- 0:02Speaker 1: It's time for my favorite time of the week and
- 0:06Speaker 1: I is listen if.
- 0:07Speaker 2: You want to you've been so into singing lately you
- 0:09Speaker 2: know do you feel you have a good voice absolutely
- 0:15Speaker 2: negative oh my god my voice is nails on the
- 0:17Speaker 2: chalkboard the amount.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Of times I think I've asked you that before if
- 0:20Speaker 3: you were.
- 0:20Speaker 1: In the choir or anything my three year old says
- 0:21Speaker 1: mama stop singing.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah hurts his ears that's cute.
- 0:26Speaker 1: He has said it he's like mama no speaking.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Of You're a three-year-old? I got you a present last night.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I think you may have it. Oh my God. I
- 0:36Speaker 3: can't remember. Hold on, I'm going to show it to you.
- 0:38Speaker 3: I'll bring it down to you or mail it. I
- 0:40Speaker 3: think you may have it. Show me. But if you don't.
- 0:44Speaker 3: So let me set the scene. HomeGoods. My favorites. My
- 0:49Speaker 3: two favorite stores, TJ Maxx and HomeGoods. And they're open
- 0:53Speaker 3: till 9.30. So let me tell you when I hit that.
- 0:54Speaker 2: 9.25.
- 0:55Speaker 1: 9 p.m. 9 p.m.
- 0:55Speaker 3: I do 9 to 9.15 TJ Maxx. Jump in the car,
- 1:02Speaker 3: 915 to 925, because at 925, there goes the announcements.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Bring your belongings up. So you may have this, but
- 1:10Speaker 3: look what I got you. Oh my God, I do
- 1:13Speaker 3: not have that. Are you serious? That's cute. I have
- 1:17Speaker 3: a Hairstyles book, but it does not look like that.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Little People. So you know the Little People? It's Little People,
- 1:23Speaker 3: Big Dreams, Harry Styles. I thought it was Little People,
- 1:26Speaker 3: but maybe it's just called that. Written by Maria Isabel Sanchez- Vergara.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Let me read you one page from it because it's
- 1:37Speaker 4: so cute.
- 1:39Speaker 3: That is such a good present. That's so thoughtful. I
- 1:41Speaker 3: saw it. I knew you needed it. I don't know
- 1:43Speaker 3: if it's sanctioned because there's actual pictures of Harry Styles
- 1:46Speaker 3: in here, but like, let me read you this.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:50Speaker 3: First of all, look at the pictures. Oh my God.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. I cannot wait for this. Are you
- 1:56Speaker 3: kidding me? His flamboyant outfits turned fashion on its head
- 2:00Speaker 3: and made him a style icon. Harry challenged the way
- 2:04Speaker 3: most grownups feel about clothes, encouraging everyone to have fun
- 2:07Speaker 3: with their outfits and wear whatever makes them happy. Oh
- 2:11Speaker 3: my God, I love this. I love it so much.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I'll mail it down to you because I'm not going
- 2:15Speaker 3: to be there till November. So I want you to
- 2:16Speaker 3: have it soon. Oh my God, I need this. Look
- 2:18Speaker 3: at the cover. Thank you so much. I love that.
- 2:22Speaker 1: We have an alphabet book, a Harry Styles alphabet book
- 2:26Speaker 1: where it says, A, adore me. B, butterfly.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Like, oh, like, you know, Harry Styles. I mean, the
- 2:34Speaker 3: illustrations are amazing. They, like, literally got the outfits down
- 2:38Speaker 3: to a T. Oh, my God. I am so obsessed. Cute.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Oh my God. It's really, really cute.
- 2:44Speaker 1: And Mateo's going to be super happy because he likes
- 2:46Speaker 1: his Harry Styles.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Book right now. And I guess there's a whole series
- 2:49Speaker 3: of these. My eyes are so bad that I can't read,
- 2:52Speaker 3: but there's like everyone from John Lennon to Coco Chanel
- 2:56Speaker 3: to Elton John to Kamala to Albert Einstein, Yoko Ono,
- 3:00Speaker 3: Michael Jordan. There's like a whole thing of them.
- 3:02Speaker 1: This is like a pro tip to anyone that has
- 3:04Speaker 1: kids because kids will make you read.
- 3:07Speaker 3: The same book.
- 3:07Speaker 1: 30 times over. It might as well be something that
- 3:11Speaker 1: you love. Like for me, when Mateo's like, mom, I
- 3:13Speaker 1: want the Harry Styles book. I'm like, of course you do.
- 3:15Speaker 3: I do too. Let's read it together.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Like instead of having to read Cat in the Hat
- 3:19Speaker 1: six times.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Over or, um, where are the wild things are? The
- 3:24Speaker 3: little excavator. They do it with movies too. Again, again, again, again.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Oh my God. I could talk about it all night,
- 3:33Speaker 3: but I need to talk about Kelly Clarkson. Did you
- 3:35Speaker 3: see the actual like camera footage from the store? So
- 3:40Speaker 3: I'm still team Kelly, but are you team the store?
- 3:42Speaker 3: Did you watch it?
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Where she's pointing and then she goes over and then
- 3:47Speaker 3: you see her kind of like, what? Yeah. And then
- 3:49Speaker 3: she leaves the store. Here's the thing. I love her.
- 3:53Speaker 3: I do too. I really do love her. I think
- 3:55Speaker 3: I love her more than you do. And she's very kind. Agree.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I just don't see her acting out in a privileged manner. Like,
- 4:04Speaker 3: I don't see her being like, I'm Kelly Clarkson, what
- 4:06Speaker 3: do you think? She didn't. I don't think she did.
- 4:09Speaker 3: But the story's kind of claiming that a little bit. No,
- 4:11Speaker 3: I thought they were saying that they're upset that she
- 4:16Speaker 3: put it on social media.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Yeah, they were like, they basically were like, why wouldn't
- 4:22Speaker 1: you support a small business?
- 4:23Speaker 3: This is really hurting our small business. I think she
- 4:25Speaker 3: did support the small business by going to the small
- 4:27Speaker 3: business and wanting to buy something. And they told her no.
- 4:31Speaker 3: And then there's a price tag on it. And they're like, look,
- 4:35Speaker 3: it's a little, he said, she said, I get that part.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Still team Kelly Clarkson. Also. So he said, she said,
- 4:43Speaker 3: I feel like people are going to the store now.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I never heard of the store.
- 4:47Speaker 5: They value that bird at $ 15 million now because everybody's
- 4:50Speaker 5: coming to that store.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Are you serious? Is that made up? Why don't they
- 4:55Speaker 3: make it something attainable? No one's going to buy it
- 4:57Speaker 3: for $ 15 million. Do $ 500, 000.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Maybe somebody will buy it and then you'll have a
- 5:01Speaker 1: nice little paycheck.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Why can't Kelly Clarkson have it for $ 15, 000? Whatever the
- 5:06Speaker 3: price tag said. I don't know why they shat her away.
