- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 0:23Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 0:28Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 0:31Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 0:35Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 0:43Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home

- 1:00Speaker 3: John Moran, So this is this is a story for
- 1:04Speaker 3: a variety of different reasons, but it's a business story
- 1:06Speaker 3: as well. That's why I want to talk about it.
- 1:09Speaker 3: John Morant, great player, Super Super talented player currently suspended
- 1:17Speaker 3: for showing a gun on Instagram in the club. Probably
- 1:22Speaker 3: it was a club, I think it was. I think
- 1:23Speaker 3: it was a gentleman's club club in Denver. I don't
- 1:27Speaker 3: believe he got a shirt on either.
- 1:28Speaker 4: But he's been poor in details.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Yes, oh so John shout out to John Man. Joe
- 1:42Speaker 3: has been doing a variety of interesting things this season,
- 1:47Speaker 3: from his crew putting a laser on somebody.
- 1:49Speaker 5: On the Indiana Paces team buff Yeah, to clean up different.
- 1:55Speaker 5: They said he beat up a seventeen year old. The
- 1:58Speaker 5: NBA was investigating him first for beating up a seventeen
- 2:00Speaker 5: year olds.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Sometimes you gotta smack a kid. Thought stop, I'm just
- 2:04Speaker 3: being honest with you. He probably shouldn't.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Have smacked my kid.
- 2:07Speaker 3: I'm back, like joh, Okay, let's let's not let's let's
- 2:10Speaker 3: put it in perspective. Let's put it in perspective. But
- 2:13Speaker 3: a lot of these seventeen year olds, seventeen is borderline eighteen.
- 2:18Speaker 3: You could say something crazy. I've seen it happen you.
- 2:22Speaker 2: He can't do that.
- 2:23Speaker 4: He should not have done that. He can't if he
- 2:25Speaker 4: did do it.
- 2:26Speaker 3: A lot of these seventeen year olds are listening to
- 2:30Speaker 3: a lot of rap music. Your damn, they are grown up.
- 2:34Speaker 3: You're damn if you're seventeen, your damn the watch just
- 2:36Speaker 3: watch your mouthy, watch your mouth please if you're seventeen
- 2:40Speaker 3: years old.
- 2:41Speaker 2: These thoughts or ship.
- 2:42Speaker 6: But hey, yeah, this starts of mind my kids. Seventeen,
- 2:46Speaker 6: you put your on my kid, I'm gonna cash out
- 2:48Speaker 6: every stock I got, yo be your last game on god.
- 2:53Speaker 6: So and don't text me about don't say so ahead.
- 2:57Speaker 4: What you say about what you say? I didn't hear you.
- 2:59Speaker 4: I said nothing.
- 3:01Speaker 6: I just said to somebody put their hands on my
- 3:03Speaker 6: kid at seventeen, I'm gonna go cash that.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Oh yeah, but I mean you gotta put your might
- 3:07Speaker 3: have to put your hands on kid of seventeen. The
- 3:08Speaker 3: deal with the repercussions later on, but.
- 3:10Speaker 2: They would investigate.
- 3:11Speaker 4: That's the first.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Deal you deal with three Like, look, there's always gonna
- 3:14Speaker 3: be somebody's fathering, somebody's uncle.
- 3:16Speaker 4: But yeah, I mean, you gotta deal with that later on.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Is what is right? That's that goes back to the school.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Y'all gonna get my cousin, Okay, step scale out later,
- 3:25Speaker 3: but we're gonna we're gonna handle this first.
- 3:27Speaker 4: We gotta handle this first. I'm three year old, dude.
- 3:32Speaker 2: He can't do that.
- 3:33Speaker 4: I'm just being out of He's twenty three.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Yeah, he can't do that.
- 3:35Speaker 4: He's twenty three. He's not that far removed, I know.
- 3:37Speaker 2: But he can't do that.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Shouldn't have done it, shouldn't have done.
- 3:40Speaker 2: It, can't do that.
- 3:41Speaker 5: The league is the league was investigating him for that,
- 3:45Speaker 5: right they were.
- 3:46Speaker 2: They were watching him closer a few other incidents the table.
