- 0:08Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the Rita Patticky Show. Coming
- 0:11Speaker 3: up tonight.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Till Zalis Segor causes up ror after backing a call
- 0:15Speaker 4: to build.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Social and affordable homes.
- 0:17Speaker 4: On a prime parcel of defense land in Sydney's North Shore.
- 0:21Speaker 4: Nikata will join me to cover today's top headlines. India
- 0:25Speaker 4: overtakes England as the top country of birth for Australia's
- 0:29Speaker 4: overseas born population. Leif Vanonsalin will join me to break
- 0:33Speaker 4: down the latest start. Mi Horowitz will have the latest
- 0:37Speaker 4: from the US, including a former reality TV star who
- 0:40Speaker 4: wants to bring back the Golden Age of Los Angeles
- 0:44Speaker 4: and Americans are falling in love with King Charles. But
- 0:48Speaker 4: Zorin Mamdani had a difficult question for the Monarch, or
- 0:51Speaker 4: did he? Kinsey Scofield will bring us royal and entertainment
- 0:55Speaker 4: news and Left Is Losing It features Marcus Marxist millionaire
- 1:00Speaker 4: Hassan Piker, who has some words of advice for me.
- 1:06Speaker 5: Lady, don't you have a dingo story to cover? Why
- 1:10Speaker 5: are you talking about Hassan Piker?
- 1:14Speaker 4: But first, the interim Report of the Anti Semitism Royal
- 1:17Speaker 4: Commission has been released and includes fourteen recommendations from Commission
- 1:21Speaker 4: of Virginia Bell's examination of the December fourteenth Bondie attack.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Her report recommends the government look at making the role
- 1:29Speaker 4: of Commonwealth counter Terrorism Coordinator a full time position. It
- 1:33Speaker 4: also recommends making national security ministers, including the Prime Minister,
- 1:37Speaker 4: take part in a counter terrorism exercise. Bell also called
- 1:41Speaker 4: for the government to prioritize establishing a national firearms register
- 1:46Speaker 4: and gun buy back. Five of the fourteen recommendations will
- 1:50Speaker 4: also remain classified for security reasons. The Prime Minister said
- 1:55Speaker 4: the government has adopted and will implement all their recommendations.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Joining me now is Menzies Research Center Senior fellow Nikita
- 2:03Speaker 4: Nick Justice. Bell also urged heightened security for major Jewish events.
- 2:11Speaker 6: Well, look, I don't want to be rude at their
- 2:13Speaker 6: first attempt to Rita. And look, we haven't seen the
- 2:16Speaker 6: full report. Some of it's redacted. There's more to come,
- 2:19Speaker 6: but what we have seen so far I think just
- 2:22Speaker 6: looks like housekeeping. To me. It's the sort of thing
- 2:24Speaker 6: which we would expect our security forces to be doing
- 2:27Speaker 6: on a regular basis, upgrading their assessment of threats how
- 2:31Speaker 6: we deal with it, the change in nature of terrorism.
- 2:34Speaker 6: Sure ain't. Let's give Anthony Albanesi a terrorism exercise if
- 2:38Speaker 6: he needs it. All that, but we have not yet,
- 2:41Speaker 6: as far as I can see, in this report, addressed
- 2:44Speaker 6: with the peculiar evil of Bondi, which was antisemitism. How
- 2:48Speaker 6: antisemitism was allowed to flourish in this country to such
- 2:53Speaker 6: a level that two people allegedly went on a bridge
- 2:56Speaker 6: and aimed guns at a ten year old girl and
- 3:00Speaker 6: a Holocaust survivor. You know, this is just not your
- 3:04Speaker 6: average common or garden terrorism. This is terrorism with a horrible,
- 3:09Speaker 6: horrible edge to it. It's an antisemitic edge that we antisemitism.
- 3:13Speaker 6: We thought we've pretty much had reasonably under control in
- 3:17Speaker 6: this country compared to other countries. We clearly haven't. So
- 3:20Speaker 6: how's that allowed to happen? What's the goal of the
- 3:23Speaker 6: government in normalizing this by always talking about antisemitism and
- 3:28Speaker 6: is Lamophobia in the same breath. I want to see
- 3:30Speaker 6: more out of this Royal Commissioner, and let's hope she's
- 3:33Speaker 6: working on those bits of that report now.
- 3:38Speaker 4: And there's been plenty said about law abiding gun owners
- 3:41Speaker 4: being a focus of this interim report. Do you think
- 3:45Speaker 4: that is a sound position to take a killing your break.
- 3:50Speaker 6: I mean again, it's housekeeping, right, you know. Sure, if
- 3:53Speaker 6: there are things that need tightening up in our gun laws,
- 3:56Speaker 6: we expect state governments to be looking at that every
- 3:59Speaker 6: week of the year. That's not the problem here. The
- 4:01Speaker 6: problem was not the availability of guns. The problem was
- 4:06Speaker 6: the hatred in the hearts of some people that were
- 4:09Speaker 6: prepared to use guns allegedly for these terrible evil ends.
- 4:14Speaker 6: That's what we want to be looking at, not guns.
- 4:16Speaker 6: I mean, it's a larger version of what you've seen
- 4:19Speaker 6: in Victoria with the machete bins, isn't it. You know,
- 4:23Speaker 6: and we know there that law abiding machete owners give
- 4:26Speaker 6: their machetes in people with evil intent do not same
- 4:30Speaker 6: with guns.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Now, let's go to Victoria and the state's Aboriginal cultural
- 4:36Speaker 4: heritage laws are causing major cost blowouts and delays in
- 4:40Speaker 4: building roads, pipelines, housing environmental works. Under state legislation, every
- 4:47Speaker 4: project must be assessed by the local registered Aboriginal group
- 4:50Speaker 4: before construction can begin.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Victoria has twelve.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Registered Aboriginal parties and an army of three hundred and
- 4:57Speaker 4: fifty two heritage consultants and just have a look at
- 5:00Speaker 4: some of these costs. We've got two and a half
- 5:03Speaker 4: million dollars to provide cultural services to Melbourne Water. Victoria's
- 5:08Speaker 4: Murray Floodplain restoration projects have also required one point seventy
- 5:12Speaker 4: four million dollars in cultural heritage assessments, one point one
- 5:17Speaker 4: five million for complex assessments and testing of artifacts as
- 5:20Speaker 4: part of the Great Ocean Road Coastal Walking Track assessment,
- 5:25Speaker 4: more than five hundred and ten thousand to assess an
- 5:28Speaker 4: upgrade to the Davies Plane four wheel drive track and campgrounds,
- 5:33Speaker 4: and more than twelve hundred more than two hundred thousand,
- 5:37Speaker 4: I should say to develop a cultural heritage management plan
- 5:41Speaker 4: for wastewater upgrades at Hillsville Nick. The Weekly Times has
- 5:47Speaker 4: done great work here reporting on this issue. And these
- 5:52Speaker 4: Aboriginal cultural heritage laws are coming at great costs. They
- 5:57Speaker 4: are slowing down development and they're adding additional costs.
