- 0:28It is time to leave your worries outside and come laugh with us inside the
- 0:34Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. I
- 0:44had plans to start the show with a sweet, sweet tease about there being
- 0:49a major shift in the airline industry, but first birthdays. But before we
- 0:54can get to that, Trey, I know that you're still fresh off of
- 1:03your bout of depression, which is not an ending thing anytime soon, but
- 1:10your body seems to pile on to you more so than we ever could inside
- 1:15the tree House. The hell is wrong? What the hell is wrong with
- 1:19your foot? I don't know. I woke up this morning and I stepped
- 1:23out of bed, and I'm like, ow, just step on a lego?
- 1:27Because the photo you sent is really really disturbing. Yeah, well it's
- 1:38I have no idea what I stepped. No, I did not step on
- 1:40a lego, But are you sure? Because it looks lego shaped? It
- 1:42does? It does? And if there were kids or legos running around here,
- 1:48then I would say that's an extra possibility. But since neither exists in
- 1:52my household, I'm I just I don't know. Raj, have you seen
- 2:00the photo in question, yet I have not. It's time for you to
- 2:02pick up your phone and take a look at our little group chat. Okay,
- 2:07because Trey send a photo. Okay, I gotta get past this one
- 2:16guy who keeps thinking I'm some guy named Todd Madrid. That doesn't sound like
- 2:22a made up name, Todd Madrid. Wow, that is horrific. That
- 2:31looks like when your filet is severely undercooked and you need to send it back.
- 2:42That's the color of the bruise in the middle of the bottom of your
- 2:45foot. Are you Are you flat footed? No? So there is an
- 2:50arch to your foot. Yeah, so it can't be your shoe. Mm
- 2:54hmm. That looks like you tore something. That's I I mean, if
- 3:02I had to get that looks like because that's a tendon that runs across the
- 3:06bottom of your arch like that. You can see that white line. Oh
- 3:09is that what that line is? Oh? Okay, Tray, no offense,
- 3:15but don't quit your day job. I don't think your feet are gonna
- 3:19have their own only fans account. No, yeah, no, No,
- 3:23that's that's like a only fans like the check like some Eastern European Yeah,
- 3:35like one of the one of the stands one of the countries that ends and
- 3:38stand. Yeah, that's this is only only turk Ministan fans. Yeah,
- 3:44that is that is that there is a turk Ministan trench foot. Yeah,
- 3:51it looks like you've torn. I mean that's Is that a bruise of the
- 3:54top on the well, it's just the middle yeah, No, the brown
- 4:02the brown spot, that's just a ball. No. I don't think you
- 4:08can get a pedicure with this foot tray. I think this type of foot
- 4:12is the kind of foot that shuts down entire nail salons and they all they
- 4:16all turn out the lights when they see you coming and they hide on the
- 4:19ground. And it's not a bite, no, No, it's a full
- 4:26on bruise. It looks like a tor That is so gross. All right,
- 4:29as I'm zooming in a little bit here, and I'm gonna hold this
- 4:31up to the camera a little bit so you can see it. Is it
- 4:34just me or does the bruise on the bottom of your foot tray look a
- 4:38little bit like a vagina? Yeah? And if that is the case,
- 4:47then I think we have at least an explanation as to why you have some
- 4:51discomfort in your foot you've you've apparently contracted pussy foot and it's severe. Wow,
- 5:02that is a have you have you, Trey? Have you tried?
- 5:08Have you tried touching it a little bit like that? Uh? Since it
- 5:13hurts. Maybe what you need to do is is in that general area right
- 5:19there, you see right there is Just do that a little bit to it.
- 5:24Just see if it feels better. Just try that. Just try that
- 5:27very Try to try to find the try to find the man in the boat
- 5:30on my foot. Man, If you don't know where it is on your
- 5:34own body, then I can't help you other than my finger showing you at
- 5:39the moment just right there. You can you can try. You can try
- 5:42like a massage gun or gotta be careful with those on sensitive areas. I'm
- 5:46just saying, you know, light pressure repeatedly in a circle. I mean,
- 5:53just you know, however, however you feel comfortable, light some cambles.
- 5:56I've also heard the alphabet works pretty well. Burn some incense lights of
- 6:01candle, you know, set the mood right. Yeah, yeah, it
- 6:05does look like you've possibly torn something, Bunny, does it feel torn?
