- 1:07Speaker 5: I've been on just so many email threads with you guys, yes,
- 1:11Speaker 5: but it's so fun to finally sit down and meet
- 1:14Speaker 5: the faces behind the email yeah signatures.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Yes, I mean, and and you're all legends in your
- 1:20Speaker 2: own right of course, and and we've all you know,
- 1:23Speaker 2: been out there and filmmaking. And then when when Kellogg's approached.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I don't know how it was for you, but when
- 1:29Speaker 2: Kellogg's approached me, it seemed to be very urgent, very fast.
- 1:33Speaker 2: We have to get these movies out eighteen months right away.
- 1:36Speaker 4: And all the emails I get from Kellogg's, by the way,
- 1:39Speaker 4: and I love this company, I love this I love
- 1:41Speaker 4: we love this company.
- 1:44Speaker 6: Love I have Cereal, I love it.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Have you noticed all the emails in between about six
- 1:48Speaker 4: thirty am and nine thirty am and then they're just
- 1:51Speaker 4: dead quiet.
- 1:52Speaker 1: And they're done because I'll be honest, and I love Kellogg's.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Love love them, and I love It's not a filling breakfast.
- 1:59Speaker 1: You kind of crash around ten am.
- 2:02Speaker 6: That's kind of what cereal is.
- 2:03Speaker 2: If you eat cereal at six you're kind of you
- 2:06Speaker 2: need another thing in the middle.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Of the day.
- 2:08Speaker 1: And there's a place for there's a place for them
- 2:12Speaker 1: in the home and on the screen.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Yes, exactly exactly, and let's go through it.
- 2:18Speaker 4: I think we should talk about the movies that we're
- 2:20Speaker 4: putting together. As you know, there's at least four movies
- 2:23Speaker 4: in play where all directors of different films in the universe.
- 2:26Speaker 4: We're on the threads to connect the threads.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Wow, it's really special that, like, none of us actually
- 2:33Speaker 1: went into contract negotiations until all of us were kind
- 2:36Speaker 1: of doing it. It's kind of like, how is it?
- 2:39Speaker 6: Is it?
- 2:40Speaker 1: James Cameron's doing it right where you film them all
- 2:42Speaker 1: together right, and then they're going to figure out how
- 2:44Speaker 1: to release someone.
- 2:45Speaker 4: And James Cameron is doing the Pringles movie for guess yes,
- 2:48Speaker 4: which is lunch, So that's not us.
- 2:51Speaker 6: So that's a different round day.
- 2:54Speaker 1: That's ude, and that's noon, that's not that's directors.
- 2:59Speaker 5: I don't want to reveal too much, but there might
- 3:01Speaker 5: be a universe crossover where lunch and snack meets breakfast,
- 3:04Speaker 5: but that's years away yet.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Breakfast for Dinner calendar, the Breakfast for Dinner is the
- 3:15Speaker 3: Sam Raimi one that he's doing.
- 3:17Speaker 6: Why can't Wait? Well, Breakfast for Dinner is a musical.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Yeah did you hear?
- 3:22Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 3:22Speaker 3: I heard.
- 3:23Speaker 5: I did read that email that it was such a
- 3:26Speaker 5: hard thread to parse through. It's forwards on forwards, on
- 3:28Speaker 5: forwards on forwards.
- 3:29Speaker 3: You know that breakfast cookie.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Called you got a cookie, Crisp Cookie crisp, right.
- 3:35Speaker 5: The one that's this is actually it's called the Buena
- 3:41Speaker 5: Vista or something. Baker Sean Bakers on Sean Bakers Buena Vista,
- 3:48Speaker 5: and that's.
- 3:49Speaker 1: In a different content calendars, which.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Later I heard he shooting Buenaves on an Android. That's
- 3:53Speaker 4: an insane h My name is Henry Shambles Junior. I
- 3:58Speaker 4: am the director of the Frosted Flanks Frosted Flakes movie.
- 4:04Speaker 4: I am the one trusted with Tony the Tiger. He's
- 4:10Speaker 4: being humble. He's basically the Jon Favreau of Well.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Look, I've been involved.
- 4:15Speaker 4: It's it's been pretty incredible to be involved, and I'm
- 4:17Speaker 4: happy all of you guys got involved.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I was the first person that got asked to do it.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Uh.
- 4:21Speaker 3: It's funny because I've made a lot of.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Irreverent, wacky, quirky indies where I was known for just
- 4:27Speaker 4: flying by the seat of my pants and I could
- 4:29Speaker 4: do whatever I wanted, and my movies we just grabbed
- 4:32Speaker 4: a couple of cameras who went out into the wilderness
- 4:34Speaker 4: and we just shot whatever we wanted to with my friends.
- 4:36Speaker 5: I mean, can I say, Three Babies Raise Another Baby
- 4:39Speaker 5: is one of my all time favorite comedies.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 4:43Speaker 6: It's so funny. It's so funny.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Babies, they're real babies.
- 4:49Speaker 3: You guys that we did that bean scene in one take.
- 4:52Speaker 6: Yes, where the beans.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Oh my god, the smallest baby, all the babies trying
- 5:01Speaker 2: to use a can opener to open a can of beans,
- 5:03Speaker 2: and finally the baby's baby does it.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I watched Boss Baby the other day. I went to Convoluted.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I just want babies.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Yes, three babies raising a baby. It was incredible.
