- 1:08Speaker 1: Yeah, Sarah, what's going to be your strength and trivia?
- 1:12Speaker 2: That was probably more so fishing cooking, okay, maybe conservation,
- 1:18Speaker 2: probably not hunting.

- 1:30Speaker 4: I don't want to point I just want to make
- 1:32Speaker 4: it known that I'm probably the reason Sarah has a
- 1:34Speaker 4: job here because I did reference her.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I'd give him.
- 1:40Speaker 5: Know each other well.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Actually, so when I was in the military, I became
- 1:45Speaker 4: a really good friends with the guy close to my hometown,
- 1:47Speaker 4: both from South Dakota. Him and I became really close.
- 1:51Speaker 4: His name is Tom, and then Tom has two younger brothers,
- 1:55Speaker 4: and Sarah happens to be dating one of those two
- 1:58Speaker 4: younger brothers.
- 1:59Speaker 6: All the dirty laundry shilling.
- 2:02Speaker 1: And as a thank you, Sarah, you just ought to

- 3:53Speaker 1: trivia related question for our crew, send it to Trivia
- 3:56Speaker 1: at the Medeater dot com with the subject line. If
- 4:00Speaker 1: Daniel Riley says, w tf one day Spencer just shows
- 4:03Speaker 1: up with a mustache and no one even talks about it.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Did he lose a bet? Kennedy Swan says, why did
- 4:08Speaker 1: you shave your beer to a handlebar, mustache and soul patch?
- 4:12Speaker 1: I think it was for a Halloween costume, but my
- 4:14Speaker 1: husband disagrees. Well, Daniel and Kennedy did not lose a bet.
- 4:18Speaker 1: It was not for a Halloween costume. I just did it.
- 4:21Speaker 1: That's that's it. I wish I had some grand story
- 4:23Speaker 1: about it. That's it.
- 4:26Speaker 3: People are so demanding about hair choices, so bizarre to me.
- 4:31Speaker 1: We had Chili rasing Natal, what's your goal here? It
- 4:36Speaker 1: was a Halloween costume game.
- 4:38Speaker 6: He's saving up for a down payment.
- 4:40Speaker 8: People listen to you more when you have a stash.
- 4:43Speaker 6: Oh wow, I wouldn't know that because obvious listening to you. Yeah.
- 4:49Speaker 7: Yeah, But a lot of people have complimented me on it,
- 4:52Speaker 7: namely three, which is three more than I ever got.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Nice mustache, wh at least through the rut.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go. And I want to say that
- 5:04Speaker 3: it's not that nobody. You're always changing things up, so
- 5:08Speaker 3: I don't think anybody.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Look at that mustang right now. I'm letting it grow
- 5:12Speaker 1: because I've got a cold artery hunt next week and
- 5:14Speaker 1: I want to that, you know, keeps me warm and also,
- 5:17Speaker 1: you know, knocks down some of the glare when I'm
- 5:19Speaker 1: hopefully twelve yards from a buck. So where you're going,
- 5:22Speaker 1: we'll see South Dakota leaving leaving Syran and we have
- 5:26Speaker 1: some housekeeping to get you. On a previous episode of Trivia,
- 5:28Speaker 1: we had a question about what the fishing acronym CPR means.
- 5:32Speaker 1: The correct answer was catch picture release, which encourages anglers
- 5:36Speaker 1: to practice catch and release with certain fish like trout
- 5:39Speaker 1: and bass. But Drew Donzella wrote in with a photo
- 5:43Speaker 1: that he took of a sign at a fishing access
- 5:46Speaker 1: site in Connecticut that was created by the Department of
- 5:49Speaker 1: Environmental Protection. That sign asked anglers to SEEPR, which they
- 5:54Speaker 1: defined as consider proper release. I also found a pamphlet
- 5:58Speaker 1: from a Wisconsin trout on limited chapter that encourage fishermen
- 6:02Speaker 1: to consider proper release when targeting trout. Now that's certainly
- 6:06Speaker 1: the less popular version of CPR, that is catch picture release.
- 6:10Speaker 1: But if you said consider proper release as your answer,
- 6:13Speaker 1: then we'll consider that correct either way. The acronym's goal
- 6:17Speaker 1: is to get anglers to keep more fiscialized.
