- 1:44Speaker 3: was just a flood of info. So I think we
- 1:47Speaker 3: just get into it. There's so much to cover. First
- 1:51Speaker 3: of all, we don't even know of the five things
- 1:53Speaker 3: what we were to do first. But I think we
- 1:56Speaker 3: first have to say, oh, first I have to say,
- 1:57Speaker 3: you guys, a really exciting thing is happening to me.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Let's make it about me. Juicy Scoop has been chosen
- 2:02Speaker 3: by Netflix. They requested a live Juicy Scoop to be
- 2:07Speaker 3: in the Netflix is a Joke Festival. I have never
- 2:11Speaker 3: performed in this festival before as an L.A. native and

- 2:49Speaker 3: I cannot add another show.
- 2:51Speaker 5: This is it. So please get your tickets. Plan your weekends.
- 2:53Speaker 5: Get your girls. Plan your.
- 2:55Speaker 3: How fun is L.A.? I love that.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Just be in L.A. right now, girl.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Like, you want to have a fun weekend. Maybe you
- 3:00Speaker 3: can come back that weekend. I would love to.
- 3:02Speaker 1: All right.
- 3:03Speaker 5: So, you guys.
- 3:06Speaker 3: The Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni... scoop is out of control
- 3:12Speaker 3: because i believe all that came forward because the trial
- 3:16Speaker 3: actually starts today that when you're airing this the 22nd
- 3:20Speaker 3: of january right.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Today is the 21st i know but this airs okay
- 3:24Speaker 4: i'm sorry so it will be.
- 3:26Speaker 3: The trial is starting and i guess that's why all
- 3:29Speaker 3: the text messages we were always wondering would we have
- 3:31Speaker 3: access to the taylor swift Blake Lively text messages that
- 3:36Speaker 3: the Just Inside had requested. Yes, we are seeing them.
- 3:41Speaker 3: We are reading them.
- 3:43Speaker 5: There is so much correspondence.
- 3:46Speaker 3: And I don't even know where to begin, but I
- 3:49Speaker 3: will say it does not make Taylor look good.
- 3:52Speaker 5: No, it doesn't.
- 3:53Speaker 3: And I had no idea.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Like, I didn't know that there was so much information
- 3:56Speaker 4: that was going to come out because there was sort
- 3:57Speaker 4: of like a lull, right? Like it's a lot to
- 3:59Speaker 4: keep up with. It was tidbits here and there. And yeah,
- 4:02Speaker 4: now like all of this has been unleashed and there's
- 4:05Speaker 4: a lot to go through.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Now, when you were doing your very creative, funny takes
- 4:10Speaker 3: on pop culture on TikTok, you kind of peaked because
- 4:15Speaker 3: you are a Boston florist, much like the lead in
- 4:21Speaker 3: It Ends With Us, which is the role that Blake
- 4:23Speaker 3: Lively played based on the book.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Well, that's what that's what was so funny about it.
- 4:27Speaker 4: And I never really talked about that. But the reason
- 4:29Speaker 4: that I was aware of the book is because my
- 4:31Speaker 4: friend who's a writer, she's like, you have to read
- 4:33Speaker 4: this book. It's the most ridiculous book. It's about like
- 4:35Speaker 4: a steampunk florist. The books are really corny. And I
- 4:38Speaker 4: read the book because I'm a florist and it took
- 4:41Speaker 4: place in Boston. And so I kind of had this
- 4:44Speaker 4: on my radar. And then, of course, like when this
- 4:46Speaker 4: all blew up, it's like the ultimate pop culture story.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Especially because I don't think we knew that Blake Lively
- 4:52Speaker 4: was like such a monster. And it was almost like
- 4:55Speaker 4: the perfect storm with Justin Baldoni and then just how
- 5:00Speaker 4: this all unfolded. And I don't think we would know
- 5:02Speaker 4: a lot about it if she hadn't made such a
- 5:04Speaker 4: big deal about it and then... started this entire lawsuit
- 5:07Speaker 4: I don't know that she really yeah thought this.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Through this is what I want because I am manifesting
- 5:13Speaker 3: mama so I manifest things that have now starting to
- 5:16Speaker 3: come true a lot of people are asking for more
- 5:18Speaker 3: of this uh persona of mine and I am manifesting
- 5:23Speaker 3: just a simple lifetime movie I I recently saw that
- 5:28Speaker 3: Netflix obtained a lifetime movie called Mel on the The
- 5:33Speaker 3: Melanie McGuire murder thing. And I covered it for Juicy Crimes.
- 5:38Speaker 3: But it was kind of interesting to see them put
- 5:40Speaker 3: it together in like a 90-minute thing. So I want
- 5:44Speaker 3: to have the Lifetime movie. Or I need a scripted,
- 5:49Speaker 3: more hardcore.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Limited series.
- 5:52Speaker 3: What I don't need is the documentary because I've been
- 5:55Speaker 3: living it. There's nothing they can tell us. I don't
- 5:58Speaker 3: want to see everybody that I know and I follow
- 6:00Speaker 3: sitting down, walking in while the camera's on an empty seat.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Are we really doing this? I don't need to see
- 6:06Speaker 3: it anymore. But I do want you to see the
- 6:08Speaker 3: scripted story of what happened. Who's going to play Ryan Reynolds?
- 6:14Speaker 3: Who's going to play Blake? Who's going to play Taylor Swift?
- 6:17Speaker 4: Well, I'm also wondering, like when Justin, when this is
- 6:20Speaker 4: all settled, are we going to hear from Justin Baldoni?
- 6:23Speaker 4: Because we haven't really heard his side of things. Now
- 6:26Speaker 4: we're reading through all of these text messages with Blake, Taylor,
- 6:31Speaker 4: Jenny Slate. But I know it's crazy. And so we
- 6:34Speaker 4: haven't really heard from Justin Baldoni. I mean, we're reading
- 6:37Speaker 4: through the text and we're seeing his side of things.
- 6:40Speaker 4: But I'm very curious to hear from him once this
- 6:43Speaker 4: is kind of all settled. But yes, I would also
- 6:45Speaker 4: be into some sort of Lifetime movie, of course.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Of course, you've got to see it.
- 6:50Speaker 3: So let's just start first with Jenny Slate, who played
- 6:56Speaker 3: Justin Baldoni's sister in the film. And she was sort
- 7:00Speaker 3: of silent in all of it. And when she played
- 7:04Speaker 3: the role... Opposite Michelle Williams in the critically acclaimed They
- 7:09Speaker 3: Won All the Awards Dying for Sex series.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Yep.
- 7:13Speaker 3: And my friend was the writer, producer of it, podcaster.
- 7:18Speaker 3: She was the one, the friend that Jenny Slate played.
- 7:22Speaker 3: And there was not a lot of press that Jenny
- 7:25Speaker 3: Slate did for that.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Didn't affect the winnings.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Right.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Because this was all going on and she wanted to
- 7:32Speaker 3: stay silent. But at that time, I did find out
- 7:37Speaker 3: that she was felt Blake was in the right, that
- 7:41Speaker 3: he was annoying and weird. And now that has been
- 7:44Speaker 3: proven that she did not enjoy her time on set
- 7:48Speaker 3: with him. I think that I think that Blake whipped
- 7:52Speaker 3: these people up.
- 7:53Speaker 5: I do, too.
- 7:54Speaker 4: You know what I mean? I think that he was
- 7:55Speaker 4: probably kind of annoying or off putting to her. He
- 7:59Speaker 4: definitely has like the feminist thing going on, which I don't.
- 8:03Speaker 4: They seem to have a problem with that. Like he
- 8:05Speaker 4: wasn't living up to that. So I think there was
- 8:06Speaker 4: probably like rumblings and maybe some like personality conflicts that
- 8:10Speaker 4: were happening anyways. And then I think Blake really wanted
- 8:14Speaker 4: I think she wanted the sequel. I think that she
- 8:16Speaker 4: really wanted to take over the entire project. So I
- 8:20Speaker 4: think that she started kind of, in my opinion, manipulating
- 8:23Speaker 4: people behind the scenes. That includes Jenny Slate. There is
- 8:26Speaker 4: a back and forth with her and Jenny Slate where
- 8:29Speaker 4: Jenny Slate apparently made some like offhand comment about her
- 8:33Speaker 4: Airbnb and like that it wasn't conducive to like having
- 8:36Speaker 4: sex something something along those lines it was probably just
- 8:38Speaker 4: like I said a one-off comment she then went in
- 8:41Speaker 4: apologized to Blake Lively so I think that they had
- 8:44Speaker 4: kind of like this heightened.
- 8:45Speaker 5: Like wait sorry Jenny Slate apologized Jenny.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Slate had said like oh I'm sorry that I said
- 8:49Speaker 4: that so I think that they kind of started nitpicking
- 8:53Speaker 4: every single little thing that was said. And so to
- 8:56Speaker 4: your point, I think that it kind of like started
- 8:58Speaker 4: innocently enough and then as it ramped up and it
- 9:00Speaker 4: became more serious, the accusations became a little bit more pointed.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I mean, I think sometimes what people don't realize, which
- 9:09Speaker 3: is so different with men and women, is that women,
- 9:13Speaker 3: we like to talk everything out and we confide and
- 9:16Speaker 3: we fester and it becomes... Something. It's like the same sometimes,
- 9:22Speaker 3: you know, yeah, whether it's like a couple bad apples, whatever.
- 9:26Speaker 3: And I think, yeah, I think she I think she
- 9:29Speaker 3: is kind of like knows how to be a really
- 9:32Speaker 3: great girlfriend and can kind of bring in these women,
- 9:35Speaker 3: whether it's Colleen Hoover, Jenny Slate, Isabella, who played the younger.
- 9:40Speaker 5: Version of her.
- 9:41Speaker 3: To kind of put the seedings in their brain of like,
- 9:44Speaker 3: oh my God, wasn't that annoying?
- 9:46Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 9:47Speaker 3: And mostly what people are saying that have really covered
- 9:50Speaker 3: the case and everything that's come out is that in
- 9:53Speaker 3: all of these correspondence in Blake complaining about Justin being
- 9:58Speaker 3: the director of... her not enjoying that and being the
- 10:02Speaker 3: producer and her feeling like she deserves that PGA, which
- 10:05Speaker 3: is the, you know, to prove that she's producer on
- 10:07Speaker 3: it for all the reasons why it's just that he
- 10:10Speaker 3: was like a doofus, a dork, a clown. Um, Oh,
- 10:13Speaker 3: why doesn't he spend more time trimming his hair? And
- 10:16Speaker 3: like all these like comments, it's not like, wow, like,
- 10:19Speaker 3: He fucking walked in while I was breastfeeding.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:22Speaker 3: He wants me not to have underwear on when I
- 10:26Speaker 3: do the birth scene.
- 10:27Speaker 5: There was none of that.
- 10:30Speaker 3: So that's where people are like, so then why did
- 10:32Speaker 3: you bring up the sexual harassment part of the suit?
- 10:35Speaker 5: And story to begin.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Well, and she wanted that credit. So the flip side
- 10:39Speaker 4: of that is she's trying to act like she had
- 10:42Speaker 4: complete control over that set. I had to take over everything.
- 10:45Speaker 4: I had to take over the writing. I had to
- 10:47Speaker 4: review the dailies.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I had to. She was like, I had to deal
- 10:50Speaker 3: with like human resources.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Right.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Meaning like she acts like she had to settle the
- 10:54Speaker 3: nerves of the other women on set because they were
- 10:57Speaker 3: all so bothered by him. But actually, would they have
- 11:00Speaker 3: ever even noticed or said anything had someone not been like, Yeah.
- 11:04Speaker 3: And you can't have it both ways.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Were you in control or was he in control? Was
- 11:08Speaker 4: he in control and then he was victimizing all of
- 11:10Speaker 4: you guys? Or were you the one that had to
- 11:12Speaker 4: take over the entire project because he was completely incapable?
- 11:16Speaker 4: And so I think that that's the problem with a
- 11:19Speaker 4: lot of the emails and the text messages is it
- 11:21Speaker 4: doesn't align with what she said in the beginning and
- 11:24Speaker 4: the reason that she launched this entire lawsuit.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Right.
- 11:27Speaker 3: And I agree with you. It's it seems like they were.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Obsessed with him. Like they became like obsessed with hating him.
- 11:33Speaker 4: And yeah, everybody just kind of got whipped up and
- 11:36Speaker 4: it became something that it really wasn't. And I'm sure that,
- 11:39Speaker 4: you know, that Taylor Swift is regretting getting involved in this.
- 11:42Speaker 4: This is like, this is unheard of something of her level.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Also, I do think that Jenny, there was some correspondent,
- 11:48Speaker 3: Jenny Slate said, I asked my Insta assistant to unfollow him.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Like she asked them all to unfollow. Like Colleen Hoover
- 11:57Speaker 4: came out and said that Blake asked her to unfollow him.
