- 1:44Speaker 2: I don't know for sure. I just know a little
- 1:46Speaker 2: bit of the story on the front end. I don't
- 1:48Speaker 2: know what's happening on the back end. Trey, do you
- 1:52Speaker 2: have anything special to share with us today?
- 1:55Speaker 1: I do you? After what has been a pretty tough year.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You know, Daisy died, mom died, love of my life
- 2:10Speaker 1: just left. I decided I need some happiness, so I
- 2:16Speaker 1: present to you, Lily.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Oh, oh my god, is it normal for my panties
- 2:28Speaker 2: to drop? Oh my goodness? Oh, you know, Trey.
- 2:36Speaker 4: After a breakup, perk up in a week or two.
- 2:40Speaker 2: But oh my goodness, you know, Trey, after a breakup,
- 2:45Speaker 2: most people get a revenge body, not a revenge puppy.
- 2:49Speaker 5: Hey man, But that'll work.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, you got to You got you a chihuahua.
- 3:00Speaker 2: She's just hanging out down there.
- 3:02Speaker 4: She you know, I kidnapped her yesterday.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I got a boy, yeah, and I drove down to
- 3:09Speaker 1: Houston and kidnapped her.
- 3:12Speaker 4: And so she spent.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Her first four, you know, four or five hours with
- 3:18Speaker 1: me in my lap, and she peede on me, like
- 3:21Speaker 1: the first ten minutes.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It was got a girl. Yeah, it's like a girlfriend.
- 3:26Speaker 2: It's like a girlfriend never left.
- 3:32Speaker 4: But yeah, as of right now, she is enjoying the
- 3:39Speaker 4: enjoying being in my lap.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Obviously, it's been a lot of changes in her life
- 3:44Speaker 1: the last twenty four hours.
- 3:45Speaker 4: So I think this is her safe spot for now.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Good for her, it's a good spot to be.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and no, I you know, speaking of I actually
- 3:57Speaker 1: I saw my ex on day and I flipped her off.
- 4:02Speaker 4: She pulled up right.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Now, that's our boy right there.
- 4:10Speaker 2: So so so I'm guessing you've moved to the next
- 4:14Speaker 2: step of the grief process.
- 4:16Speaker 1: So you know, she will not make eye contact with me.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I have like, she will not look at me, talk
- 4:21Speaker 1: to me anything. It's like it is the damnedest thing.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's such a weird deal because you've seen her
- 4:26Speaker 2: a couple of times since she just left mysteriously and ghosted,
- 4:30Speaker 2: never came back, never heard from again. You guys live
- 4:33Speaker 2: in the same area, and then you just recently found
- 4:35Speaker 2: out she lives nearby, and you've seen her outside on
- 4:41Speaker 2: a walk before that you were on so yeah, and
- 4:46Speaker 2: you'd and and you didn't flip her off those times.
- 4:48Speaker 1: No, I've waved trying to, you know, be cordial whatever.
- 4:51Speaker 1: But no, then I howked and I flipped her off.
- 4:54Speaker 1: She she I mean, I know she had to see it,
- 4:56Speaker 1: but you shouldn't turn her head or anything. But it honestly,
- 5:00Speaker 1: it wasn't near as satisfying as I thought it would be.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Yeah, So instead I decided to register a website. Oh no,
- 5:10Speaker 4: Trey Brandy Hughes is a heartless line. Dot net dot
- 5:16Speaker 4: com has already taken. I guess somebody else has been
- 5:21Speaker 4: through this with her before.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Wow, I thought I get one of those you've seen
- 5:28Speaker 1: the billboards around, you know, like some website like I
- 5:31Speaker 1: hate so and so. I was like, maybe may find
- 5:34Speaker 1: a digital billboard just throw that up there.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Social media ads are really inexpensive track and you know what,
- 5:46Speaker 2: we could actually do the same thing because a lot
- 5:48Speaker 2: of times those billboards go to like a like a
- 5:50Speaker 2: church thing or something like it's it's it's a terrible
- 5:53Speaker 2: bait and switch. We could do the same thing. We
- 5:55Speaker 2: could run ads in various places podcast platform ms, radio
- 6:03Speaker 2: station streams that you know, UH need the revenue. Also
- 6:10Speaker 2: just social media ads that say that website and then
- 6:14Speaker 2: when people click on it.
- 6:15Speaker 3: It just goes to our show.
- 6:19Speaker 2: It's attention it is, and honest to God, I think
- 6:24Speaker 2: we've got something here. So I think we can take
- 6:26Speaker 2: your pain and turn it into the Treehouses game all
- 6:31Speaker 2: for it. Yeah, I mean, you gotta you gotta revenge, puppy.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Let's get some actual revenge on this woman. You're you're
- 6:39Speaker 2: clearly at a better place. Yeah, you got you got
- 6:45Speaker 2: a puppy. You're flipping off your X when you see
- 6:47Speaker 2: her in places, you are clearly moving through the stages
- 6:51Speaker 2: of grief of a normal level.
- 6:57Speaker 1: It is amazing because it also you know, Daisy had
- 7:01Speaker 1: been sick for the last really kind of eighteen months
- 7:04Speaker 1: of her life, where there's daily medicine and everything else.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I mean, I loved her to death, but there is
- 7:10Speaker 1: something about a puppy where you're just like, it just
- 7:12Speaker 1: makes everything better.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Yes, And you know what, I have a question that
- 7:16Speaker 2: I think already know the answer to it, but I'm
- 7:18Speaker 2: going to ask it anyway, just for verification of my theory. So,
- 7:23Speaker 2: as you were driving back from Houston and Lily, your
- 7:25Speaker 2: new puppy Pete on you because you know it's four
- 7:27Speaker 2: or five hour drive, were you even mad?
- 7:29Speaker 4: About it.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I here's the absolutely stupid and she peed on me
- 7:35Speaker 1: within the first ten minutes. And I had brought a
- 7:40Speaker 1: towel for said said reason, but I was so excited
- 7:45Speaker 1: and just happy with having her in my lap I
- 7:48Speaker 1: forgot to put said towel in my lap. So no,
- 7:52Speaker 1: I had dog pee all and you know, my front
- 7:59Speaker 1: right right front leg to my crotch. And No, I
- 8:02Speaker 1: wasn't mad about it at all. It was, yeah, just
- 8:05Speaker 1: one of those.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Things because because you're in a better place now, you.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Know, puppies can get away with just about anything.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Yes, they can.
- 8:17Speaker 2: And honest to god, it's amazing because and even if
- 8:23Speaker 2: you get upset about something that that your dog does,
- 8:26Speaker 2: it doesn't last because you know they didn't do it intentionally,
- 8:28Speaker 2: right right, they don't. They don't necessarily know any better.
- 8:32Speaker 2: They would really help if in relationships, women would understand
- 8:35Speaker 2: men the same way. Like, I'm not doing this intentionally,
- 8:40Speaker 2: it's just it's just kind of my nature. But I am. I.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I am happy for you. I'm genuinely happy for you,
- 8:49Speaker 2: trade because you really have had the year from hell.
- 8:55Speaker 3: You've had.
