  having

  me

• 2:02
  Yeah,
• 2:02
  I'm
• 2:02
  really
• 2:02
  looking
• 2:03
  forward
• 2:03
  to
• 2:03
  our

• 2:04
  And
• 2:04
  we
• 2:04
  have
• 2:04
  a
• 2:04
  tradition.
• 2:05
  This
• 2:05
  is
• 2:05
  probably
• 2:05
  more
• 2:05
  of
• 2:05
  an
• 2:05
  articulate
• 2:06
  fly
• 2:06

  than

• 2:13
  Sir.
• 2:14
  Earliest
• 2:14
  fishing
• 2:15
  memory.
• 2:18
  Man,
• 2:18
  I
• 2:18
  it
• 2:18
  would.
• 2:19
  It
• 2:19
  would
• 2:19
  definitely
• 2:19
  be
• 2:19
  with
• 2:19
  my
• 2:20
  dad,
• 2:20
  and
• 2:21
  there
• 2:21
  he
• 2:21
  he
• 2:21
  grew
• 2:22
  up
• 2:22
  in
• 2:22
  sort
• 2:23
  of
• 2:23
  the
• 2:23
  very
• 2:23
  northern
• 2:24
  reaches
• 2:24
  of
• 2:24
  Idaho,
• 2:25
  and
• 2:25
  I
• 2:25
  grew
• 2:26
  up
• 2:26
  just
• 2:26
  south
• 2:26
  of
• 2:26
  that
• 2:27
  and
• 2:27
  there
• 2:27
  was
• 2:28
  a
• 2:28
  lake
• 2:28
  called
• 2:28
  MacArthur
• 2:29
  Lake
• 2:29
  that
• 2:29
  he
• 2:30
  fished
• 2:30
  a
• 2:30
  bunch
• 2:30
  as
• 2:30
  a
• 2:30
  kid.
• 2:31
  And
• 2:31
  I
• 2:31
  think
• 2:32
  that
• 2:32
  is
• 2:32
  probably
• 2:33
  my
• 2:33
  earliest
• 2:33
  memory
• 2:34
  sitting
• 2:34
  on
• 2:34
  a
• 2:35
  dock
• 2:35
  on
• 2:35
  MacArthur
• 2:36
  Lake,
• 2:36
  you
• 2:37
  know,
• 2:37
  catching
• 2:38
  4
• 2:38
  inch
• 2:38
  pan
• 2:39
  fish
• 2:39
  endlessly
• 2:40
  all
• 2:40
  day
• 2:40
  and
• 2:40
  just
• 2:40
  having
• 2:40
  the
• 2:41
  time
• 2:41
  of
• 2:41
  my
• 2:41
  life.
• 2:42
  I
• 2:42
  think
• 2:43
  that's
• 2:43
  probably
• 2:43
  the
• 2:43
  earliest
• 2:43
  I
• 2:44
  can
• 2:44
  actually
• 2:44
  remember.
• 2:45
  Yeah,
• 2:45
  that's
• 2:46
  super
• 2:46
  neat.
• 2:46
  And
• 2:46
  so
• 2:46
  when
• 2:47
  did
• 2:47
  you
• 2:47
  come
• 2:47
  to
• 2:47
  the
• 2:47
  dark
• 2:47
  side
• 2:48
  of
• 2:48
  fly
• 2:48
  fishing?
• 2:51
  I
• 2:51
  can't
• 2:51
  remember
• 2:52
  exactly.
• 2:52
  I
• 2:52
  think
• 2:52
  it
• 2:53
  was
• 2:53
  around
• 2:53
  10
• 2:53
  or
• 2:53
  11.
• 2:54
  My
• 2:55
  dad
• 2:55
  got
• 2:55
  me
• 2:55
  a
• 2:56
  clear
• 2:56
  water
• 2:57
  outfit
• 2:57
  from
• 2:57
  Orvis
• 2:58
  for
• 2:58
  Christmas
• 3:00
  and
• 3:00
  I
• 3:00
  remember
• 3:01
  I
• 3:01
  was
• 3:01
  so
• 3:01
  excited.
• 3:02
  I
• 3:02
  was
• 3:02
  enamored
• 3:03
  with
• 3:03
  watching
• 3:03
  him
• 3:03
  fly
• 3:04
  fish
• 3:04
  for
• 3:04
  the
• 3:04
  longest
• 3:04
  time.
• 3:05
  And
• 3:05
  prior
• 3:06
  to
• 3:06
  getting
• 3:06
  my
• 3:06
  own
• 3:06
  fly
• 3:07
  rod,
• 3:07
  he
• 3:07
  had
• 3:08
  my
• 3:08
  brother
• 3:08
  and
• 3:08
  I
• 3:08
  casting,
• 3:09
  you
• 3:09
  know,
• 3:09
  the,
• 3:09
  the
• 3:09
  quintessential
• 3:10
  adjust
• 3:11
  a
• 3:11
  bubble
• 3:11
  clear
• 3:11
  float
• 3:12
  on
• 3:12
  a
• 3:12
  spinning
• 3:12
  rod
• 3:13
  with
• 3:13
  a
• 3:13
  fly
• 3:13
  off
• 3:13
  of
• 3:13
  the
• 3:14
  end.
• 3:14
  But
• 3:14
  there
• 3:15
  was,
• 3:15
  there
• 3:15
  was
• 3:15
  never
• 3:16
  really
• 3:16
  the
• 3:16
  complete
• 3:17
  connection
• 3:17
  to
• 3:17
  fly
• 3:17
  fishing
• 3:18
  with
• 3:18
  that
• 3:18
  system.
• 3:18
  And
• 3:18
  so
• 3:19
  I
• 3:19
  remember
• 3:19
  opening
• 3:20
  that
• 3:20
  present
• 3:20
  on,
• 3:20
  on
• 3:20
  Christmas
• 3:21
  and
• 3:21
  just
• 3:21
  being
• 3:21
  so
• 3:22
  elated
• 3:22
  that
• 3:22
  I
• 3:23
  took
• 3:23
  it
• 3:23
  out
• 3:23
  into
• 3:23
  the
• 3:23
  snow
• 3:24
  and
• 3:24
  casted
• 3:24
  for
• 3:24
  a
• 3:25
  few
• 3:25
  hours
• 3:25
  I
• 3:25
  think,
• 3:25
  until
• 3:25
  I,
• 3:26
  I
• 3:26
  couldn't
• 3:26
  feel
• 3:27
  my
• 3:27
  hands.
• 3:27
  But
• 3:28
  yeah,
• 3:28
  it
• 3:29
  was
• 3:29
  around
• 3:29
  10
• 3:29
  or
• 3:29
  11.
• 3:30
  Somewhere
• 3:30
  around
• 3:30
  there
• 3:31
  is
• 3:31
  super
• 3:31
  neat.
• 3:32
  And
• 3:32
  we
• 3:32
  were
• 3:32
  commiserating
• 3:33
  about
• 3:33
  travel
• 3:34
  schedules
• 3:34
  and
• 3:34
  I
• 3:34
  know
• 3:34
  you
• 3:35
  were
• 3:35
  at
• 3:35
  iCast,
• 3:35
  but
• 3:36
  I
• 3:36
  suspect
• 3:36
  you
• 3:37
  probably
• 3:37
  got
• 3:37
  some
• 3:38
  recent
• 3:38
  fishing
• 3:38
  adventures
• 3:39
  you
• 3:39
  could
• 3:39
  share
• 3:39
  with
• 3:39
  our
• 3:40
  listeners.
• 3:41
  I
• 3:41
  do,
• 3:41
  yeah.
• 3:42
  I
• 3:42
  fished
• 3:42
  a
• 3:42
  bit
• 3:42
  after
• 3:42
  ICAST
• 3:43
  in
• 3:43
  Biscayne
• 3:44
  Bay.
• 3:45
  Mostly
• 3:45
  targeting
• 3:46
  permit,
• 3:46
  unfortunately
• 3:47
  did
• 3:47
  not
• 3:47
  hook
• 3:47
  any,
• 3:48
  but
• 3:49
  I
• 3:49
  saw
• 3:49
  a
• 3:49
  bunch
• 3:49
  of
• 3:49
  fish
• 3:49
  and
• 3:50
  it
• 3:50
  was
• 3:50
  really
• 3:50
  cool
• 3:50
  fishery.
• 3:51
  It
• 3:51
  was
• 3:51
  the
• 3:51
  first
• 3:51
  time
• 3:51
  I'd
• 3:52
  been
• 3:52
  down
• 3:52
  there.
• 3:53
  And
• 3:53
  then
• 3:53
  just
• 3:54
  prior
• 3:54
  to
• 3:54
  that
• 3:54
  I
• 3:54
  was
• 3:55
  back
• 3:55
  out
• 3:55
  in
• 3:56
  my
• 3:56
  hometown
• 3:56
  celebrating
• 3:57
  my
• 3:57
  dad's
• 3:57
  birthday
• 3:58
  and
• 3:58
  did
• 3:58
  a
• 3:58
  bit
• 3:59
  of
• 3:59
  fishing
• 3:59
  with
• 3:59
  my,
• 3:59
  my
• 4:00
  brother
• 4:00
  and
• 4:00
  my
• 4:01
  nephew
• 4:02
  and
• 4:02
  cousin.
• 4:04
  Very,
• 4:04
  very
• 4:05
  neat.
• 4:05
  What
• 4:05
  are,
• 4:05
  what's
• 4:06
  your
• 4:06
  favorite
• 4:06
  water
• 4:07
  in
• 4:07
  your
• 4:07
  home
• 4:07
  state?
• 4:09
  Home
• 4:09
  state
• 4:10
  now
• 4:10
  or
• 4:10
  my
• 4:10
  original
• 4:11
  home
• 4:11
  state?
• 4:11
  Your
• 4:11
  original
• 4:12
  home
• 4:12
  state.
• 4:13
  Original
• 4:13
  home
• 4:13
  state.
• 4:16
  That's
• 4:16
  a
• 4:16
  tough
• 4:17
  one.
• 4:19
  So
• 4:19
  I
• 4:19
  grew
• 4:20
  up
• 4:20
  in
• 4:20
  the
• 4:20
  Coeur
• 4:20
  d'
• 4:20
  Alene
• 4:20
  area
• 4:21
  and
• 4:21
  I
• 4:21
  would
• 4:21
  have
• 4:21
  to
• 4:21
  say
• 4:21
  probably
• 4:22
  the
• 4:22
  St.
• 4:22
  Joe
• 4:22
  River.
• 4:23
  It
• 4:23
  was
• 4:23
  about
• 4:24
  an
• 4:24
  hour
• 4:24
  south.
• 4:24
  It
• 4:25
  is
• 4:25
  about
• 4:25
  an
• 4:25
  hour
• 4:25
  south
• 4:26
  and
• 4:26
  it's
• 4:26
  pretty
• 4:27
  much
• 4:27
  all
• 4:27
  cutthroat
• 4:28
  trout.
• 4:28
  But
• 4:28
  that's
• 4:28
  kind
• 4:29
  of
• 4:29
  where
• 4:29
  I,
• 4:29
  where
• 4:29
  I
• 4:29
  cut
• 4:29
  my
• 4:30
  teeth
• 4:30
  and
• 4:30
  you
• 4:31
  know,
• 4:31
  learned
• 4:31
  most
• 4:32
  of
• 4:32
  the
• 4:32
  techniques
• 4:33
  that
• 4:33
  I
• 4:34
  started
• 4:34
  with
• 4:34
  down
• 4:35
  there.
• 4:35
  At
• 4:35
  least
• 4:35
  as
• 4:35
  far
• 4:35
  as
• 4:36
  dry
• 4:36
  fly
• 4:36
  fishing
• 4:36
  and
• 4:37
  streamer
• 4:37
  fishing
• 4:37
  and
• 4:38
  fishing
• 4:38
  goes
• 4:39
  very
• 4:40
  neat.
• 4:40
  And
• 4:40
  so,
• 4:40
  you
• 4:41
  know,
• 4:41
  how
• 4:41
  does
• 4:41
  a
• 4:41
  guy
• 4:41
  that
• 4:42
  grew
• 4:42
  up
• 4:42
  in
• 4:42
  Idaho
• 4:43
  with
• 4:43
  all
• 4:43
  this
• 4:43
  great
• 4:43
  trout
• 4:44
  fishing
• 4:44
  find
• 4:44
  his
• 4:44
  way
• 4:45
  to
• 4:45
  sa.
• 4:46
  That's
• 4:47
  A
• 4:47
  great
• 4:47
  question.
• 4:48
  It
• 4:48
  wasn't
• 4:48
  necessarily
• 4:49
  an
• 4:49
  easy
• 4:49
  path.
• 4:50
  So
• 4:51
  I,
• 4:51
  my
• 4:51
  undergraduate
• 4:52
  degree
• 4:52
  is
• 4:52
  in
• 4:53
  mechanical
• 4:53
  engineering.
• 4:54
  And
• 4:54
  I
• 4:54
  went
• 4:54
  and
• 4:54
  got
• 4:54
  my
• 4:54
  undergraduate
• 4:55
  degree
• 4:55
  at
• 4:55
  the
• 4:56
  University
• 4:56
  of
• 4:56
  Idaho,
• 4:57
  which
• 4:57
  was
• 4:58
  just
• 4:58
  a
• 4:58
  little
• 4:58
  further
• 4:58
  south
• 4:59
  than
• 4:59
  where
• 4:59
  I
• 4:59
  grew
• 4:59
  up,
• 5:00
  actually
• 5:00
  fairly
• 5:01
  close
• 5:01
  to
• 5:01
  the
• 5:01
  St.
• 5:02
  Joe
• 5:02
  River.
• 5:03
  And
• 5:03
  I
• 5:04
  had
• 5:04
  a
• 5:04
  great
• 5:04
  opportunity
• 5:05
  in
• 5:05
  the
• 5:06
  course
• 5:06
  of
• 5:06
  going
• 5:06
  to
• 5:06
  school
• 5:07
  there
• 5:07
  to
• 5:07
  intern
• 5:08
  at
• 5:08
  a
• 5:08
  electronics
• 5:09
  company.
• 5:10
  I
• 5:10
  did
• 5:10
  two
• 5:11
  summers
• 5:11
  there
• 5:12
  and
• 5:12
  I,
• 5:13
  at
• 5:13
  the
• 5:13
  end
• 5:13
  of
• 5:13
  that,
• 5:14
  it
• 5:14
  was
• 5:14
  a
• 5:14
  great
• 5:14
  company.
• 5:15
  I
• 5:15
  loved
• 5:15
  everybody
• 5:15
  that
• 5:15
  I
• 5:16
  worked
• 5:16
  with,
• 5:16
  but
• 5:17
  my,
• 5:17
  my
• 5:18
  heart
• 5:18
  wasn't
• 5:18
  necessarily
• 5:19
  in
• 5:19
  it.
• 5:20
  And
• 5:21
  I
• 5:21
  came
• 5:21
  away
• 5:21
  at
• 5:21
  the
• 5:22
  last
• 5:22
  summer
• 5:22
  realizing
• 5:23
  that,
• 5:23
  you
• 5:23
  know,
• 5:24
  it's
• 5:24
  kind
• 5:24
  of
• 5:24
  now
• 5:24
  or
• 5:24
  never
• 5:25
  to
• 5:25
  try
• 5:25
  to
• 5:25
  make
• 5:26
  something
• 5:27
  happen
• 5:27
  if
• 5:27
  I
• 5:28
  want
• 5:28
  it
• 5:28
  to
• 5:28
  happen.
• 5:29
  And,
• 5:29
  and
• 5:29
  I
• 5:30
  chose
• 5:30
  to
• 5:30
  go
• 5:30
  back
• 5:31
  to
• 5:31
  school.
• 5:31
  I
• 5:32
  went
• 5:32
  to
• 5:32
  grad
• 5:32
  school
• 5:32
  in
• 5:33
  Pittsburgh,
• 5:33
  actually
• 5:34
  did
• 5:34
  a
• 5:34
  one
• 5:35
  year
• 5:35
  program
• 5:35
  there
• 5:36
  in
• 5:36
  product
• 5:36
  development.
• 5:37
  And
• 5:38
  about
• 5:38
  halfway
• 5:39
  through
• 5:39
  that
• 5:39
  program
• 5:39
  I
• 5:40
  started
• 5:40
  reaching
• 5:40
  out
• 5:40
  to
• 5:41
  companies
• 5:41
  to
• 5:41
  try
• 5:41
  to
• 5:41
  figure
• 5:42
  out
• 5:42
  something
• 5:42
  after
• 5:42
  graduation.
• 5:44
  And
• 5:44
  one
• 5:44
  of
• 5:44
  them
• 5:44
  happened
• 5:45
  to
• 5:45
  be
• 5:45
  Orvis.
• 5:46
  They
• 5:46
  had
• 5:46
  a
• 5:46
  position
• 5:46
  open
• 5:47
  for
• 5:48
  a
• 5:48
  real
• 5:48
  designer
• 5:49
  at
• 5:49
  the
• 5:49
  time.
• 5:50
  And
• 5:50
  I
• 5:51
  applied
• 5:51
  and
• 5:52
  they
• 5:52
  eventually
• 5:52
  lost
• 5:53
  funding
• 5:53
  for
• 5:53
  the
• 5:53
  position
• 5:53
  and
• 5:54
  didn't
• 5:54
  actually
• 5:54
  staff
• 5:54
  it,
• 5:55
  but
• 5:55
  I
• 5:55
  had
• 5:55
  made
• 5:56
  a
• 5:56
  connection
• 5:56
  there
• 5:56
  and
• 5:57
  I
• 5:57
  graduated.
• 5:58
  And
• 5:59
  I'm
• 5:59
  not
• 6:00
  proud,
• 6:00
  too
• 6:00
  proud
• 6:01
  to
• 6:01
  say
• 6:01
  it,
• 6:01
  but
• 6:01
  I'm
• 6:02
  not
• 6:02
  proud
• 6:02
  enough
• 6:03
  to
• 6:03
  not
• 6:03
  say
• 6:03
  it
• 6:03
  on
• 6:04
  a
• 6:04
  podcast.
• 6:04
  I
• 6:04
  moved
• 6:04
  back
• 6:05
  in
• 6:05
  with
• 6:05
  my
• 6:05
  folks
• 6:05
  for
• 6:05
  a
• 6:06
  few
• 6:06
  months
• 6:07
  and
• 6:07
  told
• 6:08
  myself
• 6:08
  I
• 6:08
  was
• 6:08
  going
• 6:08
  to
• 6:09
  give
• 6:09
  it
• 6:09
  a
• 6:09
  six
• 6:10
  months
• 6:10
  and
• 6:11
  was
• 6:11
  going
• 6:11
  to
• 6:11
  try
• 6:12
  really
• 6:12
  hard
• 6:12
  to
• 6:12
  find
• 6:12
  a
• 6:12
  job
• 6:13
  in
• 6:13
  a
• 6:13
  passion
• 6:13
  industry.
• 6:14
  And
• 6:15
  if
• 6:15
  after
• 6:15
  six
• 6:15
  months
• 6:16
  I
• 6:16
  didn't
• 6:16
  find
• 6:16
  anything,
• 6:16
  then
• 6:17
  I
• 6:17
  was
• 6:17
  going
• 6:17
  to
• 6:17
  kind
• 6:17
  of
• 6:17
  relent
• 6:18
  and
• 6:18
  figure
• 6:19
  out
• 6:19
  something
• 6:19
  else
• 6:20
  just
• 6:20
  to
• 6:20
  start
• 6:20
  getting
• 6:21
  money
• 6:21
  coming
• 6:21
  in
• 6:21
  and
• 6:22
  move
• 6:22
  out
• 6:22
  of
• 6:22
  my
• 6:22
  folks
• 6:22
  place.
• 6:23
  So
• 6:24
  I
• 6:24
  think
• 6:24
  it
• 6:24
  was
• 6:24
  maybe,
• 6:26
  it
• 6:26
  was
• 6:26
  probably
• 6:27
  pretty
• 6:27
  close
• 6:27
  to
• 6:27
  the
• 6:27
  end
• 6:28
  of
• 6:28
  six
• 6:28
  months,
• 6:28
  maybe
• 6:28
  month
• 6:29
  four
• 6:29
  or
• 6:29
  five,
• 6:30
  another
• 6:31
  position
• 6:31
  at
• 6:31
  Orvis
• 6:32
  came
• 6:32
  up
• 6:32
  and
• 6:32
  this
• 6:32
  one
• 6:32
  was
• 6:33
  for
• 6:33
  a
• 6:34
  fly
• 6:34
  tying
• 6:35
  material
• 6:35
  buyer.
• 6:36
  So
• 6:37
  the
• 6:37
  position
• 6:37
  was
• 6:37
  basically
• 6:38
  responsible
• 6:38
  for
• 6:39
  sourcing
• 6:39
  fly
• 6:40
  tying
• 6:40
  materials
• 6:40
  that
• 6:40
  Orvis
• 6:41
  sells.
• 6:41
  And
• 6:42
  reached
• 6:42
  out
• 6:42
  to
• 6:42
  my
• 6:43
  contact
• 6:43
  at
• 6:43
  Orvis,
• 6:44
  Sean
• 6:44
  Combs,
• 6:44
  and,
• 6:45
  and
• 6:46
  submitted
• 6:46
  my
• 6:46
  application
• 6:47
  and
• 6:48
  he
• 6:48
  called
• 6:48
  me
• 6:48
  and
• 6:48
  he
• 6:48
  was
• 6:49
  like,
• 6:49
  hey,
• 6:49
  to
• 6:49
  be
• 6:49
  honest,
• 6:50
  the
• 6:50
  post,
• 6:50
  the
• 6:50
  posting's
• 6:51
  still
• 6:51
  up.
• 6:51
  It
• 6:51
  wasn't
• 6:52
  really
• 6:52
  supposed
• 6:52
  to
• 6:52
  be.
• 6:52
  We,
• 6:53
  we
• 6:53
  already
• 6:53
  filled
• 6:53
  the
• 6:54
  position,
• 6:54
  but
• 6:55
  we,
• 6:55
  I
• 6:55
  don't
• 6:55
  know
• 6:55
  if
• 6:56
  you've
• 6:56
  seen
• 6:56
  it,
• 6:56
  we
• 6:56
  have
• 6:56
  an
• 6:56
  opening
• 6:57
  at
• 6:57
  our
• 6:57
  sister
• 6:57
  company,
• 6:58
  Scientific
• 6:58
  Anglers,
• 6:58
  that
• 6:59
  I
• 6:59
  think
• 6:59
  you'd
• 6:59
  be
• 6:59
  well
• 6:59
  qualified,
• 7:00
  qualified
• 7:00
  for
• 7:01
  and
• 7:02
  reached
• 7:02
  out
• 7:02
  to
• 7:02
  Scientific
• 7:03
  Anglers
• 7:03
  who
• 7:03
  at
• 7:04
  the
• 7:04
  time
• 7:04
  was
• 7:04
  being
• 7:04
  run
• 7:05
  by
• 7:05
  Jim
• 7:05
  LePage
• 7:06
  and
• 7:06
  interviewed
• 7:07
  there
• 7:07
  and
• 7:08
  got
• 7:08
  the
• 7:08
  job
• 7:09
  and
• 7:09
  the
• 7:09
  rest
• 7:09
  is
• 7:09
  history.
• 7:10
  Yeah,
• 7:11
  that's
• 7:11
  very
• 7:11
  cool.
• 7:11
  So
• 7:12
  Puffy
• 7:12
  hooked
• 7:12
  you
• 7:12
  up.
• 7:13
  He
• 7:13
  did,
• 7:14
  yeah.
• 7:14
  Yeah.
• 7:14
  He's
• 7:14
  still
• 7:15
  a
• 7:15
  great
• 7:15
  friend.
• 7:15
  Actually.
• 7:15
  I
• 7:15
  was.
• 7:16
  He
• 7:16
  was.
• 7:16
  Who
• 7:16
  was.
• 7:16
  I
• 7:17
  was
• 7:17
  fishing
• 7:17
  with
• 7:17
  in
• 7:17
  Biscayne
• 7:18
  after
• 7:18
  I
• 7:18
  cast.
• 7:20
  Very
• 7:20
  cool.
• 7:20
  So,
• 7:21
  you
• 7:21
  know,
• 7:21
  for
• 7:21
  folks
• 7:21
  that
• 7:21
  don't
• 7:22
  know,
• 7:22
  you
• 7:22
  landed
• 7:22
  at
• 7:22
  Scientific
• 7:23
  Anglers
• 7:23
  and
• 7:24
  you're
• 7:24
  the
• 7:24
  R
• 7:24
  and
• 7:25
  D
• 7:25
  manager.
• 7:25
  And
• 7:26
  can
• 7:26
  you
• 7:26
  kind
• 7:26
  of
• 7:26
  give
• 7:26
  our
• 7:27
  listeners
• 7:27
  kind
• 7:27
  of
• 7:27
  a
• 7:27
  feel
• 7:28
  for
• 7:28
  kind
• 7:28
  of
• 7:28
  what
• 7:28
  that
• 7:29
  involves?
• 7:30
  Yeah.
• 7:31
  So
• 7:31
  Essay
• 7:32
  is
• 7:32
  a
• 7:32
  real
• 7:32
  small
• 7:33
  company.
• 7:33
  In
• 7:33
  total,
• 7:34
  I
• 7:34
  think
• 7:34
  we
• 7:34
  have,
• 7:35
  we
• 7:35
  hover
• 7:35
  around
• 7:36
  40
• 7:36
  employees
• 7:38
  and
• 7:38
  a
• 7:38
  bulk
• 7:39
  majority
• 7:39
  of
• 7:39
  that
• 7:39
  is
• 7:40
  production.
• 7:40
  So
• 7:40
  all
• 7:40
  the
• 7:41
  file
• 7:41
  lines
• 7:41
  that
• 7:41
  we
• 7:41
  make
• 7:42
  under
• 7:42
  the
• 7:42
  SA
• 7:43
  brand
• 7:43
  and
• 7:43
  the
• 7:44
  ones
• 7:44
  that
• 7:44
  we
• 7:44
  private
• 7:44
  label
• 7:45
  are
• 7:45
  all
• 7:45
  produced
• 7:46
  in
• 7:46
  Michigan
• 7:46
  where
• 7:47
  our
• 7:47
  headquarters
• 7:47
  are.
• 7:48
  So
• 7:49
  I
• 7:49
  would
• 7:49
  say,
• 7:50
  you
• 7:50
  know,
• 7:50
  maybe
• 7:51
  30
• 7:51
  or
• 7:52
  high
• 7:52
  20s
• 7:52
  out
• 7:53
  of
• 7:53
  that
• 7:53
  total
• 7:53
  40
• 7:54
  number
• 7:54
  is
• 7:54
  production.
• 7:55
  And
• 7:55
  then
• 7:56
  the
• 7:56
  sort
• 7:56
  of
• 7:57
  the
• 7:57
  quote
• 7:57
  unquote
• 7:57
  front
• 7:58
  front
• 7:58
  office
• 7:58
  is
• 7:59
  managers.
• 8:00
  So
• 8:01
  I'm
• 8:01
  the
• 8:01
  only
• 8:01
  engineer
• 8:02
  in
• 8:02
  the
• 8:02
  building.
• 8:02
  I
• 8:03
  get.
• 8:03
  Get
• 8:03
  my
• 8:03
  fingers
• 8:04
  into
• 8:04
  a
• 8:04
  lot
• 8:04
  of
• 8:04
  different
• 8:04
  things,
• 8:05
  but
• 8:05
  my
• 8:05
  main
• 8:05
  responsibility
• 8:06
  is
• 8:06
  developing
• 8:07
  new
• 8:07
  products,
• 8:08
  which
• 8:08
  of
• 8:09
  course
• 8:09
  mostly
• 8:09
  is
• 8:09
  fly
• 8:10
  lines.
• 8:10
  So
• 8:10
  working
• 8:10
  on
• 8:11
  fly
• 8:11
  line
• 8:11
  tapers
• 8:12