- 12:01Speaker 4: And Ryan talked about it, too. Like they obviously wanted
- 12:04Speaker 4: it presented as though everybody had a problem with him.
- 12:08Speaker 4: But like you said, nobody was really coming out and
- 12:10Speaker 4: saying that. But that was part of the plan as well.
- 12:14Speaker 5: Right.
- 12:14Speaker 3: And then. OK, so let's talk about the Taylor Swift
- 12:18Speaker 3: of it all.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Yes.
- 12:19Speaker 3: So she and Taylor have been friends, Blake and Taylor
- 12:23Speaker 3: have been for years.
- 12:24Speaker 5: I believe she's a godmother for one of the four kids.
- 12:27Speaker 3: And even at one point, I remember Blake was in
- 12:33Speaker 3: reading all about this, held up some point of production
- 12:36Speaker 3: because she wanted to fly and go to the heiress
- 12:38Speaker 3: tour or she said she was sick, but then she
- 12:40Speaker 3: was actually at the heiress tour. during those weeks of
- 12:44Speaker 3: production or pre-production. Anyway, they were very, very close. And
- 12:48Speaker 3: we knew that these texts were coming and we haven't
- 12:51Speaker 3: really seen them together in the last year. And everyone's
- 12:54Speaker 3: figuring like, oh my God, Taylor's probably like, why the
- 12:57Speaker 3: fuck did I get dragged into this? Stop calling me
- 12:59Speaker 3: your dragon, you weird loser. Like, I just thought it
- 13:01Speaker 3: was fun to have some friends. But other people that
- 13:06Speaker 3: are not Swifties have accused Taylor in the past of
- 13:10Speaker 3: not necessarily supporting younger female artists kind of doing subtle
- 13:15Speaker 3: shit-a-pons and sometimes you know when a when a younger
- 13:20Speaker 3: artist is about to drop their album she's like guess
- 13:22Speaker 3: what there's some hidden versions of songs that nobody knew
- 13:25Speaker 3: about that i'm actually going to drop on the same
- 13:28Speaker 3: tuesday and like people like god why would you do
- 13:30Speaker 3: that like you know and i always just remember like
- 13:34Speaker 3: her story of where she was not liked in high
- 13:37Speaker 3: school probably because she was so talented And girls are
- 13:40Speaker 3: bitchy and jealous. And then when she became a star, she, like,
- 13:45Speaker 3: invited all of those girls to, like, get in the
- 13:48Speaker 3: front row where she could perform and whatever. So I
- 13:50Speaker 3: think when someone doesn't have a good high school experience,
- 13:55Speaker 3: my God... can that follow you for the rest of
- 13:59Speaker 3: your life? And then when you become successful, there is
- 14:02Speaker 3: nothing more dangerous than a hated bully nerd who gets
- 14:08Speaker 3: some fucking power, whether it's.
- 14:10Speaker 5: A man or a woman.
- 14:11Speaker 3: And I'm like, so finally she gets this cool girl, Blake.
- 14:16Speaker 3: And Blake is cool. She has a cool husband. They're
- 14:18Speaker 3: a good fucking time. And she likes having that friendship.
- 14:22Speaker 3: And in the correspondence... She is down to do whatever
- 14:27Speaker 3: Blake asks of her. And she is like, oh, my God,
- 14:31Speaker 3: let's talk about this fake feminist. And oh, you know,
- 14:34Speaker 3: and then it's like, oh, but of course, Blake's like,
- 14:36Speaker 3: but of course, I'm the horrible one. And she's like,
- 14:38Speaker 3: I know we're going to show the world what happens.
- 14:40Speaker 3: She was coaching her almost. Yeah, we're going to show
- 14:42Speaker 3: the world, Taylor's like, we're going to show the world
- 14:43Speaker 3: what happens when someone's a hypocrite.
- 14:45Speaker 5: And, you know, of course, it's the men, da, da, da, da.
- 14:47Speaker 4: Yeah. I'm sure she's regretting it now. And that's why
- 14:52Speaker 4: there was I think the other thing that's going on
- 14:54Speaker 4: now is that she looks like a huge liar because
- 14:57Speaker 4: she tried to distance herself from that. And she tried
- 14:59Speaker 4: to say, like, I had like nothing to do with this.
- 15:02Speaker 4: But now, obviously, we're reading through the text messages. They
- 15:05Speaker 4: were both calling each other Khaleesi or whatever. How do
- 15:07Speaker 4: they have this much time on their hands?
- 15:09Speaker 2: I know.
- 15:10Speaker 3: And then it was like, I'm going to have you
- 15:11Speaker 3: read this, you know, act like you read the script.
- 15:15Speaker 3: And then come in as like a power move, like
- 15:17Speaker 3: you just pop and buy for a muffin while Justin's
- 15:20Speaker 3: there to intimidate you. But even if you don't read
- 15:23Speaker 3: the script that I just rewrote, just act like you
- 15:25Speaker 3: did and like that you co-sign on it. So that
- 15:28Speaker 3: whole lame scene of them on the rooftop, which to
- 15:33Speaker 3: me made no sense when he's like, oh, I'm a
- 15:38Speaker 3: brain surgery whenever I'm a neurologist.
- 15:40Speaker 5: And she's like.
- 15:42Speaker 5: Whoa, really? I thought you were like a tech bro.
- 15:46Speaker 5: And I'm like, what?
- 15:47Speaker 3: And she's wearing like overalls with like $ 2, 000 sparkly Louis
- 15:51Speaker 3: Vuitton heels like in the hospitals. And like all of
- 15:54Speaker 3: that stuff was just so crazy. Well, she was out
- 15:59Speaker 3: of control.
- 15:59Speaker 4: And there's communication between Justin Baldoni and Jamie Heath where
- 16:04Speaker 4: they're like, there's literally nothing we can do.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Like nobody can control her.
- 16:08Speaker 4: They go through the list of like all of the
- 16:10Speaker 4: people who are like, it's impossible to control her. Um,
- 16:13Speaker 4: and yeah, it's her cut ended up being the cut
- 16:16Speaker 4: of the movie and her cut did failed against his
- 16:20Speaker 4: cut of the movie when they showed it to audiences.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Yes.
- 16:22Speaker 4: And she's, there's correspondence correspondence in there where she's like,
- 16:27Speaker 4: basically like, I don't care. Like Colleen Hoover likes it better.
- 16:30Speaker 4: And like Taylor Swift likes it better. And like my,
- 16:32Speaker 4: my cut is better. And then they bullied, they bullied
- 16:35Speaker 4: him into releasing that.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:38Speaker 3: And what was interesting in Justin's response to like the
- 16:42Speaker 3: final cut or trying to get his cut to make
- 16:46Speaker 3: it or whatever, he's like, she's cut out the abuse.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Like there isn't the same amount of abuse that was
- 16:53Speaker 3: supposed to be like featured because it was about a
- 16:56Speaker 3: domestic violent situation. When I saw the movie, which was
- 17:00Speaker 3: after it was out in the theaters, available on Netflix
- 17:03Speaker 3: before the drama with all of this, I watched it.
- 17:08Speaker 5: And I was like, I don't mean to.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Be like insensitive, but like, it seemed like that one
- 17:14Speaker 3: thing was a mistake, like with the hot pan. And
- 17:18Speaker 3: I was like, okay, like it was, I was kind
- 17:21Speaker 3: of like, what is this about? The one thing I
- 17:23Speaker 3: did think as a viewer was, is I did think
- 17:26Speaker 3: they had good sexual chemistry. He's hot. I think that
- 17:29Speaker 3: that's part of the issue.
- 17:30Speaker 4: I really do think that she was extremely offended that
- 17:33Speaker 4: he wasn't like throwing himself.
- 17:34Speaker 3: All over her.
- 17:35Speaker 4: And if you, my TikTok blew up when I talked about,
- 17:41Speaker 4: it was like a TMZ article about how she was
- 17:44Speaker 4: very offended that he asked the stunt coordinator how he
- 17:47Speaker 4: should lift her.
- 17:48Speaker 5: So lift her on the kitchen counter for the make out.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Yes, because he had a bad back and like whatever.
- 17:53Speaker 4: And she was so offended by that. I think that
- 17:56Speaker 4: some of it has to do with that. I think
- 17:58Speaker 4: she has a very big ego. I think she's been
- 18:00Speaker 4: like the hot girl for a long time. I think
- 18:03Speaker 4: that she came into this thinking that she was going
- 18:06Speaker 4: to take over the entire thing. And it just kind
- 18:10Speaker 4: of like snowballed from there. In real life, she's like
- 18:12Speaker 4: 40 and a mother of four. And she looks great.
- 18:15Speaker 4: She's gorgeous.
- 18:17Speaker 3: But. She chose to want this project and she's playing
- 18:21Speaker 3: a much... I mean, I know they made her a
- 18:24Speaker 3: little older in the movie, but in the book, the
- 18:26Speaker 3: girl was supposed to be like 21.
- 18:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know it was great casting. But then
- 18:29Speaker 4: she tried to... I mean, to your point, she's trying
- 18:31Speaker 4: to take over as a director and it's like you.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Don't really have.
- 18:35Speaker 4: obviously when you like watch the movie, there's, there's issues
- 18:38Speaker 4: with the continuity and the story and how it's presented.
- 18:42Speaker 4: And I believe that is because Blake took over.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 18:46Speaker 3: And then it's like, there's all these like moments where
- 18:48Speaker 3: it's like, she's like, like these long, like looks in
- 18:52Speaker 3: her hair.
- 18:52Speaker 5: And she's like, okay.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Yeah. And then in that thing he wrote, this is
- 18:56Speaker 3: supposed to be a movie about a domestic violent relationship,
- 19:00Speaker 3: not a sizzle reel for how beautiful Blake is.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Like it was a lot of that.
- 19:05Speaker 3: And I know with women, like I wonder if this
- 19:11Speaker 3: was the opposite and this was all men players.
- 19:15Speaker 5: There were no women involved in this at all.
- 19:17Speaker 3: It was two guys and one was the star and
- 19:19Speaker 3: one was the director and the other one was best
- 19:21Speaker 3: friends with, you know, Harry Styles, and if it was
- 19:25Speaker 3: all men in this, you know, would people be as
- 19:29Speaker 3: passionate about nailing everybody to the cross, mostly the women?
- 19:33Speaker 5: I mean, just think about it.
- 19:36Speaker 4: No, I mean, I think the dynamics between the women
- 19:39Speaker 4: are what kind of propelled this.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Right.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Colleen Hoover is a fangirl of Blake Lively.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Like the writer.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:46Speaker 4: Yeah justin baldoni found colleen hoover and he wanted to
- 19:50Speaker 4: you know make a movie about this book by the
- 19:52Speaker 4: way the book is very corny and the movie is
- 19:55Speaker 4: corny and so all of this hoopla over this movie
- 19:58Speaker 4: that's like really kind of a glamorized lifetime.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Dried black flowers Well, she's a steampunk florist.
- 20:06Speaker 4: It was very offensive. That's why my friend was.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Like, you would hate this.
- 20:09Speaker 4: You have to read it. And thank God to her
- 20:11Speaker 4: because I wouldn't have the context. And like, so it
- 20:14Speaker 4: was kind of like the perfect storm when this all
- 20:16Speaker 4: came out because I had actually read the book. And
- 20:18Speaker 4: then I'm a florist in Boston. I was like telling
- 20:20Speaker 4: the guys at the flower mart about this because I'm
- 20:22Speaker 4: like my tick.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Like, do you know about tick tock? I'm like, it's
- 20:25Speaker 3: blowing up.
- 20:25Speaker 4: And it's because of this like movie with Blake Lively
- 20:28Speaker 4: where she's a florist. And by the way, like we
- 20:30Speaker 4: all laugh because I'm like, if anybody dressed the way
- 20:33Speaker 4: that Blake Lively dresses in that movie and came into
- 20:36Speaker 4: the flower mart. we would just relentlessly make fun of
- 20:39Speaker 4: this person. So it's like, even in that sense, it's
- 20:41Speaker 4: very unrealistic. But in the book, they were putting like
- 20:44Speaker 4: screws in the flowers and it was, yeah, it was
- 20:48Speaker 4: corny from the jump.

- 21:10Speaker 1: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 21:13Speaker 1: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 21:16Speaker 1: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 21:20Speaker 1: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 21:27Speaker 3: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 21:30Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 21:32Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 21:34Speaker 1: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 21:37Speaker 1: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 21:39Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 21:41Speaker 4: I need a home dad.
- 21:42Speaker 3: What happens next?
