- 0:00Speaker 1: I didn't really think I'd have to do to something
- 0:01Speaker 1: quarantine mode, putting mention in the music, sounding like the
- 0:03Speaker 1: captain of the cuship the cap you go. I feel
- 0:05Speaker 1: like the panc because the don't seem to have any
- 0:07Speaker 1: solutions of gum checking out the YouTube they're gonna reach
- 0:09Speaker 1: out on. I answer, you'll not even know my level
- 0:13Speaker 1: open top five and it's the drop out test schools,
- 0:15Speaker 1: sounding like a pop fave edibles a heavy metal at
- 0:17Speaker 1: a rock band festival.
- 0:18Speaker 2: You wrap at your boss. It's not that tactical.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Maybe just can ever win with these people?
- 0:21Speaker 2: I'm not traveling that far.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Hey, I drove over an hour on Monday to get
- 0:27Speaker 3: to a local, so.
- 0:29Speaker 2: That's not local. That's dedicated one hour. Good on you, sir,
- 0:34Speaker 2: Good on you. But what's going on? Everybody? I am
- 0:37Speaker 2: the one, the only, the w o okay. I e
- 0:40Speaker 2: joined here by my normal cast of misfits. We have
- 0:43Speaker 2: my number one, mister Cole Robbie.
- 0:46Speaker 3: I am everybody's number one. I am the pillar of
- 0:51Speaker 3: all altered and very humble.
- 0:54Speaker 2: And we have the serial murderer of bad people, Dexter. Hello, Hello,
- 1:02Speaker 2: one day I'll get that.
- 1:04Speaker 3: No.
- 1:04Speaker 4: I love Dexter.
- 1:06Speaker 2: The Great Choice.
- 1:08Speaker 4: I've seen probably about three seasons. I relate to them
- 1:11Speaker 4: a little bit too much.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I see them. So my wife, you know, she kind
- 1:15Speaker 2: of during like now when I do the show is
- 1:18Speaker 2: because my setups in my living room. You know, I could,
- 1:21Speaker 2: I could call it my studio, but it's literally just
- 1:23Speaker 2: my living room. But she'll like go watch She'll go
- 1:28Speaker 2: like binge watch some shows. And she was watching Dexter
- 1:31Speaker 2: and one day, like I'm watching, I'm like getting ready
- 1:34Speaker 2: to get into the shower and like I'm just like
- 1:37Speaker 2: what is this, Like I'm not really getting to this
- 1:38Speaker 2: show and it's Dexter, and she's like, yeah, that's great,
- 1:41Speaker 2: they're coming out with the next one. My wife really
- 1:43Speaker 2: also likes I'm trying to think of it. She really
- 1:48Speaker 2: is into a true crime so like murder is like
- 1:53Speaker 2: her jam. Yeah, Like she recently told me like she
- 1:57Speaker 2: would like really get giddy if she found it dead body.
- 2:00Speaker 2: And I found that weird, but I guess it's like
- 2:04Speaker 2: normal and like true the true crime community.
- 2:07Speaker 4: So yeah, you know what.
- 2:11Speaker 3: We're going to talk about today and Dexter have in common.
- 2:16Speaker 3: They are both ice cold.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Oh all right, so today we're going over the spoilers.
- 2:26Speaker 2: There's a lot of them. I don't know. We may
- 2:29Speaker 2: end up winding to chunk this into two episodes, not
- 2:31Speaker 2: one hundred percent sure. We'll kind of see how it
- 2:33Speaker 2: goes and how the flow of things is. We might
- 2:37Speaker 2: end up having to do too. We were supposed to
- 2:40Speaker 2: have z here. I guess his in laws are important
- 2:44Speaker 2: for some reason.
- 2:47Speaker 3: It doesn't make much sense to me.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I don't know what I You know, he must like
- 2:50Speaker 2: his his in laws, right, I call mine the outlaws.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Because that makes them sound cool though.
- 2:57Speaker 2: It does, right, That's why it doesn't. It doesn't. But
- 3:01Speaker 2: you know the Outlaws are coming over. Haha, get it big.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Thank you to a guy trying we're using his doc.
- 3:09Speaker 2: I don't know if I'm supposed to say that, but
- 3:10Speaker 2: we're gonna.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Yes, please please do There we go, so I was
- 3:14Speaker 3: going to before we dive in, because this is gonna
- 3:19Speaker 3: be like the whole episode. The final week to qualify
- 3:24Speaker 3: for the ACE Season two championship is on Tuesday the
- 3:30Speaker 3: twenty eighth, or not the twenty eighth. The final week
- 3:34Speaker 3: is on Tuesday, the twenty first. The championship is on
- 3:38Speaker 3: the twenty eighth. You're listening to this and you've never
- 3:41Speaker 3: heard about ACE. It's probably too late by the time
- 3:44Speaker 3: it goes live, But come watch the Championship.
- 3:47Speaker 2: If you're listening to this and you've never heard about ACE,
- 3:50Speaker 2: are you actually even listening to this podcast?
- 3:53Speaker 3: I mean maybe they jump in for the spoilers.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Just background noise. Oh fair enough. But yeah, you know what,
- 4:02Speaker 2: while you're here, hit the like, the subscribe, the follow,
- 4:05Speaker 2: the whatever button it is on the platform you're listening to.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Let's get us into the top sixty eight of you know,
- 4:15Speaker 2: altered creators, because there are clearly more than sixty seven
- 4:19Speaker 2: other creators out there who are more important than me
- 4:24Speaker 2: sitting down for hours every week editing an episode and
- 4:27Speaker 2: putting some banging music in front of it. I spend
- 4:31Speaker 2: a lot of time on the music. Believe that or not.
- 4:35Speaker 4: But I think it's.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Time we dive in. I just me. Nobody else wants
- 4:45Speaker 2: to dive in. Just me. All right, Well, let's go in.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I was gonna say, you're kinking it off.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Let's take it away. We're gonna start out with axiom
- 4:53Speaker 2: because these are an alphabetic well they're in alphabetical order
- 4:56Speaker 2: according to numerical order. A new miracle order.
- 5:01Speaker 3: It should it should be both, right, it's.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's how they do it because axiom starts
- 5:06Speaker 2: with A. So that's where we're starting. That's how alphabetical works. Dexter. Yes,
- 5:12Speaker 2: let's start with the Rocket Puffet. Well, your reprints for
- 5:15Speaker 2: your heroes are going to be Serra and Oddball and
- 5:18Speaker 2: Sue Bash.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Andmorrow no no trace get that and draft and sealed,
- 5:25Speaker 4: So maybe some adjusting there.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Maybe, But let's talk about the Rocket puffet. He is
- 5:30Speaker 2: a two from pad two for reserve two zero three.
- 5:35Speaker 2: When he enters play from anywhere, you may ready an
- 5:38Speaker 2: exhausted cardon reserve. Oh nice, little like counter to what
- 5:43Speaker 2: we're going to hear a lot of. If you listen
- 5:46Speaker 2: to last episode you'll understand that. And then we can
- 5:49Speaker 2: go into the rear. And then the faction shifted again
- 5:53Speaker 2: to two for two oh three again. When played from
- 5:58Speaker 2: anywhere anywhere, you may ready exhausted card in oh I'm sorry,
- 6:02Speaker 2: ready or exhausted card and reserve if you do it
- 6:05Speaker 2: gains one boost yep.
- 6:07Speaker 4: And then their version is just the exact same yep.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Just like I said. It was.
- 6:16Speaker 4: Like this card helps a lot with the trace mechanic.
- 6:20Speaker 4: If you're putting down those Haven bastions trying to play
- 6:24Speaker 4: cards from reserve and they're getting exhausted. You want to
- 6:26Speaker 4: get them unexhausted so you can keep playing stuff.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Well, I like it. It's a little above curve right
- 6:32Speaker 2: for a two for a two hand to reserve right
- 6:35Speaker 2: being a two zero, and then the three the three
- 6:38Speaker 2: kind of it's not terrible, Like it's nothing to write
- 6:41Speaker 2: home about. Don't tell Gramma, be like, check out this puffin.
- 6:45Speaker 3: You can't ask the artist player if the stats are good.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Oh sorry, sorry, they have so many options.
- 6:52Speaker 2: These are terrible stats.
- 6:53Speaker 4: I think are good.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Does it doesn't even create a recruit in the opposite
- 6:58Speaker 2: the opposite expedition this jump. Yeah.
- 7:01Speaker 4: I don't know if I would include this in my
- 7:03Speaker 4: trace list right now, just because it does cost two
- 7:07Speaker 4: and it's taking away some other one options and two
- 7:10Speaker 4: options that have more just straight stats and value. But
- 7:14Speaker 4: if there is a lot of exhausting from reserve in
- 7:17Speaker 4: the meta, I think this could be super useful and
- 7:19Speaker 4: traced and subash to just keep being able to play
- 7:23Speaker 4: your guards.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I'm trying to place this flavor text which is blasting
- 7:27Speaker 2: off at the speed of light, and I want to
- 7:30Speaker 2: say it's Little Einstein's, but I think that's wrong. My
- 7:35Speaker 2: initial reaction went to Little Einstein's and then I'm like, oh, wait,
- 7:38Speaker 2: maybe it's Pokemon. But no, that's we're blasting off again.
- 7:42Speaker 2: So nothing there.
- 7:45Speaker 4: I wait, sure what that reference is from?
- 7:48Speaker 2: Which one Little Einstein's or Pokemon? Which one? Yeah?
- 7:56Speaker 3: Probably both, He's too young for both.
- 7:58Speaker 4: For Pokemon, I watched what Pokemon? Though, like Sun and Moon.
- 8:09Speaker 3: I've watched Sun and Moon.
- 8:12Speaker 2: That that was that was part of that was part of,
- 8:16Speaker 2: wasn't it.
- 8:18Speaker 3: I don't freaking well, let's.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Go out of the about the puffer.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Yeah, well, just in response to what uh Dexter said,
- 8:27Speaker 3: I think that's a fair way to look at it
- 8:29Speaker 3: more than the stats is if it has an inclusion
- 8:33Speaker 3: in your deck, because it is not a robot. So,
- 8:37Speaker 3: while coming from a lens of playing moona a two
- 8:41Speaker 3: cost that has a two in nature and a three
- 8:44Speaker 3: in water is looking really good, I can see an axiom.
- 8:48Speaker 3: How unless you're playing a build that works around exhausting cards,
- 8:53Speaker 3: which you'll see more of a theme over the next
- 8:56Speaker 3: couple of cards, I can see this not being an inclusion.
- 9:00Speaker 3: But for.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I didn't think this wasn't include like, this isn't a
- 9:05Speaker 2: card that you're like, oh, this this automatically replaces XYZ song.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Yeah, but like Sneezershroom is two manna and it's a
- 9:14Speaker 3: one one one. So that's kind of just your comparison there.
- 9:18Speaker 2: But I was just finding something nice to say about
- 9:20Speaker 2: it because I actually really liked the rocket puffing.
- 9:23Speaker 3: No, the cards are great.
- 9:24Speaker 2: You'll also find that I love bad cards, and it
- 9:29Speaker 2: has nothing to do with what they are. It has
- 9:31Speaker 2: everything to do with their flavor. But let's go. Let's
- 9:35Speaker 2: go to the Daring Porter three from hand three from
- 9:38Speaker 2: reserve for a two three to two. Uh, exhaust re supply,
- 9:43Speaker 2: put the top card of your deck in reserve, then
- 9:46Speaker 2: exhaust it. Exhausted cards can't be played and have no supportabilities.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I guess should I just read them all? I think
- 9:54Speaker 2: I've never done We've never done reveals for this type
- 9:56Speaker 2: of thing.
- 9:57Speaker 4: But the other two are just an arrow ability and
- 10:00Speaker 4: set of a play from reserve ability.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't say that is a play
- 10:04Speaker 2: from reserve. And then the other two are played from anywhere.
- 10:07Speaker 4: And then the off faction is in Yasmere's.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Gonna take a little bit to get this down.
- 10:15Speaker 3: How a lot of altered cards work is the rare
- 10:17Speaker 3: will change the ability, or change the cost, or change
- 10:21Speaker 3: the stats, and the off faction, if I remember correctly,
- 10:26Speaker 3: will either be like a direct part of the rare. Yeah,
- 10:31Speaker 3: sometimes even.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Slightly weaker version or a version that's more adjusted to
- 10:36Speaker 4: the faction, like instead of saying game two boost, it's
- 10:40Speaker 4: like ank or something I don't know, yep, or put
- 10:43Speaker 4: it to sleep or what?
- 10:44Speaker 2: Just reading them right, because there's three of every card,
- 10:47Speaker 2: you know, when we do these for for key Fords, right,
- 10:49Speaker 2: there's only one of every card that was three. So
- 10:53Speaker 2: it's gonna take me a little bit into a.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Car where yeah, we can just say it's the same
- 11:00Speaker 3: India's or whatever.
- 11:01Speaker 2: But does this have a little bit to do?
- 11:03Speaker 3: Fore?
- 11:04Speaker 2: Can this be an include in a deck? I mean
- 11:07Speaker 2: it's it is very very very slow draw ability.
- 11:13Speaker 4: I think if it costed to it would be great.
- 11:16Speaker 4: I think at three it doesn't make sense because it's
- 11:21Speaker 4: only exhausted resupplying and then if you're going to exhausted
- 11:24Speaker 4: resupply and then play the puffer to ready the card
- 11:27Speaker 4: to play the card, that's just so slow and well.
- 11:30Speaker 2: I'm not saying that you have to play the puffin too,
- 11:32Speaker 2: but like.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Yeah, but like if you want to get.
