- 0:00Speaker 1: Bring on the popcorn moment brought to you by Boer. B-O-O-H-E-R. BoerRemodeling.com. Kitchens, bathrooms, basements.
- 0:07Speaker 1: And for me, the kitchen is done. It was the
- 0:10Speaker 1: final steps. The countertop, the backsplash, the new sink, right?
- 0:15Speaker 1: Because ours was a drop-in and this is the undermount.
- 0:18Speaker 1: It is very deep. Our sink is deep. We are
- 0:21Speaker 1: single bowl people. So basically, we don't care the size
- 0:25Speaker 1: of the pot. It's going in. It's absolutely amazing. Checked
- 0:30Speaker 1: out a whole bunch of stuff with Boer because when
- 0:32Speaker 1: you're working with Boer, you're going right to these manufacturers,
- 0:35Speaker 1: right to these places where they've got all the different
- 0:38Speaker 1: types of stone. We looked at quartz and quartzite. We
- 0:40Speaker 1: looked at marble and we looked at granite. We looked
- 0:42Speaker 1: at all of these things. And we thought we were
- 0:45Speaker 1: going to be people who ended up with the quartz.
- 0:47Speaker 1: And we walked away with a granite, this weird, weird
- 0:53Speaker 1: kind of flavor of granite called Blue Dunes. And we
- 0:56Speaker 1: didn't take it glossy.
- 0:57Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 0:58Speaker 1: We had it honed, leathered, and then you can actually,
- 1:02Speaker 1: there's texture in our countertop, which is really, really weird. Very,
- 1:08Speaker 1: very cool. Now, my style might not be your style.
- 1:11Speaker 1: That's fine. The point is, with Bua Remodeling, you've got
- 1:14Speaker 1: all the opportunities for all the styles you're looking for
- 1:17Speaker 1: because they've got the hookups that connects to all the
- 1:20Speaker 1: people who are doing it right. And let me tell you,
- 1:23Speaker 1: when they measured, everything was laser measured. And when they
- 1:26Speaker 1: did the install, I was doing the show, right? So
- 1:31Speaker 1: when I left the kitchen, they had just gotten rid
- 1:35Speaker 1: of the old countertop, the old tile and everything else,
- 1:38Speaker 1: all done, easy cleanup. They were fantastic. By the time
- 1:42Speaker 1: I was done with the midday show, the countertop was there.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Nobody had to cut anything. There was no, hey, we
- 1:49Speaker 1: have to cut this again. We got to get you
- 1:50Speaker 1: a whole new countertop.
- 1:51Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 1:52Speaker 1: It was right the first time.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Boom.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Done.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Perfect. And the rest was just flowing after that. Talk
- 2:02Speaker 1: to Boer Remodeling today to get the kitchen you want,
- 2:05Speaker 1: because I got the kitchen I wanted. Boer Remodeling, 317-852-5546.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Tell them Tony Katz sent you.
- 2:10Speaker 3: 317-852-5546.

- 2:12Speaker 1: popcorn moment. Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go.
- 2:28Speaker 1: It's the story you need to hear to believe and
- 2:31Speaker 1: then grab your popcorn because there is more. Now, I
- 2:36Speaker 1: have not checked to see who's down there in Dallas
- 2:42Speaker 1: for the convention. I'm going to reach out to a
- 2:43Speaker 1: couple people, get them on the show midday. I think
- 2:46Speaker 1: Corey Wood is down there, who's a political strategist. works
- 2:50Speaker 1: with a bunch of local candidates. He's working on the
- 2:53Speaker 1: Vivek Ramaswamy campaign. I'll reach out to him and I'll
- 2:57Speaker 1: see if he's available to give us some updates on
- 2:59Speaker 1: what's going down there on the scene. But one of
- 3:03Speaker 1: the big stories that came out was that the jurors
- 3:06Speaker 1: in the Lindsay Clancy case are now speaking out. The
- 3:10Speaker 1: jurors in the Lindsay Clancy case are not doing a
- 3:14Speaker 1: great job of telling the story of Regarding women. Now,
- 3:22Speaker 1: I want to make sure I'm clear about a couple
- 3:24Speaker 1: of things. First, my issue is not with women. My
- 3:30Speaker 1: issue is with liberal white women. My issue is with
- 3:36Speaker 1: whether or not we're willing to accept the fact that
- 3:38Speaker 1: this woman, Lindsay Clancy, murdered her three children.
- 3:41Speaker 2: She did.
- 3:42Speaker 1: She murdered her three kids, one at a time. She
- 3:47Speaker 1: strangled them. Why in the world would anyone think, well,
- 3:55Speaker 1: this is something that we really just need to understand.
- 4:01Speaker 1: The question is about whether or not she has sanity.
- 4:05Speaker 1: And I would say to you, I don't know if
- 4:07Speaker 1: she has sanity, but it's very clear based on reporting
- 4:12Speaker 1: that this was some premeditated stuff. This brings us to
- 4:17Speaker 1: the jurors, and I'm going to share with you some
- 4:19Speaker 1: of what they said. In interviews, they're allowed to speak. Afterwards,
- 4:22Speaker 1: they're allowed to speak. And this was some of their
- 4:27Speaker 1: commentary and why this matters so very, very much.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Listen.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Listen.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Ronnie talked a lot about how managing those deliberations was
- 4:39Speaker 4: harder than her work as a fifth grade teacher. And
- 4:42Speaker 4: they confirmed there was one holdout juror. I asked them
- 4:45Speaker 4: what they thought of him being described by the prosecution
- 4:49Speaker 4: as a rogue juror. Here's what they said.
