- 0:18Speaker 1: to your health or treatment plan. Before her diagnosis, she
- 0:23Speaker 1: lived like most Americans, eating and drinking whatever she wanted
- 0:26Speaker 1: without much thought about it. Then cancer entered her world
- 0:30Speaker 1: without warning, and she was suddenly in a fight she
- 0:33Speaker 1: wasn't prepared for. Desperate for answers, she began studying everything
- 0:37Speaker 1: she could find about cancer and the treatment options available
- 0:40Speaker 1: to her, both allopathic and alternative, and in the end,
- 0:44Speaker 1: she chose an unconventional natural path and against all the odds,
- 0:49Speaker 1: she made it through. Today she's here to tell her
- 0:51Speaker 1: incredible story. Hello everybody, Welcome back to Life TV now,
- 1:01Speaker 1: where we unpack all matters of truth, faith and freedom.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Today we have a program planned for you that I
- 1:07Speaker 1: promise for some of you watching this program, this is
- 1:10Speaker 1: going to be a divine appointment. I think God is
- 1:13Speaker 1: going to use the information that is revealed today to
- 1:15Speaker 1: change the trajectory of some of your lives. Before we
- 1:19Speaker 1: dive in, let me introduce who's here. We are joined
- 1:22Speaker 1: by my beautiful wife and best friend, Catherine Horne, and
- 1:30Speaker 1: she's the author of the book Stealth Journey and Uncommon
- 1:33Speaker 1: Fight against Cancer, Fear, Tradition and Pharmaceuticals. As a twenty
- 1:37Speaker 1: six year two time cancer survivor and motivational speaker, she
- 1:42Speaker 1: shares her personal experience in overcoming her diagnosis through God's guidance.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Please welcome the one and only Naomi Havens. Naomi, I'm
- 1:54Speaker 1: just going to say at the onset, this interview is
- 1:56Speaker 1: way overdue.
- 1:58Speaker 2: You and I had a chance. I was struggling with
- 2:00Speaker 2: my memory before the program. When did we actually meet?
- 2:02Speaker 2: And I placed it twenty eighteen. I was corrected it
- 2:05Speaker 2: was at twenty nineteen. I want to say it was
- 2:08Speaker 2: the Defender Conference at the Radison Radison Hotel in Branson, Missouri.
- 2:13Speaker 2: And I will never forget this detail. You and your
- 2:16Speaker 2: husband Tim, who's also here today walking around, Will you
- 2:22Speaker 2: do me a favor hold up your arm. You got
- 2:24Speaker 2: to see this. I don't know if this is exactly
- 2:26Speaker 2: lime green, what they call this sublime green. I had
- 2:30Speaker 2: a car once almost the same color. But he is
- 2:34Speaker 2: walking around, You guys are walking around head to toe
- 2:36Speaker 2: fully green, and he's got a suit must have been
- 2:40Speaker 2: a special order a suit in that color. I like,
- 2:42Speaker 2: who are these people with the green like this? I've
- 2:46Speaker 2: never seen this before. But there was a reason for
- 2:49Speaker 2: the green, and so I asked, I said, hey, guys,
- 2:51Speaker 2: what's the deal with the green? And you started to describe.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I'm not going to steal your thunder because I want
- 2:56Speaker 2: you to explain what the symbolism behind the green is.
- 2:59Speaker 2: But one of the things I ascertained right away when
- 3:01Speaker 2: we started talking, it was probably less than three minutes,
- 3:04Speaker 2: you revealed that you had been handed by medical doctors
- 3:08Speaker 2: a five year what you called a death sentence. Yes,
- 3:13Speaker 2: And I said, well when was this? And you started
- 3:15Speaker 2: talking about many years ago. And at the time, I'm like, well,
- 3:18Speaker 2: you've already outlived that. You know what happened, what did
- 3:21Speaker 2: you find? What was your journey about? So I want
- 3:23Speaker 2: to start with that first. Let's just clarify what the
- 3:27Speaker 2: green symbolism is, and then let's dive into the five
- 3:29Speaker 2: year death sentence, because you're obviously still here twenty six
- 3:32Speaker 2: years later, by the grace of God, let's do it.
- 3:35Speaker 2: What is the green about?