- 11:39Speaker 2: It's a slow way to see more cards.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:44Speaker 3: There there is one way that we could talk about
- 11:46Speaker 3: these cards, and that is most of the time we'll
- 11:52Speaker 3: be going straight down the line. But these two cards
- 11:56Speaker 3: specifically pair very well with number seventeen. If you just
- 12:03Speaker 3: look at number seventeen quick.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Let me go to seven time.
- 12:07Speaker 3: I I think this is where those two cards come.
- 12:13Speaker 2: So I'm going to go over number seventeen right now,
- 12:15Speaker 2: which is a calonic heater. So the common is a
- 12:19Speaker 2: two to two is an expedition permanent. You're at the
- 12:24Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I am at the wrong number. My bad.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I'm looking at the cell levels and reprocessor. There you go,
- 12:33Speaker 2: all right, this is a landmark permanent construction at noon
- 12:38Speaker 2: exhausty supply. Put the top card of your deck in
- 12:41Speaker 2: your it's resupply, but it's exhausted. This is the common
- 12:46Speaker 2: version four from hand for from reserve. You may keep one.
- 12:49Speaker 4: You didn't read them, which.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Did I miss?
- 12:54Speaker 4: Go on? I missed the mat, forgot the bottom.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I missed the mat. I'm man acost so I was
- 12:58Speaker 2: kind of just adding there, try to try to keep up,
- 13:01Speaker 2: but you may keep one more card in reserve during
- 13:04Speaker 2: night if it is exhausted. The rares are still both
- 13:10Speaker 2: four from hand for from reserve exhausted resupply and then
- 13:14Speaker 2: at noon exhausted resupply, and then you may keep one
- 13:18Speaker 2: more card reserved during night if it's exhausted.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Yeah, so the rare ones just add when it enters,
- 13:25Speaker 4: you get to do another little extra exhausted resupply.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Yep, so it self fulfills it on prophecies. So the
- 13:31Speaker 2: rare one seems pretty decent because you are getting too
- 13:35Speaker 2: exhausted resupply and then keep an additional exhausted resupply.
- 13:42Speaker 3: And so having the expanded reserve is going to be nice.
- 13:48Speaker 3: And that's when these two cards might see a little
- 13:52Speaker 3: more play.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I haven't seen this. Are you allowed to because most
- 13:56Speaker 2: heroes and I'm going to assume that both the axiom
- 13:59Speaker 2: heroes are no day are allowed to have two landmarks.
- 14:02Speaker 4: All of them are two landmarks than two reserves.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I thought. Am I allowed to have? Yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 2: there's no like uniqueness to permanent or to landmark permanence. Correct, yep.
- 14:16Speaker 4: You could have two frozen reprocessors and then every day
- 14:20Speaker 4: keep two extra exhausted cards in your reserve. I mean
- 14:26Speaker 4: it things good.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I don't know, but that that doesn't seem bad.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Yep. I could see some very good builds, especially if
- 14:36Speaker 3: you find uniques that have landmark requirements. A lot of
- 14:40Speaker 3: the time seeing a unique with the landmark requirement is
- 14:45Speaker 3: a downside. But I think that changes a lot more
- 14:48Speaker 3: in Trial by Frost because there'll just be more landmarks.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Some more decks will probably run landmarks.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I definitely think we're going to see an uptick
- 14:59Speaker 4: in people running landmarks and Dry by Frost. There's just
- 15:02Speaker 4: so many more that are good landmarks.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I kind of dig this. I can see this being
- 15:08Speaker 2: a good way to work your way through some cards, right, Like,
- 15:11Speaker 2: we all like to see more cards, and we've we've
- 15:14Speaker 2: talked about this. Card draw is huge, so big in
- 15:19Speaker 2: this game.
- 15:19Speaker 3: So there's no downside to running out of cards either.
- 15:25Speaker 3: You just reshuffle.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if I like that still, but
- 15:29Speaker 2: I've never really come I've never really come across where
- 15:32Speaker 2: it's become an issue.
- 15:34Speaker 3: So yeah, I've had it happen maybe once. But the
- 15:40Speaker 3: next card Lord Kelvin all.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Lord, I'm not sure who Lord Kelvin. Is anybody know
- 15:50Speaker 2: what is Lord Calvin? A? What is he a? What
- 15:52Speaker 2: is he a? He's a scientist, right, but what is
- 15:55Speaker 2: he a? Like we just talked about Calvin the scientist,
- 15:59Speaker 2: Calvin from ye Earth. Yep, that's not as fun as
- 16:04Speaker 2: I wanted it to be, all right, So.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Well you look somehow it's and like Kelvin is the
- 16:09Speaker 4: one where.
- 16:10Speaker 2: It's like that. I know what it is. I just
- 16:12Speaker 2: I wanted it to be more than that, and it's not.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Now I'm disappointed, And that's fine. Four from hand, four
- 16:19Speaker 2: from reserve, four four four from reserve. The common version
- 16:24Speaker 2: you can you may exhaust target card in reserve. Actually
- 16:29Speaker 2: the other ones do the same thing. You may exhaust
- 16:32Speaker 2: tiget card from reserve. So the rares actually don't shift
- 16:35Speaker 2: anything except they are one cheaper from reserve. So they
- 16:39Speaker 2: are a four from hand three from reserve. And your
- 16:43Speaker 2: mountain stat is one less.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Yes, this one. I don't I don't have too much
- 16:52Speaker 3: to say about it. The art is amazing. It could
- 16:56Speaker 3: be seen in a build where people are just trying.
- 16:59Speaker 2: To you what's in his jar?
- 17:03Speaker 3: He is freezing a shroom?
- 17:05Speaker 2: Is a mushroom in there?
- 17:08Speaker 3: Yeah? Unfortunately, although if you are wanting to do the
- 17:13Speaker 3: exhausted type build, this is another card that you can
- 17:17Speaker 3: exhaust your own cards so that you can keep those one.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Or two extra also does seem a bit pricey. I
- 17:24Speaker 2: don't know. Four three, I don't know. If he finds
- 17:27Speaker 2: a home.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it'll it'll be interesting, but I think really maybe
- 17:33Speaker 3: only the type of build where you're trying to expand
- 17:37Speaker 3: your reserve or trying to exhaust other people's reserve.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm I'm looking. I'm not gonna lie to you.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I'm looking for that control build. If I find it
- 17:48Speaker 2: in here, it.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Will probably be in Usemeir, I think that's.
- 17:51Speaker 2: That would be the next Yazmir is a faction I
- 17:54Speaker 2: do heavily.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Enjoy, ellam dexter not mention it.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I do like Yazmar. Yizmir is my other, like my
- 18:01Speaker 2: backup faction, right because I like him, but like I don't.
- 18:04Speaker 2: I don't go around telling people I like him but
- 18:06Speaker 2: I like him. Let's move on to Gibble. He is
- 18:11Speaker 2: a six from hands six from reserve five five five.
- 18:16Speaker 2: When you play him from anywhere, you create a brass
- 18:19Speaker 2: bug two to two robot token and target expedition.
- 18:23Speaker 4: The rare.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Six from hands six from reserve five five five. If
- 18:28Speaker 2: you control two or more permanents, create two brass bugs
- 18:34Speaker 2: and target expedition. Otherwise, create only one and then the
- 18:38Speaker 2: faction shift. It is in the faction to which we
- 18:41Speaker 2: do not name all of yep, that's the exact same.
- 18:46Speaker 2: All of them have the quick ability activate the playabilities
- 18:52Speaker 2: of target permanent. You control this card me from reserve
- 18:56Speaker 2: to do this.
- 18:57Speaker 4: This is a very expensive card that rare one can
- 19:02Speaker 4: be spam and bugs. So I think maybe Landmark heavy,
- 19:06Speaker 4: bug heavy control more permanence, Yeah, permanent heavy, Subash or
- 19:13Speaker 4: Sierra with the bug generation.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Sierra or Subash usually do. I think it is an
- 19:22Speaker 3: okay card in either Subash or Sierra. I think I
- 19:27Speaker 3: I like cards like this because if you resupply it,
- 19:34Speaker 3: at worst you can use the support ability, which Axiom
- 19:38Speaker 3: has really good interactions with activating their permanence. Yes, I mean,
- 19:45Speaker 3: you can sabotage with it, you can add boosts with it,
- 19:49Speaker 3: you can create brass bugs with it, YadA, YadA YadA.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Other than that, if you think you're really gonna two landmarks,
- 20:02Speaker 3: it's Axiom, have no no.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I get it, I get it. I get it. I'm
- 20:09Speaker 2: catching it what you're throwing. But don't their havens get
- 20:12Speaker 2: blown up most of the time. I know, I blow
- 20:15Speaker 2: up the haven.
- 20:18Speaker 3: I think there is a current theme with Altered where
- 20:23Speaker 3: everyone wants to go low low low.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Wondering if we see it shift just a little bit
- 20:31Speaker 3: as more sets release. But I don't know. Maybe if
- 20:37Speaker 3: everyone just sticks to low low low, this doesn't see
- 20:39Speaker 3: as much play. I don't know.
- 20:42Speaker 4: And permanent it does count gear as well.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Right, this says target permanent you control. I believe so,
- 20:50Speaker 3: because it doesn't Okay, that might not be a landmark
- 20:53Speaker 3: permanent or.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, okay, you could be right on that one.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I didn't think about all the gear permanents that are
- 21:02Speaker 2: going to be floating around out there, so yeah, I
- 21:06Speaker 2: didn't think about all those. Let's move into avalanche three
- 21:09Speaker 2: from hand three from reserve fleeting send to reserve any
- 21:15Speaker 2: number of target characters with the mountain with a total
- 21:19Speaker 2: with total mountain of four or less. The rare version
- 21:25Speaker 2: is the same manicoss fleeting send to reserve any number
- 21:30Speaker 2: of target characters with total mountain of five or less,
- 21:35Speaker 2: and then the faction shifted one is I believe the
- 21:38Speaker 2: same thing as the common version, except now it's in Lyra.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Mm hmmm, yep, this is another Kraken. It's disgusting and
- 21:46Speaker 3: I hate that it's not Ina.
- 21:50Speaker 4: I like it reckons wrath, but better a.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Little more controlled for Lyra. I can get behind that, right.
- 21:58Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure I don't think you're running the rare
- 22:01Speaker 4: axiom one probably just one more total doesn't make sense
- 22:04Speaker 4: for a rare slot. I don't think.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Oh, probably not. You probably are, probably are running this
- 22:10Speaker 2: in Lightra either you slot to put it in.
- 22:14Speaker 3: I think the reason that it is shifted to Lyra
- 22:17Speaker 3: is because I think the the aaction that should be
- 22:20Speaker 3: most scared of this card is Lyra because isn't Lyra. Yeah,
- 22:27Speaker 3: let's see, Like technically doesn't say base though, so I wonder.
- 22:34Speaker 5: I'm uh, I'm just thinking like targeting or a Borrows
- 22:41Speaker 5: trickster that technically has zero in mountain boosts wouldn't count
- 22:49Speaker 5: as that I think they do because it doesn't say bas.
- 22:53Speaker 2: It doesn't say basis. That's kind of the point being made,
- 22:55Speaker 2: is I'm trying.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm trying to see who generally has like the
- 23:02Speaker 3: least amount of mountain because if you think about it.
- 23:04Speaker 3: If a card has zero in mallin, it doesn't add
- 23:08Speaker 3: to the total of malin. Right. Yeah, so I have
- 23:12Speaker 3: not played much around with Kraken's wrath. I don't think
- 23:16Speaker 3: it's super beneficial in that regard, but that could potentially
- 23:22Speaker 3: be scary in some ways if you have cards that
- 23:25Speaker 3: have zero malin.
- 23:28Speaker 2: All right, speaking of Kolonic, to our boy in the
- 23:30Speaker 2: chat Blue who went to go take his Klonic, let
- 23:35Speaker 2: us know how that's going. Klonic Heater is an expedition
- 23:40Speaker 2: permanent gear two from hand two from reserve, exhausted resupply.
- 23:47Speaker 2: You may play exhausted characters from your reserve in my expedition.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Oh that's kind of fun. Get some stuff. You can
- 23:55Speaker 2: get some stuff out there. Now when they come out
- 23:58Speaker 2: of reserve, they're on exhausted to then write or not.
- 24:04Speaker 4: It doesn't seem like targe and be exhausted well being
- 24:08Speaker 4: in expedition zones. I don't think we've seen any rules
- 24:11Speaker 4: about that.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Right right, I don't think so, do they have? I
- 24:16Speaker 3: don't think they have any rules. Updates on the new cards, No,
- 24:20Speaker 3: there's not anything yet. There will be as we talked
- 24:24Speaker 3: about last episode, though, new rules comprehensive rules coming out.
- 24:31Speaker 3: I think the twenty fourth is what it was. Yeah, oh,
- 24:34Speaker 3: here we go rulings and clarifications. We are in the future.
- 24:38Speaker 3: This clarification is from one thirty one, twenty twenty five
- 24:42Speaker 3: and it is when I play an exhausted character from
- 24:45Speaker 3: reserve thanks to kilanic heater, does it arrive in the
- 24:48Speaker 3: expedition ready or exhausted? Answer? Ready? No?
- 24:52Speaker 2: Okay, perfect. Yeah, let's move into the rare kalodic heater,
- 24:57Speaker 2: which is a three from hand one from reserve exhausted resupply.
- 25:02Speaker 2: You may put in the same thing. Can you can
- 25:04Speaker 2: play exhausted characters from your reserve in my expedition and
- 25:09Speaker 2: then it looks like Yazmir is also getting one, but
- 25:13Speaker 2: this will just be the same as the common version.