- 3:49Speaker 5: It's crazy, but it's and I saw, uh Gilly posted
- 3:53Speaker 5: this the Carmelo interview that they had with million dollars
- 3:56Speaker 5: with the game. When you're talking like, yo, that the
- 3:57Speaker 5: NBA got FEDS watching, they work with the oh yes,
- 4:01Speaker 5: like and then Stephen they said it again. He was like, yo,
- 4:03Speaker 5: I try to remind you that they work with he's
- 4:05Speaker 5: under investigation for the slab, the fact that what he
- 4:08Speaker 5: did with the gun, it was just like.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Bro, now the gun thing that was a little too far,
- 4:12Speaker 4: but hit the thing. Hit the thing.
- 4:13Speaker 3: To bring this back, this goes back to the Kanye
- 4:16Speaker 3: thing and goes back and it's important.
- 4:18Speaker 4: This is important. This is what nobody's talking about.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Right.
- 4:23Speaker 4: When you are a.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Corporate employee, which NBA and players are corporate employees, right,
- 4:28Speaker 3: we got to start talking about what's the proper etiquette
- 4:32Speaker 3: for corporate employees and when you have responsibilities that you're
- 4:36Speaker 3: not an owner, you're not a boss these things. In
- 4:41Speaker 3: this country, etiquette is extremely important, right, So it's important
- 4:45Speaker 3: to handle yourself in a manner that is in conduct
- 4:51Speaker 3: to your code of ethics and the your employer's code
- 4:57Speaker 3: of ethics, right, because they could end up of coursing
- 4:59Speaker 3: you p millions of dollars. So whether he was right
- 5:02Speaker 3: or wrong, that's a different story for a different day.
- 5:04Speaker 3: But when you're an employer, like we're an employer, our
- 5:08Speaker 3: employees on a certain level are representations of the company
- 5:15Speaker 3: and the brand. So even me, I've had to have
- 5:17Speaker 3: conversations with employees before because their behavior probably wasn't the
- 5:25Speaker 3: most conducive to what we were trying to betray. Right,
- 5:32Speaker 3: So I have understanding you're funny, I understand it.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I don't got I wish I had fair I don't
- 5:41Speaker 2: got paper.
- 5:42Speaker 4: Understand I can understand why.
- 5:46Speaker 3: You know, dealing with corporations, yo, you have to have
- 5:50Speaker 3: some level of governance with your employees if their.
- 5:53Speaker 5: Actions don't align with the company yeah with the brand.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Yeah, OK, do you want to say something?
- 6:07Speaker 6: Yeah, I was just gonna say, like, for men that
- 6:10Speaker 6: are ascending, and I know he's still young and we've
- 6:12Speaker 6: all made mistakes, it's okay to get money and not
- 6:17Speaker 6: be PRISTIVEE. It's tough because I think a lot of
- 6:20Speaker 6: times when we grew up in tougher environments, we have
- 6:23Speaker 6: to like put armachiese mo or like manhood on display.
- 6:27Speaker 6: But I want to be very clear and being a
- 6:29Speaker 6: black man in this country, anything that is aligned with
- 6:33Speaker 6: violent scares all the money away, Like most corporations think
- 6:37Speaker 6: Kanye is violent like and you saw the reaction to
- 6:41Speaker 6: the Will Smith thing last year.
- 6:42Speaker 2: At the OSCARS.
- 6:46Speaker 6: I would not be surprised if they don't suspend him
- 6:48Speaker 6: for the whole year while he's going to be one
- 6:51Speaker 6: of the new faces in the NBA. This is a
- 6:56Speaker 6: very tricky situation. The NBA tries to sweep a few
- 6:58Speaker 6: other incidents that are not publicly known under the table
- 7:02Speaker 6: as we elevate begin to amass wealth and fame and money.
- 7:09Speaker 6: Not saying that we have to change, but we have
- 7:11Speaker 6: to move differently because now, like the investigation the statewide
- 7:15Speaker 6: like something happened with him another kid in Houston. Please
- 7:19Speaker 6: be careful and at the NBA game like they're fans
- 7:22Speaker 6: at every NBA game.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Earners, what's up?
- 7:26Speaker 5: You ever walk into a small business and everything just
- 7:29Speaker 5: works Like the checkout is fast, the receipts are digital,

- 9:16Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 9:19Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador

- 10:11Speaker 1: border and families will.
- 10:13Speaker 6: Be protected sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland
- 10:15Speaker 6: Security across the country, every single one, not just to everyone, please.
- 10:22Speaker 4: Be careful and be mindful.