- 5:13Speaker 4: But it was really fun to get involved in this,
- 5:17Speaker 4: in this project.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Hey, Tony the Tiger is kind of the the He's
- 5:21Speaker 2: the superman of the yeah, serial world.
- 5:24Speaker 4: But they knew who they were bringing on, right, So
- 5:26Speaker 4: we want something a referend, we want something tongue in chik,
- 5:28Speaker 4: we want something really fun and enjoyable.
- 5:30Speaker 3: So I went in and I wrote whenever I wanted.
- 5:32Speaker 3: And we're on.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Draft forty four of the script now same, I'm I'm
- 5:38Speaker 5: about thirty drafts, you're thirty drafts.
- 5:40Speaker 6: In sixty we're shooting on the first for mine. But
- 5:44Speaker 6: go ahead.
- 5:44Speaker 3: And I love I love Kellogg, I love Kellogg's, I
- 5:47Speaker 3: love we love and they're so fantastic. They're great girls
- 5:51Speaker 3: in great girls. But I will say.
- 5:53Speaker 4: It's almost like they didn't know what they were asking
- 5:54Speaker 4: for when they started have you guys felt that.
- 5:56Speaker 3: They said, free range.
- 5:58Speaker 5: You give us whatever you think is a great idea,
- 6:00Speaker 5: like you, We wanted to give you as much creative
- 6:03Speaker 5: liberty as possible, And with every draft, I feel like
- 6:06Speaker 5: they actually didn't mean that, even in the slightest.
- 6:09Speaker 1: It's almost like when someone goes up to the coffee
- 6:11Speaker 1: counter and they're looking for and they don't know, and
- 6:13Speaker 1: somehow that wondering in front of the barista lasts longer. Yeah,
- 6:18Speaker 1: wonder on your own.
- 6:19Speaker 3: They go, I'm sorry, you're like, the milk's getting cold.
- 6:21Speaker 3: We steamed it's getting cold. Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 6:23Speaker 5: And so I did just send it in a draft
- 6:25Speaker 5: earlier that was kind of an f you draft, Well,
- 6:29Speaker 5: it's really past aggressive, it's really silly. Tony the Tiger.
- 6:33Speaker 4: You know, in my world, Tony the Tiger starts as
- 6:36Speaker 4: this like lovable, bumbling hero and then with frosted flakes,
- 6:39Speaker 4: he becomes a superstar.
- 6:42Speaker 3: And so I just filled it with farts and.
- 6:44Speaker 1: And chick and Black's body transformation for this, Like he.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Is so jacked, he's so and pun intended, and he
- 6:51Speaker 4: keeps saying it you should hang out with him on set.
- 6:54Speaker 4: He loves to hang out on set. It's almost like
- 6:55Speaker 4: it's hard to get him to roll, but it's really
- 6:58Speaker 4: fun and I.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Love Jack black or Jacked black.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Jack is what he's been saying. But yeah, we'll see
- 7:04Speaker 4: what they say. I think, uh, they said they were
- 7:06Speaker 4: gonna call me sometime today. But I hope they like
- 7:09Speaker 4: my draft because it's definitely a little old tongue in cheek.
- 7:12Speaker 6: God, what did you put in there?
- 7:14Speaker 4: I did a lot of Tony the Tager looking straight
- 7:17Speaker 4: to camera going is this what you want?
- 7:18Speaker 3: Kellogg's that's Genie.
- 7:21Speaker 6: It well meda stuff. They love meta.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Stuff, specifically Facebook's meta stuff a lot.
- 7:30Speaker 4: Yeah, Tony's are iron Man and it's been fun to
- 7:34Speaker 4: be his guy.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yes, well, I'm I'm I'm Elisa Elisa Lisa, and I
- 7:42Speaker 2: am you.
- 7:42Speaker 6: Know, from.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Lisa Alisa, Lisa.
- 7:49Speaker 6: Lisa Alisasa. It's Lisa Alisa Lisa, you know.
- 7:57Speaker 3: And I know this. I just thought the email was
- 7:58Speaker 3: maybe you accident. I thought you couldn't. No.
- 8:03Speaker 2: No, my mother was Lisa Lisa and my grandmother was
- 8:06Speaker 2: Asa Lisa Lisa Lisa.
- 8:07Speaker 3: And so that makes sense that.
- 8:11Speaker 6: We drop one.
- 8:11Speaker 2: We sandwich in the middle. We kind of just jumple
- 8:15Speaker 2: and I plan to do the same with my daughter.
- 8:17Speaker 2: She will be Elsa.
- 8:20Speaker 3: So there's no rhyme.
- 8:22Speaker 6: No, we kind of the.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Rules of the family are we can kind of anagramm it, however, were.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Because that's not the same you know what I mean.
- 8:30Speaker 3: It feels like a joke.
- 8:31Speaker 6: No, no, it's not funny.
- 8:34Speaker 3: It's funny. I have a sharp eye.
- 8:36Speaker 6: Yeah you do well.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Uh.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I am directing the Rice Crispy movie.
- 8:44Speaker 3: This was so good.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Snack, crackle and pop. And notice me changed the name
- 8:49Speaker 2: from Snap to snack because he is hot in this
- 8:54Speaker 2: He is a hot guy.
- 8:56Speaker 6: He's a snack. He's a snack.
- 8:58Speaker 2: We've got Chris Hemsworth, uh, Tim Meadows and rounding out
- 9:07Speaker 2: the cast, we have U, we have Harry Styles.