- 6:01Speaker 6: They are in full march of the held of Weekly
- 6:03Speaker 6: Times for doing this. I mean this has been a
- 6:05Speaker 6: sleeper for a while, right Every developer or builder will
- 6:08Speaker 6: tell you about the delays and costs to do with
- 6:11Speaker 6: this black tape. You know the heritage laws, but WI
- 6:15Speaker 6: is me even more about this for REATA is the
- 6:17Speaker 6: completely unregulated, unmanaged nature of the process. There's no due
- 6:23Speaker 6: process here, right, Okay, you want to build something, you
- 6:26Speaker 6: have to call in an aboriginal archaeological assessor suitably qualified
- 6:33Speaker 6: who says they're suitably qualified, I don't know. You pay
- 6:37Speaker 6: them to do the work and then they give you
- 6:39Speaker 6: the tick or they give you the cross. Of course,
- 6:41Speaker 6: this is wide open for corruption. I'm not making any
- 6:44Speaker 6: allegations in any particular case, except to say that if
- 6:47Speaker 6: you had somebody who just thought they'd make it difficult
- 6:50Speaker 6: for a developer in the hope that they could get
- 6:53Speaker 6: more money out of them, Well, I'm told that is
- 6:56Speaker 6: happening in parts of the country. So this not just
- 7:00Speaker 6: the process, not just the fact that why should we
- 7:02Speaker 6: have this special layer just for one particular group of
- 7:07Speaker 6: the country based on racial background, but the way it's
- 7:11Speaker 6: managed and the scope for corruption if people were so minded,
- 7:16Speaker 6: that's a real problem with this.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Now.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Ben Roberts Smith brought a couple to Tears on Anzac
- 7:24Speaker 4: day after he made a surprise visit to the home
- 7:27Speaker 4: of supporters who were displaying a WE support BRS banner.
- 7:32Speaker 4: The former SAS soldier was at an ANZAC day service
- 7:36Speaker 4: when he spotted the sign It's not hard to do miss.
- 7:40Speaker 4: He paid them a visit to thank them for their
- 7:43Speaker 4: support and also introduce them to his family Nick. The
- 7:46Speaker 4: couple were reportedly brought to tears.
- 7:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:49Speaker 6: Well, it goes to the character of this man, doesn't it.
- 7:52Speaker 6: Who's been vilified mercilessly in the particularly in the Channel
- 7:57Speaker 6: nine press. I think the vast majority, the outpouring of
- 8:03Speaker 6: reaction since since the absolutely appalling arrest and the manner
- 8:08Speaker 6: in that rest was made, the outpouring reaction from ordinary
- 8:11Speaker 6: decent Australians who believe that their soldiers are particularly Ben
- 8:16Speaker 6: Robert Smith, are genuine heroes. I mean, he had his
- 8:19Speaker 6: citation for the Victoria Cross stands. It hasn't changed. This
- 8:25Speaker 6: man is a war hero and I think the vast
- 8:29Speaker 6: majority of people in this country it is clear. I
- 8:31Speaker 6: think there's something amiss with this whole process where they
- 8:35Speaker 6: pursued him for years and now bringing these charges against him.
- 8:38Speaker 6: Albeit of course let's let the courts decide, but in
- 8:42Speaker 6: the court of public opinion, I think this has already
- 8:44Speaker 6: been decided.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Now.
- 8:48Speaker 4: The man who stormed the stage at Woodside Energy's recent
- 8:51Speaker 4: annual General meeting last week has been identified as Oscar Wilson,
- 8:55Speaker 4: who is the son of Federal Labor MP Josh Wilson. Now,
- 9:00Speaker 4: Wilson was grabbed by security after he leapt over a
- 9:04Speaker 4: barricade and jumped on stage. He was one of thirty
- 9:07Speaker 4: anti gas protesters who were issued move on notices by
- 9:11Speaker 4: police for causing.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Disruptions of the event.
- 9:14Speaker 4: It's interesting to note, yet, Nick, that Oscar was there
- 9:17Speaker 4: to protest the very gas project that his father's government approved.
- 9:23Speaker 4: In fact, his father was very close to losing his
- 9:25Speaker 4: seat to a Climate two hundred backed independent at the
- 9:29Speaker 4: last election.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I wonder who Oscar voted for.
- 9:31Speaker 7: Nick.
- 9:32Speaker 6: Well, you know, if we've got to blame parents every
- 9:36Speaker 6: time their children behave like turkeys, then that would be
- 9:39Speaker 6: a little unfair, Reacher, let's face it. But it does
- 9:42Speaker 6: show you how close to the surface this issue is
- 9:45Speaker 6: for labor and labour often seems to those of us
- 9:48Speaker 6: on the sort of sensible right of politics to be terribly,
- 9:53Speaker 6: terribly green and off to the left. But it just
- 9:56Speaker 6: shows you that in many respects, what looks to us
- 9:59Speaker 6: like a very left wing government is actually a long
- 10:02Speaker 6: way towards the center. From where a lot of the
- 10:05Speaker 6: opinion on the left is. I mean, this is the
- 10:07Speaker 6: minister's own son who thinks that we shouldn't have gas.
- 10:11Speaker 6: You know, the very thing, of course, that's enabled the
- 10:13Speaker 6: prosperity of this country, that's given him no doubt or
- 10:16Speaker 6: wonderful education and everything a kid could want all comes
- 10:20Speaker 6: of course from the resources sector. That's what makes this
- 10:22Speaker 6: country prosperous. He's turned his back on that. I hope
- 10:28Speaker 6: his father gives him a stern talking to.
- 10:32Speaker 4: I wonder who's paying the bills. I don't know much
- 10:34Speaker 4: about this case.
- 10:35Speaker 3: But I don't know.
- 10:37Speaker 4: I think until a certain age, parents do have some
- 10:40Speaker 4: responsibility because so many parents seem to nick shy away
- 10:46Speaker 4: from discussing these issues. Their kids come from school with
- 10:49Speaker 4: all sorts of ideas about all sorts of issues, and
- 10:53Speaker 4: they don't want to push back. They don't want to
- 10:56Speaker 4: have that debate. Why do you think that is? I
- 10:58Speaker 4: think this is one of the things that divide are
- 11:01Speaker 4: some ethnic families and some Australian ones where there's a
- 11:07Speaker 4: reluctance to really tackle this stuff and have some robust
- 11:11Speaker 4: debate at the dinner table.
- 11:13Speaker 6: Well as a parent myself, as you're a parent rito
- 11:16Speaker 6: I hesitate to.
- 11:18Speaker 3: We have robust debates.
- 11:19Speaker 6: We do have robust debates, and certainly my kids may
- 11:23Speaker 6: have very interesting opinions, but neither of them are off
- 11:26Speaker 6: with the Green Left. I doubt that your wonderful son
- 11:28Speaker 6: is either so yes, no way. Parental guidance on these
- 11:33Speaker 6: issues and talking about these issues at home, countering the nonsense,
- 11:37Speaker 6: of course that they get all day at school. That's
- 11:39Speaker 6: a very important job for parents.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Absolutely Now till independent Zali Steggel has back calls to
- 11:47Speaker 4: build social and affordable homes on a prime pipe parcel
- 11:51Speaker 4: of defense land in Sydney's North Show chunks of Hmas
- 11:55Speaker 4: Penguin will be sold off after it was found in
- 11:58Speaker 4: an independent order to hold little strategic value. It does
- 12:02Speaker 4: hold a lot of residential value. It's worth around six
- 12:05Speaker 4: hundred and seventy five million dollars and the sale has
- 12:08Speaker 4: driven a wedge between North Sydney locals and Zali Stegel.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Nick locals fear heritage and environmental protections could be wound
- 12:18Speaker 4: back to achieve this sale.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Do you have any sympathy for these folks?
- 12:22Speaker 4: They backed Zali Stegel in a number of elections now
- 12:26Speaker 4: and suddenly they're upset, are they?
- 12:29Speaker 6: Nimbi's I have to say this is in my electorate actually, reader,
- 12:32Speaker 6: and it's a part of Zari Stebele's electric that she
- 12:35Speaker 6: took off North Sydney. So we think we're refused. Next,
- 12:38Speaker 6: we're newcomers to Zali's raw, which is honestly, I know
- 12:43Speaker 6: that site very well. It's a lovely spot where kids
- 12:45Speaker 6: and parents go for recreation and I think she's completely
- 12:50Speaker 6: missed the pulse here. This should be. This is a
- 12:53Speaker 6: nice piece of a waterfront land. I believe that should
- 12:56Speaker 6: be open to the public for recreation and walks. Sure
- 13:00Speaker 6: you can build a little bit further back. I think
- 13:02Speaker 6: there's scope on that block, but affordable housing.