- 25:16Speaker 3: The rare is really interesting because it is so much
- 25:20Speaker 3: cheaper from reserves.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Significantly, you do not get.
- 25:25Speaker 3: The exhausted resupply. But this this card, I feel is
- 25:29Speaker 3: really good for traced because the exhausted reserve is bad
- 25:35Speaker 3: for Trace. But if he resupplies this and then just
- 25:40Speaker 3: uses it, then he just plays from Yeah. This is
- 25:45Speaker 3: this is I.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Would like, is no common more for Tracete just because
- 25:49Speaker 4: it doesn't use a rare slot and to to it's
- 25:52Speaker 4: exhausted resupplying both times. Yeah, I actually really like that card.
- 25:56Speaker 2: I think that would be exhausted resupply from anywhere. M
- 26:02Speaker 2: and then yeah, the klonic heater for the rare version.
- 26:05Speaker 2: For the rare axiom version is only from hand yep.
- 26:09Speaker 3: So yep, but playing exhausted characters from your reserve is
- 26:14Speaker 3: pretty good. There might be uh some fighting for some
- 26:18Speaker 3: permanent slots for axiom yep.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Sounds about right. All right, let's move into another permanent
- 26:27Speaker 2: This seems like a very permanent heavy set already, although
- 26:30Speaker 2: we don't I can't say that, but ice hollow landmark
- 26:36Speaker 2: permanent site three from hand, three from reserve. When a
- 26:41Speaker 2: card from your hand or deck, I'm sorry, yeah, what
- 26:44Speaker 2: a car from your hand or deck to reserve, I
- 26:47Speaker 2: gain a trial counter. When I gain a third trial counter,
- 26:51Speaker 2: sacrifice me. If you do create a dragon shade five
- 26:55Speaker 2: y five illusion token in target expedition, then ready your
- 26:59Speaker 2: cards in reserve. The rare is three from hand, two
- 27:05Speaker 2: from reserve, pretty much the same thing. And then this
- 27:10Speaker 2: does get shifted over in the mona mm hmm, and
- 27:14Speaker 2: it is the exact same thing as the rare. It
- 27:17Speaker 2: doesn't change in the same slightly different abilities.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I actually like a lot of these ice bounds,
- 27:27Speaker 3: just because it's like a set it and forget it.
- 27:30Speaker 3: But I think because Axiom has so much of landmark choice,
- 27:35Speaker 3: I don't know if they are that excited about this
- 27:38Speaker 3: one or play this one maybe sieras I don't think
- 27:42Speaker 3: the other two do. When a card goes from your
- 27:44Speaker 3: hand or deck to reserve.
- 27:47Speaker 4: You'll probably getting the be getting those counters pretty quick
- 27:50Speaker 4: in like two terms later on in the game. But
- 27:53Speaker 4: still it's taking up a little mark.
- 27:55Speaker 2: There is a lot of.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Two aments out that's what you want more than this.
- 28:00Speaker 2: There is a lot of resupply. It's exhausted resupply, but
- 28:03Speaker 2: there is a lot in set. I think almost every
- 28:07Speaker 2: card we've read, well maybe not as many as I thought,
- 28:10Speaker 2: but a lot of them. This might end up popping
- 28:14Speaker 2: like the turn you play it.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Maybe we'll have to phone the audience and see what
- 28:21Speaker 3: Doombringer thinks. As the Muna player, I will say, this
- 28:25Speaker 3: is not the ice bound that I care about, but
- 28:28Speaker 3: we will see one later that I am very interested
- 28:32Speaker 3: in playing.
- 28:34Speaker 2: All Right, we do have a blurry picture with some
- 28:37Speaker 2: full art, but we don't know what it does. Nice art.
- 28:40Speaker 3: You forgot the frozen reprocessor.
- 28:43Speaker 2: We did We did that one already.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah, because we jumped secon.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Yeah, we kind of we kind of jumped around a
- 28:48Speaker 2: little bit. Here. We kind of jumped around a little bit.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Or here.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Oh man, Yeah, this blurry picture, I can read blurry
- 28:56Speaker 3: Oh something energy Pioneer or something like that.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, I was looking at I kind of
- 29:06Speaker 2: was skipping ahead to Bravos because right off the bat
- 29:11Speaker 2: love it, fire Rabbit. Somebody listening to us not telling us,
- 29:17Speaker 2: got fire dog now fire Rabbit, just saying you've never
- 29:22Speaker 2: seen me and Batman in the same room together. So yeah,
- 29:26Speaker 2: one from hand, one from reserve for one one zero.
- 29:30Speaker 2: When played from hand, you may have me gain fleeting.
- 29:33Speaker 2: If you do, another target character gains one boost. The
- 29:39Speaker 2: rare version is again the same thing, except you gain
- 29:43Speaker 2: a water stat when you played from hand. Also, you
- 29:47Speaker 2: can give it fleeting give something boost quick action. The
- 29:51Speaker 2: next character you played this turn gains one boost and
- 29:55Speaker 2: then it's shifted to ortis interesting choice, which is the
- 30:00Speaker 2: exact same as the common. When played from hand, you
- 30:04Speaker 2: can give it fleeting if you do it gains a boost.
- 30:09Speaker 3: This one's a no brainer to me and a lot
- 30:11Speaker 3: of dicks. I don't know about Ortis because Ortis is
- 30:13Speaker 3: already spoiled for choice. But Bravos, I don't see why
- 30:18Speaker 3: you wouldn't play this card unless you're going a different route.
- 30:22Speaker 3: How what do you mean how it's you don't have
- 30:26Speaker 3: to have it gained Fleeting, it's you may and it's
- 30:30Speaker 3: it's a one drop that's better than a spindle, and
- 30:37Speaker 3: it can give something else a boost.
- 30:39Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, that may makes it good. If it didn't
- 30:42Speaker 4: have me, I would hate it. But this is this
- 30:43Speaker 4: is solid for sure.
- 30:45Speaker 2: It's pretty good quick action on the rare. I don't
- 30:48Speaker 2: think you're talking about the rare but no, But you.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Know, I like quick actions that are like that give
- 30:54Speaker 3: you a second choice if you can't play it or
- 30:56Speaker 3: don't want to play it. You'll also see as we
- 30:58Speaker 3: go down, Bravos, that there will be some specific pieces
- 31:03Speaker 3: that link together with Fleeting. So it's yeah, it's just
- 31:06Speaker 3: it's just a good card.
- 31:09Speaker 2: As Fox guy, sorry, I'm already reading ahead. I do
- 31:12Speaker 2: like the next guy though for Leira.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he's dope, and the unique art is very cool.
- 31:18Speaker 3: But phoning the audience earlier, Doombringer said that they are
- 31:24Speaker 3: going to play an ice bound deck with all of
- 31:28Speaker 3: the ice bounds in Axiom first year. So there's your
- 31:32Speaker 3: answer there, icebound deck. Uh, and west Will for the
- 31:36Speaker 3: Rabbit says it's a definite three of in Bravos now, so.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I kind of thought of thought, So I do. I
- 31:44Speaker 2: do like it, But let's go to the Oh, I'm
- 31:46Speaker 2: gonna butcher this guy's last name the haven saringar inghar Yeah. Yeah,
- 31:55Speaker 2: and two from reserve three to one one. When I
- 32:00Speaker 2: leave the expedition zone, I get if if I was
- 32:03Speaker 2: fleeting draw card, the rare version is a two from
- 32:08Speaker 2: hand two from reserve just three just three forests. When
- 32:12Speaker 2: I leave the expedition zone I was if I was
- 32:15Speaker 2: fleeting draw card. If played from reserve, it also gains
- 32:21Speaker 2: one boost and then the lyra version is the exact same.
- 32:28Speaker 2: I just like to dry if I was fleeting draw card.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I like things that say dry.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Yeah. This this common is probably one of the best
- 32:38Speaker 3: commons we've seen in a while, and I think you'd
- 32:41Speaker 3: be crazy not to play it, especially because Bravos has
- 32:47Speaker 3: things that can remove fleeting over and over. This could
- 32:50Speaker 3: be so many cards.
- 32:51Speaker 4: Well, that wouldn't work, though, would it, because.
- 32:54Speaker 2: You wouldn't true, it wouldn't they wouldn't draw the card.
- 32:58Speaker 4: But I think it's possible.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I think you're okay with that kind of thing.
- 33:02Speaker 4: I mean, you could remove the leading after but I
- 33:05Speaker 4: don't know.
- 33:05Speaker 2: But it also replaces itself, that is, withdrawing the card.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I did get ahead of myself. But yeah, when
- 33:14Speaker 3: I leave the expedition zone, yeah, no, I don't. Yeah,
- 33:17Speaker 3: I don't think there's any way that you could, uh
- 33:20Speaker 3: you could cheat that this text existing.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Yeah, to Burger says it would be busted if you
- 33:27Speaker 2: could do that, it probably would be.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I just got ahead of myself.
- 33:33Speaker 2: It's still a very I think, still a very good card.
- 33:36Speaker 2: It will find homes just because of that draw card.
- 33:41Speaker 4: I think absolutely. It has nothing else that draws.
- 33:46Speaker 2: But any faction that a card that says draw card
- 33:50Speaker 2: is like damn right, all right, anyways, I.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Mean less so amused me here just because it already
- 33:58Speaker 4: has so many But yes.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Well it's not faction shifted to theasmere so it doesn't matter.
- 34:03Speaker 2: It's fact the shifting the lyra. Well, let's go into Elsa.
- 34:07Speaker 2: I mean Scotty, not sure.
- 34:12Speaker 3: You're Alsa was revealed today, by the way.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Was it really was there? There was an ice Quean
- 34:17Speaker 2: reveal today?
- 34:19Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 34:19Speaker 2: Yeah is elsa no oh man, I like this. Bravos
- 34:24Speaker 2: doom Bringer Trail, Bravos tril Blazer too. We'll get into
- 34:27Speaker 2: him in a minute. Scotty is a two from hand
- 34:29Speaker 2: three from reserve two three two when played firm reserve,
- 34:33Speaker 2: you may exhaust target card in reserve. The rare is
- 34:38Speaker 2: a two from hand three from reserve two three to
- 34:41Speaker 2: two firm reserve if I am in mountain sabotage. Otherwise
- 34:48Speaker 2: you may exhaust target card and reserve, and then it
- 34:52Speaker 2: is faction shifted into axiom, which is just the rare
- 34:56Speaker 2: version with sweet snowcows. You can't forget about the awesome snowcows.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Cannot forget about the snow cows. Oh, you may exhaust
- 35:08Speaker 3: I mean.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Yeah, so this only happens in you know what happens
- 35:14Speaker 2: in the good chunk of them one two two.
- 35:20Speaker 3: I think this one is just good stats for ye.
- 35:24Speaker 4: From hand it's good, and then from reserve you're flowing
- 35:27Speaker 4: down your opponent.
- 35:28Speaker 2: It still also lets you exhaust target carton reserve yep.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Good, good stats with a bonus ability that if you
- 35:37Speaker 3: don't use it. Yeah, it might be hard to pick
- 35:45Speaker 3: over some of the others that we've mentioned.
- 35:47Speaker 2: There's probably gonna be some uniques that say, when played
- 35:51Speaker 2: from hand or played from anywhere.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Gotti is cheaper than Kelvin. Yes, Kelvin was for costs.
- 36:02Speaker 2: All right, let's go into another man. Bravos is really
- 36:04Speaker 2: winning me over with some of these things that are
- 36:06Speaker 2: going on here. The Bravos Trailblazer. This guy has the sweetest,
- 36:12Speaker 2: sweetest pink beard I've ever seen in my life. Two
- 36:19Speaker 2: from hand to three from reserve two two two. If
- 36:21Speaker 2: you control a fleeting character, I gain one boost for
- 36:25Speaker 2: the rare sorry that's played from anywhere two three two
- 36:31Speaker 2: two two for the rare if I gain one boost
- 36:34Speaker 2: for each fleeting character you control, and the Lyra is identical.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Yep.
- 36:43Speaker 4: And keep in mind when you're playing it from reserve,
- 36:45Speaker 4: it will gain fleeting and then use its ability. Mm hm.
- 36:49Speaker 4: You are guaranteed to get a boost, and for the
- 36:51Speaker 4: rare it's another boost.
- 36:55Speaker 3: I like it.
- 36:58Speaker 4: Good stats for calls.
- 37:00Speaker 3: None of us, none of us took a screenshot of
- 37:04Speaker 3: the Sengar's unique art. It's very good.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna take your word on it. But because
- 37:14Speaker 2: it's not it's not in the list I'm looking at. Yeah.
- 37:17Speaker 3: No, none of the unique art is. But it was
- 37:19Speaker 3: on a stream, not ours.
- 37:23Speaker 2: We're not in the top sixty eight best altered podcasts
- 37:28Speaker 2: or content creators at all. But if you'd like to
- 37:31Speaker 2: make that happen, make sure that you'd like subscribe, you know,
- 37:33Speaker 2: do all the things.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Yeah, how do you feel about redheads?
- 37:38Speaker 2: How do I feel about red heads? I married one,
- 37:40Speaker 2: so god, I hope I like them. Well, then let's
- 37:45Speaker 2: the Bravos Rescuer three three from hand to three from
- 37:49Speaker 2: Reserve one four four. It's just got to quit and
- 37:53Speaker 2: there's no nothing, no no ability, but does have a
- 38:00Speaker 2: quick action target character loses fleeting. For the rare three
- 38:05Speaker 2: from hand three from Reserve one three three does have
- 38:09Speaker 2: the ability when played from anywhere, you may target any
- 38:12Speaker 2: you may target another fleeting character. It gains two boosts
- 38:17Speaker 2: quick action target character loses fleeting, and then it is
- 38:21Speaker 2: faction shifted into axiom, which is the same as the
- 38:28Speaker 2: common version.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Yeah, this one, I don't know. It's just good stats.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Again the rare I mean voices, but I mean it's
- 38:40Speaker 3: not a bad card.
