- 0:33Speaker 1: They did the backsplash.
- 0:34Speaker 2: They The new sink, and I will tell you, they
- 0:38Speaker 2: did everything and they realized that the sink came in
- 0:43Speaker 2: a little bit lower because the other one, because of
- 0:46Speaker 2: the countertops, was sat in and this one was undermount.
- 0:49Speaker 1: They're like, we're going to have to do some refiguring.
- 0:51Speaker 1: They handled it. They're like, you know what we're going
- 0:53Speaker 1: to have to do? We're going to have to cut
- 0:54Speaker 1: in here.
- 0:55Speaker 2: We're going to make this better here. We're going to
- 0:56Speaker 2: readjust things there. And I was like, OK.
- 0:58Speaker 1: And they just handled it. They just took care of it.
- 1:02Speaker 1: They plan for everything. When something comes up and they're like,
- 1:05Speaker 1: wait a second, there's.

- 1:49Speaker 2: Popcorn Moment. Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go.
- 1:53Speaker 2: It's a story you need to hear to believe. Then
- 1:57Speaker 2: grab your popcorn because there is more. This was the
- 2:06Speaker 2: governor of.
- 2:10Speaker 1: New Mexico. And I was trying to figure out, is
- 2:19Speaker 1: this new or is this from 2023?
- 2:25Speaker 3: 2023.
- 2:26Speaker 2: When the governor was trying to ban firearms, and I'm
- 2:32Speaker 2: staring at this video, and I'm like, when is this from?
- 2:35Speaker 1: Now, no one's in a mask in this video. And
- 2:40Speaker 1: I'm like, I want to.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Say that this is newer, that this seems to be
- 2:47Speaker 2: something that's back up in the conversation. So I couldn't
- 2:52Speaker 2: figure out what I was actually looking at in terms of,
- 2:56Speaker 2: When this was said, but I want to put forth
- 3:00Speaker 2: to you where a philosophy lies. This is the governor
- 3:08Speaker 2: of New Mexico, Grisham. And this was the conversation as
- 3:17Speaker 2: she's sitting next to law enforcement.
- 3:20Speaker 1: This was her. Yeah.
- 3:22Speaker 3: But your point is valid. You took an oath to
- 3:24Speaker 3: the Constitution.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Isn't it unconstitutional to say you cannot exercise your carry license?
- 3:31Speaker 3: With one exception, and that is if there's an emergency,
- 3:36Speaker 3: and I've declared an emergency for a temporary amount of time,
- 3:40Speaker 3: I can invoke additional powers. No constitutional right, in my view,
- 3:46Speaker 3: including my oath, is intended to be absolute.
- 3:50Speaker 2: There Your oath is not absolute. Now, I'm, again, I
- 3:57Speaker 2: look at this and I say, I don't know why
- 3:59Speaker 2: this popped up into my feed. The governor's name is
- 4:02Speaker 2: Michelle Lujan Grisham. But I took that and I watched it.
- 4:07Speaker 2: I said, first of all, how maddening that you think
- 4:10Speaker 2: because of some emergency that you declare, you can decide
- 4:14Speaker 2: that we no longer have our rights.
- 4:18Speaker 1: But how....
- 4:20Speaker 2: Radical that you could say that your oath is not absolute.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And that part struck me.
- 4:28Speaker 3: There's an emergency, and I've declared an emergency for a
- 4:32Speaker 3: temporary amount of time. I can invoke additional powers. No
- 4:37Speaker 3: constitutional right, in my view, including my oath, is intended
- 4:42Speaker 3: to be absolute.
- 4:45Speaker 1: If an oath isn't absolute, can I ask.
- 4:51Speaker 1: What an oath is.
- 4:56Speaker 2: If the oath isn't absolute, why take it? Again, this
- 5:05Speaker 2: could have been from three years ago. But that sentiment,
- 5:09Speaker 2: which I had not heard at the time, I thought
- 5:11Speaker 2: was worthy of sharing.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Is this the way.