- 13:05Speaker 3: No.
- 13:06Speaker 6: This is some of the most prime real estate in
- 13:09Speaker 6: North Sydney. And what I'd say is, yeah, sure you
- 13:12Speaker 6: build affordable housing somewhere, but why not sell this off
- 13:15Speaker 6: to the highest bidder for some luxury penthouse flats and
- 13:18Speaker 6: then use that money to build affordable housing out in
- 13:21Speaker 6: the areas where the jobs are.
- 13:24Speaker 4: And also, you could build so much more if you're
- 13:27Speaker 4: build in areas where the land isn't worth as much.
- 13:30Speaker 4: But they've got this. It's an ideological position. We've seen
- 13:33Speaker 4: it with labor here in Victoria, where they want to
- 13:36Speaker 4: put public housing in the most affluent areas because they
- 13:39Speaker 4: think every suburb should have some access to public housing.
- 13:44Speaker 4: But it just means you have less public housing in totals.
- 13:48Speaker 4: I don't know how that is a win. Nikata always
- 13:51Speaker 4: a pleasure, thank you. Now, India has officially overtaken England
- 13:57Speaker 4: as the top country of birth for australia overseas born population.
- 14:02Speaker 4: New data released by the Australian Bureau Statistics shows the
- 14:05Speaker 4: Indian born population has risen to over nine hundred and
- 14:08Speaker 4: seventy one thousand. China, New Zealand and the Philippines round
- 14:13Speaker 4: out the top five countries. Australia had eight point eight
- 14:17Speaker 4: million overseas born residents in twenty twenty five, compared to
- 14:20Speaker 4: eighteen point eight million born within the country. Joining me
- 14:25Speaker 4: now is chief economist and co founder of macro Business
- 14:29Speaker 4: Leith Vanonsulin. Leith any surprises in that latest data, not
- 14:35Speaker 4: really so.
- 14:36Speaker 8: This trend towards massive Indian migration has really been going
- 14:40Speaker 8: on for a decade, but especially since the pandemic, so
- 14:43Speaker 8: we've seen an absolute explosion in arrivals from India and
- 14:49Speaker 8: they've roughly doubled in the last five years or so.
- 14:52Speaker 8: The numbers are at least last decade and the now
- 14:54Speaker 8: our largest microant group. They've also driven the explosion in
- 14:59Speaker 8: temporary visas and also the explosion in bridging visas because
- 15:02Speaker 8: a lot of them have stayed in Australia once their
- 15:04Speaker 8: visas have expired and they're now appealing to the Ministry
- 15:07Speaker 8: Review Tribunal. So and I honestly can't see this stopping
- 15:12Speaker 8: Rita because the government, both the former government this government
- 15:15Speaker 8: have signed three migration packs effectively to boost Indian migration.
- 15:19Speaker 8: So I think it's going to continue.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Now you've written about the government's fringe benefits tax exemption
- 15:26Speaker 4: for battery electric vehicles. The exemption's estimated annual cost is
- 15:31Speaker 4: projected to rise from ninety million to one point four
- 15:35Speaker 4: billion in twenty twenty five twenty six leath. The government
- 15:38Speaker 4: claims this mainly benefits middle income earners, but data from
- 15:42Speaker 4: the ATO shows that more than thirty percent of motorists
- 15:46Speaker 4: accessing this scheme earned over one hundred and ninety thousand
- 15:50Speaker 4: dollars a year.
- 15:52Speaker 8: Yeah, it's absolutely crazy. So even tax breaks, the fringe
- 15:55Speaker 8: benefit tax break is a classic case of upper class
- 15:58Speaker 8: welfare and reverse rob hood. So according to this start
- 16:02Speaker 8: from the AVIA the ATO published in the AF more
- 16:05Speaker 8: than thirty percent of motorists accessing this earn over one
- 16:08Speaker 8: hundred ninety thousand. Even worse than that reader because another
- 16:10Speaker 8: twenty four percent earn between one hundred and thirty five
- 16:13Speaker 8: thousand and one hundred and ninety thousand. So when you
- 16:15Speaker 8: consider that the average tax bill income in Australia in
- 16:17Speaker 8: twenty twenty five was about seventy three thousand, this is
- 16:21Speaker 8: pure upper class welfare. And let me just add also
- 16:24Speaker 8: that evs don't pay road user charges, they don't pay
- 16:27Speaker 8: the fuel exise. They're not paying to use the roads.
- 16:29Speaker 8: Several state governments give registration discounts, and now the electric
- 16:33Speaker 8: vehicles lobby wants taxpayers to subsidize charging networks for them
- 16:37Speaker 8: as well. So personally, I think the government should stop
- 16:40Speaker 8: subsidizing private vehicle transport and especially for rich inner city people.
- 16:46Speaker 4: They manipulate the market like this and then they say, oh,
- 16:50Speaker 4: look how popular electric vehicles are. What are we going
- 16:53Speaker 4: to see an even playing field when it comes to evs.
- 16:58Speaker 8: Yeah, absolutely so we do need it. The whole drive
- 17:01Speaker 8: towards ev should be driven by the market. It should
- 17:04Speaker 8: be driven by consumer preference, not by policy makers. So
- 17:07Speaker 8: policy makers are trying to force us into buying evs,
- 17:10Speaker 8: and I'd honestly argue that it'd be cheaper for Australia
- 17:13Speaker 8: simply for people to buy hybrids instead, because you don't
- 17:16Speaker 8: need to rejig the entire electricity system all away from
- 17:20Speaker 8: transmission wise, from generators to substations to charges. If we
- 17:24Speaker 8: just simply went to hybrid standard to hybrid typed vehicles,
- 17:28Speaker 8: we wouldn't need to totally rejig the entire electricity network,
- 17:32Speaker 8: which will cost billions of dollars.
- 17:35Speaker 4: And where is that electricity coming from. It's coming from
- 17:38Speaker 4: coal typically, so that's another debate to be had. Now
- 17:43Speaker 4: there are calls for the government to provide far greater
- 17:46Speaker 4: transparency about how tax payer money for renewable energy is
- 17:50Speaker 4: being allocated and what returns are being generated, if any.
- 17:54Speaker 4: The list of renewable subsidies is big and concludes the
- 17:58Speaker 4: small scale will Energy Scheme, Capacity Investment Scheme, the Cheaper
- 18:04Speaker 4: Homes Batteries program, et cetera, et cetera. State governments also
- 18:08Speaker 4: offer various renewable energy subsidies, mostly for rooftop solar and batteries. Leith,
- 18:15Speaker 4: how much transparency is there around these various schemes.
- 18:20Speaker 7: Almost none.
- 18:21Speaker 8: So I've counted at least ten schemes that are operating
- 18:24Speaker 8: across feder on state governments. We are spending countless billions
- 18:28Speaker 8: on this stuff. We don't even know how big the
- 18:29Speaker 8: number is because it's all hidden in opaque schemes, and
- 18:32Speaker 8: often it's off budget. So you know, economists have been
- 18:36Speaker 8: complaining that the underlining budget deficit doesn't match the headline deficit. Well,
- 18:40Speaker 8: renewable energy is one of the reasons why, because governments
- 18:42Speaker 8: are spending billions upon billions and dollars hidden in all
- 18:45Speaker 8: these different structures. And you know the reality is that
- 18:48Speaker 8: these are growing substies. They're ginormous, and we desperately need
- 18:52Speaker 8: transparency and policymakers need to stop gas lighting us and
- 18:55Speaker 8: be upfront about the true cost of this renewable energy
- 18:57Speaker 8: transition rather than trying to hide the through cost.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Now that we have the coalition backing away from net zero,
- 19:05Speaker 4: do you think there will be a little bit more scrutiny,
- 19:08Speaker 4: a little bit more debate about this issue.
- 19:10Speaker 7: I really hope so.