- 38:41Speaker 4: I don't think, yeah, this one's fine.
- 38:43Speaker 2: You may target another fleeting care you may target another
- 38:46Speaker 2: fleeting character. It gains two boosts. I don't know if
- 38:49Speaker 2: it finds a home.
- 38:51Speaker 4: If you're doing a bravostick that's super fleeting centered and
- 38:54Speaker 4: like removing fleeting keeping stuff around with seasoned and stuff,
- 38:57Speaker 4: it could be fine. But there isn't a Bravos deck.
- 39:00Speaker 2: There is a lot of I've noticed kind of the theme.
- 39:04Speaker 2: If I'm fleeting, I get this mm hmm in Bravos
- 39:09Speaker 2: right now. I don't know if you've not. I don't
- 39:12Speaker 2: know if you've noticed it. So, I mean, definitely fire
- 39:18Speaker 2: Rabbit and a Bravos Rescuer could definitely be a fun thing.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Maybe not that one.
- 39:27Speaker 3: What I love this for is if you're playing Blade
- 39:31Speaker 3: Dancer and you're doing the type of deck that's boosting
- 39:34Speaker 3: up Blade Dancers very good. Your Blade Dancer, when you
- 39:39Speaker 3: play it from reserve, it's going to have however many
- 39:42Speaker 3: boosts you had before, it's going to gain another boost.
- 39:45Speaker 3: And then you can play this card uh and give
- 39:51Speaker 3: it to boosts, and then you play Helping Hand on
- 39:56Speaker 3: the Blade Dancer, which gives it a boost and then
- 40:00Speaker 3: it loses fleeting. Yep. So I will give a bounty
- 40:06Speaker 3: of a unique foiler to whoever shows me a blade
- 40:11Speaker 3: dancer and trial by frost over twenty stats verifiable though
- 40:18Speaker 3: no cheating, no cheating, no cheating. Also, we are twenty
- 40:26Speaker 3: five cards in. I think we're making pretty good time.
- 40:29Speaker 2: We're going to make a pretty good time.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Wanna give another shout out to a guy trying whose
- 40:35Speaker 3: list we are going through. It's usually the one I
- 40:39Speaker 3: check because it loads really quickly, nice updated. Well, so
- 40:44Speaker 3: go over to YouTube and look up a guy trying
- 40:48Speaker 3: and give him some love.
- 40:50Speaker 2: I'm going to do that right now. Oh guy, you're
- 40:53Speaker 2: listening to it in real time. It's riveting radio.
- 40:57Speaker 3: I know. Well, it's also in the credit section you
- 41:00Speaker 3: could have just clicked.
- 41:02Speaker 2: I am not in that section, choie, I'm not that
- 41:04Speaker 2: far down.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Okay, while you while you do that, I'll i'll give
- 41:08Speaker 3: your voice a break for a minute.
- 41:10Speaker 2: I'll give him a subscribe right now. Yeah, you want
- 41:12Speaker 2: to go over GARRICKT.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Yes, you have a duelist that guy three from hand
- 41:18Speaker 3: for from reserve is a three three three. When I
- 41:23Speaker 3: gain fleeting, I gain one boost. I can gain fleeting
- 41:29Speaker 3: even if I was already fleeting. Yes, so pretty pretty
- 41:34Speaker 3: interesting tech here. The Rare is interesting. It is the
- 41:42Speaker 3: same cost, same stats, but it says if I would
- 41:46Speaker 3: gain fleeting, I gain one boost instead, and then it
- 41:51Speaker 3: is faction shifted to lyra and it is the same
- 41:55Speaker 3: as the Rare. I think you just play Common on this, right, Like.
- 42:02Speaker 2: The commons seems better.
- 42:05Speaker 3: With with helping hand being a thing.
- 42:07Speaker 2: And I mean from reserve, he auto gains a boost
- 42:10Speaker 2: right and loses.
- 42:13Speaker 4: Yeah, the Rare would lose fleeting. The Common would keep fleeting.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true the rare.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Rare one stays around, right.
- 42:20Speaker 3: Yeah, the rare one does bounce, but I feel like
- 42:23Speaker 3: you're already doing that with a bunch of other cards
- 42:26Speaker 3: that maybe you just get Common.
- 42:27Speaker 4: Four for four stats is very men. The Common seems
- 42:33Speaker 4: better here that.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Yeah, one of my favorites is next, the olt, thet
- 42:43Speaker 2: the oklet. I don't know what an oklet is, but
- 42:45Speaker 2: it's this thing clearly. Four from hand, five from reserve,
- 42:49Speaker 2: three three five. When I gain one or more boost,
- 42:53Speaker 2: you may exhaust target card in reserve when played for Wow,
- 42:57Speaker 2: when played from reserve, I gain one boost. The rare
- 43:04Speaker 2: version is a four from hand four from reserve three
- 43:06Speaker 2: three four. When I gained one more boosts, you may
- 43:09Speaker 2: exhaust target card and reserve. When played from hand, it
- 43:13Speaker 2: gains one boost. Shifted into Muna and it is the
- 43:19Speaker 2: same as the common, right, yeah, same as the common.
- 43:23Speaker 4: Yep, the rare Muona is the same as the common.
- 43:25Speaker 4: I like this is this cool rare?
- 43:29Speaker 2: The rare is interesting, but I think the Commons better.
- 43:35Speaker 4: The rare is gain a boost from anywhere and makes
- 43:37Speaker 4: the reserve cost one list.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but you can boost this thing over and over
- 43:44Speaker 2: again and just tap down in their entire reserve. Yes,
- 43:48Speaker 2: and then when I play it from reserve automatically, I'm
- 43:52Speaker 2: tapping something. I think the Commons better. No, I think
- 43:56Speaker 2: the Rare is better.
- 44:04Speaker 3: I'm not commenting on the Bravos. I'll tell you. Since
- 44:07Speaker 3: it's faction shifted to Muna, this is a very good
- 44:11Speaker 3: card for a Tasia. If you play Muna, you know
- 44:16Speaker 3: that there is virtually no sabotage option in the faction.
- 44:21Speaker 3: This is a card that has pretty decent stats. We
- 44:26Speaker 3: are not unused to high cost cards, and it is
- 44:32Speaker 3: a form of sabotage, so I dig it and.
- 44:37Speaker 2: It can do it over and over again. It's not limited.
- 44:40Speaker 3: Yep, with an oga and a chiron.
- 44:43Speaker 2: I guess the rare is not either. I thought, yeah,
- 44:47Speaker 2: because that's all that's all the same, okay, fair enough.
- 44:52Speaker 2: I just like it because it's a little controlling.
- 44:55Speaker 3: It's also a lovely little animal creature.
- 44:58Speaker 4: Yeah, whatever that thing is, it's a very be the
- 45:00Speaker 4: animal creature.
- 45:01Speaker 3: It's like it's an orca mixed with a polar bear. Yeah.
- 45:06Speaker 2: That is not a bear of any stature. That is
- 45:09Speaker 2: a horse. I don't know what. I don't know what
- 45:13Speaker 2: bears look like in Texas, but in the rest of
- 45:15Speaker 2: the world, it ain't like.
- 45:16Speaker 4: Olar bears are very big and muscular animal.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Yes, but this is more of a horse.
- 45:23Speaker 4: Like a longer neck kind of thing.
- 45:25Speaker 3: So in Inuit folklore, oh my gosh, do I even
- 45:29Speaker 3: try to say this? The kachwan, hugot, kig ulu nick
- 45:34Speaker 3: or or aklut is an orca like composite animal that
- 45:38Speaker 3: takes the form of a wolf when on land, and
- 45:41Speaker 3: is sometimes depicted as a wolf orca hybrid.
- 45:44Speaker 2: So wolf wolf. Yes, as a big ass wolf.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Yeah, speaking of big ass.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Wolves, let's go to Amarok. It is a five from
- 45:56Speaker 2: hand five from reserve for three three. If there are
- 46:00Speaker 2: no characters in the expedition I'm played in I cost
- 46:03Speaker 2: two lass pretty dope. When another character joins my ex expedition,
- 46:10Speaker 2: sacrifice it. That's not cool. And it looks like it's
- 46:14Speaker 2: getting faction shifted into Yizmir. But don't know much about it.
- 46:20Speaker 2: It's just five five four three three.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Yeah, so this is definitely going to be a Lindaway card.
- 46:27Speaker 3: I would think it is probably just the same as
- 46:32Speaker 3: the common, but I guess we'll find out. But this
- 46:36Speaker 3: is still just a good card in general. If you're
- 46:39Speaker 3: playing it with nothing in your expedition A three cost
- 46:43Speaker 3: four to three three and you just play anything else
- 46:46Speaker 3: on the other side, it's pretty good.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Yeah, seems okay, yep, and.
- 46:54Speaker 3: Then lend Away will love it either way.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Yep. Let's move in to arrows seven seven, three six six.
- 47:05Speaker 2: When played from anywhere, you may immediately play a creature
- 47:08Speaker 2: for three or less. The rare version is seven from
- 47:12Speaker 2: hand seven from reserve three five five. You may immediately
- 47:18Speaker 2: play a character for three or less. I gained two
- 47:21Speaker 2: boosted shifted into Muna. I see Muna's favorite word. Seven
- 47:28Speaker 2: seven three five five. You may immediately play a character
- 47:31Speaker 2: for three or less. I gain. Oh, it gains. I
- 47:34Speaker 2: thought it's an I gains anchored. I was like, that's
- 47:36Speaker 2: poor English. Somebody didn't read this, but it gains anchored.
- 47:41Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not only character for three or less, it's
- 47:44Speaker 4: play a character for three less. Oh for three less
- 47:48Speaker 4: costs and make it just cost two.
- 47:50Speaker 2: My magic days are kicking in. My bad, My bad,
- 47:52Speaker 2: my bad.
- 47:53Speaker 4: Guys.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Yes, it is for it is for three less, not
- 47:55Speaker 2: three or less.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Yeah, this one is obviously out Saudi support. The fact
- 48:02Speaker 3: that it's play a character for three less means you
- 48:07Speaker 3: have to have ten mana.
- 48:09Speaker 2: So technically I wasn't wrong. You could play a three
- 48:12Speaker 2: creature for free, Dexter.
- 48:15Speaker 4: That is perfectly good, true.
- 48:17Speaker 2: And the game's anchored. Mm hmmm, sucking. I don't know.
- 48:22Speaker 2: I don't know if Muda has a lot of threes
- 48:24Speaker 2: they want anchored, but you know.
- 48:26Speaker 3: All love them, all of that, But I don't think
- 48:30Speaker 3: I ever get to ten ten Manna and Muna, so
- 48:33Speaker 3: you need to get to ten. Shut up, Dexter.
- 48:38Speaker 4: I play this on seven and then play another guy
- 48:41Speaker 4: for that costs three or less.
- 48:44Speaker 3: I'm just saying there's not anything that makes it worth it.
- 48:49Speaker 2: It's a little bit. It's a little pricey.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Okay, when was the last time you played Muna?
- 48:56Speaker 4: Maybe like a month ago?
- 48:59Speaker 3: I so, I mean, maybe we'll break it down another time,
- 49:04Speaker 3: but there I just don't think.
- 49:05Speaker 2: I love how our Star Trek memes have like kind
- 49:08Speaker 2: of rolled into each other where you're just like, shut up.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Dexter brought me the flashbacks of shut up Leslie.
- 49:13Speaker 3: It's only because he plays ortists all the time.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Yeah, nobody really likes Dexter anyways. The geyser, it's a spell.
- 49:25Speaker 2: Four from hand, four from reserve, return target character or
- 49:29Speaker 2: permanent to its owner's hand. Then put me in your
- 49:32Speaker 2: mana orbs. Ooh, that sounds spicy. The rare is four
- 49:37Speaker 2: from hand, three from reserve, return target character or permanent
- 49:42Speaker 2: to its owner's hand. Then you may put me in
- 49:45Speaker 2: your mana ORBS and then shifted into ortis the smike.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Get out of hand, return target creature or permanent to
- 49:55Speaker 2: its owner's hand. Then put me in your mana ORBS.
- 49:58Speaker 2: So a little bit of ramp.
- 50:00Speaker 4: This is very good for gul ring, gives them some options.
- 50:04Speaker 3: This is disgusting that it's in.
- 50:06Speaker 4: This is very very strong.
- 50:08Speaker 3: This should not be an artists. This should be in Muna.
- 50:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I do not run this in Warror though, I mean,
- 50:14Speaker 4: I don't know too much.
- 50:15Speaker 2: I don't know if I I don't know if I
- 50:17Speaker 2: necessarily dis agree that it should be in Muna.
- 50:22Speaker 3: It's just, yeah, it's a very very good card because
- 50:29Speaker 3: it has no limitations, doesn't have a character cost limitation,
- 50:33Speaker 3: none of that. And it's ramp. Obviously it's support for
- 50:37Speaker 3: Saudi and gul Ring. But the fact that it's in
- 50:41Speaker 3: ortis it's scary. Uh. I think the fact that they
- 50:47Speaker 3: already have you know, mark training stick, you know, all
- 50:53Speaker 3: of that. Maybe we don't see it in Waru and Siggy.
- 50:56Speaker 3: But yeah, I agree Dooombringer. I thought this would be
- 51:03Speaker 3: amazing for Muna. The only thing we have access to
- 51:06Speaker 3: that gets rid of permanence is cloth cocoon.
