- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I I will say I appreciate the support from folks uh with their text on this on on what's going on with my mouth today.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: But Natalie, Natalie, I'm so mouth.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: Uh if I sound at some point like the last interviews of Dolly Parton where I'm a little clickity-clackly, it's not deliberate.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Well, I don't think she's gonna give you a whole new set of teeth.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: No, no, although Doug said I needed dentures.
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: Oh, I know two people that have had some new teeth, and they definitely have the clickety-clackety.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: Oh, I just need somebody to get in there with one of them pokers and well, first maybe numb me.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: Oh, speaking of one, one-three-two, I've had an abscess before and poked at it.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: It's gross, and then I had to have a root canal talk about fun.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: Ah, yeah.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Natalie, you can just shut your hole right now.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: The smell had to have been atrocious.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Right now, I don't think I have a raging smell.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: I've properly brushed.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: I've uh swished with the mouthwash.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: What?
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: It's it's once that once it pops?
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: Or once it gets exposed, then so you might not have bad breath the second.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: Although I'm wondering if there is that smell of infection in there.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Now I'm not gonna smell it.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: So you can leave that for Tiffany.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: So gross.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: So gross.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: She says, uh, she says, I've uh I feel you, Scott.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: I was diagnosed with TMJ.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: What the hell's that?
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Too much junk?
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: I mean, I need your doctor for a diagnosis like that.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: It's like a lockjaw type.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, your husband must love that.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Anyway, uh uh diagnosed with TMJ recently after my jaw slipped most out of socket.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Ow! Oh my god! Does it have to get worse?
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: I've been uh going to the dentist a lot lately, yeah, I can imagine.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: And uh let's see, have to go again uh today.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Maybe I'll see you there.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Uh TMJ.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: If it drops on the floor, I'll pick it up for you, okay?
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Affects the hinge joints connecting your jawbone to your skull.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Along with the surrounding muscles that control the movement.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: So you they say it wasn't too much junk.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: You get a lot of uh they said it's a lot of pain and tenderness in the jaw, face, neck, shoulders, and ears, clicking, popping, or grating, stiffness and locking, headaches, earaches, and then changes how your upper and lower teeth fit together.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: No, the the only wow, the only uh the only thing going on for me is from my front teeth up to my ear.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: I just feel like somebody's been punching at me.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: Oh, I don't I don't think that you have uh TMJ.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Somebody even said, uh, not so good, everyone.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: Sorry about your toothache, Scott.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: Also, I sprained my knee cutting the grass Friday.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: We're all gonna die.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: Jeez, Louise.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Instead, I'm limping around like a lame racehorse.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: So what happened?
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: Did you hit like the hole in the yard?
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: Oh, I hate when that happened.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: Randomly you're walking along right down.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Um then Doug, thanks a lot.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: You're rooting for the toothache.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Way to be, man.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: That's nice.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: I was gonna tell you, you're coming to the listener appreciation party now.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Well, all right, you're still coming.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: Okay, good.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: Uh, I have to tell you the fun, super fun thing that we ended up doing over the weekend.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: I talked about it last two weeks, looking for a pumpkin patch that was closer to Buffalo.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: But not the most expensive.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: We're gonna it's like the Disneyland, we're gonna take, you know, every step a$10 bill from you.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Oh no, we went to we ended up at the most expensive one.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: We went to, it's called like the Great Pumpkin Patch.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, St.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: Clarence.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Tim.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, that's the one.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: They are printing money there.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: Yes, they are.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: It is so fun, but so expensive.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: Six of us, wait, four, yeah.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, six of us went into the corn maze, eighty-four dollars.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Five of you returned.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: $84.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: I told you,$35.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: That would have been the end of it for me, right there.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: We got there, and of course, we're taking pictures by the pumpkins.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: We feed the goats.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: That's only 25 cents.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: That's pretty easy.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: We go and get a pumpkin beer, and then we get to Which also was$25.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: That was the cheapest thing there.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: So Zach and I both got the same beer, 18 bucks.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: Not the worst, not the best, but 18 bucks.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: So then we get to the corn maze and they're like, no alcohol.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: What on that thing?
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: What?
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: We're adults.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Like, what what do you mean no alcohol?
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: This is the weirdest thing.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: I just bought it from your property.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: I can't have alcohol in here.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: I'm like, can you pretend that it's not in here?
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: Like, this yeah, why no alcohol?
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: I don't understand.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Um, maybe because uh well, that, but also corn mazes are high.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: And for those people, they probably don't want the liability of somebody taking a sip that shouldn't of a certain age.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: And it's all real high, so it'd be hard to see.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: I thought that was so weird.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: Maybe they could have, I don't know, signaged that better before you bought it, like where you could have been like, or even at the bar you put it and be like, enjoy this now, but our ride areas are alcohol free.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: That would have been smart.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: I mean, for$84 a corn maze, you can't print that sign.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: But I did want to tell you that what the corn maze was.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: It said, go bills, and then there was a football player in position to throw a ball.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Excellent.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: It was awesome.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: But that was actually the thing that helped us get through it because Zach is actually deathly afraid of corn mazes.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: You've told me.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: So finally, his nephew, who's uh uh 10, 11 years old, he's like, wait a second, we're in the B right now.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: Okay, once we figured out what letter we were in, we're like so.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: You sort of follow it.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we followed the word.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: And we're like, oh my gosh, thank you, baby.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Jesus.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: You are something.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: $84 for an experience he hates too.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: That's really awesome that you got him to do that one.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: I bought him a pumpkin beer.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: I made sure he was happy.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: It's a chug.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: And then if we had to run through the corn maze because we were going to bowling afterwards, yes.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Where'd you go bowling?
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Um strikers.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: I was hoping you made it to transit lanes up there.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: I used to bowl there as a kid, but now it's like a palace.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: This was we've talked about that before.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: No, this isn't like a palace, it but it was awesome.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: This was like the classic bowling alley, yes, with a little more modern flair, but regardless.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: So we go bowling, and then somebody from the bowling team, because we were just there to hang out, somebody from the bowling team had to bounce early and go grab a kid.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: So I was the pinch hitter.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: Oh, we random buffalo bowling team.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: And I got over a hundred.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: Uh, thank you.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: It's the most buffalo story ever.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: It was so much fun.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: That's great.
