  all and stands at the very center of our lives day after

  day. Through this podcast, you'll

  Pastor Nizar Tuma, born in Nazareth and a devoted servant
• 0:38
  of faith since becoming a believer in 1985.

  He was ordained in 1990 and has spent decades in ministry,
• 0:46
  including ten years in Jerusalem and over 26 years in Nazareth.

  He's married to his wife, Katie. At home, he shares three
• 0:53
  children and two grandchildren. Today he serves as the District
• 0:57
  Superintendent of the Holy Land District.

  Hello again. Greetings in the name of Jesus.

  This is Pastor Nazar, the district Superintendent of the
• 1:07
  Church of the Nazarene in the Holy Land.

  God bless you. I'm glad to share with you
• 1:11
  what's on my heart today for this season.
• 1:14
  And I'm sharing during a very inconvenient time.
• 1:19
  We are still in war, at war with Iran, and missiles have been
• 1:24
  flying over this area. It has caused us to be in the
• 1:28
  shelter for many, many hours and the unrest of unsleep, you know,
• 1:32
  and just been in a closure most of the time.
• 1:37
  We have taken the time to be praying and interceding for the
• 1:40
  country and for our family and our church and our people all
• 1:44
  over the place. So please join us in prayer
• 1:49
  today. I want to encourage you with a
• 1:50
  few words. It's 6 keys for a successful
• 1:55
  ministry and I hope this will be useful to you as you go into
• 2:00
  your ministry and serve. The first key is humility.
• 2:05
  The second key is love. The third key is prayer.
• 2:10
  The 4th key is ministry or service if you want to call it.
• 2:15
  The fifth key is more of sacrificial life, to give as
• 2:21
  much as you can with sacrificial love. 6 is giving, and Jesus,
• 2:29
  before he went out of this world in the Gospel of John chapter
• 2:36
  13, he left us with a message saying that now before the feast
• 2:45
  of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour has come to depart
• 2:51
  out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in
• 2:57
  the world, he loved them to the end.
• 3:01
  Yes, this is Jesus. He loved us to the end.
• 3:05
  So if we are believers and we know who Jesus is, we know how
• 3:09
  he loved us. So in his humility, he left
• 3:13
  heaven and he came down to our earth in a human flesh.
• 3:19
  And that happened just across the street from where I live now
• 3:23
  in Nazareth. He walked amongst us, He lived
• 3:26
  amongst us like one of us, and he hunger, he thirst, He went
• 3:33
  through a lot of weaknesses sometimes and he slept
• 3:37
  sometimes. And that's Jesus, that's the the
• 3:41
  human Jesus. But we know that he is the
• 3:43
  incarnated God amongst us. So in his humility, he lifts his
• 3:47
  throne, he lift all the presence of the angels and, and the the
• 3:52
  worship and the great atmosphere to come and live in our land
• 3:57
  that needed him so bad, the humanity that needed him so bad.
• 4:02
  So this is expression of God's love.
• 4:05
  God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son.
• 4:09
  We cannot forgive these words because in his love he came down
• 4:13
  to us, He embraced us and he made us his family.
• 4:18
  We made us a members of his body, the church.
• 4:22
  I thank God for we are the family of God.
• 4:24
  I thank God for his love that is beyond comprehension.
• 4:29
  It's it's hard to understand this kind of love.
• 4:33
  It's unlimited love, unconditioned love.
• 4:36
  It's just hard to explain. And I thank God that our life
• 4:41
  also should be a life of prayer. Prayer is an essential key for
• 4:48
  success. We should, as believers, do
• 4:51
  nothing without prayer. We shouldn't step one step.
• 4:55
  We shouldn't make any decisions before we come and consult with
• 4:59
  God and spend time at His feet and seek His face for whatever
• 5:03
  decisions we want to make, for whatever projects are laying
• 5:07
  ahead of us. It doesn't matter.
• 5:09
  The important thing, the important thing is to be able to
• 5:13
  come sit aside a special time, times for prayer.
• 5:18
  I mean make it important. Make it your priority to pray
• 5:21
  and seek God's face. Listen to me.
• 5:24
  It's nothing to do with me personally.
• 5:27
  It's all of us that need to be on our knees to see some change.
• 5:31
  Your prayer will make the hand of God move.
• 5:34
  It will touch the heart of God when you pray and He will do
• 5:39
  whatever is in your heart. He will see the way you pray, He
• 5:43
  will see how serious you are about what you're asking for,
• 5:47
  and He will meet your needs. He will answer your prayers.
• 5:51
  He is a God who answers prayer. Remember that.
• 5:54
  Never forget that now when you leave your prayer room, you go
• 5:58
  out there and God has prepared you for a ministry to reach out
• 6:01
  to the lost, to go meet the needs of some people around you,
• 6:05
  to go to pray for someone who is in need to be a a very committed
• 6:10
  believer in the church. Do the necessary things that
• 6:13
  needs to be done. Even if you come in and you set
• 6:16
  the Bibles or you make sure there is enough water for
• 6:20
  everyone or make sure that the place is clean.
• 6:23
  You know, ministers not have to be on the pulpit.
• 6:26
  The pulpit is one part of ministry, but there's a lot to
• 6:30
  do around the church so be available to be used by God in
• 6:35
  the ministry out there. There are so many believers and
• 6:39
  non believers who are waiting for your intervention.
• 6:42
  They they need your touch, they need your encouragement, they
• 6:45
  need your prayers. So be there ready to serve and
• 6:51
  sacrifice. You see, sacrifice is something
• 6:54
  that Jesus have taught us. He sacrificed his life for us.
• 6:58
  He is our example in understanding sacrificial
• 7:02
  giving, sacrificial love, sacrificial life.
• 7:06
  Jesus did that. He is our example.
• 7:09
  So we need to take these keys and use them and make the best
• 7:13
  of them. You see, let God open our eyes
• 7:17
  to look out there and see the exact need that people are
• 7:21
  looking for. What do they need?
• 7:23
  What does our world need today but to hear the good news of the
• 7:27
  Lord Jesus Christ and his salvation.
• 7:30
  The last thing, and I'm going to be quick about this one, giving.
• 7:34
  This is the time of giving. You see, the way God gave Jesus
• 7:38
  is a great lesson to us that he gave his only begotten Son,
• 7:42
  Jesus, the one that is. I mean, I'm stuck here with
• 7:47
  words because it's hard to describe how God loved us, that
• 7:50
  he gave us Jesus to die on a cross for our salvation.
• 7:55
  We just come in appreciation and learn how to love and how to
• 7:59
  give and how to sacrifice and how to serve and how to pray and
• 8:02
  how to be humble at his presence.

  Practice them. It's, it's possible.

  Nothing is impossible with God. I can do all things through
