- 0:02SPEAKER_01: Alright, we got a little distracted there when I was telling you my tooth story and what we discovered yesterday, which I just feel kind of cool that I can walk around and say, yeah, I gotta split tooth right all the way down.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: I think after you have your wisdom tooth taken out, because they're just taking one.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: That's it.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: Just the one.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: Everything else is fine in there.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: You're gonna want to lay on the couch when I had my wisdom teeth taken out.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: So I had all four taken out.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: And they gave me oxy or something.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: I don't remember, because I was in high school.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: I literally slept for four days.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: I don't expect to be this bad.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: You know, she because she numbed me yesterday and she goes, Have you ever had your mouth numbed before?
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: And I go, No, I don't think so.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: I think if anything, you would have done it forever.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: She goes, I don't think yet we ever did.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: She goes, but you tolerated it extremely well.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: So I think I'll be all right with that.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, the good news is, and one of the discussions you missed while you were gone was because I've now realized that uh I have an exceptional amount of vacation time until now in the end of the year, which I refuse to lose.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: Uh, you may not see me on a Monday for the remainder of the year.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: I just want to point that out.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: That's a great idea.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: I I know somebody else who has done that for a very long time, or they'll take like Mondays and Fridays.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: What a great week you have.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's possible.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: I gotta save a little bit for around Christmas time because we always do that.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Back to now, finishing off, let's let's finish off the health update.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: Right before Allie left.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: Literally the night before.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: I remember the text vividly.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: You're like, I may not be in tomorrow.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: I've been, you know, barfing all night and this and that.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: And and we finally, and then you showed up, and actually, you got better throughout the morning.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Um, and I kept thinking you had a bad shrimp because you and Zach ate the same thing, and it could have been one bad one.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: And then I the uh later that day had some stomach pains.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: And this is I didn't see you because I was leaving on vacation.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: And my parents were coming into town, and so I was experiencing some stomach pains.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Now, this is not the first time this has happened.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: What I never told anyone except for Zach was about a month ago, I also was having some stomach pains where I I had thrown up.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: So then we leave for our trip on a uh oh what Wednesday morning.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Wednesday morning, so it was a week ago.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: And we get on the first flight and everything's fine.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: We get some snacks, they give us like a, you know, those like little cookies or whatever, and we eat them.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: And all of a sudden I'm getting off of the first flight to get on the second flight, and oh man, my stomach was hurting so bad.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Oh wow.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: And I I said, I gotta go to the bathroom right now and for our layover.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: And I'm sweating, I'm trying to throw up.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: I am thinking, I don't I don't know.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: It's always a great sound when you're in the airport.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Someone's like, Oh, it was.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: It was.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: I and I at one point there was a cleaning lady in you know, where all the terminals and all that stuff are.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: There's a cleaning lady, and I go up to her and I said, Can I have a plastic bag?
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Because I'm all I'm thinking is I just need to get to New Orleans.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're right.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: And uh she's like, she didn't speak English, and she was like, What?
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: And so I point to the plastic bag and she's like, You want this?
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: And yes, yes, I want that.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: There's a purpose.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: So then I said to Zach, also, I need to sit in the very last seat.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: So I'm not gonna sit with you.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna ask if I can have the very last seat close to the bathroom.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: And okay, yep, no problem.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: So here's what I have deduced after eating what I ate and looking at all the different things that I ate and correlating something.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: I think I'm gluten-free.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna have I'm gonna have to have gluten free.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: It's Scott and Gail in the morning.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I know that because the only thing I ate were those cookies.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's interesting.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Yes, and those are those like hard wafer things that they'll gather the name for them, and I can't remember.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Not the biscoffs, but it's something it's like Remy's or whatever.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: And so I'm like, wait, I ate pasta the one time and my stomach hurt.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: The um lunch that I had right before my parents were there, whatever it was, it was like uh it was some like bread or something like that.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: And then the cookies But I've seen you I'm sorry, didn't mean for my voice to crack like I was eight again.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: Uh eight, I mean like maybe sixteen.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: But um I've seen you eat bread and stuff like that.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: Oh, I know, I know.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: And even I was just eating cereal this morning and I was like, oh my gosh, my stomach kind of hurts.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: So are you serious?
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: Like right now?
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: Ever since, I'm not gonna throw up, but ever since, ever since um that like that that big throw up last week.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, every time I eat bread or something of the like, I was like, my stomach is in pain, and there is another adverse effect that we don't even talk about.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: We what yeah what what was gluten with the shrimp?
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: Was it with pasta?
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: It was with pasta.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Oh yes, yes, and I I I don't want it to be that, or I guess dairy could be the other thing.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: It could be well, you just drank milk too, so almond milk.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: So Well now we uh well, you know, you could go see our friends at Smith Allergy.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, I didn't even think about that.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: I mean, it might not be a terrible idea just to say, well, what is it?
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: Because Gail's is totally made up.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: Yours might be legit.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: Right, exactly.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: Wait, did she leave town?
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: I don't want her to hear that.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: She did.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: She left, she left on Friday.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Uh there is one thing that I was thinking I was gonna do, and it's gonna suck, but it's called an elimination diet.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: Oh, where you you go through all the things and you figure out Yeah.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Or you could do the less painful route and go see the Smith allergy.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