- 5:11Speaker 3: But it had a price tag. It did. It does
- 5:15Speaker 3: smell a little pretty woman-y. to me, it's a little bit,
- 5:19Speaker 3: remember this happened to Oprah? Remember Oprah had an issue
- 5:23Speaker 3: like at Hermes or something. Is that how you say it? Hermes.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Bethany Frankel recently had this session called them out.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Right. I think, look, I'm not one for like publicly
- 5:35Speaker 3: calling things out. That's not my move, but I'm not
- 5:40Speaker 3: opposed to it. If something's not going right because I
- 5:43Speaker 3: think if she went to the store and said hey
- 5:45Speaker 3: I'm Kelly Clarkson I think they still would have maybe
- 5:48Speaker 3: ignored her I don't know oh you think so I
- 5:51Speaker 3: think I don't know I think I think that stores
- 5:57Speaker 3: should be treating everyone with respect I don't know whether
- 6:02Speaker 3: that happened or not here I wasn't there because I
- 6:06Speaker 3: think social media should be something they worry that somebody
- 6:09Speaker 3: could put something out on social media Right.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:12Speaker 3: I'm not saying it's what I would do. I wouldn't.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I'm like, well, and now you.
- 6:16Speaker 1: See like all those people that are like at Delta
- 6:20Speaker 1: fix this, like celebrities are like.
- 6:23Speaker 3: You lost my luggage, fix this, blah, blah, blah.
- 6:26Speaker 4: I worked in retail for 15 years, about like all
- 6:31Speaker 4: the way from like, I was 17 years old working
- 6:34Speaker 4: at forever 21 until, until I got my internship at KTLA.
- 6:38Speaker 5: So 17 to 25, you know, And I was always
- 6:44Speaker 5: so nice. And that was always drilled in our heads.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Totally.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Customer is right. Treat the customer right. Because you never know.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Back then, obviously, there's no social media, but we had
- 6:53Speaker 5: the surveys. And whenever we got a survey back, we
- 6:57Speaker 5: were nice.
- 6:57Speaker 3: My thing is, it doesn't matter if it's Kelly Clarkson
- 7:00Speaker 3: or Kelly Smith. You don't know who has money and
- 7:03Speaker 3: who doesn't. And you don't know who's going to buy something.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I went and bought a car wearing what I'm wearing
- 7:09Speaker 3: right now. And I looked in there like I didn't
- 7:11Speaker 3: have a penny to my name. But they didn't treat
- 7:14Speaker 3: me bad because I was wearing Aviator Nation shorts.
- 7:17Speaker 5: And I worked at South Coast Plaza in Orange County.
- 7:20Speaker 5: And that mall is one of the highest spenders because
- 7:24Speaker 5: it has all those brands. And so we never knew
- 7:28Speaker 5: who would come in. I was the same way, Jackie.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I worked at Nordstrom, but I was commission-based.
- 7:33Speaker 3: So I was nice to everybody. I was like, people
- 7:35Speaker 3: want a pair of sunglasses? I got you. You want this? Yes. Well,
- 7:38Speaker 3: also a pair of socks one day can be a
- 7:41Speaker 3: diamond necklace the next. Exactly. And also we're all there
- 7:45Speaker 3: like spending our hard earned money just like people are
- 7:51Speaker 3: doing us a solid by listening to this amazing podcast.
- 7:55Speaker 3: And like you want to serve your people well, like
- 7:58Speaker 3: anyone that's going to be interested in your product or
- 8:00Speaker 3: your store or your restaurant or your podcast or your whatever.
- 8:04Speaker 3: And the bird that she was going for. Wish I
- 8:08Speaker 3: was there to see it. I'm surprised we haven't heard
- 8:11Speaker 3: from the people that were there. Oh, we've heard from
- 8:15Speaker 3: the store. Correct. But that's like, I want to know
- 8:17Speaker 3: the people watching the, I also would be like, you know,
- 8:22Speaker 3: that show. Um, what would you do? Do you guys
- 8:24Speaker 3: know that show?
- 8:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 8:28Speaker 3: It could have been a, what would you do? Or
- 8:30Speaker 3: a good old punk. I do think I would.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 8:33Speaker 3: It's kind of punked. It's kind of, what would you do?
- 8:35Speaker 3: I like that show. What would you do? Um, Or
- 8:38Speaker 3: undercover bosses. Kind of the same gist. Like if the
- 8:41Speaker 3: dad's being mean to the kid, would you step in?
- 8:44Speaker 3: You know, whatever. I saw the one where like the
- 8:47Speaker 3: girl's acting. She's not really drunk because it's actors, but
- 8:51Speaker 3: she's drunk. And then she says she's going to drive.
- 8:54Speaker 3: And the random man's like, no, and takes her keys. Like,
- 8:57Speaker 3: I love that. I love when they do the right thing.
- 8:59Speaker 3: When they do the right thing. Yeah. I see something
- 9:10Speaker 3: that says fashion fail. The spam calls are out of control.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I'm getting a spam call. And I'm getting a lot
- 9:16Speaker 3: of the election things. Are you guys getting that? Not yet.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Every day. Every day. I'm getting a spam call. And
- 9:24Speaker 3: it says spam warning 7 a.m. Oh my gosh. Spammers,
- 9:30Speaker 3: can you wait till 10, please, before you start spamming me?
- 9:33Speaker 3: Every day I'm getting one. What do I do?
- 9:35Speaker 1: I can't believe you're not getting the text. I'm getting
- 9:37Speaker 1: multiple days. No, I'm getting some lady.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Some lady tells me she's at a bank and I
- 9:45Speaker 3: must call her right away. And I get the same
- 9:46Speaker 3: call every day. It's like, yeah, we don't, don't do that.
- 9:49Speaker 3: We're not. Obviously, but I'm getting the same message. And
- 9:52Speaker 3: then it says like, press not. Oh, it's, it's just
- 9:54Speaker 3: so like, it says, alternatively, you can press nine to
- 9:58Speaker 3: stop all further calls. Why don't you? that either yeah
- 10:01Speaker 3: don't don't and stop calling me at 7 a.m um
- 10:06Speaker 3: okay so I see fashion fail with Alexander Skarsgård which
- 10:09Speaker 3: I forget what that is but this Tom Welling thing Oh,
- 10:12Speaker 3: you have, wait, don't gloss over Alexander Skarsgård' s fashion. What
- 10:15Speaker 3: happened to Alexander Skarsgård? Can someone show me a photo? Yes,
- 10:18Speaker 3: I will show you. How do I see it? So
- 10:20Speaker 3: what do you not like? His gold suit or his
- 10:22Speaker 3: brown shoes? His toes? Are those his toes?
- 10:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Yes. They're see-through shoes. He's obviously like going for something.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. Look at them. They're so strange. I
- 10:36Speaker 3: think he's just trying to be fashion forward. I'm not
- 10:39Speaker 3: going to judge him because I don't like any of it,
- 10:41Speaker 3: but let him live. Here's my thing.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I would be so insecure about my feet getting sweaty
- 10:47Speaker 1: and like the shoes clouding up.
- 10:49Speaker 3: I'd be like, I can't wear those. Yeah. Are there
- 10:53Speaker 3: air vents in that? There has to be. I don't
- 10:55Speaker 3: think so. Well, there's more events in your regular shoes.
- 10:59Speaker 5: No, I know.
- 10:59Speaker 1: But they're like not like the whole point of those
- 11:02Speaker 1: are to be see-through and see your toes.
- 11:04Speaker 3: But like if your feet get sweaty, those things are
- 11:06Speaker 3: clouding up. Oh, I see what you're saying. I don't
- 11:08Speaker 3: know if that would happen. Let's find out. But those
- 11:10Speaker 3: are basically like pointed toe loafers, but they're see-through. We're
- 11:15Speaker 3: glossing over the gold lame suit.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I know.
