After years of relentless advocacy, the final 155 beagles from Ridglan Farms in Wisconsin have been rescued — ending a long battle for animal rights. Over 2,100 dogs have been saved since May through a joint effort by two major welfare groups, now receiving medical care and new lives on private farms. The farm’s owner lost his veterinary license for unprofessional conduct, and while no criminal charges were filed against the facility, it’s now officially out of business.
