13:28
Speaker 6: all right.
13:28
Speaker 3: Tom Brag I appreciate you being here, man. Thanks a
13:30
Speaker 3: lot now again, No Hannah Gardner this week because she's
13:34
Speaker 3: feeling none of the weather. We do have though our
13:37
Speaker 3: adopt me please spend it the week. Picture posted on
13:39
Speaker 3: Dave Allen Radio, on Facebook and at Dave A seventy
13:42
Speaker 3: and Twitter. The animal this week is a dog Tom
13:45

18:21
Speaker 10: Good morning death, and thank you so much for having me.
18:24
Speaker 3: Thank you for being here. Now, before we get to
18:26
Speaker 3: your work and your advice, tell us a little bit
18:29
Speaker 3: about you, because you have a very interesting story.
18:34
Speaker 10: Well where do I stop? It would take her own
18:38
Speaker 10: time to explain that I've done so many things in
18:42
Speaker 10: my life. And three and a half years ago I
18:45
Speaker 10: started to it and my first book was Wins from Ago.
18:51
Speaker 10: And this year I decided to write a book for
18:54
Speaker 10: children based on a display that I do every year.
18:59
Speaker 10: It's very large forting sheet by eight three, et cetera.
19:02
Speaker 10: It's inside the house. It has over thirty animations, and
19:07
Speaker 10: I created everything myself, and I created stories. So this
19:11
Speaker 10: year it's the first story of the series. Are going
19:15
Speaker 10: to write about that disclaim.
19:17
Speaker 3: Now, the book that we have is called that we
19:20
Speaker 3: want to talk to you about. It's called The Force.
19:22
Speaker 3: The Force Santas and UH and then the kids book
19:25
Speaker 3: tell us about the book because there are some very
19:28
Speaker 3: valuable lessons for adults in there, even though it's designed
19:31
Speaker 3: for kids.
19:33
Speaker 10: Yes, it's about Fanta Claus who UH discovered that it
19:41
Speaker 10: was very hard for him to reach all the kids
19:44
Speaker 10: all overund the world. There were more and more kids,
19:47
Speaker 10: so it decided to take help and it had brothers.
19:52
Speaker 10: So yeah, say, and that's basically the story. So they
19:56
Speaker 10: each came with their own talents, it is, and they
20:01
Speaker 10: were so eager to help their brothers. So it's a
20:04
Speaker 10: very happy story. And it reminds us that we two
20:10
Speaker 10: during this period of time, the Christmas season, the holiday
20:13
Speaker 10: season is very sorry, joyful, but also very stressful, and
20:19
Speaker 10: we bring up upon ourselves because we put too much
20:23
Speaker 10: on our plate. And I have a few advice to
20:28
Speaker 10: help and it helps not only for Christmas, but any
20:31
Speaker 10: major events really when you have to organize something very
20:34
Speaker 10: big and it's very just. So first of all, it's
20:37
Speaker 10: to prioritize and plan early, like the Christmas letter, for instance,
20:44
Speaker 10: it's good to think of about it, maybe in November.
20:48
Speaker 10: What are you going to put in it? So when
20:50
Speaker 10: it's ready, you have your letters. You can't send it
20:52
Speaker 10: early December and it's out of the way. But also
20:56
Speaker 10: make a list for shopping, booking, travel as well. That's
21:01
Speaker 10: important to do it early. Planning meals, parties, et cetera.
21:05
Speaker 10: So it's good to have a plan and write it
21:08
Speaker 10: down and prioritize and then delegate tasks like hans I did.
21:15
Speaker 10: It's very important to be able to ask for help.
21:19
Speaker 10: And it could be about decorating, cooking, and actually it
21:23
Speaker 10: could be a lot of fun cooking. It could be
21:26
Speaker 10: taking cookies with neighbors or close friends and it's a
21:31
Speaker 10: joyful event and it could become a tradition every year.
21:35
Speaker 10: So why not also sex realistic expectations. It doesn't have
21:44
Speaker 10: to be perfect. I mean, the days leading to Christmas
21:48
Speaker 10: and all those things you do don't have to be perfect.