- 6:19Speaker 3: That's like the start of a twelve step program. We
- 6:22Speaker 3: just want you to consider it properly and then come
- 6:25Speaker 3: back to us once you're like considering it, and we'll
- 6:29Speaker 3: get you into the rest.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Of the program.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Mm hmm, that's weird.
- 6:32Speaker 3: We are, don't agree. Isn't that deep Connecticut?
- 6:36Speaker 6: Connecticut?
- 6:37Speaker 3: Well, isn't that their acronym for fishing game?
- 6:40Speaker 1: It must well, yeah, Department of Environmental Protection. I can't
- 6:43Speaker 1: keep up with some of those agencies have like one
- 6:46Speaker 1: that sort of manages it feels like state parks and
- 6:49Speaker 1: one that manages wildlife, So I don't know how their
- 6:51Speaker 1: breakdown is now. The Shelby Index for today is a seven,
- 6:56Speaker 1: which is her best score on Meat Eater Trivia. With that,
- 7:00Speaker 1: we're onto the game of trivia. Play the drop, Phil, Look, you.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Need to know what I stay under win everything?
- 7:12Speaker 1: How's that just tend to win everything?
- 7:22Speaker 3: Gamon Suckers.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Question one. The topic is gear, and as always, this
- 7:27Speaker 1: will be multiple choice. Which of these debuted first?
- 7:32Speaker 5: Is it?
- 7:33Speaker 1: Ford F one fifty Remington eight seventy Rapaula shad Rap
- 7:38Speaker 1: or Bass Pro Shops. Which of these things debuted first?
- 7:45Speaker 1: Ford F one fifty Remington eight seventy Rpaula shad Rap,
- 7:51Speaker 1: Bass Pro Shops. She'll be getting A seven could give
- 7:55Speaker 1: her a victory today. She's won one game ever before
- 7:59Speaker 1: with Shelby Index. This could be the second. I don't
- 8:04Speaker 1: think it is as easy as she made it seem.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Which of these things debuted first? F one fifty Remington
- 8:10Speaker 1: eight seventy shad Wrap best pro is everybody ready?
- 8:15Speaker 3: How do you did Shelby win the game during the
- 8:20Speaker 3: testing phase where it's only YouTube.
- 8:22Speaker 1: She had a Shelby Index of five, and I think
- 8:24Speaker 1: our winner also had five. And then I gave her
- 8:26Speaker 1: the multiple choice question when I got home, and she
- 8:29Speaker 1: had a closer answer than Yanni, who was our winner
- 8:31Speaker 1: that day.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I don't understand how you can consider it actually winning
- 8:35Speaker 3: if there's not the social pressure.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Well, in the bookkeeping, Yanni got the victory. So yeah, yeah,
- 8:44Speaker 1: it's everybody ready, go ahead and reveal your answers. We
- 8:49Speaker 1: have Sam saying best Pro, Randall Remington eight seventy, Cal
- 8:54Speaker 1: Remington eight seventy, Corey and Chili say Remington eight seventy.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Nate and Colin and Sarah say bass Pro. One of
- 9:05Speaker 1: you two groups is correct. The correct answer is Remington
- 9:09Speaker 1: eight seventy. The Remington eight seventy made its debut in
- 9:13Speaker 1: nineteen fifty. Bass Pro was in nineteen seventy two, the
- 9:17Speaker 1: Ford F one fifty was in nineteen seventy five, and
- 9:21Speaker 1: the Rpaula Shadrap was nineteen eighty two. Other things that
- 9:24Speaker 1: happened the year the Remington eight seventy was born include
- 9:28Speaker 1: the start of the Korean War, the comic strip Peanuts
- 9:31Speaker 1: was created, and the first ever credit card was used.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Question two. The topic is cooking. This nineteen ninety one
- 9:40Speaker 1: movie created the famous pairing of quote liver with some
- 9:44Speaker 1: fava beans and a nice kiyanti. This nineteen ninety one
- 9:53Speaker 1: movie created the famous pairing of liver with some favabeans
- 9:58Speaker 1: and a nice kiyanti. I think it's fava Yeah, I agree,
- 10:01Speaker 1: fava beans. Okay, that's fine. Won't won't argue with you
- 10:05Speaker 1: on that. I got too stressed about the pronunciation of
- 10:08Speaker 1: the wine.