- 3:37Speaker 3: The green is part of our organization, Victory Haven Natural
- 3:43Speaker 3: Health Group. It's part of our colors because green means growth,
- 3:51Speaker 3: and spring and summer are my absolute favorite seasons of
- 3:56Speaker 3: the year because everything comes back to life and green
- 4:00Speaker 3: represents life. The other color is purple, and purple is
- 4:05Speaker 3: because purple stands for royalty. Yes, as a daughter of
- 4:10Speaker 3: the Most High, I am royalty. And he's the one
- 4:16Speaker 3: that founded Victory Haven Natural Health Group and asked me
- 4:20Speaker 3: to be the co founder. His mouth, hands and feet,
- 4:24Speaker 3: so I do what he asks. And these are the
- 4:27Speaker 3: two colors that he has asked me to use.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I also remember during that encounter that you handed me
- 4:40Speaker 2: a book called stealths Journey, And we're going to tell
- 4:43Speaker 2: people in just a minute how they can get their
- 4:45Speaker 2: own copy of this. This details your journey. But you've
- 4:47Speaker 2: got a brand new book, and I want to make
- 4:49Speaker 2: sure that people also know how they can get their
- 4:51Speaker 2: copy of this new one. Let's bring them up on
- 4:53Speaker 2: the screen. Let me read you the subtitles of these.
- 4:55Speaker 2: The new book is called Cancer Facing My Deepest fear,
- 4:59Speaker 2: going out on the water, and the great unknown, and
- 5:02Speaker 2: of course the subtitle to your book Stealth Journey, An
- 5:05Speaker 2: Uncommon Fight against Cancer, fear, tradition, and pharmaceuticals. This one's
- 5:10Speaker 2: a lot thicker. The new one's a lot bigger. Yes,
- 5:13Speaker 2: you can almost get a workout lifting these of them.
- 5:16Speaker 2: That's a big book. When did you first get diagnosed?
- 5:22Speaker 2: You know, so many people are as we speak daily,
- 5:27Speaker 2: you know, the numbers are just cranking up higher and
- 5:29Speaker 2: higher and higher. Statistics are being cranked up higher and
- 5:32Speaker 2: higher and higher, and they're being confronted by that big
- 5:35Speaker 2: worry that so many people live in abject panic over
- 5:39Speaker 2: every time they develop pickups. And they're waiting, you know,
- 5:42Speaker 2: for test results, and they're waiting for the oncology department
- 5:46Speaker 2: to reveal the results of the biopsy or what have you,
- 5:49Speaker 2: and they're being told you know, and I've heard people
- 5:52Speaker 2: that have gone through this say, you're never ready, no
- 5:54Speaker 2: matter how much you think you're ready, You're never ready
- 5:56Speaker 2: for that sledgehammer to the chest of we're sorry to
- 5:59Speaker 2: inform you, but you've been through that. Yes twice. Let's
- 6:03Speaker 2: talk about the first time. Okay, I tell you what
- 6:06Speaker 2: was going on.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Well, honestly, I found the first tumor myself, and my
- 6:14Speaker 3: gut feeling was that it was cancer, and cancer was
- 6:18Speaker 3: my deepest fear because everyone I knew who had been
- 6:23Speaker 3: diagnosed died, so it was a death sentence to me.
- 6:28Speaker 3: And I was only in my forties and I still
- 6:31Speaker 3: had a sixteen year old daughter at home at the
- 6:35Speaker 3: time that I was homeschooling, and I wanted to see
- 6:39Speaker 3: her get married and have kids, and.
- 6:42Speaker 4: So I was not ready for death.
- 6:45Speaker 3: But we had moved away from the place that we
- 6:49Speaker 3: had been at for a while, and Tim, my husband,
- 6:53Speaker 3: had gotten a job in a different location, and that's
- 6:57Speaker 3: when I found the first tumor, and I just am
- 7:00Speaker 3: not real crazy about searching for doctors, and we ended
- 7:04Speaker 3: up going right back to what's called Savannah, Georgia, which
- 7:09Speaker 3: is where we had been before, and we ended up
- 7:12Speaker 3: going back nine months after we arrived in Washington, DC,
- 7:19Speaker 3: and so I thought, you know, I'm just gonna watch
- 7:24Speaker 3: this myself. So I did, and I started noticing that
- 7:30Speaker 3: sugar and for me, chocolate made it grow and made
- 7:36Speaker 3: it hurt. So when I cut back on those then
- 7:42Speaker 3: it was manageable. I didn't go searching for a doctor,
- 7:45Speaker 3: and there was one back in Savannah that had a
- 7:48Speaker 3: really good reputation that I thought, well, when we get
- 7:51Speaker 3: back there, I'll just make an appointment for her. And
- 7:56Speaker 3: she is one that is pretty booked up. But by
- 8:01Speaker 3: the time we moved back, she had an opening, and
- 8:06Speaker 3: so I went to her and that started the roller
- 8:11Speaker 3: coaster ride of doctor visits and all these other things.
