- 0:22SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you, Johnny and Jeff.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: What a great time to be in the studio at the first show of 2025.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: Unbelievable.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: It's a new year.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: How's it going, Steve?
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: It's going great.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: Did you is that my first time of saying how's it going for 2025?
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: That is it's different.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: It's got a 2025 sort of spin to it.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: I, you know, it's nice, it's daring, it's racy, it's it's it's out there.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: It's good, it's good.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: And it's you, yes.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Did you have a good new year's?
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: I did.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: We didn't really do too much.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: Actually, on New Year's Day, we went to Las Vegas.
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: My wife, my daughter, and two seven-year-old grandkids came with us, and it was to celebrate my birthday, and it was wonderful.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: That's a bold move.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: That's gutsy.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: Uh, a lot of people wouldn't take their grandkids to to Vegas, you know.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: Kudos to you, man.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: That's great.
- 1:10SPEAKER_02: I didn't take my grandkids, I just took two grandkids.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Oh, they were grandkids, they weren't your grandkids.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Oh, I oh, I get it now.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: We had a great time.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: In fact, one of them, I think her name was Penelope.
- 1:23SPEAKER_02: She won like 500 bucks on the craps table.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: So it was it was great.
- 1:28SPEAKER_02: I mean, she kind of paid for herself.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 1:30SPEAKER_02: But it was also great to give back to the community, you know, to give these kids something that they normally wouldn't have, which is, you know, probably a gambling addiction.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: Oh, you're you're a giver, Jeff.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: I mean, yes, you know, we've we oh we've talked about that many times.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Yes, you're a giver.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: What about you, Steve?
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: What did you do?
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: You know, it was kind of a quiet New Year's Eve.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: Uh just kind of stayed home, and my mom and Johnny came over, and they brought, of course, little Stevie.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: And little Stevie, oh boy, cute little kid, but oh man, I'll tell you, she gives new meaning to the term bottle baby.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: I mean, she can just that girl drinks for her age.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Boy, she's really she can really pack it away.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, I knew she was drinking out of a bottle, but I didn't know it was it was a bottle of pop off.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: They grow up so fast.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she's a riot.
- 2:13SPEAKER_02: You know, I think she takes after her father, her or you know, my faux father.
- 2:17SPEAKER_02: He would start drinking New Year's Eve and then he would drink all the way through to Yom Kippur.
- 2:22SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 2:23SPEAKER_02: So yeah, that's why they call it die holidays, I guess, because he was always high.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Well, he had to get high to sober up.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: No, I get it.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: That makes sense.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, totally.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: Makes sense.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Makes sense.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, it's a new year, 2025.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: Wow, the world is just moving so fast.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: It just uh just a few days ago it was 2024, and now look, it's a whole new year.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna miss 2024.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: I know there are a lot of people that will not miss 2024, but I tell you, one thing that I'll miss about it is being a year younger, just like how I missed 1995 or you know, 1967 for that matter.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: I mean, what about you?
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I agree.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: You know, overall, I think it was a it was a pretty good year, maybe not the best year that I've ever had, but it was a good one.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: More than ever, it depends on on who you are as to whether you enjoyed the year or whether it was a great year.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: You know, if you're a billionaire, you enjoy every year, and for everyone else, you know, maybe not so much.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: Well, I'll tell you, Jeff, if billionaires thought the last year was good, they are stoked for 2025.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: And you know, frankly, I am too.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: I have a sense that things are gonna go in a direction that's gonna be good, you know.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: And I mean, who better to look out for working stiffs like us than billionaires who don't care about working stiffs like us?
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: I mean, who who better to take our future into their hands?
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: One thing that people do on New Year's is they make these New Year's resolutions.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: Talked about New Year's resolutions we've made on previous New Year's shows.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: Did you did you make any New Year's resolutions?
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: I did, and thinking back, I feel bad because I don't really remember you know what resolutions I promised, whether any of them came true.
- 4:01SPEAKER_02: What about you?
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: I have no idea what my resolutions were from previous years, but you know, I I'm feeling good about my 2025 resolutions.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: Uh you know, tell me what your say your top three are.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: First of all, I think this is the theme I had in past years is about self-improvement.
- 4:19SPEAKER_02: Does that sound familiar to you?
- 4:20SPEAKER_02: It does to be better, giving back to others, but just being a better person.
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: So to begin with, the first thing I'd like to do is to be taller.