- 8:56Speaker 2: You know, Daisy, you know, your your baby for years
- 9:01Speaker 2: was going was going through a very difficult time for
- 9:04Speaker 2: a long time, and you along with her, your mom
- 9:07Speaker 2: was going through you know, late stage of life. You
- 9:12Speaker 2: had to deal with all of that, not just from
- 9:15Speaker 2: an emotional standpoint, you know, but going through that rite
- 9:20Speaker 2: of passage that most of us go through where it's
- 9:23Speaker 2: the death of a parent, and and this is the
- 9:26Speaker 2: death of the final parent. Right then you had and
- 9:29Speaker 2: then you had moving twice on top of it. One
- 9:33Speaker 2: one was by your choosing, the other was not because
- 9:36Speaker 2: your apartment flooded, and then you had to move back
- 9:38Speaker 2: into that's actually you moved three times. And then and
- 9:42Speaker 2: then out of the blue, the woman that you thought
- 9:44Speaker 2: was the lover of your life. And believe me, you've
- 9:46Speaker 2: looked a lot. I mean, and that's not a slam,
- 9:50Speaker 2: it's just it just comes with age. It's like if
- 9:53Speaker 2: you've never been in you know, never been married or whatever,
- 9:56Speaker 2: and you reach a certain age, you've probably been in
- 9:58Speaker 2: a number of relationships. So you thought you had the one,
- 10:01Speaker 2: and then one day you woke up and she wasn't
- 10:02Speaker 2: there anymore. So you've had a horrible year. So I'm
- 10:06Speaker 2: very very happy for you with your new relationship, Lily,
- 10:09Speaker 2: that you it was the.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Relationship thing is really the most interesting thing about it is.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I mean, I I was horrible to deal with and
- 10:18Speaker 1: when I was an alcoholic, and I in my drinking years,
- 10:23Speaker 1: and then you know you, I've matured a lot of
- 10:26Speaker 1: far more in the last ten years than I did
- 10:27Speaker 1: in the previous twenty five. And but this one, I
- 10:30Speaker 1: honestly thought I was getting right.
- 10:32Speaker 4: You know, It's like it was the first time I
- 10:35Speaker 4: ever understood.
- 10:35Speaker 1: It was like, Okay, I I can understand that.
- 10:39Speaker 4: I you get to a point You're like, I want
- 10:41Speaker 4: to spend my life with this person.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I am good, good, bad, and ugly. I am good
- 10:45Speaker 1: with you know this course, this is this is the
- 10:49Speaker 1: road I want to be on. And then all of
- 10:51Speaker 1: a sudden they you know, you're driving down the road,
- 10:54Speaker 1: they opened up a fucking car door and jump out.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Other record, that did not literally happen. It's just it's
- 11:03Speaker 2: just kind of what it felt like. Honest to god,
- 11:05Speaker 2: you would have been presented with slightly more closure had
- 11:08Speaker 2: that scenario plaid out.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I will say this, and this is uh, it sounds
- 11:16Speaker 1: weird to say, but death is easier to deal with
- 11:18Speaker 1: than what I what Brandy did to me, because you
- 11:21Speaker 1: at least know.
- 11:23Speaker 2: What happened, Yes, exactly, And that was what I was.
- 11:27Speaker 2: That's that's what I've been thinking about the last minute
- 11:30Speaker 2: or so, is all these things that have happened in
- 11:32Speaker 2: your life this year. The death of Daisy year dog,
- 11:35Speaker 2: the death of your mother. Those two things you knew
- 11:37Speaker 2: were going to happen, you just didn't know exactly when.
- 11:42Speaker 2: But you know, the death of that relationship just kind
- 11:45Speaker 2: of came out of nowhere and was completely unexpected. So
- 11:48Speaker 2: ral so there is some solace, I guess in knowing
- 11:54Speaker 2: or at least preparing for, you know, the death of
- 11:57Speaker 2: a loved one that you know is kind of it's
- 12:00Speaker 2: it's it's going to happen I don't mean going to
- 12:01Speaker 2: happen someday. I mean it's like you can tell their health,
- 12:04Speaker 2: their health is rapidly declining. You know what's going to
- 12:06Speaker 2: happen soon, so you can kind of mentally prepare for that.
- 12:10Speaker 2: But yeah, the relationship thing.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Not so much.
- 12:16Speaker 2: But now you got a new lover your life, and
- 12:18Speaker 2: she beat on you already, so I'm happy for you.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and now and now you get all the
- 12:26Speaker 2: the love and now now now you get the beautiful
- 12:31Speaker 2: wonder that is raising a puppy, the house breaking, the
- 12:34Speaker 2: great training, good thing.
- 12:38Speaker 4: She's cute, Yeah she so she's ten weeks old, and yeah,
- 12:45Speaker 4: she's already got the nibbles a little bit. And we've uh,
- 12:50Speaker 4: we've been hit.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Or missed so far with the peep ad, but uh
- 12:55Speaker 1: and first night, yeah, of course, I'd tried to put
- 13:00Speaker 1: her in a crate that I have and it's more
- 13:05Speaker 1: like a carrying crate like you would take to the bed.
- 13:10Speaker 1: So I've got a regular crate ordered. But of course
- 13:14Speaker 1: I had to put her in my bed because she
- 13:15Speaker 1: was crying and stuff.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Of course, because you look down on the floor, you
- 13:18Speaker 2: saw her in that crate, and Sarah McLoughlin started playing
- 13:20Speaker 2: in your heart melt and you grabbed that baby and
- 13:22Speaker 2: put her next to you in the bed.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Let's see if she was crying and you know what
- 13:25Speaker 4: am I going to do? And she's quite the snuggler.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Dogs asleep with their humans live longer, and I'm serious
- 13:35Speaker 5: that they've they've shown that here recently, so I believe it.
- 13:39Speaker 3: That's probably the reason why sleeping with.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Me years ago, I mean, we we had just kind
- 13:43Speaker 1: of become this old married couple where she would get
- 13:47Speaker 1: her five minutes of pets and then she'd go to
- 13:49Speaker 1: the other side of.
- 13:49Speaker 4: The bed and yeah.
- 13:52Speaker 1: And it's funny because, like in the middle of the night,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I wake up and I'm like, oh, crap, where is she?
- 13:59Speaker 1: And I look at you know, she has gotten underneath
- 14:02Speaker 1: all the pillows, right.
- 14:06Speaker 2: And day Zy was so small and Daisy was so
- 14:08Speaker 2: small you had legitimately, like wonder to make sure you
- 14:10Speaker 2: didn't roll over on top of her.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Well she can. She's actually right now, a little smaller
- 14:16Speaker 4: than Daisy. And uh, she got a fat little belly,
- 14:20Speaker 4: but she can get through.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Like she got behind my sofa, which I didn't even
- 14:27Speaker 1: think was possible. And then I'm like, crap, I got
- 14:29Speaker 1: to pull the sofa out now. And then you know,
- 14:31Speaker 1: she just pops out the other side, like, hey, what's
- 14:33Speaker 1: going on.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Yeah, she's puppy.
- 14:35Speaker 4: She don't know.
- 14:35Speaker 2: She don't care man, not a care in the world.
- 14:38Speaker 2: She's just learning stuff, enjoying life.
- 14:40Speaker 3: She's exploring.
- 14:43Speaker 4: I don't think.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I don't know how much bigger she'll get per her parents.
- 14:48Speaker 1: She shouldn't get I'm gonna guess she's gonna be around
- 14:50Speaker 1: five pounds yea.
- 14:52Speaker 4: And but yeah, the come.