- 6:12Can you can you what's the sensation? Like? It's just when you're walking
- 6:15it feels like it's a bruise. That's It's just it's just serious pounding,
- 6:21hasn't it. Trey is not in the mood for my nonsense today. I
- 6:30can say, He's like, you're lucky, you're remote, you ass whole.
- 6:33I'd strangle you, uh with my foot. I am on my feet
- 6:41for long, you know, twelve hours at a time. And yeah,
- 6:45but yeah, I don't have a clue. Ah, I did this one
- 6:47impressive though, thank you. That's a solid that's a solid bruise. That's
- 6:53a deep bruise too, because you got that, you got green and you
- 6:56got purple in there. Yeah, that's a that's solid. Whatever you did
- 7:01whatever, I mean, you have to look at whatever you did. You
- 7:03were so focused on what you were doing you didn't feel what you did,
- 7:08so that that's a testament to your work ethic or Trey had another one of
- 7:15his night terrors, which are documented are long documented here in the treehouse.
- 7:21He has scars to prove it. And I wonder if this might be an
- 7:28additional night terror situation where you've injured yourself in the throes of a night terror
- 7:33and obviously you wouldn't remember it. I actually have had to have slept.
- 7:39Oh oh, it's not that you're just annoyed as hell with me, You're
- 7:43just sleepy. Yeah, yeah, that's it. I mean, No,
- 7:46I mean I haven't slept. I've I slept off and on for about two
- 7:51hours. I've I get home till like about four from work, and then
- 7:59time I get Daisy situated and wind down, and you know, it's five
- 8:05point thirty before I even get into bed, and I just kept dozing on
- 8:11and off. So anyways, I haven't had a lot of sleep. Some
- 8:16kidding aside, I do have some experience here on the show with feet with
- 8:28gross with gross feet, I have some experience. Unfortunately that doesn't quite make
- 8:37me a pediatrist, but I do know that the last time I saw a
- 8:41really gross foot pick here on the show, it nearly killed a man.
- 8:50So my recommendation is today the same as it was all the way back in
- 8:54twenty sixteen. Go to the doctor. Yeah. Now, I will say,
- 9:01your foot tray does not look nearly as gross as the necrotic tow I
- 9:07saw those years ago. But because of my experience with gross feet, I
- 9:15recommend medical attention. Yeah, I mean anything with a bruise that deep out
- 9:20of nowhere that you weren't aware that you had done. Yeah, you might
- 9:24want to definitely go to a toncher because that could be that could be a
- 9:30tendant tear. And I would be curious to know that. On the intake
- 9:33forms at the doctor, at the pediatrist, is there a box to check
- 9:39for, you know, vestigial vagina or is that just the other box miscellaneous?
- 9:52What brings you in today? Well, there's not a box for this
- 9:56other conditions. Please explain. Well I can't. That's why I'm here.
- 10:03I need you to tell me what this is. You don't want me,
- 10:05you don't want me looking this up on web md. You're gonna have to
- 10:09find the only doctor in the world that's a potiatrist in an ob g y
- 10:13N. The hell of a duel specialty. Yeah, ye, parents must
- 10:22be so proud. You know, my child is a doctor. But not
- 10:26just any doctor. She's an ob gyn pediatrist O gen plus feet hyper specific
- 10:39for that one case. And it really confuses the hell out of the medical
- 10:46building, uh department. Yeah, whenever you get some rest or just go
- 10:54to the doctor and sleep there while they're looking at it, because they're gonna
- 10:56it's gonna be a while. I have to try to figure out what this
- 10:58is. Probably be able to take a nap on the Oh, I don't.
- 11:03I don't think this is a table. I think this is where you
- 11:05get that you get it up in one of the stirrups. Oh, poor,
- 11:18poor, Uh, just just HiT's just keep coming. Yeah, are
- 11:26you are you working later on this evening? Are you working Friday nights?
- 11:31You work? Uh? I? Yes, I don't even doesn't know.
- 11:37Yeah, I actually had to think about it because I don't even have the
- 11:41option of trying to call in. So yeah, I'll be working. Yeah,
- 11:46do you have a Do you have an ACE bandage? Or yeah?
- 11:50MAXI pad? I don't know what you put on it not actually might help.
- 11:58It's padded, it's patted, and you can wrap that around with the
- 12:01ACE bandage and if and if you want so you don't have to get out
- 12:11of the house and put any undue pressure on it. We'll we'll we'll send
- 12:13you, We'll get you a CBS delivery. Thanks, that's actually better.