- 11:18Speaker 3: It was definitely a choice with no shirt underneath. Sometimes
- 11:22Speaker 3: I like that no shirt underneath, but I just am
- 11:24Speaker 3: like a no on this, but I'm good for you,
- 11:26Speaker 3: Alexander Skarsgård. Fine by me. I don't care what he wears.
- 11:28Speaker 3: I don't care what he wears. The thing that I
- 11:32Speaker 3: care about is this Tom Welling alleged naked thing, and
- 11:36Speaker 3: I can't see it. I cannot see it. Am I
- 11:42Speaker 3: supposed to be able to see? Oh, yeah, I see it.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I don't see it. It's blurred in this photo. Am
- 11:48Speaker 3: I supposed to be able to see his... You can
- 11:50Speaker 3: see his pee-pee. You can see it right there. I
- 11:52Speaker 3: don't see it. Give me one not blurred.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I was trying to look for one and I couldn't
- 11:57Speaker 1: find it.
- 11:57Speaker 3: I didn't want to say that. I want to see
- 12:01Speaker 3: if you really can see it. I mean, it's very
- 12:04Speaker 3: hard to see. So then there's a second one. The
- 12:10Speaker 3: second one, you can see him a bit better. The
- 12:14Speaker 3: second one, this one is... I love all the Smallville
- 12:17Speaker 3: people chiming in, though.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Yes, Michael Rosenbaum is poking fun at him.
- 12:21Speaker 3: What did he write? He's funny. I like that guy.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Just to look after my boy, Tom Welling, at New
- 12:26Speaker 3: York Comic Con. But he has shorts on. You can
- 12:28Speaker 3: see that Michael has shorts on. Let's set it up
- 12:29Speaker 3: a little bit so that people that haven't seen it...
- 12:31Speaker 3: Does he have shorts on in all of them? No, no, no.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Tom Welling does not.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Let me set this up.
- 12:36Speaker 1: So Tom Welling, he's in his hotel room, presumably... Looking
- 12:39Speaker 1: out into New York, anyone that visits New York, we
- 12:42Speaker 1: take this photo when we're in our hotel. I do
- 12:44Speaker 1: it every single time. I'm like, oh, hello, New York.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Look how beautiful it is. And it's of the skyline
- 12:50Speaker 3: and whatever.
- 12:51Speaker 1: The issue here is that he's taking a picture and
- 12:55Speaker 1: the reflection is showing him.
- 12:58Speaker 3: So you see his body. The second one is Michael Rosenbaum. Yes.
- 13:01Speaker 1: So the Michael Rosenbaum posted a picture, which clearly, yeah,
- 13:05Speaker 1: he's just like, just looking out for my boy. And
- 13:07Speaker 1: he's doing the same thing, taking a picture of the
- 13:11Speaker 1: New York skyline.
- 13:12Speaker 3: But you see him. On the Tom Welling one, all
- 13:14Speaker 3: I see is his hand. You see his hand. No,
- 13:17Speaker 3: go below. Yeah, I see it. It's right here.
- 13:20Speaker 5: And they blurred it out. A lot of these were blurred.
- 13:25Speaker 5: I looked for the unblurred. I was afraid to kind
- 13:29Speaker 5: of click around.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Click, girl. Just kidding. I want to see it, but okay, fine,
- 13:34Speaker 3: but hilarious.
- 13:35Speaker 1: So he just responds by reposting Michael Rosenbaum, right?
- 13:39Speaker 3: Or does he do something else? Yes, and then he
- 13:41Speaker 3: was in the comment section.
- 13:42Speaker 5: There's somebody saying, point of view, you're a tourist in
- 13:44Speaker 5: NYC and see Tom Welling standing at his hotel window
- 13:47Speaker 5: on October 10th.
- 13:48Speaker 3: And then Tom replied, came for the sights. Good for
- 13:52Speaker 3: Tom Welling. Good for both of them because they have
- 13:56Speaker 3: not had enough press lately and they're getting their due
- 13:59Speaker 3: because we just, first of all, oh, I'm not supposed
- 14:01Speaker 3: to say first of all, drink. We just had them
- 14:04Speaker 3: on KTLA, which is like a morning news show out here.
- 14:08Speaker 3: The segment was so good that I actually texted. And
- 14:12Speaker 3: you never do this. I never do this. The producer
- 14:15Speaker 3: that we work with, we work there. Danielle and I
- 14:16Speaker 3: work there, but we have like a boss there. So
- 14:20Speaker 3: we text her. I literally said that segment was so good,
- 14:26Speaker 3: which it was. It was amazing. And I texted the
- 14:28Speaker 3: publicist and said, it was so good. I wish they
- 14:32Speaker 3: would have been after the penis thing. I wish I
- 14:34Speaker 3: could do it again. Like we need to get Tom
- 14:36Speaker 3: Welling on every show. Good for Tom Welling. Maybe he,
- 14:40Speaker 3: winky winky, knew what he was doing. Good for Tom Welling.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I love Smallville. Did you ever watch it? No. I
- 14:46Speaker 3: used to. I didn't ever. I don't think I finished
- 14:49Speaker 3: it or watched every episode, but. It was a great show.
- 14:52Speaker 3: And Tom Welling is and was.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Like, Superman-y. I remember that. Rank your Supermans. Oh, I
- 15:03Speaker 3: have so much to talk about Ben Affleck. I don't
- 15:05Speaker 3: even know where to begin. Oh my God. We'll get
- 15:07Speaker 3: to that Batman. But first, rank our Supermans. My number
- 15:10Speaker 3: one Superman will always be Christopher Reeve. 100%. My number
- 15:15Speaker 3: two is, I think, Tom Welling. Hmm. Yeah. You guys,
- 15:20Speaker 3: do you know the Supermans? Henry Cavill would be my
- 15:23Speaker 3: number one. Not even close to my number one. Probably
- 15:26Speaker 3: number three. Maybe four. I haven't seen that much of
- 15:32Speaker 3: Henry Cavill's last one, isn't it? No, there's like two
- 15:35Speaker 3: more since then. There was the one random one, bless him,
- 15:38Speaker 3: Brandon Routh or whatever.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Oh, yes.
- 15:42Speaker 3: I liked him. He was always nice. He was so great,
- 15:43Speaker 3: but he was fine. And then there was the new guy.
- 15:46Speaker 3: None of us know his name. Oh, Barry Cornsweat or
- 15:49Speaker 3: something like that?
- 15:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 3: And then Dean Cain. You could count Dean Cain. That's
- 15:53Speaker 3: a no. For me, Tom Welling is way up high.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Way up high. Yeah. I would agree. He's up there.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Let's talk about Ben Affleck. A lot. Favorite topic. It's
- 16:11Speaker 3: really a current, I think, I don't want to say
- 16:14Speaker 3: this because I feel bad to call him Jost. but
- 16:16Speaker 3: I think Ben Affleck has moved into number one. I
- 16:19Speaker 3: don't understand this. I really, really don't. I, I don't,
- 16:22Speaker 3: he does not do it for me, but you go,
- 16:24Speaker 3: you go. And animals is a bad, good, bad movie.
- 16:30Speaker 3: There's things I liked. And then there are things that
- 16:32Speaker 3: are so bad, which we'll talk about. It's okay, Ben.