  and
• 8:12
  technology.
• 8:13
  And
• 8:13
  then
• 8:13
  I
• 8:13
  also
• 8:14
  get
• 8:14
  pretty
• 8:14
  heavily
• 8:14
  involved
• 8:15
  in
• 8:15
  the
• 8:15
  production
• 8:16
  equipment
• 8:17
  that
• 8:17
  we
• 8:17
  use
• 8:17
  to
• 8:17
  produce
• 8:18
  fly
• 8:18
  lines.
• 8:18
  Optimizing
• 8:19
  it,
• 8:19
  fixing
• 8:20
  it,
• 8:21
  changing
• 8:21
  processes
• 8:22
  to.
• 8:22
  To
• 8:22
  try
• 8:22
  to
• 8:23
  make
• 8:23
  better
• 8:23
  product
• 8:23
  or
• 8:24
  make
• 8:24
  product
• 8:24
  faster.
• 8:25
  But
• 8:25
  it's,
• 8:26
  it's
• 8:26
  pretty
• 8:26
  much
• 8:26
  those
• 8:27
  two
• 8:27
  zones.
• 8:27
  It's
• 8:28
  product
• 8:28
  development
• 8:28
  on
• 8:29
  one
• 8:29
  half
• 8:29
  and
• 8:30
  then,
• 8:31
  you
• 8:31
  know,
• 8:31
  involvement
• 8:32
  in
• 8:32
  designing
• 8:32
  or
• 8:33
  implementing
• 8:34
  new
• 8:34
  processes
• 8:35
  or
• 8:35
  improving
• 8:36
  equipment
• 8:36
  for
• 8:36
  manufacturing.
• 8:38
  Very
• 8:38
  cool.
• 8:38
  I
• 8:38
  imagine
• 8:39
  there's
• 8:39
  probably
• 8:39
  a
• 8:39
  quality
• 8:40
  control
• 8:40
  component
• 8:41
  in
• 8:41
  there
• 8:41
  too.
• 8:41
  Sampling
• 8:42
  and
• 8:42
  doing
• 8:42
  stuff
• 8:42
  like
• 8:43
  that.
• 8:43
  There
• 8:44
  is,
• 8:44
  yeah.
• 8:44
  Thankfully
• 8:45
  we
• 8:45
  have.
• 8:45
  I
• 8:45
  have
• 8:45
  some
• 8:45
  help
• 8:46
  on
• 8:46
  the
• 8:46
  quality
• 8:46
  control
• 8:46
  side.
• 8:47
  So
• 8:48
  I'm
• 8:48
  not
• 8:48
  solely
• 8:49
  responsible
• 8:49
  for
• 8:49
  quality
• 8:50
  control,
• 8:51
  which
• 8:51
  is
• 8:51
  probably
• 8:52
  for
• 8:52
  the
• 8:52
  best
• 8:52
  to
• 8:52
  have
• 8:52
  at
• 8:53
  least
• 8:53
  two
• 8:53
  people
• 8:53
  checking
• 8:54
  in
• 8:54
  on
• 8:54
  the
• 8:54
  way
• 8:54
  out.
• 8:55
  But
• 8:55
  yeah,
• 8:56
  a
• 8:56
  little
• 8:56
  bit
• 8:56
  of
• 8:56
  quality
• 8:56
  control
• 8:57
  as
• 8:57
  well.
• 8:58
  Very
• 8:58
  neat.
• 8:58
  And
• 8:58
  so,
• 8:59
  you
• 8:59
  know,
• 8:59
  I
• 8:59
  know
• 8:59
  you
• 8:59
  guys
• 9:00
  are
• 9:00
  like
• 9:00
  super
• 9:01
  duper
• 9:01
  secretive
• 9:01
  about
• 9:02
  your
• 9:02
  manufacturing
• 9:03
  process.
• 9:04
  Yeah.
• 9:04
  Because
• 9:05
  I've
• 9:05
  like,
• 9:05
  you
• 9:05
  know,
• 9:06
  talked
• 9:06
  to
• 9:06
  like
• 9:06
  Brad
• 9:06
  or
• 9:07
  Joe
• 9:07
  and
• 9:07
  they're
• 9:07
  like,
• 9:07
  you
• 9:07
  can
• 9:07
  come
• 9:08
  to
• 9:08
  Michigan
• 9:08
  and
• 9:08
  visit,
• 9:09
  but
• 9:09
  you'll
• 9:09
  never
• 9:10
  see
• 9:10
  the
• 9:10
  production
• 9:10
  floor.
• 9:11
  Yeah.
• 9:13
  But
• 9:13
  you
• 9:13
  know,
• 9:14
  for,
• 9:14
  for
• 9:14
  folks
• 9:14
  that,
• 9:15
  you
• 9:15
  know,
• 9:15
  have
• 9:15
  like
• 9:16
  no
• 9:16
  clue
• 9:16
  what
• 9:16
  it
• 9:17
  goes
• 9:17
  into
• 9:17
  making
• 9:17
  a
• 9:17
  fly
• 9:18
  line.
• 9:18
  Can
• 9:18
  you
• 9:18
  kind
• 9:18
  of
• 9:19
  give
• 9:19
  us,
• 9:19
  I
• 9:19
  don't
• 9:19
  know,
• 9:19
  I'd
• 9:19
  like
• 9:20
  better
• 9:20
  than
• 9:20
  a
• 9:20
  30,000
• 9:21
  foot
• 9:21
  view.
• 9:21
  Can
• 9:21
  you
• 9:21
  give
• 9:21
  us
• 9:22
  maybe
• 9:22
  the
• 9:22
  10,000
• 9:22
  foot
• 9:23
  view?
• 9:24
  Sure.
• 9:25
  So
• 9:25
  every
• 9:25
  fly
• 9:26
  line
• 9:26
  that
• 9:26
  I'm
• 9:27
  aware
• 9:27
  of,
• 9:28
  made
• 9:28
  by
• 9:28
  us
• 9:28
  or
• 9:28
  otherwise,
• 9:29
  starts
• 9:29
  with
• 9:29
  a
• 9:29
  core.
• 9:30
  And
• 9:30
  the
• 9:30
  core
• 9:31
  is
• 9:31
  essentially
• 9:31
  the
• 9:32
  tensile
• 9:32
  member.
• 9:32
  Tensile
• 9:33
  member
• 9:33
  at
• 9:33
  the
• 9:34
  center
• 9:34
  of
• 9:34
  the
• 9:34
  fly
• 9:35
  line,
• 9:35
  that
• 9:35
  gives
• 9:35
  it
• 9:36
  strength.
• 9:37
  So
• 9:37
  the
• 9:37
  part
• 9:37
  of
• 9:38
  the
• 9:38
  line
• 9:38
  that
• 9:38
  you
• 9:39
  feel
• 9:39
  that
• 9:39
  you
• 9:39
  interact
• 9:40
  with
• 9:40
  is
• 9:40
  the
• 9:40
  coating,
• 9:41
  and
• 9:42
  it's
• 9:42
  not
• 9:43
  actually
• 9:43
  very
• 9:43
  strong
• 9:43
  on
• 9:44
  its
• 9:44
  own.
• 9:44
  So
• 9:45
  we
• 9:45
  have
• 9:45
  to
• 9:45
  run
• 9:45
  a
• 9:45
  core
• 9:46
  member
• 9:46
  up
• 9:46
  the
• 9:46
  center
• 9:46
  of
• 9:47
  the
• 9:47
  fly
• 9:47
  line
• 9:47
  to
• 9:47
  make
• 9:47
  sure
• 9:48
  it'll
• 9:48
  handle
• 9:49
  the
• 9:49
  pressure
• 9:49
  of
• 9:49
  whatever
• 9:50
  fish
• 9:50
  you're
• 9:50
  targeting.
• 9:51
  So
• 9:51
  you
• 9:51
  start
• 9:52
  with
• 9:52
  the
• 9:52
  core.
• 9:52
  It's
• 9:53
  level.
• 9:53
  There's
• 9:53
  no
• 9:53
  taper
• 9:54
  to
• 9:54
  the
• 9:54
  core.
• 9:55
  And
• 9:55
  we
• 9:55
  have
• 9:55
  a
• 9:55
  couple
• 9:56
  different
• 9:56
  varieties.
• 9:57
  There's
• 9:57
  a
• 9:57
  few
• 9:57
  different
• 9:58
  styles
• 9:58
  of
• 9:59
  braid
• 10:00
  we'll
• 10:00
  use
• 10:00
  occasionally
• 10:01
  monofilament
• 10:02
  as
• 10:02
  well,
• 10:02
  which
• 10:02
  is
• 10:03
  essentially
• 10:03
  just
• 10:03
  like
• 10:03
  tippet,
• 10:04
  just
• 10:04
  a
• 10:05
  little
• 10:05
  bit
• 10:05
  heavier.
• 10:06
  And
• 10:06
  we
• 10:06
  take
• 10:07
  that
• 10:07
  braid
• 10:07
  and
• 10:07
  we
• 10:08
  coat
• 10:08
  it
• 10:08
  with
• 10:08
  a
• 10:08
  primer.
• 10:09
  So
• 10:09
  the.
• 10:10
  The
• 10:10
  braid
• 10:10
  that
• 10:10
  we
• 10:11
  use
• 10:11
  is
• 10:11
  not
• 10:12
  inherently
• 10:12
  very
• 10:13
  sticky
• 10:13
  or
• 10:14
  it's
• 10:14
  hard
• 10:14
  to
• 10:14
  get
• 10:14
  things
• 10:15
  to
• 10:15
  stick
• 10:15
  to
• 10:15
  it.
• 10:16
  So.
• 10:16
  So
• 10:16
  in
• 10:16
  between
• 10:17
  the
• 10:18
  core
• 10:18
  and
• 10:19
  the
• 10:19
  coating,
• 10:19
  you
• 10:20
  have
• 10:20
  to
• 10:20
  put
• 10:20
  a
• 10:20
  tie
• 10:21
  layer
• 10:21
  or
• 10:21
  primer
• 10:22
  layer
• 10:22
  to
• 10:22
  get
• 10:22
  those
• 10:22
  two
• 10:23
  to
• 10:23
  stick
• 10:23
  together.
• 10:23
  And
• 10:24
  that's
• 10:24
  actually
• 10:24
  sort
• 10:25
  of
• 10:25
  one
• 10:25
  of
• 10:25
  the
• 10:25
  most
• 10:26
  critical
• 10:26
  aspects
• 10:26
  of
• 10:26
  making
• 10:27
  a
• 10:27
  durable
• 10:27
  fly
• 10:27
  line
• 10:28
  is
• 10:28
  making
• 10:28
  sure
• 10:28
  those
• 10:28
  two
• 10:29
  components
• 10:29
  stick
• 10:29
  together.
• 10:30
  So
• 10:30
  we
• 10:30
  take
• 10:30
  that
• 10:31
  core,
• 10:31
  coat
• 10:31
  it
• 10:31
  with
• 10:31
  a
• 10:31
  primer,
• 10:32
  we
• 10:32
  dry
• 10:33
  the
• 10:33
  primer,
• 10:34
  and
• 10:34
  then
• 10:34
  over
• 10:34
  top
• 10:35
  of
• 10:35
  the
• 10:35
  primed
• 10:35
  core,
• 10:36
  we
• 10:36
  apply
• 10:36
  the
• 10:36
  coating,
• 10:37
  which
• 10:37
  is
• 10:37
  the
• 10:37
  piece
• 10:38
  of
• 10:38
  the
• 10:38
  fly
• 10:38
  line
• 10:38
  that
• 10:39
  you
• 10:39
  see,
• 10:39
  and
• 10:39
  that
• 10:40
  is
• 10:40
  actually
• 10:40
  tapered.
• 10:41
  So
• 10:42
  we'll
• 10:42
  run
• 10:42
  it
• 10:42
  through
• 10:42
  a
• 10:42
  die.
• 10:43
  And
• 10:44
  in
• 10:44
  the
• 10:44
  die,
• 10:44
  we
• 10:45
  have
• 10:45
  control
• 10:45
  over
• 10:46
  various
• 10:47
  feeds.
• 10:47
  So
• 10:47
  we
• 10:48
  can
• 10:48
  feed
• 10:48
  in
• 10:48
  different
• 10:48
  colors
• 10:49
  or
• 10:49
  we
• 10:49
  can
• 10:50
  feed
• 10:50
  in
• 10:50
  different
• 10:50
  densities
• 10:51
  along
• 10:51
  the
• 10:51
  length
• 10:52
  of
• 10:52
  the
• 10:52
  line.
• 10:53
  And
• 10:54
  you
• 10:54
  basically
• 10:54
  apply
• 10:55
  that
• 10:55
  as
• 10:55
  a
• 10:55
  liquid.
• 10:56
  It
• 10:56
  goes
• 10:56
  through
• 10:57
  an
• 10:57
  oven,
• 10:57
  the
• 10:58
  plastic
• 10:58
  cures,
• 10:59
  and
• 10:59
  then
• 10:59
  it
• 10:59
  comes
• 11:00
  out
• 11:00
  the
• 11:00
  other
• 11:00
  end.
• 11:01
  And
• 11:01
  then
• 11:01
  it
• 11:01
  goes
• 11:02
  into
• 11:02
  post
• 11:02
  processing,
• 11:03
  which
• 11:03
  is
• 11:03
  where
• 11:03
  we'll
• 11:04
  add
• 11:04
  things
• 11:05
  like
• 11:05
  the
• 11:05
  printed
• 11:06
  ID
• 11:06
  on
• 11:07
  the
• 11:07
  front
• 11:07
  of
• 11:07
  the
• 11:07
  line,
• 11:08
  welded
• 11:09
  loops,
• 11:09
  and
• 11:09
  then
• 11:10
  it'll
• 11:10
  go
• 11:10
  into
• 11:10
  packaging,
• 11:11
  and
• 11:11
  eventually
• 11:12
  in
• 11:12
  the
• 11:12
  warehouse
• 11:12
  and
• 11:12
  out
• 11:13
  the
• 11:13
  door.
• 11:14
  Very,
• 11:14
  very
• 11:15
  neat.
• 11:15
  Yeah,
• 11:15
  that's.
• 11:16
  It's
• 11:16
  kind
• 11:16
  of
• 11:17
  amazing.
• 11:17
  And
• 11:17
  so
• 11:17
  do
• 11:17
  you.
• 11:18
  Are
• 11:18
  you
• 11:18
  able
• 11:18
  to
• 11:18
  actually
• 11:18
  extrude
• 11:19
  like.
• 11:20
  Like
• 11:20
  a
• 11:20
  long.
• 11:21
  Like
• 11:21
  a
• 11:21
  long
• 11:22
  length
• 11:22
  of
• 11:22
  core
• 11:22
  with
• 11:23
  multiple
• 11:23
  lines
• 11:23
  and
• 11:23
  they
• 11:24
  get
• 11:24
  cut?
• 11:24
  Or
• 11:24
  is
• 11:24
  it
• 11:24
  kind
• 11:24
  of
• 11:25
  one
• 11:25
  line
• 11:25
  at
• 11:25
  a
• 11:25
  time?
• 11:26
  Yeah,
• 11:27
  no,
• 11:27
  it's
• 11:27
  basically
• 11:28
  end
• 11:28
  to
• 11:28
  end.
• 11:29
  I
• 11:29
  think
• 11:29
  our
• 11:29
  core
• 11:29
  spools
• 11:30
  are
• 11:30
  something
• 11:31
  like
• 11:31
  5,000
• 11:32
  meters
• 11:32
  in
• 11:33
  length,
• 11:33
  which
• 11:33
  I
• 11:34
  probably
• 11:34
  can't
• 11:34
  really
• 11:34
  do
• 11:35
  the
• 11:35
  math
• 11:35
  right
• 11:35
  now,
• 11:35
  but
• 11:36
  typically
• 11:36
  in
• 11:37
  a.
• 11:37
  In
• 11:37
  a
• 11:37
  run
• 11:37
  of
• 11:38
  fly
• 11:38
  lines,
• 11:38
  we'll
• 11:38
  run
• 11:39
  a
• 11:40
  minimum
• 11:40
  of
• 11:40
  a
• 11:40
  hundred
• 11:41
  and
• 11:42
  upwards
• 11:42
  of
• 11:42
  500
• 11:43
  in
• 11:43
  one
• 11:43
  run.
• 11:44
  So
• 11:44
  it's.
• 11:45
  They're.
• 11:45
  They're
• 11:45
  ran
• 11:45
  back
• 11:46
  to
• 11:46
  back,
• 11:46
  and
• 11:46
  then
• 11:46
  the
• 11:47
  machine
• 11:47
  will
• 11:47
  actually
• 11:48
  create
• 11:48
  what
• 11:48
  we
• 11:48
  call
• 11:49
  A
• 11:49
  machine
• 11:49
  bump
• 11:50
  in
• 11:50
  between
• 11:50
  them.
• 11:51
  So
• 11:51
  these
• 11:51
  lines
• 11:52
  are
• 11:52
  coming
• 11:52
  off
• 11:52
  the
• 11:53
  machine.
• 11:53
  There's
• 11:53
  a,
• 11:53
  another
• 11:54
  secondary
• 11:54
  operator
• 11:55
  there
• 11:55
  that's
• 11:55
  coiling
• 11:56
  them
• 11:56
  and
• 11:56
  checking
• 11:57
  them
• 11:57
  for
• 11:57
  defects.
• 11:58
  And
• 11:58
  they're
• 11:58
  running
• 11:58
  the
• 11:58
  whole
• 11:59
  line
• 11:59
  through
• 11:59
  their
• 11:59
  hands
• 12:00
  and
• 12:00
  they'll
• 12:00
  basically,
• 12:00
  you
• 12:01
  know,
• 12:01
  run
• 12:01
  100
• 12:01
  foot
• 12:01
  line
• 12:02
  through
• 12:02
  their
• 12:02
  hands
• 12:02
  and
• 12:02
  they're
• 12:02
  feeling
• 12:03
  for
• 12:03
  this
• 12:03
  bump
• 12:03
  in
• 12:04
  between
• 12:04
  lines.
• 12:05
  They'll
• 12:05
  hit
• 12:05
  the
• 12:05
  bump
• 12:05
  and
• 12:06
  that's
• 12:06
  their
• 12:06
  cue
• 12:06
  to
• 12:06
  know
• 12:07
  where
• 12:07
  to
• 12:07
  cut
• 12:08
  that
• 12:08
  line
• 12:08
  and
• 12:08
  then
• 12:08
  start
• 12:09
  the
• 12:09
  new
• 12:09
  one.
• 12:10
  Very,
• 12:11
  very
• 12:11
  neat.
• 12:11
  And
• 12:11
  do
• 12:11
  I
• 12:11
  remember
• 12:12
  correctly,
• 12:12
  I
• 12:12
  think
• 12:12
  scientific
• 12:13
  anglers
• 12:14
  were,
• 12:14
  you
• 12:14
  know,
• 12:14
  that's
• 12:14
  the
• 12:15
  company
• 12:15
  that
• 12:16
  brought
• 12:16
  PVC
• 12:16
  to
• 12:17
  fly
• 12:17
  lines,
• 12:17
  right?
• 12:19
  I
• 12:20
  believe
• 12:20
  so.
• 12:20
  So
• 12:21
  the
• 12:21
  history
• 12:21
  is
• 12:21
  a
• 12:22
  little
• 12:22
  bit
• 12:22
  muddy.
• 12:23
  There
• 12:23
  may
• 12:24
  have
• 12:24
  been
• 12:24
  one
• 12:24
  company
• 12:24
  that
• 12:25
  beat
• 12:25
  us
• 12:25
  to
• 12:26
  actually
• 12:26
  PVC
• 12:27
  coding,
• 12:28
  applying
• 12:28
  a
• 12:28
  PVC
• 12:29
  coding
• 12:29
  to
• 12:29
  a
• 12:29
  fly
• 12:30
  line.
• 12:30
  But
• 12:31
  if
• 12:31
  that
• 12:31
  is
• 12:32
  true,
• 12:32
  I
• 12:32
  think
• 12:33
  that
• 12:33
  the
• 12:33
  other
• 12:34
  company
• 12:34
  that
• 12:34
  beat
• 12:34
  us
• 12:34
  was
• 12:35
  actually
• 12:35
  doing
• 12:35
  it
• 12:35
  in
• 12:35
  a
• 12:35
  little
• 12:36
  bit
• 12:36
  different.
• 12:37
  Any
• 12:37
  company
• 12:37
  does
• 12:37
  it
• 12:38
  now.
• 12:38
  So
• 12:39
  if
• 12:39
  the
• 12:39
  history
• 12:39
  of
• 12:40
  fly
• 12:40
  lines
• 12:41
  are
• 12:41
  most
• 12:41
  recently
• 12:42
  before
• 12:42
  plastic
• 12:43
  coating
• 12:43
  I
• 12:43
  guess
• 12:44
  was
• 12:44
  silk
• 12:45
  fly
• 12:45
  lines
• 12:46
  and
• 12:46
  they
• 12:46
  were
• 12:46
  braided
• 12:46
  and
• 12:47
  you'd
• 12:47
  have
• 12:47
  to
• 12:47
  treat
• 12:47
  them
• 12:47
  with
• 12:47
  muslin
• 12:48
  to,
• 12:48
  to
• 12:49
  keep
• 12:49
  them
• 12:49
  floating
• 12:49
  and
• 12:49
  you'd
• 12:50
  have
• 12:50
  to
• 12:50
  dry
• 12:50
  them
• 12:50
  so
• 12:50
  they
• 12:51
  didn't
• 12:51
  rot
• 12:51
  or
• 12:51
  whatever.
• 12:52
  And
• 12:52
  the
• 12:52
  way
• 12:52
  they,
• 12:53
  they
• 12:53
  built
• 12:54
  the
• 12:54
  taper
• 12:54
  into
• 12:55
  these
• 12:55
  silk
• 12:56
  fly
• 12:56
  lines
• 12:56
  is
• 12:57
  you
• 12:57
  have
• 12:57
  this
• 12:57
  braiding
• 12:58
  machine
• 12:58
  that
• 12:58
  has,
• 12:59
  let's
• 12:59
  call
• 12:59
  it,
• 13:00
  16
• 13:01
  different
• 13:01
  threads
• 13:01
  that
• 13:02
  you're
• 13:02
  braiding
• 13:02
  together.
• 13:03
  And
• 13:03
  if
• 13:03
  you
• 13:04
  want
• 13:04
  to
• 13:04
  taper
• 13:04
  it
• 13:04
  up
• 13:04
  or
• 13:04
  down,
• 13:05
  you
• 13:05
  either
• 13:05
  have
• 13:05
  to
• 13:06
  cut
• 13:06
  out
• 13:06
  those
• 13:06
  threads,
• 13:07
  so
• 13:07
  you
• 13:07
  go
• 13:07
  from
• 13:07
  16
• 13:08
  to
• 13:08
  you
• 13:08
  know,
• 13:09
  1412
• 13:09
  and
• 13:10
  you
• 13:10
  taper
• 13:10
  down
• 13:10
  or
• 13:11
  you
• 13:11
  start
• 13:11
  at
• 13:11
  10
• 13:12
  and
• 13:12
  then
• 13:12
  you
• 13:12
  add
• 13:12
  threads
• 13:13
  back
• 13:13
  in
• 13:13
  and
• 13:13
  you
• 13:14
  go
• 13:14
  back
• 13:14
  up.
• 13:15
  And
• 13:15
  so
• 13:15
  traditionally
• 13:15
  that
• 13:15
  was
• 13:16
  the
• 13:16
  way
• 13:16
  that
• 13:16
  these
• 13:16
  fly
• 13:16
  lines
• 13:17
  are
• 13:17
  made.
• 13:17
  And
• 13:17
  so
• 13:17
  my
• 13:18
  understanding
• 13:18
  is
• 13:18
  that
• 13:19
  there
• 13:19
  was
• 13:19
  a
• 13:19
  company
• 13:19
  that
• 13:20
  beat
• 13:20
  us
• 13:20
  to
• 13:20
  the
• 13:20
  punch
• 13:20
  of
• 13:21
  making
• 13:21
  PVC
• 13:22
  fly
• 13:22
  lines.
• 13:22
  But
• 13:22
  they
• 13:23
  were,
• 13:23
  they
• 13:23
  were
• 13:24
  tapering
• 13:24
  the
• 13:24
  core
• 13:25
  still.
• 13:25
  So
• 13:25
  they
• 13:26
  had
• 13:26
  a
• 13:26
  tapered
• 13:26
  core
• 13:27
  which
• 13:27
  was
• 13:27
  highly
• 13:28
  labor
• 13:28
  intensive.
• 13:29
  And
• 13:29
  then
• 13:29
  they
• 13:29
  would
• 13:29
  apply
• 13:30
  an
• 13:30
  even
• 13:31
  layer
• 13:31
  of
• 13:31
  PVC
• 13:32
  plastisol
• 13:33
  to
• 13:33
  the
• 13:33
  outside
• 13:33
  of
• 13:33
  that.
• 13:34
  What
• 13:34
  SA
• 13:35
  did
• 13:35
  was
• 13:35
  we
• 13:36
  came
• 13:36
  in
• 13:36
  and
• 13:36
  we
• 13:36
  said,
• 13:37
  hey
• 13:37
  look,
• 13:37
  the,
• 13:37
  the
• 13:38
  labor
• 13:39
  intensity
• 13:39
  of
• 13:40
  braiding
• 13:40
  and
• 13:41
  tapering
• 13:41
  a
• 13:42
  core
• 13:42
  is
• 13:43
  much
• 13:43
  too
• 13:43
  great.
• 13:44
  So
• 13:44
  instead
• 13:45
  we're
• 13:45
  going
• 13:45
  to
• 13:46
  build
• 13:46
  our
• 13:46
  fly
• 13:46
  lines
• 13:47
  on
• 13:47
  a
• 13:47
  level
• 13:47
  core
• 13:48
  and
• 13:48
  we're
• 13:48
  going
• 13:48
  to
• 13:48
  taper
• 13:48
  the
• 13:49
  plastic
• 13:49
  instead.
• 13:50
  And
• 13:50
  that
• 13:50
  allowed
• 13:50
  us
• 13:50
  to
• 13:51
  produce
• 13:51
  it
• 13:51
  in
• 13:52
  a
• 13:52
  much
• 13:52
  easier
• 13:53
  manner,
• 13:53
  much
• 13:53
  more
• 13:54
  consistent
• 13:55
  and
• 13:55