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: And I'm gonna work really hard on that.
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: It's it's a tall task for sure, but it's something that I think I can attain.
- 4:36SPEAKER_02: And being tall is really important because people respect you more if you're taller.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: And you know, Steve, I mean, you're you're a tall guy, you know.
- 4:44SPEAKER_02: Uh chicks like the tall guys.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: You know, I've heard that, yeah.
- 4:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and then finally I'll get a chance to go on some of those roller coasters that put height restrictions on.
- 4:54SPEAKER_02: So I don't want to be dramatic, I don't want to be you know seven foot, but I'm thinking maybe adding six inches seems to be about right.
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: I know Kathy was enthusiastic about me adding six inches.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so you're saying Kathy is is looking for six inches.
- 5:09SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's what she's saying.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: I think that's a great goal.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: What other resolutions are you making for 2025?
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: Well, this one is completely selfless and uh quite ambitious.
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: So yes, I think I'm going to try to end the Gaza and Ukraine wars.
- 5:26SPEAKER_02: That that's my goal.
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: Hey, you gotta set big goals.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, I have a feeling that little Russia, well, country currently known as Ukraine, gonna kind of take care of itself when certain things happen.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: But Gaza Because of me, because of me.
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: Well, because of you.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: Uh there you go.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, that Gaza thing, that might be a little harder to get done, but uh I'll tell you, Jeff.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: Anybody can do it, you can.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: Probably means no one can do it.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: But well, right, yeah.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: But anyways, that's that's actually what I was saying is if anyone can do it, you can, and you can't.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: So no one can't, right?
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: That was kind of what I was getting at.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: But so what's the what's your third resolution?
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: Well, the third one goes back to really the the base, the you know, what I believe in, which is family and loved ones, those are the most important things.
- 6:10SPEAKER_02: For 2025, I'd like to go to Palm Springs and visit Bing Crosby's old house.
- 6:16SPEAKER_02: No one represents family like Bing did.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: Uh oh, and several times over he represented family.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, no, he's he's he's perfect.
- 6:24SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 6:24SPEAKER_02: So that that's what I'm looking to do.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: What uh what about you?
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: What do you have in store for the next year?
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: You know, those are great resolutions, and I I'm just very impressed with them, and and really I hope you I hope you achieve them.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: I hope you get there.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: But you know, I I decided to make an important resolution for 2025.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: I decided that I'm not gonna make any more of these stupid resolutions.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: I'm just I'm I'm just I'm gonna give it up.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna I'm gonna quit making resolutions because I look, I I forgot them by well, I slept most of the seconds, so I probably forgot them January 3rd, the ones I made last year.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: The ones I made the year before, I don't think I even remembered when New Year's Eve came along.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: So yeah, I'm just I'm just gonna stop doing it.
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: It's funny you say that because in the past when we've done this, I was always responding to your resolutions as oh, those are really good.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: And I I think that you'll be able to attain them.
- 7:18SPEAKER_02: And I was kind of ready to answer that.
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: So now I really have no idea what to say, except that I wish I had known you were gonna do that ahead of time because mine are kind of a piece of shit, too.
- 7:28SPEAKER_02: So I don't know why I did them.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: And hey, ending ending the Ukraine and Gaza wars.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: Oh my goodness.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: Well, that one, but but sometimes I think that people set those so low, the bar so low, and ending those two wars, anyone can do that, Steve.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: So I'm you know, I I think I sort of strive for something a little bit harder.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: Well, it's like trade wars, they're easy, right?
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: They are and they're fun, you know?
- 7:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:51SPEAKER_02: Now, one thing that I was wondering is you know how we don't know what the results were of the resolutions from the past.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: Is there any way?
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: Because I know you're from the future, is there any way that we could take a glimpse into the future?
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: Maybe you can now, and tell me if I was successful in my resolutions, just give me an idea.
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: It'll help me be motivated to go forward.
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: Well, Jeff, as you know, I am from the future, and most people can't see the future, but I can.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: I've I've seen it, I've been there.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: So I can actually let you know how you did.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, I'd like to share a couple of things that could happen in the coming years.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: Kind of like you remember back in the old days when Johnny Carson on his New Year's Eve show would have that guy Criswell.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: No, well, Carnegie, but yeah, he had this guy Criswell who was like this, he'd predict the future and stuff, and he'd come on New Year's Eve and say, I predict the plague of locusts, we'll eat California.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, stuff that none of none of the shit ever happened.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: But you know, but it was fun.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: It was for laughs.