- 10:23Speaker 3: But once again, I think you know job hopefully he
- 10:27Speaker 3: can you know, get himself back on track. But it's
- 10:30Speaker 3: just an important you know, your mom used to always
- 10:32Speaker 3: tell me, like, you know, a smart person learns from
- 10:37Speaker 3: his mistakes, but a wise person learns from the mistakes
- 10:40Speaker 3: of others. So we have fun with all of these, Kanye,
- 10:43Speaker 3: but you know, on a serious note, it's important that
- 10:46Speaker 3: we learn from the mistakes of others because when you're
- 10:50Speaker 3: in your corporate environment, right you have to be careful
- 10:53Speaker 3: what you post on Instagram. Right, you have to be
- 10:56Speaker 3: careful what you post on Facebook. So this is on
- 10:59Speaker 3: a on on a big scale, and millions of people
- 11:02Speaker 3: watch it. But this happens every day. This happens every
- 11:04Speaker 3: day to the teacher that posts something crazy on Instagram
- 11:10Speaker 3: and only has five hundred followers so doesn't really think
- 11:13Speaker 3: about it, and then it comes up on a school
- 11:15Speaker 3: board meeting and now they're fired, right, Or this happens
- 11:18Speaker 3: when somebody goes to a basketball game and does something
- 11:23Speaker 3: crazy and then there are pictures in the newspaper and
- 11:26Speaker 3: now they're fired. So just this is something that's extremely important.
- 11:31Speaker 3: What happens on the internet never really goes away, It
- 11:33Speaker 3: never gets deleted. So for the young people, for the
- 11:37Speaker 3: older people as well, be extremely careful about the image
- 11:40Speaker 3: that you're curating online, because we're all curating images online.
- 11:45Speaker 3: If you have an Instagram profile, if you have a Twitter,
- 11:47Speaker 3: if you have Facebook, if you have TikTok, you're curating
- 11:52Speaker 3: the image that you want.
- 11:53Speaker 4: The world to see.
- 11:54Speaker 3: So be mindful of that because sometimes you're just in
- 11:57Speaker 3: the moment, you're not really thinking about it. I'm sure
- 11:59Speaker 3: he wasn't really thinking about it in the moment. He's
- 12:01Speaker 3: just like I'm on Instagram live. This is what a
- 12:03Speaker 3: vibe is. He might've had a drink or two. Like,
- 12:05Speaker 3: you know, you're not really thinking about it, but one
- 12:07Speaker 3: decision can cost you a lot. So this is important
- 12:10Speaker 3: for people to learn and for people to think about
- 12:13Speaker 3: when you're in your day to day life, right like,
- 12:16Speaker 3: be extremely careful about what you're showing, the type of
- 12:21Speaker 3: image that you're portraying, and you know it's to the
- 12:24Speaker 3: point where it could be a little daunting with it's like, damn,
- 12:26Speaker 3: I gotta think about everything here.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Unfortunately, this is the world that we live in.
- 12:30Speaker 3: If there was no social media, then maybe you can
- 12:33Speaker 3: get away with a lot of stuff. But everything you post,
- 12:36Speaker 3: think about it before you post. Anytime you go live
- 12:39Speaker 3: on Instagram, think about it before you go live on Instagram.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Anytime you do anything in public, think about it because
- 12:46Speaker 3: some stuff can stay with you and some stuff can
- 12:49Speaker 3: haunt you, and you never know what could happen. You
- 12:51Speaker 3: could do something when you're twenty years old not really
- 12:54Speaker 3: think about it, and then it's like thirty five, you're
- 12:56Speaker 3: trying to run for governor, and then they bring back
- 12:58Speaker 3: what you did when you're twenty. Just just be mindful
- 13:01Speaker 3: because this is important not only just for business, but
- 13:04Speaker 3: just for life in general. Like, you got to be
- 13:06Speaker 3: extremely important about the image that you're portraying, because we're
- 13:11Speaker 3: all portraying an image. So think about the image that
- 13:14Speaker 3: you want to portray and curate that and hold that
- 13:18Speaker 3: very very close knit.
- 13:19Speaker 5: Yeah, it's unfortunate, man, Like you said, he is very young.
