A fire broke out Thursday night on Benning Road in a three-story apartment building, with flames erupting from the third floor. Thankfully, three people were safely evacuated and no one was injured—though one adult was checked out. Ten residents are now displaced, with the Red Cross and D.C. Fire providing immediate support.