- 21:43Speaker 2: When I came in, he started crying.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 21:49Speaker 1: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 21:52Speaker 1: happens next.
- 21:53Speaker 4: I decided to risk it all.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 21:59Speaker 3: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 22:01Speaker 1: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 22:15Speaker 3: Getting back to the Taylor and Blake. So then there's
- 22:18Speaker 3: other stuff where then Blake writes to Taylor after this
- 22:22Speaker 3: has all been out in the news.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Yes.
- 22:25Speaker 3: And she's like, hey, girl, hey. I feel like something's
- 22:29Speaker 3: off between us. Like, I just kind of want to
- 22:31Speaker 3: make sure I know I dumped a lot on you
- 22:34Speaker 3: and I don't know that I've been as good of
- 22:36Speaker 3: a friend as I could be.
- 22:37Speaker 5: And it's been about me for a while. And it
- 22:40Speaker 5: was kind of.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Good because Blake wrote back and she's, I mean, Taylor
- 22:43Speaker 3: wrote back and was like, no, it's not, it's not that.
- 22:47Speaker 3: It's just that like you sent out this email that
- 22:49Speaker 3: looked like it was like a corporate email and it
- 22:52Speaker 3: was all me, like we, we, we, and my team
- 22:55Speaker 3: and I just want to hear like from my friend
- 22:58Speaker 3: who's like edgy and fun.
- 23:00Speaker 5: And like, I just don't.
- 23:01Speaker 3: So I think at that time, Taylor was at that
- 23:05Speaker 3: point keeping her distance because of this new stuff. Cause
- 23:07Speaker 3: she's like, look, I've been in the world when like
- 23:09Speaker 3: this shit blows up and I'm giving you advice to like,
- 23:12Speaker 3: I know it's hard on you. But at the same
- 23:13Speaker 3: time she was, Taylor was relaying to Blake. Like I
- 23:17Speaker 3: am feeling, I guess somewhat used or you're not being
- 23:20Speaker 3: totally authentic in this friendship.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Yes.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Well, Also, the length of these text messages are so crazy. Like,
- 23:27Speaker 4: I keep thinking they're emails, but they're, like, really just
- 23:29Speaker 4: extremely long text messages. I think Blake loves hearing herself talk.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Ryan loves hearing himself talk. And then so does Taylor.
- 23:36Speaker 4: So it's, like, there's so much drama there between these
- 23:40Speaker 4: people that are, like, these megastars. It's, like, I don't
- 23:42Speaker 4: know how you have this much time to be, like,
- 23:44Speaker 4: in the weeds over Justin Baldoni.
- 23:47Speaker 5: And then a big part was where Taylor goes.
- 23:49Speaker 3: I can't believe that Justin is dumb enough to allow
- 23:55Speaker 3: my song to be in the movie or in the
- 23:58Speaker 3: trailer because I'm your dragon or whatever. I'm your top ally.
- 24:05Speaker 3: So already he is now, the scales have shifted. Yeah,
- 24:09Speaker 3: relinquishing his power. Yeah, and I was like, what a
- 24:13Speaker 3: weird thing to say. Like, why would, like, you were, yeah,
- 24:17Speaker 3: you were, On the mean girl side, you were the...
- 24:22Speaker 3: There's a Regina George, and then there's, like, the other
- 24:24Speaker 3: one that's, like, just doing the dirty work. Like, I
- 24:26Speaker 3: felt like Taylor was the one to the side that was, like...
- 24:30Speaker 3: oh my God, this, yeah, I used my thing and
- 24:32Speaker 3: how amazing. And then, and then Blake like writes to
- 24:35Speaker 3: Colin Hoover, like, I don't know what the fuck this
- 24:37Speaker 3: guy's problem is.
- 24:39Speaker 5: I brought in all these stars. I brought in the music.
- 24:42Speaker 3: I am running a, basically a whole marketing campaign for
- 24:46Speaker 3: free because I'm so famous and all this. And like,
- 24:51Speaker 3: why he should be kissing my feet and writing like
- 24:54Speaker 3: apology letters and.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Well, why wouldn't he want Taylor's music to be in
- 24:58Speaker 4: the trailer?
- 24:59Speaker 3: Yeah, why wouldn't he?
- 25:00Speaker 4: He's the one that found the story. Wayfair is the
- 25:03Speaker 4: one that's financing it. I mean, he's invested in its success,
- 25:07Speaker 4: which is part of the reason that he chose Blake
- 25:09Speaker 4: Lively as... the face of the of the movie. So
- 25:13Speaker 4: it's she seems confused as to like how all of
- 25:16Speaker 4: this works, which is interesting because you've been in the
- 25:18Speaker 4: game for so long. But I don't think she's ever
- 25:20Speaker 4: been in a position where anybody gave her this much power.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Anybody gave her this much leeway. And then she just
- 25:27Speaker 4: she ran away with it. I think like I said,
- 25:28Speaker 4: I think she her and Colleen Hoover and there's text
- 25:31Speaker 4: between the two of them. think they thought they were
- 25:33Speaker 4: going to like take it and make, make it their own,
- 25:35Speaker 4: even though he had rights to the sequel.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Right.
- 25:38Speaker 3: And then, um, what was the Ben Affleck letter that
- 25:42Speaker 3: you sent me?
- 25:43Speaker 5: Can you explain that?
- 25:44Speaker 4: So she wrote to, I think she wrote to Anna
- 25:46Speaker 4: Wintour too. She said that Ryan Reynolds wrote to Matt
- 25:50Speaker 4: Damon and she writes to Ben Affleck and it's all
- 25:54Speaker 4: of her. She thinks she's very charming. Like she thinks
- 25:57Speaker 4: she's a comedian.
- 25:58Speaker 5: Oh God.
- 25:58Speaker 1: God.
- 25:59Speaker 5: I've been saying that forever, and so does he.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Oh, for sure. Whoever he decided to emulate his comedic
- 26:07Speaker 3: persona after, I don't know. I did see him on
- 26:10Speaker 3: the Chevy Chase thing, and he said, like, he kind
- 26:13Speaker 3: of copied Chevy Chase. Like, he clearly just copied, like,
- 26:16Speaker 3: a cadence in a sitcom and then stuck with that
- 26:20Speaker 3: for the rest of his life.
- 26:21Speaker 5: And then he thinks he's so funny.
- 26:24Speaker 3: And then, of course, she thinks she's hilarious, why they always, like,
- 26:27Speaker 3: are on talk shows talking about how they want to, like,
- 26:29Speaker 3: murder their kids.
- 26:30Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Or give them, you know, drugs so they can go
- 26:32Speaker 3: to bed. Oh, the youngest one is a monster, is
- 26:36Speaker 3: an asshole.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Yes.
- 26:37Speaker 5: All right.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Yeah, they're legends in their own mind.
- 26:39Speaker 5: Yeah, very low-hanging fruit dumb jokes.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Okay, continue.
- 26:42Speaker 4: So she writes this, like, way too long email to
- 26:45Speaker 4: Ben Affleck, and she's basically like, you have no idea, like,
- 26:48Speaker 4: what I've dealt with on this set. Like, you know,
- 26:50Speaker 4: she's nailing herself to the cross or whatever. And then
- 26:52Speaker 4: she's like, I want you to, like, if you have time,
- 26:54Speaker 4: if you have an hour and 58 minutes to, like,
- 26:56Speaker 4: watch my cut of the movie, like, I would love that.
- 27:00Speaker 4: If your kids are around, if Jennifer is around. She
- 27:03Speaker 4: says Jennifer. It's unclear if she's talking about Lopez or
- 27:05Speaker 4: Jennifer Gardner. But I think she's implying Gardner.
- 27:09Speaker 5: I do, too, because in that, there was something crossed out.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:13Speaker 3: And I think she was saying, we've been watching you
- 27:17Speaker 3: go through all this with, I think it was probably J-Lo.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Yes.
- 27:19Speaker 5: Cross that out.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Or, you know, I know you're friendly with Jennifer Gardner,
- 27:23Speaker 3: the mother of her kids. She wanted her to watch
- 27:25Speaker 3: the movie, too.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Which is interesting because there have been rumors for a
- 27:28Speaker 4: very long time that they had something going on.
- 27:31Speaker 3: In the town.
- 27:33Speaker 4: In the town.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Oh, my God. I wasn't even thinking of that.
- 27:36Speaker 5: Yes.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Well, that's what's so funny about it. She played... What
- 27:38Speaker 3: did you think of that Boston accent?
- 27:40Speaker 4: Oh, I mean, it was ridiculous. I don't think Blake
- 27:42Speaker 4: Lively's ever been known as, like, you know... a good
- 27:45Speaker 4: actress so she played her part in that though i
- 27:48Speaker 4: did like her in this it was a great movie
- 27:50Speaker 4: i liked i liked the movie the town i love
- 27:53Speaker 4: the town i mean she's usually cast in movies that
- 27:56Speaker 4: are like match her caliber which this movie did but
- 27:58Speaker 4: she just went she just went out of control.
- 28:01Speaker 3: She's just like wait i'm just trying to like do
- 28:02Speaker 3: it it's like you know what you're doing Like, she's
- 28:08Speaker 3: so trashy, but she's like a blonde model.
- 28:10Speaker 5: She's so trashy.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Yeah, but she's supposed to be trashy. And he's like,
- 28:14Speaker 3: come on, girl. Like, be a better mother. Yeah, exactly.
- 28:18Speaker 5: Oh, fuck you. Fuck you.
- 28:20Speaker 3: And then he's on talk shows being like, well, Blake's
- 28:23Speaker 3: not from Boston, so... After we're done shooting, I'll just
- 28:26Speaker 3: drive her around Boston at 2 a.m.
- 28:28Speaker 5: In my car.
- 28:29Speaker 3: I'm sure he was. Yeah.
- 28:31Speaker 4: But now she wants Jennifer to watch her movie, her
- 28:34Speaker 4: cut of the movie. And so then she wanted their opinion.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Didn't Jennifer during this time do some, like— Secret troll post? No,
- 28:43Speaker 3: I remember what it was. It was Reese Witherspoon did
- 28:47Speaker 3: some type of post. Yes. And the troll detectives figured
- 28:52Speaker 3: out that it was like, fuck you, Blake, because you
- 28:55Speaker 3: probably slept with Ben while you were filming a film
- 28:59Speaker 3: and she was pregnant with the second kid or whatever. Yes.
- 29:02Speaker 4: Yes, and now Blake is asking.
- 29:04Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 29:05Speaker 4: I mean, the whole email is insane to reach out
- 29:07Speaker 4: to all of these other random people.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Right, because then she could go and use, again, more
- 29:12Speaker 3: ammunition to say, hey.
- 29:13Speaker 4: All my friends.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Yeah, Ben and Jen Garner, they love it. They think
- 29:19Speaker 3: it's great. I love that Ben is haunted by, like,
- 29:22Speaker 3: the most insane women.
- 29:23Speaker 5: So they did two versions.
- 29:25Speaker 3: So they both got in an editing bay, did two
- 29:27Speaker 3: versions of the movie, The same focus group watched both.
- 29:32Speaker 3: They voted for the Justin one.
- 29:33Speaker 4: Yes.
- 29:34Speaker 3: But then she was such a pain in the ass
- 29:36Speaker 3: that Sony was like, fuck it. Just use that one.
- 29:38Speaker 3: It sounds like that. I want them to.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Release if they were smart I feel like if they
- 29:42Speaker 4: released Justin's version all of these people that have been
- 29:45Speaker 4: following this entire thing would probably go out to see
- 29:48Speaker 4: the movie to support him although then I guess by
- 29:51Speaker 4: proxy you're supporting Blake which they wouldn't want.
- 29:53Speaker 3: To do do you think it's good that Kelsey Travis
- 29:57Speaker 3: Kelsey's team isn't going to be entering the Superbowl and
- 30:01Speaker 3: that they could just like hang low during this time.
- 30:03Speaker 3: That's probably the blessing. That's probably where you're like, life's
- 30:07Speaker 3: rejection is God's protection. I mean, Travis and I are
- 30:10Speaker 3: just need to go to like Aruba or something and
- 30:12Speaker 3: just not be at any Superbowl games.
- 30:15Speaker 5: And then he's like, fuck you. I want to be
- 30:16Speaker 5: at a Superbowl game. And she's like, no.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Because then people wonder why I'm not with you and
- 30:21Speaker 3: I need this shit to die down. And it's not
- 30:23Speaker 3: going to die down by Super Bowl. Right.
- 30:26Speaker 5: Because it's going to actually be played out in a court.
- 30:30Speaker 4: Well, speaking of, that's probably why she cut Blake from
- 30:33Speaker 4: the sidelines. I mean, obviously people started to notice there
- 30:35Speaker 4: was a rift because she was having Blake come and
- 30:38Speaker 4: Blake would you know, be performing in the box or whatever.