- 16:35Speaker 3: It's okay. You don't think he's hot? No, it seems
- 16:41Speaker 3: very messy to me. Messy. You mean because of the past?
- 16:44Speaker 3: Let the past be the past. No, just even now.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I don't know. Really? It does not. It doesn't do.
- 16:50Speaker 3: He does nothing for me. Can someone pull up a
- 16:52Speaker 3: picture of Matt Damon? I mean, Matt Damon. Oh my God.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Excuse me. Freudian slip. Ben Affleck. Do you remember back
- 16:57Speaker 3: in the day? You guys might be too young. The
- 16:59Speaker 3: Matt-Ben debate was so strong. Are you Matt or are
- 17:04Speaker 3: you Ben? Are you Matt or are you Ben? That
- 17:07Speaker 3: was like Generation X's. I am so Ben. I am
- 17:13Speaker 3: a thousand. What's Triple Frontier? March 13th, that was... Can you.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Do Ben Affleck's Matt Damon 2005?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Do that.
- 17:23Speaker 3: It's not even a contest. I love Matt Damon too,
- 17:25Speaker 3: but like, I am Ben. Oh my gosh. These are
- 17:31Speaker 3: like 90s photos. Well, when you're showing this, I would
- 17:35Speaker 3: say Ben. But... Me too. I think Matt. Well, here's
- 17:39Speaker 3: the thing. If I'm... If you're with Ben, you get
- 17:43Speaker 3: to be best friends with Matt. So you're getting... all
- 17:46Speaker 3: of it. You're getting the best of both worlds.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I think that Ben is just misunderstood. Here's my thing.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I think the Garner era is his best decision he
- 17:57Speaker 3: ever made in his life. I think, bless the J-Lo
- 18:01Speaker 3: mistakes twice. Really set him back. Really set him back.
- 18:07Speaker 3: They were not. They were not. Yeah. The Ben and
- 18:10Speaker 3: Jen Garner. Are you kidding me? That's, that's a, Yes,
- 18:14Speaker 3: so much. She's the 100 out of 10. I just
- 18:18Speaker 3: think he messed up twice with J-Lo. It just wasn't,
- 18:22Speaker 3: I don't know why. It wasn't good either time. Yeah.
- 18:27Speaker 3: So then SmartList dropped. So they re-dropped their episode with
- 18:32Speaker 3: Ben Affleck from like two years ago, but I didn't
- 18:35Speaker 3: know it was from two years ago. I knew it
- 18:36Speaker 3: was like a rerun, but click on it. Oh, you guys.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Was it good? Yes, because Ben is always good. but
- 18:44Speaker 3: you got to listen to the first 10 minutes.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Oh, why?
- 18:46Speaker 3: Because he's talking all about Jennifer Lopez and like the songs.
- 18:51Speaker 1: And you're just like, because you're just like, that did
- 18:55Speaker 1: not age well.
- 18:56Speaker 3: This isn't going to work out. I wish, I wish
- 18:59Speaker 3: Ben now could have told Ben then. I feel like
- 19:02Speaker 3: they're still hanging out. I feel like they're still hanging out. Absolutely.
- 19:06Speaker 3: I disagree. What makes you think that? No.
- 19:09Speaker 5: I saw earlier this year, I think Ben Affleck and JLo.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Hanging out and out in front of Craig's huggy and kissy. What? No,
- 19:18Speaker 3: I don't buy that. Look, I think they both realized
- 19:22Speaker 3: two times was not, it just didn't work twice. And
- 19:25Speaker 3: they got married.
- 19:26Speaker 2: One of them.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I know they almost got married. Let me tell you,
- 19:29Speaker 3: I did get married. I know once, but they almost
- 19:32Speaker 3: got married twice. Yeah. Here's the thing. No one believes me,
- 19:35Speaker 3: but I knew. And look, I hope Ben's not listening.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Cause Ben, I'm, I'm like your biggest number one. You
- 19:42Speaker 3: got it going on. You look great. Your movies are great.
- 19:44Speaker 3: We'll talk all about it. But I knew when Pat
- 19:48Speaker 3: O'Brien did this interview, you should have called me. me Ben.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Pat O'Brien did this interview like live in the kitchen
- 19:54Speaker 3: with Ben and J-Lo, right? I don't know where they were.
- 19:56Speaker 3: They looked like they were in a mountain cabin somewhere.
- 19:59Speaker 3: And there's this moment. And if anyone finds the footage
- 20:02Speaker 3: where Jennifer Lopez is cooking and something happens. I don't
- 20:08Speaker 3: remember if Ben went to like reach for a chicken finger.
- 20:11Speaker 3: I don't know what was happening, but she snaps at
- 20:14Speaker 3: him like, and I remember in my brain at that
- 20:21Speaker 3: moment being like, nope, this will never work. And I
- 20:27Speaker 3: was correct. Then fast forward. And again, I like both
- 20:31Speaker 3: these people. I especially love Ben Affleck. They're not meant
- 20:35Speaker 3: to be. That, movie documentary did you guys watch that.
- 20:43Speaker 5: I feel like we need to listen it was the
- 20:45Speaker 5: um when she came out with the 2.0 and she
- 20:47Speaker 5: it was like dance and everything i.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Did watch that it was there's a couple moments in
- 20:52Speaker 3: there where once again i was like.
- 20:54Speaker 1: No yeah she she should have even though it didn't
- 20:59Speaker 1: work out a rod was the right match for her
- 21:02Speaker 1: in my.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Opinion i 100 agree with you yeah 100%. Ben needs
- 21:07Speaker 3: someone different. He needs Jennifer Garner, but she's not coming back.
- 21:16Speaker 3: So he needs someone kind of like that. And also
- 21:19Speaker 3: shouldn't need to be famous. I just don't think this
- 21:21Speaker 3: is my problem with Ben.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I just don't think he's going to go for another
- 21:24Speaker 1: Jennifer Garner.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Yes, he is. Okay. I think he's figured it out.
- 21:31Speaker 3: I think he's unbothered by it and wants to stay
- 21:34Speaker 3: home and watch TV on his couch. And feels great
- 21:36Speaker 3: about that, which I support it 100%. But I think
- 21:39Speaker 3: there will come a time when he's like, I'd like
- 21:41Speaker 3: a best friend. And he'll find himself a nice best friend.
- 21:45Speaker 3: I'd love to have long conversations with Ben Affleck. You know,
- 21:48Speaker 3: he's like real smart. Let's talk about him. Well, he's
- 21:52Speaker 3: not that smart for that scene with the wagon and animals.
- 21:56Speaker 3: I can't. So Ben, let's just talk right to Ben.
- 22:00Speaker 3: The movie is not terrible. No, it's okay. It's not. Yeah,
- 22:04Speaker 3: I love all the Spanish. And it represented LA fully.
- 22:07Speaker 3: And it had sort of an interesting plot. There was
- 22:11Speaker 3: some controversy. What would you do? Yeah, a lot of
- 22:15Speaker 3: political undertone. From the wagon scene forward, the end has
- 22:21Speaker 3: me so confused. Yeah. There's two parts that are cringy.
- 22:26Speaker 3: The wagon is insane. It's like, I don't even understand. Yeah.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Why did he watch that and think that looked good?
- 22:35Speaker 5: That's what a lot of people on the internet are
- 22:36Speaker 5: wondering too. And I remember seeing it and being like,
- 22:38Speaker 5: what was that?