- 19:11Speaker 8: And I think also that the war in the Middle
- 19:13Speaker 8: East has really I think guarded people's attention towards energy security,
- 19:18Speaker 8: and I think, you know, basically a strains will be
- 19:21Speaker 8: far more amenable to us producing our own energy through
- 19:24Speaker 8: fossil fuels, like whether that's you know, drilling for more gas,
- 19:27Speaker 8: more coal, et cetera. So I sincerely hope that we
- 19:32Speaker 8: at least get some transparency on this because we are
- 19:34Speaker 8: spending countless billions of dollars on this stuff. We don't
- 19:36Speaker 8: know where all the money's going, except that we all
- 19:38Speaker 8: know we're paying more taxes. And at the same time,
- 19:40Speaker 8: our energy bills are going up because so energy is
- 19:43Speaker 8: not getting cheaper and the cost, both in direct bill
- 19:47Speaker 8: cost as well as indirectly through taxes, is only going up.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Leith van Onsolin, thank you so much for your time tonight.
- 19:56Speaker 7: Thanks Reder still to come.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Left is Losing It plus a former reality TV star
- 20:01Speaker 4: who wants to bring back the Golden Age of Los Angeles.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Mi Horowitz will have the details.
- 20:18Speaker 4: You're watching the Reader Paney Show and it's time for
- 20:21Speaker 4: Lefties Losing It and Hassan Piker, the millionaire Marxist in
- 20:27Speaker 4: citing commis to murder the rich.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Chill the murder the street, let the streets, let the
- 20:34Speaker 2: streets soak in their capitalist bloods.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Dude, the dude who said America deserved nine to eleven,
- 20:41Speaker 4: the myscrean who, despite advocating for violence and signing with terrorists,
- 20:45Speaker 4: is nevertheless adored by Democrat politicians and media outlets. Well
- 20:51Speaker 4: he's again sent some sage advice.
- 20:54Speaker 9: My Way, an Australian news broadcaster for Sky News di
- 21:00Speaker 9: Dot Australia, talking about anti American hatred demonstrated by the
- 21:07Speaker 9: American Democratic Party against the American Republican President Donald J. Trump.
- 21:14Speaker 9: What are we doing here?
- 21:17Speaker 3: Okay?
- 21:18Speaker 5: Like, lady, don't you have a dingo story to cover?
- 21:23Speaker 5: Why are you talking about Hassan Pika? It doesn't make
- 21:29Speaker 5: any sense.
- 21:30Speaker 9: Why is this lady defending the American Republican Party over
- 21:34Speaker 9: the American Democratic Party? Like, this is not a thing
- 21:36Speaker 9: for you. If anything, it's not beneficial for you to
- 21:41Speaker 9: defend Donald Trump at all. What the hell are you
- 21:46Speaker 9: talking about?
- 21:49Speaker 7: Go cover the wallabies.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Oh, Hassan Darling, It'll be a cold day in hell
- 21:54Speaker 4: before I take advice from the likes of you.
- 21:57Speaker 3: But you are right about one.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Thing beneficial for me to defend Donald Trump, given how
- 22:03Speaker 4: unhinged our own media is about the president. But I'm
- 22:06Speaker 4: not here to get plaudits from the media, political or
- 22:09Speaker 4: activist class.
- 22:10Speaker 3: No thanks.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Now, we love a public tantrum in this segment, and
- 22:15Speaker 4: this next one is courtesy of Florida State Rep.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Angie Nixon. Shock Hora.
- 22:20Speaker 4: She's a Democrat and here she's railing against democracy. This
- 22:24Speaker 4: is how she acted when Governor Ron de Sanders's new
- 22:28Speaker 4: congressional map past.
- 22:31Speaker 10: Democracy Representative Persons MOLCA has wave closed. The question now
- 22:45Speaker 10: occurs on final passage.
- 22:47Speaker 7: Of HB one D. The clerk will un lock the
- 22:50Speaker 7: machine and the members will proceed to vote. Have all
- 22:53Speaker 7: members voted? Have all members voted, The.
- 22:59Speaker 11: Clerk will the machine and announced the boat eighty three yeas,
- 23:03Speaker 11: twenty names, mister speaker.
- 23:05Speaker 7: Show the bill passes.
- 23:06Speaker 11: Read the next bill none.
- 23:08Speaker 9: I'm the dusk, mister speaker.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Oh dear, Democrats started this war and they're going to
- 23:19Speaker 4: regret that, particularly once Florida and Texas are done redistricting. Now,
- 23:24Speaker 4: we haven't checked on the ladies of the view all week.
- 23:27Speaker 4: They had a rough show overnight after former counselor to
- 23:30Speaker 4: President Trump, Elena Haber appeared as a guest. It was
- 23:34Speaker 4: five against one, but she had their measure. And bad news, ladies,
- 23:39Speaker 4: there are more indictments coming.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Why should anyone believe this pattern of targeting Trump's enemies
- 23:44Speaker 3: is about justice and not revenge.
- 23:47Speaker 12: If you think that the Russian collusion hoax, if you
- 23:50Speaker 12: think that the things that we've now seen evidence of
- 23:54Speaker 12: in this Department of Justice aren't real, I just tell
- 23:56Speaker 12: you to sit tight because.
- 23:57Speaker 11: Things are coming.
- 23:59Speaker 12: Because what they did was weaponized. I don't want to
- 24:01Speaker 12: hear about weaponization because the reason you all know who
- 24:03Speaker 12: I am is because of weaponization. I sat through targeting.
- 24:07Speaker 12: People say we're going to get Trump.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Let's go to New York City.
- 24:11Speaker 4: Now, lefty Heartland, there's going through some hard times. People
- 24:14Speaker 4: are fleeing due to the crime, the mismanagement, the high taxes,
- 24:18Speaker 4: cost of living. People are fleeing to states like Florida, Texas,
- 24:22Speaker 4: and Tennessee. Wonder what those states have in common. Oh yeah,
- 24:26Speaker 4: they're red Republican states. But the good folk of New
- 24:30Speaker 4: York keep voting blue. And it's even worse in New
- 24:34Speaker 4: York City. In twenty twenty four, more than eighty percent
- 24:37Speaker 4: of people in Manhattan voted for Kamala, and then New
- 24:41Speaker 4: York City made a literal communist. Mayors Zorn Mamdani calls
- 24:46Speaker 4: himself a Democrat socialist.
- 24:48Speaker 3: But he's a commie. Let's call things what they are.
- 24:51Speaker 4: He's a commie who promised all sorts of free things
- 24:54Speaker 4: to get elected. But five months into his reign and
- 24:58Speaker 4: it's panic state.
- 25:00Speaker 13: New York City faces a budget crisis of a historic magnitude.
- 25:04Speaker 13: We inherited a deficit larger than any since the Great Recession,
- 25:09Speaker 13: years of mismanagement and chronic under budgeting. We cannot close
- 25:12Speaker 13: this deficit with savings alone. We need new revenue and
- 25:16Speaker 13: we need a structural reset in our relationship with the state.
- 25:20Speaker 13: That is the only way to meet our legal obligation
- 25:23Speaker 13: to pass a balanced budget.
- 25:24Speaker 4: So we've gone from free stuff for everyone to oh no,
- 25:27Speaker 4: we've run out of money and need new revenue sources
- 25:30Speaker 4: in less than six months. As for the previous mismanagement,
- 25:34Speaker 4: While New York City has long been a blue city
- 25:37Speaker 4: run by Democrats and the locals keep electing more of them,
- 25:42Speaker 4: to another socialist mass Seattle's Katie Wilson, who thinks it's
- 25:45Speaker 4: a big joke that millionaires will flee her crime riddled,
- 25:49Speaker 4: high taxing city.
- 25:50Speaker 13: I think the claims that millionaires are going to leave
- 25:52Speaker 13: our state are like super overblown. And if you know
- 25:56Speaker 13: the ones that leave like bye, so.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Yeah, hilarious.
