- 0:12Speaker 1: Your locks in to off the bench control the live
- 0:19Speaker 1: from the Raising Kine studio. Here's Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:39Speaker 5: You yeah, yeah, yeah, Yo, here we go.
- 0:48Speaker 6: Bring it.
- 0:51Speaker 5: You tummy because I could button because I could the
- 0:59Speaker 5: button works.
- 1:00Speaker 6: Hey, good morning. Hello.
- 1:02Speaker 5: How are we doing living? You've been in here prepping
- 1:06Speaker 5: a lot. You're you want to test to see who's
- 1:12Speaker 5: more preps?
- 1:13Speaker 7: No, okay, depends on the topic. Asking about the World
- 1:19Speaker 7: Baseball Classic? What's got you?
- 1:21Speaker 5: B I got you to watched all of it last night.
- 1:24Speaker 5: We're gonna have a comeback. Brice Harper was going to
- 1:27Speaker 5: tie it up when it was eight to five?
- 1:31Speaker 6: Watch that too? How p I P? It's p I
- 1:37Speaker 6: P picture picture young that we remember that p P.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Oh my god, I don't know the button ever works,
- 1:46Speaker 5: but bottom right ahead.
- 1:47Speaker 8: And then you got that that that new TV, that
- 1:50Speaker 8: new edition that you could change it to which corner
- 1:52Speaker 8: you wanted to see.
- 1:53Speaker 5: It was basically the quad box for the quad box,
- 1:57Speaker 5: but you can only have two awesome.
- 2:01Speaker 6: It was like we were you have four now so
- 2:05Speaker 6: that we're Michael J.
- 2:06Speaker 7: Fox not impressed by.
- 2:08Speaker 6: You would have been? You definitely would have been.
- 2:12Speaker 5: That was a great night of baseball, and unfortunately Team
- 2:14Speaker 5: USA didn't, you know, finish it.
- 2:16Speaker 6: But I know I felt like they were going to.
- 2:19Speaker 6: We did get Bryce Harper.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Off that teams that I hadn't seen him touch a
- 2:24Speaker 5: ball yet.
- 2:24Speaker 7: Execute him. You can't if you can't represent your country gone.
- 2:29Speaker 6: I really am questioning if he loves America. I really
- 2:32Speaker 6: didn't think he's gonna tie it up like it. I
- 2:34Speaker 6: really ship.
- 2:36Speaker 8: At least they were judged. Then he came up at
- 2:38Speaker 8: the end struck out. I think I was throwing some
- 2:41Speaker 8: nasty stuff. Can be, Bobby, How.
- 2:46Speaker 6: Do you lose to Italy?
- 2:49Speaker 5: I mean like their rosters American players with Italian here.
- 2:55Speaker 8: Yeah, so like obviously a lot of a lot of
- 2:57Speaker 8: rules happening. It wins USA is in. I guess he's
- 3:02Speaker 8: on the mounds on the mount Italy.
- 3:13Speaker 6: I so praddy right now? Thank you? You know that?
- 3:17Speaker 6: Uh yeah, LB, it doesn't matter place. Come on, come on, hold.
- 3:23Speaker 7: On, I wanted this for you so bad.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Think about it.
- 3:25Speaker 7: It's okay.
- 3:25Speaker 6: I told you.
- 3:29Speaker 5: See how the team that I like I can't stand
- 3:31Speaker 5: more than any team.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Phillies.
- 3:34Speaker 7: Yep, I'm so I could not be prouder of you
- 3:40Speaker 7: right now.
- 3:41Speaker 8: Yes, maybe I might not be caught up on LSU
- 3:44Speaker 8: baseball just yet in my early baseball fandom career.
- 3:47Speaker 9: Yeah no, but you know that former Tiger Aaron Nola
- 3:51Speaker 9: is not only on the mound for Italy in the
- 3:54Speaker 9: World Baseball Classic, but you also know that he plays
- 3:57Speaker 9: for the Phillies.
- 3:58Speaker 7: So that's good enough for me.
- 4:00Speaker 6: We're making it. We're getting there. It's baby steps.
- 4:04Speaker 8: And this whole like patriotic situation has really helped like
- 4:09Speaker 8: ignite the baseball thing. LSU losing almost a lot most
- 4:12Speaker 8: of the games has not ignited the fandom yet, right,
- 4:16Speaker 8: but the USA patriotism thing that's kind of ignited it is.
- 4:21Speaker 10: That's gonna do it for you like Olympic hockey did
- 4:24Speaker 10: for a lot of people.
- 4:25Speaker 6: Yes exactly. People were like, wait a minute, this is hockey.
- 4:28Speaker 8: That's pretty pretty nice little sport, pretty nice little sport,
- 4:32Speaker 8: pretty fun to watch.
- 4:33Speaker 7: You're like, oh, this is baseball.
- 4:35Speaker 8: Baseball thing. It's kind of like people got woke up to,
- 4:37Speaker 8: like Paul Skans a lot of people got introduced to
- 4:40Speaker 8: Paul Skins. Obviously they've heard his name, they've never witnessed
- 4:44Speaker 8: him pitch, because yeah, he plays for the Pirates. People
- 4:48Speaker 8: were on from coast to coast were like, wow, he's
- 4:50Speaker 8: actually yeah, pretty good stuff.
- 4:51Speaker 6: I think.
- 4:52Speaker 10: They're like, why aren't more of his games on TV?
- 4:54Speaker 10: And then people were like, well, you have to understand
- 4:56Speaker 10: he plays for the Pirates.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Why does he have a losing record every year with
- 5:00Speaker 5: the best era in baseball?
- 5:02Speaker 6: C Young, what's going on there?
- 5:05Speaker 11: It only gives up a run of game. Where are
- 5:08Speaker 11: they losing?
- 5:09Speaker 9: The only reason I know anything about the Pirates is
- 5:11Speaker 9: because Paul Skins is on that team.
- 5:15Speaker 6: M hmm, Well, let's go Italy or go to Mexico.
- 5:22Speaker 9: Only if they win by more than five runs or
- 5:24Speaker 9: four runs. If they win by less than four or
- 5:28Speaker 9: less four or less, USA is out because of the
- 5:31Speaker 9: type breaker.