- 9:11Speaker 5: So it's so it's a real You have run into
- 9:13Speaker 5: some controversy though about the name change. I've heard people,
- 9:16Speaker 5: you know, the Kellogg's Warriors as they like to call themselves.
- 9:21Speaker 5: They are obsessed with keeping the lore to the original
- 9:26Speaker 5: comic book in their eyes, which is a serial box.
- 9:28Speaker 2: The Reddit is not is not happy with me, and
- 9:31Speaker 2: I will say they're they're primarily angry about two things.
- 9:34Speaker 2: One name from Snap to snack and two female director,
- 9:37Speaker 2: which is always tough. It's always imagine again, it's always tough.
- 9:41Speaker 6: But in my version, we're sort of and it's interesting.
- 9:45Speaker 6: I do.
- 9:46Speaker 3: I do.
- 9:46Speaker 6: It's interesting to hear that.
- 9:47Speaker 2: You're all on on on draft dozens of drafts, forty
- 9:51Speaker 2: five for you, even because as I mentioned, we are
- 9:53Speaker 2: shooting on Draft one, and so I'm starting to wonder
- 9:57Speaker 2: what Kellogg's plans for uh snack Apple pop.
- 10:01Speaker 6: And you'll notice I just changed the name to Crapple.
- 10:04Speaker 5: You don't need to commit to these, you can you
- 10:06Speaker 5: can actually have misspoken to because so far it feels
- 10:11Speaker 5: like everything it's accidentally as speaking.
- 10:14Speaker 4: It almost it almost feels like it almost feels like
- 10:17Speaker 4: you had a director once that said never admit a mistake.
- 10:20Speaker 3: You had a teacher mentor that's so interesting.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I mean, yes, that's true, but I would say that's
- 10:26Speaker 2: more of a coincidence. I wouldn't say that anything I've
- 10:29Speaker 2: ever said has been a mistakes.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Now, so.
- 10:35Speaker 6: We got snack and pop has not changed, and so
- 10:42Speaker 6: you know, and it's it's interesting.
- 10:43Speaker 1: It's kind of a fly by night situation.
- 10:45Speaker 2: As I mentioned, we are shooting on Draft one, and
- 10:47Speaker 2: I sent Kellogg's the draft and the email that I
- 10:50Speaker 2: got back.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Was forward forward for and forward forward, and then they.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Said they used different capital letters and sizes.
- 11:00Speaker 6: Yes, sort of like a roller coaster, yeah or something.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Your daughter's name.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, congrats, very funny. Congrats on being so fast.
- 11:10Speaker 3: That's so exciting for you.
- 11:12Speaker 2: We're really excited. Pretty much everything has been a yes
- 11:16Speaker 2: and with and with such speed. And it's interesting because
- 11:19Speaker 2: we're taking a lot of big swings, you know, where
- 11:21Speaker 2: we're doing sort of a a power struggle between the
- 11:26Speaker 2: three men to become the Crispy King.
- 11:29Speaker 6: And well, Loo could be rambling about my plot. We
- 11:31Speaker 6: don't need to get.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Into it, but it's why we're here.
- 11:34Speaker 8: You can.
- 11:36Speaker 6: The Chrispy King, Yes, the Chrispy King who reigns over
- 11:38Speaker 6: all of cereal and Milk.
- 11:40Speaker 5: And determines they're setting up a fanos. They're setting up
- 11:44Speaker 5: a fano.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Yes, so we are, And there is the Thanos of
- 11:47Speaker 2: our story is Oat Milk is Chris Old Milk's a
- 11:54Speaker 2: character and he's real and you know, I haven't seen Panos,
- 11:57Speaker 2: but but but but from my understanding, Thanos is sort
- 12:00Speaker 2: of the anti HEROO and so we go.
- 12:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I've never misspoken.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Okay, so now we have to go to Marble and
- 12:11Speaker 3: tell them that.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I have not misspoken. I'd like to say everything I've
- 12:17Speaker 2: said has been on purpose. So I'd just like to
- 12:21Speaker 2: have that establaged right out the gate. And and that's
- 12:24Speaker 2: the kind of said I'm trying to run. But I'd
- 12:26Speaker 2: love to hear about your movies.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Well.
- 12:28Speaker 5: Yeah, so my name is Jerome Drop and I am
- 12:35Speaker 5: an indie director and a commercial director. I do a
- 12:39Speaker 5: lot of music videos too, and I was gifted a
- 12:42Speaker 5: very exciting project, the Apple Jack's movie. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 12:47Speaker 5: been rough to be hon and I love Kellogg's. I
- 12:49Speaker 5: love Kelloggs great girls over there. But I will love
- 12:52Speaker 5: to say I was trying to push for like a
- 12:55Speaker 5: almost like a rebrand of reinvention. They are doubling down
- 12:58Speaker 5: hard that they want the cinnamon stick to beat Jamaican
- 13:03Speaker 5: and the Apple to still be bad. So actually, this
- 13:07Speaker 5: is not my pitch. This is the actual name of
- 13:10Speaker 5: the cinnamon stick Sinna Mon. Yes, yes, that's so you
- 13:15Speaker 5: really understand. He's Jamaican and Apple and the Apple's name
- 13:18Speaker 5: is bad Apple, which is an adjective for a name.
- 13:22Speaker 6: Friends.