- 26:04Speaker 4: The people who pay pretty much all of the taxes
- 26:07Speaker 4: are leaving, and she's waiving them goodbye. One thing you
- 26:11Speaker 4: can say about socialist is they are economically illiterate. Now,
- 26:15Speaker 4: let's sad lefties.
- 26:16Speaker 3: For the week.
- 26:16Speaker 4: On a high note, a high note that has enraged
- 26:19Speaker 4: all the right people. There was a meltdown on Instagram
- 26:23Speaker 4: when rat Legend fifty cent shared this video after the
- 26:26Speaker 4: latest attempt on President Trump's life. Many men may wish
- 26:30Speaker 4: death upon him, but the President isn't going anywhere.
- 26:33Speaker 14: Believe me, because you know, it's my life and I
- 26:37Speaker 14: want to live because I want to make this country great.
- 26:39Speaker 11: That's why I want to live.
- 26:41Speaker 14: But when you're impactful, they go after you.
- 26:43Speaker 7: When you're not impactful, they leave.
- 26:44Speaker 11: You alone, which they called me.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Dog, and I can see I'm trying to.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Let's bring in one of my favorite New Yorkers now,
- 26:57Speaker 4: documentary filmmaker and commentator Horowitz. I mean, let's start with
- 27:02Speaker 4: the climate of hate, fear, and violence that led to
- 27:05Speaker 4: another assassination attempt. And I want to play you out
- 27:09Speaker 4: in the wild talking to Americans about Trump being shot?
- 27:13Speaker 11: Would you have supported the assassination of Trump?
- 27:15Speaker 7: Oh, that's an interesting question.
- 27:17Speaker 11: You would support the assassination of Trump?
- 27:23Speaker 7: Sorry, that's right.
- 27:27Speaker 5: Interesting.
- 27:28Speaker 7: I don't know. I have no idea.
- 27:29Speaker 11: Do you guys agree. I don't think I should say.
- 27:31Speaker 15: I don't care.
- 27:33Speaker 16: I think legally we probably shouldn't answer that kind of question.
- 27:36Speaker 11: Yeah, that's kind of just like dude took a shot. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:41Speaker 11: there was a little bit of like missed opportunity, Like
- 27:44Speaker 11: it was a missed opportunity.
- 27:45Speaker 14: Do you think that Trump at the end of the
- 27:47Speaker 14: day will destroy our democracy?
- 27:49Speaker 16: I mean not if they shoot his us again, I
- 27:52Speaker 16: would agree if that happened.
- 27:54Speaker 11: Would you be upset if Trump assassinated?
- 27:56Speaker 7: Would not care? And I wouldn't give a share.
- 27:58Speaker 14: Do you think our country would be better off trub was assassinated?
- 28:01Speaker 7: Sure?
- 28:01Speaker 9: Yeah, like everything he said, I basically I'm on the
- 28:04Speaker 9: same day.
- 28:05Speaker 11: Would if he was assassinated? Would you lose sleeping nights?
- 28:09Speaker 3: Wouldn't be shrem is sad?
- 28:11Speaker 2: If you asked me do I want him to suffer
- 28:14Speaker 2: in that sense, then yeah, I would not really lose
- 28:16Speaker 2: sleep over it, because he's an angry violence, white supremacist
- 28:20Speaker 2: who's been preaching anger.
- 28:21Speaker 3: And violence army.
- 28:23Speaker 4: The left has normalized political violence, and they appear oblivious
- 28:28Speaker 4: to how their guilty of the very things they accuse
- 28:32Speaker 4: their political opponents of doing.
- 28:34Speaker 14: Yeah, you know, my only regret for that video, Rita,
- 28:36Speaker 14: is that I shot it in kind of the hard
- 28:39Speaker 14: left area of New York. And the truth is I
- 28:41Speaker 14: should have tried shout that in the mainstream area, like
- 28:45Speaker 14: my neighbor the Upper West Side, where there mainstream Democrats
- 28:47Speaker 14: that would have gotten the same answers. That the problem, Yes,
- 28:52Speaker 14: of course, it's all coming from the left. Like you said,
- 28:55Speaker 14: this normalization of violence and rhetoric of violence, which is
- 29:00Speaker 14: coming from mainstream democratic lawmakers and media personalities is the problem.
- 29:05Speaker 7: Look, you have.
- 29:06Speaker 14: Mainstream democratic leaders calling Trump a Nazi over and over again.
- 29:12Speaker 14: A Nazi. Okay, I'm a Jew. Six million Jews were
- 29:16Speaker 14: put in ovens. That's how a Nazi behaves. And you're
- 29:20Speaker 14: surprised or in this kind of violence or when they're
- 29:23Speaker 14: talking about MANGIONI, I talked about it when it first happened,
- 29:25Speaker 14: I said, this is the moment where every day Democrats
- 29:29Speaker 14: supporting political violence because they had no problem with that.
- 29:32Speaker 7: Jimmy Kimmell joked about it.
- 29:34Speaker 14: They all joked about when you see the CNN elevate
- 29:37Speaker 14: a guy like Hassan Piker who supports outright terrorism, embracing
- 29:42Speaker 14: his terrorism, Okay, and when he's normalized and he's raised
- 29:46Speaker 14: on their platforms.
- 29:47Speaker 7: This is the problem that we're talking about.
- 29:49Speaker 14: Do you guys, do we not remember that after Afford Butler,
- 29:52Speaker 14: when Trump was tried to do Saturday ND the first time,
- 29:55Speaker 14: and there people are like, oh, I got a cool
- 29:57Speaker 14: down the rhetoric, including Joe Biden.
- 30:00Speaker 7: What did Joe Biden do?
- 30:01Speaker 14: The next day He's on TV saying Trump is a
- 30:04Speaker 14: threat to democracy. The next day and look, they are
- 30:09Speaker 14: trying to pivot from this right really hard.
- 30:11Speaker 7: They're trying to blame this all.
- 30:13Speaker 14: No, most of the political violence comes from the right,
- 30:16Speaker 14: where the Wall Street Journal, which, by the way, anybody
- 30:19Speaker 14: thinks the Wall Street Journal news organization, the news organization,
- 30:22Speaker 14: not the people who had the comments and the and
- 30:26Speaker 14: the op eds. The news organization is a very left
- 30:30Speaker 14: wing news organization. Okay, I know, it's part of the
- 30:33Speaker 14: family of news corps.
- 30:34Speaker 7: That's the reality.
- 30:35Speaker 14: And they had this whole article coming out trying to
- 30:38Speaker 14: say that no, no, most violence comes from white right
- 30:40Speaker 14: wing people.
- 30:41Speaker 7: And I won't go.
- 30:41Speaker 14: Into the specifics of these data and how they got
- 30:44Speaker 14: to it.
- 30:44Speaker 7: It's so ridiculous.
- 30:45Speaker 14: I went through it line by line.
- 30:48Speaker 7: It is completely false.
- 30:50Speaker 14: Look, they were saying that Josh Shapiro, the guy who
- 30:53Speaker 14: tried to kill him and his family, emmilate Joshapiro, the
- 30:56Speaker 14: Democratic governor of Pennsylvania, wasn't a left wing.
- 31:00Speaker 7: The man was saying.
- 31:01Speaker 14: Free Palestine and from the River to the Sea. That's
- 31:04Speaker 14: Republican saying that. But they said, no, he didn't take
- 31:07Speaker 14: a political position on local US politics, we can call
- 31:11Speaker 14: him a left winger. This is the level they're going
- 31:15Speaker 14: to to skew the data to try to obscure the
- 31:17Speaker 14: fact that this is coming almost primarily, almost exclusively and
- 31:21Speaker 14: definitely primarily from the left.