- 30:41Speaker 4: And now, yeah, she doesn't have to deal with any
- 30:43Speaker 4: of that. I'm sure she is happy to lay low.
- 30:46Speaker 4: She's sort of a proven liar at this point, which
- 30:48Speaker 4: is probably her worst nightmare because she's kind of like Machiavellian.
- 30:51Speaker 5: Oh, right.
- 30:52Speaker 3: And then there's some song called Canceled where she refers
- 30:55Speaker 3: to a tiny violin and then in a text, she's like, oh,
- 30:58Speaker 3: he got out his tiny violin. And I'm like, also
- 31:00Speaker 3: not clever, not original. Tiny Violin was, like, something we
- 31:04Speaker 3: did in, like, high school. Like, it's not, like, a clever, like,
- 31:07Speaker 3: funny thing. They viciously hate him.
- 31:09Speaker 5: They hate him so much. I know.
- 31:11Speaker 4: It's really weird. It's like, I don't know, like, what
- 31:14Speaker 4: did he do, really? There's no smoking guns still after
- 31:18Speaker 4: all of this. And actually, the text— I told you, like,
- 31:20Speaker 4: the text messages between him and Jamie Heath are, like,
- 31:23Speaker 4: they're sad. Yeah. Because he's just kind of like, I
- 31:26Speaker 4: don't know like what to do. And he could see
- 31:28Speaker 4: what was happening. Like he could see that he was
- 31:30Speaker 4: being set up. She refused a body double. It had
- 31:35Speaker 4: to be her. She's still going on about this, this
- 31:39Speaker 4: birth scene where she's saying that she was like exposed.
- 31:42Speaker 3: And then there's, there's pictures of her with the longer
- 31:45Speaker 3: version where she not only had a A bodysuit on, like,
- 31:48Speaker 3: with a fake stomach, but then that also included covering
- 31:52Speaker 3: her genitalia. Right, of course. So you were wearing, like,
- 31:55Speaker 3: a one-piece bathing suit with a fake stomach, and yeah,
- 31:57Speaker 3: your legs are spread apart because you're giving birth, but
- 31:59Speaker 3: it's not like there was any kind of exposure down there.
- 32:03Speaker 4: Of course not. And then she's saying, like, his friend
- 32:06Speaker 4: was the actor that played the doctor, like— The insinuation
- 32:11Speaker 4: that he was creating this toxic set where he was
- 32:15Speaker 4: coming up with all these different plans to expose her.
- 32:17Speaker 3: To be able to smell her spray tan?
- 32:20Speaker 4: I know. I don't buy it. And then obviously all
- 32:23Speaker 4: the evidence is now proven.
- 32:24Speaker 3: So they're suing for $ 661 million or something.
- 32:28Speaker 4: And they won't let him countersue either. They dismiss the countersuit,
- 32:33Speaker 4: which is interesting.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 5: So then I guess what will happen is if she loses.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Then he could file a lawsuit and say, I need
- 32:45Speaker 3: whatever 400 million for what the hell you put me through.
- 32:48Speaker 4: It'll go on forever.
- 32:49Speaker 3: I mean, it is a lot. There's a lot of players.
- 32:53Speaker 3: There's a lot of emails, a lot of texts. So,
- 32:55Speaker 3: but the gist is Taylor and Blake were mean girls
- 33:01Speaker 3: that hated this boy is very high school-y and some
- 33:06Speaker 3: people just never change. And, it seems like there's a
- 33:10Speaker 3: lot of evidence in Justin's favor.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Yeah, he was too hot for his own good.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Really? When a hot guy doesn't like the woman that
- 33:20Speaker 3: wants to be liked, I don't know. Okay, now let's
- 33:23Speaker 3: talk about this whole Brooklyn Beckham's situation. So Brooklyn Beckham
- 33:29Speaker 3: is the oldest son of famed soccer star David and
- 33:33Speaker 3: his wife, Posh Spice, Victoria, fashion designer. And everyone thinks
- 33:39Speaker 3: they are the cutest family in the world because they are. Yes,
- 33:42Speaker 3: I agree.
- 33:42Speaker 5: There's three boys and then Harper's the girl.
- 33:44Speaker 4: Yes.
- 33:45Speaker 3: And now they're all in their 20s or late teens.
- 33:48Speaker 3: And Brooklyn gets married pretty young to this beautiful girl,
- 33:53Speaker 3: Nicola Peltz, whose dad happens to be a billionaire.
- 33:58Speaker 4: Yes.
- 33:59Speaker 3: But he's like a self-made billionaire, sort of. He had
- 34:02Speaker 3: a family company, but he bought Snapple.
- 34:06Speaker 5: It's all food stuff. But he's a legit billionaire.
- 34:09Speaker 3: And in that, she wanted to be an actress, but
- 34:11Speaker 3: all of the projects she shows just really didn't pop off.
- 34:15Speaker 4: I heard she got Razzie nominations, which is impressive.
- 34:19Speaker 3: But I mean, you know, she wasn't necessarily a nippo
- 34:21Speaker 3: in the business, but had a lot of connections to.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Yes.
- 34:24Speaker 5: But she's also extremely attractive.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Yes. I don't know if she's not a good actress
- 34:28Speaker 3: or she just kept choosing the wrong. Because I did
- 34:30Speaker 3: see something where it's like she could have done this thing.
- 34:32Speaker 3: She left a show to go be in this movie
- 34:34Speaker 3: and the movie bombed and she should have stayed on
- 34:36Speaker 3: the show and whatever. So they get married. And they've
- 34:40Speaker 3: been estranged from the parents. They didn't go to David
- 34:42Speaker 3: Beckham's 50th birthday. They said they were there. And then
- 34:46Speaker 3: the dad, they wanted to have a private dinner with them.
- 34:49Speaker 3: And the dad was like, no, just come to the
- 34:52Speaker 3: big party. And then they're feeling it. So nobody knew.
- 34:54Speaker 5: What was up. Back and forth.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Finally, Brooklyn over the weekend, the son writes this long
- 35:00Speaker 3: typed out post, like three of them and puts it
- 35:03Speaker 3: out on the internet. And it's basically like, We have
- 35:08Speaker 3: felt used by my family wanting to parade us as
- 35:11Speaker 3: the perfect family. You know, they've hurt my wife, who's
- 35:16Speaker 3: the most important thing, many times. She was so excited
- 35:19Speaker 3: to have Victoria Beckham do her wedding gown at the
- 35:22Speaker 3: last minute.
- 35:23Speaker 5: That was pulled out from under her.
- 35:25Speaker 3: And then at our wedding, Mark Anthony, who I guess
- 35:27Speaker 3: was the singer— came out and it was supposed to
- 35:31Speaker 3: be Brooklyn and Nicola's first dance, which is always the
- 35:34Speaker 3: first dance of the night when the wedding party comes in.
- 35:38Speaker 3: And instead, Mark Anthony said, Brooklyn, come dance with your mom.
- 35:43Speaker 3: And whatever this dance was, Brooklyn and Nicola in the
- 35:47Speaker 3: thing said it was very inappropriate and very embarrassing and humiliating.
- 35:52Speaker 3: And he's never been able to get over it since.
- 35:54Speaker 3: And everybody is like, where is that footage? And only
- 36:00Speaker 3: they have that footage. And they said they'll never release it.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Brooklyn and Nikola.
- 36:04Speaker 4: Yes.
- 36:04Speaker 3: So I'm guessing then they must have taken everyone's phones,
- 36:07Speaker 3: which a lot of people do at celebrity weddings.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Right.
- 36:10Speaker 3: But no one has brought it. But the jokes have
- 36:12Speaker 3: been very funny imagining what it would be like of
- 36:15Speaker 3: her having her mother son dance.
- 36:18Speaker 5: Yes.
- 36:19Speaker 4: The memes have been everywhere. I think that's the worst
- 36:21Speaker 4: part of the exposure is that he specifically talked about that.
- 36:26Speaker 4: And because now everybody wants to see like release the tapes.
- 36:29Speaker 4: I mean, I want to see the tapes too. But yeah,
- 36:33Speaker 4: it was a vicious takedown. You don't often see that
- 36:36Speaker 4: with celebrities that are at that level. And especially Victoria,
- 36:40Speaker 4: who I agree, like, I think that they're pretty strict
- 36:43Speaker 4: about their image, but that's to be expected when you're
- 36:46Speaker 4: at that level. So, yeah, to be exposed like that
- 36:50Speaker 4: by Brooklyn and Nicola is.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Pretty, it's pretty bad.
- 36:54Speaker 4: And I don't know, I don't know that there's going
- 36:56Speaker 4: back from this either.
- 36:57Speaker 3: I mean, it's really sad. I mean, as a mother
- 37:01Speaker 3: who has kids that are now young adults, and I
- 37:06Speaker 3: would You know, I've said like if my sons, when
- 37:10Speaker 3: they get married, you know, to a woman, I want
- 37:14Speaker 3: to be so respectful.
- 37:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:17Speaker 3: So I would never want to do this something. This
- 37:20Speaker 3: should be a lesson to everybody. Because once you get
- 37:23Speaker 3: to a certain level with your son's wife.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Yes.
- 37:26Speaker 5: You're not going to come back from that.
- 37:28Speaker 4: Well, they say this about in-laws. When your son gets
- 37:33Speaker 4: married to a woman, the son is going to spend
- 37:36Speaker 4: most of his time with her family.
- 37:38Speaker 3: I know. That's the sad part.
- 37:39Speaker 4: Yeah, and I think also when you have a strong
- 37:42Speaker 4: maternal figure, you often gravitate toward that for your spouse.
- 37:47Speaker 4: And so when you have two women that want to
- 37:50Speaker 4: be the queen bee, you butt heads a lot. And
- 37:53Speaker 4: so you do have to be kind of careful about
- 37:54Speaker 4: that relationship because it happens all the time in real life.
- 37:58Speaker 4: We're just seeing it play out with like a mega
- 38:01Speaker 4: celebrities right now. But it's that dynamic happens all the time.
- 38:05Speaker 3: And, you know, I've seen a lot of things where,
- 38:08Speaker 3: you know, a lot of things on TikTok, which is
- 38:11Speaker 3: very negative towards the mother-in-law. Everything is like, oh, my God,
- 38:14Speaker 3: you know, the balloons go and oh, it's a boy.
- 38:17Speaker 3: And the mom runs to her son instead of letting
- 38:20Speaker 3: the two of them hug about the gender reveal or
- 38:23Speaker 3: or the mother son dance.
- 38:25Speaker 5: First of all, I want to say. there's things we
- 38:28Speaker 5: need to get rid of in 2026.
- 38:29Speaker 3: You know, I've said a bunch of things that we've said. Um,
- 38:35Speaker 3: you know curated that's another one yeah okay anyway I
- 38:39Speaker 3: I feel like all these words but also these elaborate
- 38:42Speaker 3: dance routines oh like oh my god I mean I
- 38:46Speaker 3: can't believe what bridesmaids have to be put through like
- 38:49Speaker 3: now you have to go no and go to a
- 38:51Speaker 3: dance hall and like practice it's so cringy it's so
- 38:55Speaker 3: cringy and then I saw like a mother and son
- 38:58Speaker 3: long dance and then I'm like oh my God. And
- 39:01Speaker 3: then it does go viral. And then they can't, you know,
- 39:04Speaker 3: because it's like, you can't believe it. But with this,
- 39:06Speaker 3: I just feel like since we did not see it.
- 39:12Speaker 3: It's open to interpretation. Nobody, nobody else is saying, Hey,
- 39:17Speaker 3: I was at the wedding. I was the cater waiter.
- 39:20Speaker 3: And she literally put him in a chair, did a strap,
- 39:23Speaker 3: you know, put on a strap on. I mean, I
- 39:26Speaker 3: don't know what you want to say.
- 39:28Speaker 4: Like but even so like that's a memory that should
- 39:30Speaker 4: like remain in the past even if that happened and
- 39:33Speaker 4: it was cringy I don't think that people are like
- 39:35Speaker 4: still bringing it up so to then expose it.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Like this I think yeah I think it was you
- 39:40Speaker 3: know her you.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Think it was Nicola don't you yes I think he's
- 39:44Speaker 2: absolutely pussy whipped I think she has It's that type
- 39:48Speaker 2: of thing where also he's not a soccer star.
- 39:52Speaker 5: He tried to be a chef. He tried to be
- 39:54Speaker 5: a photographer. So bad.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Her family is beyond billions.
- 39:58Speaker 4: Right.
