- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Fiorazo.
- 0:20God bless you and Merry Christmas season, friends.
- 0:22Thanks for sharing the podcast, and I just want to shout out to some friends today who
- 0:27have been actually some new donors who are ongoing supporters monthly, and we really
- 0:33want to say you guys keep us going.
- 0:36Your prayers under God, and what you guys are doing.
- 0:39So Stephen, from North Augusta, South Carolina, thank you, Kathy, Vulcan, Michigan.
- 0:45God bless you, sister, Justin from Alamagordo, New Mexico, and Shelley from Madison, Wisconsin.
- 0:53God bless you guys more to come, but thank you every one of you.
- 0:59So I'm really excited to talk about a couple of different things today with Dr. Nathan
- 1:02Jones.
- 1:03He's an author, and he serves as the director of Internet Outreach, and he's the Internet
- 1:07Evangelist at Lamb and Lion Ministries.
- 1:09You guys know the website, christinproficy.org, and Nathan, thank you so much for your time
- 1:16today.
- 1:17Glad we were able to connect.
- 1:18Oh, David, so good to be on again.
- 1:21God bless you all and greetings to the Native of Jesus, our blessed hope.
- 1:24Awesome, awesome, awesome brother.
- 1:26So before we get into what we're going to talk about and what kind of food we might
- 1:30eat in the millennial kingdom, and will animals really be at peace with mankind?
- 1:36And you've got a new book coming out.
- 1:38But first, very interesting and encouraging headlines about Bible sales.
- 1:43First of all, Joe Rogan recently read the entire chapter of Revelation 13 on his show,
- 1:50the Joe Rogan experience, which has over 18 million subscribers, and he's considering
- 1:56the possibility that we are seeing biblical prophecy unfold in our day.
- 2:01That leads me to an article at the Wall Street Journal, Nathan, to get your take on this.
- 2:05Examples of Bibles are booming fueled by first time buyers and new versions and publishers
- 2:14attribute this 22% jump in Bible sales this year to rising anxiety, a search for hope
- 2:24or just highly focused marketing campaigns.
- 2:27But I think the search for hope and rising anxiety, particularly with the election we just
- 2:32had and the division and some not just political, the division in our culture.
- 2:38Your take on this and people maybe being more curious about spiritual things, the Bible,
- 2:43the afterlife, your thoughts, Nathan.
- 2:45Well, I think that the prayers of the saints have been answered.
- 2:49I don't know any Christian and some non-Christians who weren't really praying about this election
- 2:55that we've really seen not only the United States but the West slide into decadence
- 3:01and immorality, especially sexual immorality, perversion, openly, censorship, just the insanity
- 3:08of the last four years ever since COVID.
- 3:10And so I think the Lord answered that.
- 3:12He's given us, I believe, a reprieve and with a reprieve comes a spiritual awakening.
- 3:18And we're seeing, I read another article just recently that said that wokeism is dead.
- 3:23In other words, we tried that experiment.
- 3:26People are tired of it.
- 3:27It doesn't fulfill.
- 3:28It doesn't fix anybody's problems.
- 3:30It only makes everything worse.
- 3:32And so the pendulum is swinging back to people's foundational Christian faith and Christian
- 3:37beliefs.
- 3:38And that would make sense in the wider.
- 3:40Of course, the Bible has always been a bestseller.
- 3:42But to see that thrive again, to see people reconnect with Jesus, that's an answer to prayer
- 3:47brother.
- 3:48Absolutely.
- 3:49And by the way, we need to point out again, it wasn't just Christians or evangelical Christians
- 3:55that voted in this past election and made a difference.
- 3:59It was people that are just simply conservative, patriotic, independent.
- 4:03Just Americans who saw the evil, I think, and the darkness and said, I think they've overplayed
- 4:08their hand.
- 4:09I don't want that kind of America.
- 4:10But anyway, I want to get to your new book, Nathan.
- 4:13People can pre-order this.
- 4:15It's called the coming millennial kingdom.
- 4:18What life will be like for us when Jesus reigns on earth.
- 4:22And most of our audience, brother, are saying, we can't wait.
- 4:27So go ahead and share, just why do you decided to write this book at this time?
