  Speaker 1: authority of his word, the relevance of his word, the

  Speaker 1: love of his word, the grace of his word, the

  Speaker 1: mercy of his word.

  Speaker 1: And we have it all found in the Holy Scriptures.

  Speaker 1: verse number nine, but you are a chosen race, a

  Speaker 1: royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a special people for God's
• 9:49
  Speaker 1: own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies, the
• 9:56
  Speaker 1: wonderful deeds and virtues.
• 9:58
  Speaker 2: And perfection.

  Speaker 1: Of Him who called you out of darkness into his

  Speaker 1: marvelous light. And you could cross reference this verse where

  Speaker 1: Exodus chapter number nineteen, verse five and six, so you

  Speaker 1: could see who God calls us to be his people,

  Speaker 1: a chosen race. Some theologians will say, oh, that's the Israelites,

  Speaker 1: not the Gentiles. But then in scripture says we've been

  Speaker 1: adopted into the family, and Abraham is the Father of

  Speaker 1: and virtues and perfections not of us, but of Him

  Speaker 1: we were lost, Remember when we were in bondage of sin.

  Speaker 1: to be a part of the family and of the

  Speaker 1: Kingdom of God without Jesus. Without his grace, where would

  Speaker 1: we be right now? We stuck still in our sin,

  Speaker 1: dying in it, not living. We would have a false
• 12:12
  Speaker 1: a false idea of love, a false idea of joy
• 12:15
  Speaker 1: and happiness. We'll be stuck in the world's system, just
• 12:20
  Speaker 1: what the enemy wants. But don't give into that. Don't
• 12:23
  Speaker 1: give into that when we're living set apart. That shows
• 12:27
  Speaker 1: the mark of a true believer. We don't say yes
• 12:31
  Speaker 1: to everything. You don't say yes to everything anymore. Remember

  Speaker 1: back in the day, Hey, let's go do X y Z.

  Speaker 1: But like, all right, cool, let me get dressed, let

  Speaker 1: would do without even a second thought, And we'd just

  Speaker 1: do it just because everybody else is. We would do

  Speaker 1: just because we wanted to feel included. Now that we're

  Speaker 1: set apart, right, sometimes a lonely road people don't call

  Speaker 1: as much. We don't get invited to a lot of

  Speaker 1: parties no more. We don't do what the world is doing,

  Speaker 1: So therefore we are different. Some people don't like that

  Speaker 1: because they feel like we're arrogant. We feel like people

  Speaker 1: feel like we're judging. It's not that we're being judgmental. Amen,

  Speaker 1: we're judging righteously what we should be doing.

  Speaker 1: That makes us special. We are His special people. You're

  Speaker 1: chosen generation, a world priesthood, a holy nation, his own

  Speaker 1: special people. We are special where his own special people.

  Speaker 1: We're proclaiming the praises of Him who called us out

  Speaker 1: of darkness into his marvelous light. So when Christ saves you,

  Speaker 1: listen to this. When Christ saves you, he sets you apart.

  Speaker 1: He sets you apart. You'll notice that by the drop

  Speaker 1: of popularity. You'll notice that because people will be like, oh,

  Speaker 1: you're some kind of you're in some kind of cult

  Speaker 1: or religion.

  Speaker 2: Now you're crazy. We don't want a part of that.

  Speaker 1: Not to make you better than others, but to make

  Speaker 1: you belong to Him. Right, this is not about perfection.

  Speaker 1: It's not all perfect now because God saved me. No,

  Speaker 1: you're holy now because God sets you apart. Your life

  Speaker 1: It could be a messy message, but your life becomes

  Speaker 1: His message. You walk, and you walk differently. Now your

  Speaker 1: walk actually becomes your witness. Right for the Lord Jesus

  Speaker 1: and your brand. You're talking about the brand of believers, right,

  Speaker 1: the mark of a true Christian. Your brand becomes His glory.