- 5:32Speaker 8: So Mexico, if you're gonna win, like, let's get let's
- 5:37Speaker 8: get the bats hot, let's.
- 5:38Speaker 11: Let's go get a little nine nothing victory.
- 5:40Speaker 8: So yeah, there's gonna be a three there'd be a
- 5:42Speaker 8: three way tie, and between those three teams it's cumulative
- 5:46Speaker 8: score given, So between those three, not the whole pool,
- 5:50Speaker 8: just between those games, and then it's divided by the
- 5:53Speaker 8: number of defensive outs as well. Yeah, so USA holds
- 5:57Speaker 8: advantage there because yeah carry the one being.
- 6:07Speaker 6: Kind of a weird tiebreaker rule. Huh. Yeah, stuff like
- 6:10Speaker 6: that happens.
- 6:11Speaker 8: My team America's manager has done pretty good job knowing
- 6:15Speaker 8: the rules.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Mark the rules, did not know the rules at all,
- 6:22Speaker 5: didn't know that they had their ticket. I'm pretty sure
- 6:27Speaker 5: Mark de Rosa is an ivy leaguer too.
- 6:30Speaker 6: What's gonna happen? He didn't know the rules, which is
- 6:33Speaker 6: a like absolutely absurd. Yeah, he went to pen He's
- 6:39Speaker 6: an he's been in books too much. He and worried
- 6:41Speaker 6: about sports. Yeah, here's my thing.
- 6:45Speaker 5: You got.
- 6:46Speaker 8: You got all these highest play player players in the
- 6:49Speaker 8: Major League Baseball all coming together for this team and
- 6:52Speaker 8: like seemingly giving everything they got, like playing they're absolute
- 6:59Speaker 8: hey l off right and like buying in and being excited,
- 7:04Speaker 8: which is like kind of the kind of the question
- 7:06Speaker 8: Mark you have and things like this that their their
- 7:08Speaker 8: teams are in spring training, they're getting ready for a long,
- 7:10Speaker 8: long season, Like there is buying from the best players,
- 7:14Speaker 8: like you get the like the coaching to match as well.
- 7:19Speaker 10: It's gonna be really funny if, like, so they win
- 7:22Speaker 10: by less than four US is out. He shows up
- 7:25Speaker 10: for practice the next day, nobody's there. He's like, guys, like,
- 7:28Speaker 10: where in the quarter? Where's everybody out?
- 7:30Speaker 6: Yeah? Well, his roster decisions. Let you know that he
- 7:36Speaker 6: thought they were good.
- 7:38Speaker 5: Yeah, yes, that's what he's said. He said it too.
- 7:40Speaker 5: He's like, I'm gonna get some guys on the field,
- 7:41Speaker 5: like he said it before. I mean, you can even
- 7:43Speaker 5: tell the like before the uh, he's like in Italy's
- 7:48Speaker 5: got some Jimmies and Joe's or what's going on here?
- 7:53Speaker 6: He's like, guys, it's okay, we clinched. We clinched. It's
- 7:55Speaker 6: not a big deal.
- 7:57Speaker 8: Anyway, they got they're their bats were called not Bobby
- 8:01Speaker 8: w Junior though he's been on a he's been on
- 8:05Speaker 8: base eight times, Bobby Watt because some of the times
- 8:08Speaker 8: he scored.
- 8:08Speaker 11: Eight times once. Oh wow, that's not good.
- 8:15Speaker 6: What's up for something? Is that? You said pc A. Yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 6: that's the second time I've ever heard of that.
- 8:20Speaker 7: You got this what's his name? What's his name?
- 8:27Speaker 6: He did play for the Mets at one time.
- 8:29Speaker 8: I know because I was in a card Break one time,
- 8:31Speaker 8: they're like pc A. I was like, what's that? I
- 8:36Speaker 8: know it was a human, that's what the mats. Who's
- 8:39Speaker 8: he played for now? The Chicago Cubs? Okay, and he
- 8:43Speaker 8: stands for Pete Crow Armstrong.
- 8:46Speaker 6: And he's got both those names on his back, Crow,
- 8:49Speaker 6: arm Shark Arms. But the reason for the hyphen.
- 8:53Speaker 7: Is probably his mom man dad's last name.
- 8:58Speaker 6: Ryan Williams is doing that this year. I see that
- 9:00Speaker 6: a lot, you know. That's what I'm saying.
- 9:04Speaker 7: Who hit the Grand Slam for LSU last night?
- 9:08Speaker 6: Somebody that you talked about in the open yesterday.
- 9:10Speaker 9: Oh my, I was testing him because we talked about
- 9:14Speaker 9: him this morning.
- 9:15Speaker 7: I was making sure you still knew yep, oh my.
- 9:17Speaker 6: I don't remember it.
- 9:22Speaker 7: Got to add the junior in there.
- 9:24Speaker 6: Well, yeah, it's part of his name. It was a tank.
- 9:30Speaker 6: It was Bob.
- 9:32Speaker 9: Let me see if I can find the exit velow
- 9:33Speaker 9: on that, because it was crazy.
- 9:38Speaker 6: For PCA.
- 9:39Speaker 5: His father's last name is Crow, his mother's last name
- 9:41Speaker 5: is Armstrong. Instead of choosing one, his family combined them
- 9:44Speaker 5: into you guessed it, Crow Armstrong. Pete is the son
- 9:52Speaker 5: of Matthew John Armstrong, an actor. His mother, Ashley Crow,
- 9:56Speaker 5: known for roles in TV and film. They gave him
- 9:59Speaker 5: the hyphenage name at birth, so it's not a stage
- 10:02Speaker 5: name or something. He added later, Okay, maybe like that,
- 10:08Speaker 5: Like my birth weren't together, right, but they did. You know,
- 10:10Speaker 5: they had child and you want to honor both of them.
- 10:14Speaker 6: Mm hmm. Good for him. Oh, I get it's I mean,
- 10:18Speaker 6: it's a lot of letters put on the back of
- 10:19Speaker 6: that jersey too.
- 10:21Speaker 9: The exit speed on the Grand Slam was one of
- 10:25Speaker 9: eight point five, and then Jake Brown's home run was
- 10:27Speaker 9: one of six point six.