- 51:10Speaker 2: Which is the best thing to get rid of anything with.
- 51:14Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's this is that plus ramp for one,
- 51:21Speaker 3: You're not wrong.
- 51:22Speaker 2: I can't disagree. Yeah.
- 51:24Speaker 4: I really like the rare too because you can play
- 51:27Speaker 4: it twice and then it still goes into your man
- 51:30Speaker 4: or but afterwards.
- 51:31Speaker 3: Yeah, but speaking of manna, the next card is interesting
- 51:36Speaker 3: and it's a man. You're like, are very split on
- 51:41Speaker 3: this card.
- 51:44Speaker 2: It is a man of player four from hand for
- 51:46Speaker 2: from reserve fleeting. Immediately play a character for five less.
- 51:51Speaker 2: It gains fleeting. The rare is a four from hand
- 51:56Speaker 2: four from reserve fleeting. Immediately play a character for five less.
- 52:04Speaker 2: I'm confused, man.
- 52:06Speaker 4: It just doesn't gain fleeting.
- 52:08Speaker 2: Oh it doesn't. Oh okay, it doesn't gain fleeting. I
- 52:11Speaker 2: was like, what's the difference. And then it is shifted
- 52:15Speaker 2: into Yazmir fleeting. Immediately play a play a spell for
- 52:22Speaker 2: five less.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Burn it, burn it, get rid of it, take it
- 52:27Speaker 3: out of Yazimir. I don't want it.
- 52:29Speaker 2: What is yer looking at for five five less? That's
- 52:32Speaker 2: like you're so afraid.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Of It's the Kesha deck. It's the worst deck you'll
- 52:38Speaker 3: ever think. I hope you never have to come across it.
- 52:42Speaker 4: I don't think we see this in Akisha.
- 52:45Speaker 3: It'll be the same people that play that deck will
- 52:48Speaker 3: start playing this in it.
- 52:51Speaker 4: Why it just gives it lets you play, I don't know,
- 52:54Speaker 4: because earlier, when they were young, you get down on
- 53:01Speaker 4: card advantage.
- 53:03Speaker 3: Why why does someone come to a tournament with that
- 53:05Speaker 3: deck and they are just like, I want the tournament
- 53:09Speaker 3: to be ten minutes longer every round? Why why why
- 53:12Speaker 3: did they do these things?
- 53:13Speaker 2: Love them when they were young?
- 53:17Speaker 3: Anyways, I think it's an interesting.
- 53:20Speaker 4: Card, I think, I think because it gives it fleeting.
- 53:27Speaker 4: And if you just like stack all the effects that
- 53:29Speaker 4: like gives it fleeting and gets bonuses, then maniflair gives
- 53:33Speaker 4: it fleeting, isn't even a negative. Really?
- 53:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's cool. Interesting.
- 53:41Speaker 2: It is an interesting tech piece. Maybe there will be
- 53:45Speaker 2: some other yizmeer things that you can be afraid of
- 53:49Speaker 2: later on down the road, once we get there. Technical boots,
- 53:56Speaker 2: this is an expedition permanent for one from hand, one
- 53:59Speaker 2: from reserve. When my expedition moves forward, target character in
- 54:05Speaker 2: my expedition loses fleeting. The rare version is one from hand,
- 54:10Speaker 2: two from reserve. When played from reserve resupply when my
- 54:15Speaker 2: expedition moves forward, target character in my expedition loses fleeting,
- 54:20Speaker 2: and then it is shifted into axiom where it is
- 54:23Speaker 2: the same as the.
- 54:25Speaker 3: Rare Yep, this one's am I just.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Now noticing this. Sorry, you know there's little things on
- 54:36Speaker 2: cards that like, I don't know. I I look so
- 54:41Speaker 2: hard at cards sometimes right and their arts and their
- 54:44Speaker 2: flavor text I never absolutely ever it took me. Let's see,
- 54:50Speaker 2: I don't remember when did we start, really, when did
- 54:52Speaker 2: I start? Okay, I'm trying to think of, like how
- 54:54Speaker 2: many months. It's probably been six months. I never noticed that,
- 54:57Speaker 2: like the rare border are all different for each faction,
- 55:04Speaker 2: like textbox. Yeah, the textbox so like you know, Bravos
- 55:08Speaker 2: has the flames, Axiom has gears. I don't know what
- 55:12Speaker 2: Lyra has. And then it's like real I use me.
- 55:18Speaker 2: I'm not sure if that's supposed to be like cauldron
- 55:21Speaker 2: smoke ortis. I don't even know what that is.
- 55:25Speaker 3: It's like a pylon. It's like something like that in concrete.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Yeah, some something.
- 55:29Speaker 4: Not really all cards have them, though, it's just the
- 55:32Speaker 4: spells and permanence, right.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Okay, all of them. Oh yeah, no, you're right. The
- 55:38Speaker 2: characters do not have it.
- 55:40Speaker 3: They have the little symbol in the middle of.
- 55:43Speaker 2: The box that I noticed, but I played I played
- 55:47Speaker 2: key Fords for four years before I noticed that in
- 55:50Speaker 2: behind of every textbox there was a watermark of the
- 55:52Speaker 2: house that they were in.
- 55:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:56Speaker 3: Uh, while you're talking about these textboxes, there are some
- 56:03Speaker 3: questions about the textboxes in trial by Frost. Veteran players
- 56:10Speaker 3: and people that are you know, more used to TCGs
- 56:13Speaker 3: and maybe even playing Altered a lot already might not
- 56:18Speaker 3: enjoy some of the extra explainers on like the landmark permanence.
- 56:25Speaker 3: It is, from my understanding, a part of direct feedback
- 56:32Speaker 3: and just clarity. And that's something that I always appreciate
- 56:36Speaker 3: about Altered. And I always.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Say, are you talking about the where it's got the
- 56:39Speaker 2: little wrench play me an expedition. If it moves for it,
- 56:42Speaker 2: I go to it. I don't think there's anything wrong
- 56:43Speaker 2: with that.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Yeah. And on the some of the landmark permanence it
- 56:47Speaker 3: says I don't gain fleeting and whatnot, and it's there's
- 56:53Speaker 3: like some common sense things. But it's just like I
- 56:57Speaker 3: always say, I think Altered is the only card game
- 57:00Speaker 3: I've played where reading the card does explain the card
- 57:05Speaker 3: thus far.
- 57:06Speaker 2: I mean, we're only two sets in give it time, uh,
- 57:09Speaker 2: you know. But yeah, back to the technical boots.
- 57:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I was just gonna say, this is just kind
- 57:18Speaker 3: of a no brainer in that Bravos deck we've been
- 57:21Speaker 3: talking about with the site using a fleeting, Yeah, and
- 57:26Speaker 3: it's one cost, it's a permanent and gear is really
- 57:30Speaker 3: nice where it just stays there until your expedition moves.
- 57:35Speaker 3: So if it doesn't move, it's still there. It's just
- 57:38Speaker 3: hanging out when it's you know ready.
- 57:42Speaker 2: I don't appreciate the art for this card. I like
- 57:46Speaker 2: the common, but then the rare turns into instead of boots,
- 57:50Speaker 2: they're more like skates.
- 57:54Speaker 3: You don't. You don't like some flaming skates.
- 57:57Speaker 2: I mean kind of an oxymoron, don't you think? Fair enough?
- 58:06Speaker 2: Let's move into blue milk or a colon milk either
- 58:10Speaker 2: one one from hand, one from reserve. It is an
- 58:14Speaker 2: expedition permanent gear. When a character joins my expedition, it
- 58:18Speaker 2: gains one boost and fleeting for the rare its two
- 58:22Speaker 2: from hand, two from reserve. When a character joins my expedition,
- 58:26Speaker 2: it gains two boosts and axiom gets the common version
- 58:30Speaker 2: for fun.
- 58:33Speaker 4: This is really good in axiom.
- 58:36Speaker 3: To me, this is just another good one. It's low cost.
- 58:39Speaker 3: Like I said, you just stick it there if you
- 58:42Speaker 3: want it. It gives boosts. You can remove fleeting other ways.
- 58:47Speaker 3: Some things you don't care if it gets fleeting. Yeah,
- 58:51Speaker 3: it's just it's just good. Okay, what do you think
- 58:58Speaker 3: the milk is blue?
- 59:00Speaker 2: You maybe color.
- 59:01Speaker 3: Do you think it is? I don't know.
- 59:02Speaker 2: My assumption would be like fire, not even actual milk.
- 59:06Speaker 2: It's just you open and it just bursts flames there
- 59:09Speaker 2: you go, you know, like like it looks like those
- 59:12Speaker 2: milk cartons we used to get in school, right, and
- 59:15Speaker 2: like you have to open it from the side, and
- 59:17Speaker 2: as soon as you open it, like it just was
- 59:18Speaker 2: like just burst flames at you. Yeah, it's like real
- 59:23Speaker 2: quick and then you can drink the milk.
- 59:26Speaker 3: Do you see who uh is on?
- 59:28Speaker 2: I see something on it, but I can't like it
- 59:32Speaker 2: is zoom in more. I'm already like really zoomed in.
- 59:38Speaker 2: Is that is that fire dog? That is fire wearing sunglasses?
- 59:43Speaker 3: That is it is a emo? From the servery, It's.
- 59:48Speaker 2: Like, oh, it's an emo. I was like, that's a
- 59:49Speaker 2: little cheevy fire dog with the sunglasses. It's glasses Buddha,
- 59:54Speaker 2: Glasses Buddha. I'm glad he has a name. Let's go
- 59:58Speaker 2: into possibly my favorite card from all the spoilers. Yep,
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: it's the Eat Me Energy bars. You guys remember the
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: old school Pixar movies. Dexter you won't remember this, but
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Cole you might. I don't know how old you are.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: But the old school Pixar movies were like there were
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: jokes in there for adults and kids. Like the kids
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: were like, hah, that's funny, but then like all of
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: a sudden, you'd be like, oh man, that's funny too,
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: and you got it as the adult. That's the eat
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: me energy bar three from hand three from reserve. It
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: is an expedition permanent. If there is only one character
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: in my expedition, it is gigantic. The rare is two
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: from hand two from reserve. If played from hand, I
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: gained fleeting. If there is only one character in my expedition,
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: it is gigantic. Lyra for some reason gets this Why not,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: because of course they do, and it is the same
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: as the rarey.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: This card is great. This card is going to cause
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: a lot of problems. Has caused questions in judge discords
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: and the main discord.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: But I questions.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: So there's a card called Sakabaru, right yeah, where when
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: you play it, it moves your opponent's expedition that it's
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: in back one. If you have an energy bar and
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: you play it, it moves both expeditions back. So the
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: question was does it really do that? And the answer
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: is yes, great. Yeah. So also I just I love
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: the art of this bar. It is very good and
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: I definitely do want to eat it.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yep, maybe that could be a fun little thing
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: that they could have at they're like big events, like
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: they eat me energy bar may pick one up? Right?
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: What a what a good idea?
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: What a novel concept? I have?
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: My wonder is this gonna be one of those?
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: Is this gonna be one of those things where, like
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: the things Wikie says, somebody has already thought of, so
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: it's already and then later on, later on I could
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: be like, see, I listen to this show and are
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: taking all my ideas.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: I'll just say no comment and move on.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: To Coole Knows Things Ice Bound, p. Three from hand
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: three from Reserve. It is a landmark, permanent? What a
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: character you control? Games fleeting, I gain a trial counter
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: on my third trial counter, you get to you get
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: to sack it. If you do see it. When I
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: gained my third trial counter, sacrifice me if you is
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: there E Is there ever a scenario where I'm not
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: sacrificing this when I get the third trial counter. That's
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: a question for a different day. If you do create
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: a dragon shade five five five illusion token in Target Expedition,
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: and then each character you control gains one boost. The
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: rare is a two to two, and I believe it
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: is the same thing.
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: Oh, I think it could be possible if it gains
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: its third trial counter and it's destroyed by some other effect,
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: then it wouldn't be still available to be sacrificed.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: All right, Well it's a two to two. It's the
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: same thing, but it is one cheaper, and then it
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: is shifted into axiom and it is three from hand
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: two from reserve. Explain that to me. Okay, So, because
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: the way I read this all.
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: Makes one of your cards gain fleeting and destroys your
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: landmark at the same time, it'll gain the third trial counter,
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: but when you try to sacrifice it, it will already
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: be destroyed, so you couldn't do so.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: So if it gets boomed before it can action the
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: trial counters, it will not create the dragon.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Is there a card out there booms and would do
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: that all the same action.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: We're we're all talking uniques here, Okay.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: I was like, I don't know a card that exists
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: in such a fashion that would do that and make
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: it go boom. I do not think there is one,
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: but I just found that weird the way it's phrased.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: When I gain it sacket. If I do sack it,
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: then I get the shade.
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: I don't know this one is going into doom Bringers
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: ice Bound Deck, but yeah, it's cool. I like the
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: iceban Star is nice. We're at thirty four cards and
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: heading into Wookie's faction. We just want to keep on.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: Rolling lyra and we come into some of my favorite cards.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Come into the Snowmen. They're two two's zero three three.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: Unless I'm water, I gain fleeting. The rare is a
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: two to two for two three three same thing. Unless
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: I'm in water, I gain fleeting. But as a quick
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: action you can exhausted resupply and then it gets shifted.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: The rare version gets shifted into Bravos for some reason.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Not really sure why Bravos would have Snowmen at all,
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: but hey, this is where we live.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: Everyone is venturing out into the mountain, and I guess
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: they provided the snowman, maybe some milk or something.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: And you know, is he like ol Off, Like he
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: doesn't know he's a snowman, so he wants to get
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: the warmth maybe maybe I don't know what this replaces
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: in Laira though.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: The rare I think is a really hard choice for either.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Because it's really good stats.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it's really good for a rock, is what it is. Yeah,
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: I definitely give this a shot in rock. But in
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: common the rare does not have a zero. It doesn't
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: have that good of a benefit.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Why is this good for rock?