- 31:25Speaker 4: Well, yeah, when you take data from activist bodies who
- 31:30Speaker 4: predetermine their findings pretty much, then yeah, you're going to
- 31:33Speaker 4: get that result. But we've all see the news for
- 31:36Speaker 4: the last decade, and that has just been incident after
- 31:39Speaker 4: incident and no matter how you try to dress it up,
- 31:42Speaker 4: this is a left wing issue. This is not a
- 31:44Speaker 4: both sides issue. And the longer you pretend it is,
- 31:47Speaker 4: the longer you're avoiding dealing with it and.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Talking about hate and hysteria.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Democrat Katie Porter, she wants to be the next governor
- 31:55Speaker 4: of California. She sent an email to donors that inclin
- 32:00Speaker 4: gcluted the phrase f Trump four times. Even in the
- 32:04Speaker 4: subject line she had f Trump and she said this
- 32:08Speaker 4: army just a day after the most recent assassination attempt
- 32:12Speaker 4: on Prisident Trump.
- 32:14Speaker 3: It's pretty clear that the Democrats do not want to
- 32:17Speaker 3: turn down the temperature.
- 32:19Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, it's so funny.
- 32:20Speaker 14: I remember a Democratic operative on CNN saying, look how
- 32:24Speaker 14: deep the Democratic bench is. They referred to the people
- 32:26Speaker 14: running in the Democratic gubernatorial race for California. I was like,
- 32:31Speaker 14: Katie Porter, shows how you have a deep bitch. She
- 32:34Speaker 14: is a deeply, deeply ugly woman. And I'm not talking
- 32:38Speaker 14: about her physical appearance. Okay, this is nothing new. Look,
- 32:41Speaker 14: Gavin dus Of, the former outgoing governor, had a zipper problem.
- 32:45Speaker 14: Katie Porter as a party mouth problem. Okay, this is
- 32:47Speaker 14: nothing new. I remember there's no woman who who was
- 32:50Speaker 14: saying all this horrible, you know, f wars an evective
- 32:54Speaker 14: to her own staff. Remember she was proudly got up
- 32:57Speaker 14: with the Democratic California State can with an F Trump
- 33:01Speaker 14: sign right and repeatedly said to the donors of that
- 33:05Speaker 14: letter and other letters, remember I'm the woman with the
- 33:08Speaker 14: white placard at the convention, she was lauding herself, saying,
- 33:11Speaker 14: this is who I am.
- 33:13Speaker 7: Okay, look this came less than twenty Okay, the letter
- 33:17Speaker 7: is one thing.
- 33:18Speaker 14: This is kind of like normalized again using that kind
- 33:20Speaker 14: of language on the left. But for the letter come
- 33:22Speaker 14: out less than twenty four hours, less than twenty four
- 33:26Speaker 14: hours after another assassination attempt is the issue, and even
- 33:30Speaker 14: a bigger issue than that, going going back to that
- 33:32Speaker 14: same themous normalization. No Democrats condemned it. No one said
- 33:39Speaker 14: Katie Porter, what are you doing? Shut up? That's the problem,
- 33:44Speaker 14: Katie Porter's not the problem. It's the other Democrats that
- 33:47Speaker 14: allow for this to breathe which is the problem.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Amy.
- 33:51Speaker 4: A few minutes ago, I played a clip of your
- 33:53Speaker 4: man talking about a budget crisis, a budget crissis He said,
- 33:57Speaker 4: of his historic magnitude, how bad is the financial position
- 34:03Speaker 4: of New York City, And where's ourn Mandani gonna find
- 34:07Speaker 4: the money for all the free stuff he has promised.
- 34:10Speaker 7: It's really really bad. Okay.
- 34:13Speaker 14: It's a twelve point five billion dollar budget deficit.
- 34:18Speaker 7: Okay.
- 34:18Speaker 14: For a little context, Uh, the Ukraine military budget is
- 34:23Speaker 14: six billion, and they're holding off the entire.
- 34:26Speaker 7: Nation of Russia. Okay.
- 34:28Speaker 14: The entire budget of the country of Chad is twelve billion. Okay,
- 34:33Speaker 14: and that actually maybe I'm actually shocked that Chad spends
- 34:36Speaker 14: twelve billion on their He's actually pretty surprising.
- 34:39Speaker 7: I mean, that's not a perfect example. No, And is
- 34:42Speaker 7: it getting better? No, it's getting worse. Look, this is
- 34:45Speaker 7: all this This is all.
- 34:47Speaker 14: Because of left wing spend and left wing policies of
- 34:51Speaker 14: the prior administration and Mamdani. Yeah, of course he just
- 34:54Speaker 14: started right. The twelve forty five billion is not his problem.
- 34:57Speaker 14: But what does he do to solve this? He's spending
- 35:00Speaker 14: more money.
- 35:01Speaker 7: Okay.
- 35:01Speaker 14: We have a Rady Day fund which told us about
- 35:04Speaker 14: two billion dollars. It's there too for a rainy day.
- 35:07Speaker 14: If we have a problem, you can tap into that.
- 35:10Speaker 14: Half of it is gone spent by him, just in
- 35:12Speaker 14: the last.
- 35:13Speaker 7: Couple of months. Okay, and what he's spending.
- 35:15Speaker 14: This is the guy spending right, millions of dollars on
- 35:19Speaker 14: state owned groceries, which, by the way, is four x
- 35:23Speaker 14: what a private grocery store chain will will cost to
- 35:26Speaker 14: open up. Right, this is the guy that's spending twelve
- 35:28Speaker 14: point five million dollars on a daycase center for forty
- 35:33Speaker 14: kids with a two point five million dollar operating costs
- 35:35Speaker 14: for forty kids.
- 35:37Speaker 7: That's more than the cost of Harvard.
- 35:39Speaker 14: Okay, and his solution to all and by the way,
- 35:43Speaker 14: not to keep going plea, so much talk about here.
- 35:46Speaker 14: Three of the four major bond rating agencies are downgrading
- 35:50Speaker 14: the City of New York to negative, which is going
- 35:53Speaker 14: to increase our borrowing costs.
- 35:55Speaker 7: Creating this depth cycle we will not be.
- 35:57Speaker 14: Able to get out of. And what's the solution other
- 35:59Speaker 14: than spa more money?
- 36:01Speaker 7: Oh, why don't we drive out the.
- 36:03Speaker 14: People who are actually paying the tax in the city.
- 36:06Speaker 14: Let's do that, or let's allow more fair evaders. Do
- 36:09Speaker 14: you know that last year fifty percent of people got
- 36:13Speaker 14: on New York City buses didn't pay a dime. They
- 36:15Speaker 14: just walk right on because the city does not want
- 36:18Speaker 14: to arrest black people, because they just study that the
- 36:22Speaker 14: majority of people who evade fairs are people of color.
- 36:25Speaker 14: They don't want to arrest them. So let's allow everybody
- 36:28Speaker 14: to simply get on the New York City transit system,
- 36:31Speaker 14: which is one of the supposed to be the major
- 36:32Speaker 14: revenue drivers for the city.
- 36:34Speaker 7: That's where we're at. Sorry, I'm pissed. I'm upset.
- 36:37Speaker 14: Yes, I live in the city and they're destroying it.
- 36:39Speaker 4: I mean, let's go back across the country to LA.
- 36:42Speaker 4: There's a race to be the next mayor, and one
- 36:45Speaker 4: of the front runners is a former reality TV star
- 36:50Speaker 4: has got some Trump like qualities. He's saying that he
- 36:53Speaker 4: wants to return LA to its golden age.
- 36:57Speaker 7: This is where Mayor Vass lives.
- 36:59Speaker 14: You notice something or here where Nikkia Ramin's three million
- 37:02Speaker 14: dollar mansion sits.
- 37:03Speaker 11: They don't have to live in the mess they've created.
- 37:06Speaker 7: Where you live, This is where I live. They let
- 37:11Speaker 7: my home burn down.
- 37:12Speaker 14: I know what the consequences of failed leadership are.
- 37:15Speaker 11: That's why I'm running for mayor.