- 8:17Speaker 2: We're gonna test it.
- 8:17Speaker 4: They wanted to know what we're dealing with, right right, right.
- 8:22Speaker 2: So you started. I'm sure we're getting some test results back,
- 8:25Speaker 2: and now they're telling you what.
- 8:27Speaker 3: That It was stage two cancer, stage two breast cancer,
- 8:31Speaker 3: and I needed to get it cut out immediately.
- 8:34Speaker 4: And I hadn't done my research.
- 8:36Speaker 3: But I had met people throughout my life who had
- 8:40Speaker 3: gone to the allopathic medicine for lots of various reasons
- 8:47Speaker 3: and had not found answers and turned to the natural,
- 8:54Speaker 3: and I felt like there had to be something more
- 8:59Speaker 3: than what was offered the surgery, the chemo, and the radiation.
- 9:04Speaker 3: But I just hadn't done my research. And you know,
- 9:07Speaker 3: you talk about mindset, my mindset at that time and
- 9:11Speaker 3: where it came from I'm still trying to figure out,
- 9:14Speaker 3: except that I was raised military, so that could be
- 9:18Speaker 3: my mindset was that if I did not do what
- 9:23Speaker 3: the doctors said, I could be arrested and put in jail.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Now you might laugh at that, but that's where.
- 9:29Speaker 4: My mindset was at the time.
- 9:32Speaker 3: So I went ahead with what they said with the surgery, which,
- 9:37Speaker 3: like you say, Joe causes other issues.
- 9:41Speaker 2: So you you believed that if you declined the allopathic
- 9:45Speaker 2: standard of care with this, which is I'm assuming they
- 9:48Speaker 2: said surgery, were they also offering, you know, things like
- 9:50Speaker 2: chemotherapy and radiation, yes, and so whatever the drivers you
- 9:56Speaker 2: were afraid? Would you say you were afraid to decline that?
- 9:58Speaker 3: And so you went along with My belief was they
- 10:01Speaker 3: were all knowing and that I had to do what
- 10:05Speaker 3: they said or they'd call and I'd be arrested.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Were you also afraid that if you didn't do the
- 10:10Speaker 2: treatments that your likelihood of maybe passing away went way up?
- 10:14Speaker 2: Was there a part of that or were you literally
- 10:15Speaker 2: only afraid that they would somehow lock you up.
- 10:18Speaker 4: I was only afraid of being locked up.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:21Speaker 4: The only thing is.
- 10:23Speaker 3: As a seventeen year old, Daniel became my favorite Bible character,
- 10:29Speaker 3: and Daniel one eight became my life verse.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Now what seventeen year old chooses Daniel or Daniel one eight.
- 10:40Speaker 3: You know. But and if you're not familiar with Daniel
- 10:43Speaker 3: one eight, it says Daniel purposed in his heart that
- 10:46Speaker 3: he would not defile himself with King's offerings. Now it's
- 10:51Speaker 3: been a journey to learn what the King's offerings actually means.
- 10:57Speaker 3: And that was going through my head the whole time.
- 11:00Speaker 3: I'm not going to defile myself. I'm not going to
- 11:02Speaker 3: defile myself. And I have an aunt that is I
- 11:05Speaker 3: dearly love, and she was diagnosed twice and did the
- 11:10Speaker 3: chemon radiation both times. Believes that it absolutely saved her
- 11:16Speaker 3: and she's still alive today, but she had a major
- 11:21Speaker 3: stroke and has been in a wheelchair for like twenty
- 11:26Speaker 3: years now. And I'm like, no, I'm too young. I
- 11:29Speaker 3: don't want to be in depth like her. So that
- 11:34Speaker 3: was part of my thought process as well.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Okay, so I remember when I met you in Branson
- 11:39Speaker 2: all those years ago, you telling me that you consented
- 11:41Speaker 2: to the care they did the surgery. I couldn't remember
- 11:45Speaker 2: if you had done the chemotherapy. But how long was
- 11:48Speaker 2: it after that that? Then they said, well it's come back?
- 11:52Speaker 2: Was it a couple of years. It was five, So
- 11:55Speaker 2: five years after the surgery, right, it had come back.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Now it's the same breast, yes, okay, And at this point,
- 12:02Speaker 2: what are your thoughts, like, are you going to do
- 12:04Speaker 2: the surgery again? What did you determine the second time?