- 4:33Well, it actually is my doctoral dissertation.
- 4:36And I was like, I've got all this research.
- 4:38It would be a shame if that I couldn't bring it down out of the theological rafters and
- 4:42make it for the common people.
- 4:44Because this is my first book with Harvest House and Great People, Steve Miller, my editor.
- 4:50We're in the galley proofing now.
- 4:52So it's just been neat to go through the whole because I've self-published my last few
- 4:56books through Laman Line Ministries.
- 4:58And I wanted to call it originally the Forgotten Kingdom because really very few people,
- 5:04especially Christians, know about the rule and reign of Jesus Christ for a thousand years
- 5:08on this earth.
- 5:10And so they're like, well, the Forgotten Kingdom sounds like a novel.
- 5:14They picked the coming millennial kingdom, it wasn't my choice, but they're the experts.
- 5:19And because it says what it is, it's a Forgotten Kingdom.
- 5:22It's a kingdom that nobody realized.
- 5:23We think that, well, Jesus will come Monday and we'll go to heaven.
- 5:28And that's it.
- 5:29But the Bible teaches so much more about the kingdom of Christ coming.
- 5:33I felt it was important that people got to know about it and praise the Lord, David
- 5:38Jeremiah recently just came out with his own book on the millennial kingdom and mine
- 5:43will be released in June.
- 5:44So we want to get people excited about the Lord's return.
- 5:47That's the purpose of Laman Line Ministries to proclaim the soon return of Jesus Christ.
- 5:52And I think this book will help people get hope and better understand their future in
- 5:56God's kingdom.
- 5:58And bless to say that David Reagan is writing or wrote the forward to the book.
- 6:04So that's always good, right?
- 6:06Nathan, I just want to read one of the opening description paragraphs over on Amazon.
- 6:13It says God ordained human government to restrain evil and punish evil doers.
- 6:20We, our governments have consistently failed to protect their citizens from all forms
- 6:25of lawlessness, hunger, diseases, wars, natural disasters and human suffering.
- 6:33Will this misery ever end?
- 6:35Does God give us any hope for the future?
- 6:37So you set up, I mean, clearly you can see the failures of human government and unfortunately,
- 6:43a lot of people have experienced that firsthand.
- 6:47Now we look to the millennial kingdom and there's got to be so much good news in this book.
- 6:52Your thoughts before we move on to one of the topics?
- 6:56Why would recommend if people want to get started in understandess, go to Daniel too.
- 7:00The great prophecy that Nebuchadnezzar, the dream he had of this giant statue and this
- 7:06stone not cut out by human hands comes smashing into that statue and obliterates it and then
- 7:11fills the earth and the stone becomes the kingdom.
- 7:15And that's a prophecy of the end of human government.
- 7:17The flawed, failed, power, hungry, fallen human government is going to end and it's going
- 7:23to be replaced by the kingdom of Christ where Jesus Christ rules and reigns on this earth
- 7:29first for a thousand years and then on into eternity.
- 7:33That's a prophecy that's one of the most prolific prophecies in the Bible.
- 7:37And fortunately, a lot of people who don't really follow the 31% of the Bible that's
- 7:42a prophecy just put that aside, but that's a thousand years of our future we're talking
- 7:46about here.
- 7:47And it's also the fulfillment of many prophecies that are about Jesus's victory.
- 7:52And so of course the Lord is going to proclaim his victory throughout the Bible and that's
- 7:57part of it is his return to defeat, fallen human government and to set up his own kingdom.
- 8:02Yes, and isn't there a scripture somewhere in the Bible that says the government will
- 8:06rest on his shoulders.
- 8:09That's a very secure place for the government to be on the shoulders of Jesus, right?
- 8:14Oh, I mean, you're not kidding.
- 8:16Jesus said in Revelation 22, three times, behold, I am coming quickly and my reward is with
- 8:23me to give to everyone to his work.
- 8:26So again and again and again, Jesus said throughout the New Testament, I'm coming back, I'm
- 8:30coming back, I'm coming back.
- 8:33I know a lot of people have kind of given up on the idea that Jesus is coming back, but
- 8:36the reason is is he wants everybody who's to get saved during this church era to be saved
- 8:42and be part of the church, his spiritual bride.