- 37:17Speaker 3: What do you think his chances are.
- 37:19Speaker 4: He's getting some high profile support. His messaging is brilliant,
- 37:25Speaker 4: his ads are very good.
- 37:27Speaker 3: He's he knows what he's doing.
- 37:29Speaker 4: There, given that he has zero experience in politics, could
- 37:33Speaker 4: he pull it off.
- 37:35Speaker 7: He could pull it off.
- 37:36Speaker 14: And by the way his ads have been, that was
- 37:38Speaker 14: a great ad. Maybe my favorite ad was he went
- 37:41Speaker 14: to the sixth Street Bridge in Los Angeles, which you
- 37:44Speaker 14: couldn't see him because it's it's pitch dark because there's
- 37:47Speaker 14: no lights there. Because Karen Bass, by the way, Loki
- 37:51Speaker 14: one of the worst, if not the worst mayor in
- 37:54Speaker 14: the entire country. It's a running gun battle for her
- 37:57Speaker 14: mom Donnie and and and the mayor of Chicago.
- 38:01Speaker 11: She is really one of the worst.
- 38:02Speaker 14: She's been there for a long time, has a tremendous
- 38:05Speaker 14: amount institutional support in the city and electoral support. But yeah,
- 38:08Speaker 14: his ad on the sixth Street Bridge, he went there
- 38:10Speaker 14: because Karen Bass said, she said, hey, if anybody wants
- 38:14Speaker 14: to go there, you can steal all the copper wiring
- 38:18Speaker 14: from the lights.
- 38:18Speaker 7: And exactly what they did.
- 38:20Speaker 14: They went and stole all the copper wiring from the
- 38:21Speaker 14: lights because they want to put up, you know.
- 38:24Speaker 7: A solar panel lighting.
- 38:25Speaker 14: Because yeah, they're not going to steal that, right, No,
- 38:28Speaker 14: it's horrific. He's got a chance because the city people
- 38:32Speaker 14: are finally, look, I know you laugh at me. I've
- 38:34Speaker 14: said it over and over again. The state of California,
- 38:36Speaker 14: it's just not lost. I know it's been lost for decades,
- 38:39Speaker 14: but it was in fact a purple to red state
- 38:42Speaker 14: when I was a kid growing up, and I want.
- 38:44Speaker 7: To believe Rita. I want to believe it can happen again.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Well that was before literally millions of immigrants went there
- 38:52Speaker 4: and the demographics changed quite dramatically. So you live in
- 38:56Speaker 4: hope that California could become purple already again. I see
- 39:00Speaker 4: it as deeply, deeply blue, but it will be fascinating
- 39:04Speaker 4: to see the outcome of the race of who's the
- 39:07Speaker 4: next mayor of La Army Horowitz always a pleasure.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Still to come.
- 39:13Speaker 4: What was the difficult question zorn Man Dani had for King?
- 39:17Speaker 4: Charles Kinsey Schofield has the details.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Welcome back.
- 39:32Speaker 4: Joining me now is host of the Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered podcast.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Kinsey Schofield.
- 39:38Speaker 4: The King is still in town and everyone has been
- 39:41Speaker 4: sharing their fun interactions with him. It seems to be
- 39:45Speaker 4: quite the comedian after say.
- 39:47Speaker 15: Indeed, you recently commented, mister President, that if it were
- 39:51Speaker 15: not for the United States, European countries would be speaking German.
- 39:56Speaker 15: Dare I say that if it wasn't for us, you'd
- 39:58Speaker 15: be speaking French.
- 40:02Speaker 3: That got a smile from the President.
- 40:04Speaker 4: Now I'm not sure if the King or Queen were
- 40:07Speaker 4: keen on Jesse Waters Humor, listen to what happened.
- 40:11Speaker 1: King had no idea who I was, and so I
- 40:13Speaker 1: said I'm on Fox and I have two shows. And
- 40:15Speaker 1: he goes, well, they must really love you here.
- 40:18Speaker 16: Yes.
- 40:19Speaker 1: And so we go down and there's the queen and
- 40:21Speaker 1: I said, well, how was the bee hive? And she goes,
- 40:23Speaker 1: it was very good, no one got stung. And then
- 40:26Speaker 1: I said, well, you know Washington, DC. You know, if
- 40:30Speaker 1: the bees don't get you, the guns will, and.
- 40:33Speaker 13: She said that yeah.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Then this woman just starts pulling me away from.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Back and the King and Queen also met Greg Guttfeld.
- 40:43Speaker 14: I predicted exactly what the conversation was. I go to Elane,
- 40:47Speaker 14: I go, you know, okay, tend to wine.
- 40:49Speaker 6: Trump looks at Charleston goes, oh.
- 40:52Speaker 14: Here got this guy's got he's great, he's got the.
- 40:54Speaker 7: Number one show late night.
- 40:56Speaker 3: You love him.
- 40:57Speaker 1: And I walk in and Trump goes, ah, there he is,
- 40:59Speaker 1: he's got the Everyone Charles like.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Who do you where is this late show that.
- 41:06Speaker 7: You talked about. I go, it's Unfox too.
- 41:08Speaker 3: I see it's on.
- 41:09Speaker 11: Very good.
- 41:12Speaker 7: No, I didn't. You don't have that kind of.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Time with him, and then I took off with Camilla Kinsey.
- 41:18Speaker 4: Good times for the royal couple. But was there any
- 41:21Speaker 4: signs of the waywood Son Harry?
- 41:25Speaker 16: No, I mean, I think one of the requirements for
- 41:28Speaker 16: engaging with the real royals this week was being employed.
- 41:32Speaker 16: But in all seriousness, my hero exource has told me
- 41:34Speaker 16: that between President Trump and the sea of journalists, two
- 41:38Speaker 16: of Harry's defined enemies, the American President and the media,
- 41:42Speaker 16: that room was Harry's idea of hol honors.
- 41:47Speaker 3: So no, Harry, incredible.
- 41:49Speaker 4: Now New York City mayors are and Mam Danny had
- 41:52Speaker 4: this to say ahead of his meeting with King Charles.
- 41:55Speaker 12: So you haven't thought about anything you might say if
- 41:57Speaker 12: you if you say hello to him and he stops
- 41:59Speaker 12: to chat.
- 42:00Speaker 13: Now, if I was to speak to the King separately
- 42:03Speaker 13: from that, I would probably encourage him to return the
- 42:06Speaker 13: Queen or diamond.
- 42:08Speaker 4: Well, Mamdanney did meet the royals. The King and Queen
- 42:12Speaker 4: visited the site of the original World Trade Center. I
- 42:14Speaker 4: met with families of those killed in the nine to
- 42:17Speaker 4: eleven attacks, Kinsey, did ma'am Danny ask his silly question.
- 42:23Speaker 16: Surprise, surprise, New York's favorite Champagne socialist is all talk.
- 42:27Speaker 16: I know the same guy would beata.
- 42:30Speaker 13: No.
- 42:30Speaker 16: King's rally was on his knees for well, a literal king.
- 42:34Speaker 16: Theopraphy on full display.
- 42:39Speaker 4: We saw that really with all the Democrats when the
- 42:43Speaker 4: King gave that speech, they were.
- 42:45Speaker 3: In raptures, jumping up to applaud.
- 42:48Speaker 4: And yeah, they are so triggered by the concept of
- 42:51Speaker 4: a king at home.
- 42:53Speaker 11: Now.
- 42:53Speaker 4: The state banquet looked amazing. Both leaders gave speeches. Visitor
- 42:58Speaker 4: Trump said King Charles agreed with him that Iran should
- 43:01Speaker 4: not have a nuclear weapon during the state banquet.
- 43:04Speaker 3: That prompted a response.
- 43:06Speaker 4: From Buckingham Pallace, who wrote in a statement, the King
- 43:09Speaker 4: is naturally mindful of his government's longstanding and well known
- 43:13Speaker 4: position on the prevention of nuclear proliferation.