21:52
Speaker 10: What's very important is spending quality times that loved ones.
21:57
Speaker 10: That's the most important. It's the time to reopen your
22:02
Speaker 10: door to maybe friends you haven't seen for a long time.
22:05
Speaker 10: Also those two people who are maybe lonely and who
22:11
Speaker 10: care to have, you know, contact with somebody. So so
22:17
Speaker 10: that's that's quite important to do. And also stay flexible
22:23
Speaker 10: on task because you have a lot of shopping to
22:26
Speaker 10: do and sometimes it's difficult because kids want to certain
22:31
Speaker 10: things are very specific things a certain color or certain size,
22:34
Speaker 10: et cetera, and you don't always find that. So one
22:38
Speaker 10: while you're shop in stores, it's it's a very specific
22:42
Speaker 10: item is not available. It's important to stay open and
22:46
Speaker 10: explore alternatives and in bracelet flexibility in your search. And yeah,
22:55
Speaker 10: that's that's important. And with creativity, if the items you
23:00
Speaker 10: want or the child you want is not there, you
23:03
Speaker 10: might find an explanation or something that is totally acceptable
23:08
Speaker 10: or even better than what your child thought about. So
23:13
Speaker 10: and also extremely important is to carve out quiet moments.
23:20
Speaker 10: It's very very important to make time for yourself, a
23:25
Speaker 10: short walk, meditation, reading your holiday story like The First
23:31
Speaker 10: Night that's my book. Can know it's for your spirit.
23:34
Speaker 10: But there are a lot of little things that you
23:37
Speaker 10: can do, and it doesn't have to be normal. You
23:41
Speaker 10: carve maybe a few minutes here or an hour there,
23:45
Speaker 10: or short walk to do, a short walk or something
23:49
Speaker 10: that you that you want to do. Is you do
23:52
Speaker 10: you not have responsibility to you? Is you're just yourself
23:55
Speaker 10: for a christ a short while, that's very very important.
23:59
Speaker 10: So there's all these things are good emphasize for people
24:06
Speaker 10: to do. And it's not only for Christmas the holidays,
24:10
Speaker 10: but also anything big that you have to organize, any
24:14
Speaker 10: mature event that you have to face. It's always good
24:19
Speaker 10: to follow these, uh, you know, Disney guidelines.
24:24
Speaker 3: We're talking with author Lilly and Fortune. The book is
24:27
Speaker 3: entitled The Four Santas, and I'm presuming that you try
24:30
Speaker 3: as best you can to do these things in your
24:33
Speaker 3: life too.
24:33
Speaker 10: Right, Yes, I do. I have to admit sometimes it's oops,
24:39
Speaker 10: I have to remember to do it myself. But but
24:42
Speaker 10: it does felt that i'd be quite organized that it's
24:45
Speaker 10: one of the girls I have learned to do that
24:48
Speaker 10: and it makes such a big difference to be to
24:51
Speaker 10: follow these guidelines. Yeah, I'm doing that muchself.
24:58
Speaker 3: You try it, try it as best you can. Yeah. Anyway,
25:00
Speaker 3: the book is called The for Santas and you could

25:22
Speaker 3: All right, thank you very much. It is twenty twenty
25:26
Speaker 3: eight minutes now before the hour ten cos. Yeah, I
25:28
Speaker 3: think that's you know, good advice this time of year.
25:30
Speaker 3: It's just just just slow down a little bit and
25:33
Speaker 3: realize that you don't have to do everything at one time,
25:37
Speaker 3: you know, and it only comes around once a year,
25:40
Speaker 3: although it seems like it just never ends because now
25:42
Speaker 3: we start celebrating Christmas and whatnot, you know, in September.

26:42
Speaker 3: of course more on the rich Rod situation. And I
26:44

Speaker 3: have lunch. Are you starting to get the theme here
31:25
Speaker 3: that I enjoyed eating. Uh, But I got a chance
31:28
Speaker 3: to walk around the market a little bit twice this week.