- 10:09Speaker 3: I went up to a a new bar to me
- 10:13Speaker 3: in an old Montana town a couple of weeks ago,
- 10:16Speaker 3: and they had chess lick.
- 10:18Speaker 5: Oh really yeah?
- 10:19Speaker 1: What kind of meat was it?
- 10:21Speaker 3: I don't know. It was like very expensive chess lick. Okay,
- 10:25Speaker 3: they were upgrading the beef. If it's very expensive, I
- 10:28Speaker 3: would assume it's lamb or mutton. But if it just
- 10:31Speaker 3: seemed reasonable, then it was probably beef. It was like
- 10:34Speaker 3: nineteen bucks, which seems very expensive for deep fat fred
- 10:39Speaker 3: or deep oil freed me.
- 10:41Speaker 1: You try some and then you you'll you'll know the
- 10:44Speaker 1: price tag is worth it. It's our state, nash in
- 10:47Speaker 1: South Dakota.
- 10:48Speaker 6: I get it, But I mean, is that an official category?
- 10:52Speaker 1: What's that they made it one. This nineteen ninety one
- 10:57Speaker 1: movie created the famous pairing of liv for with some
- 11:01Speaker 1: fava beans A nice Kyanti. Here's a hint. Is everybody ready?
- 11:10Speaker 1: Do you think you know it's Sam? I definitely don't
- 11:14Speaker 1: know it. Okay, it's everyone who's going to come up
- 11:17Speaker 1: with an answer? Have their answer?
- 11:22Speaker 3: What's going on there? Colin?
- 11:24Speaker 6: I can't think of it.
- 11:27Speaker 5: If I come up with a guest, it's gonna be stupid.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Chill, are you ready?
- 11:32Speaker 6: I have so many hints.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I want to drop ahead and reveal your answers. We
- 11:37Speaker 1: have Sam saying Fargo, Randall and Cal and Corey and
- 11:43Speaker 1: Chili say Silence of the Lambs. Nate says Silence of
- 11:47Speaker 1: the Lambs. Colin and Sarah don't have an answer. The
- 11:50Speaker 1: correct answer is Silence of the Lamb.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Phil that's a great What's what's the musical group that
- 11:56Speaker 3: does the song that it puts the lotion on the skin. Yes,
- 12:02Speaker 3: it gets the hose again.
- 12:04Speaker 5: I have no idea.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Is that Joe dirt bit they reference it in there?
- 12:08Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 12:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah. Kanti is a dry red wine from the
- 12:13Speaker 1: Tuscany region of Italy. In the book, it was an
- 12:16Speaker 1: amorone but producers changed it to a wine that they
- 12:20Speaker 1: thought was more familiar with audiences. Here is Anthony Hopkins
- 12:24Speaker 1: as Hannibal Lecter, delivering that line. A census taken once
- 12:30Speaker 1: tried to test me. I ate his liver with some
- 12:34Speaker 1: father beans and a nice kyante spot off do one
- 12:47Speaker 1: more time for us. Corey, Very good, Hannibal Lector. Question three,
- 12:53Speaker 1: The topic is woodsmanship. Name two of the ten states
- 12:59Speaker 1: that have a pot pine tree as their state tree.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Name two of the ten states that have a pine
- 13:07Speaker 1: tree as their state tree.
- 13:10Speaker 7: Two of ten?
- 13:11Speaker 2: Huh?
- 13:11Speaker 1: Two of ten. Corey won the Mead Eater Halloween costume
- 13:16Speaker 1: contest last week. You could see him wearing that costume
- 13:18Speaker 1: on Mead Eater Radio. He was Merlin the Wizard.
- 13:22Speaker 7: I gotta give a shout out to my wife, who
- 13:24Speaker 7: should have won that, and I'll give her an hundred
- 13:26Speaker 7: dollar gift card.
- 13:26Speaker 1: There you go.
- 13:27Speaker 7: That was all her she ordered it said, this is
- 13:29Speaker 7: what you're wearing.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I said, all right, there's a whole family affair you had, Merlin.
- 13:32Speaker 1: What was your son Marshall?
- 13:34Speaker 7: Was King Arthur?
- 13:35Speaker 1: And what was your wife? Queen Gwenevere? Very creative?