  Speaker 1: You're gonna notice it right away. And you don't have

  Speaker 1: to do much. You not have to do too much

  Speaker 1: at all. This is a work from the Lord. This

  Speaker 1: is a work by way of Holy Spirit. This is

  Speaker 1: a work that changes the inside of us and expresses

  Speaker 1: its way outside. The change will manifest. You will notice

  Speaker 1: that you are no longer bound to sin. You will

  Speaker 1: notice that although we fall, we get back up. You

  Speaker 1: will notice that it's not about being perfect. It's about

  Speaker 1: being holy the way God wants us to move amen

  Speaker 1: in this world. Power in that type of holiness. There's

  Speaker 1: power in separation. People will be like, oh, we're supposed
• 16:05
  Speaker 1: to be united. We are supposed to be united to

  Speaker 1: the Body of Christ. Being set apart doesn't mean we
• 16:12
  Speaker 1: avoid the world. Being set apart doesn't mean we disengage
• 16:15
  Speaker 1: with everybody that's in the world, because if that was
• 16:18
  Speaker 1: the case, then there will be no gospel to preach.

  Speaker 1: Who would be preaching to each other born again believers
• 16:23
  Speaker 1: preaching to born again believers.

  Speaker 2: We need to proclaim, preach.

  Speaker 1: The gospel, make disciples, baptize people in the name of

  Speaker 1: the Father's Son and the Holy Ghost, just as the

  Speaker 1: Word says we're commissioned to do so. It means we
• 16:37
  Speaker 1: don't blend in. We're not avoiding the world. We're just
• 16:42
  Speaker 1: not blending into the world. So it's easy to call
• 16:46
  Speaker 1: yourself a Christian. It's harder to live as one when
• 16:50
  Speaker 1: the culture celebrates the compromise. We as Christians don't celebrate
• 16:54
  Speaker 1: the compromise. And once we see it, havn't you notice

  Speaker 1: when we see a brother and sist the compromising it
• 17:01
  Speaker 1: bothers us. So in love, we should tell the person
• 17:04
  Speaker 1: his listen, you don't have to compromise. Stand for truth,
• 17:06
  Speaker 1: stand for righteousness. It's okay. We're here with you. We're

  Speaker 1: for what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? So we don't

  Speaker 1: partner with lawlessness. We don't partner in dark things. We

  Speaker 1: don't partner in dark deeds.

  Speaker 2: We don't celebrate Halloween, we don't do things like that.

  Speaker 1: Partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? What does light and darkness

  Speaker 2: Amen? So we know it's set apart.

  Speaker 1: see somebody going the wrong way. We should have compassion

  Speaker 1: and with a gent so loving spirit, try to approach

  Speaker 1: them with the word and correction. Amen, don't leave me alone.

  Speaker 1: You see me compromising. Amen, don't sweep nothing under the rug.

  Speaker 1: We need each other, Amen, and from there we grow

  Speaker 1: not about perfection. It's about holiness. Holiness not perfection. Can't

  Speaker 1: who don't have Christ Jesus. But think about this, when

  Speaker 1: you're in the world. What kind of light were you

  Speaker 1: shining when you were in the world. What kind of

  Speaker 1: life were you celebrating when you were in the world.

  Speaker 1: What kind of power did you have to stop doing

  Speaker 1: xyz when everybody else was doing it?

  Speaker 1: So, in other words, we were actually in chains. We

  Speaker 1: were actually in prison to our own evil desire. The

  Speaker 1: flesh was king, the flesh was our ruler.

  Speaker 1: Sin was our employer, and the wages of sin was

  Speaker 1: leading us to death. The payment for sin would have

  Speaker 1: been death. For those who are born again, let's praise

  Speaker 1: God right now and thank them that we're not headed

  Speaker 1: to a place called hell, separated from God's goodness for
• 19:47
  Speaker 1: all eternity. We are actually in a position to go

  Speaker 1: to a place called heaven, a man united with the

  Speaker 1: Lord for eternity. Those are the two.

  Speaker 2: Options, light or dark, life, life or death, Heaven or hell.

  Speaker 1: There's always two options, and God wants us to choose life.

  Speaker 1: I want you to choose life. Sometimes my flesh says,

  Speaker 1: why would you choose that? And I tell my flesh

  Speaker 1: because you try to kill me and the devil's a