- 39:59Speaker 3: Yes, the Beckhams are rich and famous. But they still
- 40:03Speaker 3: have to sell some dresses. They still have to do some,
- 40:06Speaker 3: you know, Paco Rabanne ads. They have to go and
- 40:10Speaker 3: do a very exposing Netflix doc to stay relevant. I mean,
- 40:15Speaker 3: I'm sure if they had billions, they'd probably be like, no,
- 40:18Speaker 3: let's not expose the fact that dad had an affair.
- 40:21Speaker 5: Okay. Like, can we not do that?
- 40:23Speaker 3: Like, but we have to, because we, so I kind
- 40:27Speaker 3: of think that he's gotten real comfortable and maybe her
- 40:31Speaker 3: billionaire family thinks like that sort of Kardashian-ish kind of desperate.
- 40:36Speaker 3: And then she's in his ear, like, all this stuff,
- 40:40Speaker 3: you know, just like, but in.
- 40:41Speaker 4: My opinion, she is, she's the one that's getting in
- 40:44Speaker 4: the New York post and like exposing some of this
- 40:46Speaker 4: stuff in the New York post. And that's why I'm
- 40:48Speaker 4: like sort of confused because she's.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Putting what originally put it out there because he's the
- 40:53Speaker 3: one that wrote it. I, Right. But if you were
- 40:56Speaker 3: she wrote it, she wrote it, posted it on his thing.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:59Speaker 4: The stories that have been first of all, everybody knew
- 41:02Speaker 4: that there was a rift. Right. Because they're posting pictures
- 41:04Speaker 4: from like David Beckham's 50th birthday party. They're not there.
- 41:08Speaker 4: They're posting pictures on family vacations. They're obviously absent from that.
- 41:12Speaker 4: So there was rumblings that there was clearly like there
- 41:15Speaker 4: was something going on. There's been many stories in the
- 41:19Speaker 4: New York Post recently in the last, you know, four
- 41:21Speaker 4: or five months that are talking about it. And the
- 41:25Speaker 4: way that it's written, it seems like, in my opinion,
- 41:27Speaker 4: that it's coming from Nicola in Brooklyn's camp.
- 41:31Speaker 3: I mean, I just want to say to all these
- 41:32Speaker 3: women that are like awful about their mother-in-laws, like karma's
- 41:36Speaker 3: a bitch.
- 41:39Speaker 5: 100%.
- 41:39Speaker 3: 100%. Karma's when you have a little boy and you're
- 41:42Speaker 3: mean to your mother-in-law. You're going to be the in-laws.
- 41:44Speaker 5: And now your little boy.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Doesn't talk to you. And you're 60 and you don't
- 41:47Speaker 3: get to see your grandkids. Maybe you should have been
- 41:49Speaker 3: nicer to your mother-in-law.
- 41:50Speaker 4: Well, you're going to be the in-law at some point.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Exactly. If you have a son. If you have a son.
- 41:55Speaker 5: I'm like, so I, my mother-in-law, I've always said is just,
- 41:59Speaker 5: was just wonderful.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Right.
- 42:01Speaker 3: And like, you know, I just like when she was
- 42:04Speaker 3: going to stay with me for a week and my
- 42:06Speaker 3: mom lived down this, you know, within a mile and
- 42:09Speaker 3: she's like, I don't want to step on any toes.
- 42:10Speaker 3: And I'm like, no, my mom's like thrilled. My mom's
- 42:12Speaker 3: not going to spend the night. Like, It's like having
- 42:14Speaker 3: a nurse.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 42:15Speaker 5: She was the best.
- 42:17Speaker 3: But I also.
- 42:18Speaker 5: But that's why I feel like, you know, I don't
- 42:20Speaker 5: ever want to be like that.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Right.
- 42:21Speaker 3: But I also, like, stop being such a... Like, all
- 42:24Speaker 3: these young girls being such a bitch about the... Yeah,
- 42:27Speaker 3: it's your son. Your son does want to talk to
- 42:29Speaker 3: his mom sometimes. He does enjoy her company. Like, stop
- 42:33Speaker 3: being such a fucking bitch about it. Well, you know what?
- 42:35Speaker 3: You knew the family you were marrying into.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:38Speaker 4: Like, you weren't going to come into that family and
- 42:40Speaker 4: then be the queen bee. It's very Meghan Markle coded.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Honestly, it's like.
- 42:44Speaker 4: You knew the family that you were marrying into. There
- 42:46Speaker 4: are certain parameters that come with marriage. There are certain
- 42:50Speaker 4: concessions that you have to make, right? And so you
- 42:53Speaker 4: can't enter into a family like that and then think
- 42:56Speaker 4: that you're going to change the dynamics of the family
- 42:58Speaker 4: and the way that things go. I would love to
- 43:00Speaker 4: have Victoria Beckham as my mother-in-law.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Are you kidding me?
- 43:03Speaker 4: It's like you have to fall in line. But I
- 43:06Speaker 4: think that that was never going to happen with her.
- 43:09Speaker 4: And so, yeah, it adds up. I'm sure I doubt
- 43:12Speaker 4: that Victoria was like completely innocent all this. I'm sure
- 43:15Speaker 4: it is a difficult family. But I did want to
- 43:17Speaker 4: point out that the story that that was the first
- 43:20Speaker 4: dance has sort of been debunked. Like they they dance
- 43:23Speaker 4: to some Elvis, an Elvis song.
- 43:26Speaker 6: But it's OK.
- 43:27Speaker 3: So even though that was debunked, but even if it wasn't,
- 43:30Speaker 3: it sounds like it was Mark Anthony, you know, just
- 43:35Speaker 3: being in the moment and being like, this would be
- 43:38Speaker 3: so great, you know? And, like, poor Mark Anthony. Like,
- 43:41Speaker 3: he just was happy to get the $ 200, 000 gig or
- 43:45Speaker 3: whatever while he tries to sell jeans at Kohl's.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Yes.
- 43:48Speaker 4: And.
- 43:49Speaker 3: And now it's like, oh my God, I really fucked
- 43:51Speaker 3: up by doing that. I mean, I've done that.
- 43:53Speaker 5: I've been at a wedding.
- 43:54Speaker 3: I mean, stuff happens at weddings.
- 43:55Speaker 4: And I've been like, I'd like to give a speech.
- 43:57Speaker 3: I know. And I still sometimes wake up in the
- 43:59Speaker 3: middle of the night and remember it. And I'm like,
- 44:01Speaker 3: why was I doing that?
- 44:01Speaker 5: I wasn't part of the wedding.
- 44:02Speaker 3: I wasn't like, but I was feeling the charm.
- 44:05Speaker 2: 100%.
- 44:05Speaker 3: And I wanted to just cry and say how much
- 44:07Speaker 3: I loved this family. And I will never do that again.
- 44:13Speaker 4: Shit happens at weddings. That's why it's crazy to come
- 44:15Speaker 4: out like all this time later. There were, he could
- 44:19Speaker 4: have said, he could have got to the point differently too,
- 44:21Speaker 4: because I feel like he really gave like a lot
- 44:24Speaker 4: of details and it was like scathing.
- 44:26Speaker 3: And it was really like, I almost feel like she,
- 44:28Speaker 3: this is what I think. I think she's very smart.
- 44:30Speaker 3: I think she knew by him putting it out there,
- 44:32Speaker 3: because he didn't have to. No, like just, he could
- 44:36Speaker 3: have just been silent. It could have gone another year
- 44:38Speaker 3: and then they could have been like, hey. You know
- 44:40Speaker 3: who didn't spend Christmas together? We would have forgotten about it. 100%.
- 44:43Speaker 3: But we put it out in this long thing and
- 44:45Speaker 3: explaining all these instances and you do it publicly and
- 44:48Speaker 3: you say, we don't want to be on the red
- 44:49Speaker 3: carpet in your perfect public thing. And it's really sad too,
- 44:53Speaker 3: because he has, you know, three siblings and now, you know,
- 44:57Speaker 3: but hey, that happens. That's been happening in families forever
- 45:00Speaker 3: where one person just has left the family and oh,
- 45:03Speaker 3: we haven't talked to that sibling and 20 years.
- 45:06Speaker 5: I understand why it can happen. I just, I just
- 45:09Speaker 5: think it's really sad. And I am.
- 45:12Speaker 4: I don't think you should air, like, I think about
- 45:15Speaker 4: this all the time on TikTok. People airing out their
- 45:18Speaker 4: families and even just people that they know in life.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Like, it's very willy nilly. I just got out of
- 45:25Speaker 3: the carpool line and some of the moms here told
- 45:28Speaker 3: me that I couldn't bring my favorite muffins. And I'm like,
- 45:32Speaker 3: do you think these moms now are going to want
- 45:34Speaker 3: to be your friend when they're passing this TikTok to
- 45:37Speaker 3: everybody in their neighborhood? Like, Like, stop.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Like, what do you expect?
- 45:42Speaker 4: Also, why does he expect that that family image would
- 45:45Speaker 4: not be curated? Like, your mother is Victoria Beckham. Your
- 45:48Speaker 4: dad is David Beckham. And then I see people that
- 45:51Speaker 4: are like, oh, well, they used to pay the paparazzi, like,
- 45:53Speaker 4: back in the day, like, in the early 2000s.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Like, yeah, that's how it used to be.
- 45:57Speaker 4: I don't find them to seem thirsty or fake at all.
- 46:02Speaker 3: I think that they.
- 46:03Speaker 5: Just— Listen, this is their business. She had to do it.
- 46:06Speaker 3: She had a reality show on E!, a long time
- 46:10Speaker 3: ago where she went and like met Perez Hilton at
- 46:13Speaker 3: a diner. Went to the DMV. Like when he had
- 46:16Speaker 3: a blog. Yeah.
- 46:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:17Speaker 3: Like she had, they had to do this stuff, you know,
- 46:20Speaker 3: and she wanted to do it because she is a performer. And,
- 46:24Speaker 3: but then she got, you know, into like raising these
- 46:26Speaker 3: on there all have good jaw lines and they're all
- 46:28Speaker 3: great looking.
- 46:30Speaker 5: And, but somebody brought this up. This was, um, wait,
- 46:33Speaker 5: hold on. I went like, I don't know.
- 46:35Speaker 3: The tattoo.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:36Speaker 5: Like he has Brooklyn.
- 46:38Speaker 3: He has the Brooklyn tattoo as a tramp stamp. David,
- 46:42Speaker 3: because that was his first baby.
- 46:43Speaker 4: I know those were the days, but yeah, it's, it's,
- 46:47Speaker 4: it's unfortunate the whole thing, because I also feel like
- 46:51Speaker 4: they're more powerful together. Like Brooklyn and Nicola, like they're
- 46:55Speaker 4: more powerful with a connection to the, to the Beckham family.
- 46:58Speaker 4: So now that they've kind of like annexed themselves from that,
- 47:01Speaker 4: it's like, No one was really checking on you guys
- 47:03Speaker 4: to begin with. What's interesting to you is your connection
- 47:07Speaker 4: to your family.
- 47:08Speaker 3: And so I don't know where it goes from here either.
- 47:10Speaker 2: I do.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I do.
- 47:11Speaker 5: I just had a prediction. It just came to me.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:13Speaker 4: What is it?
- 47:14Speaker 3: Meghan Markle is going to reach out to Nicola because
- 47:16Speaker 3: she's going to say, oh.
- 47:17Speaker 5: My God, I have been in your place.
- 47:20Speaker 3: Yes. Also, we need some billionaire friends and I need
- 47:24Speaker 3: a new friend with a jet.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Speaking of, you know, her and Selena Gomez, like there's
- 47:28Speaker 4: like a mystery falling out between them.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Who?
- 47:31Speaker 4: Nicola in Brooklyn. Very good friends with Selena Gomez. They
- 47:34Speaker 4: were not invited to Selena Gomez or they didn't attend.
- 47:38Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:39Speaker 4: So people have been talking about that. Like what happened
- 47:41Speaker 4: with that friendship? Because they were kind of all over
- 47:43Speaker 4: each other for a minute.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Well, Justin Anderson, who is a famous hairstylist, I believe
- 47:50Speaker 3: he's also Kristen Cavallari's best friend. Yeah, I trust him.
- 47:54Speaker 3: I trust him. I trust him. Yeah. He said that
- 47:58Speaker 3: he did his own TikTok saying that Nicola was a
- 48:03Speaker 3: bad apple, totally supports the Beckham family, said that she
- 48:06Speaker 3: was one of the most entitled, awful people he's ever
- 48:09Speaker 3: worked with. Yes.
- 48:11Speaker 5: So, you know, the hairstylists, they can tell on you.
- 48:14Speaker 4: Listen, there's been a rumor about her.
- 48:17Speaker 5: If someone does my hair and makeup and I hate it,
- 48:19Speaker 5: I say, I love it.