- 10:32Speaker 6: Is the fast?
- 10:34Speaker 7: Say it's pretty fast? You'll seem underwhelmed.
- 10:37Speaker 8: Though, No, Yeah, I don't know, like I don't have
- 10:39Speaker 8: a comparison point. No, that's that's really fair.
- 10:42Speaker 6: I was. I was. I was whelmed by the home runs.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Yeah, uh, not overwhelmed by the entire performance.
- 10:49Speaker 6: No, it's not fixed.
- 10:53Speaker 9: Uh it was unwatchable until he hit the Grand Slam
- 10:59Speaker 9: for I.
- 11:01Speaker 7: Think it was the fifth.
- 11:02Speaker 8: So Grand Slams make baseball more exciting, Well, production makes way.
- 11:09Speaker 11: Why don't they just get up there and hit a
- 11:10Speaker 11: home run every time?
- 11:11Speaker 4: Then?
- 11:11Speaker 6: Yeah? Just do that? Heck are we doing? It? Was
- 11:15Speaker 6: nice to see Chris Stanfield even though the prettiest bat.
- 11:19Speaker 7: No, but I'm gonna give him a pass for It's still.
- 11:21Speaker 6: Nice to see him out there. You got him.
- 11:23Speaker 11: Yeah, he was out and left.
- 11:25Speaker 7: You have to deepen, you have the last out of
- 11:27Speaker 7: the game.
- 11:28Speaker 10: Started worrying a little bit because like, look, I get it,
- 11:30Speaker 10: coaches are vague with injuries. Chris Stanfield was not out
- 11:33Speaker 10: over a month with a bruised hand. Like, let's let's
- 11:35Speaker 10: get that out of the way right now. And the
- 11:37Speaker 10: number last year Jay said in February. I think he
- 11:41Speaker 10: actually said it on this show. You know, we expect
- 11:44Speaker 10: Gavin Guidry back any day now. And Gavin Guidry didn't
- 11:47Speaker 10: picture the whole year because he kept lingering. When I
- 11:49Speaker 10: saw Stanfield was out over a month, I was like, oh, no,
- 11:52Speaker 10: is this another like Gavin Gidry, they don't know what's
- 11:54Speaker 10: going on.
- 11:55Speaker 6: It was good to see him out there. Baseball want
- 11:59Speaker 6: to know Stanfield.
- 11:59Speaker 7: And how about santi Also Santiago Garcia.
- 12:05Speaker 5: He was really the hear of the game for Yeah,
- 12:08Speaker 5: good two and two thirds, only gives up one hit,
- 12:11Speaker 5: strikes out four, had command on the.
- 12:13Speaker 7: Mound, best outing he's had.
- 12:16Speaker 6: Didn't have any walks.
- 12:17Speaker 7: Yeah, he looked really good.
- 12:18Speaker 10: He sudden he's getting better and better every outing, because
- 12:21Speaker 10: I remember he was coming in from Oregon. Nobody's like, oh,
- 12:23Speaker 10: you got a really good reliever. He's kind of underwhelming
- 12:25Speaker 10: opening weekend. Nobody's like, okay, you know, how's this going
- 12:28Speaker 10: to work out?
- 12:28Speaker 6: He's been is Sharon in the game?
- 12:33Speaker 5: I mean they pitched the final five innings of that game,
- 12:36Speaker 5: because before that it wasn't great. Or that you were
- 12:39Speaker 5: giving up pitch, you're getting up free passes wasn't great.
- 12:43Speaker 5: I ever a grizzy did Okay, still like you won,
- 12:47Speaker 5: which is good because you've been losing.
- 12:49Speaker 6: But it still.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Yeah, Creton's probably better than the teams you've been losing to,
- 12:56Speaker 5: to be honest. Yeah, so you at least found a
- 12:59Speaker 5: way and hopefully, like if that Grand Slam can't get
- 13:02Speaker 5: you going, because like the crowd is just like, please
- 13:05Speaker 5: give us something.
- 13:06Speaker 6: Yeah did they did? They show a little juice? Yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 6: like energy afterwards. That's all.
- 13:12Speaker 8: That's what I've been laiting to see, which is very much.
- 13:14Speaker 8: I have not seen any energy, no emotion.
- 13:17Speaker 5: It's a great call, Bob. Then obviously clearly we'll play
- 13:23Speaker 5: the home run because it sounds like you didn't see it.
- 13:25Speaker 9: No, okay, he's locked in on the World Baseball class.
- 13:31Speaker 6: Let's go.
- 13:32Speaker 7: He doesn't have LSU baseball parts and has MLB carts
- 13:36Speaker 7: and like.
- 13:36Speaker 8: Look, with the daylight savings time, there is a lot
- 13:41Speaker 8: more playing outside later in the day, so children want
- 13:45Speaker 8: to be outside. I want to be throwing the baseball,
- 13:48Speaker 8: throwing the softball, jumping on the train. They want to
- 13:51Speaker 8: be doing all that stuff.
- 13:52Speaker 7: That's good.
- 13:53Speaker 5: I don't have a TV outside. It's definitely dark when
- 13:55Speaker 5: both those roam. But I get you.
- 13:56Speaker 6: We'll start at seven one dark tiugh light way after
- 13:59Speaker 6: so we got them from baseball practice and still watch both.
- 14:03Speaker 8: But I sure all right, just being just being a father,
- 14:08Speaker 8: that's all you can be best father, I can be father, husband,
- 14:12Speaker 8: business owner. We like to sit around the dinner table
- 14:15Speaker 8: with no screens on so we can communicate, talk to
- 14:19Speaker 8: each other about our days. Fantastic, and I won't they don't.
- 14:24Speaker 8: Then I'll put mama us a shirt and watched America.
- 14:30Speaker 11: To eat to the Italian to.
- 14:37Speaker 5: A team that was a tough one, A team that
- 14:39Speaker 5: drinks and espresso after they hit a home run.
- 14:43Speaker 6: That's actually kind of cool, right, I'm being honest.
- 14:49Speaker 7: Cap in the dugout.
- 14:51Speaker 6: Express is gritty.