- 22:40Speaker 3: Did he, like what had happened when I watched it
- 22:41Speaker 3: live before all the, I watched this right when it
- 22:43Speaker 3: came out. So I didn't see all the chick talks
- 22:46Speaker 3: about the wagon. I just thought, well, that looked like
- 22:49Speaker 3: a blow up doll flying through the air. First of all,
- 22:54Speaker 3: anyone with like a modicum of science knowledge would know
- 22:57Speaker 3: that the wagon is not going to propel the child.
- 23:00Speaker 3: A big child.
- 23:01Speaker 5: Forward.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Like that. Yeah. The kid's going to just fall out
- 23:05Speaker 3: and be bloody and like scrape their knees. They're also
- 23:07Speaker 3: probably not going to die. Yeah. It's not going to
- 23:11Speaker 3: be pretty. We might have a broken arm, tooth missing. Yeah.
- 23:14Speaker 3: It's not launching it like it's a skyrocket or a,
- 23:19Speaker 3: what are those things called? Slingshot. Slingshot.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:23Speaker 3: No. Can you show Danielle the scene? Danielle, have you
- 23:27Speaker 3: seen the one scene? I haven't. It's absolutely absurd. And
- 23:31Speaker 3: I know my Ben. I don't know why he didn't
- 23:34Speaker 3: look at that. I mean, this guy's won an Oscar. Multiple.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Why did he not watch that?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Imagine working at Netflix and denied a raise.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Someone's real mad. This is like on TikTok links. Someone's
- 23:49Speaker 3: really mad about something.
- 23:51Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a TikToker going off about the scene.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Okay, well, let me see it. Oh, watch the scene.
- 23:57Speaker 3: And it, okay, somebody made the comparison to that 80s
- 24:00Speaker 3: movie that Paul Rudd always, like, Paul Rudd has this bit.
- 24:04Speaker 3: I can't remember who he did it with. I think Conan. Conan.
- 24:06Speaker 3: They'd be like, let's watch the clip. And then every
- 24:08Speaker 3: time it's this old 80s movie of a kid in
- 24:11Speaker 3: a wagon going down, it's worse than that. Oh, no,
- 24:17Speaker 3: the kid's in a wheelchair in the other one. And
- 24:19Speaker 3: flies off a cliff. Does that kid live in that
- 24:22Speaker 3: Paul Rudd movie?
- 24:22Speaker 5: I have never seen that movie until the reference, and
- 24:25Speaker 5: I had to look it up for this.
- 24:28Speaker 3: But it was horrible. Oh, I'd seen Paul Rudd do
- 24:30Speaker 3: that clip so many times. But, Danielle, are you watching it?
- 24:34Speaker 3: I need a live reaction. I'm trying to.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Jackie, you're going to have to text it to me
- 24:38Speaker 1: because it's not coming up on my computer.
- 24:42Speaker 3: While she does that, did someone boo you?
- 24:43Speaker 2: No.
- 24:45Speaker 3: What? You don't know what it means? Oh, this? The
- 24:47Speaker 3: Halloween thing?
- 24:48Speaker 1: Yeah. No, those are for my kids for Halloween morning.
- 24:50Speaker 1: I went to Target over the weekend and I just
- 24:52Speaker 1: grabbed it.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Oh, you already got it organized. Yeah. You're going to
- 24:56Speaker 3: be the booer to your kids. Yeah, so this was
- 24:59Speaker 3: not a thing with me growing up. No, I learned
- 25:01Speaker 3: about it later. So like, say you would do it
- 25:04Speaker 3: to Missy. So you would drop off a couple things
- 25:08Speaker 3: like that that you have in the background to Missy's
- 25:10Speaker 3: kids and say, you've been booed. And I think you
- 25:13Speaker 3: don't even reveal who you are. Hoo, hoo, that makes
- 25:17Speaker 3: me think of Halloween. But maybe you reveal, you might
- 25:22Speaker 3: reveal it. I don't know on that, but you definitely
- 25:24Speaker 3: surprise them. And it's pre-Halloween. That's pre-Halloween. Wait, please watch this.
- 25:31Speaker 3: I'm trying to. What is taking so long? I'm going
- 25:34Speaker 3: to start eating a chip. Oh, there it is. Here
- 25:36Speaker 3: we are. Okay, watch the scene and then just live react.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Did you see the kid come hurling out of the wagon? Yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 3: and the wagon just goes right back in. And then
- 25:43Speaker 3: there's like, there's all this controversy because I guess Ben
- 25:46Speaker 3: said he did use AI, but I'm not going to
- 25:48Speaker 3: say when. That's fully AI. We know when, Ben. Yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 3: we know. I was surprised he direct, first of all,
- 25:56Speaker 3: I thought it was a series. The promotion was not clear.
- 25:59Speaker 3: That was a really bad scene. Terrible. There you go. Terrible.
- 26:04Speaker 3: But the movie is actually not, wholly terrible. There are
- 26:09Speaker 3: parts that are weird. The ending is confusing. The other
- 26:11Speaker 3: scene I cannot handle. I cannot. And maybe it's because
- 26:14Speaker 3: of my love of Ben. I don't know. But Jackie,
- 26:17Speaker 3: when Kerry Washington and Ben Affleck are in the bed.
- 26:20Speaker 3: What do you want? Don't bleep out my swear. It's
- 26:26Speaker 3: so cringy. Yeah.
- 26:28Speaker 5: When he says what I want and he's like, I
- 26:30Speaker 5: want to be president. I want to F my wife
- 26:33Speaker 5: and I wanted to do it.
- 26:35Speaker 3: And then she says it. It was like, what? Ew.
- 26:43Speaker 3: What was the turning point? But it was a bad,
- 26:47Speaker 3: like scripted, like I under, like, I don't even mind
- 26:50Speaker 3: the scene. And I like that it's their moment where
- 26:53Speaker 3: they're going to reunite and be on the same page again.
- 26:56Speaker 3: It's the, It's the script. I was like, ew.
- 27:01Speaker 5: It just didn't come across right. And you know, he
- 27:03Speaker 5: tried to get Jennifer Garner for the Kerry Washington role.
- 27:05Speaker 3: I know, I would have loved that. But he wasn't
- 27:07Speaker 3: going to be him. He was just going to direct it.
- 27:08Speaker 3: And I think Matt was going to be him. Oh,
- 27:10Speaker 3: that's right. It was Matt and Jennifer Garner.
- 27:12Speaker 1: And yeah.
- 27:12Speaker 3: That would have been awesome. But that one, that scene. Yeah, no,
- 27:19Speaker 3: I'm good. I didn't really like the movie. I just
- 27:21Speaker 3: don't want to hear Ben Affleck saying that in that way. Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 3: It was cringy, definitely. But the rest I liked other
- 27:29Speaker 3: than who was the kidnapper? We never got the answer.
- 27:35Speaker 3: So actually it was- I thought we'd know. Sort of.
- 27:38Speaker 3: We didn't see his face, but apparently- They took that
- 27:41Speaker 3: mask off, that weird cat mask or whatever.
- 27:43Speaker 5: His law firm, his dad's law firm sued somebody for
- 27:48Speaker 5: contaminating water and it put out this man's business.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Did they forget to tell us that or was it
- 27:54Speaker 3: just in those clips in the beginning? It was in
- 27:56Speaker 3: the clips in the beginning.