- 48:22Speaker 3: I say, I love it. It's never looked better. And
- 48:25Speaker 3: here's a big tip. And then I go into the
- 48:27Speaker 3: bathroom and I fix my brows. It's a scary place
- 48:31Speaker 3: to be.
- 48:32Speaker 4: I know you don't want to piss those people off.
- 48:34Speaker 4: And he, he, I don't think that he would, I
- 48:36Speaker 4: think what happened was he had mentioned that before. Yeah.
- 48:39Speaker 4: So I don't think that he would have come out
- 48:40Speaker 4: now and just like blindly said it, but it was
- 48:42Speaker 4: already out there. So, I mean, I, he doesn't, he
- 48:45Speaker 4: doesn't speak out a lot about stuff like that. So
- 48:47Speaker 4: I trust, I trust that what he's saying is true.
- 48:50Speaker 4: And there's also like when, when I first became aware
- 48:53Speaker 4: of her and this is many, many years ago, it
- 48:54Speaker 4: was like a blind item that said she allegedly like
- 48:57Speaker 4: as a child, yeah. Had like pushed her nanny down
- 49:00Speaker 4: the stairs. That's like an OG story about her.
- 49:02Speaker 3: And was that, did they mean like a nanny that
- 49:04Speaker 3: was a caretaker? Did they mean like a grandma nanny?
- 49:06Speaker 4: No, like one of her, no, like a caretaker, like
- 49:08Speaker 4: one of her nannies.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:09Speaker 4: I don't think she, luckily I don't think it was
- 49:11Speaker 4: the grandma.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Yes.
- 49:12Speaker 5: And I, and now people can't find that article.
- 49:15Speaker 4: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 49:16Speaker 3: That's interesting.
- 49:17Speaker 4: Oh, because people are saying, because you know how celebrities will,
- 49:20Speaker 4: like Taylor Swift, for instance, when they were talking about
- 49:23Speaker 4: her jet use, she went to a Jets game. So
- 49:26Speaker 4: that when you Google Taylor Swift jet, the Jets game comes.
- 49:29Speaker 3: Oh my God, that's so interesting.
- 49:31Speaker 4: So they said that Nicola did that with her nanny.
- 49:34Speaker 4: That's why like, because she calls her grandmother nanny, whatever.
- 49:38Speaker 4: And so they were like, oh, um, nanny whatever sat
- 49:41Speaker 4: with them at the sweetheart table at the wedding so
- 49:44Speaker 4: now that now that buries that story but that story
- 49:48Speaker 4: that story has been around for so long that was
- 49:50Speaker 4: before she dated anwar because now they're saying she did
- 49:54Speaker 4: anwar hadid.
- 49:55Speaker 5: Oh and they're saying that.
- 49:57Speaker 4: There was the same drama son they said yolanda reached
- 50:00Speaker 4: out to victoria that's like daily mail so i don't
- 50:02Speaker 4: know if it's true oh.
- 50:03Speaker 3: My god yolanda and.
- 50:06Speaker 5: Victoria could just go have a cute lunch somewhere.
- 50:09Speaker 4: I wouldn't go head to head with Yolanda.
- 50:11Speaker 5: I wouldn't either.
- 50:13Speaker 3: She's scary.
- 50:13Speaker 4: So, yeah, they said that when she was dating Anwar.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Hello, my love. I made you the lemon chicken.
- 50:20Speaker 4: Oh, my gosh.
- 50:21Speaker 3: Anwar loves the lemon chicken.
- 50:22Speaker 1: I know.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Yeah, scary.
- 50:25Speaker 4: But they said that when she dated Anwar that he
- 50:30Speaker 4: wasn't really speaking with his family. So this might be
- 50:34Speaker 4: a pattern. I know. We need to hear from Yolanda.
- 50:37Speaker 4: I'm sure she would love to talk about it. Well,
- 50:40Speaker 4: but anyways, yeah, it's a crazy story.
- 50:42Speaker 5: You better stay away from my cute boys, Nicola.
- 50:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:46Speaker 5: Um, wait, there was one other thing here. Um, let's see.
- 50:51Speaker 4: Okay.
- 50:52Speaker 3: So there you go with that. I hope it works
- 50:54Speaker 3: out now. Another exciting thing happened in just the other day.
- 50:59Speaker 3: So Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, but now they
- 51:02Speaker 3: call it the Fab Five.
- 51:03Speaker 5: What is the name of the show now?
- 51:04Speaker 4: I think it's still Queer Eye. They've always been the
- 51:06Speaker 4: Fab Five, haven't they?
- 51:07Speaker 5: But it's Queer Eye Not for the Straight.
- 51:09Speaker 3: So originally Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was on Bravo,
- 51:13Speaker 3: and I remember when they made their first Oprah appearance.
- 51:17Speaker 5: Everyone loved the show.
- 51:18Speaker 4: Yes.
- 51:19Speaker 5: And it was where.
- 51:20Speaker 3: five gay guys would take over like, you know, a
- 51:24Speaker 3: straight guy's apartment that has never like, you know, been
- 51:28Speaker 3: introduced to like a toenail clipper.
- 51:30Speaker 5: And it was just like really funny and sweet.
- 51:33Speaker 3: And then they came back and did a revamped version.
- 51:37Speaker 3: None of the original men were invited. And that's been
- 51:40Speaker 3: on 10 seasons on Netflix. And so this is the
- 51:44Speaker 3: final season and they're launching this season on Netflix. And
- 51:48Speaker 3: they go to Jenna Hager. Wait, Jenna Bush Hager.
- 51:56Speaker 4: Jenna Bush Hager.
- 51:57Speaker 5: Jenna Bush Hager.
- 51:58Speaker 4: Hello.
- 51:59Speaker 5: It's the final.
- 52:00Speaker 3: It's Jenna Bush Hager and her new partner and co-host.
- 52:04Speaker 3: And they are all there to talk about it. It's
- 52:11Speaker 3: so funny. And Jenna's like, you know, well, we're so
- 52:14Speaker 3: excited to have all of you guys here, but clearly
- 52:16Speaker 3: one of you are missing.
- 52:18Speaker 5: And- What's his, how do you say his name?
- 52:20Speaker 3: Karamo. And Karamo's assistant did send us this video. And
- 52:26Speaker 3: then Karamo, who is the black bald guy, of course
- 52:30Speaker 3: they're all gay.
- 52:32Speaker 5: What is his talent?
- 52:34Speaker 3: I think he's the culture guy. Whatever that means.
- 52:38Speaker 5: To buy a bunch of Tom Ford books or something?
- 52:40Speaker 3: Whatever that means.
- 52:40Speaker 5: Put it on your coffee table? Okay, anyway. So he
- 52:43Speaker 5: comes on and.
- 52:44Speaker 3: He's like, hi, I'm really sorry I couldn't be there,
- 52:47Speaker 3: but I need to do what I do best, and
- 52:52Speaker 3: that is protect my mental health. And I cannot be
- 52:56Speaker 3: in a place that is not safe for me mentally.
- 53:00Speaker 3: But I can't believe we've done so many great shows.
- 53:03Speaker 3: I love the crew. I love the Netflix execs. I
- 53:07Speaker 3: love our producer. I love the craft lady. Shout out
- 53:12Speaker 3: to Amelia. All of you have made such an incredible show,
- 53:16Speaker 3: and I'm honored to be a part of it. And again,
- 53:17Speaker 3: I'm really sorry that I'm not sitting on that couch,
- 53:21Speaker 3: but I'd like to not be in a mental state
- 53:24Speaker 3: of distress. Not going to say anymore.
- 53:27Speaker 4: So awkward.
- 53:28Speaker 3: Bye-bye. And I'm like, so then they're all sitting there.
- 53:32Speaker 3: And they're all holding hands like they're Ariana and Cynthia.
- 53:36Speaker 4: It reminds me of the Wicked Press Tour.
- 53:39Speaker 3: It's so terrifying for us to be here.
- 53:42Speaker 4: It's like they were about to get bad news from
- 53:45Speaker 4: a doctor or something.
- 53:46Speaker 3: They're bracing for it. It's insane. And so they're all
- 53:48Speaker 3: holding hands.
- 53:50Speaker 4: What's wrong with Gigi's friend, by the way? He looks
- 53:54Speaker 4: like he's been windblown.
- 53:55Speaker 3: The one on the left. What do you mean Gigi?
- 53:57Speaker 4: Oh, he's friends with Gigi Hadid.
- 53:59Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 54:00Speaker 4: Yeah, so I don't know.
- 54:01Speaker 3: The whole... Yes, the whole scene is... They're holding hands
- 54:06Speaker 3: and I think there was another show they were on
- 54:07Speaker 3: where they were holding hands.
- 54:08Speaker 5: Wait.
- 54:09Speaker 3: There was another show... No, they went on a... With
- 54:12Speaker 3: Gayle King.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Yes.
- 54:13Speaker 3: They were on Gayle King shows. And that one, there
- 54:16Speaker 3: was a little split. So two of them had to
- 54:20Speaker 3: hold hands and the other two had to hold hands.
- 54:23Speaker 3: And in one of them, Jonathan, who's wearing a Victoria
- 54:26Speaker 3: Beckham long dress off the shoulder, because why not? And
- 54:30Speaker 3: he's like, I think it's great that he's not here.
- 54:34Speaker 3: He should protect his mental health. And we're here to
- 54:39Speaker 3: say it's wonderful. And in this world where we are just,
- 54:44Speaker 3: you know, we are fighting the criticism and the lack
- 54:47Speaker 3: of acceptance in the world today. And it could not
- 54:51Speaker 3: be a more important time to be out there and
- 54:54Speaker 3: helping people. And we would rather not reflect on any negativity.
- 54:59Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, my God.
- 55:00Speaker 4: So.
- 55:02Speaker 5: Obviously, you guys were bitches.
- 55:04Speaker 3: Yes. To poor little, this is what I think Karamo
- 55:10Speaker 3: wants us to get out.
- 55:11Speaker 4: Yes.
- 55:12Speaker 3: That they were all mean to him.
- 55:14Speaker 5: He's bullied.
- 55:15Speaker 3: They didn't invite him to the lunch table. He opened
- 55:18Speaker 3: up his phone and they went to a dinner without him.
- 55:21Speaker 3: he saw the article on toxic moms and saw that
- 55:24Speaker 3: Ashley Tisdale was getting so much action and might get
- 55:27Speaker 3: a limited series based on her cut article that he's like, Oh, uh,
- 55:31Speaker 3: fuck you. Toxic mom. We're going to take one more
- 55:33Speaker 3: thing from you. We are now going to be the toxic, um,
- 55:37Speaker 3: gay eyes and we're going to make our own real
- 55:39Speaker 3: housewife drama. And you know, I'm not showing up for
- 55:43Speaker 3: the reunion and essentially this is the reunion and I'm
- 55:46Speaker 3: not going to do it.
- 55:47Speaker 4: I know. He also sent his assistant sent an email
- 55:52Speaker 4: that said that he had been bullied. They sent an
- 55:55Speaker 4: email first, and then he also included the clip for
- 55:58Speaker 4: them to play while these four sat here holding hands.
- 56:01Speaker 3: I have to say, it's pretty genius, clout-chasing... PR move.
- 56:06Speaker 4: It is.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Because it's the end of the thing. So he's not
- 56:09Speaker 3: risking not being asked back. He never has to work
- 56:13Speaker 3: with these fuckers again. Maybe they were really awful. And
- 56:16Speaker 3: now people that I didn't even, I still can't pronounce
- 56:19Speaker 3: his name. I forgot about him. And now we're talking
- 56:22Speaker 3: about it. And if they had all gone on the
- 56:24Speaker 3: show together and been like, oh, it's so great. We
- 56:26Speaker 3: helped this one person in a wheelchair and another person
- 56:29Speaker 3: that didn't, had never heard of curtains. Then we would
- 56:32Speaker 3: have just been like, oh, whatever. That was another stupid
- 56:34Speaker 3: Today Show thing. And they hit five shows and they
- 56:36Speaker 3: said the same thing in every single one. Nobody would
- 56:38Speaker 3: have covered it.
- 56:39Speaker 4: No. I think that they've had drama from the very beginning, though.
- 56:43Speaker 4: Different different members of the cast have fought with each other.
- 56:46Speaker 4: Like Karamo had a he had some problem with Tan,
- 56:49Speaker 4: who is the the one that's holding hands with.
- 56:52Speaker 5: The white hair.
- 56:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:55Speaker 4: Anyways, he had problems with him before.
- 56:56Speaker 3: There was a Burke left. He left last season.
- 56:59Speaker 4: So this guy on the right is brand new.
- 57:01Speaker 3: He was very weepy.
- 57:03Speaker 5: Robbie Burke was the cook or the interior designer.
- 57:06Speaker 4: I believe he was the... Gigi Hadid's friend is the cook.