  way,
• 13:56
  way
• 13:56
  more
• 13:56
  efficient.
• 13:57
  Yeah,
• 13:58
  interesting.
• 13:58
  As
• 13:58
  you're
• 13:59
  explaining
• 13:59
  that,
• 13:59
  it
• 13:59
  makes
• 13:59
  me
• 14:00
  think
• 14:00
  about
• 14:00
  when
• 14:00
  I
• 14:00
  was
• 14:00
  a
• 14:00
  kid
• 14:01
  playing
• 14:01
  with
• 14:01
  those
• 14:01
  like
• 14:02
  play
• 14:02
  DOH
• 14:02
  machines
• 14:03
  with
• 14:03
  the
• 14:03
  Cranks
• 14:03
  on
• 14:03
  them,
• 14:05
  extruding
• 14:06
  like
• 14:06
  big
• 14:06
  play
• 14:06
  doh
• 14:07
  snakes.
• 14:07
  It
• 14:07
  sounds
• 14:07
  like
• 14:07
  that's
• 14:08
  kind
• 14:08
  of
• 14:08
  how
• 14:08
  the
• 14:08
  fly
• 14:08
  lines
• 14:09
  are
• 14:09
  made.
• 14:09
  Very
• 14:10
  similar.
• 14:10
  Yeah.
• 14:10
  Yep.
• 14:11
  Very
• 14:11
  similar.
• 14:11
  Yeah.
• 14:11
  And
• 14:12
  so,
• 14:12
  you
• 14:12
  know,
• 14:12
  it's,
• 14:12
  it's
• 14:13
  interesting,
• 14:13
  right,
• 14:13
  because
• 14:13
  I
• 14:14
  would
• 14:14
  say,
• 14:14
  I
• 14:14
  don't
• 14:14
  know
• 14:15
  what,
• 14:15
  maybe
• 14:15
  in
• 14:15
  the
• 14:15
  last
• 14:16
  eight
• 14:16
  to
• 14:17
  10
• 14:17
  years,
• 14:18
  to
• 14:18
  me
• 14:18
  there's
• 14:19
  been
• 14:19
  an
• 14:19
  absolute
• 14:20
  explosion
• 14:20
  in
• 14:21
  specialty
• 14:21
  fly
• 14:21
  lines.
• 14:22
  And
• 14:23
  I
• 14:23
  was
• 14:23
  kind
• 14:23
  of
• 14:23
  curious,
• 14:24
  you
• 14:24
  know,
• 14:24
  if
• 14:24
  you
• 14:24
  wanted
• 14:24
  to
• 14:24
  kind
• 14:25
  of
• 14:25
  share
• 14:25
  your
• 14:25
  views
• 14:25
  on
• 14:26
  kind
• 14:26
  of,
• 14:26
  you
• 14:26
  know,
• 14:26
  what's
• 14:27
  attributed
• 14:27
  to
• 14:27
  that
• 14:28
  growth.
• 14:28
  I
• 14:28
  mean,
• 14:28
  it
• 14:29
  seems
• 14:29
  like
• 14:29
  there
• 14:29
  is
• 14:29
  a
• 14:29
  fly
• 14:30
  line
• 14:30
  for
• 14:31
  every
• 14:31
  species
• 14:31
  and
• 14:32
  every
• 14:32
  possible
• 14:32
  use
• 14:33
  case
• 14:33
  almost
• 14:33
  at
• 14:33
  this
• 14:34
  point.
• 14:34
  Sure,
• 14:35
  yeah.
• 14:35
  I
• 14:35
  mean,
• 14:36
  admittedly
• 14:36
  a
• 14:36
  little
• 14:37
  bit
• 14:37
  of
• 14:37
  is,
• 14:37
  is
• 14:38
  consumerism.
• 14:38
  Right.
• 14:39
  Like
• 14:39
  it's
• 14:39
  the
• 14:40
  more
• 14:40
  options
• 14:40
  you
• 14:40
  have
• 14:41
  in
• 14:41
  theory,
• 14:41
  the
• 14:41
  more
• 14:41
  fly
• 14:42
  lines
• 14:42
  you'll
• 14:42
  sell.
• 14:42
  And
• 14:43
  it's
• 14:43
  sort
• 14:43
  of
• 14:43
  a
• 14:43
  race
• 14:43
  to
• 14:43
  the
• 14:44
  bottom
• 14:44
  in
• 14:44
  that
• 14:44
  regard.
• 14:45
  Unfortunately,
• 14:46
  if
• 14:46
  you
• 14:47
  don't
• 14:47
  have
• 14:47
  all
• 14:47
  these
• 14:47
  options
• 14:48
  now,
• 14:48
  you're
• 14:48
  falling
• 14:49
  behind
• 14:49
  from
• 14:49
  your
• 14:49
  competition.
• 14:50
  So
• 14:51
  sort
• 14:51
  of
• 14:51
  a
• 14:51
  self
• 14:52
  fulfilling
• 14:52
  prophecy
• 14:53
  there.
• 14:53
  But
• 14:53
  I
• 14:53
  think
• 14:54
  in
• 14:54
  the
• 14:54
  truest
• 14:55
  form,
• 14:55
  the
• 14:55
  reason
• 14:55
  we
• 14:56
  have
• 14:56
  so
• 14:56
  many
• 14:57
  different
• 14:57
  lines
• 14:58
  now
• 14:58
  is
• 14:58
  because
• 14:58
  we
• 14:59
  have
• 14:59
  so
• 14:59
  many
• 14:59
  varied
• 14:59
  techniques
• 15:00
  in
• 15:00
  fly
• 15:01
  fishing.
• 15:01
  You
• 15:02
  know,
• 15:02
  if
• 15:02
  I
• 15:02
  think
• 15:02
  about
• 15:02
  fly
• 15:03
  fishing
• 15:03
  back
• 15:03
  in,
• 15:04
  I
• 15:05
  mean
• 15:05
  I,
• 15:05
  I
• 15:05
  wasn't
• 15:05
  around.
• 15:06
  But
• 15:06
  let's,
• 15:06
  let's
• 15:06
  say
• 15:06
  back
• 15:07
  in
• 15:07
  the,
• 15:07
  the
• 15:07
  50s
• 15:07
  or
• 15:08
  60s,
• 15:08
  you
• 15:08
  know,
• 15:09
  there
• 15:09
  wasn't
• 15:09
  many
• 15:09
  people
• 15:10
  targeting
• 15:10
  tarpon.
• 15:11
  There
• 15:11
  probably
• 15:11
  wasn't
• 15:11
  very
• 15:12
  many
• 15:12
  people
• 15:12
  targeting
• 15:12
  permit.
• 15:13
  You
• 15:13
  know,
• 15:14
  Euro
• 15:14
  European
• 15:15
  style
• 15:15
  nymphing
• 15:15
  didn't
• 15:16
  exist.
• 15:16
  No
• 15:17
  one
• 15:17
  was
• 15:17
  using
• 15:17
  strike
• 15:18
  indicators.
• 15:19
  There
• 15:19
  probably
• 15:19
  was
• 15:20
  hardly
• 15:20
  anybody
• 15:20
  targeting
• 15:21
  muskie
• 15:21
  on
• 15:21
  fly.
• 15:22
  Right.
• 15:22
  So
• 15:23
  we
• 15:23
  have
• 15:24
  so
• 15:24
  many
• 15:24
  more
• 15:24
  species
• 15:25
  that
• 15:25
  are
• 15:25
  now,
• 15:26
  I
• 15:27
  guess
• 15:27
  for
• 15:27
  lack
• 15:27
  of
• 15:27
  better
• 15:28
  term,
• 15:28
  more
• 15:28
  mainstream.
• 15:29
  That
• 15:30
  sort
• 15:30
  of
• 15:30
  necessitate
• 15:31
  specialized
• 15:31
  gear.
• 15:32
  And
• 15:32
  I
• 15:32
  think
• 15:32
  that's
• 15:32
  why
• 15:33
  you
• 15:33
  see
• 15:33
  the
• 15:33
  proliferation
• 15:34
  of
• 15:34
  lines
• 15:35
  and
• 15:35
  you
• 15:35
  know,
• 15:35
  rods
• 15:36
  and
• 15:36
  reels,
• 15:36
  basically
• 15:37
  any
• 15:37
  piece
• 15:37
  of
• 15:37
  equipment
• 15:38
  in
• 15:38
  fly
• 15:38
  fishing.
• 15:39
  Yeah,
• 15:40
  interesting.
• 15:40
  I
• 15:40
  mean,
• 15:40
  how
• 15:41
  much
• 15:41
  too
• 15:41
  do
• 15:41
  you
• 15:41
  think?
• 15:41
  I
• 15:42
  mean,
• 15:42
  I
• 15:42
  would
• 15:42
  imagine
• 15:42
  too,
• 15:42
  it
• 15:43
  seems
• 15:43
  to
• 15:43
  me
• 15:43
  that,
• 15:44
  you
• 15:44
  know,
• 15:44
  manufacturing
• 15:45
  has
• 15:45
  gotten
• 15:46
  to
• 15:46
  a
• 15:46
  place
• 15:46
  where
• 15:47
  it's
• 15:48
  easier
• 15:48
  to
• 15:48
  make
• 15:48
  more
• 15:49
  customizable
• 15:49
  stuff
• 15:50
  in
• 15:50
  much
• 15:50
  smaller
• 15:50
  batches
• 15:51
  than
• 15:51
  it
• 15:51
  was
• 15:51
  maybe
• 15:52
  15
• 15:52
  or
• 15:52
  20
• 15:52
  years
• 15:53
  ago.
• 15:54
  That's
• 15:54
  very
• 15:54
  true.
• 15:54
  So
• 15:54
  when
• 15:55
  we
• 15:55
  first
• 15:55
  started
• 15:56
  building
• 15:56
  fly
• 15:57
  lines
• 15:57
  at
• 15:58
  sa,
• 15:59
  the
• 15:59
  way
• 16:00
  we
• 16:00
  tapered
• 16:01
  the
• 16:02
  fly
• 16:02
  line
• 16:02
  was
• 16:02
  actually
• 16:03
  determined
• 16:03
  by
• 16:03
  a
• 16:03
  cam.
• 16:04
  So
• 16:04
  we
• 16:04
  had
• 16:05
  a,
• 16:06
  like
• 16:06
  a
• 16:06
  metal
• 16:07
  disc
• 16:07
  that
• 16:08
  had
• 16:08
  the
• 16:09
  taper
• 16:09
  sort
• 16:09
  of
• 16:09
  etched
• 16:10
  into
• 16:10
  the
• 16:10
  outside
• 16:11
  of
• 16:11
  the
• 16:11
  metal
• 16:11
  disc
• 16:12
  and
• 16:12
  the
• 16:12
  die,
• 16:13
  how
• 16:13
  open
• 16:13
  the
• 16:14
  die
• 16:14
  would,
• 16:14
  or
• 16:14
  how
• 16:15
  far
• 16:15
  the
• 16:15
  die
• 16:15
  would
• 16:15
  open
• 16:16
  to
• 16:16
  make
• 16:16
  the
• 16:16
  taper.
• 16:16
  The
• 16:17
  line
• 16:17
  was
• 16:17
  determined
• 16:18
  by
• 16:18
  this
• 16:18
  disc
• 16:18
  and
• 16:19
  you
• 16:19
  had
• 16:19
  to
• 16:19
  have
• 16:19
  very
• 16:19
  tight
• 16:20
  tolerancing
• 16:20
  in
• 16:20
  the
• 16:20
  manufacturing
• 16:21
  for
• 16:21
  that
• 16:21
  disc.
• 16:22
  So
• 16:22
  anytime
• 16:22
  you
• 16:23
  wanted
• 16:23
  to
• 16:23
  come
• 16:23
  out
• 16:23
  with
• 16:23
  a
• 16:24
  new
• 16:24
  taper
• 16:24
  or
• 16:25
  sometimes
• 16:25
  even
• 16:25
  a
• 16:26
  new
• 16:26
  size,
• 16:26
  you
• 16:26
  had
• 16:26
  to
• 16:27
  go
• 16:27
  to
• 16:27
  a
• 16:27
  machine
• 16:27
  shop
• 16:28
  and
• 16:28
  have
• 16:28
  this
• 16:29
  disc
• 16:29
  manufactured.
• 16:30
  And
• 16:31
  you
• 16:31
  know,
• 16:32
  it
• 16:32
  doesn't
• 16:32
  seem
• 16:32
  like
• 16:32
  much
• 16:32
  money
• 16:33
  now,
• 16:33
  but
• 16:33
  back
• 16:33
  in
• 16:33
  the
• 16:33
  day
• 16:34
  it
• 16:34
  was
• 16:34
  pretty
• 16:34
  significant.
• 16:35
  And
• 16:35
  if
• 16:35
  you
• 16:35
  didn't
• 16:36
  get
• 16:36
  it
• 16:36
  right,
• 16:36
  you'd
• 16:36
  have
• 16:36
  to
• 16:36
  basically
• 16:37
  scrap
• 16:37
  it
• 16:37
  and
• 16:37
  start
• 16:38
  all
• 16:38
  over
• 16:38
  again.
• 16:39
  I
• 16:39
  can't
• 16:40
  remember
• 16:40
  when
• 16:40
  we
• 16:41
  implemented
• 16:41
  computer
• 16:41
  control,
• 16:42
  but
• 16:42
  I
• 16:42
  want
• 16:42
  to
• 16:42
  say
• 16:43
  it
• 16:43
  was
• 16:43
  probably
• 16:44
  in
• 16:44
  the
• 16:45
  70s
• 16:45
  or
• 16:46
  80s.
• 16:47
  And
• 16:47
  you're
• 16:47
  exactly
• 16:48
  right.
• 16:48
  Ever
• 16:48
  since
• 16:48
  we've
• 16:48
  had
• 16:49
  computer
• 16:49
  control,
• 16:49
  you
• 16:50
  know,
• 16:50
  now
• 16:50
  it's
• 16:50
  just
• 16:50
  a,
• 16:50
  basically
• 16:51
  an
• 16:51
  Excel
• 16:52
  spreadsheet
• 16:52
  and
• 16:52
  you
• 16:52
  type
• 16:53
  in
• 16:53
  your
• 16:53
  diameters
• 16:54
  and
• 16:54
  your
• 16:54
  segment
• 16:54
  lengths
• 16:55
  and
• 16:55
  you
• 16:55
  can
• 16:56
  make
• 16:56
  a
• 16:56
  new
• 16:56
  fly
• 16:57
  line
• 16:57
  in
• 16:57
  10
• 16:57
  minutes
• 16:58
  if
• 16:58
  you
• 16:58
  want
• 16:58
  to.
• 16:59
  Yeah,
• 16:59
  that's
• 17:00
  kind
• 17:00
  of
• 17:00
  cool.
• 17:00
  I
• 17:00
  mean,
• 17:00
  because,
• 17:00
  you
• 17:01
  know,
• 17:01
  obviously
• 17:01
  you
• 17:01
  get
• 17:01
  more
• 17:01
  and
• 17:02
  more
• 17:02
  specialized.
• 17:02
  The,
• 17:03
  the
• 17:03
  run
• 17:03
  sizes
• 17:04
  in
• 17:04
  some
• 17:04
  ways
• 17:04
  kind
• 17:04
  of
• 17:04
  get
• 17:05
  smaller
• 17:05
  and
• 17:05
  smaller.
• 17:06
  You
• 17:06
  know,
• 17:06
  what's
• 17:07
  kind
• 17:07
  of
• 17:07
  the
• 17:07
  minimum
• 17:08
  kind
• 17:08
  of,
• 17:08
  you
• 17:09
  know,
• 17:09
  let's
• 17:09
  just
• 17:09
  say
• 17:10
  pro
• 17:10
  forma
• 17:10
  market
• 17:11
  size,
• 17:11
  you
• 17:11
  need
• 17:11
  to
• 17:12
  have
• 17:12
  a
• 17:12
  viable
• 17:12
  fly
• 17:12
  line
• 17:13
  product.
• 17:14
  Typically
• 17:15
  we
• 17:15
  like
• 17:15
  to
• 17:15
  sell
• 17:15
  at
• 17:16
  least
• 17:16
  300
• 17:17
  lines
• 17:17
  in
• 17:17
  a
• 17:17
  year
• 17:18
  for
• 17:18
  an
• 17:18
  application
• 17:19
  and
• 17:20
  that
• 17:20
  300
• 17:21
  lines
• 17:21
  can
• 17:21
  be
• 17:21
  divided
• 17:22
  over
• 17:22
  a
• 17:22
  few
• 17:23
  sizes.
• 17:24
  But
• 17:24
  if
• 17:24
  it
• 17:24
  gets
• 17:24
  much
• 17:25
  below
• 17:25
  300
• 17:26
  or
• 17:26
  200
• 17:27
  in
• 17:27
  a
• 17:27
  year,
• 17:27
  we
• 17:27
  start
• 17:28
  looking
• 17:28
  at
• 17:28
  it
• 17:28
  pretty
• 17:28
  heavily
• 17:29
  for
• 17:29
  drop.
• 17:30
  We
• 17:30
  do
• 17:30
  have
• 17:31
  what
• 17:31
  we'll
• 17:31
  call
• 17:32
  sort
• 17:32
  of
• 17:32
  loss
• 17:33
  leaders
• 17:33
  lines
• 17:34
  that
• 17:34
  we
• 17:34
  know
• 17:34
  aren't
• 17:35
  going
• 17:35
  to
• 17:35
  sell
• 17:35
  a
• 17:35
  lot
• 17:35
  of.
• 17:36
  They're
• 17:36
  not
• 17:36
  going
• 17:37
  to,
• 17:37
  we're
• 17:37
  not
• 17:37
  going
• 17:37
  to
• 17:37
  sell
• 17:37
  a
• 17:37
  ton
• 17:38
  of
• 17:38
  lines
• 17:38
  in
• 17:38
  a
• 17:38
  category.
• 17:39
  But
• 17:39
  we
• 17:39
  feel
• 17:39
  like
• 17:40
  to
• 17:40
  be
• 17:40
  competitive
• 17:40
  we
• 17:40
  need
• 17:40
  to
• 17:41
  maintain
• 17:41
  it.
• 17:42
  And
• 17:42
  thankfully
• 17:42
  we
• 17:43
  have
• 17:43
  enough
• 17:43
  other
• 17:43
  high
• 17:43
  volume
• 17:44
  products
• 17:44
  to
• 17:44
  offset
• 17:45
  those
• 17:45
  programs.
• 17:46
  But
• 17:46
  yeah,
• 17:46
  typically
• 17:47
  around
• 17:47
  300
• 17:48
  or
• 17:48
  200
• 17:48
  lines
• 17:49
  per
• 17:49
  year
• 17:49
  is
• 17:49
  sort
• 17:49
  of
• 17:49
  the
• 17:50
  minimum.
• 17:50
  Yeah,
• 17:51
  that's
• 17:51
  pretty
• 17:51
  amazing.
• 17:51
  I
• 17:52
  mean,
• 17:52
  that's
• 17:52
  really,
• 17:52
  I
• 17:53
  mean,
• 17:53
  gosh,
• 17:53
  that's
• 17:53
  not
• 17:53
  that
• 17:54
  many
• 17:54
  even
• 17:54
  for,
• 17:54
  you
• 17:55
  know,
• 17:55
  like,
• 17:56
  you
• 17:56
  know,
• 17:56
  pretty
• 17:56
  esoteric
• 17:57
  kind
• 17:57
  of
• 17:57
  predator
• 17:58
  species,
• 17:58
  right?
• 17:59
  Yeah,
• 17:59
  Yep.
• 18:00
  Yeah.
• 18:01
  And
• 18:01
  so
• 18:01
  it's
• 18:01
  interesting
• 18:01
  too,
• 18:02
  right?
• 18:02
  I
• 18:02
  mean
• 18:02
  I,
• 18:02
  I've
• 18:03
  kind
• 18:03
  of
• 18:03
  know
• 18:03
  people
• 18:04
  that
• 18:04
  have
• 18:04
  advised
• 18:05
  you
• 18:05
  and
• 18:05
  helped
• 18:05
  you
• 18:05
  develop
• 18:05
  lines.
• 18:06
  But
• 18:06
  I
• 18:06
  was
• 18:06
  kind
• 18:06
  of
• 18:06
  curious,
• 18:07
  you
• 18:07
  know,
• 18:07
  you
• 18:08
  know,
• 18:08
  how
• 18:08
  does,
• 18:08
  how
• 18:08
  do
• 18:08
  you
• 18:09
  generally
• 18:09
  collaborate
• 18:10
  with
• 18:10
  your
• 18:10
  pro
• 18:10
  community
• 18:11
  to
• 18:12
  come
• 18:12
  up
• 18:12
  with
• 18:12
  a
• 18:12
  new
• 18:12
  line?
• 18:13
  You
• 18:13
  know,
• 18:13
  does
• 18:13
  the,
• 18:14
  does
• 18:14
  an
• 18:14
  angler
• 18:15
  like
• 18:15
  say,
• 18:15
  does
• 18:15
  Blaine
• 18:16
  come
• 18:16
  to
• 18:16
  you
• 18:16
  with
• 18:16
  a
• 18:16
  problem
• 18:16
  and
• 18:17
  say,
• 18:17
  hey,
• 18:17
  I
• 18:18
  need
• 18:18
  a
• 18:18
  line
• 18:18
  that
• 18:18
  works
• 18:19
  better
• 18:19
  for
• 18:19
  this?
• 18:19
  Or
• 18:20
  do
• 18:20
  you
• 18:20
  guys
• 18:20
  have
• 18:21
  kind
• 18:21
  of
• 18:21
  fishing
• 18:22
  solutions?
• 18:22
  Or
• 18:23
  do
• 18:23
  you
• 18:23
  kind
• 18:24
  of,
• 18:24
  you
• 18:24
  know,
• 18:24
  marry
• 18:25
  the
• 18:25
  tech
• 18:25
  and
• 18:25
  the
• 18:25
  engineering
• 18:26
  to
• 18:26
  help
• 18:26
  solve
• 18:27
  the
• 18:27
  fishing
• 18:27
  problem
• 18:27
  for
• 18:27
  the
• 18:28
  pro.
• 18:29
  Yeah,
• 18:29
  I
• 18:29
  would
• 18:30
  say
• 18:30
  it
• 18:30
  depends
• 18:30
  on
• 18:30
  what
• 18:31
  we're
• 18:31
  developing.
• 18:31
  So
• 18:31
  if
• 18:32
  it's
• 18:32
  a
• 18:32
  taper
• 18:33
  or
• 18:33
  maybe,
• 18:34
  you
• 18:34
  know,
• 18:34
  a
• 18:34
  change
• 18:35
  in
• 18:35
  density
• 18:35
  or
• 18:35
  something
• 18:36
  like
• 18:36
  that,
• 18:36
  generally
• 18:37
  that
• 18:37
  will
• 18:37
  come
• 18:37
  from
• 18:38
  the
• 18:38
  field,
• 18:38
  which
• 18:39
  is
• 18:39
  also
• 18:39
  usually
• 18:39
  an
• 18:39
  ambassador
• 18:40
  or
• 18:40
  pro
• 18:40
  staffer.
• 18:41
  So
• 18:41
  we'll
• 18:42
  have
• 18:42
  a,
• 18:42
  you
• 18:42
  know,
• 18:42
  someone
• 18:42
  reach
• 18:43
  out
• 18:43
  that
• 18:43
  says,
• 18:43
  hey,
• 18:43
  I've
• 18:43
  got
• 18:44
  an
• 18:44
  application.
• 18:45
  It
• 18:45
  doesn't
• 18:45
  really
• 18:45
  seem
• 18:46
  like
• 18:46
  you
• 18:46
  have
• 18:46
  a
• 18:46
  line
• 18:46
  that
• 18:46
  fits
• 18:47
  the
• 18:47
  bill.
• 18:47
  Most
• 18:48
  often
• 18:48
  it's
• 18:48
  like,
• 18:48
  I'm
• 18:49
  using
• 18:49
  this
• 18:49
  line
• 18:50
  of
• 18:50
  yours.
• 18:50
  If
• 18:50
  we
• 18:50
  could
• 18:51
  tweak
• 18:51
  it
• 18:51
  to
• 18:51
  do
• 18:51
  this,
• 18:52
  that
• 18:52
  would
• 18:52
  be
• 18:52
  great.
• 18:53
  So
• 18:54
  most
• 18:54
  often
• 18:55
  taper,
• 18:55
  taper
• 18:55
  ideas
• 18:56
  come
• 18:56
  external
• 18:57
  from
• 18:57
  the
• 18:57
  company.
• 18:57
  Like
• 18:58
  they're
• 18:58
  not
• 18:58
  actually
• 18:58
  coming
• 18:58
  from
• 18:59
  my
• 18:59
  mind.
• 18:59
  I
• 18:59
  might,
• 18:59
  I
• 19:00
  may
• 19:00
  take
• 19:00
  what
• 19:00
  they're,
• 19:01
  they're
• 19:01
  trying
• 19:01
  to
• 19:01
  convey
• 19:02
  and
• 19:02
  interpret
• 19:02
  it
• 19:03
  and
• 19:03
  make
• 19:03
  a
• 19:03
  line
• 19:03
  out
• 19:03
  of
• 19:04
  it,
• 19:04
  but
• 19:04
  most
• 19:04
  of
• 19:05
  the
• 19:05
  ID
• 19:05
  ideation
• 19:06
  comes
• 19:06
  from
• 19:06
  people
• 19:07
  outside
• 19:07
  of
• 19:07
  sa.
• 19:08
  The
• 19:09
  technology
• 19:10
  that
• 19:10
  we
• 19:10
  put
• 19:10
  into
• 19:11
  the
• 19:11
  fly
• 19:11
  line
• 19:11
  is
• 19:11
  a
• 19:11
  little
• 19:11
  bit
• 19:12
  different,
• 19:12
  you
• 19:12
  know,
• 19:12
  which
• 19:13
  is
• 19:13
  things
• 19:13
  like
• 19:14
  trying
• 19:14
  to
• 19:14
  make
• 19:14
  a
• 19:14
  fly
• 19:14
  line
• 19:15