- 13:22Speaker 5: They are friends and enemies. It's kind of a road
- 13:26Speaker 5: trip movie. Where have you seen the movie do Date?
- 13:31Speaker 9: Yees?
- 13:32Speaker 5: Yeah, that movie kind of came and went. I can't
- 13:34Speaker 5: believe that's a reference. Yes, so that's the reference. And
- 13:37Speaker 5: we are using do date left and right. They keep
- 13:42Speaker 5: talking do date, do date, do date, do date, do date,
- 13:45Speaker 5: do date, but Jamaican do date.
- 13:47Speaker 3: So it is Jamaican Jamaican do date, if you can believe.
- 13:52Speaker 3: And I'm doing it. Yes, Jerome Drop is doing the
- 13:56Speaker 3: Jamaican version of do Date.
- 13:58Speaker 6: And I think it's interesting.
- 14:00Speaker 1: You know, they are doubling down on but you've got
- 14:03Speaker 1: Robert Pattinson as cinemon.
- 14:04Speaker 5: So another huge point of contention in this film was
- 14:08Speaker 5: they really were pushing for Robert Pattins.
- 14:10Speaker 3: And I don't want to correct you, but you said
- 14:13Speaker 3: sit a bon. The Charactersinamon, I've never miss spoken.
- 14:17Speaker 6: Don't you have a character named Cinnabon as well?
- 14:20Speaker 5: You know what?
- 14:21Speaker 3: I just got an email? Yes we do now.
- 14:23Speaker 5: Unfortunately it's so cool. So Cinnamon cousin is named Sinnabon.
- 14:32Speaker 5: Uh a franchise tie in or no again a legal nightmare.
- 14:37Speaker 5: They ei are pushing for the name Sinnabon, knowing full
- 14:41Speaker 5: well there's a company called cinnabun and it's just tough.
- 14:44Speaker 5: So Robert Pattinson is in there and he's going he
- 14:47Speaker 5: wants to do full Jamaican accent, and we are really trying.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I shouldn't do that.
- 14:52Speaker 5: He really shouldn't do it, but boy does he love
- 14:54Speaker 5: to do it. He is like Chet Hanks, that's what.
- 14:59Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yes, So it's a really interesting process. I mean,
- 15:03Speaker 5: what I'm learning right now is how to weave a
- 15:05Speaker 5: line between what you want and what will ruin your career.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Yes, exactly are you taking care of yourself?
- 15:12Speaker 6: Are you sleeping?
- 15:13Speaker 3: Are you.
- 15:15Speaker 5: You know? Every once in a while I'll go online
- 15:21Speaker 5: and I'll play one game of Marvel Snap and that
- 15:25Speaker 5: is I think enough for me.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, hey, I'm yeah. I mean you're a big
- 15:30Speaker 1: time director.
- 15:30Speaker 3: I'm a huge time director, and I.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Think you should claim your space.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I don't mean to like be in a pro I
- 15:35Speaker 3: mean you're the.
- 15:36Speaker 4: One who got Chloe seven Year her Indie Indie Spirit Awards. Yes,
- 15:40Speaker 4: in your movie was like the one that.
- 15:41Speaker 5: Yeah, so my movie with Chloe seven Yer, A Girl
- 15:44Speaker 5: and a Giant Coat won her a Spirit Award.
- 15:47Speaker 3: She was so fantastic and also so difficult to work with,
- 15:50Speaker 3: so I'm used to it, used to it.
- 15:54Speaker 5: It's it's I feel like everybody in Hollywood kind of
- 15:57Speaker 5: has their own obstacle, their own hurdle, and my her
- 16:00Speaker 5: is constantly being figuring out how to work with the most.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Difficult things given to you and how do you make
- 16:05Speaker 3: art with it. That's an art, that's an art, that's
- 16:07Speaker 3: an art.
- 16:08Speaker 5: So very excited for you, guys to see the Apple
- 16:10Speaker 5: Jack's movie coming out very very soon, once we nail
- 16:14Speaker 5: that draft and get through legal.
- 16:16Speaker 1: That's amazing. Hey, guys, how is everybody? I'm I'm George
- 16:21Speaker 1: seven year and.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Oh so close to Chloe seventye.
- 16:26Speaker 1: It's almost like I heard it and had nothing. George
- 16:30Speaker 1: seven year And.
- 16:35Speaker 3: I don't think Killhuaks is going to listen to this?
- 16:37Speaker 3: You think no, no. I mean maybe they did set
- 16:41Speaker 3: it up, but I don't think they listen to things.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I'm really struggling, guys, what what's going on?
- 16:46Speaker 6: What's going on? The movie?
- 16:48Speaker 3: You're working?
- 16:48Speaker 1: I'm working on the Mini Week's movie. And that sounds
- 16:54Speaker 1: easy that he doesn't have a name, guys, the miniweak guy.
- 16:58Speaker 1: It's not an animal, little.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Boy, He's literally a cereal smile and that's it.
- 17:06Speaker 1: He just has to smile and legs just that I
- 17:09Speaker 1: don't have something to pull from.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Well, what are your references? What do they What did
- 17:13Speaker 3: they tell you? YEA, for me, they kept on saying
- 17:15Speaker 3: Jamaican do date. And for me they said iron Man,
- 17:18Speaker 3: iron Man, iron Man.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Well for me they said, yeah, yeah, you think it's fine.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Believe it or not, I'm getting Manchester by the seat.