31:30
Speaker 3: A lot of exciting stuff going on, and you got
31:32
Speaker 3: plenty more to go.
31:32
Speaker 4: Yep, We're we're coming into uh you know, really the
31:37
Speaker 4: the the make or break a couple of weeks for
31:42
Speaker 4: us to put it and uh it's you know, obviously
31:46
Speaker 4: the holidays are a powerful economic driver. And then we're
31:50
Speaker 4: we're really excited to kick off our last weekend of
31:53
Speaker 4: the Holiday Village. This weekend, I've got a fantastic lineup.
31:56
Speaker 4: Two of my favorite local bands, Hot Jazz of Charleston
32:00
Speaker 4: and Golden, will be joining us starting tonight with Hot
32:04
Speaker 4: Jazz and then Tomorrow night with Golden six to nine pm.
32:09
Speaker 4: Just like last weekend, fantastic food lineup, some really incredible
32:15
Speaker 4: small business vendors curated through festival.
32:20
Speaker 3: And it's gonna be warmer.
32:21
Speaker 4: I think that it was, yeah, just fantastic, but no,
32:27
Speaker 4: this is uh, this is what we're all about. This
32:29
Speaker 4: is why we do what we do, and it's all about,
32:33
Speaker 4: you know, reinforcing what makes our community great, celebrating the
32:38
Speaker 4: the experts at their craft. You know, this weekend we're
32:41
Speaker 4: we're partnering with Morgan to at Rock City Cake Company
32:46
Speaker 4: to build some gingerbread houses. Uh got ted armbricked at
32:50
Speaker 4: the wine shop doing a winter wine tasting. There are
32:53
Speaker 4: so many people that just do incredible work in our
32:56
Speaker 4: community and it's just you know, this is one more
32:59
Speaker 4: opportunity for us to highlight them. Johnny's, Christina and Philip
33:03
Speaker 4: and making brats all weekend.
33:08
Speaker 3: Very excited for them. I mean there's so much going
33:10
Speaker 3: on over there year round, but especially now. I mean,
33:13
Speaker 3: this is kind of like, you know, I mean it's
33:15
Speaker 3: there's always exciting stuff at Capital Market, but this is
33:17
Speaker 3: really your season, you know, and so many different things
33:21
Speaker 3: going on there.
33:22
Speaker 4: I mean, at risk of you know, saying that every
33:25
Speaker 4: season is my favorite, it's well and it's different. You know,
33:30
Speaker 4: come through the spring and summer, so much of our
33:33
Speaker 4: focus shifts towards, you know, supporting West Virginia farmers and
33:38
Speaker 4: the agriculture community here in our state, and so as
33:42
Speaker 4: we get into the winter months, we look to see
33:46
Speaker 4: what they do with that product and how they turn
33:48
Speaker 4: it into things that have obviously a longer shelf life, and.
33:53
Speaker 3: Some of the.
33:54
Speaker 4: Creative ways in which you can think about things that.
33:59
Speaker 3: You never would have thought of.
34:01
Speaker 4: And it's it's it's a it's a whole lot of
34:07
Speaker 4: fun right now. I just you know, I get I
34:10
Speaker 4: get passionate, I get worked up about it. But uh,
34:13
Speaker 4: I think also, you know, again, as we kind of
34:16
Speaker 4: reflect back on on the year, it's just it fills
34:19
Speaker 4: me with gratitude. I'm extremely grateful to get to do
34:21
Speaker 4: what I do, to work with the folks that I
34:24
Speaker 4: do from our board of directors, our staff.
34:28
Speaker 3: Uh they uh.
34:31
Speaker 4: Sometimes maybe roll their eyes at some of the some
34:34
Speaker 4: of the ideas.
34:35
Speaker 3: But that's what you do to bosses, you know, That's
34:38
Speaker 3: what you do.
34:38
Speaker 4: And uh, you know, I I'm just so grateful that
34:42
Speaker 4: there they're trust, that they'll put that trust in us
34:44
Speaker 4: to to be able to try things like Holiday Village.
