- 0:23chickens. Hey everybody.
- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30Boop. So since we are halfway through
- 0:33the year and it's always a great Benchmark of setting stuff up,
- 0:38let's talk about how you set yourself up to win by getting
- 0:43rid of all those little tiny annoying items.
- 0:45Now I usually talk about this as well at the end of the year
- 0:49because you want to set yourself up to win and when I'm talking
- 0:52all these little items, I do mean little items.
- 0:55I'm going to give you a great example so I have boots that I
- 0:57wear to come out to the chicken coop and Just because, you know,
- 1:02chicken poop, right? It can't have chickens without
- 1:04chicken poop. And it's everywhere sometimes,
- 1:06and not just in the coop, but like in the grass.
- 1:09So you have to have shoes on. I like to keep it simple.
- 1:13Keep the same pair of low boots, put them on walk out.
- 1:18Easy beans. They're right outside the door.
- 1:20I just stopped in them and I go well, this pair of boots that I
- 1:24got clearly has an issue because the inside liner of it popped
- 1:30out. Probably because of the humidity
- 1:31we have here, probably, just because I wear them all the
- 1:35time, but the liner has popped, and when you go to put your foot
- 1:39into it, the liner is always shrunken.
- 1:42And then it pushes down on the inside.
- 1:44And you can't typically I'm carrying trays for them in the
- 1:47morning so that I can bring them out their veggies.
- 1:49Yes, they eat veggies every morning.
- 1:51Yes, they're spoiled. We all know that.
- 1:54So I go to bring out three or four trays like right now I have
- 1:56four because I have the baby so I have to make an extra tray and
- 2:00I go to Them out, along with a basket that has that's emptied
- 2:04from having the eggs in it. Along with a dish that has a
- 2:07bunch of seeds in it, for them to have oils and proteins from
- 2:11the seats. Now, obviously my hands are
- 2:14full. I have my phone, too, and I
- 2:16can't just reach down to put the shoe on.
- 2:19So, it's just like, put your foot in and go.
- 2:21Well, the liner is off this annoys, the hell out of me.
- 2:25So, I've been overlooking it for.
- 2:28I'm not even joking for, like, the last Last month, I have just
- 2:31been like, oh, every day. And today, when I said to
- 2:35myself, you know, what am I going to talk to them about?
- 2:37And I went out, and I was trying to figure out what I wanted to
- 2:40talk to you about today. And as I put my foot in, I was
- 2:42like, why am I tolerating having this annoying thing here with me
- 2:47constantly and not fixing it, it's stupid because every
- 2:51morning I make the sound and it's probably been going on for,
- 2:53at least a month where this has been happening.
- 2:56So, these are the kind of things that set the tone.
- 2:58These little tiny things that just make you Peel off and not,
- 3:03right? Because they are pushing you to
- 3:05be like, No, And this is not good.
- 3:07I don't like this, and then that's what you're taking with
- 3:10you. So the point is, you have to set
- 3:14yourself up to win in order to win like this.
- 3:17Doing the right small things and this is preparation, you know,
- 3:23doing something ahead of time so that you feel as though you are
- 3:27on it like today, I will be getting ready for the rest of
- 3:30the A week so that I have not going to spend my whole day
- 3:33doing that. But I'm going to put an hour in
- 3:34early this morning before anybody else, wakes up to get
- 3:38everything organized, so that I don't have to do it during the
- 3:41week and that takes away the stresses.
- 3:44So it's like what's around you that you're tolerating, what are
- 3:47the things that are needing to be touched upon?
- 3:51And it can be a simple thing like I just described or it can
- 3:54be a major thing. Like for instance, another one
- 3:57here that I need to address is irrigation as No, we do tons and
- 4:02tons of plants, tons, and tons of growing, because it's all
- 4:05such a part of wellness, and health, and mental fortitude, to
- 4:11be able to sit there and see stuff grow and feel good about
- 4:14it, put yourself into that space of getting your hands dirty
- 4:17because dirt actually releases enzymes that make you sit.
- 4:23Hasn't it has endorphins and things in it that make you feel
- 4:27so much better when you're out there and you're doing
- 4:29something. So when you It's no joke.
- 4:31When you put your hands in the dirt, it makes you feel better.
- 4:34Well, this is an issue because we need irrigation.
- 4:38So all the spots that I have planted, everything that I have
- 4:41planted, I have to Water by hand and it takes time and so it
- 4:46takes up so much time. Now that it's like, oh my
- 4:50goodness. Okay, I have to deal with
- 4:52irrigation. Now, the main Garden has
- 4:54irrigation, but the other stuff does not, which means we are the
- 4:58irrigation and that An issue that needs to be addressed so is
- 5:03it an immediate issue for me to do today?
- 5:05No. But is it one that we will be
- 5:07working on longer-term? Absolutely.
- 5:09Yes. Because it needs to be worked on
- 5:11longer to put to put it out there so we don't keep having
- 5:15these irritations that show up and that makes just just makes
- 5:19things better. So my point is focus on those
- 5:23little things figure out what they are and clean them up
- 5:27because you'll be exponentially happier when you do.
- 5:30Do. All right, my friends.
- 5:31I hope you have a blessed day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 5:34Bye.