- 27:57Speaker 5: They showed like the newspaper articles and the guy on
- 28:00Speaker 5: the computer like looking for him and stuff.
- 28:02Speaker 3: But that's it. And it was just. And also I
- 28:04Speaker 3: thought Gillian Anderson wasn't great. Sorry, Gillian Anderson. She was
- 28:10Speaker 3: a little like over the top or something. yeah it
- 28:14Speaker 3: was too much her head popped off it's just.
- 28:16Speaker 5: Like yeah I just I didn't get it I didn't
- 28:19Speaker 5: walk away from this film thinking that was good I
- 28:21Speaker 5: like like voicemails from Isabel I was like oh that
- 28:24Speaker 5: was the same yeah.
- 28:26Speaker 6: But I get it I didn't walk away from this
- 28:28Speaker 6: thinking it was awful though oh I did oh I
- 28:32Speaker 6: didn't oh god I got you Ben I got you
- 28:35Speaker 6: it wasn't awful it just had flaws yeah I was
- 28:41Speaker 6: entertained throughout.
- 28:42Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, I'm in, I'm in, I'm in. All right.
- 28:45Speaker 3: If Ben Affleck wasn't in it, how would you feel? Well,
- 28:48Speaker 3: is it Colin Farrell? Like, who is it? No, I'm
- 28:51Speaker 3: pretty into Ben right now. I'm pretty into Ben. I'm
- 28:54Speaker 3: not going to lie. Like, I'd watch something else with Ben.
- 28:58Speaker 3: What else has he got going on? What else can I.
- 29:01Speaker 2: See him in?
- 29:03Speaker 3: I do not have the answer to that. We'll let
- 29:06Speaker 3: the people wonder. Danielle, did you catch this last night
- 29:10Speaker 3: on Dancing with the Stars?
- 29:11Speaker 5: And I want to see if this is a cringe
- 29:12Speaker 5: moment for you.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Okay. When Harry Shum.
- 29:15Speaker 5: And Jenna Johnson were getting judged and Carrie Ann Anaba
- 29:19Speaker 5: called out.
- 29:22Speaker 3: The lifts and the content.
- 29:24Speaker 5: I was like, oh, and even Derek Hough was like, oh,
- 29:28Speaker 5: I feel like.
- 29:29Speaker 3: I just got in trouble.
- 29:30Speaker 5: I was like, oh, that was cringy did you think.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Carrie Ann was cringy or Jenna was cringy for fighting
- 29:35Speaker 3: back on it she's all the lift yeah all of
- 29:39Speaker 3: it I love that I love that stuff give me
- 29:43Speaker 3: more cringe on that show give me more fighting give
- 29:46Speaker 3: me more all.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Of it there was a bunch of clips this morning
- 29:49Speaker 1: with like past lifts on the show where Carrie Ann
- 29:52Speaker 1: was like who cares about lifts that was amazing like
- 29:56Speaker 1: you know and she's just not like steady on it Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Let them lift. Why is there a rule? Let them
- 30:04Speaker 3: throw them in the air. They got to have rules,
- 30:06Speaker 3: but I don't care. Here's what I thought. It's all
- 30:09Speaker 3: very same right now. No one stood out to me
- 30:13Speaker 3: last night. Oh, I disagree. Talk to me. I disagree.
- 30:17Speaker 3: I am thoroughly enthralled. I am sat. I am watching.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I am sick as a dog right now, as you
- 30:23Speaker 1: probably can tell. And I somehow did this.
- 30:26Speaker 3: For who? For my bed. Just all of them. No,
- 30:29Speaker 3: but who's standing out to you? For me, they're all same,
- 30:32Speaker 3: but good. I'm not saying they're all bad. They're all good. Maura.
- 30:35Speaker 3: I love Maura. I didn't think it was her best night.
- 30:39Speaker 1: It wasn't, but I still love watching her. I love
- 30:41Speaker 1: watching her. I love watching Ezra. I love watching Harry.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Jenna is... When they did the Paso, I was like...
- 30:49Speaker 1: I literally was... Clapping.
- 30:51Speaker 3: I was like, finally for Val. Yay. Yeah.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
- 30:55Speaker 2: On it.
- 30:55Speaker 3: I felt it. Mm-hmm. Whitney Carson. Whitney Carson. She's awesome.
- 31:01Speaker 1: I have no words for you. I have, I am
- 31:05Speaker 1: so proud of her. One, two, how empowering. And three,
- 31:10Speaker 1: it just like, look, I once was pregnant and I
- 31:14Speaker 1: know how you feel during that time and you are
- 31:16Speaker 1: not wanting to do the splits or let alone.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Kick your leg in the air.
- 31:20Speaker 1: And she just is defying all the odds.
- 31:24Speaker 3: She's fire. Incredible. I just, she's, she's changing the show single-handedly.
- 31:30Speaker 3: I just love it. Love it. Love it. Love it.
- 31:33Speaker 3: I just think all the rest were all equally good.
- 31:35Speaker 3: And I don't want Tyler to go home.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I might be on my own Island for this, but Tyler,
- 31:41Speaker 1: I love watching him dance.
- 31:43Speaker 3: I don't want him to go home at all. Look,
- 31:45Speaker 3: it was Guillermo's time to go. That wasn't a bad,
- 31:48Speaker 3: it was time. But the rest, I'm like, they're all good. No, wait,
- 31:52Speaker 3: but Julia Stiles, guys, she brought out Save the Last Dance.
- 31:56Speaker 3: I know, I know. She brought out her co-star, Sean
- 31:59Speaker 3: Patrick Thomas.
- 32:00Speaker 5: It's like, this was the right time to pull that
- 32:02Speaker 5: out because we were all waiting.
- 32:04Speaker 3: I agree. And I'm so glad she did. And she
- 32:06Speaker 3: did the chair thing and the thing and this. I
- 32:08Speaker 3: saw that, yep, yep. No, it was good. It was good.
- 32:11Speaker 3: So I'm glad she did because I'd be like.
- 32:13Speaker 5: She was struggling the week before and she couldn't like
- 32:16Speaker 5: connect with people. I think she was too like straight face.
- 32:19Speaker 3: Let me tell you what I didn't care for. And
- 32:22Speaker 3: I don't want, and I like the, I like the
- 32:24Speaker 3: Kardashians a lot. Do not get me wrong. I thought
- 32:28Speaker 3: Khloe and I love Khloe. She might be my favorite
- 32:30Speaker 3: Kardashian was a little too mean about that teacher. I
- 32:35Speaker 3: did not care for that. I thought, you know, he
- 32:39Speaker 3: responded back. He clapped back a little good for him
- 32:42Speaker 3: because he, I didn't think that was nice. And I
- 32:45Speaker 3: didn't see any reason why she needed to do that.
- 32:49Speaker 3: She didn't need to criticize his name either because the
- 32:52Speaker 3: J and the Y. It's like Jacob. That's how you
- 32:54Speaker 3: pronounce it in Spanish. I thought that was so not,
- 32:57Speaker 3: I thought it was mean. Now, what I loved was
- 33:00Speaker 3: the original part. So this teacher, just to catch people up,
- 33:03Speaker 3: and I'm totally paraphrasing because I can't even remember the
- 33:05Speaker 3: whole thing. The teacher posts like, I'm... you know, six
- 33:11Speaker 3: feet tall. I'm a teacher, sixth grade, whatever it is.