34:48
Speaker 4: You know, this is only the second year that we've
34:49
Speaker 4: done it. How do we build upon it? How do
34:51
Speaker 4: we make it better? What what can we do that
34:54
Speaker 4: you know isn't holly jolly Brawley or late the night?
34:57
Speaker 4: How can we put a unique capital market spend on
35:00
Speaker 4: on the things that really make the market.
35:04
Speaker 3: And one of the great things too is I mean,
35:06
Speaker 3: no matter what you again we're talking with Evan Osborne
35:08
Speaker 3: from Capital Market, it wouldn't matter what you programming that
35:11
Speaker 3: you put in there at the public didn't support it
35:14
Speaker 3: and didn't come out for it, it's all wasted exactly.
35:17
Speaker 3: And when I was over there, like I said, I
35:19
Speaker 3: was over there twice this week and I noticed, you know,
35:22
Speaker 3: it was how crowded it was around lunchtime. Then I
35:24
Speaker 3: go on social media and I see the pictures that
35:27
Speaker 3: you've got posted of all these different events at night.
35:29
Speaker 3: I mean some of those things are like standing room
35:31
Speaker 3: only over there. And it just goes to show you
35:34
Speaker 3: how much the whole concept of Capital Market has and
35:37
Speaker 3: the people of the Kanawh Valley and other places have
35:40
Speaker 3: have just totally embraced this. And and I will tell
35:44
Speaker 3: you that anytime that people come in from out of town,
35:49
Speaker 3: if you talk, if they talk to the staff at
35:50
Speaker 3: the hotel, they talked to the Uber driver, whatever, they say, Well,
35:53
Speaker 3: what do I need I'm in town for business, I've
35:55
Speaker 3: got some time to kill. What do I need to see?
35:57
Speaker 3: In Charleston. Numero Uno is capital Market.
36:01
Speaker 4: And I think you hit the nail on the head.
36:04
Speaker 4: Where we do house the visitor center for the for
36:08
Speaker 4: the Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau, we're an opportunity to
36:14
Speaker 4: set the tone for for people's first experience to the
36:16
Speaker 4: capital city.
36:17
Speaker 3: And we don't take that lightly.
36:18
Speaker 4: We want to make sure that you know one they're
36:23
Speaker 4: they're seeing all that we have to offer just from
36:27
Speaker 4: the people that you know. And I think that's one
36:29
Speaker 4: of the things about the market.
36:30
Speaker 3: It's the people.
36:31
Speaker 4: It's Keniche at the wine shop, it's mister Harrison, so
36:34
Speaker 4: it's Sarah Purple Onion, Christina Johnny's just these are very
36:40
Speaker 4: much family and they they extend that warmth and that
36:45
Speaker 4: welcomeness to two folks that have never been And I
36:49
Speaker 4: think that, you know, if we can put that experience
36:54
Speaker 4: and people, they'll they'll come back, they'll come back, they'll
36:56
Speaker 4: spend those dollars, and it's, uh, it's not something that
37:02
Speaker 4: that you necessarily associate with repeat visits to town, but
37:10
Speaker 4: it's the thing that they're going to remember when they
37:14
Speaker 4: go home and then think about when where they want
37:16
Speaker 4: to come back and visit. And so we try to
37:18
Speaker 4: keep that top of mind all the time.
37:19
Speaker 3: Tex says, Evan is a real life Santa Claus. And
37:22
Speaker 3: Capital Market and all its workers are like North Pole
37:24
Speaker 3: and its elves. You're a real life Santa Claus. Somebody
37:28
Speaker 3: the other.
37:28
Speaker 4: Night mentioned that I might be slowly actually morphing into
37:32
Speaker 4: Santa Claus. I see the slow creep of white into the.