- 14:52Speaker 5: Now, it's strong.
- 14:56Speaker 8: The cup that it goes into not the grittiest looking cup.
- 15:00Speaker 8: That's what's inside.
- 15:02Speaker 7: Pretty great.
- 15:03Speaker 10: The cup and the process of drinking it not super gritty.
- 15:07Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a strong drink for sure. Yeah, okay, a
- 15:10Speaker 6: normal cup, Yeah it'd be tiny.
- 15:14Speaker 11: Put it in a normal coffee shot shot class.
- 15:17Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, all right, we'll show you the home run.
- 15:22Speaker 6: I'm looking forward to play it.
- 15:23Speaker 5: A great call of electricity in that hit, an NFL
- 15:30Speaker 5: blockbuster trade. That's like just playing skirt about that too.

- 18:48Speaker 8: and out that first deployment thirty forty five minutes. It's
- 18:51Speaker 8: really easy, it's really comfortable, it's really fast, great people
- 18:54Speaker 8: over there, and it literally makes you feel better. Immediately,
- 18:59Speaker 8: get hydrated, get vitamize if you're feeling under the weather, perfect.
- 19:03Speaker 8: They can help you if you just want to guy,
- 19:05Speaker 8: get prepped. You get a little parade this weekend. Maybe
- 19:08Speaker 8: you want to be a little proactive with your hydration.
- 19:10Speaker 8: Awesome time to do it. Or maybe Monday after the
- 19:12Speaker 8: weekend to wake back up, get kicked back into that
- 19:15Speaker 8: work week. Man, it just make you feel better. Make
- 19:18Speaker 8: you feel better, imediately get hydrated to get vitamized. Right there,
- 19:20Speaker 8: go flow ivy.
- 19:21Speaker 6: Go flowiv dot com.
- 19:24Speaker 5: All right, So, typically to get the show started, we
- 19:27Speaker 5: would talk about an Lshue deal, a New Orleans Saint Steele. Hell,
- 19:31Speaker 5: we'd even talk Pelicans sometimes if it was worthy enough.
- 19:34Speaker 5: It hadn't been in a while, but we would.
- 19:36Speaker 6: We'd dabble.
- 19:38Speaker 5: But this story's kind of so wild, and it kind
- 19:40Speaker 5: of gives you an idea of what happened sometimes in
- 19:44Speaker 5: the NFL that I wanted to start here because the
- 19:46Speaker 5: Las Vegas Raiders announced Tuesday that the Ravens have backed
- 19:50Speaker 5: out of a trade agreement that would have sent all
- 19:53Speaker 5: pro defensive van Max Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange,
- 19:57Speaker 5: as we talked about the other day for.
- 19:59Speaker 6: Two first round picks.
- 20:02Speaker 5: Now, no details were provided, Like you didn't have like, hey,
- 20:07Speaker 5: here's the reason in the Raiders announcement. But league sources
- 20:13Speaker 5: kind of believe that the Ravens backed out because of
- 20:15Speaker 5: medical concerns that arose during a physical. And I also
- 20:20Speaker 5: bring it up because also, remember, trades are contingent on
- 20:24Speaker 5: players passing that physical. Aren't official. Just like all of
- 20:28Speaker 5: these signings that we're talking about and all the ones
- 20:31Speaker 5: that were waxing poetic about, they're not official until three
- 20:35Speaker 5: o'clock today.
- 20:37Speaker 6: Teams can back.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Out, players can back out, agents can tell a player
- 20:44Speaker 5: to back out. It's just so till today, it's just
- 20:48Speaker 5: so uncommon. This is like handshake agreement to you.
- 20:52Speaker 8: And it used like i'ven't really never heard of it
- 20:56Speaker 8: being announced and team like at least announced by teams, right,
- 21:00Speaker 8: and things don't happen. And I'm not just talking about trades.
- 21:02Speaker 8: I'm talking about agreements with free agent. It's like all
- 21:05Speaker 8: these like like just like you said from two days ago,
- 21:07Speaker 8: all this big news with the Saints son and this
- 21:09Speaker 8: and all these great moves and people saying, well they
- 21:11Speaker 8: won this day one, they won this day too. Nothing
- 21:14Speaker 8: is official until today. Everything else is handshake agreement via
- 21:19Speaker 8: text message via call whatever it is, so and people
- 21:25Speaker 8: are really comfortable spreading that information and talking about it
- 21:29Speaker 8: because it never ever happened, never happens that it doesn't
- 21:33Speaker 8: get fully go fully.
- 21:34Speaker 5: Through and Max could have failed a physical for the
- 21:37Speaker 5: Ravens and passed for another team, but it's completely changed
- 21:40Speaker 5: what his trade value is. The Raiders aren't going to
- 21:44Speaker 5: get what they got from the Ravens. Just not gonna
- 21:46Speaker 5: happen again. And it's also important and we're bringing it
- 21:49Speaker 5: up because it just kind of gives you an idea
- 21:51Speaker 5: of what can happen if this does happen. So the
- 21:53Speaker 5: Raiders get Max Crosby off the books, they think, okay,
- 21:59Speaker 5: so what do they do? Well, they go spend a
- 22:02Speaker 5: boatload of money Tyler Lindenbaum. They give him eighty one
- 22:05Speaker 5: million dollars sixty guaranteed. We talked about that way Walker
- 22:09Speaker 5: from green Bay three years forty and a half million
- 22:12Speaker 5: dollars to Kobe Dean from Philly three years, thirty six
- 22:15Speaker 5: million dollars. Quit he pay from Indy three years, forty
- 22:18Speaker 5: eight million dollars, Eric Stokes thirty million dollars, Malcolm Coots
- 22:21Speaker 5: one year, eleven million dollars. Jalen Naylor three years, thirty five.
- 22:26Speaker 8: Dollars reset the center market by nine million a year.
- 22:30Speaker 5: So now the Raiders still have cap space because they
- 22:34Speaker 5: had a ton so they can still take Max Crosby's
- 22:37Speaker 5: contract and absorb it.
- 22:41Speaker 6: They're very lucky.