- 13:41Speaker 7: Got lots of candy that night, not because of the costume.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Name two of the ten states that have a pine
- 13:49Speaker 1: tree as their state tree. Is anybody very confident like
- 13:57Speaker 1: they know this? Know this? Just some educated guesses, Hapen.
- 14:00Speaker 6: If we put more than two answers.
- 14:01Speaker 1: You're gonna get it wrong. Sam, Are you ready go
- 14:06Speaker 1: ahead and reveal your answers? We have Sam saying Oregon
- 14:11Speaker 1: and Washington. Randall says Washington, Minnesota, cal says Montana, California,
- 14:19Speaker 1: Corey Montana, Idaho, Chili, Colorado, Montana, Nate, Georgia, Alabama, Colin, Maine, Washington, Sarah, Maine,
- 14:34Speaker 1: Vermont fil Did were you able to follow all of those?
- 14:37Speaker 3: I lost track after Corey.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Okay, we're gonna come back here. We'll read these again.
- 14:42Speaker 1: We have Chili saying Colorado, Montana, Nate, Georgia, Alabama, Colin, Maine, Washington, Sarah, Maine, Vermont.
- 14:56Speaker 1: The ten states.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Turns out it didn't really matter that I lost track after.
- 15:00Speaker 1: The ten states are Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada,
- 15:09Speaker 1: New Mexico, and North Carolina.
- 15:13Speaker 5: Corey was the only one who got it.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Corey Caulkins one of eight players to get the two
- 15:19Speaker 1: of ten Statesford is a Pine trees are the most
- 15:24Speaker 1: common state tree in America, followed by oak trees and
- 15:27Speaker 1: maple trees. Every state has a state tree, but California
- 15:31Speaker 1: and Nevada are the only states with two state trees.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Question four, the topic is fishing. According to Orvis, this
- 15:40Speaker 1: is quote the most widely used knot for tying two
- 15:44Speaker 1: pieces of monofilament together. According to Orvis, this is the
- 15:51Speaker 1: most widely used knot for tying two pieces of monofilament together. Corey,
- 15:58Speaker 1: did you get questioned one?
- 15:59Speaker 3: Right?
- 16:00Speaker 5: Yep?
- 16:00Speaker 1: Okay, then we have a perfect game still going. This
- 16:04Speaker 1: is question four, so jealous, the most widely used for
- 16:08Speaker 1: tying two pieces of monophilament together. Sarah, do you have
- 16:14Speaker 1: this one right?
- 16:16Speaker 2: I think I've got a shot.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Okay, it's one of two chili. Do you have this
- 16:20Speaker 1: one right?
- 16:21Speaker 6: I think so, Corey.
- 16:23Speaker 4: I don't think Corey uses this one though when.
- 16:25Speaker 8: We go fishing.
- 16:27Speaker 7: But yeah, I don't like this one.
- 16:29Speaker 4: Yeah, if it is what I think it is, Corey
- 16:32Speaker 4: said some bad stuff.
- 16:33Speaker 1: All right, it's everybody ready talking smack about not go
- 16:37Speaker 1: ahead and reveal your answers. We have okay, we have
- 16:44Speaker 1: He didn't look at the bar. We'll trust him. Sam says,
- 16:47Speaker 1: what's what's your answer? Sam Insurgeon's not Randall. Surgeon's not
- 16:52Speaker 1: col Surgeon's not Cory. What's that say, Corey?
- 16:56Speaker 3: You don't have to read surgeon.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Surgeon's not Chili surgeon. It's not Nate, surgeon's not Colin.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Fisherman's not Sarah. Blood knot.
- 17:07Speaker 4: That hint from Jilli there, That's what tipped me over
- 17:10Speaker 4: the edge, because I prefer the blood's not blood not.
- 17:13Speaker 1: The correct answer so much stronger. The correct answer is
- 17:16Speaker 1: the blood not. Only Sarah got that one right. Orbis
- 17:26Speaker 1: says the blood knot is the best not for construction
- 17:29Speaker 1: of a tapered leader. But they also say it's not
- 17:32Speaker 1: that anglers struggle with most. According to them, the speed
- 17:36Speaker 1: bloodknot is a good, easy alternative, but because the tag
- 17:40Speaker 1: ends go through the central loop in the same direction,
- 17:43Speaker 1: it's not a true blood knot.
- 17:46Speaker 7: Most you think the most widely used not would be
- 17:48Speaker 7: the easier not.