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: I mean, Carson was laughing at him while he was saying it.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: It was Carson laughing at him, but you know, I'd kind of be like our like our own Criswell.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: I'd like to maybe give you some idea of what's gonna happen in the coming year.
- 9:06SPEAKER_02: I think that's a great idea.
- 9:07SPEAKER_02: And now I'm second thought, I'm thinking maybe we shouldn't talk about my resolutions because what if you tell me that I'm not gonna be able to attain them?
- 9:15SPEAKER_02: Then I won't even try.
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: Or if you tell me I'm gonna it'll be a sure thing, then maybe I won't try hard enough to make it happen.
- 9:22SPEAKER_02: So why don't we talk about other things that uh you see in the future that you think or that you know will be coming ahead of us?
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: You know, Jeff, I think you're right, but I could just say one thing about your resolutions.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: Don't lose that methadone prescription that I I gave you for Christmas.
- 9:39SPEAKER_01: You're you're gonna want to fill that probably about August.
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: I'm yeah, I left that.
- 9:43SPEAKER_02: That was my fourth resolution, which was you know, to lose weight and to get off um, you know, the hard drugs.
- 9:50SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I'm glad you're letting me know about that.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: So uh check that off my list.
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: Well, you know what I mean, Steve.
- 9:57SPEAKER_01: You know what?
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: Let's let's start with some fun things are gonna happen in 2025.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: 2025, you know, a lot of people are afraid of 2025, but there's gonna be some cool fun things happening in 2025.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: Let me just tell you, there'll be a lot of new TV shows next year, or this year.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: Actually, this year now, I can't see us to say next year.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: By the end of the year, 2025 is gonna be known as the game show year.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: There are gonna be so many new game shows, and the highlight of these shows is going to be the new teenage dating game hosted by none other than former congressman Matt Gates.
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: And see, and see, on this show, he's not only the host, but he's a he's the only contestant.
- 10:41SPEAKER_02: That sounds brilliant.
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: Now, do you remember the uh original dating game?
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: There are a bunch of famous people that used to be the bachelors or yeah, the Hillside Strangler was on there.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, no, it's oh yeah, or Nightstalker, I guess.
- 10:57SPEAKER_02: Woody Allen, I think he was in the teenage version of that.
- 11:00SPEAKER_02: I think he was later teenage version of the city.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: He was in the preteen version of that, I think.
- 11:05SPEAKER_02: But yes, uh that sounds really fun.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: I always really enjoyed that show.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, and you know, balancing things out, you know.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: Well, you know how TV is TV networks when one network runs a show, like let's say, oh, this is gonna be a show where people are naked in the woods.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: Then another network says, Hey, how about they're naked in the woods and they've got a terminal illness?
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: You know, they try to they they have a like the exact same show, but then they add one thing to it.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: Well, that's right.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: Guess what?
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: Another network doing exactly the same thing.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: They're doing a senior dating game hosted by Joe Biden, because you know, he'll need a job next year.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: And it's both shows, interestingly enough, both shows, and and this networks do this all the time too, they're gonna air against each other, they're gonna air at the same time on different networks, uh, you know, three o'clock in the afternoon for both of them, because that's just in time for the kids to get home from school, and it's also time for grandpa to watch it before dinner and going to bed.
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: You may have tipped off a piece of information that's kind of a headline here.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: The show is probably gonna be running throughout the year.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: Does that mean that Joe is going to make it to the end of 2025?
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: Can I assume that?
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: I think I'd break the prime directive if I told you that, but he is going to start the show, and trust me, there are plenty of other plenty of other dinosaurs out there that could could take his place.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: Oh, please.
- 12:34SPEAKER_02: Plus they might want to do multiple shows at the same time, right?
- 12:37SPEAKER_02: Oh, they do.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: So they'll film like several weeks worth.
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: But he, you know, and they they might want to be even handed and say, bring in Mitch McConnell at some point, you know.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: What a perfect substitute.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 12:48SPEAKER_01: I mean, that could work out.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: And I don't even think Joe would notice, and vice versa.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: And vice versa, right?