- 12:07Speaker 3: Well, the first time, I actually did start researching natural
- 12:12Speaker 3: things and changing diet.
- 12:14Speaker 4: You know, I was the.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Person that I see food, I eat it no matter
- 12:19Speaker 3: what it is. And I grew up in a multi
- 12:23Speaker 3: national family. My heritage is German. I can no longer
- 12:27Speaker 3: eat my favorite Christmas.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Cookie that I grew up with.
- 12:32Speaker 3: My aunt is married, was married to an Italian straight
- 12:36Speaker 3: from Italy. We love Italian food. I have Polish relatives.
- 12:42Speaker 3: We absolutely love them. I lived in Japan for three years.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Absolutely love orioral food. But I had to be real
- 12:50Speaker 3: careful and do a change. In all the changes that
- 12:53Speaker 3: I were seeing, I'm like, what's this? Where did this
- 12:58Speaker 3: come from? I don't even know where to get some
- 13:00Speaker 3: of these ingredients. So it was a real struggle, and
- 13:04Speaker 3: I did not have community support. And I was in
- 13:07Speaker 3: business for myself, which means a lot of food is
- 13:11Speaker 3: served and I couldn't eat.
- 13:15Speaker 4: One time I.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Paid fifteen dollars for a plate of lettuce like this
- 13:19Speaker 3: that had one tangerine from a can sitting on top.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Oh wow, And that was the plant based option. And
- 13:30Speaker 3: so I quit doing that. And then I started comparing myself.
- 13:33Speaker 3: And you know, Yahweh, that's what I call God. Yahweh.
- 13:37Speaker 3: The most High God tells us not to compare ourselves
- 13:41Speaker 3: because we get in trouble. But I started comparing myself
- 13:46Speaker 3: and started going back to my old ways. I found
- 13:49Speaker 3: the second tumor again myself and was doing a real
- 13:53Speaker 3: good job of monitoring it. But that was tim And
- 13:58Speaker 3: I have a saying the longest road a person can
- 14:02Speaker 3: take is from their head to their heart.
- 14:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 3: The first churchure is all up here. That was dows
- 14:09Speaker 3: and don'ts. The second journey, it came down to my
- 14:14Speaker 3: heart and has solidified. And is how yahways showed me
- 14:19Speaker 3: his purpose for me.
- 14:21Speaker 4: I grew up believing that I was.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Supposed to be a nurse, but when I went off
- 14:26Speaker 3: to college, he made it clear that that was not
- 14:29Speaker 3: the allopathic was not the arena he wanted me. And
- 14:33Speaker 3: this cancer journey has shown me that the natural arena
- 14:39Speaker 3: is his arena. And yes, my dad, we nearly lost
- 14:45Speaker 3: him to a bleeding ulcer and then a major stroke.
- 14:49Speaker 3: I am so grateful for the allopathics being there for him. Sure,
- 14:53Speaker 3: my three grandkids were born with big heads, so they
- 14:59Speaker 3: were all three born by cesarean. I would not have
- 15:03Speaker 3: my grandchildren if it were not for the allopathics.
- 15:06Speaker 4: So I am very grateful.
- 15:08Speaker 3: But we don't need to go to them for every
- 15:10Speaker 3: single Sniffle's right, that's right.
- 15:13Speaker 4: And so I found.
- 15:14Speaker 3: The second one myself, and that was when I got
- 15:18Speaker 3: serious about being natural.
- 15:20Speaker 2: So, just so that I understand you, somewhere between the
- 15:24Speaker 2: first discovery of the first tumor and then the second
- 15:26Speaker 2: one when it came back, you had kind of started
- 15:29Speaker 2: doing research into natural health and sort of kind of
- 15:32Speaker 2: applying it, but weren't like completely gridlocked serious about it
- 15:35Speaker 2: until the discovery of the second one.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Correct.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So now you've discovered the second one and you have
- 15:40Speaker 2: this moment, Am I describing this right? Where you're like,
- 15:43Speaker 2: I have to get unwavering now in my eating, my nutrition.
- 15:48Speaker 2: How did you overcome the second one, because you're obviously
- 15:51Speaker 2: still sitting here. How did that go? What did you
- 15:54Speaker 2: do about the second one?