• 19:15

• 19:15

• 19:16

• 19:16

• 19:17

• 19:17

• 19:17
  or
• 19:17
  sink
• 19:18
  faster,
• 19:18
  whatever,
• 19:20
  because
• 19:20
  that's
• 19:20
  overarching
• 19:21
  generally
• 19:21
  through
• 19:22
  entire
• 19:22
  product
• 19:23
  ranges.
• 19:24
  That's
• 19:24
  a
• 19:24
  little
• 19:24
  bit
• 19:25
  easier
• 19:25
  for
• 19:25
  us
• 19:25
  to
• 19:25
  see
• 19:26
  the
• 19:26
  clear
• 19:26
  benefit
• 19:27
  and
• 19:27
  be
• 19:27
  like,
• 19:27
  hey,
• 19:27
  you
• 19:27
  know,
• 19:27
  if
• 19:28
  we
• 19:28
  can
• 19:28
  make
• 19:28
  90%
• 19:29
  of
• 19:29
  our
• 19:29
  fly
• 19:30
  lines
• 19:30
  slicker,
• 19:31
  we're
• 19:31
  going
• 19:31
  to
• 19:31
  do
• 19:31
  it.
• 19:32
  The
• 19:33
  nuance
• 19:33
  of
• 19:33
  tapers
• 19:34
  is,
• 19:34
  is
• 19:34
  generally
• 19:35
  enough
• 19:35
  that
• 19:36
  we,
• 19:36
  we
• 19:36
  wait
• 19:37
  for
• 19:37
  people
• 19:37
  to
• 19:37
  ask
• 19:37
  us
• 19:38
  for
• 19:38
  applications.
• 19:39
  Especially
• 19:40
  since
• 19:40
  to
• 19:40
  your
• 19:40
  point,
• 19:41
  where
• 19:41
  you
• 19:41
  have
• 19:41
  so
• 19:41
  many
• 19:41
  fly
• 19:42
  line
• 19:42
  options
• 19:42
  anyway,
• 19:43
  we're
• 19:43
  not
• 19:43
  just
• 19:44
  looking
• 19:44
  to
• 19:44
  invent
• 19:45
  things,
• 19:45
  to
• 19:45
  invent
• 19:45
  them.
• 19:46
  We
• 19:46
  want
• 19:46
  to,
• 19:46
  we
• 19:46
  want
• 19:46
  to
• 19:46
  see
• 19:47
  that
• 19:47
  there's
• 19:47
  an
• 19:47
  actual
• 19:47
  need
• 19:48
  before
• 19:48
  we
• 19:48
  bring
• 19:48
  it
• 19:48
  to
• 19:49
  the
• 19:49
  market.
• 19:50
  Interesting.
• 19:51
  And
• 19:51
  so,
• 19:51
  you
• 19:51
  know,
• 19:51
  just
• 19:52
  kind
• 19:52
  of
• 19:52
  curious
• 19:52
  on
• 19:53
  kind
• 19:53
  of
• 19:53
  the
• 19:53
  tech
• 19:53
  side.
• 19:54
  Like,
• 19:54
  let's
• 19:54
  just
• 19:54
  say
• 19:54
  with
• 19:55
  coatings,
• 19:55
  right?
• 19:57
  You
• 19:57
  know,
• 19:57
  how
• 19:58
  does
• 19:58
  that
• 19:58
  sort
• 19:58
  of
• 19:58
  bubble
• 19:59
  up
• 19:59
  on
• 19:59
  your
• 19:59
  radar?
• 20:00
  Is
• 20:00
  it
• 20:00
  a
• 20:01
  problem
• 20:01
  or
• 20:02
  are
• 20:02
  you
• 20:02
  at
• 20:02
  a,
• 20:03
  you
• 20:03
  know,
• 20:03
  a
• 20:03
  trade
• 20:04
  show
• 20:04
  and
• 20:04
  you're
• 20:04
  like,
• 20:04
  hey,
• 20:04
  here's
• 20:05
  a
• 20:05
  new
• 20:05
  product.
• 20:05
  We
• 20:06
  can
• 20:06
  kind
• 20:06
  of,
• 20:06
  let's
• 20:07
  see
• 20:07
  how
• 20:07
  it
• 20:07
  works.
• 20:07
  I
• 20:08
  mean,
• 20:08
  how
• 20:08
  does
• 20:08
  that
• 20:08
  tech
• 20:09
  kind
• 20:09
  of
• 20:09
  come
• 20:09
  into.
• 20:10
  Come
• 20:10
  into
• 20:10
  existence
• 20:11
  at
• 20:11
  sa?
• 20:12
  Generally
• 20:13
  it's
• 20:13
  just
• 20:13
  through
• 20:14
  contacts
• 20:14
  in
• 20:15
  sort
• 20:15
  of
• 20:15
  the
• 20:15
  greater
• 20:16
  plastics
• 20:17
  industry.
• 20:18
  So
• 20:18
  I
• 20:18
  try
• 20:18
  to
• 20:19
  keep
• 20:19
  in
• 20:19
  touch
• 20:19
  with
• 20:20
  plastics
• 20:20
  news
• 20:21
  and,
• 20:21
  and
• 20:21
  I
• 20:21
  have
• 20:22
  a
• 20:22
  number
• 20:22
  of
• 20:22
  pretty
• 20:23
  good
• 20:23
  contacts
• 20:23
  and
• 20:24
  suppliers
• 20:25
  that
• 20:25
  we
• 20:25
  use
• 20:26
  now.
• 20:26
  And
• 20:26
  a
• 20:27
  lot
• 20:27
  of
• 20:27
  times
• 20:27
  it'll
• 20:27
  just
• 20:27
  be
• 20:28
  a
• 20:28
  supplier
• 20:28
  reaching
• 20:28
  out
• 20:29
  and
• 20:29
  saying,
• 20:29
  hey,
• 20:29
  you
• 20:30
  know,
• 20:30
  we
• 20:30
  have
• 20:30
  a,
• 20:30
  we
• 20:31
  have
• 20:31
  a
• 20:31
  new
• 20:31
  component,
• 20:31
  we
• 20:31
  have
• 20:32
  a
• 20:32
  new
• 20:32
  additive
• 20:32
  that
• 20:33
  we're
• 20:33
  launching.
• 20:33
  Would
• 20:34
  you
• 20:34
  like
• 20:34
  to
• 20:34
  evaluate
• 20:35
  it
• 20:35
  or,
• 20:36
  you
• 20:36
  know,
• 20:36
  just
• 20:36
  doing
• 20:36
  some
• 20:37
  pretty
• 20:37
  basic
• 20:37
  Google
• 20:38
  searching
• 20:38
  and
• 20:38
  trying
• 20:39
  to
• 20:39
  figure
• 20:39
  out
• 20:39
  if
• 20:39
  there's
• 20:40
  some
• 20:40
  new
• 20:40
  slickness,
• 20:41
  additive
• 20:41
  or
• 20:42
  some
• 20:42
  reinforcement
• 20:43
  for
• 20:43
  PVC
• 20:44
  that's
• 20:44
  come
• 20:44
  along
• 20:44
  in
• 20:45
  the
• 20:45
  past
• 20:45
  few
• 20:45
  years
• 20:45
  that
• 20:45
  I
• 20:46
  haven't
• 20:46
  heard
• 20:46
  about.
• 20:48
  We're,
• 20:48
  I
• 20:48
  would
• 20:48
  say
• 20:49
  that
• 20:49
  we.
• 20:49
  It's
• 20:49
  not
• 20:50
  really
• 20:50
  technology
• 20:51
  development's
• 20:51
  not
• 20:51
  really
• 20:52
  a
• 20:52
  scheduled
• 20:52
  thing.
• 20:52
  It's
• 20:53
  not
• 20:53
  like
• 20:53
  we're,
• 20:54
  you
• 20:54
  know,
• 20:54
  every
• 20:54
  three
• 20:55
  years,
• 20:55
  okay,
• 20:55
  we
• 20:55
  need
• 20:56
  new
• 20:56
  technology.
• 20:56
  It's
• 20:57
  more
• 20:57
  like
• 20:57
  just
• 20:57
  keeping
• 20:58
  your
• 20:58
  ear
• 20:58
  to
• 20:58
  the
• 20:59
  ground
• 21:00
  the
• 21:00
  entire
• 21:00
  time.
• 21:01
  And
• 21:01
  if
• 21:01
  something
• 21:02
  comes
• 21:02
  up
• 21:02
  that's
• 21:03
  worthwhile
• 21:03
  and
• 21:04
  beneficial,
• 21:04
  then
• 21:05
  we'll
• 21:05
  do
• 21:05
  it.
• 21:05
  And
• 21:05
  if
• 21:05
  not,
• 21:06
  then
• 21:06
  we
• 21:06
  just
• 21:06
  wait
• 21:06
  until
• 21:07
  something
• 21:07
  does
• 21:07
  come
• 21:07
  along.
• 21:08
  Yeah,
• 21:09
  it's
• 21:09
  kind
• 21:09
  of
• 21:09
  like
• 21:09
  fly
• 21:09
  tires,
• 21:10
  trolling
• 21:10
  hobby
• 21:11
  shops
• 21:11
  and
• 21:11
  craft
• 21:12
  stores,
• 21:12
  right?
• 21:13
  Yeah.
• 21:13
  Yeah.
• 21:14
  And
• 21:14
  so,
• 21:14
  you
• 21:14
  know,
• 21:15
  it's
• 21:15
  an
• 21:15
  interesting
• 21:15
  thing
• 21:15
  too
• 21:16
  because
• 21:16
  I
• 21:16
  think
• 21:16
  there
• 21:16
  are
• 21:16
  all
• 21:17
  of
• 21:17
  these
• 21:17
  little
• 21:17
  details
• 21:19
  that
• 21:19
  go
• 21:20
  into
• 21:20
  your
• 21:20
  fly
• 21:20
  lines
• 21:21
  that
• 21:21
  I
• 21:21
  think,
• 21:21
  you
• 21:21
  know,
• 21:21
  the
• 21:21
  average
• 21:22
  consumer,
• 21:23
  you
• 21:23
  know,
• 21:23
  wouldn't
• 21:24
  appreciate.
• 21:24
  I
• 21:24
  mean,
• 21:24
  whether
• 21:25
  it's,
• 21:25
  you
• 21:25
  know,
• 21:25
  the
• 21:25
  stamping
• 21:26
  on
• 21:26
  the
• 21:26
  tips
• 21:26
  now,
• 21:27
  which
• 21:27
  I
• 21:27
  think
• 21:27
  is
• 21:27
  phenomenal,
• 21:28
  but
• 21:29
  also,
• 21:29
  you
• 21:29
  know,
• 21:29
  like
• 21:30
  having
• 21:30
  done
• 21:30
  these
• 21:30
  interviews
• 21:30
  for
• 21:31
  the
• 21:31
  butcher
• 21:31
  shop
• 21:31
  and
• 21:31
  talking
• 21:32
  to
• 21:32
  guys
• 21:32
  and
• 21:32
  they'll
• 21:32
  say,
• 21:32
  well,
• 21:33
  you
• 21:33
  know,
• 21:33
  we
• 21:33
  really
• 21:34
  like
• 21:34
  it
• 21:34
  because
• 21:34
  essay
• 21:34
  made
• 21:35
  the
• 21:35
  running
• 21:35
  line
• 21:35
  thicker
• 21:36
  so
• 21:36
  it
• 21:36
  doesn't
• 21:36
  tangle
• 21:36
  as
• 21:37
  much.
• 21:37
  And
• 21:37
  you
• 21:38
  know,
• 21:38
  I
• 21:38
  was
• 21:38
  kind
• 21:38
  of
• 21:38
  curious
• 21:38
  if
• 21:39
  you
• 21:39
  could
• 21:39
  kind
• 21:39
  of
• 21:39
  share
• 21:39
  some
• 21:40
  of
• 21:40
  those
• 21:40
  kind
• 21:40
  of
• 21:40
  under
• 21:40
  the
• 21:41
  hood
• 21:42
  line
• 21:42
  details
• 21:42
  that
• 21:42
  the
• 21:42
  average
• 21:43
  consumer
• 21:43
  wouldn't
• 21:43
  know
• 21:44
  about
• 21:44
  but
• 21:44
  would
• 21:45
  really
• 21:45
  appreciate.
• 21:47
  Yeah,
• 21:47
  I
• 21:48
  mean
• 21:48
  that's,
• 21:50
  I
• 21:50
  don't
• 21:50
  know
• 21:50
  if
• 21:50
  there's
• 21:51
  a
• 21:51
  real
• 21:51
  good
• 21:51
  single
• 21:52
  overarching
• 21:52
  one.
• 21:53
  I
• 21:53
  mean,
• 21:53
  since
• 21:53
  we're
• 21:53
  on
• 21:53
  the
• 21:54
  butcher
• 21:54
  shop,
• 21:54
  I
• 21:54
  guess
• 21:54
  we,
• 21:54
  the,
• 21:55
  the
• 21:55
  running
• 21:55
  line
• 21:55
  diameter
• 21:56
  that
• 21:56
  you
• 21:56
  brought
• 21:57
  up
• 21:57
  is
• 21:57
  a
• 21:57
  pretty
• 21:57
  good
• 21:58
  example.
• 21:58
  So
• 21:59
  we
• 21:59
  have,
• 21:59
  we're
• 21:59
  now
• 22:00
  on
• 22:00
  our,
• 22:00
  we
• 22:00
  call
• 22:01
  it
• 22:01
  musky
• 22:01
  gen
• 22:02
  2
• 22:02
  series
• 22:03
  of
• 22:03
  sinking
• 22:03
  lines.
• 22:04
  And
• 22:06
  before
• 22:07
  the
• 22:07
  first
• 22:07
  gen
• 22:07
  of
• 22:08
  our
• 22:08
  branded
• 22:09
  muskie
• 22:09
  line,
• 22:10
  most
• 22:10
  guys
• 22:10
  were
• 22:10
  just
• 22:10
  fishing
• 22:11
  our
• 22:11
  sync
• 22:11
  25
• 22:11