- 8:45So who knows, maybe we're talking to who's watching, we'll get saved and they're the last
- 8:50person of the church age.
- 8:52The Lord will come and take his church home with him and that'll be an exciting time.
- 8:56But yeah, it's a promise that's made throughout the Bible.
- 8:59You can go to Jeremiah 30, 11, it says, for I am with you, says the Lord to save you.
- 9:05Do I make a full end of all nations?
- 9:09This is a promise to Israel that the Lord is going to make an end of all the human-led
- 9:13governments and replace them with his perfect government.
- 9:18So you mentioned Daniel to a little bit ago, I just can't go on before we go back to
- 9:24verse 20 and 21, I mean God's sovereignty is so clear in what's happening, I think, in
- 9:32our world today.
- 9:33But it says, Daniel said, let the name of God be blessed forever and ever for wisdom
- 9:38and power belong to him.
- 9:40It is he who changes the times and the epochs or seasons.
- 9:46He removes kings and he establishes kings.
- 9:50He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding.
- 9:55And Nathan, I want to stop right there and just give you an opportunity briefly to comment
- 10:00on where we are in America with the election of a man like Donald Trump who is an imperfect
- 10:08human being like we all are.
- 10:10And yet somehow under God and if we are Bible believers, we trust God is in control of
- 10:17all things.
- 10:18Somehow this man is going to be back in power in the United States.
- 10:23There's got to be some purposes that we are not fully aware of.
- 10:26Would you care to speak to that in light of what we just read where God sets up kings
- 10:30and he takes them down?
- 10:32Well, we got to remember, we had a quite a number of people writing our ministry saying,
- 10:38I just can't vote for Donald Trump, he's got problems and sin issues and stuff like
- 10:43that.
- 10:44Well, you know, there's only one perfect king and that's Jesus Christ.
- 10:48But you know, look at Nebuchadnezzar for instance, Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Israel.
- 10:53He destroyed Jerusalem and he exiled all the people including Daniel up to Babylon.
- 10:59So the Jewish people knew a failed flawed king and again and again, Nebuchadnezzar had
- 11:05tremendous ego issues and problems and yet the Lord humbled him and the Lord used him
- 11:11and he protected the Jewish people during the exile and eventually when the Mito
- 11:15Persian government came and took over, they allowed the Jewish people to return back
- 11:19to their land.
- 11:20So the Lord takes sometimes the worst people and he uses them for his good.
- 11:25And I think that's the same case with Donald Trump.
- 11:27Donald Trump is over the last four years, hopefully, has learned a little humbleness,
- 11:32but the Lord used them mightily, especially with the Abramukhords, I think the next
- 11:37four years, we're going to see a push back to the humanist and I would even say Satanist
- 11:42communist views that people hold.
- 11:44And we know from prophecy that after the rapture and the restrainers removed that the one
- 11:50world government will happen and Antichrist will rise and for seven years, there'll be disaster
- 11:55on the earth as God judges the earth.
- 11:58They will get their moment in time.
- 11:59But for now, we're still on the Lord's plan and David, we got to remember too that the
- 12:05Lord said that he had created all his great plan for the ages before he even created
- 12:10the earth.
- 12:11And so he knows the exact times, the dates and all, they're set in stone.
- 12:16Donald Trump, as I think a reprieve, the fact that people are reading Bibles again, that's
- 12:21exciting too, but the Lord still works through the church and he's still bringing about
- 12:26his kingdom and it will come all according to his plan.
- 12:30Amen, brother.
- 12:31And I think we need to focus as Christians on the biblical worldview when we look at
- 12:35what's happening in our human government in America.
- 12:39Look at the policies, look at the procedures, look at the platforms instead of a personality
- 12:45because the media wants to make it out about personalities.
- 12:47But we're looking at what is what more aligns with biblical views, the biblical worldview
- 12:53and Christianity.
- 12:55Very briefly, we have to take a break, Nathan.
- 12:57I just want to mention, I can't move on without going to Isaiah 45.
- 13:02God used a pagan king, Cyrus, you know, he can use anybody, he's using me.