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: So how arac works is every time you play a
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: character that has at least one.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Zero Yeah, performance counters, and that would be the common Snowman.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: But I think that rare is significantly I mean, the
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: rare is better obviously, right, I guess.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: Is better stats wise than it does have a support
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: ability right, support ability? Yes, And I don't think Fenn
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: or Novenka play this. I mean maybe Novenka just because
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: it's just tough.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: I mean it's really good stats. I just don't know
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: what it replaces. Yeah, let's go to the snowball Commando.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: Only in Lyra does snowballs have faces two from hand,
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: two from reserve, zero three two. When played from hand,
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: you may exhaust target card and opponents reserve, then roll
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: a die. Oh my favorite when you roll a one
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: through three This way, the opponent targets a card in
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: your reserve, exhaust it. For the rare two from hand,
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: two from reserve two three to two. When played from hand,
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: you may exhaust target card an opponent's reserve roll the dice.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: When you roll one through three. This way, your opponent
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: targets a card in your reserve and exhaust it gets shifted.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: The common version gets shifted into ismir yep.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: Yes, before you say anything, I just want you to
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: close your eyes and imagine. Imagine you're throwing a snowball
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: at someone. What happens to you immediately after.
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: They throw it back?
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: There you go, that's this card.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Yeah, what goes around comes around. It's right there in
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: the flavor text.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: Yeah. I feel like there are some cards that people
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: will look at just mechanically and be like, what the hell.
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: But if you look at it from a design standpoint
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: of the feeling of you know, being in the cold
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: or being in a snowball fight, there's a couple of
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: cards that specifically give you that feeling and it's super cool.
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: But also if you just roll above a three, you're fine.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: So yeah, it's a very fun card.
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: Or you could play this and make sure you play
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: it when you have nothing in reserve that you care about.
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: That so it doesn't have a negative effect on you.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that seems like pie in the sky's on. I'm
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: not gonna lie to you. That sounds like magic Christmas
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Land that doesn't exist in this game.
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: But another great ROC card, a good an event card
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: once again.
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: Probably don't play it in finn.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: I don't know if you play it in Avenka once again.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Just a good common if you want good stats, Yeah, good,
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: I mean good stats on the rare end.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: Again. I just don't know what it replaces right now. Yep,
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Naiyalla gifted Conjurer three from hand three from reserve three
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: three zero. Well, you weren't kidding. Arak is getting some
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: uh is definitely getting some support. When played from anywhere,
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: exchange target card from your reserve with a card in
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: your hand. Okay, that's it's a fen love right there,
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: kind of three from hand three from reserve for the
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: rare three three zero when played from hand exhausted resupply
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: when played from anywhere, exchange target card from your reserve
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: from a card with your hand. And then again Yuzmir
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: getting uh getting the common version.
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: It's it is of age, so that makes sense.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: It does well and the ability is very a funnest coded. Yes, yeah,
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: this is a great card. I think this is a
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: ton of fun in our rock. I think Fenn there's
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: some builds that they can see play.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: Had guards have seen for Finn that say like when
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: a card enters or leaves your reserve, do something. This
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: would make two of those trigger like a people interaction.
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: And this is another card that has very good art
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: and I think portal I don't, I can't. I can't
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: tell what it changes to on the rare. Is it
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: spindles maybe? But the common is the bunny that we
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: see on off.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: You go Okay, I was like, not the fire rabbit.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: Weird that Heimdall is going into lyra before from hand
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: four from reserve for a four four four. When played
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: from hand, you may target have target characters switch expeditions
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: for the rare four from hand for from reserve five
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: zero five. When played from hand you may have target
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: character or expedition permanent switch expeditions and then Ortis is
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: Ortis is getting the common version.
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: Yeah, this is like a ride the bifrost or hooked.
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: I think the rare is actually a lot of fun
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: in a rock and I could see some cool playing
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: around with, like moving people's gear to stop from them
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: setting it up or make it, sell it.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: Or make it up gear. So you know, if you're
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: if it.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: Might actually be viable, that's crazy the amount.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: Okay, you know what you guys, It's like you ever
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: listened to me?
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: No, no, I want you all to go back to
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: episodes right now. I just didn't you said what what?
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: What one did I think? And I'm like, man, you
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: keep dropping these irak hints. I'm thinking that it's going
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: to be our That's not what I said. And I'm like, well,
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: but you keep kind of saying it.
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: Well. Everyone ever, whenever I mentioned that Trial by Frost
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: is the set that is designed to give support to
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: heroes who didn't have it before, everyone's like, oh, that's
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: not true. They didn't say that, and I'm like, oh,
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: they kind of did. And it's kind of proving itself
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: through every time. So throw me in the looney bin
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: and I'll still be right.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: I just wonder how many times like because there is
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: I mean, some of it's cheap, like the Snowball's cheap,
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: the Snowman's cheap you're probably playing a NANSI. I don't
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: know if he does. He count as zero into play
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: because he gains boost, so that would trick our rock.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: It would trigger Iraq's ability.
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: It would have to be the rare ms. But yes,
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: only one.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: Though the triple zeros doesn't give you three counters.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: It doesn't give me three, right, but it does give
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: me at least one, right.
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: Yes, it gives you one.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: Wait if are triggers multiple times A characters that have
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: multiple zeros? No, no, just the ones?
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I thought. Yes, who said that? Was
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: that dexter that said that, You're like now You're like,
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: I'm like, man, have I been thinking about.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: This all wrong? No?
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: I said that it does not right, Okay, I never
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: thought of that. I was like, wait, if I play
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: multiple zeros anyway? Santa Claus five power five power five
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: from hand five from reserve zero five to five. When
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: you play from hand starting with you, each player may
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: immediately play a card with hand costs three or less
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: for free. This seems like a trick. The rare is
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: a four from hand four from reserve zero four to four.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: When played from hand you starting with you, each player
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: may immediately play card with from hand for three or
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: less for free, and then it goes into Muna the
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: common the common version.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: Yes, sorry, this is super fun. Shenanigans can happen.
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: It's fun.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: If this if this game had like a Commander's style
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: multiplayer type deal, I know there is a multiplayer where
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: it's the X track or whatever, this could get kind
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: of fun.
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: Yeah, Santa is definitely a ton of fun in multiplayer.
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: There's a lot of strategy that can be had, like
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: if the your opponent has no cards in hand.
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: You're going to get the benefit there not.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: Why is Santa's reindeer just it's not It's just like, okay,
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: so it's not even a deer. It's just a mount I.
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: Don't I don't think it's mounted. That's what a lot
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: of people.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: I mean, that is one thousand mounted.
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: That is definitely.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: I live in Wisconsin, I've done a lot of hunting.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: I know what amounted deer looks like. That's it.
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: So you could you could be right, but I will
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: just bring your attention what happened. Bring your attention to
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: traced and rossam. I think this might be a similar
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: construct this is.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: Just how deer look.
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: No, so, uh you animatronic deer slave?
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it could be something like that. The
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: sleigh has hasn't Oh no, the sleigh hasn't been revealed,
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: has it. I don't think it has yet.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: Joy right, I don't know.
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: To me, it looks like a like Axiom style creation,
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: like it's not a real dear, It's like a robot
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: of some sort.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: But and for whatever reason, Santa has a giant gold chain.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, his freaking arms like flowing with tumult like
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: power or whatever he is.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: I don't know if is he supposed to be swell?
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I guess right, yeah? Yeah, yeah yeah not crazy?
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: All right, yeah, I do. I do dig the art.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: This art was kind of like leaked a long time ago,
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: but it seemed fun. Uh slight of hand one from hand,
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: one from reserve, cool down. If I go to reserve
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: after my effects resolves, exhausted me, exhausted cards can be
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: played and have no supportability. I'm sorry. Exhausted cards can't
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: be played and have no supportabilities. Exchange target character in
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: your reserve with a card from your hand. The rare
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: is a one from hand one from reserve cool down.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: If I go to reserve after my effects resolve, exhaust
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: me exhausted. Exchange target card in your reserve with a
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: card from your hand target card. Oh, that's target character
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: for character. And then Yazmir gets one as well, but
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: it changes again.
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: No, it's the same as Rare.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Nope, it is target spell in your card in your hand.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: You know Yazmir is all about them spells.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: This is pretty similar to that other card than Nyala
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: Gifted conjuror swapping stuff around.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: You know how both Yazm and Lyra like kind of pushing,
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: pushing paper to different stacks.
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: Yep. I love this card. It's more cycling.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: I think this will fight. This will definitely find homes
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: and both decks I would assume.
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: Yep, because I usually play Hathor and uh ink Castor,
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: and this is one where you are not sacrificing a
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: character to do it. It's just a spell. Yeah, it's dope,
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: and it's only one one man.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: And it's cheap. We like cheap, all right. Joy Ride
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: one from hand one from reserve also has cool down discard.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: I guess they just wanted to slow this down. Huh.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: I guess this. Couldn't Mike get out of Both of
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: these might get out of hand if unchecked a little bit.
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: But discard another card from your reserve. If you do,
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: target character gains two boost. The rare is one and
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: one no cool down. Discard another card from your hand.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Just card another card from your reserve. If
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: you do target character gains two boost, and then the
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: common version goes to Yazmir.
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: Why do you say another? What?
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: Why there's another?
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: So since these are very early cards, there are actually
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: some typos and translation errors.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: Look at this. Look at the rare reindeer. Though they
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: look just.
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: Menacing, they're freaking They got grills.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Is that what are grills?
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: Yeah? I think so, because I think there's a gold
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: tooth at the back.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: They were angry. Oh yeah.
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: There's also a grammatical error in the flavor text. But
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: those are things that I believe are going to be
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: fixed for full release.
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: Everything fun in life is either forbidden or completely crazy.
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: You missed the inn it says is instead of in.
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: Yep, everything fun is my life.
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: I just fixed it all on my own. You are correct, Yep.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: All right, let's move into silent night one from hand
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: to one from reserve fleeting target character. Targeted character, then
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: roll a die on a four plus. It gains anchored
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: on a one through three gains of sleep. Or the
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: rare version two from hand two from reserve fleeting, roll
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: a dye then targeted character on a four plus. It
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: gains anchored on a one through three gains of sleep.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: And now ortis also has the ability to use this card.
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and they get the rare version.
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: Yeah, they get the rare version. Yeah, welcome to rolling
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: dice artists.
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: Rare. The rare is very good, yes, and I like it.
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: I think I run that Silent Night, maybe do some
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: experimenting with that.
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: I have a feeling you definitely will be.
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: The art is also very good, very whimsical.
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yeah, I don't think there's any experimenting. I
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: think you run this card now.
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: It is a rare. I have very limited rare slots
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: in Waru.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: This is true. Waru doesn't have very many rare slots,
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: but wow, I think you might find a few. That's
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: just it seems really good. Rolling a die and then
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: you're either putting something to sleep or anchoring it.
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: There's some other rares in Trial by Frost that I
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: also really want to use and I already have no slots.
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: This is true, This is true, all right, break the
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: ice four from hand for from reserve. Fleeting I cost
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: two less if you have three or more base statistics
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: of zero among characters you control, sent target character to
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: reserve than exhaust it. Okay, rare version four from hand
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: four from reserve. It does have a cool down, so
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: again it goes to reserve. Exhausted. It costs two less
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: if you have three or more base stats of zero
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: among characters you control and cen target character to reserve,
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: then exhaust it. And artists gets artists is very different,
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: So fleeting it costs two less if you control three
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: or more characters centiget character to reserve than exhaust it.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: I do like when when the faction shifted one is
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: very different from all the others. I don't know why,
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: but I do dig that.
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: Yeah it's cool, man.
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: I'm a little torn on this card. I kind of
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: like it.
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: I think the common you definitely run, but the rares
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: I don't think are worth it.
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: You hate what.
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: That the fact that you're like debating if you use
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: it or not because artists got it again, and it's
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: so easy for them to use, especially.
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: Is significantly easier to use a weaker.
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: I guess it's about the same as teamwork training, but
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: it's a rare.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: That is the problem for artists where I think.
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: I think what I do right now is probably run
- 1:23:23Speaker 4: two of these and two key long bursts, because right
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: now I have three keylon bursts.
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: Yeah I have.
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: I have beef with Charles, So if I meet Charles,
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to be like bro, Come on, artists,
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: does not need more removal? Please stop.
- 1:23:39Speaker 4: Who's Charles?
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: He's the leads that he's in there by for us.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: He's in charge.
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: Charles in charge.
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: Yes, all your homework tonight is to go Google. Go
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: Google Charles in charge. All right. I believe we went
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: through the winter outfits before. I'm sorry, I'm not going
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: to go through them again. It does get faction shifted
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: into Muna. Which version is it? It is the rare version.
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: It's good.
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: It's good in Muna. I play it.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: Yeah, well I think it's I think it's good in
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: Lyra too. But and then we finally get to the
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: ice bound tundra three from hand three from reserve. It
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: is a permanent landmark of the landmark variety. When you
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: play a character, there is so much text on these cards.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: It is like reading you're right. That is the only
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: thing I will ever say about altered cards. It just
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: seems like they're some cards their text. Some cards are like, yeah, whatever,
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: that's pretty normal, and then some it's like it is
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: like reading a small novel. All right, but yes, ice
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: bound tundra. When you play a character in a region
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: type where it's base statistic as zero, it gains a
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: trial counter and then you can create dragons. Dragons from
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: there on in the rare is just too cheap. It's
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: just one cheaper, same idea. And then theed is faction
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: shifted into.