- 5:20Speaker 2: People still are is is this what we see that
- 5:23Speaker 2: the that we everything that we are supposed to want
- 5:29Speaker 2: to hold to is somehow now up for grabs and
- 5:32Speaker 2: up for debate it came on the heels of a
- 5:35Speaker 2: story about populism wall street journal the growing popularity of
- 5:42Speaker 2: populist policies which is not an easy thing to say
- 5:46Speaker 2: thank goodness i'm a trained professional There's support for caps
- 5:53Speaker 2: on prescription drug prices and strong border security. Well, the
- 5:57Speaker 2: idea that you should have caps on prescription prices, that's...
- 6:03Speaker 2: So now we want the government to decide profits.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Do we understand what we're saying here?
- 6:12Speaker 2: Do we understand how much this aligns with Bernie Sanders
- 6:15Speaker 2: and Zoran Mamdani? Is everybody sure of what they're doing?
- 6:22Speaker 2: And this, would you call this moral relativism? Is that
- 6:27Speaker 2: how it would get described, the concept of moral relativism?
- 6:33Speaker 2: That somehow you can just make a change in your
- 6:46Speaker 2: value system because, well, that's the way everyone is now.
- 6:51Speaker 2: The values is about how we should be. The values
- 6:55Speaker 2: is about holding on to something. We hear often about
- 6:57Speaker 2: our values, but look at how they morph and change
- 7:02Speaker 2: and maneuver.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Based on it.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Being easier. You don't hold on to a value because
- 7:12Speaker 2: it's easy. You hold on to a value because you
- 7:15Speaker 2: actually value it. When I eat bacon, sorry, Rabbi, I
- 7:26Speaker 2: don't expect Judaism to change.
- 7:29Speaker 1: That's insane. I'm not living up to it.
- 7:33Speaker 2: The standard is the standard.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I have fallen below. Why should the standard get ripped asunder?
- 7:43Speaker 1: I took an oath. Oh, well, now the oath is hard. Okay,
- 7:46Speaker 1: no more oath for me.
- 7:50Speaker 2: And you wonder why people submit in the UK or
- 7:55Speaker 2: in other places. And then you realize you don't have
- 7:57Speaker 2: to wonder. It's because they don't actually hold fast to anything.
- 8:03Speaker 2: And we need more people holding fast. Anyway, it came
- 8:08Speaker 2: across my feed and I thought that part about the
- 8:11Speaker 2: oath was really worthy of sharing. That people are willing
- 8:13Speaker 2: to take away your Second Amendment rights. For the Democrats,
- 8:15Speaker 2: that's just standard operating procedure. Tonight, If you are able
- 8:20Speaker 2: to join us, you get the story at wibc.com. Uh,
- 8:24Speaker 2: tonight will be the celebration of life for Mac bear. Uh,
- 8:28Speaker 2: the doors open, I believe at six and, um, I
- 8:36Speaker 2: think the program begins at six 40 and you are welcome, uh, to, to,
- 8:42Speaker 2: to be there, uh, the crew will be there.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I'll be there.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I will be speaking. I, I've written something and I
- 8:49Speaker 2: have thrown it out and I've written something and I've
- 8:51Speaker 2: thrown it out.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Um, I, I think that overall these things are.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Good and I hope people, um, attend and, and, and, uh,
- 9:02Speaker 2: feel good about being there.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Uh, I, I've always known that I'm in, in many ways,
- 9:09Speaker 1: just one odd guy.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Um, I was more prepared for this a week ago
- 9:19Speaker 2: than I am today. I'm not going to break down
- 9:23Speaker 2: or anything like that.
- 9:24Speaker 1: That is not my want, but rather, I don't know.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I have thrown out what I was going to say
- 9:32Speaker 2: numerous times because I don't think it's something that I
- 9:35Speaker 2: want to just off the cuff. I think it should matter.
- 9:40Speaker 2: And I haven't found anything yet that rises to the occasion,
- 9:43Speaker 2: but I will be there. I hope to do well
- 9:47Speaker 2: by you. I hope to see you there. It should
- 9:49Speaker 2: be a funny night. There are stories. There are lots
- 9:54Speaker 2: of stories. The chicks came into town. Mock and Daisy.
- 10:01Speaker 2: They will both be there. Hammer Nigel will be there.
