AlterNet reports that FBI Special Agent Bryan Witt testified at a Tuesday hearing that FBI Director Kash Patel personally directed an investigation of agents Nikki Floris and Bradley Benavides. Witt said the July assignment, routed through the Kansas City field office, was unlike any tasking he had received from an FBI director during his career.