- 17:49Speaker 1: But you're saying that a surgeons not as easier or okay,
- 17:54Speaker 1: but you like the blood not better.
- 17:55Speaker 5: It's stronger.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Orbis declared it again the most widely used for tying
- 18:01Speaker 1: two pieces of monophilament together. Where's visast again from the
- 18:05Speaker 1: new east the northeast.
- 18:07Speaker 3: M Yeah, that's pretty much the point, right everyone here
- 18:11Speaker 3: is surgeons.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Not everyone over there is a blood nut.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Yeah, okay yeah.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Question five the topic is hunting. This next great question
- 18:21Speaker 1: is via Josh Ringsmooth. Z Wicki Archery invented this small
- 18:26Speaker 1: game arrowhead with wire springs that they refer to as
- 18:30Speaker 1: quote the unlosable miracle point lost. We have some disagreement
- 18:38Speaker 1: with the marketing they use. Zwicki Archery invented this small
- 18:42Speaker 1: game arrowhead with wire springs that they referred to as
- 18:46Speaker 1: the unlosable miracle point. Who said they've lost one? Oh? Okay, three?
- 18:52Speaker 1: What were you doing cow when you lost yourself one
- 18:55Speaker 1: of these?
- 18:58Speaker 3: I'm watching a grouse fly away with it?
- 19:01Speaker 1: Oh he was in it?
- 19:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Wow, you know, Corey, what what was your stock?
- 19:06Speaker 7: There's certainly a few grouse take off with mine, and
- 19:08Speaker 7: then others grouse ducks.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Right when I let go in the arrow just sailed
- 19:13Speaker 1: for miles and chili. Why did you lose one of
- 19:15Speaker 1: these arrowheads?
- 19:17Speaker 6: Well it's in a tree somewhere.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Yeah, so it wasn't not retrievable.
- 19:23Speaker 7: Yeah, you know where it's at, the unlosable miracle part.
- 19:27Speaker 6: First time I shot a squirrel of one of these,
- 19:30Speaker 6: I like have this vision that it was just gonna
- 19:32Speaker 6: like punch it, like like knock it out.
- 19:37Speaker 5: And it just went straight through, had a perfect hole.
- 19:40Speaker 3: You know what I started doing. This will save everybody
- 19:42Speaker 3: some cash. Sorry, it's wiki wing nuts.

- 20:45Speaker 1: into trees. They are a popular choice among stump shooters
- 20:48Speaker 1: and small game hunters because they're so hard to lose.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Other companies make similar broadheads, but Judo is a registered
- 20:55Speaker 1: trademark by Zwiki, making them the Kleenex of wired arrow points. Phil,
- 21:00Speaker 1: we're halfway through the game of trivia. Give us a scoreboard.

- 21:23Speaker 1: Everyone? Yeah.
- 21:26Speaker 6: When I got that I was happy because you got
- 21:29Speaker 6: that run wrong.
- 21:30Speaker 1: He couldn't get a perfect game. Question six the topic
- 21:36Speaker 1: is conservation. This next great question is via Albasha. This
- 21:41Speaker 1: brand awkwardly tweeted in twenty sixteen quote, we don't put
- 21:46Speaker 1: oil on ducks for ads. We use footage that our
- 21:49Speaker 1: partners capture. This brand awkwardly tweeted in twenty sixteen we
- 21:57Speaker 1: don't put oil on ducks for ads. We use footage
- 22:01Speaker 1: that our partners capture. Randal doing some erasing Chili. How
- 22:10Speaker 1: do you feel about your answer? Corey? Is this going
- 22:15Speaker 1: to keep you in the lead?
- 22:16Speaker 7: Yeah, I feel pretty confident that.
- 22:18Speaker 1: This brand awkwardly tweeted in twenty sixteen, here's the quote.
- 22:22Speaker 1: We don't put oil on ducks for ads. We use
- 22:26Speaker 1: footage that our partners capture. M Chili said fifty to
- 22:33Speaker 1: fifty and he's going with the other option. It's everybody ready, No,
- 22:40Speaker 1: go ahead? Sorry, Sam, We'll give you a few seconds.
