Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KFI AM
- 0:04Speaker 1: six forty KFI.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I'm Bill Handle, as I tell myself every morning when
- 0:13Speaker 2: I look in the mirror, they like you. Yeah, oh, guys,
- 0:16Speaker 2: very depressing. Some of the big stories we are looking at.
- 0:20Speaker 2: There is a singer in Iran, a female singer who
- 0:25Speaker 2: has just been sentenced to seventy four lashes for performing
- 0:31Speaker 2: without her He job on everybody to come here. We
- 0:43Speaker 2: had to do that. It's a true story, by the way.
- 0:47Speaker 2: That's because it's so crazy out there in the world. Okay,
- 0:50Speaker 2: it is time for tech Tuesday with Rich Dumurrow. Rich
- 0:53Speaker 2: heard every Saturday right here on KFI eleven to two pm,
- 0:57Speaker 2: and you can see him every day on KTLA. Follow
- 1:01Speaker 2: him on Instagram at Rich on Tech. Rich. Good morning,
- 1:06Speaker 2: and it is Prime Day, or the first of several
- 1:10Speaker 2: Prime Days at Amazon. So we do this every year.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Best tips for vetting? Are there really good deals? Tell me?
- 1:21Speaker 1: Yeah? So good morning to you, Bill, And yes, I
- 1:23Speaker 1: feel like we talk about Prime Day once a year.
- 1:26Speaker 1: They usually do like one Prime Day and now it's
- 1:29Speaker 1: like one other, like Big Sale Day or something. And
- 1:31Speaker 1: if you notice this year, Prime Day is a lot earlier.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Typically it's in July. They pushed it, they pushed a
- 1:37Speaker 1: little bit this year, or brought it forward, whatever you
- 1:40Speaker 1: want to call it. It's running today through Friday. So
- 1:44Speaker 1: my advice is the standard every year. Number one, don't
- 1:49Speaker 1: just buy. Don't just go to the website and look
- 1:51Speaker 1: for things to buy, because if you do that, you'll
- 1:53Speaker 1: waste money. So if you have a list of things,
- 1:56Speaker 1: look around your house, think about the upcoming birthdays and
- 1:59Speaker 1: holidays and the stuff that you actually need or after replace.
- 2:02Speaker 1: And that's the kind of stuff that you should be
- 2:04Speaker 1: buying during these four days because pretty much every company
- 2:08Speaker 1: is offering some sort of deal. Not everything's on sale,
- 2:12Speaker 1: but a lot of things are. And so that's my
- 2:14Speaker 1: number one tip is to you know well already, look
- 2:17Speaker 1: in your save for later lists, see if there's any
- 2:19Speaker 1: discounts there. Look for your buy again. You can go
- 2:22Speaker 1: to Amazon dot com slash buy again. That'll show you
- 2:25Speaker 1: all the things you've purchased. And then, of course this year,
- 2:29Speaker 1: look at the price history. Amazon has expanded their price
- 2:32Speaker 1: history to give you one year of information. And so
- 2:36Speaker 1: what I like to do is you tap the little
- 2:38Speaker 1: price history icon or link next to the price and
- 2:42Speaker 1: then this will bring up their AI tool, which is
- 2:44Speaker 1: now called Alexa for shopping, and you can say, give
- 2:47Speaker 1: me the best two prices this product has been over
- 2:50Speaker 1: the past year, and if the current price is lower
- 2:53Speaker 1: than that, then Hey or similar, then it's a good
- 2:56Speaker 1: time to buy now.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I want to compare Amazon to Temu because when you
- 3:04Speaker 2: talk about household items or things that are not insanely expensive,
- 3:08Speaker 2: you go on Temu and you're going to get, of course,
- 3:11Speaker 2: bombarded with ads for every Chinese restaurant within half a mile.