- 22:42Speaker 5: But there's a lot of teams that if they just
- 22:46Speaker 5: all of a sudden got Max Crosby's contract back on
- 22:48Speaker 5: the books and they signed all these people, they had
- 22:50Speaker 5: to like, hey, see what had happened was my eyes
- 22:55Speaker 5: were bigger than my actual bank account.
- 22:59Speaker 8: First of all, let's go back to them backing out.
- 23:05Speaker 8: The message that the Ravens released was very awkward. It
- 23:11Speaker 8: was like, we are backing out of the trade deal.
- 23:14Speaker 8: It like the and it was clearly somebody wrote that
- 23:19Speaker 8: press release and they worked on it, they workshopped it,
- 23:23Speaker 8: they got it approved, and they said, we're backing out.
- 23:27Speaker 8: I don't buy the whole failed physical thing, right, I
- 23:30Speaker 8: don't buy it.
- 23:31Speaker 6: I'm with you too. Okay.
- 23:32Speaker 8: So he had a knee injury this past year and
- 23:36Speaker 8: he played two months with that knee injury. They finally
- 23:38Speaker 8: shut him down. He had a meniscus repair. Okay, so
- 23:41Speaker 8: what nobody's going to pass that physical? Two months after
- 23:45Speaker 8: a meniscus surgery. You're not going to pass that physical now.
- 23:49Speaker 8: I guess you could make the argument he wasn't as
- 23:51Speaker 8: far along in his recovery or his rehab that we'd
- 23:55Speaker 8: like to see at this point, but nobody's going to
- 23:57Speaker 8: pass that physically.
- 23:58Speaker 6: You trade him knowing that there's.
- 24:00Speaker 5: An injury there, knowing that he's an experienced player and
- 24:03Speaker 5: has been playing defensive line in the trenches in the
- 24:06Speaker 5: NFL for years and years, like you know that there
- 24:09Speaker 5: is like you can be as strict or as unstrict
- 24:12Speaker 5: as you want to in a physical So I don't
- 24:15Speaker 5: buy the whole physical thing.
- 24:18Speaker 8: So they either two things up him, and the first
- 24:23Speaker 8: one I say is probably the most likely that happened.
- 24:25Speaker 6: They just get they got cold feet.
- 24:27Speaker 8: They started saying, Okay, maybe this wasn't as good of
- 24:30Speaker 8: a deal as we first thought. They probably heard, they
- 24:33Speaker 8: probably listened off the bench, and so they obviously probably
- 24:36Speaker 8: saying that, okay, yeah, maybe we got fleeced.
- 24:38Speaker 6: A little bit.
- 24:39Speaker 8: Two first rounds is a high price. Or maybe they
- 24:41Speaker 8: started having a conversation with a Trey Hendrickson or something
- 24:44Speaker 8: and felt like they have something good and with somebody
- 24:47Speaker 8: else that are potential potential path to another pass rusher
- 24:51Speaker 8: that can fill that need for a lot less. They
- 24:54Speaker 8: got cold feet, is what happened here. It's not a
- 24:56Speaker 8: physical thing. Or maybe it was something happened with Max
- 25:00Speaker 8: Crosby that they didn't want to disclose. Maybe it was
- 25:03Speaker 8: something that they didn't like that they saw in that physical,
- 25:07Speaker 8: or something happened like off the field stuff.
- 25:10Speaker 5: I doubt it. I'm just saying what could potentially be
- 25:14Speaker 5: one of the reasonings here. But if you were going
- 25:17Speaker 5: to sit here and say it's a medical thing, he
- 25:19Speaker 5: failed a physical, he was never going.
- 25:21Speaker 6: To pass the physical, right.
- 25:23Speaker 5: And the Ravens in twenty eighteen did something very similar.
- 25:30Speaker 5: They signed a receiver Ryan Grant from Washington to like
- 25:35Speaker 5: a three year, thirty million dollar deal somewhere in that ballpark. Well,
- 25:41Speaker 5: Ryan Grant and never missed a game with Washington or
- 25:43Speaker 5: in his career, never missed the game was always there. Well, okay,
- 25:48Speaker 5: that was like on the Tuesday before the league year,
- 25:51Speaker 5: Michael Crabtree gets released and then becomes available, they fail
- 25:58Speaker 5: Ryan Grant on his physical and sign Michael Crabtree with
- 26:01Speaker 5: that money.
- 26:02Speaker 6: Yeah, that's the loophole that you can use.
- 26:04Speaker 8: But it's never you like, how many people, like people
- 26:07Speaker 8: are gonna remember this, Yeah they don't remember that, so
- 26:11Speaker 8: nice pool, But like that's the loophole you can potentially.
- 26:15Speaker 6: Use, but it's just never used. It's Bush League. Yep.
- 26:19Speaker 8: It's like saying I made a deal, I regret it
- 26:22Speaker 8: now two years now, two days after the league year
- 26:25Speaker 8: has like seemingly opened, I know you can't sign until
- 26:28Speaker 8: this afternoon. We're going to pull it back. And the
- 26:31Speaker 8: butterfly effect, the tentacles that this move is gonna have,
- 26:35Speaker 8: not just between the Raiders and the Ravens but everywhere
- 26:38Speaker 8: else is a mess, is an absolute hot mess right
- 26:44Speaker 8: now because of this decision, and it's a Bush League
- 26:47Speaker 8: move by the Ravens, they should be punished, penalized, they
- 26:51Speaker 8: should do something, should happen now they that's not gonna
- 26:55Speaker 8: it's not gonna happen because they can blame it on
- 26:56Speaker 8: medical and there's nothing anybody can say. But it's just
- 26:59Speaker 8: like if you traded for Patrick Mahomes right now, he'd
- 27:05Speaker 8: fell a physical. Yeah, if you want a guy, it's
- 27:11Speaker 8: March so he failed physical on March ninth. He fell
- 27:16Speaker 8: March tenth. It's a meniscus. He complained he wanted to the.
- 27:22Speaker 5: Raiders because they put him on IR That's why he
- 27:24Speaker 5: wanted to trade.
- 27:25Speaker 10: His agent came out last night and said everybody involved
- 27:29Speaker 10: in these negotiations and knew that Max was going to
- 27:31Speaker 10: fail the physical and knew he's going to be out
- 27:33Speaker 10: to August because everybody knew this before they trade was agreed.