- 14:54Speaker 1: The day will come where she tries to get into
- 14:56Speaker 1: one of those spots and be like, nope, can't fit anymore.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll happen. It's interesting you mention that, because it
- 15:02Speaker 2: reminds me of Terra's Chuaba she had when she and
- 15:05Speaker 2: I first met Daphne, and Daphne was sort of a
- 15:09Speaker 2: similar size to Lily of what Lily's going to be.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Daphne was about four and a half pounds, full grown
- 15:15Speaker 2: and tiny, little brown Chihaha thing, and Tara's nickname for
- 15:20Speaker 2: her was worm because she always found a way to
- 15:23Speaker 2: worm her way into places you never would have expected,
- 15:26Speaker 2: especially in bed. She was also a space heater because
- 15:30Speaker 2: that little four and a half pound dog emitted more
- 15:33Speaker 2: heat than a boiler room. I mean, it's amazing what
- 15:37Speaker 2: it is with some of these tiny dogs. And I
- 15:39Speaker 2: don't know if it's a Chihuaha thing or what, but
- 15:42Speaker 2: a tiny Chihuahua could heat a neighborhood.
- 15:46Speaker 4: In her younger years, Daisy would sleep right here on
- 15:48Speaker 4: my neck.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Oh and yeah, I would wake up sweating because she
- 15:53Speaker 1: would just just emitted so much heat.
- 15:57Speaker 2: You could have a Golden Retriever sleeping on your face
- 16:00Speaker 2: and you would be cooler than if you had to
- 16:02Speaker 2: chihuahua doing the same thing.
- 16:04Speaker 5: It's all that energy in that tight little space. That's
- 16:06Speaker 5: why they shiver all the time. It's like that that
- 16:09Speaker 5: energy's gotta go somewhere.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Maybe it's what it is.
- 16:12Speaker 2: And the other thing about puppies, like, you know, she
- 16:14Speaker 2: peed on you, you didn't even care. Puppy toots, the
- 16:17Speaker 2: little puppy farts. Oh, everything a puppy does is cute.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Bubby breath is yep, puppy breath, you know, puppy belly rubs,
- 16:24Speaker 2: puppy smells you smelling puppies, But farts seems to be
- 16:29Speaker 2: cute when they get older and they get stinkier like
- 16:31Speaker 2: with humans. Yes, kids, This is a segue at a
- 16:36Speaker 2: movie theater in Cartagena, Colombia. Previously Cartagena previously known in
- 16:41Speaker 2: my life as just you know, the cocaine capital of
- 16:44Speaker 2: the world. It's also a place not to go to
- 16:47Speaker 2: a movie theater, apparently because at a spider Man Brand
- 16:50Speaker 2: New Day screening over the weekend in Carta Hana, Columbia,
- 16:54Speaker 2: about halfway through the film, a number of the audience
- 16:59Speaker 2: members had to flee the theater because of.
- 17:02Speaker 3: A horrendous rotten smell.
- 17:05Speaker 2: They make it to the lobby, tell the staff, and
- 17:07Speaker 2: then somehow they conclude it was from a fart from
- 17:13Speaker 2: a guy in the theater dressed as Spider Man. I've
- 17:20Speaker 2: only heard of a few legendary farts like this one.
- 17:26Speaker 2: What I believe was I think attributed to Will Smith
- 17:29Speaker 2: on a movie set that was so bad it cleared
- 17:32Speaker 2: out the set. And there's this one that apparently was
- 17:36Speaker 2: so bad it cleared out a movie theater in Columbia.
- 17:42Speaker 2: I can't fathom what that must have smelled like. And
- 17:47Speaker 2: I also put myself in that situation. It's the Spider
- 17:52Speaker 2: Man Brand New bab It's the Spider Man Brand New
- 17:54Speaker 2: day movie. I've waited a while for this one. I'm
- 17:58Speaker 2: really excited to be in the theater to see it.
- 18:00Speaker 2: It's halfway through the movie and this smell overtakes me.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Do I leave or do I just try to just
- 18:11Speaker 2: power through it because I really want to see this
- 18:14Speaker 2: movie and it's halfway through, so things are getting really
- 18:16Speaker 2: really good now, and there's a little dark corner of
- 18:22Speaker 2: my brain that wonders that's curious to smell it, just
- 18:28Speaker 2: to know how bad it smells.
- 18:32Speaker 3: What would you do, because.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I mean, the only way to know whether or not
- 18:38Speaker 2: you would stay in the theater or leave is you
- 18:40Speaker 2: have to smell it.
- 18:41Speaker 4: Right. Yeah, it's hard to believe that it was that
- 18:50Speaker 4: bad that you just had to leave.
- 18:52Speaker 3: And I'm with you covering up your nose.
- 18:55Speaker 1: And mouth and whatnot, but that that is a pretty
- 19:03Speaker 1: putrid smell of if it evacuates something.
- 19:06Speaker 5: I mean, it might be that bad for a moment,
- 19:09Speaker 5: but it's going to dissipate. You know, in fifteen seconds
- 19:12Speaker 5: you're all going to be able to sit back down
- 19:14Speaker 5: and do whatever. Just one dude in a movie theater.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Right, And that's what I think was part of the
- 19:21Speaker 2: problem is that it happened. It was horrendous, and it lingered,
- 19:25Speaker 2: it stuck there, and that's a big reason why people
- 19:28Speaker 2: had to leave, because it wasn't dissipating.
- 19:31Speaker 5: It is humid there.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Well it's in Cartagenia.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Their theater may not have air conditioning or something else,
- 19:39Speaker 1: because most theaters in the US they're going to be
- 19:42Speaker 1: pretty well ventilated. That no matter like that smell is
- 19:44Speaker 1: going to get out of there pretty quick.
- 19:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Now, where I live on the Island of Saint Thomas,
- 19:49Speaker 2: the movie theater there is not good. It's basically the
- 19:53Speaker 2: State side equivalent of a dollar theater. If you remember,
- 19:58Speaker 2: for DFW folks, if you remember the Cinemak ten and
- 20:01Speaker 2: Plano that used to be a premier movie theater back
- 20:04Speaker 2: in the nineties, eventually became a dollar movie theater because
- 20:08Speaker 2: they never updated it and just left it as it was,
- 20:10Speaker 2: so before it finally died, it was just a dollar theater.
- 20:13Speaker 2: That's what our theater on Saint Thomas is like. So
- 20:18Speaker 2: not greatly ventilated. Sometimes the arizon, sometimes it's not. A
- 20:24Speaker 2: guy walked in one of the last movies we saw there.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Guy walked in halfway through, like near the end of
- 20:29Speaker 2: the movie, making all sorts of noise, and his cologne
- 20:33Speaker 2: was so horrible it was distracting during the movie. And
- 20:38Speaker 2: it was not being sucked out of the room the
- 20:40Speaker 2: way you would hope.
- 20:41Speaker 3: It was just bad.
- 20:42Speaker 2: It wasn't so bad that we had to leave, partly
- 20:44Speaker 2: because it's near the end of the film. I'm committed,
- 20:46Speaker 2: I'm not leaving now. But that was bad. And look,
- 20:52Speaker 2: nothing can ruin the movie theater experience faster and more
- 20:56Speaker 2: efficiently than a horrible person, a stinky person, loud person whatever,
- 21:03Speaker 2: and it's getting worse. It used to be back in
- 21:05Speaker 2: the day that people wore more considerate They were trying,
- 21:10Speaker 2: at least trying to eat the popcorn a little bit quieter.
- 21:13Speaker 2: They would try to wait to open up the plastic
- 21:15Speaker 2: bag on the Eminem's when action was happening, as opposed
- 21:18Speaker 2: to a quiet part. At least, that was my experience
- 21:21Speaker 2: growing up. Nowadays, people just don't give en f about anything.
