- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, the Emmys were last night. None of us watched
- 0:03Speaker 1: it right now. Nate Bargatzi was the.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Host, apparently not who was great?
- 0:10Speaker 1: It's sort of okay, I guess unremarkable, not bad, not good,
- 0:16Speaker 1: just sort of there was the impression I got anyway.
- 0:20Speaker 1: But you want to go through some of the winners
- 0:22Speaker 1: and losers. So I'll just got the list here in
- 0:25Speaker 1: front of me. Out Standing comedy series. Have you looked
- 0:28Speaker 1: at these yet? Do you know?
- 0:29Speaker 2: I have them in front of me.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Abbot, Elementary, the Bear Hacks. Nobody wants this. I don't
- 0:35Speaker 1: know what that is.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Nobody wants this as a great very good. It's Kristen
- 0:39Speaker 3: Bell and Adam Brody.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I have heard of it.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really good.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Only murders in the building, shrinking the studio and what
- 0:48Speaker 1: we do in the shadows. Of all of those, I
- 0:51Speaker 1: would have picked.
- 0:53Speaker 2: There's good comedies in there.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Yeah you know, the bear doesn't belong there. As everybody
- 0:57Speaker 1: says all the time, I would have picked what we
- 1:00Speaker 1: do in the shadows, because.
- 1:01Speaker 3: I would have picked nobody wants this for that now
- 1:03Speaker 3: now the studio one, and my guess is because it
- 1:07Speaker 3: is about Hollywood, and Hollywood is who votes for this,
- 1:10Speaker 3: they love the studio.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I think it's very good. Shows, it is good. I'm
- 1:15Speaker 1: not even from Hollywood. Outstanding Drama series this. I think
- 1:19Speaker 1: this was kind of a surprise we had and or
- 1:22Speaker 1: The Diplomat, The Last of Us, Paradise, The Pit, Severance,
- 1:27Speaker 1: slow Horses, and white Lotus. I think money was leaning
- 1:30Speaker 1: toward light white lotus. But it was the pit. I
- 1:34Speaker 1: would have been on the pit.
- 1:35Speaker 2: So the pit.
- 1:36Speaker 3: So I've started my second watching of it.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:41Speaker 3: I don't do this with many things. But my husband
- 1:44Speaker 3: hadn't watched it, and Festus is home. This is Festus's
- 1:48Speaker 3: third time watching it.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Oh well, yeah, it's it's I watched it a second
- 1:52Speaker 1: time all the way through.
- 1:53Speaker 2: It's fantastic.
- 1:54Speaker 1: But and it's also being sued by the estate of
- 1:59Speaker 1: what's his name, Michael Michael, who created e R.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I think that's been settled.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I think no, they're still going to court. I think, well,
- 2:07Speaker 1: look and see. But I thought I said that they're
- 2:08Speaker 1: still going Outstanding limited or anthology series Adolescents, Black Mirror,
- 2:14Speaker 1: Dying for Sex, Monsters, The Life of Eric and Eric
- 2:18Speaker 1: and Lyle Menendez, or The Penguin.
- 2:21Speaker 3: When I saw this, I know I came into work
- 2:23Speaker 3: and I said, this is maybe the best television I've
- 2:27Speaker 3: ever seen.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Adolescence one it is.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I mean, this is not one I will watch again.
- 2:32Speaker 1: It is.
- 2:32Speaker 2: It's hard enough to watch the first time. I was
- 2:35Speaker 2: rooting for the Penguin, but I knew it's fantastic.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Adolescence was gonna was gonna win reality competition program Rue
- 2:43Speaker 1: Paul's Drag Race, Survivor Top Chef or The Traders, and
- 2:46Speaker 1: the Traders won, of course.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Uh.

- 3:01Speaker 3: John Oliver won for for different he won something better.

- 3:18Speaker 1: was Napkins Packs a Slippery Slope, mid century Modern, Here's
- 3:23Speaker 1: to you, Missus Snyderman, the rehearsal, Pilot's Code or the Studio.
- 3:30Speaker 1: The wonner. I'm not don't remember what episode that was,
- 3:34Speaker 1: but that's the one that won Outstanding Directing for a drama,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and the winner was Slow.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Horses, which is also a good show.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I should watch that. I know my it. My
- 3:47Speaker 1: wife really likes it. You the Pit was in the

- 5:06Speaker 1: and Adam Brodie. Lead actor in a drama, Noah Wiley
- 5:11Speaker 1: for the Pit. He's very good, although I think Gary
- 5:16Speaker 1: Oldman is probably even though I haven't seen Slow Horses,
- 5:21Speaker 1: I know enough about it to say that his performance
- 5:24Speaker 1: is apparently just incredible. Outstanding Lead Actor, Limited Anthology, Stephen

- 5:57Speaker 1: Britt Lauer one for Severance. She's she's very good in it,
- 6:01Speaker 1: and it's it's kind of an I mean, I think
- 6:05Speaker 1: that show is a hard cell though. It's you've got
- 6:08Speaker 1: to really want to get into it, and.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Well you have to have you have to commit. Yeah,
- 6:13Speaker 2: it's not a casual No watch.

- 6:21Speaker 1: Somebody Somewhere, I love him. Well, I don't know what
- 6:23Speaker 1: that is.
- 6:24Speaker 3: So Somebody Somewhere is the problem with Somebody Somewhere is
- 6:27Speaker 3: the name the name of the show.
- 6:28Speaker 2: But this is the Bridget Everett Show. It's on HBO,

- 7:35Speaker 1: Outstanding Supporting Actress. Hannah Einbinder for hacks Uh. Supporting actress
- 7:41Speaker 1: in a drama, Catherine le Nasa for the Pit. I'm