• 22:12
  again.
• 22:13
  We
• 22:13
  made
• 22:13
  it
• 22:13
  up
• 22:13
  to
• 22:14
  I
• 22:14
  think
• 22:14
  at
• 22:14
  least
• 22:15
  a
• 22:15
  500
• 22:15
  at
• 22:15
  some
• 22:16
  point,
• 22:16
  but
• 22:16
  most
• 22:16
  recently
• 22:16
  a
• 22:17
  450.
• 22:18
  And
• 22:19
  Muskie
• 22:19
  Gen1
• 22:20
  came
• 22:20
  from
• 22:20
  enough
• 22:21
  muskie
• 22:21
  anglers
• 22:21
  reaching
• 22:22
  out
• 22:22
  and
• 22:22
  being
• 22:22
  like,
• 22:22
  hey,
• 22:22
  I
• 22:22
  think
• 22:23
  we
• 22:23
  need
• 22:23
  to
• 22:23
  tweak
• 22:23
  this
• 22:23
  thing
• 22:23
  a
• 22:24
  little
• 22:24
  bit
• 22:24
  and
• 22:24
  we
• 22:24
  can
• 22:24
  make
• 22:24
  it
• 22:25
  musky
• 22:25
  specific.
• 22:25
  There's
• 22:26
  enough
• 22:27
  fire
• 22:27
  behind
• 22:28
  muskie
• 22:29
  fishing
• 22:29
  now
• 22:29
  that
• 22:29
  I
• 22:30
  think
• 22:30
  a
• 22:31
  branded
• 22:31
  line
• 22:31
  would
• 22:32
  work
• 22:32
  well.
• 22:33
  And
• 22:33
  so
• 22:33
  we
• 22:33
  made
• 22:33
  that
• 22:34
  line
• 22:34
  and
• 22:35
  it
• 22:35
  didn't
• 22:35
  do
• 22:36
  very
• 22:36
  well.
• 22:36
  To
• 22:36
  be
• 22:36
  honest,
• 22:37
  I
• 22:37
  don't
• 22:38
  think
• 22:38
  I
• 22:38
  included
• 22:38
  enough
• 22:38
  pro
• 22:39
  staffers
• 22:39
  in
• 22:39
  the
• 22:39
  design
• 22:40
  and
• 22:40
  development
• 22:40
  of
• 22:40
  that
• 22:40
  thing.
• 22:41
  And
• 22:41
  that's
• 22:41
  mostly
• 22:42
  on
• 22:42
  me.
• 22:42
  And
• 22:42
  so
• 22:43
  when
• 22:43
  we
• 22:43
  did
• 22:43
  Gen
• 22:43
  2,
• 22:43
  I
• 22:44
  tried
• 22:44
  to
• 22:44
  include
• 22:44
  a
• 22:44
  lot
• 22:45
  more
• 22:45
  people.
• 22:45
  And
• 22:46
  one
• 22:46
  of
• 22:46
  the.
• 22:46
  The
• 22:46
  biggest
• 22:47
  pieces
• 22:47
  of
• 22:47
  feedback
• 22:48
  was
• 22:48
  the
• 22:48
  running
• 22:49
  line
• 22:49
  diameter.
• 22:50
  Most
• 22:50
  guys
• 22:50
  want
• 22:51
  a.
• 22:51
  You
• 22:51
  know,
• 22:51
  in
• 22:52
  my
• 22:52
  mind,
• 22:52
  on
• 22:52
  the
• 22:52
  original
• 22:53
  version,
• 22:53
  you
• 22:54
  want
• 22:54
  a
• 22:54
  smaller
• 22:54
  diameter
• 22:55
  running
• 22:55
  line
• 22:55
  so
• 22:55
  you
• 22:55
  could
• 22:55
  shoot
• 22:56
  a
• 22:56
  mile
• 22:56
  if
• 22:56
  you
• 22:56
  had
• 22:56
  to.
• 22:57
  But
• 22:58
  that
• 22:58
  was
• 22:58
  only
• 22:58
  thinking
• 22:59
  about
• 22:59
  half
• 22:59
  of
• 22:59
  the
• 22:59
  equation.
• 23:00
  And
• 23:01
  most
• 23:01
  serious
• 23:01
  musky
• 23:02
  anglers
• 23:03
  that
• 23:03
  I
• 23:03
  talked
• 23:03
  to
• 23:04
  wanted
• 23:04
  a
• 23:04
  thicker
• 23:04
  diameter
• 23:05
  running
• 23:05
  line
• 23:06
  because
• 23:06
  they
• 23:06
  wanted
• 23:06
  to
• 23:06
  be
• 23:06
  able
• 23:07
  to
• 23:07
  strip
• 23:07
  set
• 23:07
  with
• 23:07
  a
• 23:07
  lot
• 23:08
  of
• 23:08
  force.
• 23:09
  They
• 23:09
  were
• 23:09
  more
• 23:09
  concerned
• 23:10
  about
• 23:10
  once
• 23:10
  they
• 23:11
  fed
• 23:11
  a
• 23:11
  fish,
• 23:12
  getting
• 23:12
  it
• 23:12
  to
• 23:12
  hand
• 23:13
  than
• 23:13
  they
• 23:13
  were
• 23:13
  about
• 23:14
  delivering
• 23:14
  a
• 23:14
  fly
• 23:15
  an
• 23:15
  extra
• 23:16
  feet.
• 23:16
  And,
• 23:16
  you
• 23:17
  know,
• 23:17
  hindsight's
• 23:17
  20
• 23:18
  20,
• 23:18
  it
• 23:18
  makes
• 23:18
  total
• 23:18
  sense,
• 23:19
  but
• 23:19
  there's
• 23:19
  a
• 23:20
  lot
• 23:20
  of
• 23:20
  little
• 23:20
  nuanced
• 23:21
  things
• 23:21
  like
• 23:21
  that
• 23:22
  where
• 23:22
  you
• 23:22
  change
• 23:22
  the.
• 23:23
  The
• 23:23
  running
• 23:24
  line
• 23:24
  diameter,
• 23:24
  you
• 23:25
  know,
• 23:25
  literally
• 23:25
  the.
• 23:26
  The
• 23:26
  thickness
• 23:26
  of
• 23:27
  a
• 23:27
  sheet
• 23:27
  of
• 23:27
  paper,
• 23:28
  and
• 23:28
  all
• 23:28
  of
• 23:28
  a
• 23:28
  sudden
• 23:29
  it
• 23:29
  performs
• 23:29
  a
• 23:29
  lot
• 23:30
  better
• 23:30
  for
• 23:31
  your
• 23:31
  average
• 23:31
  muskie
• 23:32
  guy
• 23:32
  than
• 23:32
  it
• 23:32
  did
• 23:32
  before.
• 23:34
  Yeah,
• 23:34
  I
• 23:34
  think
• 23:34
  one
• 23:34
  of
• 23:35
  the
• 23:35
  neat
• 23:35
  things,
• 23:35
  too.
• 23:35
  I'm
• 23:35
  not
• 23:36
  sure
• 23:36
  if
• 23:36
  it's
• 23:36
  that
• 23:36
  line
• 23:36
  or
• 23:37
  not,
• 23:37
  but
• 23:37
  I
• 23:37
  really
• 23:37
  like
• 23:38
  the
• 23:38
  way
• 23:38
  you
• 23:38
  guys
• 23:38
  color
• 23:39
  code
• 23:39
  the
• 23:39
  head
• 23:39
  and
• 23:39
  the
• 23:40
  running
• 23:40
  line
• 23:40
  so
• 23:40
  that
• 23:40
  when
• 23:41
  you're
• 23:41
  casting,
• 23:41
  you
• 23:41
  have
• 23:41
  that
• 23:42
  visual
• 23:42
  cue
• 23:44
  that
• 23:44
  you've
• 23:44
  got
• 23:44
  the
• 23:45
  head
• 23:45
  out
• 23:45
  of
• 23:45
  the
• 23:45
  rod
• 23:45
  tip
• 23:46
  and
• 23:46
  it's
• 23:46
  time
• 23:46
  to,
• 23:46
  like,
• 23:47
  you
• 23:47
  know,
• 23:47
  deliver
• 23:47
  the
• 23:47
  fly.
• 23:48
  Yep.
• 23:49
  Yeah,
• 23:49
  that's
• 23:49
  a
• 23:49
  big
• 23:49
  one.
• 23:49
  That
• 23:50
  was
• 23:50
  another
• 23:51
  pretty
• 23:51
  big
• 23:51
  piece
• 23:51
  of
• 23:51
  feedback
• 23:52
  from
• 23:52
  Blaine
• 23:52
  specifically
• 23:53
  was
• 23:53
  Muskie
• 23:54
  Gen
• 23:54
  1.
• 23:54
  The
• 23:55
  color
• 23:55
  of
• 23:55
  the
• 23:55
  running
• 23:56
  line
• 23:56
  was
• 23:56
  similar
• 23:57
  enough
• 23:57
  to
• 23:57
  the
• 23:57
  head
• 23:57
  that
• 23:57
  it
• 23:58
  was
• 23:58
  hard
• 23:58
  to
• 23:58
  see
• 23:58
  that
• 23:58
  transition,
• 23:59
  especially
• 23:59
  in
• 24:00
  low
• 24:00
  light.
• 24:01
  Blaine
• 24:01
  wanted,
• 24:02
  I
• 24:02
  believe,
• 24:02
  a
• 24:02
  bright
• 24:03
  orange
• 24:03
  running
• 24:04
  line.
• 24:04
  And
• 24:04
  we
• 24:04
  have.
• 24:05
  We
• 24:05
  still
• 24:05
  have
• 24:06
  some
• 24:07
  anglers
• 24:07
  in
• 24:07
  the
• 24:07
  market
• 24:08
  that
• 24:08
  are
• 24:08
  very
• 24:09
  cautious
• 24:10
  to
• 24:10
  fish
• 24:10
  an
• 24:10
  orange
• 24:11
  line,
• 24:11
  I'll
• 24:11
  say,
• 24:12
  because
• 24:12
  they
• 24:12
  believe
• 24:12
  it
• 24:12
  scares
• 24:13
  fish.
• 24:13
  So
• 24:13
  we
• 24:13
  tried
• 24:14
  to
• 24:14
  find
• 24:14
  a
• 24:14
  kind
• 24:14
  of
• 24:15
  a
• 24:15
  happy
• 24:15
  medium
• 24:15
  and
• 24:15
  just
• 24:15
  get
• 24:16
  as
• 24:16
  much
• 24:16
  contrast
• 24:16
  in
• 24:16
  there
• 24:17
  as
• 24:17
  we
• 24:17
  possibly
• 24:17
  could
• 24:17
  without
• 24:18
  going
• 24:18
  bright
• 24:19
  orange.
• 24:20
  Yeah,
• 24:20
  very
• 24:20
  neat.
• 24:20
  It's
• 24:21
  kind
• 24:21
  of
• 24:21
  a
• 24:21
  pastel
• 24:21
  kind
• 24:22
  of,
• 24:22
  you
• 24:22
  know,
• 24:22
  orange,
• 24:23
  yellow
• 24:23
  color.
• 24:23
  Yeah,
• 24:24
  it's
• 24:24
  kind
• 24:24
  of
• 24:24
  cool.
• 24:25
  Yeah.
• 24:25
  And
• 24:26
  so
• 24:26
  it's
• 24:26
  kind
• 24:26
  of
• 24:26
  interesting
• 24:27
  because,
• 24:27
  you
• 24:27
  know,
• 24:27
  if
• 24:27
  I
• 24:27
  go
• 24:27
  back
• 24:27
  in
• 24:28
  kind
• 24:28
  of
• 24:28
  my
• 24:28
  time
• 24:28
  time
• 24:29
  machine,
• 24:29
  it's
• 24:29
  kind
• 24:29
  of
• 24:29
  funny.
• 24:30
  Right.
• 24:30
  I've
• 24:30
  interviewed
• 24:31
  Russ
• 24:31
  Madden
• 24:31
  and,
• 24:32
  you
• 24:32
  know,
• 24:32
  we're
• 24:32
  talking
• 24:33
  about
• 24:33
  a
• 24:33
  time
• 24:33
  kind
• 24:34
  of
• 24:34
  in
• 24:34
  the
• 24:34
  early
• 24:34
  2000s
• 24:35
  where,
• 24:35
  you
• 24:36
  know,
• 24:36
  literally
• 24:36
  there
• 24:36
  were
• 24:37
  almost
• 24:37
  no
• 24:37
  sinking
• 24:38
  lines.
• 24:38
  Right.
• 24:38
  And
• 24:39
  people
• 24:39
  were
• 24:39
  making
• 24:39
  their
• 24:40
  own.
• 24:40
  And
• 24:41
  kind
• 24:41
  of
• 24:41
  one
• 24:41
  of
• 24:41
  the
• 24:41
  things
• 24:42
  that's
• 24:42
  kind
• 24:42
  of
• 24:42
  happened
• 24:43
  is,
• 24:43
  you
• 24:43
  know,
• 24:43
  when
• 24:43
  you
• 24:44
  had
• 24:44
  fewer
• 24:44
  line,
• 24:46
  it
• 24:46
  means
• 24:46
  you
• 24:46
  have
• 24:46
  to
• 24:47
  do
• 24:47
  different
• 24:47
  things
• 24:48
  from
• 24:48
  a
• 24:48
  Technique
• 24:48
  and
• 24:49
  a
• 24:49
  fly
• 24:49
  design
• 24:49
  perspective
• 24:50
  to
• 24:51
  fish
• 24:51
  the
• 24:51
  fly.
• 24:51
  Creative.
• 24:52
  Yeah,
• 24:52
  you
• 24:52
  have
• 24:52
  to
• 24:52
  get
• 24:53
  creative.
• 24:53
  And
• 24:53
  so,
• 24:53
  but
• 24:54
  the
• 24:54
  flip
• 24:54
  side
• 24:54
  of
• 24:54
  that
• 24:55
  is,
• 24:55
  you
• 24:55
  know,
• 24:55
  now
• 24:55
  you
• 24:56
  guys
• 24:56
  are
• 24:56
  solving
• 24:57
  a
• 24:57
  lot
• 24:57
  of
• 24:57
  these
• 24:58
  presentation
• 24:58
  and
• 24:58
  delivery
• 24:59
  issues,
• 25:00
  and
• 25:00
  it's
• 25:01
  changed,
• 25:01
  you
• 25:01
  know,
• 25:02
  the
• 25:02
  way
• 25:02
  people
• 25:02
  can
• 25:03
  fish
• 25:03
  and
• 25:03
  also
• 25:03
  their
• 25:04
  fly
• 25:04
  designs.
• 25:04
  Right.
• 25:04
  So,
• 25:05
  like,
• 25:05
  Russ
• 25:05
  talks
• 25:05
  about,
• 25:06
  you
• 25:06
  know,
• 25:06
  being
• 25:06
  fishing
• 25:07
  lighter
• 25:07
  circus
• 25:07
  peanuts.
• 25:08
  So
• 25:08
  it's
• 25:08
  kind
• 25:08
  of
• 25:08
  curious,
• 25:09
  you
• 25:09
  know,
• 25:09
  if
• 25:09
  you
• 25:10
  kind
• 25:10
  of
• 25:10
  have
• 25:10
  a.
• 25:11
  A
• 25:11
  viewpoint
• 25:12
  on
• 25:12
  kind
• 25:12
  of
• 25:12
  the
• 25:12
  changes
• 25:12
  you've
• 25:13
  seen
• 25:13
  in
• 25:13
  fly
• 25:13
  design
• 25:14
  and
• 25:14
  kind
• 25:14
  of
• 25:14
  fishing
• 25:15
  techniques,
• 25:15
  because
• 25:15
  people
• 25:16
  have
• 25:16
  been
• 25:16
  able
• 25:16
  to
• 25:16
  get
• 25:17
  much
• 25:17
  more
• 25:17
  specialized
• 25:18
  delivery
• 25:18
  tools.
• 25:19
  Sir.
• 25:20
  Yeah,
• 25:20
  I
• 25:20
  mean,
• 25:20
  I
• 25:20
  think
• 25:20
  the
• 25:20
  most
• 25:21
  obvious
• 25:21
  one
• 25:21
  is
• 25:21
  just
• 25:22
  if
• 25:22
  you're
• 25:22
  talking
• 25:22
  about
• 25:22
  streamer
• 25:23
  fishing
• 25:23
  specifically
• 25:24
  is
• 25:24
  the
• 25:24
  size
• 25:24
  of
• 25:24
  flies.
• 25:25
  I
• 25:26
  mean,
• 25:26
  Russ
• 25:26
  will
• 25:26
  say
• 25:26
  a
• 25:27
  small
• 25:27
  peanut,
• 25:28
  but
• 25:28
  even
• 25:28
  a
• 25:28
  small
• 25:29
  peanut,
• 25:29
  by
• 25:29
  comparison
• 25:30
  to
• 25:30
  a,
• 25:30
  you
• 25:30
  know,
• 25:30
  normal
• 25:31
  streamer
• 25:32
  decades
• 25:32
  ago,
• 25:32
  is
• 25:33
  still
• 25:33
  pretty
• 25:33
  large.
• 25:34
  So
• 25:35
  that's.
• 25:35
  That's
• 25:35
  probably
• 25:36
  the.
• 25:36
  The
• 25:36
  largest
• 25:37
  technique.
• 25:37
  But
• 25:38
  even
• 25:38
  with,
• 25:39
  you
• 25:39
  know,
• 25:39
  the
• 25:39
  advent
• 25:40
  of
• 25:40
  swim
• 25:40
  flies
• 25:40
  and
• 25:40
  things
• 25:41
  like
• 25:41
  that,
• 25:42
  supplies
• 25:42
  that
• 25:42
  are
• 25:42
  neutrally
• 25:43
  buoyant
• 25:43
  that
• 25:43
  you
• 25:43
  want
• 25:43
  to
• 25:44
  hover.
• 25:44
  I
• 25:44
  think
• 25:44
  that's
• 25:45
  been
• 25:45
  kind
• 25:45
  of
• 25:45
  an
• 25:45
  interesting
• 25:45
  one
• 25:46
  for
• 25:46
  me.
• 25:47
  We're
• 25:47
  coming
• 25:47
  out
• 25:48
  with
• 25:49
  a
• 25:49
  new
• 25:49
  density
• 25:50
  in
• 25:50
  our
• 25:50
  sync25
• 25:51
  this
• 25:51
  year.
• 25:52
  So
• 25:52
  sync25
• 25:53
  has
• 25:53
  been
• 25:53
  around
• 25:53
  forever.
• 25:54
  It
• 25:54
  used
• 25:54
  to
• 25:54
  be
• 25:54
  called
• 25:55
  the
• 25:55
  Streamer
• 25:55
  Express,
• 25:56
  and
• 25:56
  we
• 25:56
  rebranded
• 25:57
  it
• 25:57
  actually
• 25:57
  before
• 25:58
  I
• 25:58
  started
• 25:58
  at
• 25:58
  sa,
• 25:59
  but
• 25:59
  it's
• 25:59
  been
• 26:00
  here
• 26:00
  ever
• 26:00
  since
• 26:00
  I've
• 26:01
  been
• 26:01
  around.
• 26:01
  And
• 26:01
  Russ
• 26:02
  has
• 26:02
  been
• 26:02
  a
• 26:03
  pretty
• 26:03
  big
• 26:03
  advocate
• 26:04
  of
• 26:04
  adding
• 26:04
  a
• 26:05
  slower
• 26:05
  syncing
• 26:06
  density
• 26:06
  to
• 26:06
  that
• 26:07
  range.
• 26:07
  So
• 26:07
  we're
• 26:07
  adding
• 26:07
  a
• 26:08
  sync
• 26:08
  3,
• 26:09
  the
• 26:09
  original
• 26:09
  one.
• 26:09
  The
• 26:10
  current
• 26:10
  one
• 26:10
  is
• 26:10
  a
• 26:11
  sync
• 26:11
  5,
• 26:11
  I
• 26:11
  think
• 26:12
  sync
• 26:12
  5
• 26:12
  or
• 26:12
  sync
• 26:12
  6.
• 26:13
  And
• 26:14
  his
• 26:14
  whole
• 26:14
  point
• 26:15
  was,
• 26:15
  you
• 26:15
  know,
• 26:15
  I
• 26:15
  just
• 26:16
  want
• 26:16
  to
• 26:16
  be
• 26:16
  able
• 26:16
  to
• 26:16
  fish
• 26:17
  different
• 26:17
  sections
• 26:17
  of
• 26:17
  the
• 26:18
  water
• 26:18
  column,
• 26:19
  but
• 26:19