- 21:24Speaker 2: They just do whatever they want and don't care about
- 21:26Speaker 2: anybody else's experience.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Especially phones mmm mm hmm and just talking in the movie.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Yep, m hmm.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Hell.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I remember going to see The Three Amigos with my
- 21:40Speaker 2: dad in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at the Pin Theater, so not
- 21:44Speaker 2: even the main theater like the other theater that they had,
- 21:48Speaker 2: And there was six of us in the movie theater,
- 21:50Speaker 2: all six of us completely considerate of one another. No
- 21:54Speaker 2: one coughed, no one farted, no one opened up an
- 21:56Speaker 2: eminem package, no one shook their empty cup of ice.
- 22:03Speaker 2: So that way, when the singing bush saying, we all
- 22:06Speaker 2: heard every note as opposed to wondering what song is
- 22:11Speaker 2: she singing. It's just I gotta hate movie theater people
- 22:15Speaker 2: are the worst, And luckily I have a buffer, and
- 22:18Speaker 2: it's my wife, because every single time we go to
- 22:23Speaker 2: a movie theater, if there's a stinky guy, he will
- 22:26Speaker 2: sit next to her. She is my stinky guy movie
- 22:30Speaker 2: theater filter.
- 22:33Speaker 5: So more of an a tractor of that kind of
- 22:36Speaker 5: thing maybe, but at least I'm not next to him.
- 22:41Speaker 5: So sweet, so romantic and kind of.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Like when we went to the theater to go see
- 22:45Speaker 2: Avengers Endgame and I got the aisle seat, she sits
- 22:48Speaker 2: next to me, and stinky sweatpants guy wearing his Captain
- 22:52Speaker 2: America t shirt tucked into his stinky sweatpants sits next
- 22:55Speaker 2: to her, and he clearly had not been outside in weeks,
- 22:59Speaker 2: but he came out to see Avengers in game and
- 23:01Speaker 2: made sure he sat in the seat next to my wife.
- 23:03Speaker 3: So for three hours she got to inhale him.
- 23:07Speaker 4: She must have a tolerance for it.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Hey, I don't like your insinuation.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Let's get Daniel Cook from COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration into
- 23:25Speaker 2: the Treehouse eight three three. COOKDFW is the phone number
- 23:29Speaker 2: to get your free roof inspection and property review scheduled.
- 23:33Speaker 2: The website cookdfw dot com. I'm going to say some
- 23:37Speaker 2: scary words, Daniel, super l Nino and the effect that
- 23:46Speaker 2: is going to have on weather, especially in the North
- 23:50Speaker 2: Texas area.
- 23:52Speaker 4: You know you're right.
- 23:54Speaker 6: I mean, just our officially in going into the super
- 23:57Speaker 6: al Nino. The reason why is because it's warm than
- 24:00Speaker 6: a regular al Nino, and it does prelude that we
- 24:04Speaker 6: will have a wetter, higher rain percentage than a normal
- 24:10Speaker 6: year or shall we say on al Nina. So there
- 24:14Speaker 6: are some differences, speculations. Nothing is set in stone. This
- 24:18Speaker 6: is not a guarantee that we're going to have a
- 24:20Speaker 6: deluge of water for the next year. I mean, that's
- 24:22Speaker 6: just not what it means. Scientific data says, hey, we
- 24:26Speaker 6: might have a wetter than normal, we could have more storms.
- 24:30Speaker 6: It could be just a lot of rain. We all
- 24:32Speaker 6: need to go out and build arcs. I don't know,
- 24:34Speaker 6: but I mean be prepared. The moral of the story
- 24:38Speaker 6: is every day you live in North Texas, especially in
- 24:40Speaker 6: North Texas, be prepared. Know how your home is sitting,
- 24:43Speaker 6: Know how your roof is looks, Know how your windows
- 24:46Speaker 6: are working. No if your doors have holes in them, no,
- 24:49Speaker 6: I mean, just know your home. You call us out,
- 24:52Speaker 6: we want to educate you. We will come around, walk
- 24:54Speaker 6: you around, show you things that you should know, and
- 24:56Speaker 6: then we can help you with getting them taken care
- 24:58Speaker 6: of and.
- 24:59Speaker 2: No pressure, all education and Daniel and his fine team
- 25:02Speaker 2: at COOKDFW will take care of you the homeowner with
- 25:06Speaker 2: very very gentle hands.
- 25:07Speaker 3: I know because I've been in them.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Eight three three cook dfug that sound bad? Sounded bad?
- 25:12Speaker 2: Eight three three Cook DFW. Get that scheduled today the
- 25:15Speaker 2: website cookdfw dot com. This segment of the treehouse is
- 25:22Speaker 2: brought to you by COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration to get
- 25:25Speaker 2: your free roof inspection and property review called eight three
- 25:30Speaker 2: three Cook DFW. That's eight three three COOKDFW. The website
- 25:33Speaker 2: cookdfw dot com. Daniel Cook sent me a video the
- 25:36Speaker 2: other day and he was on somebody's roof, of course,
- 25:40Speaker 2: and he was talking about how this homeowner had storm
- 25:43Speaker 2: damage from two previous storms years before, like like two
- 25:48Speaker 2: years before and like five years before that, and because
- 25:51Speaker 2: the homeowner never got the roof checked for damage, wherein
- 25:56Speaker 2: tear happened after the storm damage. So now they're trying
- 26:00Speaker 2: to sell the home and insurance is not going to
- 26:03Speaker 2: cover the roof damage from any storm related stuff because
- 26:07Speaker 2: there's so much wear and tear on it. They're just saying,
- 26:10Speaker 2: too bad, that's wearing Tarry bubb So they're going to
- 26:13Speaker 2: be out of pocket when it's so, they're going to
- 26:17Speaker 2: be out of pocket trying to replace this roof just
- 26:19Speaker 2: so they can.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Get this home sold. That sucks.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Avoid that. Eight three three COOKEDFW. A major storm rolls through.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Get it checked so that way you don't end up
- 26:30Speaker 2: in an insurance nightmare. And they come out and they
- 26:33Speaker 2: do these checks for free. Eight three three COOKDFW or
- 26:36Speaker 2: again the website cookdfw dot com. We still have the
- 26:41Speaker 2: massager that ruined the whole relationship, and it's still out there.
- 26:48Speaker 2: What am I talking about? We'll get to that in
- 26:49Speaker 2: just a little bit here inside the treehouse. I'm Dan,
- 26:52Speaker 2: He's trade. That's Jerry. Today is Thursday, August sixth, twenty
- 26:57Speaker 2: twenty six. Let's celebrate today with some birthday some pretty
- 27:04Speaker 2: good throwback ones.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Today.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Jerry Hollowell, best known as Ginger Spice from The Spice Girls,
- 27:10Speaker 2: is fifty four today. The Edge from You two is
- 27:17Speaker 2: sixty five today, and I still have not forgiven you
- 27:21Speaker 2: too for their takeover of my iPhone on that album release.
- 27:29Speaker 4: God I'd forgotten about that.
- 27:31Speaker 5: I have not I I had too.
- 27:34Speaker 2: That makes me so That is one of the biggest
- 27:40Speaker 2: unexpected f ups that I have seen in modern times,
- 27:44Speaker 2: where they thought, hey, this sounds like a great idea,
- 27:48Speaker 2: we can just give everyone our album immediately on their phones,
- 27:51Speaker 2: and everyone's like, the you doing in my phone? I
- 27:53Speaker 2: don't want this. I mean, you talk about one of
- 27:57Speaker 2: the great reality checks in the history of pop culture,
- 28:04Speaker 2: That's one of them. Because to a man, I guarantee you,
- 28:08Speaker 2: everyone in You two thought that everyone was going to
- 28:10Speaker 2: just lose their mind and be so happy and excited
- 28:13Speaker 2: that they wake up to this U two album on
- 28:16Speaker 2: their phone like Santa had left it for them, and
- 28:19Speaker 2: then they found out real fast they not everyone loves
- 28:24Speaker 2: you dudes.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Ms. There's something that Trump's that and always will.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Is it something you can say out loud.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Two words Chinese democracy?
