  Think about how many choices you make in a single day.
• 0:16
  Most of them feel small, almost invisible.
• 0:19
  Whether you finish what you started or put it off, whether
• 0:23
  you join in on a joke you know crosses a line or quietly walk
• 0:26
  away, whether you show up when someone is counting on you or
• 0:30
  decide it's not worth the effort.
• 0:33
  None of those moments feel dramatic.
• 0:35
  But together they are shaping who you're becoming.
• 0:38
  Proverbs chapter 10, verse 23 says doing wrong is like a joke
• 0:43
  to a fool, but wisdom is pleasure to a man of
• 0:45
  understanding. That verse exposes something
• 0:48
  deep. When sin feels funny, casual, or
• 0:52
  harmless, it's a warning sign. Wisdom doesn't find joy in
• 0:55
  cutting corners or laughing at what hurts others.
• 0:59
  Wisdom finds pleasure in choosing what's right even when
• 1:02
  no one is applauding. A few verses later, Proverbs
• 1:06
  chapter 10, verse 26 gives us a picture we can almost feel.

  It says a sluggard is like vinegar to the teeth and smoke
• 1:14
  to the eyes to those who depend on them.
• 1:16
  In other words, unreliability frustrates people.
• 1:20
  Laziness doesn't stay personal. It affects families, teams,
• 1:24
  friendships, and trust. Our choices don't live in
• 1:27
  isolation, they ripple outward. Then Acts chapter 15 brings us
• 1:32
  into a moment where the early church had to make a huge
• 1:35
  decision. New believers were coming to
• 1:37
  faith people who didn't look like them or follow all their
• 1:41
  traditions. The question was simple but
• 1:44
  loaded. Would they burden people with
• 1:46
  rules or would they lead with grace?
• 1:49
  Peter stands up and says in Acts chapter 15, verse 11, We believe
• 1:54
  that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus,
• 1:56
  just as they will. That decision changed
• 1:59
  everything. The church chose wisdom over
• 2:02
  pride, grace over control, unity over division.
• 2:07
  And because of that choice, the gospel spread farther and faster
• 2:10
  than anyone could have imagined. Here's the connection for us.
• 2:14
  Wise choices aren't always the loudest or easiest ones.
• 2:18
  They're often quiet, consistent decisions to do what honors God
• 2:22
  and serves others well. Choosing integrity when sin is
• 2:26
  treated like a joke. Choosing dependability when it
• 2:29
  would be easier to drift. Choosing grace when judgment
• 2:32
  feels more natural. You may not see the impact of
• 2:36
  today's decisions right away, but over time they shape your
• 2:39
  character, your witness, and your future.
• 2:41
  Wisdom builds trust. Faithfulness opens doors.
• 2:46
  Grace reflects the heart of Jesus to a watching world.
• 2:49
  Your life is telling a story, one choice at a time.
• 2:53
  And when your decisions are guided by wisdom and grace, that
• 2:56
  story has the power to point people to Jesus and leave a
• 2:59
  lasting impact far beyond what you can see.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for
• 3:06
  reminding me that even my smallest choices matter to you.
• 3:09
  Help me not to treat sin lightly, but to find joy in
• 3:12
  walking in wisdom. Teach me to be dependable,
• 3:16
  thoughtful, and faithful in the things you've entrusted to me.
• 3:19
  Fill my heart with the grace of Jesus so my decisions reflect
• 3:23
  your love and truth. I want my life to leave a
• 3:26
  lasting impact that brings you glory in Jesus name, Amen.

  our beloved Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their lives

  We have sent, therefore Judas and Selas, who themselves will

  also tell you the same things by word of mouth.

  For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay no

  greater burden on you than these necessary things, that you

  abstain from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from
• 8:39
  things strangled, and from sexual immorality, from which,

  if you keep yourselves, it will be well with you.

  Farewell. So when they were sent off, they

  came to Antioch. Having gathered the multitude

  together, they delivered the letter.

  When they had read it, they rejoiced over the encouragement.

  Judas and Selas also being prophets themselves, encouraged

  the brothers with many words and strengthen them.

  After they had spent some time there, they were dismissed in

  out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of God.

  He went through Syria and Silesia, strengthening the
• 9:49