- 13:07He's using you, friend, if you're a witness for Christ, if you're shining a light in the
- 13:11darkness somewhere, you're imperfect.
- 13:13But he talks about using Cyrus, it says in verse four, for the sake of Jacob, my servant
- 13:20and Israel, my chosen one of us, I have also called you by your name.
- 13:24I have given you a title of honor, though you have not known me.
- 13:29I am the Lord, and there is no other besides me, there is no God, and then it goes on.
- 13:36But that's Isaiah 45.
- 13:37There's so many instances in the Bible we can look to and go, wow, we can learn a lot
- 13:42instead of being kind of self-righteous and going, I can't vote.
- 13:45I can't get involved in political issues.

- 15:18So Nathan Jones is our guest today with a Christian prophecy, Lamb and Lion ministry.
- 15:23So Nathan, before we get to an article about animals being at peace with mankind, we just
- 15:29want to point out for those of you who are wondering what's going on with the video,
- 15:34we can hear Nathan clearly, but just five minutes before we're going to do the podcast
- 15:38day apparently, the internet went down in your building at Lamb and Lion ministries.
- 15:43So just wanted to share that was for people going, what's going on?
- 15:46So it happens.
- 15:47This is technology, right?
- 15:49Yes.
- 15:50You know, you got to wonder if it's not also spiritual warfare, but yeah, five minutes
- 15:55before, thank the Lord for iPads and I do apologize, folks, for the grainy reception
- 16:00here.
- 16:01The content gets out there.
- 16:03They can understand you and we're plowing through.
- 16:05So again, friends, I would just want to mention the book that's coming out one more time.
- 16:10It's coming out next year.
- 16:11The coming millennial kingdom, what life will be like for us when Jesus reigns on earth.
- 16:16Because one of those things we wonder, what are we going to be eating?
- 16:20And will we be vegetarians?
- 16:22And we're going to talk about that.
- 16:23But there's an article you have called animals will be at peace with mankind.
- 16:27Now Nathan Romans one talks about all creation, groaning.
- 16:33Because we are missing that perfect creation that God originally intended.
- 16:38So go ahead and set us up and share your thoughts and we'll get into animals and mankind.
- 16:43Okay.
- 16:44Well, I mean, there's so much to talk about the millennial kingdom, but just know that
- 16:48one day at the second coming of Jesus Christ at the end of the tribulation, He will return
- 16:53in all His glory.
- 16:54His saints will, that's us.
- 16:56If you're saved, we'll return with him.
- 16:58We'll watch Jesus alone defeat the antichrist and his armies, send him in the false prophet
- 17:04to the lake of fire and Satan to a pit.
- 17:07And then Jesus will rule and reign over the earth from Jerusalem for a thousand years.
- 17:13And it'll be a thousand years of peace and righteousness and justice.
- 17:17And I wrote that article around Thanksgiving because I was kind of thinking about food.
- 17:21I'm like, well, you know, what is the food going to be like during the millennial kingdom?
- 17:25So a little excerpt from my book there is bear in mind that one of the defining characteristics
- 17:32of the kingdom of Christ is that it's a time of peace, a time of no war.
- 17:36And so we read Isaiah 2.4 and the prophecy says they shall beat their swords into plowshares
- 17:41and their spears in a pruning hooks nation shall not lift up sword against nation.
- 17:45Neither shall they learn war anymore.
- 17:48And one of my favorite verses, David, it kind of reminds me of Frodo and the Hobbit sitting
- 17:54under a tree reading he says, but everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree.
- 17:59And no one shall make them afraid for the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.
- 18:04You can read it again in Hosea 217 and 18.
- 18:07Bow and sort of battle I will shatter from the earth to make them lie down in safety.
- 18:13So here we've got this peaceful condition of the kingdom with no war.
- 18:17But there's also a peaceful condition among the animal kingdom.
- 18:21If you go to Isaiah 11 629, it says the wolf also shall dwell with the lamb.
- 18:27The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together
- 18:32and the little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze.
- 18:36Their young one shall lie down together and the lion shall eat straw like an ox.
- 18:41The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole and the wean child put his hand into the
- 18:47viper's den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain.