- 28:40Speaker 2: Oh, he's not making a political statement.
- 28:44Speaker 1: That's an album that was the Yeah, decades long awaited
- 28:50Speaker 1: Guns N' Roses album that was absolutely fucking horrendous, Like
- 28:58Speaker 1: I Appetite for Destruction will always be one of my
- 29:06Speaker 1: top three favorite albums. You could play it start to finish,
- 29:10Speaker 1: I mean, and I think part of it was the
- 29:12Speaker 1: timing of it and where it was all like the
- 29:15Speaker 1: hair bands and kind of glam rock whatever, not that
- 29:18Speaker 1: it was bad. I mean, you have Bonjovi, Poison whatever.
- 29:20Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden, Guns and Roses came
- 29:22Speaker 1: along and they were just, I don't know, there was
- 29:24Speaker 1: a something about their sound.
- 29:26Speaker 4: You were like, holy shit, this is amazing.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:30Speaker 2: They were the bridge between the sort of the the
- 29:33Speaker 2: hair bands of the eighties. Keep in mind, Guns and
- 29:36Speaker 2: Roses is an eighties band, but they were the bridge
- 29:39Speaker 2: sort of genre wise, between some of the hair band
- 29:43Speaker 2: sound and some of the Metallica more metal sound. They
- 29:46Speaker 2: were right in between there, and they were so freaking good.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:51Speaker 1: They were where everything else was kind of pretty and
- 29:56Speaker 1: you know, big hair like they just more raw.
- 30:00Speaker 4: I don't know if that's the right word.
- 30:01Speaker 1: But and then Use Your Illusion was actually a very
- 30:05Speaker 1: good album. There was one in between, I can't think
- 30:09Speaker 1: of it. It had patience, so you know, always a
- 30:11Speaker 1: good song, all right, patients are used to love her.
- 30:15Speaker 4: Anyways.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I was gonna say, it's funny that I know the
- 30:17Speaker 2: song that you're talking about, because if I could pick
- 30:19Speaker 2: an anthem for your love life, it would be guns
- 30:21Speaker 2: n' Roses patients. I used to love her.
- 30:26Speaker 1: No, that's no, I used to love her. That's a
- 30:27Speaker 1: different song, but yeah, I used to love her.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Oh that's right, My bad.
- 30:31Speaker 4: No, no, no, I made the same mistake.
- 30:34Speaker 1: But so I mean, I think used your Illusion came
- 30:38Speaker 1: out in like ninety two, ninety three somewhere around.
- 30:40Speaker 4: There, and then we waited fifteen years.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I can't remember when Chinese Democracy came out, but it
- 30:48Speaker 1: was years and years later, and it was so everyone
- 30:52Speaker 1: was just baited breath, like, oh my god, it's finally
- 30:56Speaker 1: even though Slash wasn't going to be on it, you
- 30:58Speaker 1: were just hoping.
- 31:00Speaker 4: God it was a piece of crap.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Yeah, that was a massive flop. Massive massive flop came
- 31:08Speaker 2: out in two thousand and eight, Chinese Democracy.
- 31:11Speaker 4: Man.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Oh eight was a rough.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Year for everybody.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Yeah, the economy took a nosedive Chinese Democracy came out.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Maybe maybe that's the reason why the economy took it dumb.
- 31:24Speaker 1: That everyone a lot of people wasted, you know, eighteen
- 31:28Speaker 1: bucks on buying the damn thing.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Stock market took a dive. Everyone started losing houses because
- 31:36Speaker 2: they spent eighteen dollars in one of the worst rock
- 31:38Speaker 2: albums in history. Thanks a lot, guns and roses. Other
- 31:43Speaker 2: birthdays today, this one, I'll make your heart happy. Okay,
- 31:48Speaker 2: Whenever I see this name, it always brings a smile.
- 31:53Speaker 2: So lay Moonfry is fifty today. I don't even care
- 31:57Speaker 2: that it makes me feel old that she's fifty. But
- 32:00Speaker 2: Brewster is fifty, and that makes me happy.
- 32:02Speaker 4: I wonder how she looks these days. She held up.
- 32:06Speaker 4: I mean, she looked good for a while.
- 32:08Speaker 2: I'm not sure. I've not seen her recently. The last
- 32:11Speaker 2: thing I remember seeing her in was when she had
- 32:15Speaker 2: a guest spot on Friends where she was dating Joey,
- 32:18Speaker 2: and she looked great then. But you know, granted that was,
- 32:21Speaker 2: you know, twenty years ago, maybe more.
- 32:25Speaker 5: She still looks pretty good. Yeah, yeah, oh yeah.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Well she's fifty, Tray, she's in your wheelhouse. Send her
- 32:34Speaker 2: a DM.
- 32:35Speaker 5: There you go, sled right in there.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Show her a photo of your new puppy.
- 32:40Speaker 5: There you go.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Oh, Lily's gonna get used.
- 32:49Speaker 2: She's not just your new best friend, She's also she
- 32:52Speaker 2: also has a mission. Michelle Yo is sixty four. She
- 32:58Speaker 2: is the Academy Award winner for Everything, Everywhere, All at Once,
- 33:02Speaker 2: The star of Crouching Tiger, Hidden, Dragon, Star Trek, Discovery,
- 33:05Speaker 2: and tons and tons of other movies, including her turn
- 33:11Speaker 2: in Chong Chi the Marvel movie. She was wonderful in
- 33:15Speaker 2: that great actress, and it's nice to see that she's
- 33:18Speaker 2: been able to do some roles that have not just
- 33:20Speaker 2: been centered on her kicking people in the face, like
- 33:23Speaker 2: people can see that she's just a talented actress period.
- 33:26Speaker 2: And is you know, more than just you know Kiki.
- 33:29Speaker 4: Crazy Rich Asians. Yes, actually a great movie.
- 33:32Speaker 3: I still have not seen that.
- 33:33Speaker 2: I've heard nothing but great things and it's been on
- 33:35Speaker 2: my watch list for so long, but I haven't done
- 33:37Speaker 2: it yet. I will tell you this though, since my
- 33:41Speaker 2: wife is a very accomplished wedding planner. The acoustic song
- 33:46Speaker 2: that's in there, Crazy Rich Asians is sort of like
- 33:48Speaker 2: the theme song to that movie. Brides Love love playing
- 33:54Speaker 2: that song as they walk down to Sandy Isle. And
- 33:58Speaker 2: one more really notable birthday I want to for out here,
- 34:00Speaker 2: actually two too.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Sorry. Melissa George is fifty.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Honest to god, I can't even picture her in my mind,
- 34:06Speaker 2: but because of what movie she's been in, I love this.
- 34:09Speaker 2: She's known for Alias Grey's Anatomy and if you've not
- 34:13Speaker 2: seen this ultra violent vampire movie, Get on it. She's
- 34:18Speaker 2: also in Thirty Days of Night. This is one of
- 34:21Speaker 2: those movies that actually had Josh hartn in it, kind
- 34:23Speaker 2: of in his weird stage when he wasn't really big anymore,
- 34:25Speaker 2: but he wasn't nothing. Thirty Days of Night is one
- 34:30Speaker 2: of the great vampire movies that I don't think a
- 34:32Speaker 2: lot of people have seen.