- 15:56Speaker 3: Well, it's a complete lifestyle. It is not just diet,
- 16:00Speaker 3: and it is your mindset. And you know, when I
- 16:04Speaker 3: refused chemo and radiation the first time, we were clueless
- 16:08Speaker 3: what we were going to do. But I honestly believed,
- 16:11Speaker 3: especially with my size, that I would have been six
- 16:15Speaker 3: foot under if I had done that. And so yahweh
- 16:20Speaker 3: has always been there for me, and he just kept
- 16:24Speaker 3: bringing resources to us. Larry Burkette, if anybody remembers Larry
- 16:29Speaker 3: Briquette with Crown Financial Ministries, he was one of my mentors.
- 16:35Speaker 3: There were several others that Christians and non Christians that
- 16:40Speaker 3: were my mentors and helped me to start learning just
- 16:44Speaker 3: a lot of We did start really doing a lot
- 16:48Speaker 3: of research, and I had several other things happened too
- 16:53Speaker 3: before getting the second surgery, which I feel like I
- 16:58Speaker 3: was backed into as well.
- 17:00Speaker 2: So you you know, one of the things that I
- 17:02Speaker 2: asked Naomi, you know, in between programs today was did
- 17:06Speaker 2: you feel coerced? And she's described where both surgeries, and
- 17:10Speaker 2: especially the second one, she felt coerced and pressured by
- 17:12Speaker 2: the medical You know there, you'll die if you don't
- 17:14Speaker 2: do this thing. So you said yes to both surgeries,
- 17:17Speaker 2: but no both times to chemo radiation exactly got it? Okay, yes,
- 17:22Speaker 2: but since then, because you know, I'm assuming they did
- 17:25Speaker 2: all of the Hey, if you don't do these things,
- 17:26Speaker 2: it's going to come back, right, Hey, if you don't
- 17:29Speaker 2: do the chemotherapy, it's going to these things come back.
- 17:32Speaker 2: But now you're decades later and you have completely I've
- 17:36Speaker 2: known this woman for basically a decade. Now you and
- 17:40Speaker 2: your husband both Tim you guys live the lifestyle. You eat,
- 17:43Speaker 2: the nutrition, you do, the supplements, you eat clean. For
- 17:46Speaker 2: somebody watching this program, they're like, what does that look like?
- 17:49Speaker 2: How does Naomi Havens eat today? What is your typical
- 17:53Speaker 2: Do you have a typical daily kind of diet routine?
- 17:57Speaker 4: Not really well something right?
- 18:02Speaker 3: No, No, we have cut out processed foods.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Now.
- 18:06Speaker 3: I will tell you that over the last eight years,
- 18:09Speaker 3: I went through an extreme emotional trauma brought on by
- 18:14Speaker 3: bullying by people who call themselves Christians, and that I
- 18:19Speaker 3: went to church with and then we uprooted after twenty
- 18:23Speaker 3: three years and moved to a new location, and I
- 18:27Speaker 3: have not been able to really connect in the community,
- 18:31Speaker 3: and so that sent me down a downward spiral that
- 18:35Speaker 3: had me eating. If you're familiar with Amy's frozen foods.
- 18:42Speaker 3: They're organic, They're yummy, and I absolutely love the chili
- 18:49Speaker 3: mac and I was eating the chili mac quite a bit,
- 18:53Speaker 3: but that was for my emotions. It was not healing
- 18:59Speaker 3: from my body personally. And my body personally, I have
- 19:03Speaker 3: had to go plant based.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Now.
- 19:06Speaker 3: I have started incorporating eggs and I do eat salmon,
- 19:11Speaker 3: and periodically we will do liver and onion, and people eugh, well,
- 19:17Speaker 3: I look at the nutritional value of it, and I
- 19:21Speaker 3: honestly I love liver and onions and I grew up
- 19:24Speaker 3: on it too, so that helps. Oh yeah, lots of
- 19:27Speaker 3: spidamins and the onions have so much value to them
- 19:31Speaker 3: and such.
- 19:32Speaker 4: But I do a regular smoothie.
- 19:35Speaker 2: When you say smoothie, now, a lot of people might
- 19:37Speaker 2: assume you mean, you know, the little umbrella with the
- 19:39Speaker 2: tropical fruit flake and there's little bits of chocolate and caramel.
- 19:43Speaker 2: You're talking about it like a smoothie. Eye would do.
- 19:45Speaker 2: It's greens and.
- 19:47Speaker 4: It's yes, yes.