- 4:53Speaker 5: He was very arrogant. He really did not take anything
- 4:58Speaker 5: that anybody said. The nurses, he tried to ask a
- 5:03Speaker 5: question about the medications, and we went back to the
- 5:09Speaker 5: report from South Shore Hospital. We had the toxicology report.
- 5:12Speaker 5: We could see exactly the amounts. The nurses in the
- 5:16Speaker 5: room spoke to that and talked to that.
- 5:19Speaker 4: There were nurses on the jury.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:22Speaker 5: And they spoke to that specific thing. That was a
- 5:26Speaker 5: question that he had. And he just completely disregarded the
- 5:31Speaker 5: information that they gave him.
- 5:33Speaker 1: So let's stop for a moment. The jurist here is
- 5:38Speaker 1: upset with the male juror. The juror here, not the jurist.
- 5:42Speaker 1: The juror here is upset with the male juror for
- 5:44Speaker 1: disregarding what the other jurors said who happened to be nurses.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Why were nurses who were on the jury giving their
- 5:55Speaker 1: medical opinion to what the testimony is? The testimony is
- 6:00Speaker 1: the testimony. That's what you're supposed to be basing things on,
- 6:03Speaker 1: not what some juror says. Are you telling me that
- 6:08Speaker 1: there were nurses on the juror who tainted the jury?
- 6:11Speaker 1: Because that's what she's admitting to. At that moment, the
- 6:18Speaker 1: argument that I have been making about liberal white women
- 6:21Speaker 1: Or liberal women, which some people could extrapolate out to women,
- 6:25Speaker 1: and I'm going to get heat for it. But my gosh,
- 6:28Speaker 1: what the hell is this? Take it out of that
- 6:31Speaker 1: realm for just a moment. What men were swayed by this?
- 6:36Speaker 1: What anyone was swayed by this? This is a jury
- 6:38Speaker 1: that didn't listen to instructions. That's what I'm hearing. The
- 6:44Speaker 1: nurses explained what the testimony meant. No, that was their interpretation.
- 6:48Speaker 1: The testimony is the testimony. Why didn't you listen to
- 6:54Speaker 1: the nurses on the jury? What's wrong with you? Well,
- 6:57Speaker 1: let's talk about what's right with him.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I would not have.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Listened to the testimony or the explanation from the nurses
- 7:05Speaker 1: on the jury either. The testimony is the testimony. This
- 7:11Speaker 1: is to me a signal, like it is to a
- 7:13Speaker 1: lot of people, that this jury is very messed up.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Here's another juror.
- 7:18Speaker 3: He had reasonable doubt. He admitted he had reasonable doubt
- 7:22Speaker 3: after we watched that video of the interview. I think
- 7:25Speaker 3: that's when it was. He admitted he had reasonable doubt.
- 7:28Speaker 3: And I started filling out the forms. I was so excited.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I actually, there were three forms I had to fill out.
- 7:36Speaker 3: And I started filling them out. I wrote my signature
- 7:39Speaker 3: on each one. And then he said, but I'm still
- 7:42Speaker 3: not going to say that she's not guilty by reason
- 7:45Speaker 3: of insanity.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I'm not sure if rogue is the right word, Sue,
- 7:49Speaker 2: but every one of us in the hours of frustration
- 7:55Speaker 2: would get up and walk the room because you just
- 7:57Speaker 2: couldn't sit anymore and would all go to the cart
- 8:00Speaker 2: with the exhibits. He, I think, got up to the
- 8:05Speaker 2: cart once very briefly and went back to his seat.
- 8:09Speaker 2: He would not.
- 8:12Speaker 2: He would not interact with us and try to understand.
- 8:19Speaker 2: We read to him on numerous occasions the definition of
- 8:22Speaker 2: a reasonable doubt from Judge Sullivan's instruction. He actually said
- 8:28Speaker 2: one day in the end, well, why don't we have
- 8:30Speaker 2: the judge come in and read it again? And we
- 8:32Speaker 2: were like, no, we have it in front of us.
- 8:37Speaker 2: We don't need that. And we would highlight it. And,
- 8:40Speaker 2: you know, so-and-so, this is the definition of a reason
- 8:45Speaker 2: to vote. But he had the hardest time getting over
- 8:47Speaker 2: the fact that Lindsay viciously killed her children.
- 8:51Speaker 1: He had the hardest time getting over that fact?
- 8:54Speaker 2: Okay. Okay.
- 8:58Speaker 5: I would.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Argue that.
- 9:05Speaker 1: There can be more to this case than you and
- 9:07Speaker 1: I know. And I could argue that there was frustration
- 9:12Speaker 1: in the jury room. But I believe that this is admission.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Admission that they just wanted to go home. And that's
- 9:24Speaker 1: never a thing you want for your jury. And an
- 9:26Speaker 1: admission that the jurors themselves were tainted by other jurors.
- 9:33Speaker 1: The nurses explained it. Why didn't you accept it? I
- 9:36Speaker 1: wouldn't have accepted it either. Good on him. That's my take. Now,
- 9:40Speaker 1: this guy may end up being the biggest lowlife ever.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I don't know. But from this interview, from the local
- 9:47Speaker 1: affiliate there, they were tainted by other jurors. Mistrial seems
- 9:54Speaker 1: to be more than appropriate here. And I only hope
- 9:57Speaker 1: that the prosecution actually covenants and aggressively maybe with different
- 10:02Speaker 1: prosecutors because we should talk about their failures go at
- 10:07Speaker 1: this case again one man's take