- 27:37Speaker 5: Absolutely, But I tore a meniscus, had surgery and played
- 27:41Speaker 5: in the Sugar Bowl eight days later. Yeah, meniscus is
- 27:45Speaker 5: not that big.
- 27:46Speaker 6: Of an issue.
- 27:47Speaker 8: And again, this is not the Ravens saying that failed physical, right,
- 27:51Speaker 8: this is reports saying failed physical Ravens. The only announcement
- 27:55Speaker 8: they made is we've backed out. Now why it's it's
- 27:59Speaker 8: he or Bush League moved by them, or something happened
- 28:02Speaker 8: with Max Crosby on an off the field issue that
- 28:05Speaker 8: they were uncomfortable with.
- 28:07Speaker 10: You were talking about them getting cold feet. They've let
- 28:09Speaker 10: eight starters walk in free agency. Eight if you know
- 28:13Speaker 10: who they've re signed. They've resigned backup quarterback Tyler Hauntley
- 28:17Speaker 10: and guard John Simpson. That's their free agent moves. And
- 28:20Speaker 10: they've let eight starters walk out of the building.
- 28:22Speaker 8: So, like, I don't know what they're doing a lot
- 28:24Speaker 8: of them going to the Giants. Yeah, what's the common
- 28:27Speaker 8: de dominator there? From the coach that lost the locker
- 28:30Speaker 8: room last year? The players are going to New York.
- 28:38Speaker 6: Right, they've been good, they've been good for a while.
- 28:40Speaker 11: It's time for him to suck anyway.
- 28:42Speaker 6: I mean, I never want the Ravens to be good.
- 28:44Speaker 5: But completely honest with you, I've always hated the Ravens,
- 28:48Speaker 5: hated playing against them, don't like anything about them. I
- 28:51Speaker 5: liked Tarball, so like that part's gone. Now hell with them?
- 28:54Speaker 6: Oh my god, I like the Raiders fans, Like I
- 28:56Speaker 6: don't have any lost love for y'all.
- 28:58Speaker 8: But like it's a bad situation. Like you finally get
- 29:01Speaker 8: to this point where like, all right, that's just a cable.
- 29:04Speaker 8: We got this money to spend our captain a good spot,
- 29:08Speaker 8: Like we got two first rounders for Max. He didn't
- 29:11Speaker 8: want to be Like we love Max, we hate to
- 29:13Speaker 8: see him go, but like we're it's we've got to
- 29:15Speaker 8: turn the page on this thing, and we're about to. Yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 8: and then got to first rounders. We start signing some people. Yeah,
- 29:21Speaker 8: you overpaid for a cinner, but other than that, you're
- 29:24Speaker 8: bringing in you get the first pick that new head
- 29:26Speaker 8: coach oh Man, things are proably feeling fresh and feeling
- 29:29Speaker 8: clean and feeling.
- 29:30Speaker 6: Fast as a fan, Nah, not so fast.
- 29:33Speaker 8: Got to pretty much go back on all those deals
- 29:35Speaker 8: you made and keep a disgruntled defensive end and try
- 29:38Speaker 8: to find somebody that's gonna trade maybe a first round
- 29:40Speaker 8: pick now.
- 29:41Speaker 5: For him exactly. That's the thing. His trade value isn't
- 29:45Speaker 5: anywhere close now. Also, this could be a waterfall effect
- 29:50Speaker 5: because like Rashaun Geary, who like the Dallas Cowboys trading
- 29:53Speaker 5: a fourth round pick for or the Cowboys won an
- 29:56Speaker 5: Ed Dresher, now that.
- 29:58Speaker 6: They are already wont an offer, it is very similar,
- 30:02Speaker 6: very well.
- 30:02Speaker 5: So now that Max Crosby's back on the market, do
- 30:04Speaker 5: they say, hey, that trade that we have with the
- 30:07Speaker 5: aug Green Bay with that fourth rounder, we actually need
- 30:09Speaker 5: that fourth rounder to send to Vegas.
- 30:12Speaker 8: Yes, And then Dallas is like, you know that offer
- 30:14Speaker 8: we had two days ago, it's not as good anymore
- 30:17Speaker 8: because you didn't accept it at first. It's like it's
- 30:20Speaker 8: you're not dealing with a bunch of puppy dogs negotiating
- 30:22Speaker 8: out there, like they're going to be as cut throat
- 30:25Speaker 8: as they can with it.
- 30:25Speaker 5: If I'm the Dallas Cowboys, I have two first round
- 30:27Speaker 5: picks already, I say, hey, you can get the ladder,
- 30:30Speaker 5: you can get the second one.
- 30:31Speaker 6: You're not getting twelve, you can have four fourth and yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 6: we'll give you.
- 30:34Speaker 5: The second one that we have later in the first round,
- 30:37Speaker 5: and we'll throw a fourth rounder in there.
- 30:38Speaker 6: And we'll take Max.
- 30:40Speaker 5: And So the Cowboys if they walk away with Max
- 30:43Speaker 5: Crosby and Gary.
- 30:46Speaker 6: And they only gave up a first and two fourths.
- 30:48Speaker 5: Or because like the Raiders, got no power, right unless
- 30:52Speaker 5: they have multiple suitors who start bidding against each other,
- 30:56Speaker 5: they got no power because maxidn would be there.
- 30:57Speaker 6: Yeah you're already trade.
- 30:58Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah he's not. He'd play because he's Max Crosby.
- 31:02Speaker 5: He played, but it wouldn't be a great situation. He
- 31:04Speaker 5: wouldn't play all his heart.
- 31:05Speaker 6: Please tell me real quick before we take a break.
- 31:07Speaker 5: Y'all seen the photoshop of the doctor who felled Max
- 31:11Speaker 5: Crosby's physical and it Showburrow and the lab coat. I mean, like,
- 31:18Speaker 5: you are not bringing him into this division. I deal
- 31:20Speaker 5: with enough hell already, it ain't affordedly.
- 31:24Speaker 6: Not dating Jessicalba again. I don't care.
- 31:30Speaker 10: He hung out with her enough for me, props to him.