- 3:15Speaker 2: But your thoughts of using that Chinese based Amazon, if
- 3:19Speaker 2: you will.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I don't recommend it typically because I mean, look, people
- 3:24Speaker 1: do it. I think that you know, there was a
- 3:26Speaker 1: Heyday for Timu. I mean in a lot of the
- 3:29Speaker 1: products you see on Amazon, yes they originate from China.
- 3:32Speaker 1: But I just feel like you can you know, Amazon
- 3:35Speaker 1: is a much more kind of recognized brand. And also
- 3:39Speaker 1: you can't discount the return policy and the ease of returns.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I don't think you can drop off a Temu return.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Maybe you can, I don't know, I've never used it,
- 3:48Speaker 1: but you know Amazon, you can drop off your returns
- 3:51Speaker 1: at a Whole Foods or a UPS store and they
- 3:55Speaker 1: will take anything. I returned a pair of sneakers that
- 3:57Speaker 1: I wore for a couple of days they didn't fit right,
- 4:00Speaker 1: and no problem. They you know, took them right back
- 4:02Speaker 1: and gave me my entire money back. So I think
- 4:05Speaker 1: Amazon has just nailed it when it comes to customer service.
- 4:09Speaker 1: When I was researching the products that I recommend for
- 4:11Speaker 1: Prime Day, which by the way, you can find on
- 4:13Speaker 1: my website rich on Tech dot Tv, I've got a
- 4:16Speaker 1: huge Prime Day gift you know, shopping guide. I explain
- 4:19Speaker 1: all the stuff I just talked about. Plus I've linked
- 4:21Speaker 1: up everything that I do recommend. And while I was
- 4:24Speaker 1: researching that, I noticed so many of the products. Now
- 4:27Speaker 1: on Amazon you can pay an extra five dollars and
- 4:30Speaker 1: they'll deliver them to within three hours, which is just wild.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I'm not personally paying anymore for shipping, but you know,
- 4:36Speaker 1: it's nice to have that option.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Tech Tuesday with rich Our Tech Guy, Saturday's eleven A
- 4:41Speaker 2: two pm, right eleven am to two pm here on
- 4:45Speaker 2: KFI KTLA, every day Instagram, at rich on tech website.
- 4:51Speaker 2: It's never written down, so I always it's a rich.
- 4:54Speaker 1: On Tech dot Tv. Actually, Mill, you know, I did
- 4:57Speaker 1: something wild. I went ahead and finally bought rich on
- 5:00Speaker 1: tech dot com after fifteen years. You know, it took
- 5:03Speaker 1: me fifteen years to get that, and I had to
- 5:05Speaker 1: pay a pretty penny. But I have it rich on
- 5:07Speaker 1: tech dot com.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I'm not even gonna ask how much it costs, do
- 5:13Speaker 2: you know? Uh, here is a story and I have.
- 5:18Speaker 2: My nephew is in the car business, and every all
- 5:22Speaker 2: the time for his he sells cars and he looks
- 5:25Speaker 2: through these the vanity plates, what's available and what isn't?
- 5:30Speaker 2: And I found that was available? What be a whole? No, No,
- 5:37Speaker 2: that's not true. It is he found KFI. Oh isn't that.
- 5:44Speaker 1: You shouldn't have anything because now someone's going to scoop
- 5:46Speaker 1: it up.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Oh no, no, we already reserved it. Oh no, no, no,
- 5:48Speaker 2: it's it's already been reserved, otherwise I wouldn't say it.
- 5:51Speaker 2: So I'm going to use it and then when I
- 5:53Speaker 2: leave KFI, I'm going to sell it to them for
- 5:55Speaker 2: fifty thousand dollars. When it said March, it's mark. Yeah, Okay,
- 6:02Speaker 2: moving on, it's a prime day and let's do it.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Some of the the great, good, big items that rich
- 6:11Speaker 2: has put on his website regarding Prime Day, so let's
- 6:15Speaker 2: do it.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Rich Yeah, and I love Prime Day because things actually
- 6:19Speaker 1: do go on sale. But again, like I said, always
- 6:22Speaker 1: do a price check. If you're feeling the pressure to
- 6:23Speaker 1: buy something and you're like not sure, check the price.