37:35
Speaker 3: It happens, happens, are the best of it. So Dave
37:37

38:00
Speaker 3: start your journey towards better health today. All right, so
38:02
Speaker 3: we're going to get back to a holiday village here
38:04
Speaker 3: in a couple of moments. But I got to ask
38:05
Speaker 3: you now. Earlier this week, I see that Margaret and
38:10
Speaker 3: the folks at the United Way of their air Central
38:13
Speaker 3: West Virginia have a downstairs of coming lineup for Dancing
38:16
Speaker 3: with the Stars, And I noticed, Evan, that you are
38:23
Speaker 3: going to be one of the dancers in this and
38:26
Speaker 3: your partner you kind of referenced her earlier. Your partner
38:30
Speaker 3: is Morgan Morrison of Rock City. Do you know how
38:34
Speaker 3: to dance at all?
38:35
Speaker 4: Well, those that have known me, like you for a
38:39
Speaker 4: fairly long time, really know that dancing is a passion
38:41
Speaker 4: of mine. It's something that I've done.
38:43
Speaker 3: Now you mean serious, No, Okay, I thought, so that's
38:46
Speaker 3: one of the things. No, it's so you can get
38:51
Speaker 3: by with that because right now we don't have the
38:52
Speaker 3: TV cameras in here. But come first of the year
38:55
Speaker 3: when this, when this show and other shows, when everything
38:58
Speaker 3: is on the television. But people can see that you're
39:01
Speaker 3: full of crap.
39:02
Speaker 4: Well, I tell you what, once once we get into
39:06
Speaker 4: the new year, and Morgan and I really begin, you know,
39:10
Speaker 4: refining our craft.
39:11
Speaker 3: Okay, we'll we'll come back. We'll give you a little
39:15
Speaker 3: all right, all right right here in this and.
39:17
Speaker 4: The But but I think also too, you know, one, no,
39:20
Speaker 4: I am not a dancer. I am very much putty
39:26
Speaker 4: in in Morgan's hands, so to speak. I'm gonna follow
39:29
Speaker 4: her creative vision and trust that that she knows how
39:32
Speaker 4: to execute this. She's just a powerhouse and in town
39:36
Speaker 4: and you know, from Holly Jolly Browbly to the work
39:38
Speaker 4: she does at Rock City. Just I'm grateful to have
39:42
Speaker 4: to have her uh as as my wingman for this.
39:45
Speaker 4: And uh you know, really I think too, I don't
39:48
Speaker 4: want any of this to get lost in the shuffle.
39:50
Speaker 4: Is that, you know, I see day in day out,
39:52
Speaker 4: the fantastic work that united Way at Central West Virginia
39:55
Speaker 4: does in our community. And anytime we have the opportunity
39:58
Speaker 4: to give back to an organization that gives some much
40:00
Speaker 4: to us, I think it makes it much easier to
40:03
Speaker 4: say yes, uh, than than otherwise. I think I would
40:07
Speaker 4: have probably been happy to donate, but not necessarily dance.
40:12
Speaker 3: And I will tell you I have known Morgan Morrison
40:15
Speaker 3: longer than anybody in Charleston has as we are from
40:18
Speaker 3: the same place. And uh, she's she's an l a girl,
40:22
Speaker 3: but but she's done pretty well for herself here in Charleston.
40:24
Speaker 3: And it's going to be interesting to see. But uh,
40:26
Speaker 3: how you guys kind of gel together in this thing?
40:29
Speaker 3: And we'll have you on. And by the way, last
40:31
Speaker 3: year I had a couple of the teams on. I
40:33
Speaker 3: had people, So why did you have all the teams? Well,
40:34
Speaker 3: they didn't ask, So any of the teams out there
40:37
Speaker 3: that want to come on, all you had to do is
40:38
Speaker 3: reach out to me, and I'll have you in because
40:40
Speaker 3: it's all about you know, raising money and so on
40:41
Speaker 3: and so forth. So we're looking forward to seeing how
40:44
Speaker 3: you and Morgan will gel together in your in your
40:46
Speaker 3: your dance, your dance duo. Uh. Another text here for you.