- 34:33Speaker 3: It's a great premise.
- 34:34Speaker 2: It's this town in Alaska, and you know how Alaska
- 34:37Speaker 2: in the sun and orbits work there are you know,
- 34:40Speaker 2: you go far enough north on the planet Earth, you're
- 34:42Speaker 2: going to find towns and countries that don't see the
- 34:45Speaker 2: sun for a good long time, which, in other words,
- 34:48Speaker 2: is perfect for a vampire. So again, if you have
- 34:55Speaker 2: not seen Thirty Days of Night, watch it. That's a
- 34:57Speaker 2: lot of fun. That's a fun vampire movie.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I've I know who you're talking about, but it goes
- 35:06Speaker 1: back like she was in early two thousands movies.
- 35:10Speaker 4: But mm hmm, yeah, vaguely familiar.
- 35:16Speaker 2: But yeah, I just mentioned her for her birthday, so
- 35:20Speaker 2: I can mention Thirty Days of Night. That's and and
- 35:22Speaker 2: that's one of those where in that that vampire movie,
- 35:25Speaker 2: the vampires in that movie have some really scary teeth.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Because your movie recommendations carry so much fucking.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Weight, dude, I'm telling you it's a fun movie. I
- 35:34Speaker 2: will tell you. I will tell you when it's a
- 35:36Speaker 2: bad movie you shouldn't watch it, or that it's so bad.
- 35:41Speaker 2: I like it, but you probably won't. Thirty Days of
- 35:43Speaker 2: Night is a fun vampire flick, that's all I'm It's
- 35:46Speaker 2: not Citizen Kane, it's not The Godfather. It's a fun,
- 35:49Speaker 2: gory vampire flick. You'll enjoy it.
- 35:52Speaker 4: Tell us about rat again.
- 35:54Speaker 2: It's terrible, but I had a BMX bookie. I saw
- 36:02Speaker 2: it as a kid. It has a little nostalgia twine
- 36:05Speaker 2: in my heart. And final final birthday today, m Night
- 36:08Speaker 2: Shyamalan fifty six.
- 36:12Speaker 4: We just talked about him. I thought, I swear m.
- 36:16Speaker 2: We actually just talked about him and Josh Hartnett the
- 36:19Speaker 2: other day because I think it was Josh Hartnet's birthday,
- 36:21Speaker 2: and we talked about the movie he and Hartkneitt did
- 36:23Speaker 2: called Trap, where it is the serial Killer and m
- 36:26Speaker 2: Night Shyamalan wrote and directed it and also stuck his
- 36:29Speaker 2: daughter front and center so he could bolster her music career,
- 36:33Speaker 2: and you want to talk about major pop culture flops,
- 36:36Speaker 2: m Night Shyamalan has certainly experienced those. Riding a high
- 36:40Speaker 2: wave and then you put out a movie and everyone's like, well,
- 36:43Speaker 2: that was terrible. And now when you see a movie
- 36:48Speaker 2: and they say directed by m Night Shyamalan, we're all
- 36:50Speaker 2: kind of like, man, I don't know, it could be awesomer,
- 36:54Speaker 2: it could just be terrible. We're not really going to
- 36:56Speaker 2: know until we see it.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Yeah, his his movies really are. They seem to be
- 37:04Speaker 1: one end of the spectrum or the other. There's really
- 37:06Speaker 1: not a lot of middle ground, right, and he he
- 37:08Speaker 1: never got big enough where like Spielberg can release a
- 37:12Speaker 1: flop and it's okay, you no one's gonna remember that.
- 37:15Speaker 4: But yeah, they definitely remember his.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Hard I don't think anyone's forgiven him for the Happening
- 37:23Speaker 2: or the Lady in.
- 37:24Speaker 3: The Water.
- 37:26Speaker 5: Signs. I can't.
- 37:31Speaker 2: I'll defend him on Signs. I loved Signs. I thought
- 37:35Speaker 2: that was really really good. Okay, I mean it's it.
- 37:43Speaker 2: It had a lot of promise. It's gotta, it's gotta,
- 37:48Speaker 2: you know. I think Alien Nation did the whole thing
- 37:51Speaker 2: about being allergic to water a lot better than he did.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Hm hmmm, because it's like they've they appear to be
- 37:57Speaker 2: carbon based life forms, and so they have to have water.
- 38:00Speaker 2: So why would aliens that are smart enough to travel
- 38:05Speaker 2: all that way through interstellar space to come to this planet?
- 38:07Speaker 5: Would be so stupid? Is to walk around naked on
- 38:09Speaker 5: a planet that's covered in a substance that they're allergic to.
- 38:14Speaker 3: You have put way more thought into this than Trey
- 38:16Speaker 3: and I have.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Hey, my biggest complaint about Signs was that you had
- 38:21Speaker 2: Joaquin Phoenix portraying some amazing baseball player and when he
- 38:24Speaker 2: picks up a bat in the final scene, it looks
- 38:26Speaker 2: like he's never touched one in his life.
- 38:30Speaker 1: No matter how big his flops are, he can always
- 38:33Speaker 1: go Hey, at least I'm not the KZPS morning show.
- 38:36Speaker 3: God damn, where is my pause button?

- 39:15Speaker 2: Trey, what did you say, Lily your new dog did
- 39:17Speaker 2: after that last segment?
- 39:19Speaker 4: Hey, if she even woke up and like looked up
- 39:21Speaker 4: at me give a little whine and then it was like,
- 39:28Speaker 4: I won't be on the floor again.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Damn, Daddy's mean. All right, back inside the treehouse, Dan
- 39:40Speaker 2: and Trey and Jerry, it is time for the end
- 39:44Speaker 2: of the week stupid news of palooza. Here inside the treehouse.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Four Dallas Police officers were among those caught in the
- 39:52Speaker 2: Dallas World Cup prostitution crackdown.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Guys.
- 39:58Speaker 2: H percentage wise, they were really low for the total
- 40:04Speaker 2: number of arrests, but the fact that they were in
- 40:06Speaker 2: there at all is bad. Operation Safe Streets resulted in
- 40:11Speaker 2: three hundred and thirty five arrests for prostitution and sex
- 40:15Speaker 2: trafficking during the Dallas World Cup. Four of those were
- 40:20Speaker 2: Dallas Police officers.
- 40:23Speaker 1: It was publicized, everyone knew they were running stings.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Come on, man, there really weren't even that many games
- 40:38Speaker 2: in Dallas at the time.
- 40:39Speaker 7: It's like, for what three weeks or so, It's just
- 40:42Speaker 7: a period where you just don't don't do that. I
- 40:45Speaker 7: mean you shouldn't do it at all. Let's make that
- 40:47Speaker 7: very clear. Don't do that at all. But you're on
- 40:51Speaker 7: the side of the stings, you should know better. I mean,
- 40:54Speaker 7: even on the public side.
- 40:57Speaker 2: We knew all this stuff was going to be heightened
- 40:59Speaker 2: as the World Cup stuff was happening in North Texas.
- 41:04Speaker 2: They just can't help themselves.
- 41:08Speaker 4: Then you always go apply at Lewisville.
- 41:16Speaker 3: Well, they do have experience, all right.