- 19:49Speaker 3: And we honestly, after uprooting after twenty three years, we
- 19:54Speaker 3: were in between houses for nine weeks and so I
- 19:58Speaker 3: started We had our own camper, and so I started
- 20:01Speaker 3: a subscription to a company that provides smoothies in a cup,
- 20:07Speaker 3: a paper cup about this size, and it's all the ingredients,
- 20:12Speaker 3: the fruits and the vegetables, and there's coconut and some
- 20:17Speaker 3: other things in it. And it comes all chopped up
- 20:21Speaker 3: and frozen. So you just take it out of the freezer,
- 20:25Speaker 3: put it in your blender. And I use water because
- 20:29Speaker 3: nut milks and I don't get along even though I
- 20:33Speaker 3: love them, and then nutmel nut milks can have other
- 20:36Speaker 3: ingredients that can that can cause the cancer to grow.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Again.
- 20:40Speaker 3: I use mostly water and then I just blended up
- 20:45Speaker 3: and that's.
- 20:46Speaker 4: What we drink for We drink it throughout the day.
- 20:50Speaker 4: We use a lot of them and drink them throughout
- 20:52Speaker 4: the day.
- 20:52Speaker 3: But then like just a lot of fruit, a lot
- 20:56Speaker 3: of variety in the fruit and vegetable arena.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Yeah, God's food, a lot of variety in the arena
- 21:02Speaker 2: of God's whole food, clean food, not processed. And your
- 21:06Speaker 2: body needs a variety of things so that it can
- 21:08Speaker 2: get nourishment at the cellular level. Before we go too
- 21:11Speaker 2: much further though, because we're running out of time already now,
- 21:14Speaker 2: we go really quick. They tell people where they can
- 21:17Speaker 2: get both of these books if they want to learn
- 21:19Speaker 2: more about your ministry, the work that you and Tim
- 21:21Speaker 2: are doing to coach people now who are right at
- 21:24Speaker 2: the beginning or maybe the middle of that diagnosis or
- 21:26Speaker 2: that journey, and maybe they've not started treatment yet, or
- 21:30Speaker 2: maybe they're in the middle of treatment and they don't
- 21:32Speaker 2: like how it's going. You know, where can they learn
- 21:35Speaker 2: more about what you guys do? And then a follow
- 21:37Speaker 2: up question, with only about six minutes on the clock,
- 21:39Speaker 2: is what would you want someone newly diagnosed and overwhelmed?
- 21:44Speaker 2: What is the first thing that you would want them
- 21:46Speaker 2: to hear from Naomi Haven? So first, where can they
- 21:50Speaker 2: learn the books?
- 21:51Speaker 4: Okay?
- 21:52Speaker 3: I will tell you that Stealth Journey is no longer
- 21:54Speaker 3: available by itself, okay, because it is inside the cover
- 22:00Speaker 3: of Cancerfacing My Deepest Fear, which it was my deepest fear.
- 22:07Speaker 3: They can find that on our website, Victory Haven havn
- 22:13Speaker 3: dot org.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Okay, So I get this new book. They're actually getting
- 22:17Speaker 2: Stealth Journey as.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Well, right, And they're also they're also getting a cool
- 22:23Speaker 3: recipe section.
- 22:24Speaker 2: This this this, My staff has been bugging Naomi for
- 22:27Speaker 2: a year. Where is your recipe section? How do we
- 22:31Speaker 2: take what you guys have learned I know your husband's
- 22:33Speaker 2: a huge fan of probiotics being delivered via yogurt, but
- 22:37Speaker 2: not your grocery store, box store yogurt. This is a
- 22:39Speaker 2: different kind of yogurt. Yes, so anyway, but to learn
- 22:42Speaker 2: more again the.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Website Victoryhaven dot org.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Okay, and it sounds like you need this book right
- 22:48Speaker 2: here in order to get this book. Yes, I encourage
- 22:52Speaker 2: you to do it right away. Patronize these wonderful men
- 22:54Speaker 2: and women of God. They are doing incredible work and
- 22:57Speaker 2: the people that you're ministering to are the soul to
- 22:59Speaker 2: the earth, and they need your help so much. With
- 23:01Speaker 2: just a few minutes left, as we're winding this program down,
- 23:04Speaker 2: what is the first thing that you would want someone
- 23:07Speaker 2: to hear that's being told if you go against the
- 23:11Speaker 2: conventional treatment plan that the doctor is insisting that I
- 23:14Speaker 2: do you know you're a goner? Like they're saying things
- 23:17Speaker 2: like this is urgent? Do you not realize how serious
- 23:19Speaker 2: this is a lot of I don't want to say
- 23:22Speaker 2: purposed fear because that makes it sound like I am disparaging.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Let's say a good oncology doctor that's given their life
- 23:30Speaker 2: to the Lord and they're there to try to help
- 23:31Speaker 2: people that's not what I want to do. But a
- 23:34Speaker 2: side effect of all their cautions and the way they
- 23:36Speaker 2: framework thing has the forbearance of a ton of fear
- 23:39Speaker 2: attached to it. What is the first thing that you
- 23:42Speaker 2: would want someone to hear from, Naomi Havens.