40:51
Speaker 3: And and I'm going to presume this person knows you
40:53
Speaker 3: pretty well, says Chris Kringle. Was a redhead in the
40:55
Speaker 3: Christmas classic Santa Claus was Coming to town. You are
40:57
Speaker 3: also a redhead. So maybe this you know, this text
41:01
Speaker 3: is thinking that maybe they'll give you some divine inspiration
41:04
Speaker 3: for something. Let's again talk about Holiday Village.
41:07
Speaker 4: Go ahead right again this weekends. The last weekend for
41:10
Speaker 4: Holiday Village at Capital Market starts this evening, runs from
41:13
Speaker 4: six to nine pm. Fantastic lineup highlighting all of our
41:17
Speaker 4: food vendors inside and out. Indoor market is also open
41:21
Speaker 4: till nine pm. Fantastic programming, live music, plenty of stuff
41:25
Speaker 4: for the kids. Come join us, make it a strong
41:31
Speaker 4: push into into the new year. I'm just again fantastically
41:35
Speaker 4: grateful for all the support in our community. Thank you
41:37
Speaker 4: all so much. Come come celebrate with us, all right.
41:40
Speaker 3: Evin Osborn, Capital Market. I appreciate you being here.
41:42
Speaker 5: Man.
41:42
Speaker 3: Now you gotta get out here and get get practice.
41:44
Speaker 3: And once you get through the Christmas season, absolutely you
41:46
Speaker 3: had you got a mirror ball to win for sure.
41:49
Speaker 3: Evan Osborn for Capital Market. Coming up on Monday show,
41:51
Speaker 3: We're going to continue some of the Christmas Talk with
41:52
Speaker 3: a gentleman named Justin Knapp with the group Bridging Resources
41:55
Speaker 3: West Virginia. Interesting work he and his group are doing.
41:58
Speaker 3: We'll talk to him about that on the Monday Show.
42:00
Speaker 3: And somebody asked me the other day about the show
42:03
Speaker 3: that I do generally around it depends on how the
42:06
Speaker 3: calendar falls, but around the day before Christmas Eve or
42:09
Speaker 3: on Christmas Eve when I bring in Mike Pushkin and
42:11
Speaker 3: we call it, I forget the gigantic Jewish Christmas Spectacular
42:18
Speaker 3: is what we call it. And somebody asked me the
42:20
Speaker 3: other day, am I going to bring Pushkin in? That's
42:22
Speaker 3: today when we do not talk politics at all, I
42:25
Speaker 3: bring Pushkin in with his guitar. Our good friend Rich
42:28
Speaker 3: Lindsay and his law firm are always very good about
42:31
Speaker 3: sponsoring that. So I'm going to go ahead and tell you,
42:34
Speaker 3: mister Osborne that it is going to be on Christmas Eve.
42:37
Speaker 3: It's going to be on the twenty fourth. So if
42:39
Speaker 3: you are around and about and you want to and
42:41
Speaker 3: I don't know what's going on in the Capitol market
42:43
Speaker 3: on the day of Christmas Eve, but if you have
42:45
Speaker 3: an opportunity, you are more than welcome to come in
42:47
Speaker 3: because it's kind of like an open house here for Christmas.
42:50
Speaker 3: And I bring, as I said, Pushkin and his guitar.
42:52
Speaker 3: Last year, I think we had Kate boytech on the show.
42:54
Speaker 3: So whoever wants to come in can come in. I'll
42:57
Speaker 3: bring the food, food. What do we have it. It's
43:01
Speaker 3: a surprise, suddenly, Matt Murphy across the hall set. I'm
43:04
Speaker 3: producing that day. I'm producing that day. All right, Evan,
43:06
Speaker 3: I appreciate it. But you're invited to come back on
43:08
Speaker 3: the twenty four. Thanks a lot. Always a pleasure, all right, man.
43:10
Speaker 3: We'll go to take a break. We'll be back after this.
43:12
Speaker 3: I'm the Voice of Charleston WCCHS.