- 33:13Speaker 3: I'm making this up. Single, I live in Carmel or
- 33:15Speaker 3: wherever it was, Santa Cruz. And he's like, I'm just
- 33:19Speaker 3: looking for someone to hang out with, something like that.
- 33:22Speaker 3: And then she wrote a cute little comment. What was
- 33:27Speaker 3: it like? I'll hang out or something. This is not it,
- 33:31Speaker 3: but it's something to this. How's your, oh yeah, I'm
- 33:33Speaker 3: just wanting someone to come home to and ask me
- 33:34Speaker 3: how my day was. So she wrote, how's your day?
- 33:37Speaker 3: Very cute, very adorable. Love it. Got a lot of attention.
- 33:42Speaker 3: I understand that's probably overwhelming for the teacher. Right. He's like, oh,
- 33:46Speaker 3: I didn't want this to turn into.
- 33:47Speaker 1: This, right?
- 33:48Speaker 3: I get it. I get all that part. He allegedly
- 33:51Speaker 3: DM'd her a few times, which, cute. Maybe he should
- 33:56Speaker 3: have kept it more public. I don't know. Dating is hard.
- 33:59Speaker 3: That's why he wanted to shoot his shot.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Right.
- 34:01Speaker 3: So he shot his shot, right? He's like, how are you?
- 34:04Speaker 3: I don't know what he said, right? So now we're
- 34:08Speaker 3: watching the Kardashians, right? Which, is delayed. Right. Am I
- 34:13Speaker 3: getting this right? And she really was not so nice.
- 34:18Speaker 3: She like, yeah, she sort of made fun of his name.
- 34:21Speaker 3: He says, she's got all these DMS. She's like, I'm
- 34:24Speaker 3: not going to talk to this guy. Kind of just like, well, yeah,
- 34:28Speaker 3: not like her too. She's very, yeah. Maybe she's having
- 34:33Speaker 3: a bad day. I don't know, but I just thought, Oh,
- 34:36Speaker 3: I didn't care for that. It was scary. I'd rather
- 34:41Speaker 3: watch that wagon scene I'd rather watch Ben Affleck in
- 34:45Speaker 3: that bed scene with Kerry Washington I need to find
- 34:49Speaker 3: it I put in.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Our group chat about what the teacher said back.
- 34:53Speaker 5: He says he gets schooled by his when the student
- 34:57Speaker 5: who hates when.
- 34:59Speaker 1: They try to roast and embarrass me on the Kardashians
- 35:01Speaker 1: but I get roasted by high schoolers every single day and.
- 35:05Speaker 3: It's just him being like I just saw no need
- 35:08Speaker 3: to roast him Yeah. Like this guy's a teacher. He's
- 35:12Speaker 3: like doing awesome. Oh, I did not like when she said,
- 35:16Speaker 3: and his name is Y-A-C-O-B. Get a J. Also, like,
- 35:22Speaker 3: let's not forget you commented on his page. Also just
- 35:27Speaker 3: wasn't necessary to be so mean. Just say, I just
- 35:30Speaker 3: think there could have been a whole nother way. Oh
- 35:32Speaker 3: my God, that like, this is, and she could have
- 35:34Speaker 3: said like, this is why I can't date because I,
- 35:37Speaker 3: I do one thing. And so, you know, there's so
- 35:38Speaker 3: many ways to do it.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Right, right.
- 35:41Speaker 3: So I don't know. Let's just. Chloe, you've had better days, Chloe.
- 35:46Speaker 3: You've had better days, Chloe. Yeah, just be nice. It's whatever.
- 35:49Speaker 3: I still love everybody. I do like Chloe, but I think, oh,
- 35:52Speaker 3: she's having a bad day. How do we feel about
- 35:56Speaker 3: girls coming back? I never watched the original. You didn't?
- 36:01Speaker 3: It's sort of an, it's sort of a sex in
- 36:04Speaker 3: the city kind of. turned on its head.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Thing yeah I know this is a big deal and
- 36:10Speaker 1: people really care about it I'm I'm all for seeing
- 36:13Speaker 1: Lena Dunham back on screen so I'm I'm here for it.
- 36:17Speaker 5: I'm okay with it I watched it and but it
- 36:19Speaker 5: wasn't one of my shows where I was like sat
- 36:21Speaker 5: and you know yeah it was just like oh I
- 36:24Speaker 5: you know down a list of shows I'll watch this
- 36:27Speaker 5: episode but I'm okay with it I'm like whatever about
- 36:31Speaker 5: it to be honest like yeah no fair But I
- 36:35Speaker 5: like that they're only going to do five episodes.
- 36:36Speaker 3: This is not going to be a whole big reboot.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Which is five. I liked it. I liked how they
- 36:42Speaker 3: brought it back. I liked that YouTube announcement or whatever, TikToks, Instagram,
- 36:46Speaker 3: wherever you watched it. I randomly watched it on YouTube.
- 36:49Speaker 3: And that guy I like that, menopause. What's that cutie's
- 36:53Speaker 3: name in the shower with the toothbrush? What is that
- 36:57Speaker 3: cutie's name? Adam Driver? No, the other guy. Andrew Runnells.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Andrew Runnells. He's so cute. He's like my favorite part. Yeah.
- 37:08Speaker 2: All right.
- 37:08Speaker 3: I'm in. What about Tobey Maguire doing the wedding? Oh,
- 37:15Speaker 3: my God.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Officiating your ex-wife's wedding.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Kind of awesome. It is kind of awesome.
- 37:22Speaker 1: I mean... It's awesome in the sense that like it
- 37:25Speaker 1: just shows that you can have a great relationship with
- 37:27Speaker 1: your ex.
- 37:29Speaker 3: But this is like she wanted him to do it. Right.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Because he's not in that position because he won that position.
- 37:36Speaker 1: It's like you only get asked to be the officiant
- 37:39Speaker 1: if the people that are getting married want that.
- 37:42Speaker 3: So like not only was it her decision, but her
- 37:44Speaker 3: new husband's. Yeah, it did. First of all, bless her,
- 37:48Speaker 3: because maybe she doesn't care. Took a little of the
- 37:49Speaker 3: excitement off of her. Because the story is all about
- 37:52Speaker 3: Tobey Maguire doing the wedding. Also, where's Tobey Maguire? We
- 37:55Speaker 3: talk about that all the time.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Retired? But that's kind of cool.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I do think it's weird, but it's cool. If it
- 38:04Speaker 1: works for them, great. But I think about every ex
- 38:07Speaker 1: I have and I'm like, yeah, no. I don't want
- 38:11Speaker 1: you officiating my wedding.
- 38:14Speaker 3: But good for them. Yeah. And Leo was there. Great
- 38:19Speaker 3: guest list. very great list uh guest list i mean
- 38:23Speaker 3: all right and it says mcguire and myers a meaningful
- 38:27Speaker 3: reunion came more than a week after they finally settled their.
- 38:29Speaker 5: Divorce so didn't they get divorced they've been separated since
- 38:34Speaker 5: 2016 yeah like 10 years ago so i think officially.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Longer do they have kids together they do they have
- 38:40Speaker 1: teenagers 19 and 17 that.
- 38:42Speaker 3: They're like showing their kids like Yeah, we're still buds.
- 38:46Speaker 5: And then she has a new four-month-old daughter with the
- 38:50Speaker 5: new husband.