- 13:22Speaker 5: He's twenty three years old. Did he make a horrible mistake, yes,
- 13:25Speaker 5: but we should be learning right. When I first heard
- 13:27Speaker 5: about the gun, the first thing I thought, maybe, you know,
- 13:29Speaker 5: some of the kids are too young, But I thought
- 13:30Speaker 5: that gilbl Arenas and we watched him, right, But gilt
- 13:34Speaker 5: Arenas has freedom. The other side of the story was Credington, right,
- 13:39Speaker 5: who was the other person that was engaging in that,
- 13:41Speaker 5: And he's you know, had some troubles in his life
- 13:43Speaker 5: and he's in prison now. But these are the outcomes
- 13:46Speaker 5: that we make that are facing us if we make
- 13:48Speaker 5: poor decisions when we're younger. So like, yeah, Joe's suspended
- 13:52Speaker 5: for two games, but if he knows how the CBA
- 13:54Speaker 5: is constructed, if he wasn't Denver when he had that,
- 13:57Speaker 5: that means he must have had it on the plane,
- 13:58Speaker 5: which automatically, so now that across state and so notw
- 14:03Speaker 5: at least to even length to your suspension. He's at
- 14:06Speaker 5: the point right now where he just got his rookie
- 14:08Speaker 5: contract and he's going to extend for two hundred million.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:11Speaker 5: He just put out his night shoe, right, He's about
- 14:14Speaker 5: to become the face of Night. Obviously, Lebron's retiring. They
- 14:17Speaker 5: lost Kyrie Kevin Durant is you.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Know up there in years they sabotaged for Night.
- 14:23Speaker 5: That jeopardizes that. He also is about to release his
- 14:26Speaker 5: Power eight campaign. The same day that that came out,
- 14:31Speaker 5: the Power eight campaign was launched.
- 14:33Speaker 2: He puts that in jeopardy. And so you're making these decisions.
- 14:36Speaker 2: But also hopefully and this is what he'll learn from is.
- 14:39Speaker 5: Like who he is surrounded by, right, because when you're
- 14:42Speaker 5: that young, you still got your friends around and we
- 14:45Speaker 5: and that's something that we've had to learn. Right as
- 14:47Speaker 5: you go and you go and you grow, that spiral
- 14:50Speaker 5: goes up. Everybody can't come. Everybody can't come. They'll suffocate
- 14:54Speaker 5: when when the when the air gets too thin up there, right,
- 14:56Speaker 5: And so he'll have to learn that. Hopefully he does,
- 14:59Speaker 5: and hopefully I know it's dad is in his life,
- 15:01Speaker 5: he'll be gutting him through this process as well. But
- 15:03Speaker 5: it's a learning lesson. It's an unfortunately, but I guess
- 15:05Speaker 5: the amazest thing from it is that no.
- 15:08Speaker 2: One was hurt, right, Like, no one was hurt.
- 15:11Speaker 5: We've we've seen incidents with athletes, especially the two young
- 15:14Speaker 5: men at Alabama, where you know.
- 15:16Speaker 2: We've seen people be killed because of mistakes, right.
- 15:20Speaker 5: I mean the gentlemen were not charged, well, they weren't
- 15:23Speaker 5: charged with felonies, but they were charged with mister means
- 15:26Speaker 5: in the Alabama case. But these guys are young man.
- 15:29Speaker 5: They got the whole future ahead of maaster decisions.
- 15:31Speaker 3: That happened so quick that played for the Giants that
- 15:34Speaker 3: shot himself in the foot Plexico, Yeah, Plexico Burslexicon.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:39Speaker 6: He went into a club.
- 15:43Speaker 3: He was at the height of his career, one of
- 15:45Speaker 3: the best receivers in the NFL. Went to the club
- 15:47Speaker 3: with a gun on similar to Jah shot himself. So
- 15:50Speaker 3: what happens is that.
- 15:51Speaker 6: He was also having some off the till trouble.
- 15:54Speaker 4: So I'll put it like that.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm just saying he shot himself. So now
- 15:58Speaker 3: what happens is that you have that you're injured, you
- 16:01Speaker 3: go to the hospital, but you also having an unregistered
- 16:04Speaker 3: gun in New York is illegal, So he ends up
- 16:06Speaker 3: doing three years in jail for having an unlicensed gun.
- 16:10Speaker 3: So you know this kind of thing is It's not
- 16:12Speaker 3: like he's the first person to do this, Nope, but
- 16:15Speaker 3: just you just got to learn from other people's mistakes.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Yep, when keeping it real goes for all.
- 16:21Speaker 3: My graduates from my school being force back drop bag drop,
- 16:27Speaker 3: Mike drop back drop drop.
- 16:40Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 16:44Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 16:48Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