46:11
Speaker 3: What I like to do, you know, weekly and Coop
46:13
Speaker 3: do this thing on hotline that they call the follow
46:15
Speaker 3: up fileers some things that they didn't get to. And yesterday,
46:19
Speaker 3: as I said, when we were talking about this horrific,
46:22
Speaker 3: this bizarre story out of the Eastern Panhand, when I
46:25
Speaker 3: had a million nicely on and TJ. Meadows to talk about,
46:28
Speaker 3: where the delegate up there, Joe DeSoto, well, the delegate
46:31
Speaker 3: elect I suppose, was threatening to kill other House of
46:35
Speaker 3: Delegates members. He remains allegedly he remains in jail at
46:39
Speaker 3: this time. But it seem the more people wanted to
46:42
Speaker 3: talk about the rich Rodrika situation, and so I didn't
46:45
Speaker 3: get to all the texts yesterday. So I'm going to
46:48
Speaker 3: try to get to some of those texts today, because
46:49
Speaker 3: I like to try to get to as many texts
46:51
Speaker 3: as possible, even if they're, you know, twenty four hours old. Now,
46:54
Speaker 3: this text from yesterday did not have to do with
46:57
Speaker 3: that situation though, but it had to do was response
46:59
Speaker 3: to another textas says Hey Dave to the texture winding
47:03
Speaker 3: about January six ers and calling Republicans and moral newsflash,
47:06
Speaker 3: the election was a blowout. Republican president, Republican majority Senate,
47:10
Speaker 3: and Republican majority House. Our country has spoken and have
47:13
Speaker 3: said the Democrats as a whole have become morally bankrop
47:17
Speaker 3: says a text we were talking about with a million
47:22
Speaker 3: iicley yesterday. I was talking about the problems with discipline
47:26
Speaker 3: and our school system, and especially when it comes to
47:29
Speaker 3: elementary kids. This is not high schoolers. I mean, I'm
47:33
Speaker 3: not saying there's not problems here too, but this is
47:35
Speaker 3: elementary school kids. And you recall in the legislature during
47:38
Speaker 3: interims this week that there was some testimony featuring some teachers,
47:44
Speaker 3: principles of other school personnel about the problems that they face,
47:47
Speaker 3: and we kind of got into that yesterday. This text
47:49
Speaker 3: has to go along with that, says Dave called it awful,
47:52
Speaker 3: But the truth is that back in the seventies and eighties,
47:54
Speaker 3: kids were not as out of control or tried to
47:57
Speaker 3: hurt or kill family, teachers, or classmates as they are now.
48:00
Speaker 3: The difference parents and teachers were allowed and encouraged to
48:04
Speaker 3: spank kids when they deserve it. It taught respect, says
48:08
Speaker 3: a texture. The only thing that I would say about that,
48:12
Speaker 3: And again, this is where I disagree with you know
48:14
Speaker 3: a lot of a lot of people, and that's okay.
48:17
Speaker 3: I am one hundred percent for corporal punishment, one hundred
48:21
Speaker 3: percent for it, okay, but it depends on the situation.
48:25
Speaker 3: And these kids that we heard about during these uh
48:30
Speaker 3: these testimonies during the interims this week, I don't know
48:35
Speaker 3: that this is going to help them because these are
48:37
Speaker 3: this is a different realm. This is not again, this
48:39
Speaker 3: is not kids that are chewing gum in class. Okay.
48:42
Speaker 3: This is not kids that are talking disrupting classes. Believe
48:45
Speaker 3: it or not, I used to do. I know you
48:47
Speaker 3: find that shocking, but these are these are kids that
48:50
Speaker 3: are doing a lot of bad stuff. So I don't
48:51
Speaker 3: know that it would necessarily work in all cads. And
48:54
Speaker 3: that's what this texture says. Beating kids at school will
48:57
Speaker 3: only increase increase rather school shooting, says a Texture Midave Island,

49:18
Speaker 3: the coaching situation, tex says, I wish to give you
49:20
Speaker 3: the best, but Marshall fans will turn on him like
49:23
Speaker 3: they did Doc due to his WVU ties, says a Texter.