- 31:37Speaker 7: That might be the best news I've ever heard.
- 31:39Speaker 6: But he's still there.
- 31:44Speaker 9: Just anyway, I'm gonna take a couple of days off,
- 31:46Speaker 9: go to Cleveland or No, he's not in Cleveland.
- 31:48Speaker 7: Where's he at Cincinnati? Same thing?
- 31:51Speaker 6: No, Cleveland's the worst. Yeah, I've actually never been like
- 31:58Speaker 6: your Kentucky border. Take a bridge and.
- 32:02Speaker 7: Then you're in Cincinnati.
- 32:03Speaker 6: Basically they got it nice to Huh? Was that where
- 32:07Speaker 6: harmbe was?
- 32:08Speaker 9: I'm gonna go pay my respects to him too. All right,
- 32:12Speaker 9: all right, sat Maybe I need to kill another gorilla
- 32:15Speaker 9: and it'll like set us back in a good timeline.
- 32:18Speaker 6: There's a monkey in pain.
- 32:19Speaker 7: I'm not killing him. He's he's the cutest thing on earth.

- 35:51Speaker 6: feed on all bases, us on a pond.
- 35:54Speaker 7: It's usually what happens.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Yeah, Houser to the curn rips one deep to left center, feet.
- 36:00Speaker 6: Carrying, carrying.
- 36:02Speaker 3: You can pucker up and kiss that baby goodbye. What
- 36:08Speaker 3: a recovery for Omar Serna, who struck out with the
- 36:12Speaker 3: basers looming in the first and on this swing he
- 36:16Speaker 3: produces an LSU lead with a four run bomb.
- 36:21Speaker 5: Well, he definitely made sure it was on a te
- 36:24Speaker 5: and that's some omar cerner pits came in elevated and
- 36:27Speaker 5: left elevated.
- 36:28Speaker 11: How about one hundred and nine miles per hour.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Off the bat and this ball then traveled four hundred
- 36:36Speaker 3: and fifty four feet to left center.
- 36:38Speaker 6: That's how do you do that that fast? What do
- 36:43Speaker 6: you mean it's jumbo four fifty four feet.
- 36:47Speaker 11: Also a lot of times in score boards they got
- 36:49Speaker 11: it on and.
- 36:51Speaker 7: Like a stat track, you got the lasers?
- 36:53Speaker 6: Yeah? Yeah, man, they almost said Tony shashery bottom.
- 36:57Speaker 5: Yeah, do you get free Tony if you hit the bottle?
- 37:02Speaker 7: That's a great question. And I think they.
- 37:03Speaker 5: Should hit the scrambled it to.
- 37:11Speaker 7: The player that hit.
- 37:12Speaker 5: The home.
- 37:15Speaker 6: I keep wanting to say that, like.
- 37:17Speaker 7: Like no, mar yeah mm hmm.
- 37:21Speaker 6: That was pretty good.
- 37:22Speaker 7: Nice littlehip yeah, nice little hit.
- 37:25Speaker 6: Yeah. Some say he scored the most possible runs you
- 37:29Speaker 6: could with one swing.
- 37:32Speaker 7: Just a swing of the bat. He got that, he
- 37:34Speaker 7: got that strike out.
- 37:36Speaker 5: That How do you feel about the juice? About what
- 37:41Speaker 5: the grand Slam?
- 37:44Speaker 6: The juice?
- 37:45Speaker 8: That was pretty good juice. So zach Yorke coming around
- 37:48Speaker 8: means he got on base pretty good.
- 37:50Speaker 7: Okay, can we talk about zach yorg thyself?
- 37:55Speaker 6: Please? Okay, So hit a double, Hane.
- 38:02Speaker 9: Yeahman hits a double and he's like York was on
- 38:06Speaker 9: first and York is turning second.
- 38:10Speaker 7: Yeaman's like on his heels.
- 38:12Speaker 9: Yeaman's at second base before York gets to third.
- 38:15Speaker 6: I mean he's like it's Edward.
- 38:17Speaker 10: Yeaman goes to third, he passes Zach York, Yeah, passes him.
- 38:20Speaker 9: Yeah, he's like on his heels and then he gets
- 38:23Speaker 9: I don't know why Zach York thought that he could
- 38:25Speaker 9: take that base.
- 38:26Speaker 7: The ball was in front of him, he could see
- 38:27Speaker 7: what was going on.
- 38:29Speaker 10: Man just wanted to get ninety feet from home. Guys
- 38:31Speaker 10: just wanted to get there.
- 38:32Speaker 6: You're saying he's not fast. He got thrown that ball
- 38:34Speaker 6: a lot.
- 38:35Speaker 7: He's Thicky Henderson, He's not fast.
- 38:37Speaker 4: Uh.
- 38:37Speaker 10: The the third baseman like could have leaned over tight
- 38:40Speaker 10: his shoes than tagged this like he was out by
- 38:42Speaker 10: a lot, bud. He caught the ball, set it down
- 38:45Speaker 10: when God Gatorade came back tagged yeah, my high.
- 38:49Speaker 6: Come on, bro, bro, you know what their c which
- 38:54Speaker 6: is why they lost, which is why they lost. Yeah,
- 38:57Speaker 6: I didn't care if they win lose. Usually that leads
- 39:03Speaker 6: to winds. Yeah it typically, Yes, I.
- 39:07Speaker 7: Had to laugh. Whenever York. God, I had to.
- 39:11Speaker 6: He's running back to the dog. He's like, dang, he
- 39:15Speaker 6: looked after the pain or like no.
- 39:17Speaker 7: I had to like genuinely laugh at that.
- 39:19Speaker 9: That was funny that he thought he could and then
- 39:24Speaker 9: he looks at coach.
- 39:25Speaker 8: I said, the guy that hit it was a double
- 39:27Speaker 8: so he had to go to third right.
- 39:28Speaker 7: Well, I think that he saw ye and.
- 39:33Speaker 6: Left because he saw York. Yeah, they both could have
- 39:37Speaker 6: held up. It would have been that stitch. Yet I
- 39:38Speaker 6: knew that two people couldn't be on second. That's true.
- 39:41Speaker 7: That was a great question by you. Yeah, where to go?