- 22:44Speaker 5: Sorry does.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Sam's not cheating? He's not going to look up all right,
- 22:54Speaker 1: Sam says EPA. Randall says, Dawn com BP, Cory and
- 23:01Speaker 1: Chili and Nate say. Don, Colin says BP. Sarah says
- 23:07Speaker 1: Don Dish soap. The correct answer is Don. The room
- 23:13Speaker 1: did pretty well. VP does put oil on dogs.
- 23:16Speaker 8: Just.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Don Struck marketing gold. In nineteen eighty nine, when Chevron
- 23:23Speaker 1: tested multiple dish soaps on oil covered animals, they found
- 23:27Speaker 1: that Don cut grease faster and better than other brands,
- 23:30Speaker 1: which elevated them to conservation royalty. They claim that their
- 23:34Speaker 1: soap has helped clean over seventy five thousand animals that
- 23:37Speaker 1: have been affected by oil spills in the last forty years.
- 23:41Speaker 1: What's the word on animal specific shampoos?
- 23:45Speaker 5: It's like a bone. I got a pick with my wife,
- 23:48Speaker 5: so she's not.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Here at Randal. How many dogs do you own?
- 23:52Speaker 6: We owned three dogs.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Three dogs. They look like they need baths, No, they don't.
- 23:56Speaker 6: We we have dogs that have an oily enough coat
- 23:59Speaker 6: that they don't require bathing. The grime just slides right off.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Uh huh cal what kind of shampoo?
- 24:06Speaker 3: Uh?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Does Snort use?
- 24:09Speaker 3: The last time I watched Snort it was with tomato sauce. Okay,
- 24:15Speaker 3: because she got into a scunt.
- 24:17Speaker 6: On this subject, though, I was I was thinking the
- 24:19Speaker 6: other day, why is it that kids get the shampoo
- 24:25Speaker 6: that doesn't sting when it goes in your eyes? It's like,
- 24:27Speaker 6: why don't they make all shampoo like that?
- 24:30Speaker 1: They put too much trust in you. Randall is like,
- 24:34Speaker 1: I just.
- 24:35Speaker 3: If it doesn't hurt, you're not doing it right.
- 24:38Speaker 6: It's like, why do we Why do the kids get
- 24:40Speaker 6: the easy stuff?
- 24:42Speaker 1: Question seven The topic is wildlife. This pop star shocked
- 24:47Speaker 1: Hollywood in twenty twenty four when she married a forty
- 24:51Speaker 1: nine year old gator guide from Louisiana. We have chili.
- 24:57Speaker 1: It's the only mountain keeps up on the gossip. This
- 25:01Speaker 1: pop star shocked Hollywood in twenty twenty four when she
- 25:05Speaker 1: married a forty nine year old gator guide from Louisiana Chili.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Do you know this one for certain? Okay, Chilie's got
- 25:12Speaker 1: a little grand pop star? Right, yeah?
- 25:14Speaker 3: Pop? What is theater guide?
- 25:18Speaker 8: But there's there was a lot of when they got married,
- 25:24Speaker 8: the ex fiance of the guy came out and started
- 25:29Speaker 8: causing a big ruckus and it was just kind of
- 25:31Speaker 8: comical to read on it was pretty monny.
- 25:33Speaker 1: What else you got, phil? What have you gotten this one?
- 25:37Speaker 8: Right?
- 25:37Speaker 1: Oh?
- 25:37Speaker 5: Totally okay?
- 25:38Speaker 9: And I was gonna before I read the follow up
- 25:41Speaker 9: factor it, I was gonna tell this, but I holled off.
- 25:45Speaker 1: This pop star shocked Hollywood in twenty twenty four when
- 25:48Speaker 1: she married a forty nine year old gator guide from
- 25:51Speaker 1: Louisiana Randall, Do you have an answer?
- 25:54Speaker 3: I do.
- 25:55Speaker 1: How do you feel about your answer?
- 25:56Speaker 6: I feel okay. Oddly enough, I encountered this bit of
- 26:01Speaker 6: arcane knowledge very recently, and I'm not sure that I
- 26:05Speaker 6: can recall the name of the singer. But she shocked Hollywood, Yeah,
- 26:13Speaker 6: specifically Hollywood.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Yes, all right, I.
- 26:22Speaker 9: Would say, well, I don't want to give too much.
- 26:24Speaker 9: I'd say pop pop is a little that's kind of
- 26:27Speaker 9: a stretch.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Twenty four this musician I wrote pop star, which I
- 26:34Speaker 1: found others references.