49:28
Speaker 3: Talking about Capital Market, text says Capital Market features West
49:31
Speaker 3: Virginia made gifts and has a great book selection of
49:33
Speaker 3: West Virginia authors. I would agree on that, text, says Dave.
49:38
Speaker 3: I would not be spending a dime on Mountaineer merchandise
49:41
Speaker 3: or going to the games in the future. By hiring
49:44
Speaker 3: rich rod Back. The university has proven that they don't
49:46
Speaker 3: care at all about their fans and that character doesn't matter.
49:51
Speaker 3: Tex says, uh, I'll clean it up A little bit.
49:53
Speaker 3: Heck no to Rod Tech says the rich rod Hire
49:59
Speaker 3: just shows where we are as a society. This is
50:02
Speaker 3: a man that quit on his team and the WU
50:04
Speaker 3: fans to go to Michigan only to be proven that
50:06
Speaker 3: he isn't a good coach. Now he's being brought back
50:09
Speaker 3: and we're supposed to forget all the bad stuff he did.
50:12
Speaker 3: No thanks, says a Texter. Older adults should protect themselves.
50:16
Speaker 3: Agains severe respiratory disease, talk to your doctor about flu,
50:19
Speaker 3: COVID nineteen and RSV vaccines risk less do more get
50:22
Speaker 3: started at vaccines dot gov, paid for by the US
50:25
Speaker 3: Department of Health and Human Services. Tex says beating children
50:29
Speaker 3: does it and still respect It instills fear and disdain. Again,
50:33
Speaker 3: I think it depends on the kid, and I am
50:37
Speaker 3: not a parent. I've said that numerous times on the show,
50:41
Speaker 3: but I will I will say it. It depends on
50:46
Speaker 3: the kid. Tex says Gibson is a better higher than
50:51
Speaker 3: rich rod Texas once again the pathetic Texters justify a
50:56
Speaker 3: rapist and January sixth violence can only say look at
51:00
Speaker 3: an election. Tell us why it's honorable to attack the
51:03
Speaker 3: capitol and do nothing to stop it. Honor isn't measured
51:06
Speaker 3: by what is popular or accepted. Republicans have no honor.
51:10
Speaker 3: As a text TEXTA says done with WVU football. Forever
51:14
Speaker 3: go Marshall and coach Gibson. Texays, welcome home, rich Rod,
51:19
Speaker 3: don't let the negative Nellies get to you, and let's
51:22
Speaker 3: go Mountaineers. Tex says Dave. When can we expect rich
51:28
Speaker 3: Rod on your show or on talk line? I would say, again,
51:33
Speaker 3: I don't know. Hobby's been on vacation this week, maybe
51:35
Speaker 3: maybe next week. Don't know that to be a fact.
51:38
Speaker 3: Hoppy will be back next week, so possibly he'll be
51:41
Speaker 3: on then. I know the press conference is at the
51:42
Speaker 3: Kittle see him today in Morgantown starting at one thirty.
51:46
Speaker 3: But if he's going to be on, I would say
51:47
Speaker 3: it would probably be next week. If he is, I
51:50
Speaker 3: don't know, Tex says, or WU fans just realizing their
51:53
Speaker 3: cash cows for the people at the top. Will they
51:55
Speaker 3: come to this realization about Trump too? Tex says it's
51:59
Speaker 3: hard to believe that the state that overwhelmingly voted Donald
52:02
Speaker 3: Trump into a second term would take exception to the
52:04
Speaker 3: moral capacity of rich Roth. Texas David's sad that people
52:09
Speaker 3: are more interested in talking about sports than focusing on
52:11
Speaker 3: the violence that is the Republican Party, where you have
52:14
Speaker 3: delegates threatening to kill each other. Well, this was one delegate,
52:17
Speaker 3: and that delegate's now a Democrat. Tex says, loving the
52:19
Speaker 3: fact that these snowflakes are upset that real mouth and
52:22
Speaker 3: ears are coming home. Let's go WVU. Tex says, done
52:25
Speaker 3: with WVU forever? All right, I find that very hard

Speaker 3: to believe it. We got to leave it there. Thank