- 6:26Speaker 1: If it's something that's like, you know, five dollars off
- 6:29Speaker 1: or not even a real price discount, don't worry about it.
- 6:32Speaker 1: But if it's something that you actually need, like a
- 6:34Speaker 1: pair of headphones, like a new TV, like a new laptop,
- 6:38Speaker 1: any sort of tech accessory like a portable charger. A
- 6:41Speaker 1: lot of these things are on sale right now. I've
- 6:44Speaker 1: got them listed on my website rich on tech dot TV,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and I went through and I put the stuff that
- 6:49Speaker 1: I actually like and recommend, and a lot of it
- 6:51Speaker 1: I have tested and used personally or I've had experts
- 6:54Speaker 1: on my radio show recommend it, so I know that
- 6:56Speaker 1: it's going to be a quality piece of equipment. So
- 7:00Speaker 1: a couple of things that I really like today. Number one,
- 7:02Speaker 1: you've got this. Laptops are very expensive right now, we
- 7:06Speaker 1: know that for sure, but you can get some pretty
- 7:08Speaker 1: good deals on laptops. So one in particular that I
- 7:11Speaker 1: really like is called the Asus Vivo Book and you
- 7:16Speaker 1: can get that right now for under four hundred dollars.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Three hundred and fifty nine dollars for a laptop fifteen inches.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I like that one a sert. They've got one that's
- 7:24Speaker 1: a fifteen inch laptop as well for two hundred ninety
- 7:27Speaker 1: six dollars. I did like this twenty twenty four MacBook
- 7:31Speaker 1: M three. It was eight hundred dollars. Right now it's
- 7:34Speaker 1: out of stock because clearly that has sold out already,
- 7:36Speaker 1: so people are buying those TVs. You can get a
- 7:40Speaker 1: one a fifty inch TV for one hundred and forty
- 7:44Speaker 1: nine dollars. That is incredible. When they mentioned it, a
- 7:47Speaker 1: guest mentioned this on my radio show this weekend. It
- 7:49Speaker 1: was three hundred dollars. Now it's one hundred and fifty dollars,
- 7:53Speaker 1: so there's a real big discount. Samsung, if you want
- 7:55Speaker 1: an Android tablet, you can get the Samsung tablet for
- 7:58Speaker 1: one hundred and seventy dollars. A dash cam that I
- 8:01Speaker 1: like one hundred and four dollars if you want to
- 8:03Speaker 1: keep tabs on things. My favorite portable charger it's the
- 8:07Speaker 1: Anchor mag Goo Power Bank. It has an Apple Watch
- 8:10Speaker 1: charger built in, so one less cable to carry when
- 8:13Speaker 1: you travel. It's typically like eighty bucks. It's on sale
- 8:17Speaker 1: for fifty today. I carry that thing every single place
- 8:19Speaker 1: I go. If you don't need an Apple Watch charger,
- 8:22Speaker 1: you just need a standard charger for your phone. I
- 8:25Speaker 1: love this Belkin portable charger that'll charge your phone a
- 8:28Speaker 1: couple of times. Twenty dollars today on Prime Day, and
- 8:31Speaker 1: the list just goes on and on. Bill I've got
- 8:32Speaker 1: so many picks on my website.
- 8:34Speaker 2: How do prices on just say you, for example, TVs
- 8:39Speaker 2: Prime Day, app Abazon price versus let's say going to Costco,
- 8:43Speaker 2: compare the two.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I would say, Okay, So I'm looking at this TCL
- 8:48Speaker 1: fifty five inch TV. It's highly rated q M seven K.
- 8:54Speaker 1: It is four hundred and ninety eight dollars. That is
- 8:57Speaker 1: the cheapest price in an entire year. The cheapest price
- 9:00Speaker 1: for this TV before that was about six hundred dollars.