- 38:51Speaker 3: I'm all for it. Jeffrey Ogunlese. Great stuff. And Jana
- 38:56Speaker 3: Kramer did not call me back yet to talk about
- 38:58Speaker 3: how she looks like. Should we try her again? We're
- 39:01Speaker 3: bright at the same time. She's not going to answer
- 39:03Speaker 3: us again. She's not going to answer, yeah. She might
- 39:04Speaker 3: be in dinner time with her kids. Should we try, though?
- 39:06Speaker 3: You can try. Let's just see if she... After this,
- 39:10Speaker 3: I'm going to lay horizontal on my bed and work. Oh,
- 39:12Speaker 3: are you sick? I'll help you with that. I've got tips.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Hold on.
- 39:16Speaker 3: We're calling Jana really fast. Who does she look like again? Haley? Chloe.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Chloe Bennett. Why did I think her name was Haley?
- 39:22Speaker 3: Chloe Bennett. Chloe Bennett?
- 39:24Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Maybe she's making a movie. I think Jana might be
- 39:27Speaker 3: on a movie, making a movie right now. Your call
- 39:30Speaker 3: has been forwarded. Oh, you know what? It's fall break,
- 39:33Speaker 3: and so she might be out. Sometimes she'll come back
- 39:36Speaker 3: to us. Oh my God, before we go. Tell me.
- 39:40Speaker 3: How hot is Austin Butler? Oh, I've said this forever.
- 39:45Speaker 3: I am a big fan of his. There's something... very
- 39:49Speaker 3: demure very um awesome demure awesome demure was demure a
- 39:57Speaker 3: word for a minute there that was like yes it
- 39:58Speaker 3: was yes yeah yes it was a it was a
- 40:01Speaker 3: TikTok sound I don't know what the word is other
- 40:02Speaker 3: than he's so hot and is Michael B Jordan the
- 40:05Speaker 3: other one it's like Philip Michael Thomas and Don Johnson
- 40:08Speaker 3: and Austin Butler is the one guy and Michael B
- 40:11Speaker 3: Jordan's the other there Am I right? She's speaking a
- 40:15Speaker 3: different language than me right now. Do you know Miami Vice?
- 40:18Speaker 3: Have you ever heard of it? I've heard it, but
- 40:20Speaker 3: I know Miami Vice. Was there ever a Miami Vice
- 40:22Speaker 3: movie already or no? Is this the first one? I'm
- 40:27Speaker 3: not sure. Oh, you mean they're playing in the movie? Yeah, no.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Austin Butler is the Don Johnson character and Philip Michael
- 40:33Speaker 3: Thomas is Michael B. Jordan. It's fine. I already know
- 40:38Speaker 3: I'm right. And they're hot, but Austin Butler... Because they're
- 40:42Speaker 3: showing more video of Austin Butler. I haven't seen as
- 40:44Speaker 3: much Michael B. Jordan.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Wow.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Okay, well, I'll tell myself. Sorry I wasn't in my
- 40:55Speaker 3: A game today. Well, you're sick. But you did great
- 40:58Speaker 3: for being sick. Yeah, I, you know. On a scale
- 41:02Speaker 3: of one to ten, where are you feeling? Can I
- 41:03Speaker 3: show you something? You promise not to judge me. You
- 41:06Speaker 3: are not allowed to judge me. Is it a thing
- 41:07Speaker 3: of snot? I don't want to say that. Okay, yeah,
- 41:09Speaker 3: of course. And the orange things in this are the
- 41:11Speaker 3: oranges I try to eat. That's just all. That's all tissues.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I had my coffee this morning and it's been on
- 41:21Speaker 1: my desk and I've just been.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Putting the tissues in it. Tissues in it.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:26Speaker 3: That's gross. And then the orange peels are the cutie
- 41:29Speaker 3: I eat. It's gross. Can you get a garbage can
- 41:32Speaker 3: in there?
- 41:33Speaker 1: Well, the reason why I didn't put it in my
- 41:34Speaker 1: garbage can is because I wanted to stay in here.
- 41:36Speaker 1: I put it in here so that I'm like, it's
- 41:39Speaker 1: going to go in my trash can when I get inside.
- 41:41Speaker 3: I'm not judging you. I want to gag a little bit.
- 41:43Speaker 2: I know.
- 41:43Speaker 3: It's gross. You need to go take a bath. Do
- 41:45Speaker 3: you have a bathtub? I do. I do.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I took a hot shower for 20 minutes this morning
- 41:51Speaker 1: and just sat in there.
- 41:52Speaker 3: 20 minutes? That's like short for me. It's long for me.
- 41:56Speaker 3: I don't like being in the water for that long.
- 41:58Speaker 3: Has the whole family gotten it yet or no? The toddler...
- 42:03Speaker 3: I think it's the one that gave it to me. Oh, nice.
- 42:06Speaker 3: The baby, I'm just praying. He was sick two weeks ago.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I'm praying he gave it to the toddler and then
- 42:12Speaker 1: the toddler gave it to me because I really don't
- 42:14Speaker 1: want the baby to get it.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Yeah. And John never gets sick. He's annoying. Oh, don't
- 42:20Speaker 3: say that. Yes, he does. Yes, he does. Ever. He
- 42:24Speaker 3: gets sick once every two years.
- 42:26Speaker 1: And when he's sick, we do not see him for
- 42:28Speaker 1: a week because he cannot get out of bed.
- 42:30Speaker 3: That's how men are. I'm sorry, but would they get sick?
- 42:34Speaker 3: It's like the worst thing in the world. And then
- 42:37Speaker 3: we work through everything.
- 42:38Speaker 1: And I'm still putting down the babies and wearing a mask.
- 42:42Speaker 3: I'm like, I can't. Same. I feel you on that one.
- 42:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:47Speaker 3: But at least it's only once every two years. But
- 42:50Speaker 3: he's out. What are you going to do now? A
- 42:52Speaker 3: bath or sleep or what? Because I have a lot
- 42:54Speaker 3: of work to do. I just need to be horizontal
- 42:57Speaker 3: on my computer. Yeah. I'm going to blow dry my
- 42:59Speaker 3: hair now that it's four o'clock. I know. You know what?
- 43:04Speaker 3: We need to stop doing that because people listening are
- 43:07Speaker 3: also having a day. They don't need to hear about us.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Sometimes people like to know other people are having days too.
- 43:12Speaker 3: We're always having days. We're always having days. But I'm
- 43:15Speaker 3: not mad at it. I also do it with a smile.
- 43:17Speaker 3: Just smile on my way. You're right. And I got
- 43:20Speaker 3: my weekly sandwich because remember I'm only allowed one a week. Yep.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Delicious.
- 43:24Speaker 3: That was good. Last time I went, the line was
- 43:27Speaker 3: out the door. Today, it was, I wanted a better time.
- 43:30Speaker 3: If you hit that place at noon, oof, All right. Well,
- 43:37Speaker 3: to be continued. Oh, my God. She just put another
- 43:44Speaker 3: crumpled up tissue in her mug. I don't know why
- 43:48Speaker 3: you do it in the mug. I love you guys.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Bye-bye.
- 43:51Speaker 3: Feel better. We'll be here next week, and you can
- 43:54Speaker 3: listen if you want to. Oh, look at Jackie doing
- 43:56Speaker 3: the out. Good job, Jackie.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Thanks, Jackie.
- 44:00Speaker 3: Thanks for holding it down.