- 39:48Speaker 7: I just had to keep this momentum going.
- 39:52Speaker 6: Better?
- 39:53Speaker 5: Yeah, going on the road in the SEC. Vanderbilt hasn't
- 39:58Speaker 5: been thriving.
- 40:00Speaker 6: There, No, they've been. They've been kind of like l
- 40:01Speaker 6: shoes not being good.
- 40:04Speaker 11: But you're still on the road in Nashville like that.
- 40:08Speaker 6: On the road in SEC is just tough. Yeah, mm hmm.
- 40:13Speaker 6: Midweek games really only matter if you win so.
- 40:16Speaker 7: Or if you're losing your weekend games.
- 40:18Speaker 5: Yeah, nothing the matter all the time. Put a uniform on,
- 40:21Speaker 5: there's a lineup card, the whole deal.
- 40:23Speaker 11: So they keep scoring.
- 40:25Speaker 5: Mid Week people people pay money to get in. I
- 40:29Speaker 5: know that wouldn't for you. That's for other people.
- 40:33Speaker 6: Not as many people though, what not as many people
- 40:38Speaker 6: pay money, so some some do. Yeah, night hearts the
- 40:43Speaker 6: real gritty fans.
- 40:48Speaker 5: Mm hm.
- 40:51Speaker 11: They keep scoring midwek to them up up?
- 40:56Speaker 6: Are you about to be Midweek doesn't matter? Yeah, oh no,
- 40:59Speaker 6: that's terrible. Take course this show. I was trying to
- 41:03Speaker 6: matters when we win.
- 41:04Speaker 7: Okay, all games matter.
- 41:06Speaker 10: I hear the hot dogs of the Concession stand fast
- 41:08Speaker 10: the same in midweek.
- 41:09Speaker 6: Lost the same two.
- 41:12Speaker 8: I'm just saying that because we've lost quite a few
- 41:14Speaker 8: games in the last couple of weeks, so I'm trying
- 41:16Speaker 8: to be positive.
- 41:17Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, all right.
- 41:19Speaker 5: Uh, when we come back, something that we talked about

- 42:48Speaker 1: Off the bench. Presented by Hoodental.
- 43:04Speaker 5: All right, welcome back in ot be here live from
- 43:07Speaker 5: the Raising Kanes studio. A move that we talked a
- 43:11Speaker 5: lot about yesterday actually did in fact happen you lose
- 43:16Speaker 5: to Mario Davis to the New York Jets. We were
- 43:19Speaker 5: looking at the free agent linebacker list. We talked about
- 43:22Speaker 5: some of the veteran players that were on it. We
- 43:24Speaker 5: talked about Bobby Wagner, We talked about Lavonte David, We
- 43:28Speaker 5: talked about a reunion with Cayden Ellis. Because you needed
- 43:32Speaker 5: somebody to have a veteran presence in the middle of
- 43:36Speaker 5: your defense. Dan Stetzman, you know, tough player. Drafting him
- 43:39Speaker 5: in fourth round certainly going to give you something. You
- 43:41Speaker 5: got Pete Warner there, but you needed something different and
- 43:44Speaker 5: they got a guy that they know very well in
- 43:46Speaker 5: Kiden Ellis to come back. He signs a thirty three
- 43:50Speaker 5: million dollar free agent contract. Now Kate Ellis can do
- 43:52Speaker 5: a lot of different things for you. He also can
- 43:55Speaker 5: get after the quarterback. He's a great rusher, shout linebacker
- 43:59Speaker 5: right in the middle of defense. Veteran guy love the move,
- 44:02Speaker 5: think it's the right move. They needed to add a guy.
- 44:05Speaker 5: They get a guy that they know very very well,
- 44:07Speaker 5: and you take him away from the Atlanta Falcons. Another
- 44:10Speaker 5: great signing by the New Orleans Saints.
- 44:14Speaker 6: I mean, yeah, you feel a position in need.
- 44:16Speaker 8: And I think, I mean, you gave a list of
- 44:19Speaker 8: linebackers that it could be, so certainly, Kate Ellis is
- 44:23Speaker 8: a one that has come on, has been a really
- 44:26Speaker 8: good player for a decent amount of time. Now four
- 44:29Speaker 8: years with the Saints, three years with the Falcons to
- 44:33Speaker 8: thirty three million dollar contract, three years twenty three million guaranteed.
- 44:38Speaker 8: And last year with the Falcons that one hundred and
- 44:39Speaker 8: seven tackles, ten tackles for a lost, three and f sacks.
- 44:41Speaker 8: Thenk you had a pick and a force fumble. Just
- 44:44Speaker 8: kind of like a lynch pin guy in the middle,
- 44:46Speaker 8: a good, good run defender, get his shutting blocks in
- 44:50Speaker 8: the at the liant.
- 44:51Speaker 5: Of scrimmage, make it a pressure rate in the NFL
- 44:54Speaker 5: last year with people who had at least one hundred
- 44:56Speaker 5: and fifty pass rush attempts and.
- 44:58Speaker 6: Was a captain.
- 44:58Speaker 8: So like, it's one of those guy that you think
- 45:00Speaker 8: can come in and certainly be a veteran leader, but
- 45:04Speaker 8: a guy that is going to And I think, Taylor,
- 45:06Speaker 8: you told me this earlier. I think in six years,
- 45:09Speaker 8: only missed six games, five games. Hows I missed the
- 45:12Speaker 8: game since twenty twenty.
- 45:13Speaker 6: Did you miss a game with the Falcons. Yeah, some
- 45:15Speaker 6: three seasons. You had three years in a row, a
- 45:17Speaker 6: seventeen games. Don't let the Saints get hot. Let them
- 45:20Speaker 6: get hot, Mickey Lomas, what are we doing? Listen to
- 45:23Speaker 6: no TV. You're doing well, You're being good at your job.
- 45:28Speaker 5: If you want our next always say that. If you
- 45:30Speaker 5: want our next move, stay tuned. We got two more hours, Mickey,
- 45:34Speaker 5: We got you right at what credits do? Full back
- 45:37Speaker 5: on the Mine. God, it's coming
- 45:40Speaker 1: Off the bench.
