Today we're adding two more verbs: 'beli' and 'jual'. Luna: Beli and jual – buy and sell? Lucas: Exactly. Let's start with 'beli'. Say it after me: beli. Luna: Beli. Lucas: Good. Now a sentence: 'Saya beli nasi.' I buy rice. Luna: Saya beli nasi. That's simple. Lucas: Now 'jual'. Repeat: jual. Luna: Jual. Lucas: Great. 'Dia jual air.' He sells water. Luna: Dia jual air. So 'dia' is he or she? Lucas: Yes. Now combine with 'mahu' – want. 'Saya mahu beli.' I want to buy. Luna: Saya mahu beli. And 'Dia mahu jual' – he wants to sell. Lucas: Perfect. Now let's do a quick review. Luna, can you say 'I buy rice'? Luna: Saya beli nasi. Lucas: And 'They sell water'? Use 'mereka'. Luna: Mereka jual air? Lucas: Almost – 'Mereka jual air' but you stressed the wrong part. Try again smoothly: Mereka jual air. Luna: Mereka jual air. Ah, better. Lucas: Now let's place these verbs in a context. Imagine you're at the market. You can say 'Beli di pasar' – buy at the market. Luna: Beli di pasar. And 'Jual di sini' – sell here. Lucas: Exactly. These are really useful when you're shopping.