- 41:22Speaker 2: So we've all lamented the downfall of Spirit Airlines, but
- 41:29Speaker 2: there is an Australian airline that is seeking the crown
- 41:32Speaker 2: of the cheapest airline, and not just by monetary fare,
- 41:38Speaker 2: but just by the entire business model of charging you
- 41:43Speaker 2: for everything. Jetstar is an Australian airline and it is
- 41:51Speaker 2: going to now charge passengers to use the overhead bins
- 41:55Speaker 2: for their bags. Even Spirit Airlines didn't.
- 41:59Speaker 3: Charge for that. Wow, maybe they should have.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Uh for passengers on the budget Australian airline Jetstar. The
- 42:08Speaker 2: days of cramming your bag into an overhead locker already
- 42:11Speaker 2: full of your seat mate's full sized suitcases are coming
- 42:14Speaker 2: to an end.
- 42:15Speaker 3: But there is a catch.
- 42:16Speaker 2: The carrier is going to charge passengers for stowing carrying
- 42:19Speaker 2: on bags in the overhead compartments, beginning in February twenty
- 42:23Speaker 2: twenty seven. This came after passengers and airline staff named
- 42:27Speaker 2: having bags weighed at the gate and struggling to find
- 42:30Speaker 2: room in overhead lockers as the more stressful parts of
- 42:34Speaker 2: their airport experience, which honestly could be made up as
- 42:38Speaker 2: an excuse to just justify charging people for the overhead access.
- 42:43Speaker 2: But let me point out it is true that a
- 42:47Speaker 2: lot of us are stuffing our carrying ons with really
- 42:49Speaker 2: heavy stuff to get in that overhead compartment, because if
- 42:53Speaker 2: you're carrying it on, you don't have to weigh it.
- 42:56Speaker 3: You just got to be able to.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Carry it or roll it through the terminal, and then
- 42:59Speaker 2: you got to pick it up and put it in
- 43:01Speaker 2: the bin. I've done it, I'll admit it. I have
- 43:05Speaker 2: traveled across the country with broadcast equipment that probably weighed
- 43:09Speaker 2: forty pounds by itself, and I've picked that thing up
- 43:13Speaker 2: and put it in the overhead bin. But it was
- 43:15Speaker 2: in the normal roller carrying on things, so it fit.
- 43:17Speaker 3: It was just heavy.
- 43:20Speaker 4: I mean, I don't I don't blame them.
- 43:23Speaker 1: I think people will get I think people try to
- 43:26Speaker 1: carry on too much crap. It's really not that big
- 43:29Speaker 1: of a deal to check a bag, you know, I
- 43:31Speaker 1: don't know, I don't know when. I guess somewhere post
- 43:34Speaker 1: nine to eleven that everyone hated carry checking in a
- 43:38Speaker 1: bag and everyone tried to, you know, carry it all on.
- 43:41Speaker 1: It's like, it's ten to fifteen minutes typically you're not
- 43:48Speaker 1: it's not going to really make that much of a difference.
- 43:50Speaker 1: And it actually, to me, it makes the flying experience
- 43:54Speaker 1: much easier because you're not trying to find space in
- 43:57Speaker 1: the overhead bind or do what are you just stroll on?
- 44:01Speaker 4: Get your seat.
- 44:02Speaker 1: God, I missed the Spirit Airlines, big comfy seats up front.
- 44:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:06Speaker 5: And there for a while there was a spate of
- 44:11Speaker 5: luggage being lost that it kind of it kind of
- 44:15Speaker 5: spiked a lot higher than it would be normally. And
- 44:19Speaker 5: that's when I learned how to pack for six days
- 44:21Speaker 5: in a double bag or carry on.
- 44:25Speaker 4: I have had luggage lost. It's an awful, awful experience.
- 44:30Speaker 4: But I mean it was back. I think it was
- 44:31Speaker 4: Northwest Airlines. I mean they were just, oh wow, the
- 44:34Speaker 4: crappiest airline ever. And I mean it was the worst
- 44:38Speaker 4: it lost in Detroit and I was going to Quebec
- 44:40Speaker 4: and it took him like it was going for a
- 44:43Speaker 4: wedding and all my clothes in there and I was
- 44:47Speaker 4: in the wedding.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Yeah, oh so I learned.
- 44:53Speaker 4: I think.
- 44:54Speaker 2: I think the thing you can do to you sort
- 44:56Speaker 2: of navigate that is one. It depends on the trip
- 44:58Speaker 2: if you can find a way to get it where
- 45:00Speaker 2: it's just minimal packing and it's only carry on stuff. Cool,
- 45:03Speaker 2: you're right, trade There is sort of a relaxation that
- 45:07Speaker 2: comes from not having because when all your stuff is
- 45:09Speaker 2: with you in the carry on bag, then you need
- 45:11Speaker 2: to make sure you get on that plane so you
- 45:13Speaker 2: get overhead compartment space.
- 45:15Speaker 4: Right.
- 45:17Speaker 2: But if you just pack it all in the carry on,
- 45:19Speaker 2: then yeah, you don't have to worry about it as much.
- 45:20Speaker 2: It might be a little more laid back, but all
- 45:24Speaker 2: it takes is one time when they lose your luggage
- 45:26Speaker 2: and you don't have it for a little while to
- 45:28Speaker 2: when you realize you have to pack smart, whether it's
- 45:31Speaker 2: carry on or checking stuff. So if you're checking a bag,
- 45:36Speaker 2: make sure you have essentials that you need on your
- 45:40Speaker 2: carrying on with you, your toilet trees, all that, like,
- 45:43Speaker 2: make sure you've got essentials on you so you don't lose.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Yeah, a change or two of clothes in that bag.
- 45:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't even care about.
- 45:56Speaker 1: So much that I'll pack like a change of underwear
- 46:00Speaker 1: because I can buy a shirt, I you know, typically whatever,
- 46:04Speaker 1: but I toothbrush, contact solution, deodorant, hair joel, stuff like that.
- 46:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I will still try to carry on with me because
- 46:16Speaker 1: as long as you have that stuff, you're going to
- 46:17Speaker 1: be okay.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Yeah, Cyclospora is still out there. Went quiet for a
- 46:26Speaker 2: little while, didn't you hear a whole lot about it?
- 46:28Speaker 3: But now it is.
- 46:30Speaker 2: The cyclospora outbreak is now in fifteen states. This food
- 46:33Speaker 2: borne illness linked to shredded iceberg lettuce has now been
- 46:36Speaker 2: connected to six additional states. I honestly, I can't keep
- 46:40Speaker 2: up with how many states have been affected. This story
- 46:42Speaker 2: is saying fifteen. I thought it was more than that. Yes,
- 46:47Speaker 2: health official say the outbreak is caused by cyclospora, the
- 46:50Speaker 2: parasite that can lead to severe diarrhea and dehydration. More
- 46:53Speaker 2: than twenty two thousand suspected or confirmed cases and over
- 46:57Speaker 2: five hundred hospitalizations have been reported nationwide, and two debts
- 47:02Speaker 2: in Michigan.
- 47:03Speaker 4: Where I just was.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Granted, those people that died had underlying health conditions. I
- 47:11Speaker 2: don't know what they were, but so it wasn't like
- 47:13Speaker 2: they were in peak health in some way and then
- 47:15Speaker 2: they you know, shit themselves to death, which would obviously
- 47:20Speaker 2: be a god awful way to go. Investigators have traced
- 47:22Speaker 2: many cases to recalled Taylor Farms iceberg let us imported
- 47:26Speaker 2: from Central Mexico, though officials are still examining whether or
- 47:29Speaker 2: not other sources may be involved. Like the last time
- 47:32Speaker 2: we talked about this, the FDA was sending out an
- 47:34Speaker 2: apology letter saying they had a false positive with a
- 47:36Speaker 2: tailor farm's inspection. And then it came out and was like, well,
- 47:39Speaker 2: that was a false positive, but then there was another
- 47:41Speaker 2: test that still said it probably is them.