  still
• 26:19
  have
• 26:19
  the
• 26:19
  same
• 26:20
  delivery
• 26:20
  as
• 26:20
  the
• 26:21
  Sync25.
• 26:21
  And
• 26:22
  so
• 26:22
  I
• 26:22
  made
• 26:22
  him
• 26:22
  a
• 26:22
  couple
• 26:22
  samples,
• 26:23
  and
• 26:23
  he
• 26:24
  absolutely
• 26:24
  loved
• 26:24
  it
• 26:24
  and
• 26:25
  crushed
• 26:25
  it
• 26:26
  with
• 26:26
  it
• 26:26
  for
• 26:26
  a
• 26:26
  couple
• 26:27
  seasons,
• 26:27
  I
• 26:27
  think
• 26:27
  at
• 26:28
  least
• 26:28
  a
• 26:28
  season
• 26:28
  and
• 26:28
  a
• 26:28
  half.
• 26:29
  And,
• 26:29
  you
• 26:30
  know,
• 26:30
  it's
• 26:30
  just
• 26:30
  what
• 26:30
  I
• 26:30
  described.
• 26:31
  We
• 26:32
  had
• 26:32
  an
• 26:32
  idea
• 26:32
  come
• 26:32
  from
• 26:32
  a
• 26:33
  pro
• 26:33
  staffer
• 26:33
  external
• 26:34
  to
• 26:34
  the
• 26:34
  company,
• 26:34
  because
• 26:35
  Russ's
• 26:36
  fishing
• 26:36
  streamers
• 26:37
  way
• 26:37
  more
• 26:37
  than
• 26:37
  I
• 26:38
  ever
• 26:38
  will
• 26:38
  in
• 26:38
  my
• 26:38
  life.
• 26:39
  And
• 26:39
  I
• 26:39
  trust
• 26:39
  his
• 26:39
  opinion.
• 26:40
  And,
• 26:40
  you
• 26:40
  know,
• 26:40
  now
• 26:40
  we
• 26:40
  have
• 26:41
  another
• 26:41
  good
• 26:41
  addition
• 26:41
  to
• 26:42
  our
• 26:42
  streamer
• 26:42
  line.
• 26:43
  Very,
• 26:43
  very
• 26:44
  cool.
• 26:44
  And
• 26:44
  we
• 26:44
  talked
• 26:44
  a
• 26:45
  little
• 26:45
  bit
• 26:45
  about
• 26:45
  the
• 26:45
  fly
• 26:45
  line
• 26:46
  arms
• 26:46
  race,
• 26:46
  and
• 26:46
  I
• 26:46
  guess
• 26:47
  we'll
• 26:47
  maybe
• 26:47
  segue
• 26:47
  to
• 26:48
  the.
• 26:48
  To
• 26:48
  the
• 26:48
  rod
• 26:49
  arms
• 26:50
  race.
• 26:50
  And,
• 26:50
  you
• 26:50
  know,
• 26:51
  there's
• 26:51
  a
• 26:51
  similar
• 26:51
  impact
• 26:52
  on
• 26:53
  basically,
• 26:54
  you
• 26:54
  know,
• 26:54
  the
• 26:54
  impact
• 26:55
  of
• 26:55
  the
• 26:55
  lines
• 26:55
  on
• 26:55
  rod
• 26:56
  design
• 26:56
  and
• 26:56
  casting
• 26:57
  skills.
• 26:57
  You
• 26:57
  know,
• 26:57
  what
• 26:58
  are
• 26:58
  your
• 26:58
  thoughts
• 26:58
  there?
• 27:00
  You
• 27:01
  know,
• 27:01
  I,
• 27:01
  I
• 27:01
  think
• 27:01
  we
• 27:02
  have
• 27:02
  a
• 27:02
  ton
• 27:02
  of
• 27:02
  good
• 27:03
  rod
• 27:03
  options
• 27:03
  now,
• 27:04
  and
• 27:04
  I
• 27:04
  think
• 27:04
  if
• 27:04
  you
• 27:04
  looked
• 27:05
  at
• 27:05
  rods,
• 27:05
  you
• 27:05
  know,
• 27:05
  maybe
• 27:06
  20
• 27:08
  compared
• 27:08
  to
• 27:08
  now,
• 27:09
  it's
• 27:09
  actually
• 27:09
  hard
• 27:09
  to
• 27:10
  find
• 27:10
  a
• 27:10
  bad
• 27:10
  rod.
• 27:11
  I
• 27:11
  would
• 27:11
  say,
• 27:11
  you
• 27:12
  know,
• 27:12
  rod
• 27:12
  technology's
• 27:13
  come
• 27:13
  so
• 27:13
  far.
• 27:13
  I
• 27:14
  think
• 27:14
  as
• 27:14
  a,
• 27:14
  as
• 27:14
  a
• 27:15
  line
• 27:15
  manufacturer,
• 27:15
  the
• 27:16
  one
• 27:16
  thing
• 27:16
  that
• 27:16
  kind
• 27:16
  of
• 27:16
  scares
• 27:16
  me
• 27:17
  is
• 27:17
  the,
• 27:18
  I
• 27:19
  don't
• 27:19
  really
• 27:19
  know
• 27:19
  how
• 27:19
  to
• 27:19
  say
• 27:19
  it
• 27:21
  correctly,
• 27:21
  but
• 27:22
  the
• 27:22
  one
• 27:22
  thing
• 27:22
  that
• 27:22
  scares
• 27:22
  me
• 27:23
  is
• 27:23
  the
• 27:23
  proliferation
• 27:23
  of
• 27:24
  overweighted
• 27:24
  lines
• 27:25
  sort
• 27:25
  of
• 27:25
  as
• 27:26
  a
• 27:26
  compensation
• 27:27
  for
• 27:27
  fast
• 27:28
  action
• 27:28
  rods,
• 27:28
  for
• 27:29
  lack
• 27:29
  of
• 27:29
  better
• 27:29
  term.
• 27:30
  So
• 27:30
  there's,
• 27:31
  you
• 27:32
  know,
• 27:32
  it's,
• 27:32
  and
• 27:32
  it,
• 27:32
  it
• 27:33
  has
• 27:33
  a
• 27:33
  potential
• 27:33
  to
• 27:34
  sort
• 27:34
  of
• 27:34
  spiral
• 27:34
  out
• 27:35
  of
• 27:35
  control.
• 27:35
  You
• 27:35
  know,
• 27:36
  if
• 27:36
  a,
• 27:37
  if
• 27:37
  a
• 27:37
  rod
• 27:38
  manufacturer
• 27:38
  makes
• 27:39
  a
• 27:39
  fast
• 27:39
  action
• 27:39
  rod
• 27:40
  and
• 27:41
  your
• 27:41
  average
• 27:41
  consumer
• 27:42
  can't
• 27:42
  cast
• 27:42
  it.
• 27:42
  So
• 27:43
  SA
• 27:43
  makes
• 27:44
  a
• 27:44
  half
• 27:45
  heavy
• 27:45
  line
• 27:46
  and
• 27:46
  then
• 27:46
  the
• 27:46
  rod
• 27:47
  manufacturer
• 27:48
  on
• 27:48
  the
• 27:48
  next
• 27:48
  cycle
• 27:49
  uses
• 27:49
  a
• 27:49
  half
• 27:49
  heavy
• 27:50
  line
• 27:50
  to
• 27:50
  develop
• 27:50
  their
• 27:50
  new
• 27:51
  fast
• 27:51
  action
• 27:51
  rod.
• 27:52
  You
• 27:52
  can
• 27:52
  see
• 27:52
  how
• 27:52
  this
• 27:52
  thing
• 27:53
  can
• 27:53
  sort
• 27:53
  of
• 27:53
  snowball
• 27:53
  and
• 27:54
  get
• 27:54
  out
• 27:54
  of
• 27:54
  control.
• 27:55
  So
• 27:55
  I,
• 27:55
  I
• 27:56
  would
• 27:56
  say,
• 27:56
  you
• 27:57
  know,
• 27:57
  it's,
• 27:57
  it's,
• 27:58
  it's,
• 27:58
  it
• 27:58
  lingers
• 27:59
  in
• 27:59
  the
• 27:59
  back
• 27:59
  of
• 27:59
  my
• 28:00
  mind.
• 28:00
  I'm
• 28:00
  not
• 28:00
  super
• 28:01
  worried
• 28:01
  about
• 28:01
  it,
• 28:02
  but
• 28:02
  if
• 28:02
  I
• 28:02
  could
• 28:02
  change
• 28:03
  anything
• 28:03
  about
• 28:04
  the
• 28:04
  rod
• 28:05
  arms
• 28:05
  race,
• 28:05
  it
• 28:05
  would
• 28:06
  be
• 28:06
  trying
• 28:07
  to
• 28:07
  get
• 28:07
  back
• 28:07
  to,
• 28:08
  you
• 28:08
  know,
• 28:08
  an
• 28:08
  after
• 28:09
  standard
• 28:10
  line
• 28:12
  when
• 28:12
  they're,
• 28:13
  I
• 28:13
  would
• 28:13
  try
• 28:13
  to
• 28:14
  get
• 28:14
  the
• 28:14
  rod
• 28:14
  designers
• 28:15
  to
• 28:15
  use
• 28:15
  more
• 28:15
  after
• 28:15
  standard
• 28:16
  lines
• 28:16
  and
• 28:16
  consider
• 28:17
  the
• 28:17
  average
• 28:17
  caster's
• 28:18
  ability
• 28:19
  when
• 28:19
  they
• 28:19
  are
• 28:19
  designing
• 28:20
  rods
• 28:21
  just
• 28:21
  so
• 28:21
  this
• 28:21
  doesn't
• 28:21
  have
• 28:22
  a
• 28:22
  propensity
• 28:22
  to,
• 28:23
  you
• 28:23
  know,
• 28:23
  get
• 28:23
  out
• 28:23
  of
• 28:23
  control.
• 28:24
  Yeah.
• 28:25
  It's
• 28:25
  interesting
• 28:25
  too,
• 28:25
  because
• 28:26
  I
• 28:26
  mean,
• 28:26
  I've
• 28:26
  learned
• 28:26
  a
• 28:27
  lot
• 28:27
  about
• 28:27
  kind
• 28:27
  of
• 28:28
  fast
• 28:28
  action
• 28:28
  rod
• 28:29
  preferences
• 28:29
  by
• 28:30
  starting,
• 28:30
  you
• 28:30
  know,
• 28:30
  working
• 28:31
  on
• 28:31
  the
• 28:31
  butcher
• 28:31
  shop.
• 28:31
  And
• 28:32
  it's
• 28:32
  interesting
• 28:32
  how,
• 28:33
  you
• 28:34
  know,
• 28:34
  the
• 28:34
  streamer
• 28:34
  guys,
• 28:35
  as
• 28:35
  a
• 28:35
  general
• 28:35
  rule,
• 28:36
  want
• 28:36
  a
• 28:36
  really
• 28:36
  fast
• 28:37
  rod
• 28:37
  with
• 28:37
  a
• 28:37
  really
• 28:38
  stiff
• 28:38
  tip
• 28:38
  because
• 28:39
  they
• 28:39
  want
• 28:40
  to
• 28:40
  be
• 28:40
  able
• 28:40
  to
• 28:40
  manage,
• 28:41
  you
• 28:41
  know,
• 28:41
  the
• 28:42
  action
• 28:42
  that
• 28:42
  they
• 28:42
  put
• 28:42
  into
• 28:42
  the
• 28:43
  flies.
• 28:43
  Right.
• 28:44
  But
• 28:44
  to
• 28:44
  your
• 28:45
  point,
• 28:45
  you
• 28:45
  know,
• 28:45
  if
• 28:45
  you
• 28:45
  back
• 28:45
  out
• 28:46
  and
• 28:46
  say
• 28:46
  you
• 28:46
  take
• 28:46
  like,
• 28:47
  like
• 28:47
  a
• 28:48
  Mac
• 28:48
  Brown,
• 28:48
  who's
• 28:48
  a
• 28:48
  more
• 28:49
  traditional,
• 28:49
  you
• 28:50
  know,
• 28:50
  trout
• 28:51
  angler
• 28:51
  and
• 28:51
  caster,
• 28:52
  he
• 28:52
  likes
• 28:52
  a
• 28:53
  medium
• 28:53
  fast
• 28:53
  rod
• 28:54
  and
• 28:54
  so
• 28:54
  he's,
• 28:54
  you
• 28:54
  know,
• 28:55
  always
• 28:55
  extolling
• 28:56
  the
• 28:56
  virtues
• 28:56
  of
• 28:56
  the
• 28:56
  old
• 28:56
  school
• 28:57
  double
• 28:57
  taper,
• 28:57
  Right?
• 28:59
  Yep.
• 29:00
  And
• 29:00
  Mac
• 29:00
  is
• 29:01
  one
• 29:01
  of
• 29:01
  the
• 29:01
  better
• 29:01
  casters
• 29:02
  I
• 29:02
  know
• 29:02
  for
• 29:02
  sure.
• 29:02
  So
• 29:03
  I
• 29:03
  would
• 29:03
  trust
• 29:03
  his
• 29:03
  opinion
• 29:04
  on
• 29:04
  that.
• 29:04
  Yeah,
• 29:05
  So,
• 29:05
  I
• 29:05
  mean,
• 29:05
  it's
• 29:05
  kind
• 29:05
  of
• 29:05
  an
• 29:05
  interesting
• 29:06
  thing
• 29:06
  which
• 29:06
  kind
• 29:06
  of,
• 29:06
  you
• 29:07
  know,
• 29:07
  gets
• 29:07
  us
• 29:07
  to
• 29:07
  kind
• 29:07
  of,
• 29:08
  you
• 29:08
  know,
• 29:08
  I
• 29:08
  think
• 29:08
  to
• 29:08
  your
• 29:09
  point,
• 29:09
  like
• 29:09
  having
• 29:09
  people
• 29:11
  really
• 29:11
  kind
• 29:11
  of
• 29:11
  understanding
• 29:12
  what
• 29:12
  they're
• 29:12
  trying
• 29:13
  to
• 29:13
  accomplish
• 29:13
  with
• 29:13
  their
• 29:14
  cast
• 29:14
  and
• 29:14
  their
• 29:14
  rod
• 29:15
  and
• 29:15
  then
• 29:15
  matching
• 29:15
  the
• 29:16
  line
• 29:16
  to
• 29:16
  that.
• 29:16
  Right?
• 29:17
  Yep.
• 29:18
  And
• 29:18
  I
• 29:18
  think
• 29:18
  one
• 29:18
  of
• 29:18
  the
• 29:19
  most
• 29:19
  confusing
• 29:19
  things
• 29:19
  for
• 29:19
  a
• 29:20
  beginning
• 29:20
  angler
• 29:20
  is
• 29:21
  not
• 29:21
  understanding
• 29:22
  that
• 29:22
  some
• 29:23
  lines
• 29:23
  are
• 29:24
  overweighted
• 29:24
  and
• 29:25
  they're
• 29:25
  overweighted
• 29:25
  for
• 29:25
  specific
• 29:26
  purposes.
• 29:27
  But
• 29:27
  they
• 29:27
  could
• 29:27
  also
• 29:27
  help
• 29:28
  you
• 29:28
  if
• 29:29
  you're,
• 29:29
  you
• 29:29
  know,
• 29:29
  you,
• 29:30
  you
• 29:30
  buy
• 29:30
  a
• 29:30
  high
• 29:30
  end
• 29:31
  rod,
• 29:31
  but
• 29:31
  you're
• 29:31
  maybe
• 29:32
  a
• 29:32
  novice
• 29:32
  caster.
• 29:34
  It's,
• 29:34
  it's
• 29:34
  hard
• 29:35
  to
• 29:35
  explain.
• 29:35
  As
• 29:36
  soon
• 29:36
  as
• 29:36
  you
• 29:36
  put
• 29:36
  a,
• 29:36
  an
• 29:37
  overweighted
• 29:37
  rig
• 29:37
  into
• 29:38
  someone's
• 29:38
  hand
• 29:38
  like
• 29:39
  that,
• 29:39
  it's,
• 29:39
  it's
• 29:39
  eye
• 29:40
  opening
• 29:40
  to
• 29:40
  see
• 29:40
  how
• 29:40
  much
• 29:40
  easier
• 29:41
  it
• 29:41
  can
• 29:41
  make
• 29:41
  it
• 29:41
  to
• 29:42
  cast.
• 29:42
  Yeah,
• 29:43
  it's
• 29:43
  interesting
• 29:43
  too.
• 29:43
  Like,
• 29:44
  I
• 29:44
  remember
• 29:44
  having
• 29:44
  this
• 29:45
  conversation
• 29:45
  with
• 29:45
  Brendan
• 29:46
  Roosch
• 29:46
  and
• 29:46
  he
• 29:46
  was
• 29:46
  talking
• 29:47
  about
• 29:47
  literally
• 29:47
  the
• 29:48
  difference
• 29:48
  between,
• 29:48
  because
• 29:49
  I
• 29:49
  know
• 29:49
  you
• 29:49
  guys
• 29:49
  make
• 29:49
  two
• 29:50
  times
• 29:50
  heavy
• 29:50
  lines
• 29:51
  and
• 29:51
  then
• 29:51
  I
• 29:51
  think
• 29:51
  your
• 29:51
  Infinity
• 29:52
  plus
• 29:52
  is
• 29:52
  one
• 29:52
  times
• 29:53
  heavy.
• 29:53
  And
• 29:54
  basically
• 29:54
  the
• 29:54
  difference
• 29:55
  between
• 29:55
  say
• 29:55
  taking,
• 29:57
  you
• 29:57
  know,
• 29:58
  a
• 29:58
  premium
• 29:58
  rod
• 29:59
  brand
• 29:59
  and
• 29:59
  there's
• 29:59
  like,
• 30:00
  let's
• 30:00
  just
• 30:00
  say
• 30:00
  the
• 30:00
  Pro
• 30:00
  stick
• 30:01
  and
• 30:01
  then
• 30:01
  there's
• 30:02
  the
• 30:02
  kind
• 30:02
  of,
• 30:02
  you
• 30:02
  know,
• 30:02
  general
• 30:03
  consumer
• 30:03
  stick
• 30:04
  and
• 30:04
  how
• 30:05
  literally
• 30:05
  just
• 30:05
  that
• 30:05
  difference
• 30:06
  between
• 30:06
  2x
• 30:07
  and
• 30:07
  1x
• 30:07
  is
• 30:07
  what
• 30:07
  you
• 30:08
  need
• 30:08
  to
• 30:08
  make
• 30:08
  those,
• 30:09
  those
• 30:09
  rods
• 30:10
  work
• 30:10
  the
• 30:10
  way
• 30:10
  they're
• 30:10
  supposed
• 30:11
  to.
• 30:11
  Exactly.
• 30:12
  Yep,
• 30:12
  yep,
• 30:12
  that's
• 30:13
  exactly
• 30:13
  it.
• 30:14
  And
• 30:14
  we
• 30:14
  essay,
• 30:15
  we're
• 30:15
  trying
• 30:15
  to
• 30:16
  be
• 30:16
  more
• 30:16
  transparent
• 30:17
  about
• 30:17
  overweighting.
• 30:18
  We,
• 30:18
  we
• 30:18
  never
• 30:18
  really
• 30:19
  wanted
• 30:19
  to
• 30:19
  hide
• 30:19
  it
• 30:19
  from
• 30:20
  anyone,
• 30:20
  but
• 30:21
  up
• 30:21
  until
• 30:22
  maybe
• 30:23
  four
• 30:23
  years
• 30:23
  ago,
• 30:23
  you
• 30:24
  had
• 30:24
  to
• 30:24
  understand,
• 30:24
  you
• 30:25
  know,
• 30:25
  grain
• 30:25
  weights
• 30:26
  and
• 30:26
  you
• 30:26
  had
• 30:26
  to
• 30:26
  interpret
• 30:26
  the
• 30:26
  chart
• 30:27
  on
• 30:27
  the
• 30:27
  back
• 30:27
  of
• 30:27
  the
• 30:27
  fly
• 30:28
  line
• 30:28
  carton
• 30:28
  to,
• 30:29
  to
• 30:29
  really
• 30:29
  figure
• 30:29
  out
• 30:29
  what
• 30:30
  was
• 30:30
  going
• 30:30
  on.
• 30:31
  Now
• 30:31
  on
• 30:31
  the
• 30:32
  front
• 30:32
  of
• 30:32
  the
• 30:32
  carton
• 30:33
  on
• 30:33
  the
• 30:34
  catalog
• 30:34
  page
• 30:35
  for
• 30:35
  each
• 30:35