- 9:04Speaker 1: So you're talking still one hundred dollars less than the
- 9:07Speaker 1: cheapest price on this TV for the past year. So
- 9:11Speaker 1: I think today particularly, it'd be tough to find a
- 9:14Speaker 1: better deal at Costco. Although you know a lot of
- 9:17Speaker 1: these other retailers like Target, Best buy Walmart. They have
- 9:21Speaker 1: their own competing sales, so no matter what, it's probably
- 9:24Speaker 1: a good time to buy. In general, the tough thing
- 9:26Speaker 1: about Costco is that in this they did this for years.
- 9:29Speaker 1: They typically would change the model number just a little
- 9:32Speaker 1: bit on TVs. So if you're inside Costco and you're
- 9:35Speaker 1: googling that model number to try to figure out the
- 9:37Speaker 1: price where it is everywhere else, it's really tough to
- 9:39Speaker 1: do because they might have added like one extra keyword
- 9:42Speaker 1: or one extra character or something to it.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, Ai powered Siri, talk about that when we
- 9:50Speaker 2: only have a couple of minutes.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no problem. So I've been using the new
- 9:56Speaker 1: version of iOS twenty seven. Do not do what I did,
- 9:59Speaker 1: which is an install it on your primary device. But
- 10:02Speaker 1: you know, I'm a nerd, I'm a tester, I'm a tinkerer,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and so I put the developer beta. That means there
- 10:07Speaker 1: are so many bugs on this thing. Half the time
- 10:10Speaker 1: I do something on my phone, there's an error. So
- 10:12Speaker 1: don't do this, But I do it for you to
- 10:15Speaker 1: test it out. And I'm telling you, the new Ai
- 10:17Speaker 1: SII is absolutely incredible.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Bill.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I actually feel sorry for Chatgybt no joke because so
- 10:26Speaker 1: many people now are going to default to Siri to
- 10:29Speaker 1: do all the little things they used to be doing
- 10:30Speaker 1: on chatgybt, which is like, ask these silly questions now
- 10:34Speaker 1: instead of thinking that Seri's not gonna be able to
- 10:36Speaker 1: answer it. Not only can she answer it, she understands
- 10:39Speaker 1: what's on your screen, what's in your email, what's in
- 10:42Speaker 1: your messages, what's in everything on your phone, your photos?
- 10:46Speaker 1: And it is really good. So when this comes out
- 10:49Speaker 1: later this year in September, people are going to say, Apple,
- 10:53Speaker 1: you did it again. You actually delivered. It took you
- 10:56Speaker 1: longer than everyone else, but you finally did it, and
- 10:58Speaker 1: Siri AI is going to be incredible.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Now is that automatic? I have Siri? I use Siri
- 11:04Speaker 2: when this comes out, do I have to download anything
- 11:07Speaker 2: or just becomes part of what I have?
- 11:10Speaker 1: Depending on your phone, phone most the best experience you're
- 11:15Speaker 1: going to need, like an iPhone fifteen Pro and up.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Okay, and I think I do because I got the
- 11:21Speaker 2: latest version until the new one comes out. Okay, it's
- 11:24Speaker 2: going to a.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Lot of people to buy a new phone.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Apple tends to do that no matter what. Okay, Saturday
- 11:33Speaker 2: from eleven to two pm, Rich is here heard here
- 11:37Speaker 2: live also KTLA. Every day website is a rich On
- 11:42Speaker 2: TV or a rich On tech dot TV is the website? Right?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Correct?
- 11:48Speaker 2: Oh good, I got I have it.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I have it.
- 11:51Speaker 2: It's not written, I don't say it. Matter of fact,
- 11:54Speaker 2: my name isn't there. Yeah, let me tell you, it's
- 11:56Speaker 2: really pathetic. If my name isn't there, I can't remember it.
- 12:01Speaker 2: All right, rich take care, We'll catch on Saturday and
- 12:05Speaker 2: thank you bye. All right, Okay, what's going on? Well,
- 12:09Speaker 2: the big story internationally, of course, is the US in
- 12:12Speaker 2: Iran have begun negotiations and a deal sort of a
- 12:16Speaker 2: deal has been cut, well, a deal has been cut
- 12:19Speaker 2: to cut a deal, and everybody's agreed that they're trying
- 12:24Speaker 2: to secure a broader deal, a real deal, within sixty days.