- 17:29Speaker 6: Yikes, yikes, Okay, this isn't.
- 17:35Speaker 5: I don't know who's listening, but just for the listeners,
- 17:37Speaker 5: Manchester the Sea is a devastating movie about a man
- 17:40Speaker 5: who cannot get over the grief of accidentally murdering his
- 17:42Speaker 5: whole family.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Yes, fire via fire, and then.
- 17:45Speaker 1: For mister miniwheats or we don't know. I'm constantly banging
- 17:52Speaker 1: my head against the wall and I keep going, is
- 17:54Speaker 1: this an animal or a food?
- 17:55Speaker 3: And you're not. You're not caught up in the Manchester
- 17:58Speaker 3: by the Sea aspect of it.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I can make anything work. Okay, you're looking at the
- 18:02Speaker 1: guy who just who told Aflac, let's hire a duck.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Yes, career, but I think I just need a place
- 18:10Speaker 3: of reference.
- 18:11Speaker 1: We've been going back and forth. That's why It's nice
- 18:14Speaker 1: to hear you talk about struggles with the script because
- 18:17Speaker 1: we've just been struggling. Like sure, they want like a deep, deep.
- 18:21Speaker 4: Drama, something so enticing, imagining a mini week walk around
- 18:25Speaker 4: a small New England town kind of in real time,
- 18:29Speaker 4: quietly sipping.
- 18:31Speaker 3: I don't even know what a many Week would drink.
- 18:33Speaker 3: And now I know the issue you have. Yeah, maybe
- 18:35Speaker 3: he has a mouth.
- 18:36Speaker 5: I feel like I feel like in my head, Many
- 18:38Speaker 5: Weeks drink mouths because or drink milk because they expand
- 18:42Speaker 5: when they when they get in the water.
- 18:44Speaker 1: You're already getting too specific.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Well, and so if that was the case, I would
- 18:47Speaker 3: make that a hulk. You know what I mean. I've
- 18:52Speaker 3: been there.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Let's make him change a little, Let's make him get
- 18:57Speaker 1: swollen and angry. And boy did that not go well.
- 19:01Speaker 5: I guess maybe we take a second to just figure
- 19:04Speaker 5: out their marvel kind of cinematic universe here, because they've
- 19:07Speaker 5: got a lot of different things they're trying to go
- 19:09Speaker 5: with it.
- 19:09Speaker 3: I'm not sure how to.
- 19:11Speaker 4: We're the core four, we're Phase one, right, We're Tony
- 19:15Speaker 4: the Tiger, Snap Crapple and snap Bob and then cinnamon
- 19:21Speaker 4: and shredded minyweed apple jacks.
- 19:24Speaker 3: The character's name.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Is cinnamon apple jacks and shredded minyweeds and then and
- 19:28Speaker 4: just the product not a character. Phase two we have,
- 19:32Speaker 4: of course, uh we have uh Sam, we have the
- 19:37Speaker 4: keebler elves.
- 19:39Speaker 5: And it's crazy that yeah, crazy that to Can Sam
- 19:42Speaker 5: didn't make it into phase one because he feels almost
- 19:45Speaker 5: like the second most beloved.
- 19:46Speaker 6: He feels pretty recognized.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Pretty recognizable.
- 19:49Speaker 6: But they're very protective of the bird.
- 19:51Speaker 2: They they you know, they're they're they wanted the bird
- 19:54Speaker 2: to go to John Chew because they wanted someone.
- 19:56Speaker 3: With it, wanted to be a musical.
- 19:58Speaker 5: And I will say also legally, and Toucansen was tied
- 20:02Speaker 5: down with Sony and they're just fighting a lot between them.
- 20:05Speaker 3: They're trying to figure out how.
- 20:06Speaker 2: To do it.
- 20:07Speaker 4: Looks like they might be doing a lot of Too
- 20:09Speaker 4: Can Sam spinoff universe movies with Sony.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Yeah, where we like and so we don't know, but
- 20:15Speaker 3: every time they use something over there, we can't.
- 20:17Speaker 5: They've got I heard the pitches too Can same where
- 20:20Speaker 5: he accidentally clones himself a bunch of times. It's like
- 20:22Speaker 5: he's really interesting of like which one which it.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Really sounds like a sequel to can say, like, it
- 20:27Speaker 2: doesn't sound like the first movie that you go out with.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Well, there's the whole spin off about his wife that
- 20:32Speaker 1: they're in production. Oh yeah, Samstress, Yes, Samstress, she's a seamstress.
- 20:37Speaker 4: And I told him, Samantha, it's easy, Samantha. But I
- 20:40Speaker 4: think you got there first and they wouldn't change it.
- 20:43Speaker 2: You can't, saman I actually think I remember a woman
- 20:46Speaker 2: being named Samstress, and I think I remember that.
- 20:49Speaker 6: Being a popular name.
- 20:50Speaker 2: There's actually an American girl doll based on that, So
- 20:54Speaker 2: I actually can't.
- 20:57Speaker 5: Sammy because stress is such a calm in girls, ending
- 21:01Speaker 5: of a name out of the occupation.
- 21:03Speaker 6: Which is why it's so interesting that it's such a
- 21:04Speaker 6: popular American name.
- 21:08Speaker 4: So interestinglogy, Yeah, but so it's very interesting. We're at
- 21:15Speaker 4: the precipice of something that could be massive or something
- 21:18Speaker 4: that could not be massive.