  taper,
• 30:36
  I
• 30:36
  think
• 30:36
  right
• 30:37
  below
• 30:37
  the,
• 30:38
  the
• 30:38
  name
• 30:38
  of
• 30:38
  the
• 30:39
  taper
• 30:39
  actually
• 30:40
  is
• 30:40
  it
• 30:41
  calls
• 30:41
  out
• 30:41
  exactly
• 30:41
  how
• 30:42
  overweighted
• 30:42
  it
• 30:42
  is.
• 30:42
  So
• 30:43
  if
• 30:43
  you
• 30:43
  go
• 30:43
  to
• 30:43
  a,
• 30:43
  you
• 30:43
  know,
• 30:44
  a
• 30:44
  Titan,
• 30:45
  which
• 30:45
  is
• 30:45
  our,
• 30:45
  our
• 30:45
  two
• 30:46
  size
• 30:46
  heavy
• 30:46
  line,
• 30:47
  if
• 30:47
  you
• 30:47
  picked
• 30:48
  up
• 30:48
  a
• 30:48
  fly
• 30:48
  line
• 30:48
  card
• 30:48
  and
• 30:48
  right
• 30:49
  below
• 30:49
  the
• 30:49
  title,
• 30:49
  it's
• 30:49
  going
• 30:50
  to
• 30:50
  say
• 30:50
  two
• 30:50
  sizes
• 30:50
  heavy.
• 30:51
  If
• 30:51
  you
• 30:51
  pull
• 30:51
  up
• 30:51
  the
• 30:51
  catalog
• 30:52
  page,
• 30:52
  it'll
• 30:52
  say
• 30:53
  two
• 30:53
  sizes
• 30:53
  heavy.
• 30:53
  So
• 30:53
  we'
• 30:54
  make
• 30:54
  it
• 30:54
  as
• 30:55
  easy
• 30:55
  for
• 30:55
  consumers
• 30:56
  as
• 30:56
  possible
• 30:56
  to
• 30:56
  interpret
• 30:57
  what
• 30:57
  the
• 30:57
  line
• 30:57
  is
• 30:58
  intended
• 30:58
  to
• 30:58
  do.
• 30:59
  Yeah,
• 30:59
  I
• 30:59
  think
• 30:59
  the
• 30:59
  evolution
• 31:00
  in
• 31:00
  the
• 31:00
  website
• 31:00
  in
• 31:01
  the
• 31:01
  last
• 31:01
  few
• 31:01
  years
• 31:01
  with
• 31:01
  all
• 31:02
  that
• 31:02
  information
• 31:02
  and
• 31:02
  coatings
• 31:03
  and
• 31:03
  warm
• 31:04
  and
• 31:04
  cold
• 31:04
  and
• 31:04
  all
• 31:04
  that
• 31:05
  stuff
• 31:05
  is
• 31:05
  fantastically
• 31:06
  helpful.
• 31:07
  Yeah,
• 31:07
  hopefully.
• 31:08
  Well,
• 31:09
  let's,
• 31:09
  that's
• 31:10
  the
• 31:10
  goal.
• 31:10
  I'm
• 31:10
  sure
• 31:10
  people
• 31:11
  at
• 31:11
  ICAST
• 31:11
  had
• 31:12
  opinions
• 31:12
  for
• 31:12
  you,
• 31:12
  but.
• 31:13
  Yep,
• 31:14
  yep.
• 31:14
  But
• 31:14
  you
• 31:14
  know,
• 31:15
  just
• 31:15
  to
• 31:15
  help
• 31:15
  people
• 31:15
  understand,
• 31:16
  you
• 31:16
  know,
• 31:16
  how
• 31:16
  long
• 31:17
  does
• 31:17
  it
• 31:17
  generally
• 31:17
  take
• 31:18
  to
• 31:18
  bring
• 31:18
  a
• 31:18
  new
• 31:18
  line
• 31:19
  to
• 31:19
  market?
• 31:19
  From
• 31:19
  the
• 31:19
  time
• 31:20
  let's
• 31:20
  say
• 31:20
  Russ
• 31:20
  reaches
• 31:20
  out
• 31:21
  and
• 31:21
  Says,
• 31:21
  hey,
• 31:22
  I
• 31:22
  like
• 31:22
  a
• 31:22
  line
• 31:22
  that
• 31:22
  fixes
• 31:23
  this
• 31:23
  problem
• 31:23
  to
• 31:23
  it
• 31:24
  showing
• 31:24
  up
• 31:24
  on
• 31:24
  a,
• 31:25
  on
• 31:25
  a
• 31:25
  peg
• 31:25
  in
• 31:26
  a
• 31:26
  fly
• 31:26
  shop.
• 31:28
  Again,
• 31:29
  it's
• 31:29
  going
• 31:29
  to
• 31:29
  depend
• 31:30
  on
• 31:30
  what
• 31:30
  you're
• 31:30
  developing.
• 31:30
  So
• 31:31
  tapers
• 31:31
  are
• 31:31
  pretty
• 31:31
  easy.
• 31:32
  You
• 31:32
  know,
• 31:33
  the
• 31:33
  material
• 31:33
  package.
• 31:34
  If
• 31:34
  I'm
• 31:34
  developing
• 31:35
  a
• 31:35
  taper,
• 31:35
  generally
• 31:35
  the
• 31:35
  material
• 31:36
  package
• 31:36
  isn't
• 31:36
  changing
• 31:37
  at
• 31:37
  all.
• 31:37
  And
• 31:38
  so
• 31:38
  it's
• 31:38
  like,
• 31:39
  you
• 31:39
  know,
• 31:39
  like
• 31:39
  the
• 31:40
  line
• 31:40
  I
• 31:40
  built
• 31:40
  for
• 31:41
  Russ.
• 31:42
  I
• 31:42
  made
• 31:42
  him
• 31:43
  a
• 31:43
  sample
• 31:43
  and
• 31:43
  I
• 31:43
  think
• 31:43
  he
• 31:44
  fished
• 31:44
  it
• 31:44
  for
• 31:44
  six
• 31:44
  months
• 31:44
  and
• 31:45
  then
• 31:45
  we
• 31:45
  made
• 31:45
  the
• 31:45
  decision
• 31:46
  to
• 31:46
  add
• 31:46
  it
• 31:47
  because
• 31:47
  we're
• 31:47
  not
• 31:48
  really
• 31:48
  testing
• 31:49
  things
• 31:49
  like
• 31:49
  longevity
• 31:50
  or
• 31:50
  slickness
• 31:50
  or
• 31:50
  flotation
• 31:51
  because
• 31:51
  those
• 31:51
  are
• 31:51
  already
• 31:52
  built
• 31:52
  into
• 31:52
  the
• 31:52
  material
• 31:53
  package.
• 31:53
  And
• 31:54
  it's
• 31:54
  the
• 31:54
  same
• 31:54
  as
• 31:54
  basically
• 31:55
  any
• 31:55
  other
• 31:55
  line
• 31:56
  in
• 31:56
  the
• 31:56
  same
• 31:56
  family
• 31:57
  that
• 31:57
  we
• 31:57
  already
• 31:57
  have.
• 31:58
  So
• 31:58
  tapers
• 31:59
  are
• 31:59
  usually
• 31:59
  pretty
• 31:59
  easy.
• 32:00
  And
• 32:00
  I
• 32:00
  would
• 32:00
  say
• 32:01
  if
• 32:01
  we
• 32:01
  have
• 32:01
  someone
• 32:01
  come
• 32:01
  to
• 32:02
  us
• 32:02
  with
• 32:02
  an
• 32:02
  idea
• 32:02
  for
• 32:02
  a
• 32:03
  taper,
• 32:03
  we
• 32:04
  can
• 32:04
  generally
• 32:05
  nail
• 32:05
  it
• 32:06
  within,
• 32:06
  you
• 32:06
  know,
• 32:07
  two
• 32:07
  iterations
• 32:08
  at
• 32:08
  most.
• 32:09
  Sometimes
• 32:09
  it
• 32:09
  takes
• 32:09
  three
• 32:10
  or
• 32:10
  four,
• 32:10
  but
• 32:11
  on
• 32:11
  average,
• 32:11
  I
• 32:12
  would
• 32:12
  say
• 32:12
  at
• 32:12
  most
• 32:13
  two
• 32:13
  and
• 32:14
  two
• 32:14
  iterations
• 32:14
  on
• 32:15
  a
• 32:15
  taper,
• 32:16
  you
• 32:16
  know,
• 32:16
  maybe
• 32:16
  takes
• 32:17
  something
• 32:17
  like
• 32:17
  six
• 32:17
  months.
• 32:19
  Technology
• 32:20
  and
• 32:20
  if
• 32:20
  we,
• 32:20
  you
• 32:21
  know,
• 32:21
  make
• 32:21
  significant
• 32:21
  changes
• 32:22
  to
• 32:22
  the,
• 32:23
  the
• 32:23
  coating
• 32:23
  or
• 32:23
  the
• 32:24
  core
• 32:24
  or
• 32:24
  some
• 32:24
  other
• 32:25
  component
• 32:25
  of
• 32:26
  the
• 32:26
  plastic
• 32:26
  itself,
• 32:28
  generally
• 32:29
  we
• 32:29
  like
• 32:29
  to
• 32:29
  give
• 32:29
  it
• 32:30
  that
• 32:30
  some,
• 32:30
  a
• 32:30
  good,
• 32:30
  good
• 32:31
  amount
• 32:31
  of
• 32:31
  time,
• 32:31
  you
• 32:32
  know,
• 32:32
  two
• 32:32
  seasons
• 32:32
  or
• 32:33
  more.
• 32:33
  Just
• 32:34
  because
• 32:34
  we
• 32:34
  sort
• 32:34
  of
• 32:34
  hang
• 32:35
  our
• 32:35
  hat
• 32:35
  on
• 32:35
  durability
• 32:36
  and
• 32:36
  performance
• 32:37
  and
• 32:37
  we
• 32:37
  don't
• 32:37
  want
• 32:37
  to
• 32:37
  throw
• 32:38
  anything
• 32:38
  out
• 32:38
  into
• 32:38
  the
• 32:39
  market
• 32:39
  that
• 32:39
  we
• 32:39
  don't
• 32:39
  have
• 32:40
  100
• 32:40
  confidence
• 32:41
  in
• 32:42
  that
• 32:42
  could
• 32:42
  affect
• 32:42
  performance
• 32:43
  beyond
• 32:43
  just
• 32:43
  how
• 32:44
  it
• 32:44
  delivers
• 32:44
  a
• 32:44
  fly
• 32:45
  like
• 32:45
  a
• 32:45
  taper
• 32:45
  does.
• 32:46
  Got
• 32:46
  it.
• 32:47
  So
• 32:47
  that
• 32:47
  would
• 32:47
  be
• 32:47
  typical,
• 32:47
  say
• 32:48
  if,
• 32:48
  like
• 32:48
  your
• 32:48
  new
• 32:48
  kind
• 32:49
  of
• 32:49
  clear
• 32:49
  tip
• 32:49
  saltwater
• 32:50
  lines
• 32:50
  that
• 32:50
  came
• 32:50
  out,
• 32:50
  that
• 32:51
  was
• 32:51
  probably
• 32:51
  a
• 32:51
  multi
• 32:51
  year
• 32:52
  project.
• 32:53
  Yep,
• 32:53
  yep.
• 32:53
  Precisely.
• 32:54
  Got
• 32:55
  it.
• 32:55
  And
• 32:55
  so,
• 32:55
  you
• 32:56
  know,
• 32:56
  just
• 32:56
  to
• 32:56
  kind
• 32:56
  of
• 32:56
  walk
• 32:56
  through
• 32:57
  the
• 32:57
  process,
• 32:57
  you
• 32:57
  want
• 32:58
  to
• 32:58
  pick,
• 32:58
  I
• 32:58
  don't
• 32:58
  know,
• 32:59
  I
• 33:00
  think
• 33:00
  I
• 33:00
  have
• 33:00
  a
• 33:00
  pretty
• 33:00
  good
• 33:00
  feel
• 33:01
  for,
• 33:01
  you
• 33:01
  know,
• 33:01
  kind
• 33:01
  of
• 33:02
  how
• 33:02
  you
• 33:02
  did
• 33:02
  Russ's
• 33:02
  newest
• 33:03
  lines.
• 33:03
  But
• 33:03
  maybe
• 33:04
  take
• 33:05
  with
• 33:05
  the.
• 33:05
  Would
• 33:05
  the
• 33:05
  Muskie
• 33:06
  2
• 33:06
  be
• 33:06
  a
• 33:06
  good
• 33:06
  example
• 33:07
  of
• 33:07
  kind
• 33:07
  of
• 33:07
  a
• 33:07
  broader,
• 33:08
  longer
• 33:08
  development
• 33:09
  cycle
• 33:09
  for
• 33:09
  a
• 33:09
  line
• 33:09
  to
• 33:10
  use?
• 33:11
  Yeah,
• 33:11
  that's
• 33:11
  true.
• 33:11
  And
• 33:12
  that
• 33:12
  one
• 33:12
  was
• 33:12
  a
• 33:12
  little
• 33:12
  bit
• 33:13
  broader
• 33:13
  because
• 33:13
  there
• 33:14
  was
• 33:15
  some
• 33:16
  differing
• 33:16
  SKUs
• 33:16
  within
• 33:17
  that
• 33:17
  program
• 33:17
  as
• 33:18
  well.
• 33:19
  So
• 33:19
  the
• 33:20
  sync25
• 33:20
  sync3
• 33:21
  that
• 33:21
  Russ
• 33:22
  worked
• 33:22
  on,
• 33:22
  you
• 33:23
  know,
• 33:23
  the
• 33:23
  taper
• 33:23
  was
• 33:23
  the
• 33:23
  same
• 33:23
  as
• 33:24
  the
• 33:24
  sync
• 33:24
  25.
• 33:25
  It
• 33:25
  was
• 33:25
  really
• 33:25
  just
• 33:25
  about
• 33:26
  getting
• 33:26
  the
• 33:26
  density
• 33:27
  dialed
• 33:27
  in
• 33:27
  for
• 33:27
  what
• 33:27
  he
• 33:27
  was
• 33:28
  looking
• 33:28
  for.
• 33:29
  So
• 33:29
  that
• 33:29
  was
• 33:29
  pretty
• 33:29
  straightforward.
• 33:30
  The
• 33:30
  musky
• 33:31
  Gen
• 33:31
  2,
• 33:32
  the
• 33:33
  standard
• 33:34
  setup,
• 33:35
  the
• 33:35
  smaller
• 33:36
  sizes
• 33:36
  essentially
• 33:37
  was
• 33:37
  also
• 33:37
  pretty
• 33:38
  straightforward
• 33:38
  because
• 33:38
  most
• 33:39
  guys
• 33:39
  just
• 33:39
  wanted
• 33:39
  a
• 33:40
  Brighter
• 33:41
  or
• 33:41
  a
• 33:42
  more
• 33:42
  contrast
• 33:42
  between
• 33:43
  the
• 33:43
  head
• 33:43
  and
• 33:43
  the
• 33:43
  running
• 33:43
  line.
• 33:44
  And
• 33:44
  they
• 33:44
  wanted
• 33:44
  a
• 33:44
  beefier
• 33:45
  running
• 33:45
  line
• 33:45
  and
• 33:46
  shorten
• 33:46
  the
• 33:46
  head
• 33:46
  up
• 33:47
  a
• 33:47
  little
• 33:47
  bit.
• 33:47
  So
• 33:47
  that's,
• 33:47
  that's
• 33:48
  easy.
• 33:48
  The
• 33:49
  most
• 33:49
  complex
• 33:49
  part
• 33:49
  of
• 33:49
  that
• 33:49
  one
• 33:50
  was
• 33:50
  actually
• 33:50
  the
• 33:50
  custom
• 33:50
  cut,
• 33:51
  which
• 33:51
  we
• 33:51
  do.
• 33:52
  It's
• 33:52
  a
• 33:52
  800
• 33:52
  grain
• 33:53
  version
• 33:53
  of
• 33:53
  it.
• 33:54
  And
• 33:54
  we've
• 33:55
  done
• 33:55
  custom
• 33:55
  tips
• 33:55
  in
• 33:55
  the
• 33:56
  past,
• 33:56
  but
• 33:57
  the
• 33:57
  double
• 33:57
  handed
• 33:58
  muskie
• 33:58
  community,
• 33:59
  we
• 33:59
  wanted
• 33:59
  to
• 33:59
  sort
• 33:59
  of
• 34:00
  dip
• 34:00
  our
• 34:00
  toe
• 34:00
  into
• 34:00
  it,
• 34:01
  but
• 34:01
  we
• 34:01
  were
• 34:01
  afraid
• 34:01
  there
• 34:02
  wasn't
• 34:02
  enough
• 34:02
  volume
• 34:03
  to
• 34:03
  sell,
• 34:03
  you
• 34:03
  know,
• 34:03
  two
• 34:04
  or
• 34:04
  300
• 34:04
  lines
• 34:04
  in
• 34:05
  a
• 34:05
  year
• 34:05
  like
• 34:05
  we
• 34:05
  discussed.
• 34:06
  So
• 34:07
  we
• 34:07
  sat
• 34:07
  back
• 34:08
  and
• 34:08
  we're
• 34:08
  like,
• 34:08
  well,
• 34:08
  what
• 34:08
  if
• 34:08
  we
• 34:09
  made
• 34:09
  the
• 34:09
  biggest
• 34:10
  muskie
• 34:10
  line
• 34:10
  these
• 34:11
  guys
• 34:11
  are
• 34:11
  asking
• 34:11
  for?
• 34:12
  And
• 34:12
  then
• 34:12
  just
• 34:13
  assigned
• 34:13
  the
• 34:13
  taper
• 34:14
  such
• 34:14
  that
• 34:15
  the
• 34:15
  angler
• 34:15
  could
• 34:16
  cut
• 34:16
  it
• 34:16
  back
• 34:16
  if
• 34:16
  they
• 34:16
  wanted
• 34:17
  to
• 34:17
  trim
• 34:17
  it
• 34:17
  to,
• 34:18
  you
• 34:18
  know,
• 34:18
  a
• 34:18
  750,
• 34:19
  a
• 34:19
  700,
• 34:20
  a
• 34:20
  650,
• 34:21
  whatever.
• 34:22
  And
• 34:22
  that
• 34:22
  actually
• 34:23
  took
• 34:23
  a
• 34:23
  bit
• 34:23
  of
• 34:23
  time
• 34:24
  to
• 34:24
  get
• 34:24
  the
• 34:24
  taper
• 34:24
  to
• 34:25
  work
• 34:25
  correctly
• 34:25
  because
• 34:26
  as
• 34:26
  you
• 34:26
  can
• 34:26
  imagine,
• 34:27
  you're,
• 34:27
  you're
• 34:27
  cutting
• 34:27
  it
• 34:28
  back,
• 34:28
  you're
• 34:28
  cutting
• 34:28
  into
• 34:29
  the
• 34:29
  taper
• 34:29
  a
• 34:30
  bit.
• 34:30
  And
• 34:31
  not
• 34:31
  only
• 34:31
  are
• 34:31
  you
• 34:31
  affecting
• 34:32
  the
• 34:32
  weight,
• 34:32
  but
• 34:32
  you're
• 34:33
  affecting
• 34:33
  the
• 34:33
  casting
• 34:34
  performance
• 34:34
  of
• 34:34
  it.
• 34:34
  So
• 34:35
  that,
• 34:35
  that
• 34:36
  portion
• 34:36
  of
• 34:36
  that
• 34:36
  line,
• 34:36
  because
• 34:37
  of
• 34:37
  the
• 34:37
  complexity,
• 34:37
  definitely
• 34:38
  took
• 34:38
  longer
• 34:38
  than
• 34:39
  a
• 34:39
  standard
• 34:39
  taper
• 34:40
  development.
• 34:41
  Interesting.
• 34:41
  So
• 34:41
  how
• 34:42
  many
• 34:42
  years
• 34:42
  did
• 34:42
  it
• 34:42
  take
• 34:42
  you
• 34:43
  to
• 34:43
  kind
• 34:43
  of
• 34:43
  go
• 34:43
  from
• 34:43
  soup
• 34:44
  to
• 34:44
  nuts
• 34:44
  on
• 34:44
  the
• 34:44
  Gen
• 34:45
  2
• 34:45
  Muskie?
• 34:46
  I
• 34:46
  would
• 34:46
  say
• 34:47
  that
• 34:47
  was
• 34:47
  probably,
• 34:48
  that
• 34:48
  was
• 34:48
  probably