- 12:30Speaker 2: And there's some problems there because one of the big
- 12:34Speaker 2: issues is that Iran said we're not signing anything until
- 12:38Speaker 2: Israel stops fighting in Lebanon has Belah. And so the
- 12:43Speaker 2: ICE the United States agreed the problems that couldn't get
- 12:46Speaker 2: Israel to agreed, and so the two sides are going
- 12:48Speaker 2: to need to address a bunch of other issues. Sanctions
- 12:51Speaker 2: relief for Iran, the three hundred billion dollar Reconstruction Fund,
- 12:59Speaker 2: and effectively, what the United States wants is opening the
- 13:02Speaker 2: Strait of horn Mooze, which it looks like it has
- 13:04Speaker 2: been opened at least for sixty days. It looks like
- 13:07Speaker 2: it's a free transit of international shipping at this point,
- 13:11Speaker 2: which is great news. And then the rest of it, Now,
- 13:16Speaker 2: what still has to be argued between the two. How
- 13:21Speaker 2: about Iran's ballistic missile program not really on the table?
- 13:26Speaker 2: How about state sponsored support of Jesbollah and the UTIs
- 13:32Speaker 2: not really on the table. And so also what is
- 13:37Speaker 2: on the table is this frameworks signed last week that
- 13:41Speaker 2: opened the door to unfreezing billions of dollars in Iranian
- 13:44Speaker 2: assets and lifting those sanctions on the country, suggesting that
- 13:50Speaker 2: would be addressed immediately in negotiations. Well, this is a
- 13:55Speaker 2: question of timelines. Now the strait is open, but that's
- 13:58Speaker 2: the same thing that was opened before the war. As
- 14:02Speaker 2: a matter of fact, right now, it's exactly what happened
- 14:04Speaker 2: before the war, and it's been promised that it will
- 14:07Speaker 2: go for at least sixty days. Now comes the rest
- 14:10Speaker 2: of it. The attack on Iran. The reasons went from
- 14:16Speaker 2: regime change, which has not happened. Although the administration says
- 14:20Speaker 2: there is regime change because the leadership in Iran has
- 14:23Speaker 2: been wiped out and the secondary leadership has been killed.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Therefore that's regime change. Who are we kidding? Also, we're
- 14:30Speaker 2: talking about the ballistic missile program. That was a big deal.
- 14:34Speaker 2: The state sponsor of terrorism around the world, that was
- 14:37Speaker 2: a huge deal, and that was part of the attack.
- 14:40Speaker 2: You also have the manufacturer and the firing of drones,
- 14:44Speaker 2: which are the most effective way these days to attack
- 14:47Speaker 2: an enemy. That is off the table. So the only
- 14:51Speaker 2: thing that's on the table now is the nuclear program.
- 14:56Speaker 2: And so far Iran what we've heard, according to Van
- 15:00Speaker 2: Vice President Vance is Iran has agreed that they will
- 15:03Speaker 2: not build a nuclear program, a nuclear weapons program. Well,
- 15:10Speaker 2: how about international enforcement overseeing that program? Which did happen
- 15:16Speaker 2: when Obama cut his deal. One of the ways, one
- 15:20Speaker 2: of the platforms that god Trump elected is how bad
- 15:24Speaker 2: the Obama deal was, and he got out of it
- 15:28Speaker 2: immediately upon becoming president. He said we're done, and so
- 15:32Speaker 2: he renegged on the deal. He withdrew from the deal.