- 23:46Speaker 3: I've been there. I have been there, and fear is
- 23:52Speaker 3: how they get you to move. And you have time.
- 23:58Speaker 3: It's never too late and time you are six foot
- 24:01Speaker 3: under and you do have time.
- 24:06Speaker 4: And I have.
- 24:06Speaker 3: People say but they tell me it's fast moving and
- 24:09Speaker 3: it's rare, and I say, I've heard that before, and
- 24:15Speaker 3: you do have time to do research. And my book
- 24:19Speaker 3: offers a ton of resources. I am a health coach,
- 24:25Speaker 3: a naturopathic practitioner, health coach.
- 24:29Speaker 4: I am able to walk you through it.
- 24:33Speaker 3: And you really need to educate yourself and you need
- 24:37Speaker 3: to be an advocate for yourself.
- 24:41Speaker 5: Yeah. Learning how to be an advocate, I think is
- 24:48Speaker 5: one of the most things people don't know how to
- 24:51Speaker 5: do because of the fear comes in and they're like, well,
- 24:54Speaker 5: I don't even know how to advocate. But we've seen
- 24:56Speaker 5: that a ton, even with our own health journeys or
- 24:59Speaker 5: the kids, you know, learn how to advocate for yourself
- 25:02Speaker 5: and for your kids, because it's so important, especially in
- 25:05Speaker 5: the days we live in right now.
- 25:07Speaker 3: And the more you educate yourself, the better you're going
- 25:10Speaker 3: to be able to advocate.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Absolutely, And I don't know if I'm right about this,
- 25:15Speaker 2: but I also never take the approach when someone has
- 25:17Speaker 2: chosen the allopathic standard of care. Never. I never get
- 25:21Speaker 2: on these people and start becoming the other side and
- 25:25Speaker 2: the other team. Don't you know that if you do this,
- 25:27Speaker 2: you'll have a stroke in five year. Don't you know
- 25:29Speaker 2: what chemo does to the inside of yourself. Yeah, And
- 25:32Speaker 2: I have people that criticize me for that because they
- 25:34Speaker 2: feel like I should be very urgent in trying to
- 25:37Speaker 2: persuade people away from the things. But again, fear is
- 25:41Speaker 2: not a good This is not a good motivator that
- 25:45Speaker 2: are fighting for their lives, regardless of what path they choose.
- 25:48Speaker 2: So when I'm talking to my dearest friends, I have
- 25:50Speaker 2: a friend right now in Oregon. She's about my age.
- 25:53Speaker 2: They told her a year ago that she has triple
- 25:55Speaker 2: negative breast cancer. They've only given her so long to live,
- 25:59Speaker 2: and I don't want to get into her journey. But
- 26:02Speaker 2: the point is, and I'm just I'm just reporting what
- 26:05Speaker 2: she's telling to me. But one of the tumors is
- 26:07Speaker 2: completely gone, and the one that was the larger one
- 26:10Speaker 2: the size of a walnut, is about the size of
- 26:13Speaker 2: an eminem now, and she is doing things nutritionally. She
- 26:18Speaker 2: is focused on lifestyle. She's doing everything she can to
- 26:21Speaker 2: keep her brain engaged in life. She's speaking life over
- 26:23Speaker 2: her kids. She's planning to be here, is what I'm
- 26:26Speaker 2: getting at. Yeah, and right now her doctors can't explain
- 26:30Speaker 2: this what appears to be reversing of things. But when
- 26:33Speaker 2: she first called me friends, you know, she kind of
- 26:36Speaker 2: wanted me to weigh in on which which of these options.
- 26:39Speaker 2: And I only said, pray about what God would do
- 26:42Speaker 2: with your life in this moment. You'll know it's him
- 26:44Speaker 2: speaking when it washes over your body like a salve.