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: Yep, so along the same.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: Is next set dragons. Is that kind of what I'm
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: feeling here?
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: Uh so the implied the sky We're going to a
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: mountain in a frozen tundra to see what is frozen there,
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: and the.
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: It is is that where dragons live mountains.
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: There is a dragon frozen in the ice that are
- 1:25:50Speaker 3: going to get out.
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: Okay, we got it. We gotta get them, gotta get them,
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: all right, We're going into the faction. I know, literally
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: the least amount even otage. Isn't it mona good thing
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: we have? Cole? Yeah, yeah, y'all, all right, should we
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: start with the snoozer shroom? I think we should because
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: I like them. Yeah yeah, two power up two power
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: two from hand two from reserve three zero two. All
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: it has is a quick action of target character you
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: control with hand, cost four or less gains of sleep.
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: The rare version is two from hand two from reserve
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: three zero two. When you play it from hand, you
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: may pay two if you do target character in the
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: expedition facing me. Gains of sleep has the same quick action.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: And then for whatever reason, ortis needs more cards to
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: put things.
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think I liked this, so yep.
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: No, the rare is not something I consider playing, which
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: is what gets shifted into artists. And also if it
- 1:26:58Speaker 3: is shifted, it's always a rare. But the common absolutely great. Yeah,
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: Common is a high contender. Muna is starved for costs
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: under three that have good stats. I think this literally
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: might be the first two costs that has like above
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: a three total instats and the support ability is a
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: very good backup or alo or you know, daughters. Maybe
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: for all sorts of stuff if you already know matters. Yeah,
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: if you already shrooms. Even if you know you're not
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: gonna win and you can't anchor for some reason, boom,
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: put it to sleep. It'll come back next round. Yeah.
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: Or it's a good finisher instead of beauty sleep.
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: It's target character you control bylide. Yeah, but yes, yeah, no,
- 1:27:54Speaker 3: the comment is very good.
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: All right. Thing Next up is Jack Frost two from
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: hand too from reserve two and two. When played from hand,
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: you may exhaust target card in reserve. The rare is
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: same stats you may exhaust target character or target card
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: in reserve. Wow. But that's played from anywhere, and then
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: Ortist gets it too. I don't know. I don't know
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: why Ortist gets Jack Frost. A lot of mage is
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: an artists.
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: Who knows they need help somehow.
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: I guess not enough diversity. It's part of the diversity
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: initiative in artists, That's what it is.
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: Because that is a weird card to be an artist.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: Ortis is also getting there is also getting a plant too.
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: They're just throwing everything at Ortis.
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: I like this one. Honestly, I might find a case
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: for the rare because, as we've mentioned before, Luna does
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: not have sabotage. This is a pseudo style of sabotage.
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: It's another low cost card for good.
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: Stats, and I said, not terrible stats.
- 1:29:13Speaker 3: Yeah, it's more likely to play the common, but I
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: cannot discount the ability to exhaust market card from anywhere.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: So Persephone two from hand two from reserve three to oh,
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: my region is forest in addition to its other types.
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: The Rare is a three from hand two from reserve.
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: My region and the region of the expedition facing me
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: are forests in addition to its other types. And Lyra
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: is getting the rare version of this to never be played.
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: Yeah, hard case for Lyra probably, but.
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I will not play this, but Muna probably will
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: find a home for it somewhere.
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: This is a instant addition to almost any Muna deck, honestly,
- 1:30:13Speaker 3: and whether you play Rare or Common depends on if
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: you are running some of the cards that we'll talk
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: about down below. So I like it. It's a good card,
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: school card. Persephone's cool art is cool. And when the
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: other cards are mentioned, I will the puzzle pieces together
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: for y'all.
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm I'm already. I I scrolled down. Ever so
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: slightly and started seeing them. But we got to get
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: into the rapotter hotter. Some of these cards are great.
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: Reporter.
- 1:30:52Speaker 3: It's a reporter.
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: Things. Yes, thanks, thanks, you go to college, huh they
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: let you in. Okay, three from hand three from reserve
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: zero four to four. When played from anywhere, each player
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: may put a card from their hand in their reserve.
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: For the rare it is a three from hand three
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: from reserve zero four to four. Each player. I'm sorry, yeah,
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: each player may put a card from their hand into
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: reserve to draw a card. I don't know how I
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: feel about that one. And then axiom is getting the
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: In the common version.
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: This is a This is a classic mona very type deal.
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: I don't know if I like it.
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: Yeah, very about everyone. A lot of our beneficial cards
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: give the opponent of benefit. I don't know if I
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: play it.
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: I don't think because if it read, each player may
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: put it. You may draw a car.
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: Don't you call my son garbage?
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like it just because it's it's given
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: your opponent more answers.
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't want to let my opponent do stuff.
- 1:32:14Speaker 3: Well, you know what, Moon is used to it, and
- 1:32:16Speaker 3: we are better than everyone, so deal with it.
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: Oh all right, skosky a sly naturalists three from hand
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: three from reserve two to two. You may put target
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: played from anywhere. Sorry, you may put. You may target
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: another character in forest gains two boosts. The rare is
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: three from hand three for reserve from A one one
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: one target any number of other characters in forest, they
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: gain two boosts any number you say, And then bravos
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: is getting the the common version.
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: I yep, okay ah, I could see play if you
- 1:33:07Speaker 4: boost some anchored people, just anchored guys on.
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: Your snoozers room up there, like I don't know, I know.
- 1:33:14Speaker 4: It has to be in grass, which is why you
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: would want to perse And.
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: I get the following following the bouncing ball. But if
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: you had a lot of like small stuff, you could
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: make a case for the rare version.
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: Yeah, this is this is not the card I was
- 1:33:31Speaker 3: mentioning this card.
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: No, no, there's there's more coming, there's more common stay
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: tuned this one.
- 1:33:38Speaker 3: This one I pass on, uh, just based on I
- 1:33:42Speaker 3: already have too many three cost cards.
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: So next next to the We don't know much about
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: the yetti except it says spoilers.
- 1:33:53Speaker 3: I will tell you that I am going to.
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: Play it well right, care to tell us what it does?
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: Oh, I don't think I can.
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: Fair enough, we'll move into the mighty SYMBI fur from
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: hand for from reserve four four. When my expedition moves
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: forward due to forest, you may sacrifice me to draw card.
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: That seems it was lesser costed. The rare is four
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: from hand for from reserve for three oh four. When
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: my expedition moves forward due to forest, you may put
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: me in my owner's mana zone and then uh, bravos
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: is getting the rare version.
- 1:34:40Speaker 3: Yeah, this one is very obviously direct written support. I
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: think WRIN does play it, probably the rare if you're
- 1:34:50Speaker 3: going for like a RIN ramp, but I prefer tiny gin.
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: If this one was less costed, this would be pretty
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: dece It's just it's it's kind of four from hand
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: three from reserve. It seems just kind of pricey for
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: what you're getting. I mean, good stats, but the ability
- 1:35:14Speaker 2: is kind of like E like I like drawing card.
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: I just don't know if the sacrificing is worth I
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: guess it probably is. No, I don't know. It's an
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: interesting case point. I guess we'll have to wait and
- 1:35:29Speaker 2: see how the meta shakes out. Ah, yes, for rand
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: it makes sense. But yes yes uh snow Maiden four
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: from hand four from reserve five five five. When played
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: from hand, target opponent may exhausted resupply. Yeah. Rare Is
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: four from hand four from reserve six sixty six. Target
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: opponent may exhausted resupply twice and then ortists gets this,
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: Ortis gets the artist gets the rare version.
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: This is basically just in line with a daughter, So
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: maybe you play this instead of daughter because it's not
- 1:36:09Speaker 3: as good of a benefit you're giving your opponent. Also,
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: I don't think the art looks just like this.
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: I think this looks like it might be the foil
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: versions in the in the pictures.
- 1:36:22Speaker 3: I think so main Deck is the one that revealed this,
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: and they had it like rotating in their video. I
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: think they applied like a shiny effect to it since.
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: It was like filter.
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: Yeah. So I mean you if you're listening to this,
- 1:36:38Speaker 3: you can't see the art. But for for Dexter and Wookie,
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: I I don't think the card looks exactly like this,
- 1:36:47Speaker 3: but I think she is blue. You can see it
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: kind of more on the arts is it does look
- 1:36:52Speaker 3: like foil. But I think that's something main deck applied. Okay, Okay,
- 1:36:56Speaker 3: I could be I could.
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: Be roight fair enough. I don't know if I like
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: this card like at all. Besides for you getting like
- 1:37:02Speaker 2: I mean, it's if I'm closing fine, right, But like,
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: I don't know if I like this at all. I
- 1:37:08Speaker 2: don't know if this replaces anything. I don't know if
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: I even consider this card.
- 1:37:13Speaker 4: Four cost helping your opponent. No, thank.
- 1:37:19Speaker 3: You, guys, all about yourselves.
- 1:37:22Speaker 2: You know he is a dirty artist player. You know
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: socialism is a bad thing for him.
- 1:37:26Speaker 4: Put this one.
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: I don't understand it. And it's elemental, so you again,
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: it's part of the diversity initiative. That's what it is.
- 1:37:40Speaker 4: I don't want Oh jeez boy.
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: Anyways, Leshie, five power of five. Why do I keep
- 1:37:48Speaker 2: saying that five from hand five from reserve four four
- 1:37:52Speaker 2: four when played from anywhere, I gained one boost for
- 1:37:55Speaker 2: each expedition in forest. This is an interesting one, okay,
- 1:38:01Speaker 2: And the rare is a fire from hand five from
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: reserve one one gigantic. I gained one boost for each
- 1:38:09Speaker 2: expedition in forest. And then Bravos is getting this as well.
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: You know how Bravos fire gets along with plants. Makes sense,
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: it's getting the common version. Anyone care to explain why
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: the rare is like worth anything? Is it just because
- 1:38:34Speaker 2: it's gigantic?
- 1:38:36Speaker 3: Yeah? This one. The biggest selling point is that it
- 1:38:41Speaker 3: is a plant. Okay, I think I need to think
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: on it a little more, but it's going to kind
- 1:38:51Speaker 3: of go in that same style of deck where if
- 1:38:54Speaker 3: I'm playing this, I am most likely playing Persephone.
- 1:39:00Speaker 2: Then I'm playing you are nine man in already though,
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Yeah.
- 1:39:07Speaker 3: Playing this or the next card or some other things
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: coming up to synergize together. I mean, I'll try it.
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: I'll try it. We'll see what happens.
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: It must talk. Let's talk about the next card, which
- 1:39:20Speaker 2: is Demeter six power six from hands six from reserve
- 1:39:25Speaker 2: six five six. If I am in forrest, I am eternal.
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: The rarest seven to seven for six five five target
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: character gains anchored. She allowed to target herself.
- 1:39:41Speaker 3: Yes, it doesn't need to because well.
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: It doesn't need yeah. Yeah, if it's a forest, it's eternal.
- 1:39:55Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, I mean you do bring up a good points.
- 1:39:59Speaker 3: It has potential. Well, I am making a deck for
- 1:40:03Speaker 3: this card just because it's demeter, but also I think
- 1:40:06Speaker 3: there's some really interesting things.
- 1:40:08Speaker 4: You can do with it, and Retasia.
- 1:40:14Speaker 3: It's an alt I don't play in currently, so it'll
- 1:40:19Speaker 3: be Tasia. But we'll see.
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: And if anybody was wondering Bravos is getting is getting
- 1:40:24Speaker 2: the common version.
- 1:40:28Speaker 3: This demeter. It's great. I'll make a deck around it
- 1:40:30Speaker 3: and see how it goes.
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: Let's talk about the three little pigs and how they
- 1:40:34Speaker 2: got lost in the woods. Three from hand, three from
- 1:40:38Speaker 2: reserve fleeting. Choose one cen target character in forest to
- 1:40:43Speaker 2: reserve or discard target permanent. The rare is a three
- 1:40:47Speaker 2: from hand three from reserve fleeting. Choose one cent target
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: character to reserve if it wasn't in a forest. It's
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: controller draws a card, discard target permanent, and then lyra
- 1:41:01Speaker 2: is getting the rare version.
- 1:41:04Speaker 4: Yep, this one.
- 1:41:07Speaker 3: I yeah. I play in common because it is a
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: chance for me to not run cloth Cocoon, So yes, run.
- 1:41:18Speaker 2: Why would you not want to run cloth Cocoon.
- 1:41:21Speaker 4: Because it takes up probably still takes up a rare slot,
- 1:41:23Speaker 4: at least one or two cocoons, but this gives you
- 1:41:26Speaker 4: more options.
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: I forgot for you. It takes up a rare slot.
- 1:41:31Speaker 3: Yep, but it replaces that permanent destruction I want, and
- 1:41:37Speaker 3: if there are no permanents, there's kind of that second
- 1:41:40Speaker 3: ability if I need it, and freeing up the rare
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: slots that cloth Cocoon always always take in every moon,
- 1:41:48Speaker 3: a deck that I play might have some cool possibilities.
- 1:41:55Speaker 2: All right, magic beans one from hand to one from reserve.
- 1:41:59Speaker 2: It is an expedition permanent when played from anywhere. Target
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: character in my expedition gains one boost. My region is
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: forest in addition to its other types. For the rare
- 1:42:11Speaker 2: it is two from hand, two from reserve target character
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: and my expedition gains one boost. My region and the
- 1:42:17Speaker 2: region of the expedition facing me are forest and lose
- 1:42:22Speaker 2: their other types. And Lyra for some reason is getting
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: the rare version. Probably because it's magic beans. Everybody knows
- 1:42:34Speaker 2: that sells magic beans.