- 18:52So it's a prophecy about the end of the if you go back to the Noah,
- 18:57when Noah first stepped foot off the ark, the Lord made a covenant with him.
- 19:01And he said, well, you know, before the flood people were vegetarians.
- 19:05I guess it was creation scientists say that, you know, the atmosphere was different and the
- 19:10human body was different. And because of the removal of the water canopy,
- 19:15radiation started affecting us more. And so we had to not just eat plants,
- 19:19but we had to eat meat in order to get the nutrients that we need to survive.
- 19:23So the Lord knowing all things in the no way covenant allowed for people to start eating meat.
- 19:29Now, immediately, you know, the animal kingdom, there was a fear, a great fear put on the animal
- 19:34kingdom of mankind because we started hunting them in eating them. And then animal kind also turned
- 19:40on each other and started eating each other. And that's the condition we've been living in since
- 19:45the flood, but during the millennial kingdom, the animals will no longer eat each other anymore.
- 19:50And I'd like to say, David, is because we are one of the greatest predators on the planet
- 19:55in that peaceful condition. Maybe that means that we will no longer eat meat either.
- 20:01Interesting, interesting thought. I like the idea of no more predator and prey.
- 20:06You know, you think about the prey, the animals that are prey that are just always on the guard.
- 20:10You know, they can't even drink water at peace because you know, they might, something might jump
- 20:15out and kill them. So that's not going to even be an issue anymore. That's just, that's just
- 20:19neat to think about the animal kingdom at peace. But as you said, also at peace with mankind.
- 20:25Before we run out of time, I just want to get to one of my favorite verses in scripture,
- 20:29John 2112 when Jesus said, come and have breakfast. I love breakfast. But he said in Luke 24,
- 20:37that's not one of my favorite scriptures. I just said that, but it is in the Bible where he
- 20:40said to them, come and have breakfast. He said, have you anything here to eat? And they gave him a
- 20:47piece of broiled fish. He took it and ate it before them. So this is the glorified body, the
- 20:54resurrected Jesus, eating fish. So that's interesting. So we're not necessarily going to be
- 21:02vegetarians. Whatever you want to share on that, Nathan, I'm sure you wrote a little bit about that
- 21:07in your new book. Yes. Well, Jesus resurrected body is the template for our resurrected bodies.
- 21:13Therefore, we know we're going to look the same, you know, but maybe we'll do some other things
- 21:17that the Lord did pop in a room to send up to heaven. You know, but he ate and that's encouraging.
- 21:23So our, the Bible also talks about us eating from the tree of life to sustain us during the
- 21:29eternal state. So because Jesus could eat meat, you know, there's a possibility. We also read
- 21:35about how there's going to be sacrifices, animal sacrifices in the millennial temple, which there's
- 21:41a lot of attention over why that is. But some believe it's for the purification of the priests
- 21:47and the priesthood would eat the meat. So there's a chance that our glorified bodies obviously can
- 21:53still eat meat in Jesus ate fish, but it also could mean that for there to be a peaceful condition,
- 21:59there's no more killing anymore. Now, certainly after the millennial kingdom into the eternal state,
- 22:03where the Lord has destroyed death, then obviously we're not going to be eating meat anymore because
- 22:07we'd have to kill. But during the millennial kingdom, it's a question. So I kind of left the article
- 22:12ambiguous because the Bible hasn't told us for sure whether we're going to go back to a vegetarian
- 22:18state or not during the millennial kingdom, but it seems to indicate that. Yes. It's interesting.
- 22:24We don't talk a lot about this, but it's fun to think about. I mean, and then there are those,
- 22:29especially the man who say, oh, come on, I can't imagine not having steak. Especially with
- 22:38a one sauce and lots of onions and mushrooms. Oh boy. That's funny. So in this article,
- 22:47you talked about seminarian Edward Wheeler and his take on Isaiah's vision. Can you tell us a
- 22:52little bit more about that? He took Isaiah's vision even further. He included that Isaiah was
- 22:56prophesying the fulfillment of mankind's millennial dream of a new age when conflict would cease and
- 23:02the world would be free from suffering and pain. So he took an allegorical or a spiritualized
- 23:06interpretation of that scripture and said, well, that just meant to mean it's a peaceful time period.