- 21:19Speaker 3: It kind of all depends on your movie about how
- 21:22Speaker 3: your movie dance on my mind.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I keep thinking that I'll find my path once I
- 21:25Speaker 1: watch you guys like pay the Way a little bit.
- 21:28Speaker 3: I am excited.
- 21:29Speaker 4: I mean, how did you guys feel when I because
- 21:32Speaker 4: I saw you guys cc it on that email when
- 21:34Speaker 4: we all were asked to include the Apple dance into
- 21:39Speaker 4: our movie.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Worked really well for me, it got to say, really well.
- 21:44Speaker 6: For me, that probably thought you what forty five seconds
- 21:47Speaker 6: of time.
- 21:48Speaker 5: Literally to be racist. Literally, I took a nap for
- 21:51Speaker 5: a second. I went, God, thank you. One thing that
- 21:54Speaker 5: works bad Apple is doing the Apple dance. Very It's
- 22:01Speaker 5: kind of one of our trailer moments.
- 22:03Speaker 3: It's Apple, right, ye, that worked so perfectly for you.
- 22:10Speaker 3: That was good.
- 22:12Speaker 5: And I would tell you what the cinemon says, but
- 22:15Speaker 5: I won't. I won't don't do that.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Tony's It works for Tony because he's at his daughter's dance,
- 22:21Speaker 4: which is it's just perfect, perfect, and it's you know
- 22:24Speaker 4: what I will say. It's also introducing, you know, the
- 22:27Speaker 4: the literal universe we're building there.
- 22:30Speaker 3: They call it Ceial World.
- 22:31Speaker 4: You fall into the bowl and then there's a black hole,
- 22:34Speaker 4: and then you're in this universe where Cereal is alive.
- 22:38Speaker 2: And they made sure to include in the lore, at
- 22:40Speaker 2: least in the In the first forwarded email that I
- 22:42Speaker 2: got the the the creative brief was that there is
- 22:47Speaker 2: a TikTok room within the black hole of Cereal, right,
- 22:51Speaker 2: so that we're always able to use those things, right.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Yeah, No, I I tried to incorporate the apple dance
- 22:59Speaker 1: in a shred of miniweed, shredded minyweed. He's he's walking
- 23:04Speaker 1: and a car drives by and it's blaming the song.
- 23:07Speaker 3: That's a great way in corporate. That's a genius way.
- 23:09Speaker 6: To It's really good.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'm kind of crying a little bit. And
- 23:12Speaker 1: I asked if the tears can make him a little larger.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Yeah, got pushed back for that. Why don't they don't happen?
- 23:19Speaker 1: They want him to be a grounded man.
- 23:22Speaker 3: I think the whole he's not even a miniwe He's
- 23:24Speaker 3: a man.
- 23:25Speaker 6: I don't know. I don't know. Look at me.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I I direct commercials and make sixty million dollars in
- 23:33Speaker 1: a week a week a week, commercials, all of them,
- 23:38Speaker 1: every pharmacy commercial. And those boys pay. Yeah, okay, those
- 23:45Speaker 1: boys pay. I'm making so much money. And then I decided, Okay,
- 23:49Speaker 1: I want I want to get into IP I want
- 23:52Speaker 1: to get into stuff that's connected to a snack. That's
- 23:54Speaker 1: what all the guys are doing these days. Yeah, it's
- 23:57Speaker 1: so smart, it's it's the way, it's the way to go.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Well, I actually do I mean, like, I know, we're allowed,
- 24:03Speaker 5: they said, we can give some spoilers. So I did
- 24:06Speaker 5: want to talk about some of the moments that you
- 24:08Speaker 5: guys are most excited for in the movie. I will
- 24:10Speaker 5: say one of my favorites in your first in your
- 24:12Speaker 5: first draft. I don't know if it's there, but kind
- 24:15Speaker 5: of this big spoiler at the end of how we
- 24:17Speaker 5: get connected to the whole universe is Tony the Tiger
- 24:20Speaker 5: has a big sit down with corn Syrup at the end,
- 24:22Speaker 5: kind of post credit scene.
- 24:24Speaker 4: So that's gone. Yeah, okay, that's gone. Because they had
- 24:30Speaker 4: Reese Ethons in for corn Syrup.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Remind me who that is.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Reethons played the lizard in the Spider Man movies. Oh yeah,
- 24:39Speaker 4: he kind of is the not Paul Betany, you know
- 24:41Speaker 4: what I mean. And there's a Paul Betany and we
- 24:45Speaker 4: got reci Faons and he didn't like the script and
- 24:50Speaker 4: he said, hey, you guys want a character to be
- 24:52Speaker 4: corn Syrup. Isn't corn syrup bad? And Kellogg's freaked out
- 24:56Speaker 4: and they said, how dare you embarrass us like that?
- 24:58Speaker 4: To me the first thing that went, and then I
- 25:02Speaker 4: lost their trust and they started tacking away as yike.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Yeah, So is there a post credit scene at all?
- 25:09Speaker 3: There's fifteen post credit seeds.
- 25:10Speaker 5: Wow.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Yeah, every every nine credits they show another seed every
- 25:15Speaker 4: nine credit. It's Tony becoming uh, not even Tony Stark,
- 25:22Speaker 4: it's Tony becoming uh Nick Fury. And so he's meeting
- 25:25Speaker 4: all the characters. He's introducing I'm listing a team, and
- 25:29Speaker 4: I'm enlisting a team.