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that sounds great.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: It's uh anything else you see in the future, right along the same lines of entertainment, Marvel has a couple of great new movies that are coming out that should really be a big kiss.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: Now, okay, they were filmed like five years ago, but they're finally being released because it takes a long time to spend that much money, you know what I mean?
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: So I mean yeah, it sounds easy, but no, it's really it's actually hard to spend that much money.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: But one of them is a kind of an updated Batman movie because that was set like I don't know in the 30s or something, the original Batman.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and they're realizing, hey, let's bring this into the modern day.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: So Bruce Wayne is an old guy in this one.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: And you know, of course, he didn't have any kids, but he did have a nephew.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: He had a nephew, Elon.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: Elon Wayne.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: Ah, and Elon Wayne he takes the mantle of Batman.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: You know, because Robin went off and studied dance somewhere.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: I know he's doing something else.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: But so Elon Wayne took the mantle of Batman.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: So Elon Wayne is Batman, but then he gives up crime fighting to invent the first all-electric Batmobile.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: Well, invent.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, he bought an invention that somebody else, you know, invented.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: But but but I digress.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: It becomes so popular that he produces it for everyone who can spend five hundred thousand dollars on a car.
- 14:15SPEAKER_01: That's uh a nice small intimate group.
- 14:19SPEAKER_01: And he gets so excited about that that he launches the first all-electric space rocket and space shuttle.
- 14:26SPEAKER_01: Now, of course, part of the movie, and this isn't the crime fighting part, but part of the movie controversy hits the company.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: See, the rocket's got a design flaw, it runs out of power after traveling 400 miles, and you know, space is pretty big, so 400 miles really that's not a whole lot.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: So then they have to charge it, and you know, there just aren't a ton of charging stations in space.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: There really aren't.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: But I hear that's a problem, Jeff.
- 14:50SPEAKER_02: That really is.
- 14:51SPEAKER_02: But it sounds super entertaining and original.
- 14:55SPEAKER_02: You know, there have been so many Batman movies.
- 14:58SPEAKER_02: This one sounds a little bit different.
- 15:00SPEAKER_02: It it's it sounds good.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: Show or two ago, we were just talking about how Hollywood never has any new ideas, and and look at this.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: They're taking an old idea and making it new.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: Oh my goodness, how exciting!
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: Brilliant.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: Anything else you see?
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: Yes, and this is on a little more on the serious side, but I gotta tell you, it's this never happened before.
- 15:19SPEAKER_01: But next year, we are going to completely solve the violent crime problem in in this country.
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: It's about time.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: I'm so excited.
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: And and how are they doing that?
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: It's simpler than we thought.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: When everybody gets a driver's license or they get a renewed driver's license, which actually I'm gonna have to renew mine in 2025 now that I think of it.
- 15:39SPEAKER_01: So uh I'll be a lucky recipient of this.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: Uh every new or renewed driver's license, the DMV will give everyone a free AR-15.
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: So there'll be so many good guys with guns out there.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: Uh, you won't know who's who.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's it'll be so it'll be crazy.
- 15:55SPEAKER_02: It it's a great idea.
- 15:57SPEAKER_02: The one flaw to that is it sounds like you use the word registration, and I don't think you can solve our gun problem by making people register for their weapons.
- 16:09SPEAKER_02: So I don't know.
- 16:11SPEAKER_02: I hope that doesn't happen.
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, the weapon is not registered.
- 16:13SPEAKER_01: No, it's just your your license is, but then once you renew your license or get a new license, they say, okay, help yourself to one on they've got this big pile outside and on the sidewalk.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: Help yourself to one.
- 16:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's yeah, it's okay.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: So that's so they won't know which one you pick.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: No, oh no, those aren't registered.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: Okay, good.
- 16:33SPEAKER_02: Perfect.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: Well, you're on a roll, Steve.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: What what else do you see down the road?
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: Talking about eliminating big problems, we're gonna eliminate another huge global problem.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be eliminated in 2025.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: And which one is that?
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: That is climate change.
- 16:49SPEAKER_02: Can I just say one thing?
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, a lot of times politicians they get into office and they start presenting things like these small bills that don't do much.
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: What I really like is that they're going after the top ones, they're not taking the easy path.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: So you've already gotten rid of all the violence in the world, and yeah, and now you're telling me that climate change is going to be solved.
- 17:12SPEAKER_02: I'm very excited.
- 17:13SPEAKER_02: How how do they go about doing that?