- 57:08Speaker 3: I do know that. I don't know his name, but...
- 57:10Speaker 3: I just remember one of the times before Bobby Burke
- 57:12Speaker 3: left and he came on Juicy Scoop, people were like,
- 57:17Speaker 3: Bobby Burke's doing all the work. Like, to redo an
- 57:20Speaker 3: entire apartment... And that's a lot harder than cutting someone's hair.
- 57:24Speaker 5: Right.
- 57:25Speaker 3: And, you know, trimming their beard or even making a
- 57:29Speaker 3: simple meal or even getting someone some new clothes.
- 57:32Speaker 5: You know, like, those are all one-day deals.
- 57:35Speaker 4: Yes.
- 57:36Speaker 3: Interior designing an entire apartment... is huge. I agree.
- 57:40Speaker 5: So, like, I think that was part of it, too,
- 57:43Speaker 5: is that he felt like he was, you know.
- 57:44Speaker 3: I think they all hate... I really do think they
- 57:46Speaker 3: all hate each other.
- 57:47Speaker 4: Because the other thing is that, like, when I was, like,
- 57:49Speaker 4: perusing different articles, there's so many articles about different groups
- 57:53Speaker 4: being in fights with.
- 57:55Speaker 3: They're in a fight with this guy. I wish I knew.
- 57:57Speaker 4: Gigi Hadid's friend, but I really only know him by that.
- 58:00Speaker 4: He didn't invite them to like his bachelor party. And
- 58:03Speaker 4: the funny thing is, is like not only is all
- 58:05Speaker 4: of this happening, but then somebody is clearly leaking it
- 58:07Speaker 4: to the press.
- 58:08Speaker 3: So I think that they're all. they're all fighting.
- 58:11Speaker 4: Behind the scenes. And then this was, yeah, this was
- 58:13Speaker 4: like the crescendo.
- 58:14Speaker 3: But still the producers are thrilled because people had never
- 58:16Speaker 3: watched it or like, Oh, I want to see these
- 58:18Speaker 3: bitches go head to head.
- 58:19Speaker 5: Oh, for sure.
- 58:20Speaker 3: Like, you know, like, and, and I wonder if they're
- 58:22Speaker 3: even going back and like recunning episodes to keep like
- 58:26Speaker 3: snarky moments in. Cause now they're like, Oh, now it's
- 58:28Speaker 3: all out. Our, our dirty laundry is out just like
- 58:30Speaker 3: the Beckham's. Might as well show it, get people to
- 58:33Speaker 3: watch it.
- 58:33Speaker 4: Well, and it's funny because every single show that they
- 58:35Speaker 4: go on, they begin it by being like, Karamo's not here.
- 58:38Speaker 4: Like that, that's a whole, yeah, that's the story to
- 58:41Speaker 4: begin with.
- 58:42Speaker 3: And then, yeah, they get into- Wait, I know, but
- 58:43Speaker 3: I thought, wait, I thought he did, You mean the
- 58:46Speaker 3: old episodes?
- 58:46Speaker 4: No, I'm talking about like Jenna. They opened any interview. Yes,
- 58:51Speaker 4: any press interview that they're doing right now.
- 58:53Speaker 5: I thought you meant the shows where they go to
- 58:54Speaker 5: someone's house.
- 58:55Speaker 3: No, no.
- 58:56Speaker 4: Any press interview that they've done that I've seen, like
- 58:58Speaker 4: they open. It's very awkward. It's like they're opening with this.
- 59:01Speaker 4: He's been bullied. But they also don't ask them, like,
- 59:04Speaker 4: what is he talking about? They kind of just like
- 59:06Speaker 4: leave it open. And I will say that they're all
- 59:08Speaker 4: very well press trained.
- 59:10Speaker 3: I mean, here's the thing. It's like another thing, you know,
- 59:14Speaker 3: everyone can always say for my mental health. Yeah.
- 59:16Speaker 5: Mental health.
- 59:17Speaker 3: I cannot do the show today for my mental health.
- 59:20Speaker 3: I cannot go to this dinner. Because I'd rather lay
- 59:24Speaker 3: in my bed and it's raining and I committed and
- 59:26Speaker 3: it's not good for my mental health to go in
- 59:27Speaker 3: my bathroom and start blowing out my hair. It's like
- 59:30Speaker 3: not like. like it's a little, you know, I mean,
- 59:33Speaker 3: when people, it gives me anxiety. I'm like, I didn't
- 59:35Speaker 3: even know what anxiety was until like three years ago.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Anxiety means you're nervous.
- 59:39Speaker 5: I know.
- 59:39Speaker 3: You're stressed about something because you're doing a big project
- 59:42Speaker 3: at work because you have an audition because you have
- 59:44Speaker 3: a big game today.
- 59:45Speaker 4: Yes.
- 59:46Speaker 3: You have to have your emotions fluctuate at some point.
- 59:49Speaker 3: You can't be just completely like Prozac happy every minute
- 59:53Speaker 3: of every day. And that's not what a human is.
- 59:56Speaker 1: I know.
- 59:57Speaker 3: I completely agree.
- 59:57Speaker 4: I also think like, is there an age limit on
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: being bullied? Like you're a grown man and like, look
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: at who you're.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: Being bullied by.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: This guy that's in a full ball gown with banana
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: curls and a beard. And he has to hold, you know,
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: Tan's hand through this. It's like, this is kind of crazy. Like,
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: I don't, I don't know.
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: How terrible was it?
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: You were being shoved into a locker. No one put
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: your head in a pissy toilet. No one was like,
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: when he got there, someone put a big shit in
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: a box and sent it to him. And he was like,
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: ready to unbox this Louis Vuitton purse. What?
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: It was a big shit.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: And the four of them are like, he thought he
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: was getting a Louis Vuitton backpack.
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: Like, what the fuck was it?
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: Well, in all the shows, it's like, you're being bullied
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: on this show?
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: I don't know. It's like, I'm sorry. I need more details.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: You could not be more accepted and more loved by everybody.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: But no, we have to make sure that you guys
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: know that we're not. Well, I'm not. They were mean.
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: Who's going to hire him also? Like, you got to
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: show up, fulfill the commitment. This is like the 10th season.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: I guess to your point, like this is much, this
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: is more interesting and it's going to draw up more
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: drama and press. But it's like at the end of
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: the day, just show up and do your job. You're
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: going to do a pre-taped thing. Although I think it's hilarious.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: I think on a petty level, like it's really funny,
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: especially to watch them have to like sit there.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: Like, look at this picture.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: It's so, it is really funny to me, but it's
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: like very unprofessional. And I think that you said like,
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: you know, Lisa Vanderpump is really the only person that
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: never showed up.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: She did not go to the reunion because she didn't
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: want to answer Puppygate stuff. I believe she gave up
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: something like $ 250, 000.
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: I've heard that's how much you get paid. It's a
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: big payday. Um, but in the end she was smart
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: because she still had her other shows.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: Now she has multiple other restaurants outside of California and
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: she probably was smart enough to realize that if I
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: have to be put in that situation where I don't
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: have control over the editing, I don't want them bringing
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: up something that proves maybe what I've said in the
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: past isn't totally true or whatever.
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: I'm sticking with my narrative that I didn't call.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: Right online and say that Dorit Brought the dog to
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: the death shelter. I never said that. I'm not going to.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: I don't sell stories to read online. So I think
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: she waited out. And she was right. It wasn't worth $ 250.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: What's $ 250 to her? Absolutely nothing.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: And so maybe this guy happened to have a rainy
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: day and he happened to watch that season of Housewives
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: and he was like, I'm going to pull Lisa Vanderpump
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: and I'm going to get even more successful by not
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: going and holding hands with these people. Right.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: Well, and having the, it is very funny to have
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: your assistant send an email to, to go along with
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: it where you, yes, you were so bullied, but it's a.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Lot of drama.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: But I think that, like I said, I think there's
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: been a lot of drama on the show and it
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: kind of makes sense because it is, I think anytime
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: you have an ensemble cast and you have like a
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: lot of big personalities. But I will say the women
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: on Bravo, they show up.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: They show up. But just like Housewives, they get jealous
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: over who got the who got the deal. Oh, you know,
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: on Salt Lake City, Angie got a commercial for food.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: And then, you know, about franchises that you sell French fries,
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: I sell French fries, franchise, whatever. And does that take
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: away from the fact that Lisa Barlow also, I was
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: the first woman that was drinking, you know, fast food drinks.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: It's like there's enough for everybody, but there is that outside.
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: And with this, I'm sure brand deals are huge for
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: all of them.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Oh, yes. You know, so there was probably a crossover
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: brand deal that. you know, someone squeeze where there's some
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: email where they're like, you know, you don't need a
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: tan and Camaro. You could just have tan for half.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: And then that person accidentally like sent that reply and
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: it got to, you never will. We won't know. We
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: won't know.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: He did unfollow. He unfollowed all of them except for
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: the new guy.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: The one that says I'm the new gal.
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: And he was very weepy. He turned on the waterworks.
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: It did remind me of the Wicked Press Tour, which
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: I'm still trying to recover from because it's like, what?
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: I'm so glad there's not a third one.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: No, it's like, what happened during the filming of this movie?
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: It's similar.
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: It's like, what's going on.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: With you guys?
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: Why are you all so weepy? You're all touching each other.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Touching and scared.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: The touching is weird.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: And emotional and like, And I'm like, my God.
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: Shouldn't it be fun? That's the other thing.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: I guess movie and TV sets aren't fun.
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: We just covered three that were horrible.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: I know. God, no wonder Hollywood's dying. Everyone's like, it's
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: a fucking torture chamber.
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: I know.
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: I am happy that all of this stuff is... This
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: is like reminiscent of how it used to be. There
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: used to be like a lot of drama all the time.
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: And I feel like things kind of quieted down.
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: There's not as much.
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: But luckily, there's still people that are going to act
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: bad and then, you know, not be able to contain it.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: And it spills over eventually. So I do feel like
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: that we're off to a good start this year.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: And so many years ago, 2019, because I looked it up,
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: I did an impression of Jonathan in on the show.
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: And I found it. So hopefully when you're watching this,
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: I'll have put it together and put it out by now.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: But I sent it to Jonathan. I thought he would
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: love it. At the time we were at the same,
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: we were at the same podcast network. I was like,
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: can we do a switcheroo? Wanted nothing to do with it.
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: I've not heard great things about him. Well, you know, so,
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: and I, yeah, I don't know.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: It's, He seems not very fun-loving, obviously. But yeah, it's
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: like the show used to be great.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: I mean, the original Queer Eye was like a fun-loving,
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: happy show.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: I mean, it was really great with Carson. That was
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: Carson as the lead. And I always wonder, like, were
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: they ever bummed about the fact that, you know.
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: They seem more like friends than this crew.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: Yes. Well, because they're from a different generation, quite honestly,
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: and they did it and they did their own things after.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: But still, just like the new cast of Sir, it
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: kind of sucks for the old cast of Sir.
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: Yeah. It's like the classic Hollywood. You've been replaced. You
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: aged out.
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: Yeah, totally.
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: We found a new gay.
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: I know. But, yeah, it's very much, it does really
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: remind me of the Wicked Press Tour in that it has, like,
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: an icky feeling to it. So as much as it
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: is funny, this whole entire thing, because I did get, like,
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: I got a kick out of that. Yeah. It doesn't, like,
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: it doesn't make me want to watch the show, really.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: No, no.
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: Anyway, let's see. Wait, I want to get to, okay.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Ugh.
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: Megan Markle with love. It will not return for a
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: third season. This is the show where she did the
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: cooking at the house down the street. And the, you know,
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: they did a long thing. They do this on selling
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: sunset too, where they film the whole season and then
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: they cut.
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: It in half.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: So when it first came out and everyone was bagging
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: on it, She wasn't lying, and neither was Netflix, when
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: they were like, oh, my God, a second season is
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: coming out in a couple months. But it was all
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: done at one time. They never got the crew back
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: together and did it. And now they're saying, we're not
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: bringing it back. And whenever this happens with Netflix shows,
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: and I know some people that do, they always try
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: to act like it was mutual or like, well, I really,
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: I'm so overwhelmed with my as-ever jam.
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: Yeah, the jam.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: That I just couldn't also make the.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: The Trader Joe's pretzels into cellophane bags or whatever. Rebag
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: the pretzels. Yeah, I didn't have time to do that
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: and be a mom and be a podcast host and
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: tell exciting things like, I tell a little bet, you
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: can't reach that light switch yet.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: I like that.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: She's quite profound.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: God, that was like, that was the craziest interview. There
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: was literally 75 clips from it. And so over the
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: weekend during the, Oh, what were you doing in 2016
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: or whatever? Little bet.
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: Who's four.