- 25:30Speaker 3: I'm listening.
- 25:30Speaker 7: He is going around, I'm in listing a team. Yeah, yeah,
- 25:34Speaker 7: I'm in listing a team. Yeah, exactly, and so so
- 25:37Speaker 7: scret that I'm enlisting a team.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah, yea yeah. He keeps saying, how many.
- 25:43Speaker 6: Times do you say it's great in the script?
- 25:45Speaker 3: Yeah? I think the current count is uh eighty nine.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Okay does page Yeah, one for page. It wasn't one
- 25:55Speaker 4: for page requirement, so so yeah. So, but it's very
- 26:00Speaker 4: exciting because the universe there's so much room to expand,
- 26:03Speaker 4: and and I think what I love so much about
- 26:06Speaker 4: making movies is plot and sitting down and writing plot.
- 26:10Speaker 3: So this has been a real exciting.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Thing for me, breaking breaking the plot, breaking I hate dialogue,
- 26:19Speaker 2: I hate jokes. I love just going in there. What
- 26:22Speaker 2: would logically happen after this?
- 26:25Speaker 6: Yeah? It's a it's amazing.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I'm wondering how are you.
- 26:31Speaker 6: All handling milk in in this universe?
- 26:36Speaker 2: Because you know, I feel like I milk is sort
- 26:39Speaker 2: of an cow's milk is is a friend in my
- 26:43Speaker 2: movie and oat milk is a foe.
- 26:45Speaker 1: But I'm but I'm wondering what roll milk? Cow?
- 26:49Speaker 2: Is?
- 26:49Speaker 5: Cow?
- 26:52Speaker 1: Am I human?
- 26:53Speaker 3: How do we answer for cows?
- 26:54Speaker 1: And I think when you talk about milk, you're also
- 26:58Speaker 1: talking about spoon.
- 27:00Speaker 6: Yes, is to spoon in our universe?
- 27:03Speaker 2: Because once we open up the doors for inanimate objects talking,
- 27:07Speaker 2: then we we must also ask what other things have souls?
- 27:11Speaker 3: Yes?
- 27:12Speaker 2: Do the chairs you're sitting on to eat the breast
- 27:14Speaker 2: breakfast have a soul? And I said breakfast, and I
- 27:18Speaker 2: and I and I want you to know that because
- 27:21Speaker 2: it's very intentional, because of.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Breast fast is intentional. Please explain.
- 27:28Speaker 2: So breakfast is when you are eating a bunch of
- 27:32Speaker 2: chicken breads.
- 27:35Speaker 3: God, and you must have a chicken.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Bread chicken bracks.
- 27:40Speaker 3: So breastfast is when you eat chicken jacket breasts. You
- 27:46Speaker 3: must have met that one thing at a time.
- 27:48Speaker 6: Okay, so one thing at a time, So please speak carefully.
- 27:52Speaker 6: So we have two things.
- 27:53Speaker 3: And the qu this is like Jumanji. Can you say it?
- 27:56Speaker 3: It exists?
- 27:57Speaker 1: It exists, So so please calmba.
- 28:02Speaker 2: I'm going to have to I'm going to have to
- 28:03Speaker 2: breathe because breakfast is when you eat what was formerly
- 28:08Speaker 2: known as a chicken breast. For breakfast, when you have
- 28:12Speaker 2: when you protein load your breakfast. But a chicken breast
- 28:16Speaker 2: is when it's when the chicken breast is exiting the
- 28:22Speaker 2: country it's from.
- 28:23Speaker 6: So you have to go eat it.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Likexit.
- 28:31Speaker 2: And I've never been spoken so so, but it opens
- 28:36Speaker 2: up the question of mortality of souls. Yes, what do
- 28:39Speaker 2: we believe is deserving of a story? What we believe
- 28:43Speaker 2: is deserving of the narrative?
- 28:45Speaker 1: Well, for me, we're using milk as a huge tsunami
- 28:48Speaker 1: that took over many wheats, whole family town.
- 28:52Speaker 3: So it's like a.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Destroyed and but what's so interesting is once he cries,
- 28:59Speaker 1: he cries milk, So what is a part of his
- 29:02Speaker 1: body is almost what killed his family. Beautiful, right, And
- 29:06Speaker 1: he looks at his hands. His hands are sticks, and
- 29:09Speaker 1: he sees and he's shaking, right, he's shaking his legs
- 29:12Speaker 1: or sticks and his hands are sticks, and he's shaking
- 29:14Speaker 1: and he goes, am, I what killed my family? And
- 29:18Speaker 1: I think it just begs the question like is history
- 29:21Speaker 1: repeating itself? Are we just a part of the traumas
- 29:24Speaker 1: that built us?
- 29:26Speaker 3: That's amazing.
- 29:27Speaker 5: I am trying to get away from Jerk Chicken and
- 29:30Speaker 5: my script just as hard as I can. It's just
- 29:33Speaker 5: amazing what you're talking about in your script and the
- 29:35Speaker 5: difficulties that I'm trying to get it.
- 29:36Speaker 3: What's milk for those guys? Yeah?
- 29:38Speaker 1: What's milk for them?
- 29:39Speaker 5: Look, I don't want to get into it. Milk for
- 29:41Speaker 5: them is milk. Okay, milk, milk, and they love chugging
- 29:46Speaker 5: down some milk, so they drink it.
