- 0:18ways of thinking, and just bring some.

- 0:22Coop and let's start your day off in a fantastic way.
- 0:27Hey everybody, good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30So today is a is a day for me where I'm out.
- 0:33I'm setting up all of the window boxes on the chicken coop.
- 0:37I actually don't even have window boxes on the House.
- 0:39I have them on the chicken coop. I have too many plants around
- 0:42the rest of the house so on the porches.
- 0:45So no window boxes. But in any event, I'm setting
- 0:48them all up. We've got multiple ones that
- 0:51have to be done and this is part of what I love to think of as
- 0:55deliberate creation. Now do I have to do this?
- 0:58Do the chicken, does the chicken coop really need to have window
- 1:01boxes? No, it doesn't.
- 1:03I don't know that they care. I care.
- 1:06Do do they feel like they have to have they have a little wagon
- 1:10that it actually was a wagon we were using to play pull behind
- 1:14the the vehicle when we were going and getting supplies.
- 1:17And the wagon wheel broke. And I said, rather than getting
- 1:21rid of the wagon because it was an older wagon that we had
- 1:23gotten, I said, I would prefer that we keep the wagon and we
- 1:28use it for them to have something to hide under in the,
- 1:32you know, event of an air attack.
- 1:34And my friends always laugh when I say that, but it's very true.
- 1:38There are big air attacks here when the Hawks come down.
- 1:42And so they need a place to run to often.
- 1:45And that happened to be a perfect little spot.
- 1:48So right off the edge of the garden, there is a wagon.
- 1:51And I have put window boxes on it so one we can see the the
- 1:56window boxes filled with flowers.
- 1:58And it's it's cute. I'll post a picture of it, but
- 2:00it's it, it to me, it just makes perfect sense.
- 2:04Now this is part of deliberate creation.
- 2:07I have all these other spots that have flowers.
- 2:10I have the, the, the visuals of how things go.
- 2:13Everything that I do, I work on making it be very deliberate
- 2:17because I want it to feel and look a certain way.
- 2:20I have a very specific thing with this and it's because I
- 2:24want it to feel like right now I'm out here and the sun is
- 2:27coming up and the pic and you know, the lighting is coming
- 2:29across the garden and it just looks so pretty.
- 2:33But it's part of that deliberate.
- 2:35Where is the sun going to come up?
- 2:37It's thinking of the details. It's going into it.
- 2:40It's like finding I want their front of their gate to have all
- 2:44of this, these different florals that are coming up, all
- 2:48different flowers. And it's working, but it takes
- 2:51time and deliberate creation often takes time and we have to
- 2:56be patient with it. So I'm not always the most
- 2:59patient person and I have to remind myself deliberate
- 3:02creation takes time. Deliberate creation takes time
- 3:06and I've got to allow myself to do it.
- 3:09My problem is my creative brain usually never shuts off.
- 3:13So it's obviously always working and morphing.
- 3:16And this is where I can sometimes have to temper myself
- 3:20and say, OK, did I finish what my first one was?
- 3:23Do I need to pull back? Where do I need to go?
- 3:25Because I have really like, that is a true thing for me.
- 3:28Like I just keep going with ideas and growing and growing
- 3:32and growing. And sometimes it's like a lot
- 3:34even for me. And I have to say, no, I'm going
- 3:37to finish this. So over the years I have learned
- 3:40that I can pace myself and I can say, OK, that is a great idea.
- 3:44I'm going to use it, but just not right now.
- 3:46I'm going to put this in the parking lot.
- 3:48And I have a notebook and I write it on the cover of it.
- 3:51It's the parking lot. And I put ideas in there that
- 3:55I'm not ready to drive, but I know that I want to do.
- 3:58And then I can go to it. And I add to this parking lot a
- 4:01lot. I go to it, I pull out the idea
- 4:03that I may have had. I want to make sure I come back
- 4:06to them. Like I have a vacation coming up
- 4:09and one of the things I want to do on my vacation is renovate
- 4:12the inside of the chicken coop. You know it's been 2 years since
- 4:16this coop was painted inside. I have a new idea for how I want
- 4:21to add an area for where the babies would go when we hatch
- 4:26more out probably next year. And I, I want to renovate it
- 4:31before it gets too hot. Now, some might say, well,
- 4:34that's not a fun thing to do on your vacation, but it is for me.
- 4:39And one of the things that I think is so important to
- 4:42remember is when you're deliberately creating, you often
- 4:45feel rejuvenated. And that's what a vacation is
- 4:48all about. I'm not the kind of person that
- 4:50likes to just go sit somewhere and I and I just like, I love
- 4:56thinking and deliberately putting something out there.
- 4:59So for me it's great. So you've got to know yourself.
- 5:03You've got to temper yourself. You're going to think about what
- 5:05you want to, to deliberately create and stay focused on that.
- 5:10And then you can add more to it. But it's just saying the words.
- 5:14I'm going to deliberately create this.
- 5:16I'm going to do this this way. It's when you make declarations.
- 5:19The Iams are such a big part of the process.
- 5:22So give it a try and see if it works for you.
- 5:25All right, my friends, I hope you have a blessed day and I
- 5:27will see you tomorrow. Bye.