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: She just happened to go to a park. She happened
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: to go to a park and her parents just happened
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: to be dancing far away from where she was sitting. Um,
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: And she was like, wait, let me stop my iPad
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: because mom and dad are dancing and falling in love again.
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: Hold on. I'm going to film it and I'm not
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: going to say anything. And then when my mom gets
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: home and starts to make us snap peas, she's going
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: to look at her phone and go, LittleBette, did you
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: film H and I dancing at the public park without
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: my knowledge?
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: Her hidden talent.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: And then LittleBette will go, okay, will I get in trouble?
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: No, you won't. But I am going to post it.
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: I'm going to say that you did it. And then everyone.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: will go these two i love them they're so authentic
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: i get why she's giving up her netflix show it's
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: because she wants to focus on the fact that her
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: daughter is the next um Obama daughter.
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: Who is now a filmmaker. She always wanted a videographer. Yeah,
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: she's a filmmaker at four. And we're just kind of
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: catch these moments.
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: But yeah, I mean, I'm personally I'm very upset that
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: the show is getting canceled. I loved watching that show.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: You did incredible recaps of it where you're like, here's
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: another friend that she's never met.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: She never met any of these people. OK, like that
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: was like always the first time. Oh, I can't remember
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: the tennis girl's name like that girl. She was the
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: last guest. She hated being there. But yeah, I actually
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: loved that show.
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: I thought it was great. What was your favorite episode
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: to make fun of?
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: The episode with Tan was pretty funny.
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: He came and he met her and he was they
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: always would make the Chrissy Teigen one was pretty good.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: I mean, they made hideous throwaway craft projects every single time.
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: And it's like these people are throwing this straight in
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: the dumpster as soon as they leave. It always felt
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: like it was like she just found this thing on
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: Pinterest from like 10 years ago. And I always imagine
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: like her presenting these ideas to the crew and stuff
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: because you know that these people must be like.
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: Oh my God, this is ridiculous.
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: You know what my kids and I love to do
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: is we are popsicle freaks and we like to save
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: the popsicle sticks. I don't know if anyone's ever heard this,
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: but what you can do is, is you just do
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: little simple glue and you can then wrap yarn around
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: it and you can make a dream catcher.
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: Out of popsicle sticks and yarn.
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: Listen, don't give her any ideas. I don't know. She, um, yeah,
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: it was Tan's episode. They made like, they made a really,
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: they like hand painted like aprons. I like that she
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: like decorated the Christmas tree like by herself. I mean,
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: she never really wanted her family involved.
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: Didn't they one time do like a tie dye t-shirt?
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: I want to say they did.
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: Or maybe I imagined in my head.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: It was all sorts of stuff like that.
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: Who wants a tie dye t-shirt?
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: And who has time to do this? And they were
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: always in the fake craft barn. She had like a
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: separate fake craft barn and she had like, um, she
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: had a chalkboard that she used to write like funny
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: sayings on. I mean, she's, she's very corny. She's a
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: legend in her own mind for sure. But I did
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: really actually enjoy the show mostly because people would like,
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: they really liked the reviews of it. Um, it was just, you.
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: Were really funny the way you did.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: Um, but I do want to say right now he is, um,
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: He's testifying in England about the big trial that's been
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: going on for a long time where he feels that
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: their phones were tapped and all these awful things were
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: written in the press about them. They're suing Daily Mail,
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: I believe, like the Sunday paper or some other paper
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: that's under their umbrella for all the awful things they said.
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: And he said, you know, you destroyed Megan's life.
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: It is all about Megan, though. It doesn't have anything
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: to do with Diana.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: I do want to show you this one photo that
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: they did of him in the court. Wait, just focus
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: on this photo right here. I mean, not nice, New
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: York Post. They did a sketch. You know, they do
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: a sketch of him. I mean, the sketch is accurate, though.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: I don't think that they're being shady.
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: I mean, people, men lose their hair.
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: He should go to Turkey. Megan needs to help him
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: a little bit, but she.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: Wants all the shine.
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: Yeah, go to Turkey to get the hair transplant.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: Why not get a hair transplant?
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: They also say they're going broke. That to me is
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: kind of interesting. And I did look up like what
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: he got. And it's hard to say if it's true
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: or not, like what Diana left him. And it was
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: like eight to ten million dollars. And then they got
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: that Netflix deal. they didn't get the full payout from
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: the Netflix deal.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: And then obviously this didn't pan out. So it is,
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: they're kind of like in flux right now. Cause it's like,
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: what is the next step besides going to Turkey and
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: getting the hair transplant?
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: I would do that first.
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I would do too.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: I would, I would do it, but like, and who cares?
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: You know what? Do it, get it for free.
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: I go and say, or maybe you don't have to
- 1:13:12Speaker 5: go to Turkey.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: Just go to someone in in Santa Barbara and start like,
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: they're going to start getting a glow up. They're going
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: to start getting shit for free there. She's going to
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: start just doing brand deals like everybody else.
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: Well, she, that's why she went to that Balenciaga show.
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: I think that she invited herself to, it was very
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: shady that it came out after. And they were like,
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: she invited herself, but they were saying that that is like,
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: she's trying to now make a pivot. And she was on,
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: she was on Harper's Bazaar, I believe. Um, So I
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: think that they are trying to make some sort of
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: pivot because all of this other stuff for them obviously
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: isn't working.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: No.
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: Like, I think that the thing with Meghan Markle is
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: that she's acting like we know anything about.
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: Her or we, like, knew her before she started dating Harry.
- 1:13:53Speaker 5: It's like.
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: That's when we were introduced to you.
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: So you keep repeating the same stuff where it's like, yeah,
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: you had the Tig, which was like that blog, you know,
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: a million years ago. And you were in suits. And
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: then you're acting like you are some sort of royalty
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: because you married into it. But there's no like meat
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: to the bone.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: There where there's anything. I feel like people don't even
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: really care to like cater anymore. Like, I feel like
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: I'm like, all right, all your stuff didn't work out,
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: which is sort of satisfying because I don't think you
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: were talented enough to have ever deserved even a fraction
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: of these deals to create TV and do podcasts and
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: things like that.
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: When you got the opportunity, you were lazy with it.
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: They are lazy.
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: And then you got, now it's over with.
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: So now you're going to have to, you know, get
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: ready with me and tell stories about... You know, the
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: time the queen, you know, made some bad remark about
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: you while you contour your face. I know. You're going
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: to have to have a resa-tisa moment. You're going to
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: have to, I mean.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: You're going to have to, like, do all the crap.
- 1:15:00Speaker 5: I don't know what.
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: I still, I still, I know she's going to end
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: up in an ensemble reality show by 2028.
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: That would be amazing.
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: I feel like here's the other thing is people try
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: to paint this picture like she got so much hate
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: from the jump.
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: I remember when they first got together, like I was excited.
- 1:15:16Speaker 5: I loved it.
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: No, I know.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: I loved the dress. I loved, I thought she was great.
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: I thought it was so cool that we had an American.
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: I wanted to know more about her. I don't know
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: this girl. How'd she bag Harry? That was when Harry,
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: he was good looking.
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: At the time.
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: He was an eligible bachelor.
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: And it was like, oh, how fun this will be.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: It's similar to the Nicola thing.
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: Like, I think that you could, you're going into a
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: difficult situation, even with the press in the UK. I
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: think that there was a real opportunity to like win
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: the people over because we were halfway there.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: And I know that they're nasty in the UK with
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: the press and stuff like that.
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: But I think, you know, go into it, own it.
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: Like they would be in a completely different place had
- 1:15:57Speaker 4: they approached that better and kind of like stuck it
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: out and made it work for them.
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: And now they are at, like, a really— they' re.
- 1:16:03Speaker 4: Kind of at a weird point where they've kind of
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: squeezed the lemon dry. I mean, she's still talking about— she
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: was talking about, like, the queen forcing her to wear, like,
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: the nude pantyhose. And that was like— it' s like, let it lie.
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: I mean, we need to get over this. Yeah, you
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: and Kimora can— is.
- 1:16:19Speaker 5: That his name? I keep saying it wrong.
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: Who?
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: What is his name?
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: Oh, now I'm not going to— Karamo.
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: It's similar.
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: It's like you guys are kind of crybabies.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: And like, yeah.
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: And we tell your story of like how you were victimized. Like, oh,
- 1:16:33Speaker 5: just shut up.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: I know it's just not it's not interesting. Everybody is
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: trying to like out victim each other. Yeah. And it's like,
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: let's spin this around. Like you had all of these opportunities.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: I mean, they had that huge Spotify deal. And then
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: the guy came out and called them grifters, which was crazy.
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: Well, they weren't even like she wasn't even really interviewing
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: the people like it's like two episodes or something. Right.
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: It was like we're ending the season. See you next year.
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: Six episodes.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: And like somebody else said, when they did the interview,
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: the producer was like, hi, how are you? And the
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: producer asked them all the questions and then took the
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: best moments, edited it with her then asking.
- 1:17:10Speaker 5: And it was just a Zoom event.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so weird. I mean, my God, like you
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: have a $ 20 million podcast deal and you can't like
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: actually even meet the person in person and fly them out.
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: And put them up.
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: But I think that that's half the problem is that
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: she put herself like on this pedestal like, I like
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: to get ready with me. It would be tough for
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: her to come back down now because she's presented herself
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: as like, you know, too good for all of this stuff.
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: Like I think she wouldn't like curse on the, on
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: the podcast and it's like the archetypes. I think she
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: wouldn't like, she was like nervous to say the word
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: bitch or something like that. And it's like, you, you've
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: now placed yourself on a level that's like kind of
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: unattainable and you can't even really keep up with that.
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: I know. And it's, you need to do interviews about,
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: you know, the Spanx creator. I'm Oh, my God.
- 1:17:54Speaker 4: And then that girl.
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: We've had the Spanx creator. She's great. But we've had
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: every interview with her. Like, it doesn't make for an
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: interesting podcast anymore.
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: I think the girl boss thing is over. Like, no
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: one cares about the girl bossing. No, it's about Manifest Mama.
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: That's what I'm going to do. I'm just going to
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: manifest something else. Well, we still have— we could have talked
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: for a million years.
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: We'll figure out another time for you.
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: To come back. I know. Well, I think we manifested
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: all of this happening. You manifest such great things. Tell
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: everybody where they can follow you.
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: Okay, so I'm on TikTok, DJ Hungry Human, and I'm
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: also on YouTube.
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: And why did you come up with the name DJ
- 1:18:26Speaker 5: Hungry Human?
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: So, it's so funny because... When I first started posting,
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: I believe it was Billy Ray Cyrus was the first
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: video that ever went viral. And that's when he was
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: with that girl who just popped up.
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: She just released. Wait, I just I don't know if
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: I have that in here, but she. You saw that, right?
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: She just, he got married to this young girl, Billy
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: Ray Cyrus, Miley's dad, and got married to this young
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: blonde girl. And she is posting audio arguments with him where,
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: you know, he's coming off, you know, quite insensitive and awful.
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: And she's doing a whole thing, narc abuse, recovery, and.
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: letting it show that, you know, and then she'll be like,
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: you know, you know, that trend where it's like, you know,
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: in 2000 and someone's going to, an older musician is
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: going to ask you out.
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: It's very important that you say no.
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: Well, I think that she's mad.
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: He's with Elizabeth Hurley, but anyways.
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: Oh, that's right. He's with Elizabeth Hurley.
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: I forgot about that.
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: So they used to post these videos where they were
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: like in a day, they were very strange videos. And
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: so I, I posted like one video and it blew up.
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: It got like a million followers, a million views. And
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: I was like, so nervous about it. And my, my
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: regular name was like on my Tik TOK. so I
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: always if I was ever a DJ my DJ name
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: would be DJ Hungry Human okay so then I switched
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: it to that and then it just kind of like
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: worked and then and then obviously like as I started
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: posting more about the Blake stuff like that blew up
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: and then that that just became the name but it
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: is funny because when people get like really mad at
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: me about like different random things I'm like you're mad
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: at somebody like my name is like DJ Hungry Human
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: like it's really not.
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: It's like not that serious.
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: And if I ever did need to segue it into like,
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: you know, a new career, maybe I can just be
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: a DJ.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: Well, anyway, follow DJ Hungry Human on TikTok. And I
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: love that you came. Yeah, thank you so much for
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: having me.
- 1:20:13Speaker 5: Your takes on things are so funny and clever.
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: And everybody go to HeatherMcDonald.net and we'll put up where
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: you can get your ticket to the show May 9th
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: in the Netflix store. Netflix is a Joke Comedy Festival,
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: live Juicy Scoop, May 9th in LA. Thank you. Bye.
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: know about the drawer.
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: The drawer. Just the one square before bed.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: Or two, you know.
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: Nobody's watching.