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: Well, it's you know, it really comes down to power because you know, climate change is based on carbon, and carbon is created when generating power or driving cars, using power.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: So they're they decide to take that power, and instead of burning it and putting it into the air, they're going to take that power and turn it into the power of the people and the power of a dream.
- 17:39SPEAKER_01: You remember Peter Pan when they bring Tinkerbell back, you know, they have everybody clap.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: You remember?
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, I know you've seen it, right?
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: So yeah, that's kind of what they're gonna do.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: They're gonna have everybody dream and believe that climate change is fake.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: And before you know it, hey, everybody believes it, so it is.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: Kind of like January 6th, kind of like January 6th, yeah.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: Just like January 6th.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: Brilliant.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: You know, of course, we one of our big superpowers is ignoring big problems.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: And uh, along with the help of you know, magician David Copperfield, who, by the way, he's gonna be a guest on that teenage dating show too.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: I I've discovered, but perfect.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: Uh they are gonna make climate change actually disappear in 2025.
- 18:22SPEAKER_02: Excellent.
- 18:22SPEAKER_02: But now what happens if I guess maybe you're telling me this won't happen, but what happens if by chance there's a hurricane that hits Florida?
- 18:31SPEAKER_02: Are people gonna go right to that whole old line of oh, it's climate change?
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: And well, I am so glad you asked that because that's where one of our other great superpowers comes in.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: Superpower to immediately blame someone when something happens.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: Perfect.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: We'll just simply blame other countries.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: Well, of course, there's always Jewish space lasers, but you know, that's gonna wear thin.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: I predict that's gonna wear thin in 2025.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: So we'll just blame some other countries.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we could blame I don't, you know, take your pick.
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: India, China, Mexico, all the NATO countries, you know.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: I mean, they're all they're all creating these hurricanes, so yeah, what the heck?
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: We'll we'll find somebody to blame.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: Almost doesn't matter who, you know.
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: Well, it won't be uh other than it won't be us, right?
- 19:12SPEAKER_02: Sounds great.
- 19:13SPEAKER_02: I I want to keep asking you questions, but I do recall in the past you have mentioned that there is a danger in sharing too much information about the future.
- 19:22SPEAKER_02: I I forget what you called it.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's the prime directive, yes.
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: It could create that paradox where you meet yourself or where you change the world and then suddenly you don't exist because your parents never met, right?
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: So it's there's a lot of danger in that.
- 19:39SPEAKER_01: But yeah, you know, funny thing, it also works the other way.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: So sometimes when something bad is going to happen, revealing it to the public, maybe the public can avoid it, can avoid some of the consequences of it.
- 19:50SPEAKER_02: Does that really work?
- 19:51SPEAKER_02: Because it seems like people don't want to know bad news.
- 19:54SPEAKER_02: I I leave it to you, you're the guy from the future.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: But just because you see stuff on TV or whatever, it just doesn't seem like people really get it.
- 20:03SPEAKER_02: So, but maybe they don't need to get it, right?
- 20:05SPEAKER_02: You just you make the changes, the world changes, and everyone's better off for it.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's not gonna work, but we can try to be optimistic.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: Oh no, no, it's not gonna work, of course.
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: But you know, just to be safe, I'll share one more future thing.
- 20:19SPEAKER_01: This has to do with deportation.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: Again, yes, the big ones, right?
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: Uh you may recall this has been a big issue, immigration in general has been a big issue.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: Well, in the coming year, along with course those those very, very popular mass deportation actions, because oh my gosh, so many jobs will be created, you know, deporters, guardsmen, prison guards, like so many jobs will be created, but I digress.
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: In addition to that, the government's gonna take a preemptive step to make sure that it never happens again.
- 20:54SPEAKER_02: And this is the kind of forward thinking that I'm looking for here.
- 20:58SPEAKER_02: And how will they do that, Steve?
- 20:59SPEAKER_01: It's all thanks to Doggy, thanks primarily in this case to Ramaswamy, who really puzzled this out.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: It took a real brain to come up with this one.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: Let me just lay it out for you here.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: Big secret that the mainstream media doesn't want you to know is that we have a quote unquote state in this country that's called New Mexico.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: How's that for a name?
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: Oh, no, it's right there.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: It's between Colorado and Texas.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: You can't make this stuff up.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: No, no, you can't.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's it's it's just sitting right there.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: Look at a map.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's just it's sitting right there.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: And so Ramaswamy came up with this that yeah, this idea is because it's a breeding ground for you guessed it, New Mexicans, right?