- 29:48Speaker 3: They drink it. There's a lot of milk. So for
- 29:51Speaker 3: milk in our universe is milk. Okay.
- 29:53Speaker 5: Chicken is food, cow is God. It's just a weird
- 30:00Speaker 5: weird things.
- 30:01Speaker 1: And what's a bowl and spoon?
- 30:03Speaker 3: Bowl and spoon? I don't exist. They refuse to let
- 30:07Speaker 3: me add a bowl and a spoon. Sorry. Spoon is surfboard.
- 30:11Speaker 5: That's something very very actually true to the lore surfboard
- 30:15Speaker 5: interest and bowl is wave?
- 30:18Speaker 3: Bowl is wave ocean.
- 30:19Speaker 4: For for Tony, milk is kind of like Popeye spinach right.
- 30:24Speaker 4: It makes him big and buff and strong.
- 30:26Speaker 3: I wish.
- 30:27Speaker 4: And then Bowl and Spoon are the mistera Bawl and
- 30:30Speaker 4: mister Spoon are the evil bosses the conglomerates, his bosses
- 30:33Speaker 4: that are trying to keep him down.
- 30:35Speaker 1: So my question is, missus, is the Bowl the wife?
- 30:40Speaker 2: No?
- 30:40Speaker 6: No, no, no, I was.
- 30:41Speaker 3: It was Misterable and mister Spoon. No, I think I
- 30:44Speaker 3: misd Oh no, I mean that's a great idea.
- 30:46Speaker 1: That's amazing. How you we recognize a mistake and then
- 30:49Speaker 1: we walked it back.
- 30:50Speaker 3: That's something interesting.
- 30:52Speaker 2: I'm and I'm really confused by that because why didn't
- 30:55Speaker 2: you say what you meant the first time?
- 30:58Speaker 6: I I like, are you lying?
- 31:00Speaker 1: I know I misspoke? And then I said, I'm sorry,
- 31:04Speaker 1: thank you.
- 31:05Speaker 5: I've got something to admit. Milk is actually ganja in
- 31:08Speaker 5: my movie.
- 31:09Speaker 3: I knew it. I knew I knew it.
- 31:12Speaker 5: I didn't have the courage to say it the first
- 31:14Speaker 5: We were going to let you just sort of they
- 31:17Speaker 5: smoke milk. Okay, they smoke milk so can't stop smoking,
- 31:21Speaker 5: and it fills their lungs with what liquid milk?
- 31:26Speaker 3: These people, it doesn't make sense.
- 31:29Speaker 6: But here's so here's my question.
- 31:30Speaker 4: This is very interesting, right, So milk for you as
- 31:32Speaker 4: a friend, Milk for you is a course of destruction.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Milk for you is weed, and milk for me is
- 31:37Speaker 4: Popeye spin.
- 31:38Speaker 3: And so what are we going to do?
- 31:42Speaker 6: That is a fun little game.
- 31:44Speaker 3: We like to play, the fun bread we love to do.
- 31:50Speaker 3: How do we make it all?
- 31:52Speaker 6: Because we do?
- 31:55Speaker 2: How do we reconcile? Because they do want What they
- 31:58Speaker 2: want is crossover movies. What they want is it is
- 32:00Speaker 2: an extended cinematic universe with with defined lore.
- 32:04Speaker 1: But it appears, oh.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Oh they're calling what they said they weren't going to
- 32:09Speaker 3: watch this.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Yes, just maybe your draft?
- 32:14Speaker 3: Yeah, what should I say? Something about the milk?
- 32:16Speaker 1: Just say what are we gonna do?
- 32:18Speaker 3: Just just say thank you if you can't, if I
- 32:22Speaker 3: don't come back. It was a real pleasure.
- 32:25Speaker 6: It was meeting It was it was great to meet you.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Nice to meet you, guys, And I hope you do.
- 32:30Speaker 1: I hope everything's okay.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Me too. But whoever takes over the next tone of
- 32:35Speaker 3: the tiger, can you tell them to be nice to him?
- 32:39Speaker 3: Because I actually liked the guy you fell in character.
- 32:42Speaker 6: Happened to you.
- 32:42Speaker 3: That's I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back.
- 32:47Speaker 3: People just showed up in suits. What the heck, I'll
- 32:50Speaker 3: be back. I'll be back.
- 32:52Speaker 6: I'm going to be back. They just made the motion
- 32:59Speaker 6: to us.
- 33:00Speaker 8: Is what's scary about Kellogg's Oh oh my, oh god,
- 33:04Speaker 8: my god.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Oh he just purposely knocked over that chair.
- 33:08Speaker 6: Because he's so disoriented. Oh no, he's not well.
- 33:12Speaker 1: So maybe we shouldn't question it anymore because what happened
- 33:15Speaker 1: just there freaked me out.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Let's let's just let's just sell sell it.
- 33:18Speaker 6: Sell it, sell it. Let's sell it.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Yes, let's sell it.
- 33:22Speaker 6: Let's sell it, sell it. Yes, let's sell it.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Tell it, yes, double down and sell it.
- 33:26Speaker 2: My movie, My movie is called Snack Crackle Pop. It
- 33:30Speaker 2: sells Tim and Meadows it sells him.
- 33:33Speaker 3: It's him, and then changed to the.
- 33:40Speaker 1: And it's going and it's amazing and it's a power