- 26:35Speaker 5: Oh yeah, she's very famous.
- 26:36Speaker 1: But sure Phil would maybe disagree with this. I even
- 26:40Speaker 1: saw there was I think a Rolling Stones headline that
- 26:43Speaker 1: was like, is this person a pop star? Which they
- 26:47Speaker 1: like then talked about it in there.
- 26:49Speaker 6: Well that's kind of a hint.
- 26:51Speaker 7: Okay, what's the other genre that they might fit in?
- 26:54Speaker 1: We're not going to say anymore. This maybe pop star
- 26:57Speaker 1: shocked Hollywood in twenty twenty four when she married a
- 27:01Speaker 1: forty nine year old Gator guide from Louisiana.
- 27:05Speaker 5: I could be wrong.
- 27:07Speaker 1: The room is struggling to come up with the answers.
- 27:09Speaker 1: We're gonna need some answers here. Shortly. We're gonna flip
- 27:14Speaker 1: over the saboard.
- 27:15Speaker 3: You told me that. I mean, wait, if you're gonna
- 27:18Speaker 3: guess Bob.
- 27:22Speaker 8: First one because it wasn't for Instagram?
- 27:24Speaker 1: All right? Is everybody ready?
- 27:26Speaker 3: I just want to be a good example to our
- 27:29Speaker 3: friends that are competing here, aren't they don't have a good.

- 27:36Speaker 1: saying Carrie Underwood, Randall says Lonna del Rey, cal says
- 27:41Speaker 1: Janet Jackson, Corey Sabrina Carpenter. What's so funny? Randall?
- 27:45Speaker 6: Oh, I'm just Chili the confidence on Delray. We have
- 27:49Speaker 6: the same answer, Nate says.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Colin says Taylor Swift, Sarah says Madonna. The correct answer
- 27:57Speaker 1: is Lonna del Rey, Chili and Randall got that one right.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Lana Delray met her future husband, Jeremy Defreen in twenty
- 28:07Speaker 1: nineteen while taking one of his airboat alligator tours. Dfried's
- 28:11Speaker 1: instagram shows pictures of him deer hunting, catfishing, and crabbing.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Steve Ranella is a big fan of Lana del Rey,
- 28:19Speaker 1: and when I texted his wife Katie about the news
- 28:21Speaker 1: of her marrying a Gator guide, I asked if she'd
- 28:24Speaker 1: give me a quote for the podcast. Katie responded saying
- 28:27Speaker 1: I thought that was just a rumor, to which I
- 28:29Speaker 1: sent her an article confirming the wedding. Katie then said, quote,
- 28:33Speaker 1: Oh my god, Steve is going to be devastated. I mean,
- 28:36Speaker 1: I legitimately almost feel bad for him. Her husband is
- 28:39Speaker 1: Steve's age. Someone actually has to make sure he's okay.
- 28:42Speaker 1: When he hears this step and Katy had been married
- 28:45Speaker 1: for sixteen years. Wow, so maybe that's how you encountered it.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Randal is maybe you heard Steve No, No, I.
- 28:52Speaker 6: Can picture I can picture a photo of this man.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Phil. Is there like a song that we should know
- 28:59Speaker 3: Lana del Ray video Games?
- 29:01Speaker 9: Yeah, her big breakout was a Summertime Sadness, which is
- 29:05Speaker 9: done as like a remix that was all over pop radio.
- 29:07Speaker 9: I said, that's the only song of hers it's been
- 29:09Speaker 9: like radio friendly.
- 29:11Speaker 6: You guys really gave it away because I initially had
- 29:13Speaker 6: written down Katie Perry, and then Phil said, I don't
- 29:16Speaker 6: really know if i'd call out her a pop star,
- 29:19Speaker 6: and if Katie Perry isn't a pop star, darn it,
- 29:22Speaker 6: no it is. So thanks for causing that reconsideration.
- 29:25Speaker 5: Take this one back, Randall will split the winnings.
- 29:27Speaker 1: And yes, shocked Hollywood. And then she's a decade younger
- 29:30Speaker 1: than him. You know, you'd expect someone who's in like
- 29:33Speaker 1: an a list musician to run around with a similar crowd. Instead,
- 29:38Speaker 1: she wound up with her Gator Guide got to her. Gotcha,