- 15:35Speaker 2: And now it looks like has what is being negotiated
- 15:40Speaker 2: is worse than that. After eighty billion dollars is what
- 15:44Speaker 2: the Pentagon toal senators to cover the cost of the
- 15:47Speaker 2: war so far, eighty billion dollars. That's bad news. Now
- 15:54Speaker 2: if it turns out that Iran does agree to stopping
- 15:59Speaker 2: its nuclear weapons program, enriching the uranium, which it has
- 16:04Speaker 2: not yet said it's going to still wants to keep
- 16:08Speaker 2: that going as far as we know, giving up the
- 16:14Speaker 2: enriched uranium, which there's what nine hundred thousand pounds of
- 16:17Speaker 2: virtually weapons grade uranium that they have created. That has
- 16:23Speaker 2: they've been talk about that, but again that's all negotiations.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Further on in the negotiations are the frozen assets that
- 16:31Speaker 2: are going to be released. That's a big priority. The
- 16:35Speaker 2: sanctions that are going to be lifted. As a matter
- 16:37Speaker 2: of fact, right now this moment, sanctions have been lifted
- 16:42Speaker 2: to the point where they're on. For years, has not
- 16:44Speaker 2: been able to sell its oil on the open market.
- 16:47Speaker 2: It has to be doing it under the table for cash,
- 16:51Speaker 2: effectively discount. The United States has lifted that sanction temporarily,
- 16:57Speaker 2: we don't know for how long. For the sixty days
- 17:01Speaker 2: where iron is now selling and couldn't for years putting
- 17:05Speaker 2: its oil on the open market, and the United States
- 17:07Speaker 2: is letting Iran do that because the United States basically
- 17:10Speaker 2: controls the shipping of oil not only directly, but it's
- 17:15Speaker 2: such a juggernaut, it so controls the world economy still
- 17:19Speaker 2: that it can tell countries you're not buying Iranian oil,
- 17:23Speaker 2: and they really have no choice because of the power
- 17:25Speaker 2: that they in this case, what the president has. So
- 17:28Speaker 2: we'll see what happens. The devil is going to be
- 17:31Speaker 2: in the details. Right now, at this moment, it looks
- 17:33Speaker 2: like Iran is way ahead of the game. They've done
- 17:35Speaker 2: better than the United States with these negotiations, no matter
- 17:38Speaker 2: what the administration is saying. And there are a bunch
- 17:41Speaker 2: of Republicans, by the way, I mean a bunch of
- 17:44Speaker 2: Republicans who are really unhappy with this deal. Now Japan,
- 17:51Speaker 2: when the Japanese people aren't bombing Pearl Harbor or eating sushi,
- 17:57Speaker 2: what they want to do is sleep because they don't.
- 18:02Speaker 2: The Japanese get the least amount of sleep of all
- 18:06Speaker 2: major countries, and so there is a market to help
- 18:10Speaker 2: people fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer, because they
- 18:13Speaker 2: understand how important that is. On the average, a Japanese
- 18:18Speaker 2: person sleeps almost an hour and a half less than Americans. Why, Well,
- 18:23Speaker 2: long commute times, Boy do they commute, long work hours,
- 18:27Speaker 2: and a culture that doesn't really emphasize sleep or the
- 18:31Speaker 2: importance of sleep. So it's become a billion dollar industry,
- 18:35Speaker 2: and that's catering to people who want to improve their
- 18:39Speaker 2: quality of sleep, even if they don't get those hours
- 18:43Speaker 2: as Americans do. So they have sleep tech products that
- 18:47Speaker 2: are going way beyond usual aids like imasks or those
- 18:51Speaker 2: comfortable pillows. Think smart beds and gadgets, Oh boy, gadgets
- 18:57Speaker 2: like crazy. There is and I'm looking looking at it
- 19:00Speaker 2: right now, the zzz and Sleep Apparel system. It's a prototype,
- 19:06Speaker 2: but it's coming out designed to help users powernap for
- 19:10Speaker 2: twenty minutes. It's like one of those full body hoodies
- 19:16Speaker 2: that you wrap around yourself and it helps you sleep.