- 23:14So there are people that spiritualize scripture, but David, you probably like we do,
- 23:19we go by the golden rule of interpretation. If the plain sense makes sense, look for no other
- 23:23sense, less you end up with nonsense. So we interpret the Bible literally and I'd say if there's
- 23:28peace between animals, then that's exactly what they'll be. Amen, brother. Amen. I know this wasn't
- 23:35in the article, but a lot of people are hoping their pets are going to be in heaven.
- 23:40What do you, I mean, I have a take on that, but what do you tell people about their dogs or cats?
- 23:48And I mean, there will be animals in heaven. You know what I mean? But so animal pets don't have
- 23:55spirits that can be saved. But I don't want to close it or completely Nathan, I want to get you
- 24:03in trouble. Go ahead. Well, thank you. Yes. I created a teaching video on this. One of our inbox
- 24:10series of folks can find on our christian problems, a YouTube channel. Got a lot of heat for it,
- 24:14because a lot of people want their animals to be in heaven. But I agree with you, David.
- 24:19The Lord breathed the breath of life. He gave humanity souls, not animal souls. He might have
- 24:24died for the restoration of creation, but he died for our lives to be eternal, not animals. So
- 24:30I agree in heaven and millennial kingdom. There'll be lots of animals and some of them could even be
- 24:36our pets. But I don't believe that the Lord is going to resurrect our pets. And frankly,
- 24:41why just our pets? You know, wouldn't be every plankton and protozoan that he ever made,
- 24:46wouldn't make sense or would we take care of our pets forever? You know, these are the questions
- 24:51people don't ask or frankly, my wife had two paracates that I'm pretty sure going to hell.
- 24:56So what about pets going to hell? You know, there's a lot of theological questions involved in
- 25:01this, but I agree with you. And people, even Dr. David Reagan, you know, great our founder believes
- 25:09that pets go to heaven. And I think that's where a lot of Christians let their heart lead before
- 25:13their theology. That's funny. That's so funny. I mean, it's interesting to think about, but I mean,
- 25:19we've got to come back to who did Jesus die for why did Jesus die for to redeem us from the sin
- 25:28curse from sin. Now animals don't sin. Anyway, there's so many things to think about. I mean,
- 25:34I've had dogs on my life. And I would love to be in heaven with them. But I'm thinking, I can't
- 25:40imagine anything better than being with Jesus. And as we were just talking about being at peace with
- 25:46no wars, no conflict, no pain, no tears, no mourning, wrap us up here in the last minute or a minute
- 25:54and a half, Nathan Jones. Jesus Christ is coming to set up his kingdom on us. Or this is a given.
- 26:00And he said that the time period that this would happen is when Israel becomes a nation again.
- 26:06Israel has been a nation since May of 1948. We know then that the Lord's coming is soon. He's
- 26:12going to use the tribulation time period to bring a remnant of Israel to the salvation and to make
- 26:18them a priestly people during the millennial kingdom. They will bring the remnant of Gentiles born
- 26:24of the tribulation saints to see Jesus every year at the marriage. Excuse me, the feast of tabernacles.
- 26:31And we as the glorified saints will rule and reign on Jesus over these people. So David is an amazing
- 26:39kingdom that's accomplished so many details. We couldn't possibly cover them all here. But I look
- 26:45forward to being in the millennial kingdom with you all to be in the millennial kingdom to be a
- 26:49citizen of the kingdom. You must be saved. And that's great news saved to be saved by grace through
- 26:55faith. We all get to look forward to that. Again, friends, you can pre-order the book The Coming
- 26:59Millennial Kingdom. What life will be like for us when Jesus reigns on earth by Nathan Jones. Brother,
- 27:08it's so good to see you and connect with you. It worked out. We got through it. So you have a
- 27:13wonderful Christmas season. Lord willing, we'll talk to you again before the book officially is released.
- 27:18Thank you. God bless you. All right. Thanks, Nathan. All right, friends. And God bless you. Thanks
- 27:24for your prayers. And as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
- 27:37You