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: All right, not only that, but this led state actually developed a nuclear bomb a bunch of years ago at a little place called Los Alamos in New Mexico.
- 21:57SPEAKER_02: Wasn't there a big battle in Los Alamos when everybody was slaughtered in Texas.
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: No, maybe it was the Alamo.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, that could be Alamo.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: It was, but it was it started.
- 22:13SPEAKER_01: That was that car you rented at the airport that broke down before we were even out of the airport.
- 22:17SPEAKER_02: All I know is that it really hurts.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: Oh it did.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: It did.
- 22:21SPEAKER_02: It really hurts.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: It was Aurora Avis, yes, it was.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: Well, that does send chippers down my spine just thinking about it.
- 22:29SPEAKER_01: Ramaswamy, what a brilliant mind.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: He just figured out this thing was right in front of us.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: It just in fact, just this past year, or well, year ago, year before the last year, that documentary, that absolutely factual documentary, Oppenheimer, told the whole story.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: Hey, forget about little Russia, I mean Ukraine.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: The enemy was right here.
- 22:51SPEAKER_01: It was an enemy, literally an enemy within.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: Unbelievable.
- 22:55SPEAKER_02: I think even going back further, do you remember there was something about aliens in New Mexico as well?
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: I don't know if they were illegal at that time.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: Hey, how's that for a coincidence?
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: Huh?
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: You know, yes.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: Where did the aliens go?
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there you go.
- 23:09SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 23:10SPEAKER_02: This is all these are illegal aliens that we're talking about here.
- 23:13SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: Well, and so they didn't they didn't have visas.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: Not even HB1 visas.
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: And they certainly didn't have the Einstein visa.
- 23:21SPEAKER_01: Oh, please.
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 23:23SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 23:24SPEAKER_02: Well, this is all frightening but exciting that we have real solutions to top problems.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: Anything else we do in the future that you can think of, or should we stop while we're ahead of it?
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Well, I think I I don't want to give away too much because then again the prime directive.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: But uh, let me just say that people always say it's everything's bigger in Texas.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: Well, Texas is gonna be bigger if you know what I mean.
- 23:48SPEAKER_02: I d I think I do know what you mean.
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: And uh that's not a bad solution to any problem to make Texas bigger.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: Who wouldn't want Greg Abbott as a governor?
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: Oh, please.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: I mean, my goodness.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: He's such a good man.
- 24:00SPEAKER_01: What a wonderful governor.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: I think unfortunately we're about to get kicked out of eccentric Ladyland Studios, and you know, it may be a new year, but they really haven't changed their policies one little bit, have they?
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: No, you go ten seconds over and they cut the mics, you know.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: So I'd hate for let's face it, Jeff, I'd hate for the millions of listeners to hear the mics just go dad.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: And I say, what happened?
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: Where'd they go?
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: Where'd Steve and Jeff go?
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: And that's what they sound like.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: That's what they sound like.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: They all talk like this.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: So where'd they go?
- 24:28SPEAKER_02: Yes, I think you're right.
- 24:29SPEAKER_02: We probably do need to go, but I do want to point out that when we started this episode, I was a little apprehensive about next year and this year, I guess.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah.
- 24:39SPEAKER_02: And now I just feel so good about it.
- 24:41SPEAKER_02: You know, and the best part is, Steve, you and I are gonna get to see all of that as the year unfolds.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: And and you know, Jeff, that's one of the reasons I stopped making resolutions because I figured, hey, they're gonna solve all these problems.
- 24:53SPEAKER_01: They'll tell me what to do.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: Don't need to think for myself.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: So nope.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: But you know though, Jeff, in the spirit of New Year's, I think, even though yeah, okay, New Year's was a couple days ago, but I think that we should bring some New Year's joy and New Year's gifts to the listeners.
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: So, Johnny, what do we have for our listeners for a New Year's joy?
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: Right, Steve.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: Our listeners can keep the fires burning this winter with a month's supply of hot and hotter souls on fire kimchi, now available in regular and martial law hot flavors.

- 26:38SPEAKER_00: Steve's not the only one who can predict the future.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: Steve got that from his mom.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: She's amazing.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: When I pour a glass of pop off, she says, you're gonna drink that, right?
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: Uncanny insights that women have.