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: This is the type of card that we that I'm
- 1:42:43Speaker 3: talking about. Yeah with you know, you got magic beans,
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: you got Demeter, you got Leshie h, maybe Mighty Symby.
- 1:42:54Speaker 3: These are the cards that you'll start playing together. And
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: magic beans for one cost.
- 1:43:01Speaker 4: Is just good in jets.
- 1:43:05Speaker 2: All right. I'm sorry I kept scrolling because Dexter is
- 1:43:09Speaker 2: getting cep Let's past his bedtime. So I am more
- 1:43:15Speaker 2: than oh man, yeah, we are two hours long. I
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: am more than cool calling it after Muna and we
- 1:43:20Speaker 2: can wrap up Ortis And they're stupid, dumb shenanigans that
- 1:43:24Speaker 2: they're getting. I don't understand, Like, whose favorite is Ortis?
- 1:43:31Speaker 3: Charles?
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: Is he like in charge of the whole game.
- 1:43:35Speaker 3: He's the main designer for Trial by Frost.
- 1:43:38Speaker 2: Okay, for but what about the first set?
- 1:43:42Speaker 3: I think we blame Regis. I think he also likes Ortis.
- 1:43:46Speaker 2: Of course, Well it's a good duh.
- 1:43:51Speaker 3: But floral tent.
- 1:43:54Speaker 2: Laura, I gotta scroll back up. Sorry, floral tent one
- 1:43:57Speaker 2: from I'm just looking at some of the artist cards
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: and I'm like, but why floral tent one from hand
- 1:44:02Speaker 2: one from Reserve Resupply. I'm sorry, it's an expedition permanent resupply.
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: If an anchored character would leave my expedition during the afternoon,
- 1:44:13Speaker 2: it loses anchored instead. Okay, Rare two from hand one
- 1:44:19Speaker 2: from Reserve Resupply. Same thing. If an anchored character would
- 1:44:24Speaker 2: leave my expedition during the afternoon, it loses anchored instead.
- 1:44:29Speaker 2: Quick action on that bad boy target character with hand
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: to cost three or less, gains anchored, and Bravos is
- 1:44:38Speaker 2: getting the rare version.
- 1:44:39Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:44:39Speaker 2: Actually Bravos is completely different, so they get to resupply.
- 1:44:43Speaker 2: If a boosted character would leave my expedition during the afternoon,
- 1:44:47Speaker 2: it loses all its boost instead.
- 1:44:53Speaker 4: It's interesting.
- 1:44:54Speaker 2: I actually kind of like the Bravos one a little bit.
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: Yeah. The Floral t common very good. Basically removal protection
- 1:45:03Speaker 3: with a bonus resupply and if you don't move stays
- 1:45:08Speaker 3: there it's one cost. So I mean it's it's cool.
- 1:45:12Speaker 3: The supportability is nice, but I think we have enough
- 1:45:18Speaker 3: of those that we don't need a rare slot for
- 1:45:21Speaker 3: the tent.
- 1:45:22Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think the Bravos one might come in handy.
- 1:45:25Speaker 3: Yeah. The Bravos one is cool.
- 1:45:29Speaker 4: In a cool BUTSIRA deck with lots of boosts that
- 1:45:31Speaker 4: could be real good.
- 1:45:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and you don't you can just be like nope,
- 1:45:36Speaker 2: all right. Ice bound Tiga three from hand three from
- 1:45:40Speaker 2: Reserve Well Landmark Permanent. When you play a character in Forrest,
- 1:45:50Speaker 2: I gain a trial counter and then it creates a
- 1:45:54Speaker 2: drinker dragon and it's anchored.
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: And anchors the dragon anchors the dragon.
- 1:46:02Speaker 2: The Rare is three from hand two from reserve, same thing,
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: the same.
- 1:46:06Speaker 4: Thing, and then Lyra's just the rare again. Yep, same
- 1:46:11Speaker 4: thing anchored gives it anchored.
- 1:46:12Speaker 3: I love it. Yep. This is this is my ice bound.
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: There's no reason I don't play this unless I'm super
- 1:46:19Speaker 3: good hitting my thirty nine cards with everything else I want.
- 1:46:24Speaker 3: Like I said, I see these as I set it
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: and forget it kind of thing unless it gets you know, boom.
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: Yeah really, but yeah, this is dope, especially because it
- 1:46:36Speaker 3: gains anchored.
- 1:46:37Speaker 4: It's three for ten if they don't remove it.
- 1:46:43Speaker 2: For ten. Oh yeah yeah, because it's anchored, you're technically
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: getting it again. Yeah. I dig this. I might even
- 1:46:50Speaker 2: dig this for Lyra. Yeah that I mean Brittany doesn't.
- 1:46:57Speaker 3: Who doesn't want a big anchored dragon. Maybe you can
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: name it, you know, a bad.
- 1:47:06Speaker 2: Dragon or something bad dragon.
- 1:47:08Speaker 3: That is the end of Moona. And we have been
- 1:47:12Speaker 3: two hours.
- 1:47:13Speaker 2: Yeah, we've been two hours. So we're we're going to
- 1:47:15Speaker 2: cut it here. Somebody's got to read Dexter's bedtime story
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: and put them to sleep. We'll finish up. We got
- 1:47:24Speaker 2: who do we got left? We got Yazmir and ortis
- 1:47:27Speaker 2: left for next week. We don't give us something to
- 1:47:30Speaker 2: talk about. But knowing our luck, they'll release some giant
- 1:47:33Speaker 2: article or something cool and then we can all you
- 1:47:38Speaker 2: know what, me and Cole next week and bitch about artists.
- 1:47:42Speaker 3: Yeah, the next episode will be good because it'll allow
- 1:47:47Speaker 3: us to recap the releases that start tomorrow. Yeah, and
- 1:47:52Speaker 3: then go over Yazmir and ortis. The only thing is
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: I won't be here next Friday, but we'll coordinate.
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: Maybe maybe we do a Saturday episode, or we can
- 1:48:07Speaker 2: figure some sort of recording previous. Maybe not next week
- 1:48:13Speaker 2: next I actually I leave. I'm going to Minnesota, but
- 1:48:18Speaker 2: we'll we'll figure something out, whether it's gonna be later
- 1:48:21Speaker 2: or something. We will figure out some way to get
- 1:48:23Speaker 2: you your daily dose of Tuesday altered. And if you
- 1:48:28Speaker 2: are enjoying it, make sure you press all the buttons
- 1:48:31Speaker 2: and let them know that Arks Corner is in the
- 1:48:35Speaker 2: top sixty eight of altered content creators. Maybe we can
- 1:48:42Speaker 2: get one of these next time. Maybe maybe, but big
- 1:48:46Speaker 2: thank you to a guy trying for putting this all together.
- 1:48:51Speaker 2: Great spreadsheet, awesome way to see all of them, so
- 1:48:54Speaker 2: we greatly do appreciate him letting us use it. Patreon question.
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: We'll do this real quick and then we'll get out
- 1:49:02Speaker 2: of here. Looks like we've got maybe two.
- 1:49:04Speaker 3: Questions, two from the same person.
- 1:49:07Speaker 2: Two from the same person. All right, do we think
- 1:49:09Speaker 2: BGA should have multiplayer mode, drafts, et cetera, et cetera
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: built into the platform in the future or should that
- 1:49:19Speaker 2: just be just live play, or even should that be
- 1:49:23Speaker 2: an upgrade considered in the future. I would totally dig that.
- 1:49:27Speaker 4: Yeah, that would be super fun. You'd probably just lose
- 1:49:31Speaker 4: the cards after the draft or sealed was over, but
- 1:49:34Speaker 4: that would be super cool. If you could open imaginary packs.
- 1:49:37Speaker 2: And I was even multiplayer mode, you know that, a
- 1:49:42Speaker 2: multiple player.
- 1:49:43Speaker 3: Online I'm not I'm not against it. I would say
- 1:49:50Speaker 3: the only thing is if their priority is first and
- 1:49:54Speaker 3: foremost the base, you know, part of the game, the
- 1:49:58Speaker 3: one v one arena tournaments, all of that, that's totally fine.
- 1:50:03Speaker 3: The BBA game is put together by three developers. A
- 1:50:09Speaker 3: lead developer, or at least the one that I interact
- 1:50:14Speaker 3: the most, Vincent. If you do have suggestions for altered
- 1:50:20Speaker 3: on BDA, you can actually go to this area you
- 1:50:23Speaker 3: submit bugs and you can submit suggestions. If they get
- 1:50:28Speaker 3: voted more, they'll go higher. And Vincent is very good.
- 1:50:34Speaker 3: I have heard someone refer to him as one of
- 1:50:36Speaker 3: the best BGA developers. So yeah, I think it'd be
- 1:50:40Speaker 3: cool if you want to test out a draft online.
- 1:50:43Speaker 3: Exalts Table does have a way to draft. I don't
- 1:50:48Speaker 3: like the client as much, but the draft and opening
- 1:50:51Speaker 3: packs is very good. So yeah, I think it'll be
- 1:50:55Speaker 3: good if it's possible and we don't kill Vincent with
- 1:50:58Speaker 3: too much work.
- 1:51:00Speaker 4: Yeah, all right.
- 1:51:01Speaker 2: Also, the question on new characters made me think, do
- 1:51:05Speaker 2: we have evil characters in here? There probably are some
- 1:51:08Speaker 2: neutral runs, but nothing evil, at least that I can
- 1:51:12Speaker 2: think of. They have Dorothy but no Wicked Witch, Mulgwi
- 1:51:16Speaker 2: but no sheer Khan, Santa but no Crampis, et cetera.
- 1:51:21Speaker 2: I wonder if they have a plan for that. That's
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: set three, bro, that three we're going to the Shadow,
- 1:51:29Speaker 2: We're going to the Shadow realm.
- 1:51:32Speaker 3: Yep, we we we have called it. There will be
- 1:51:35Speaker 3: a set where we're going to some type of Shattow realm,
- 1:51:39Speaker 3: and I think.
- 1:51:40Speaker 2: I think there will be a set like that. Maybe
- 1:51:44Speaker 2: not a set, but maybe they slowly introduce them. But
- 1:51:46Speaker 2: like that would be because like it's all about expedition, right,
- 1:51:50Speaker 2: so I would assume at some point we'd we would
- 1:51:54Speaker 2: journey into a not so friendly zone.
- 1:51:59Speaker 4: Yeah, you would say.
- 1:52:00Speaker 3: I think you see hints of that already, Like if
- 1:52:05Speaker 3: you look at I mean, the Craken exists, for one thing,
- 1:52:09Speaker 3: but if you look at the I think it's the
- 1:52:13Speaker 3: unique or the rare, maybe a little of both. Of
- 1:52:15Speaker 3: the Blade Dancer.
- 1:52:20Speaker 2: There are.
- 1:52:25Speaker 3: There are these weird like flying squid monster things, and
- 1:52:30Speaker 3: then of course Amarok next set. So yeah, I think
- 1:52:36Speaker 3: there will be some some darkness at some point, and
- 1:52:41Speaker 3: it'll be just like you said, Wookie will be this
- 1:52:44Speaker 3: time we're traveling to a grand peak frozen tundra. There
- 1:52:48Speaker 3: will be a time where we go into the shadow reim.
- 1:52:51Speaker 2: Or or maybe it's molten lava and we're going to
- 1:52:55Speaker 2: the shadow. Nobody knows. It could be anything.
- 1:52:58Speaker 3: Maybe we go to the Hollower.
- 1:53:00Speaker 2: There you go Godzilla, Oh man, you know Godzilla's property
- 1:53:04Speaker 2: of what's is of the coast. You probably won't see Godzilla.
- 1:53:07Speaker 3: Yeah no, Godzilla, No unfortunately.
- 1:53:10Speaker 2: Yeah, none, none of that nonsense. But you know that'd
- 1:53:14Speaker 2: be cool. I would dig that, Yeah, you know, I
- 1:53:16Speaker 2: never that never really dawned on me, that, like, yeah,
- 1:53:19Speaker 2: you don't you do have like all the good characters,
- 1:53:22Speaker 2: but none of the none of the evil ones, because
- 1:53:26Speaker 2: there are neutral ones but nothing evil. And I was like,
- 1:53:29Speaker 2: have you met all of ortis? Yes?
- 1:53:35Speaker 3: Organized politics is definitely evil. Yes, but don't forget to
- 1:53:40Speaker 3: join us on Patreon and uh like it to subscribe.
- 1:53:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's gonna do it for this week. We'll see
- 1:53:47Speaker 2: y'all next week. Man, I'm let them see.
- 1:53:50Speaker 1: I'm back episod of Imagine Energy. I'm leven on my
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: enemies and animal checking off even at the.
- 1:53:55Speaker 6: Industry and it wanted take it. You want to go
- 1:53:59Speaker 6: to whole dance on crisis, I'm anxiously where you intebrations
- 1:54:01Speaker 6: it out the best of it, so defying I flex
- 1:54:03Speaker 6: like I'm Cobra costs. I don't step and just hold
- 1:54:05Speaker 6: your silence.
- 1:54:06Speaker 1: I'm Gretzky. I'm colding his ice. You get stretched out
- 1:54:08Speaker 1: like ol vaginas. I'm letting them know.
- 1:54:10Speaker 6: I'm winding big velling. Yeah, calls the giant. I bet
- 1:54:12Speaker 6: I'm the dopest from and I'm setting it's on. I'm
- 1:54:15Speaker 6: flying up next to just don't k