- 47:44Speaker 3: At the end of the day, they really still don't know, no, And.
- 47:48Speaker 4: This is this goes back to the problem of how
- 47:51Speaker 4: badly they handled COVID is.
- 47:54Speaker 1: People just don't listen to the government anymore, you know,
- 47:59Speaker 1: because and like I had really forgotten about this.
- 48:01Speaker 4: I was listening to something the other day. I had
- 48:03Speaker 4: totally forgotten the.
- 48:05Speaker 1: BS at the beginning of COVID, how they you know,
- 48:08Speaker 1: you had to disinfect every surface because they were saying,
- 48:12Speaker 1: oh it can it can last on packages for a week,
- 48:15Speaker 1: and it's like, no, it can't.
- 48:17Speaker 5: Oh it doesn't.
- 48:18Speaker 1: And you know that was complete bs. And then you
- 48:21Speaker 1: go back and you find out amazingly.
- 48:24Speaker 4: Lyesol had a deal with the CDC, and you go, h,
- 48:28Speaker 4: I don't think it was.
- 48:30Speaker 1: But I think the CDC, you know, hogged all the
- 48:32Speaker 1: Lyesol because you wouldn't buy Lysol for ever.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Yeah it was. Yeah, I'm with you. I don't think
- 48:40Speaker 2: it was a planned promotion. I don't think COVID. I
- 48:43Speaker 2: don't think the COVID pandemic was a promotion to sell Liesol,
- 48:47Speaker 2: although I'm sure Lyesol's thinking I wish we had thought
- 48:49Speaker 2: of that, but worked out for us either way. Uh,
- 48:53Speaker 2: but yeah, it's it. The mission. The misinformation through all
- 49:00Speaker 2: of that has just made everyone just kind of do
- 49:03Speaker 2: like they're like, give everything a little bit of a
- 49:05Speaker 2: RCA dog like, well, it's.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Like and I'll remain a political on it. But then
- 49:12Speaker 1: you go back and you see this the Fauci.
- 49:15Speaker 4: Diaries, and.
- 49:17Speaker 1: You knew all along that masking and all this other
- 49:20Speaker 1: stuff was ineffective and that you were pushing it on everybody,
- 49:23Speaker 1: and and for me, you just go back and you
- 49:26Speaker 1: look at the number of people who lost their homes,
- 49:28Speaker 1: their businesses, everything else because of stuff they knew was ineffective,
- 49:34Speaker 1: but yet they were doing it anyways, basically from what
- 49:37Speaker 1: I think, just to look like the government was doing
- 49:39Speaker 1: something from you know, six feet separation and masking everything else,
- 49:43Speaker 1: which really and at the end of the day, COVID
- 49:46Speaker 1: really wasn't that lethal, but we treated.
- 49:49Speaker 4: It like like it was gonna be, you know, wipe
- 49:52Speaker 4: out half the population.
- 49:54Speaker 3: It didn't, but it did kill my friend Alan Hollis.
- 49:58Speaker 4: I understand, I have no people, and this.
- 50:00Speaker 3: Is the guy that you know.
- 50:01Speaker 2: So it's like, I'm just saying that I don't like
- 50:05Speaker 2: it when I don't know how much of everything you
- 50:08Speaker 2: just said, how accurate it is.
- 50:09Speaker 3: I know that you believe it to be, so I
- 50:11Speaker 3: believe you.
- 50:12Speaker 2: I haven't followed all that stuff to the level that
- 50:14Speaker 2: a lot of people have, but I do know the
- 50:18Speaker 2: impact that you know, eight hundred thousand Americans or maybe
- 50:21Speaker 2: more that died from it, Uh that should not should
- 50:25Speaker 2: should not be lessened.
- 50:26Speaker 4: No, they didn't.
- 50:27Speaker 1: You got to remember everything. If you were in the
- 50:29Speaker 1: hospital and you died it was COVID.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Now, I did hear a bunch of that that a
- 50:33Speaker 2: lot of people would write that type of stuff down.
- 50:35Speaker 2: Well that was now and I heard that myself, But
- 50:38Speaker 2: I don't know how much of that is true.
- 50:40Speaker 1: But for the CDC, point one tenth of one percent
- 50:44Speaker 1: of COVID people was fatal the actual COVID deaths, So
- 50:51Speaker 1: it was not the great And I know people that died,
- 50:53Speaker 1: but I also I know two people who died that
- 50:55Speaker 1: were blamed that official cause of death was COVID and
- 50:58Speaker 1: know they had cancer m but a lot of that
- 51:02Speaker 1: is the way hospitals are funded, and they knew every
- 51:05Speaker 1: COVID death meant more money.
- 51:09Speaker 2: I can't get into all the veracity of all that
- 51:11Speaker 2: stuff because a lot of it is anecdotal and you know,
- 51:15Speaker 2: barring an outright you know, investigation to really find out
- 51:18Speaker 2: the truth on it, which obviously is not going to happen.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Well, another thing is you know the whole deal it
- 51:26Speaker 1: was a wet market. No, it was a lablique started
- 51:31Speaker 1: a Wuhand where they had the Wuhand Center for Coronavirus Research.
- 51:36Speaker 2: And can we just say, I think we all can
- 51:38Speaker 2: agree on this not to call it the wu Hand Center,
- 51:41Speaker 2: because that sounds like a place that's full of fun
- 51:43Speaker 2: and triviality like wu Hand.
- 51:48Speaker 1: Okay, the BSL for wu Hand Research Facility dedicated to
- 51:52Speaker 1: coronavirus research.
- 51:56Speaker 2: See that sounds more serious. Yeah, I'd pay attention to
- 52:02Speaker 2: that more.
- 52:02Speaker 4: And it's not so much rehash COVID. It's just so
- 52:07Speaker 4: much of what they did.
- 52:09Speaker 1: They'll never get away with it again, and there may
- 52:11Speaker 1: come a time where they really need to have to
- 52:15Speaker 1: do that. There definitely could be a virus that comes
- 52:17Speaker 1: along in the future where everyone really does need to
- 52:20Speaker 1: be really precautious and stay indoors and everything else and
- 52:24Speaker 1: everyone because of that, everyone's going to go screw you.
- 52:27Speaker 5: That's what the travesty of that whole thing was. We
- 52:30Speaker 5: had a good practice run for something that could be
- 52:32Speaker 5: absolutely deadly serious, and it was bungled from top to bottom.
- 52:38Speaker 3: Well see speaking of bottoms.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Nice tray knows. I from relationship advice on Reddit. I'm
- 52:52Speaker 2: a twenty nine year old male. My girlfriend is a
- 52:54Speaker 2: thirty female. I suggested to my girlfriend that I use
- 52:57Speaker 2: a prostate massage. You're during sex. Now our relationship is
- 53:01Speaker 2: falling apart.
- 53:02Speaker 3: How do I navigate this?
- 53:03Speaker 4: Situation floor as yours, Dan, how did you broach the subject? Really?
- 53:14Speaker 2: And twenty nine two things number one start small number two.
- 53:25Speaker 2: If she can't handle a request like that in the bedroom,
- 53:29Speaker 2: then you need to go out there and find you
- 53:30Speaker 2: a real man who will.
- 53:42Speaker 4: Well done, sir.