- 43:17Speaker 3: Sounds like a yes to me there, Kinsey.
- 43:20Speaker 16: I totally agree with you, but I also have a
- 43:22Speaker 16: theory about this. To me, the King's speech to Congress
- 43:26Speaker 16: was political and leaned left. There were also a few
- 43:30Speaker 16: subtle swapes at the Trump administration, in my opinion, and
- 43:34Speaker 16: while this was initially written off as an unscripted comment,
- 43:38Speaker 16: I wonder if this was an intentional comment by the
- 43:42Speaker 16: President to put the King in an uncomfortable position, almost
- 43:46Speaker 16: retaliating for that congressional speech.
- 43:52Speaker 4: That's very interesting concept there, the speech.
- 43:56Speaker 3: You're right, I've been Charles. It's Charles.
- 43:59Speaker 4: So for him, that speech to me was rather measured
- 44:03Speaker 4: because we know his own politics leans heavily left put.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Some of his.
- 44:08Speaker 4: Positions on climate change and other issues are really quite radical.
- 44:15Speaker 4: So you think that was President Trump just giving him
- 44:18Speaker 4: a little whack back.
- 44:20Speaker 16: I do the way that Trump was so overly kind,
- 44:27Speaker 16: and I was jealous. I was jealous. I loved it
- 44:31Speaker 16: when he was asked about the speech. I think that
- 44:35Speaker 16: he is one of the best people when it comes
- 44:37Speaker 16: to revenge, and this was If this is intentional, I
- 44:40Speaker 16: think it was a pretty good move, forcing Charles into
- 44:45Speaker 16: this corner and that he can't worm his way out of.
- 44:48Speaker 16: You can't say no, I'm pro nuclear weapons. You can't.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Yeah, particularly the Iranian regime. Yes, I'm all for the
- 44:56Speaker 4: Iranian raging having nuclear weapons when they're threatening to wipe
- 45:00Speaker 4: out Israel and Europe. And much of America. Yeah, that
- 45:04Speaker 4: sounds like a fantastic idea. Yeah, he really did corner him.
- 45:07Speaker 4: He couldn't do anything but agree with that statement. Now,
- 45:11Speaker 4: let's talk about Pete Hegseeth, the Secretary of War. His
- 45:15Speaker 4: wife is being attacked. Can you believe this, Kinsey? She's
- 45:19Speaker 4: been attacked by the left for wearing a forty two
- 45:22Speaker 4: dollar dress to the twenty twenty six White House Correspondence.
- 45:26Speaker 4: She looks amazing. I mean, that is a beautiful looking.
- 45:29Speaker 3: Dress on her.
- 45:30Speaker 4: A self described socialist socialite named Ella Devi is among
- 45:35Speaker 4: those critical of Jennifer Hegseeth for her style choice.
- 45:41Speaker 3: I mean, are these people serious?
- 45:43Speaker 4: She's a mother of four, She's wearing an inexpensive dress.
- 45:46Speaker 4: Is that something to be attacked for? I mean, I
- 45:49Speaker 4: just don't get who they're trying to appeal to with
- 45:53Speaker 4: these attacks.
- 45:55Speaker 16: I mean, it just comes up as mean spirited. We
- 45:59Speaker 16: complain about privilege, and then we criticize a woman for
- 46:04Speaker 16: not being expensive enough. Pick a lane. She looks beautiful,
- 46:08Speaker 16: and I think most normal people watching at home probably
- 46:11Speaker 16: appreciated the accessibility.
- 46:15Speaker 4: Now let's talk about Elon mask and Rooters is obtained
- 46:19Speaker 4: an IPO filing from SpaceX that says no one can
- 46:22Speaker 4: fire Elon Musk from his role as chief executive and
- 46:26Speaker 4: chairman of the board without Elon's consent. Kinsey, after all,
- 46:31Speaker 4: it's his company and looks like it's going to remain
- 46:34Speaker 4: that way.
- 46:36Speaker 16: I mean on a gut level. I heck, yeah, every
- 46:38Speaker 16: entrepreneur would love to write that into their contracts. But
- 46:41Speaker 16: the reason Speceax can do that is because investors are
- 46:45Speaker 16: betting on Elon, not just the business. That kind of
- 46:49Speaker 16: control only works when your name is the asset.
- 46:54Speaker 4: Now, Zoe Kravitz, page six is reporting that the actress
- 47:00Speaker 4: and pop superstar Harry Styles are engaged.
- 47:04Speaker 3: These are two people.
- 47:05Speaker 4: I do not give a stuff about Kinsey, but I
- 47:07Speaker 4: know the audience out there cares.
- 47:09Speaker 3: So what more can you tell me?
- 47:11Speaker 16: Well, I can tell you that I'm not handling this. Well,
- 47:14Speaker 16: you know, I am curious.
- 47:16Speaker 3: You're not one of those.
- 47:18Speaker 7: I'm one of them.
- 47:19Speaker 4: You're not one of those, are Kinsey? You're too smart
- 47:24Speaker 4: for this?
- 47:26Speaker 3: I know what is the appeal? He's just so mad.
- 47:32Speaker 4: I don't get the appeal women, particularly women who ordinarily
- 47:37Speaker 4: like manly men.
- 47:38Speaker 3: How do you go for Harry Styles? Honestly?
- 47:43Speaker 16: I think it's just his accent.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Other than that, I don't know.
- 47:46Speaker 16: I don't know what that's coming for.
- 47:47Speaker 17: But you will live in a world full of beautiful accents,
- 47:50Speaker 17: so you bubbah. We cannot relate, But I would love
- 47:54Speaker 17: to be on the wall because Zoe is bust friends
- 47:58Speaker 17: with Taylor Swift Styles Taylor Swebt's ex boyfriend. So we'll
- 48:04Speaker 17: have to wait and see if they officially confirm this.
- 48:06Speaker 17: She has been seen with a huge rock on that
- 48:08Speaker 17: finger and they've been dating for a little while, so
- 48:12Speaker 17: only time will tell. But how many of these relationships
- 48:16Speaker 17: actually work.
- 48:16Speaker 4: Out in the long run, Well, it seems to be
- 48:20Speaker 4: different in the celebrity world and normal human interactions. You
- 48:24Speaker 4: probably wouldn't be dating your friend's ex. But then we've
- 48:29Speaker 4: got the Karashians and you've got Kim Karashian right now
- 48:32Speaker 4: with Lewis Hamilton, who dated one of her sisters, Kinsey.
- 48:35Speaker 4: I mean, it seems to just be different rules in
- 48:38Speaker 4: that world.
- 48:40Speaker 16: Well, you know, President Chump, it's all King Charles that
- 48:43Speaker 16: his mother had a crush on him, and we just
- 48:45Speaker 16: found out that they are like cousins fifteen times removed.
- 48:49Speaker 16: So incest is like in right now you.
- 48:51Speaker 4: Know, yes, yes, well here, yeah, okay, let's set about
- 48:57Speaker 4: this the better. Before you go, just quickly tell me
- 49:01Speaker 4: about this documentary that Elliott Page formerly Ellen is involved in.
- 49:07Speaker 16: This is really weird. So Elliott Page is co producing this.
- 49:13Speaker 16: It's a film called Second Nature and it's Page. Page
- 49:18Speaker 16: basically has said that he feels compelled to share this
- 49:22Speaker 16: information with the world to help children. And it's same
- 49:26Speaker 16: about same sex relationships and gender fluidity in the animal world.
- 49:31Speaker 16: This is so uncomfortable to normal people because why do
- 49:36Speaker 16: younger children need access to this kind of information.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Yes, let's confuse the children. Let's confuse the children even more.
- 49:46Speaker 4: Kinsy kinsey, we've run out of time, Thank you so much.
- 49:49Speaker 3: Don't go anywhere. News Night is up next.