• 34:49
  about
• 34:49
  a
• 34:49
  year.
• 34:50
  I
• 34:50
  don't
• 34:50
  think
• 34:50
  it
• 34:50
  was
• 34:50
  over
• 34:50
  a
• 34:51
  year,
• 34:51
  but
• 34:52
  that
• 34:52
  one
• 34:52
  was
• 34:52
  pretty
• 34:52
  run.
• 34:53
  And
• 34:53
  gun
• 34:53
  the
• 34:53
  taper
• 34:54
  development
• 34:54
  on
• 34:54
  that,
• 34:55
  like,
• 34:55
  you
• 34:55
  know,
• 34:55
  I'd
• 34:55
  make
• 34:55
  a
• 34:56
  sample,
• 34:56
  I'd
• 34:56
  send
• 34:57
  it
• 34:57
  out,
• 34:57
  get
• 34:58
  feedback,
• 34:58
  and
• 34:58
  I'd
• 34:59
  make
• 34:59
  another
• 34:59
  sample
• 35:00
  maybe
• 35:00
  within
• 35:00
  two
• 35:00
  or
• 35:01
  three
• 35:01
  weeks.
• 35:01
  So
• 35:02
  because
• 35:02
  we,
• 35:03
  we
• 35:03
  had
• 35:03
  open
• 35:03
  machine
• 35:04
  time
• 35:04
  and
• 35:04
  I
• 35:05
  had
• 35:05
  time
• 35:05
  and
• 35:05
  it
• 35:06
  was
• 35:06
  easy
• 35:06
  to
• 35:06
  run,
• 35:07
  the
• 35:07
  development
• 35:08
  time
• 35:08
  took
• 35:08
  less
• 35:09
  just
• 35:09
  because
• 35:09
  of
• 35:09
  the,
• 35:10
  the
• 35:10
  iterations
• 35:10
  of
• 35:10
  samples
• 35:11
  were
• 35:11
  so
• 35:12
  close
• 35:12
  together.
• 35:13
  Gotcha.
• 35:13
  And
• 35:14
  so,
• 35:14
  you
• 35:14
  know,
• 35:14
  I'm
• 35:14
  gonna
• 35:14
  see
• 35:15
  if
• 35:15
  I
• 35:15
  can
• 35:15
  get
• 35:15
  you
• 35:15
  to
• 35:15
  divulge
• 35:16
  some
• 35:16
  secrets
• 35:16
  before
• 35:16
  I
• 35:17
  let
• 35:17
  you
• 35:17
  go
• 35:17
  tonight.
• 35:18
  No
• 35:18
  worries.
• 35:19
  I
• 35:19
  don't
• 35:19
  want
• 35:19
  you
• 35:19
  to
• 35:19
  get
• 35:19
  in
• 35:19
  trouble,
• 35:20
  but
• 35:20
  if
• 35:21
  you
• 35:21
  have
• 35:21
  any
• 35:21
  new
• 35:21
  products
• 35:22
  or
• 35:22
  technologies
• 35:23
  that
• 35:23
  you're
• 35:23
  working
• 35:23
  on
• 35:23
  that
• 35:23
  you
• 35:23
  could
• 35:24
  share
• 35:24
  with
• 35:24
  our
• 35:24
  listeners,
• 35:24
  I'd
• 35:25
  really
• 35:25
  appreciate
• 35:25
  it.
• 35:26
  Yeah,
• 35:27
  so
• 35:27
  we've
• 35:27
  got
• 35:27
  some
• 35:28
  striper
• 35:28
  lines
• 35:28
  coming
• 35:29
  out
• 35:29
  for
• 35:29
  this
• 35:29
  year.
• 35:30
  Those.
• 35:30
  That's
• 35:30
  probably
• 35:31
  the
• 35:31
  biggest
• 35:31
  series.
• 35:32
  It
• 35:32
  builds
• 35:33
  off
• 35:33
  of
• 35:33
  the
• 35:33
  triple
• 35:34
  density
• 35:34
  Titan
• 35:34
  in
• 35:35
  the
• 35:35
  sinker.
• 35:36
  And
• 35:36
  then
• 35:36
  we've
• 35:36
  got
• 35:36
  an
• 35:37
  intermediate
• 35:37
  with
• 35:37
  a
• 35:37
  warm
• 35:38
  water
• 35:38
  coating
• 35:38
  which
• 35:39
  will
• 35:39
  probably
• 35:39
  be
• 35:40
  popular
• 35:40
  for
• 35:40
  smallmouth
• 35:41
  bass
• 35:41
  anglers.
• 35:42
  It's
• 35:42
  an
• 35:43
  awesome.
• 35:43
  You
• 35:43
  know,
• 35:44
  low
• 35:44
  water
• 35:45
  sort
• 35:45
  of
• 35:45
  changer
• 35:46
  line.
• 35:47
  And
• 35:47
  the
• 35:47
  fact
• 35:47
  that
• 35:47
  it
• 35:48
  has
• 35:48
  a
• 35:48
  warm
• 35:48
  water
• 35:48
  coating
• 35:49
  means
• 35:49
  it
• 35:49
  holds
• 35:49
  up
• 35:49
  really
• 35:50
  well
• 35:50
  if
• 35:50
  it's,
• 35:50
  you
• 35:50
  know,
• 35:50
  80
• 35:51
  degrees
• 35:51
  plus.
• 35:52
  And
• 35:52
  there's
• 35:53
  also
• 35:53
  a
• 35:53
  floater
• 35:53
  in
• 35:54
  that
• 35:54
  series.
• 35:55
  That's
• 35:55
  probably
• 35:56
  the,
• 35:56
  the
• 35:57
  biggest
• 35:57
  new
• 35:57
  launch
• 35:58
  we
• 35:58
  have.
• 35:59
  If
• 35:59
  you
• 35:59
  step
• 35:59
  back
• 36:00
  a
• 36:00
  little
• 36:00
  bit
• 36:00
  further,
• 36:00
  we
• 36:01
  added
• 36:01
  clear
• 36:02
  floating
• 36:02
  versions
• 36:03
  of
• 36:04
  Magnitude,
• 36:05
  which
• 36:05
  is
• 36:05
  our
• 36:05
  clear
• 36:05
  floating
• 36:06
  family
• 36:06
  designed
• 36:07
  specifically
• 36:07
  for
• 36:07
  trout
• 36:08
  fishing,
• 36:09
  but
• 36:09
  that
• 36:09
  launched
• 36:10
  earlier
• 36:11
  in
• 36:11
  the
• 36:11
  year
• 36:12
  a
• 36:12
  bit.
• 36:12
  So,
• 36:14
  yeah,
• 36:14
  those
• 36:14
  are,
• 36:14
  those
• 36:15
  are
• 36:15
  kind
• 36:15
  of
• 36:15
  the,
• 36:15
  the
• 36:15
  two,
• 36:15
  the
• 36:16
  two
• 36:16
  big
• 36:16
  programs
• 36:16
  for
• 36:16
  us.
• 36:17
  Yeah,
• 36:17
  I
• 36:17
  saw
• 36:17
  the
• 36:18
  drone
• 36:18
  videos
• 36:19
  of
• 36:19
  the,
• 36:19
  of
• 36:19
  the
• 36:19
  trout.
• 36:20
  Of
• 36:20
  the
• 36:20
  trout
• 36:20
  lines.
• 36:21
  Yeah,
• 36:22
  yeah.
• 36:22
  Yep.
• 36:23
  Good
• 36:23
  stuff.
• 36:23
  And
• 36:24
  so
• 36:24
  anything
• 36:25
  else
• 36:25
  you
• 36:25
  want
• 36:25
  to
• 36:25
  share
• 36:25
  with
• 36:25
  our
• 36:26
  listeners
• 36:26
  before
• 36:26
  I
• 36:26
  let
• 36:26
  you
• 36:26
  go
• 36:26
  tonight,
• 36:27
  Josh?
• 36:29
  No,
• 36:29
  I
• 36:29
  think
• 36:29
  the
• 36:29
  only
• 36:30
  thing
• 36:30
  I
• 36:30
  generally
• 36:31
  sign
• 36:31
  off
• 36:31
  with
• 36:31
  is,
• 36:32
  you
• 36:32
  know,
• 36:32
  fly
• 36:33
  lines
• 36:33
  can
• 36:33
  be
• 36:33
  a
• 36:34
  very
• 36:34
  confusing
• 36:34
  subject
• 36:36
  and
• 36:36
  I
• 36:37
  always
• 36:37
  like
• 36:37
  to
• 36:37
  give
• 36:37
  kudos
• 36:38
  to
• 36:38
  our
• 36:38
  customer
• 36:38
  service
• 36:39
  team.
• 36:39
  I
• 36:39
  don't
• 36:40
  think
• 36:40
  people
• 36:40
  realize
• 36:41
  that
• 36:41
  no
• 36:42
  matter
• 36:42
  how
• 36:42
  confusing
• 36:42
  these
• 36:43
  things
• 36:43
  are,
• 36:43
  if
• 36:43
  you
• 36:44
  ever
• 36:44
  have
• 36:44
  a
• 36:44
  question,
• 36:44
  you
• 36:45
  can
• 36:45
  call
• 36:45
  us
• 36:45
  or
• 36:46
  email
• 36:46
  us
• 36:46
  and
• 36:47
  generally
• 36:47
  we'll
• 36:47
  get
• 36:48
  back
• 36:48
  to
• 36:48
  you
• 36:48
  in
• 36:48
  the
• 36:48
  same
• 36:49
  day.
• 36:49
  There's,
• 36:50
  there's
• 36:50
  no
• 36:51
  benefit
• 36:51
  to
• 36:51
  us
• 36:52
  to
• 36:52
  having
• 36:53
  consumers
• 36:53
  purchase
• 36:54
  the
• 36:54
  wrong
• 36:55
  line.
• 36:55
  And
• 36:56
  so
• 36:56
  we're
• 36:56
  very
• 36:56
  motivated
• 36:57
  to
• 36:57
  try
• 36:57
  to
• 36:58
  get
• 36:58
  you
• 36:58
  into
• 36:58
  the
• 36:58
  right
• 36:58
  line
• 36:59
  to
• 36:59
  make
• 36:59
  sure
• 36:59
  you
• 36:59
  have
• 37:00
  the
• 37:00
  best
• 37:00
  experience
• 37:00
  you
• 37:00
  possibly
• 37:01
  can
• 37:01
  on
• 37:01
  the
• 37:01
  water.
• 37:02
  If
• 37:02
  you
• 37:02
  go
• 37:02
  to
• 37:03
  Scientific
• 37:03
  Anglers
• 37:04
  website,
• 37:04
  there's
• 37:05
  a
• 37:05
  contact
• 37:05
  page
• 37:05
  on
• 37:06
  there.
• 37:06
  It'll
• 37:06
  give
• 37:07
  you
• 37:07
  the
• 37:07
  number
• 37:08
  you
• 37:08
  can
• 37:08
  call
• 37:08
  if
• 37:08
  you
• 37:08
  prefer
• 37:09
  that,
• 37:09
  or
• 37:09
  the
• 37:09
  customer
• 37:10
  support
• 37:10
  email
• 37:11
  if
• 37:11
  you
• 37:11
  prefer
• 37:11
  email.
• 37:12
  But
• 37:12
  that
• 37:13
  is
• 37:13
  the
• 37:13
  best
• 37:14
  resource
• 37:14
  you
• 37:14
  can
• 37:14
  possibly
• 37:15
  have.
• 37:15
  You
• 37:15
  know,
• 37:15
  like
• 37:16
  you
• 37:16
  said,
• 37:16
  we
• 37:16
  have
• 37:17
  an
• 37:17
  infinite,
• 37:17
  almost
• 37:18
  infinite
• 37:18
  number
• 37:19
  of
• 37:19
  fly
• 37:19
  line
• 37:20
  options
• 37:20
  and
• 37:20
  it's
• 37:20
  really
• 37:20
  hard
• 37:21
  to
• 37:21
  wade
• 37:21
  through.
• 37:22
  And
• 37:22
  if
• 37:22
  you
• 37:23
  do
• 37:23
  it
• 37:23
  on
• 37:23
  your
• 37:23
  own,
• 37:23
  there's
• 37:24
  a
• 37:24
  potential
• 37:24
  you
• 37:24
  could
• 37:24
  end
• 37:24
  up
• 37:25
  with
• 37:25
  the
• 37:25
  wrong
• 37:25
  product
• 37:25
  and
• 37:26
  have
• 37:26
  a
• 37:26
  bad
• 37:26
  experience
• 37:26
  because
• 37:27
  of
• 37:27
  it.
• 37:27
  So
• 37:28
  I
• 37:28
  always
• 37:28
  suggest
• 37:28
  if
• 37:29
  you're
• 37:29
  even
• 37:29
  on
• 37:29
  the
• 37:30
  fence
• 37:30
  about
• 37:30
  something,
• 37:31
  reach
• 37:31
  out
• 37:31
  to
• 37:31
  our
• 37:32
  customer
• 37:32
  support
• 37:32
  line.
• 37:33
  They
• 37:33
  love
• 37:33
  talking
• 37:34
  to
• 37:34
  people
• 37:34
  and
• 37:34
  they
• 37:34
  love
• 37:35
  solving
• 37:35
  problems.
• 37:36
  Yeah.
• 37:36
  I
• 37:36
  would
• 37:36
  also
• 37:36
  say
• 37:37
  too,
• 37:37
  you
• 37:37
  know,
• 37:37
  not,
• 37:38
  not
• 37:38
  encouraging
• 37:38
  people
• 37:39
  to
• 37:39
  wait
• 37:39
  by
• 37:39
  any
• 37:39
  stretch
• 37:40
  of
• 37:40
  the
• 37:40
  imagination,
• 37:40
  but,
• 37:41
  you
• 37:41
  know,
• 37:41
  during
• 37:41
  show
• 37:42
  season,
• 37:42
  you
• 37:42
  guys
• 37:42
  are
• 37:43
  at
• 37:43
  all
• 37:43
  the
• 37:43
  major
• 37:44
  fly
• 37:44
  fishing
• 37:44
  shows
• 37:45
  and
• 37:45
  it's
• 37:45
  a
• 37:45
  great
• 37:45
  time
• 37:45
  to
• 37:46
  literally
• 37:47
  go
• 37:47
  put,
• 37:47
  you
• 37:47
  know,
• 37:47
  one
• 37:47
  meet
• 37:48
  the
• 37:48
  people
• 37:48
  behind
• 37:48
  the
• 37:48
  lines,
• 37:49
  but
• 37:49
  also
• 37:49
  to
• 37:49
  put
• 37:49
  your
• 37:50
  hands
• 37:50
  on
• 37:50
  them
• 37:50
  as
• 37:50
  well.
• 37:51
  Right?
• 37:51
  Yeah.
• 37:52
  Most
• 37:52
  of
• 37:52
  the
• 37:52
  consumer
• 37:53
  shows
• 37:53
  will
• 37:53
  have
• 37:53
  what
• 37:53
  we
• 37:54
  call
• 37:54
  our
• 37:54
  by
• 37:54
  or
• 37:55
  BYOR
• 37:56
  kit,
• 37:57
  which
• 37:57
  is
• 37:57
  bring
• 37:57
  your
• 37:57
  own
• 37:57
  rod.
• 37:58
  We
• 37:58
  have
• 37:58
  I
• 37:59
  think
• 37:59
  three
• 37:59
  or
• 37:59
  four
• 38:00
  real
• 38:00
  cases
• 38:01
  with
• 38:01
  every
• 38:02
  single
• 38:02
  taper
• 38:02
  we
• 38:03
  offer
• 38:03
  in
• 38:03
  at
• 38:04
  least
• 38:04
  one,
• 38:04
  sometimes
• 38:05
  two
• 38:05
  sizes.
• 38:06
  So
• 38:06
  if
• 38:06
  you
• 38:06
  come
• 38:06
  to
• 38:06
  a
• 38:07
  consumer
• 38:07
  show,
• 38:07
  you
• 38:08
  can
• 38:08
  either
• 38:08
  bring
• 38:08
  your
• 38:08
  own
• 38:09
  rod
• 38:09
  or
• 38:09
  go
• 38:09
  to
• 38:09
  a
• 38:10
  rod
• 38:10
  vendor
• 38:10
  that's
• 38:10
  also
• 38:11
  at
• 38:11
  the
• 38:11
  show.
• 38:11
  Grab
• 38:11
  one
• 38:12
  off.
• 38:12
  And
• 38:12
  if
• 38:12
  you
• 38:12
  want
• 38:12
  to
• 38:12
  try
• 38:12
  a
• 38:13
  specific
• 38:13
  taper,
• 38:14
  generally
• 38:14
  we
• 38:14
  can
• 38:14
  set
• 38:15
  you
• 38:15
  up
• 38:15
  with
• 38:15
  a
• 38:15
  reel.
• 38:15
  You
• 38:15
  can
• 38:15
  go
• 38:16
  cast
• 38:16
  it
• 38:16
  that
• 38:16
  day.
• 38:17
  Yeah,
• 38:17
  that's
• 38:17
  pretty
• 38:17
  awesome.
• 38:18
  And
• 38:18
  so
• 38:18
  if
• 38:18
  folks
• 38:18
  want
• 38:18
  to
• 38:19
  follow
• 38:19
  all
• 38:19
  things
• 38:20
  scientific
• 38:20
  anglers
• 38:21
  or
• 38:21
  your
• 38:21
  adventures
• 38:21
  on
• 38:21
  the
• 38:21
  water,
• 38:22
  where
• 38:22
  should
• 38:22
  they
• 38:23
  go?
• 38:25
  Keep
• 38:25
  in
• 38:25
  touch
• 38:25
  with
• 38:25
  our
• 38:26
  Instagram
• 38:26
  page,
• 38:26
  Facebook,
• 38:27
  scientific
• 38:28
  anglers
• 38:28
  on
• 38:28
  both.
• 38:28
  That's
• 38:29
  a
• 38:29
  great
• 38:29
  way
• 38:29
  to
• 38:29
  keep
• 38:29
  in
• 38:30
  touch.
• 38:30
  I
• 38:30
  think
• 38:31
  we're
• 38:31
  probably
• 38:31
  more
• 38:31
  active
• 38:32
  on
• 38:32
  Instagram
• 38:32
  than
• 38:32
  anything.
• 38:33
  I
• 38:34
  have
• 38:34
  an
• 38:34
  Instagram,
• 38:35
  but
• 38:35
  I'm
• 38:35
  not
• 38:35
  all
• 38:35
  that
• 38:35
  active.
• 38:36
  So
• 38:36
  I
• 38:36
  don't
• 38:36
  know
• 38:36
  if
• 38:36
  I
• 38:36
  would
• 38:36
  suggest
• 38:37
  people
• 38:37
  go
• 38:38
  follow
• 38:38
  my
• 38:39
  page,
• 38:39
  but
• 38:39
  if
• 38:39
  you
• 38:39
  can
• 38:40
  find
• 38:40
  me,
• 38:40
  feel
• 38:40
  free.
• 38:41
  I
• 38:41
  post
• 38:41
  about
• 38:41
  once
• 38:41
  every
• 38:42
  three
• 38:42
  years.
• 38:43
  Oh,
• 38:43
  well,
• 38:44
  there
• 38:44
  you
• 38:44
  go.
• 38:44
  Good
• 38:44
  for
• 38:44
  you.
• 38:45
  I'm
• 38:45
  proud
• 38:45
  of
• 38:46
  you.
• 38:49
  Well,
• 38:49
  Josh,
• 38:49
  I
• 38:49
  really
• 38:50
  appreciate
• 38:50
  you
• 38:50
  taking
• 38:51
  some
• 38:51
  time
• 38:51
  out
• 38:52
  of
• 38:52
  your
• 38:52
  evening
• 38:52
  to
• 38:52
  talk
• 38:52
  to
• 38:52
  me
• 38:53
  tonight.
• 38:54
  Yeah,
• 38:54
  thank
• 38:54
  you
• 38:54
  so
• 38:54
  much
• 38:54
  for
• 38:55
  having
• 38:55
  me
• 38:55
  on.
• 38:55
  It
• 38:55
  was
• 38:55
  great.
• 38:56
  It's
• 38:56
  been
• 38:56
  great.
• 38:56
  Take
• 38:56
  care.
• 38:57
  You
• 38:58
  too.
• 38:58
  Well,
• 38:59
  folks,
• 38:59
  we
• 38:59
  hope
• 39:00

• 39:00
  enjoyed
• 39:00

• 39:00
  interview
• 39:01
  as
• 39:01
  much
• 39:01
  as