- 19:22Speaker 2: They're speakers in there that play music to help you sleep.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I don't know. Now, there are several brands in Japan
- 19:32Speaker 2: selling pajamas made of special fiber claim to boost a
- 19:37Speaker 2: muscle recovery and blood circulation. How do you say fraud
- 19:41Speaker 2: in Japanese? Because all of these products are complete crap.
- 19:47Speaker 2: But I'll tell you what is not crap. According to
- 19:50Speaker 2: the experts, is that twenty minute power nap. And that's
- 19:53Speaker 2: what really this is all about, is products to help
- 19:57Speaker 2: you twenty minute powernap. I've never understood a twenty minute
- 20:02Speaker 2: power nap. Never. If I am napping during the days,
- 20:06Speaker 2: I am gone for three hours and I'm groggy until
- 20:09Speaker 2: I go to sleep. I have all Oh, I feel
- 20:12Speaker 2: refreshed after twenty minutes. How do you do that? Amy?
- 20:16Speaker 2: Do you do the twenty minute nap? I do? Oh? Wow?
- 20:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:20Speaker 2: When I get home from work, I usually I just
- 20:22Speaker 2: lay down and I sleep. Usually I think I should
- 20:25Speaker 2: sleep more, but I wake up and I go okay,
- 20:28Speaker 2: I feel better. I usually find that with drugs, mainly amphetamine,
- 20:34Speaker 2: there's nothing like math talking about math Kono who lives
- 20:37Speaker 2: in Methland. Do you do a nap? No? I don't
- 20:41Speaker 2: live in beautiful lo Molinda, and I do, but I
- 20:43Speaker 2: double it. It's a forty minute alarm set. Yeah, I
- 20:47Speaker 2: don't get it. I've never understood a twenty minute nap,
- 20:50Speaker 2: but people do. So there's oh the nap box, and
- 20:56Speaker 2: it's used all over Tokyo and it's all about getting
- 21:01Speaker 2: and I love this non rem stage to sleep. And
- 21:05Speaker 2: it's a box you stand up in it's like a
- 21:07Speaker 2: phone booth, and uh, it puts you to sleep and
- 21:10Speaker 2: you nap and I don't know, you know, I don't
- 21:12Speaker 2: know how do you nap standing up? That does not
- 21:14Speaker 2: sound good to me, but it's what they're saying it works.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I think none of this works. I think it's all complete,
- 21:21Speaker 2: utter fraud. I think what you're gonna do is the
- 21:24Speaker 2: guy who does my pillows is going to be buying
- 21:26Speaker 2: into this thing and it'll be my napbox. Except I
- 21:31Speaker 2: think you really do froggy. Well, there you are Japanese.
- 21:36Speaker 2: That's what fraud. Oh yeah, oh thank you. Yeah. It's
- 21:41Speaker 2: the Naggy Sake company frog Nagi Sagi nagy Sagi or
- 21:49Speaker 2: the Sagi nagy Oh. How about this, it's the Sagi
- 21:53Speaker 2: nap box that uh, it's it's it pretends it puts
- 21:57Speaker 2: rain on you because it's soggy. That didn't work. Sometimes
- 22:01Speaker 2: it does, sometimes it doesn't. We're done, guys, Gary and
- 22:04Speaker 2: Shannon up next tomorrow morning. It's going to be Amy
- 22:08Speaker 2: don't know if Neil's coming in tomorrow. Is still a
- 22:10Speaker 2: little bit under the weather. Will is on vacation all
- 22:14Speaker 2: this week. ConA, of course, is here. Amy is here.
- 22:17Speaker 2: And is here. I am here. As we go through
- 22:21Speaker 2: life together. It's wake up Call with Amy in the morning.
- 22:24Speaker 2: No will, Amy's by herself in the morning doing interviews
- 22:29Speaker 2: and doing what she does with wake Up Call. And
- 22:31Speaker 2: then Neil and I except for Neil probably coming board
- 22:34Speaker 2: from six to nine. That's it, guys, we are done.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Enjoy yourself, Gary and Shannon up next and we'll meet again.