- 26:48Speaker 2: If it's petrifying, if it's terrifying, that's probably not the
- 26:51Speaker 2: right voice. Yeah, listen to the voice of God and
- 26:54Speaker 2: he will speak to you about what the right outcome
- 26:56Speaker 2: for you is the plan that you should pursue and so,
- 27:00Speaker 2: and the reason I do that is not because I'm
- 27:02Speaker 2: afraid to be honest. If somebody absolutely corners me and says,
- 27:05Speaker 2: which of these paths. I'm going to come down on
- 27:08Speaker 2: the side of let's fight everything we can naturally, because
- 27:11Speaker 2: I don't like the side effects of some of the
- 27:14Speaker 2: other forms of care. But one of the things I
- 27:17Speaker 2: refuse to do, friends, is I refuse to try to
- 27:20Speaker 2: scare somebody in taking the holistic natural path because if
- 27:24Speaker 2: you don't, now, they're already overwhelmed. Yeah, they're already fighting
- 27:28Speaker 2: all of these thoughts, some of them suicidal thoughts because
- 27:31Speaker 2: they they'd rather die quickly than over time if they're
- 27:34Speaker 2: not going to make it. And that's just that's just
- 27:36Speaker 2: a sad reality of where we're at. And I will
- 27:40Speaker 2: not be one of the people dog piling them trying
- 27:43Speaker 2: to compel them to do it my way through fear.
- 27:46Speaker 2: So again, pray, take a moment, slow down, be your
- 27:50Speaker 2: own advocate. You'll know it's God when it washes over
- 27:53Speaker 2: you like aself. That's about all I'm going to offer
- 27:57Speaker 2: on a platform like this where I don't know the
- 27:59Speaker 2: individual or what specific deals or dilemmas they're confronted by.
- 28:02Speaker 2: But does that make sense? Yes, irregardless, all of us
- 28:12Speaker 2: have a time and only God knows when that time is.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Everybody in this building drawing oxygen from the day that
- 28:19Speaker 2: we were born. I don't want to say we were
- 28:21Speaker 2: born with a death sentence, but we are living on
- 28:23Speaker 2: a fallen planet, and all of us have a time.
- 28:26Speaker 2: It is unavoidable. My father in law, her dad, he says, Oh,
- 28:30Speaker 2: none of us are getting out of this thing alive.
- 28:36Speaker 2: If you're a believer in Jesus Christ, it's.
- 28:38Speaker 5: Not the end, No, it's a different address different.
- 28:41Speaker 2: It's a shifting of gears. You are now ascending into
- 28:44Speaker 2: your heavenly bodies, and the worries and the woes and
- 28:47Speaker 2: the fears of this place are no more so. Friends,
- 28:51Speaker 2: if you don't know Jesus, get to know him. Find
- 28:53Speaker 2: a local church, find somebody, go to Naomi Haven's website,
- 28:57Speaker 2: check out what they're doing. Get connected to that are
- 29:00Speaker 2: there to support you emotionally and bring you hope and
- 29:03Speaker 2: encouragement and not just pound you and berage you with
- 29:06Speaker 2: fear outcomes. Does that make sense?
- 29:13Speaker 3: So I do talk to a lot of people who
- 29:19Speaker 3: tell me after the fact, or as they're navigating cancer,
- 29:26Speaker 3: that they wish they had known before what I share
- 29:32Speaker 3: with them because I am an educator, I am a teacher,
- 29:36Speaker 3: and I share with them both sides, and we are
- 29:40Speaker 3: all biodiverse and each body is going to have a
- 29:44Speaker 3: different outcome. But this is what I have seen and
- 29:48Speaker 3: learned on this side, and this is what I have
- 29:51Speaker 3: seen and learned and experienced on this side. And they
- 29:56Speaker 3: are so thankful and say, man, I wish I would
- 29:59Speaker 3: have known before.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Naomi, you and Tim are both just wealths of knowledge,
- 30:05Speaker 2: priceless knowledge. Again, go to their websites. Check out the
- 30:08Speaker 2: wonderful work.
- 30:08Speaker 5: That they're doing with your friends.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Share it with your friends. Unfortunately, we're all out of
- 30:12Speaker 2: time for everybody here in studio. Naomi, thank you so
- 30:15Speaker 2: much for being here today.
- 30:16Speaker 4: Thank you for your invite.
- 30:18Speaker 2: My beautiful wife, Catherine, I'm Joe Artist Horn. Keep your
- 30:21Speaker 2: eyes on the prize, which is Jesus Christ.
- 30:24Speaker 1: We'll be back