- 12:20You're right, Raj. We should have it droned in from CBS and just
- 12:24dropped right on top of Trey's head in the middle of his shift. It's
- 12:28a butt Maxi pads and a bag and some clippers. I recommend some toe
- 12:37clippers. Yeah, and maybe little pump a stone from the bottom of the
- 12:43foot at the top. Uh, just a knock out, Like my foot's
- 12:48not that brown and I'm brown. Can you see that's not through the through
- 12:58the camera, Lene, because just blew a little bit there. I don't
- 13:05know why people get people that. That is amazing. You know. The
- 13:11sad thing is, that's the most color I have ever seen on Trey's body
- 13:16ever. He hates us so much right now, I'm so glad I am
- 13:28twenty two hundred miles away, because otherwise I'm afraid he'd touched me with that
- 13:33foot. Like it'd be bad enough to get my ass kicked by him,
- 13:41but I think it'd be worse if he just like just shoved that thing right
- 13:45in my face and said, lick it. Oh God, that is not
- 13:50right that you said that. That's not right. It's not right that I
- 13:54said it. But I have my reasons for it, and I'll tell you
- 13:56what those reasons are very very soon. Can I mean it? You were
- 14:05listening to the tree House visit us online that Treehouse on air dot com.
- 14:18Let's get Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the tree house now for any and all
- 14:22of your plumbing wants and needs. She he's the only person we call two
- 14:26one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight two one four three six eight
- 14:30thirty eight thirty eight the website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. Jacqueline, you
- 14:33will be happy to hear the good news. I finally watched Roadhouse. Roadhouse.
- 14:39Was Mo your favorite character? Please tell me yes, he was pretty
- 14:43good. I have to admit I actually would have preferred more Mo lest Connor
- 14:46McGregor asked, But you know, I wasn't the one making the movie,
- 14:48so I didn't get to make that decision. In my mind, I think
- 14:52that is one hundred percent. Connor McGregor's like real life. That's his walk,
- 14:56that's his talk. He looks like Grand Theft Auto character, just kind
- 15:01of walking through town everywhere he goes, and I imagine that's exactly what he's
- 15:05like. It didn't seem like he was stretching himself a whole lot trying to
- 15:09fill that role. It was, in my opinion, it was like a
- 15:13clear play on the original. But it. I don't know. How do
- 15:18you feel ultimately, is Patrick Swayzey still your ultimate cooler? It's so hard
- 15:22to compare those things, man, because like if those two guys, if
- 15:26Jake Gillenhall's Dalton and Patrick Swayzey's Dalton got into a fight, obviously Jillenhall's Dalton
- 15:31wins because of the advancement of combat training and technique. I did have the
- 15:37thought a few times watching the movie, since you were the one that said
- 15:41I needed to see it, that they were gonna need some plumbing work done.
- 15:43By the end of that film. Oh, they needed a lot of
- 15:46work done. So not only will Jacqueline take care of any and all of
- 15:48your plumbing wants and needs, but she also comes full of movie recommendations.
- 15:52Take them at your own peril. Do one four, three, six,

- 16:26the website cook d f w dot com, cookdfw dot com. Traum,
- 16:34Sorry you haven't slept well, I'm even sorry? Sorry? Or about the
- 16:41bottom of your foot? Are you mostly? So? What I was?
- 16:52Well, I'll do my best to try to get your mind off your foot?
- 16:56How about that? Okay? All right, here's what we're gonna do.
- 17:00I'm gonna give you that tease, I promise at the beginning of the
- 17:02show. We're gonna do it in the second segment because we got clearly distracted
- 17:04by the bottom of your foot, which I'm now going to try to help
- 17:07you forget about. All right, there has been a major shift in the
- 17:12airline industry. But first Birthdays Today is Friday, April nineteenth, twenty twenty
- 17:30four. Birthdays Today. Celebrating birthdays today the world of celebrities. Simu Liu
- 17:37is thirty five. He is now probably more recognized as shang Chi from the
- 17:41Marvel Cinematic Universe, which was as far as the new phase of Marvel movies,
- 17:48one of the better movies, if we're being honest, really love that
- 17:53very rewatchable. That was a fun movie. The Shong Chi. I think
- 17:57they're making another one. Oh yeah, they are. That's part of the
- 18:00next slate. I think that's a twenty twenty five or twenty twenty six one
- 18:04of those. Because Cinema Con just happened and they released a bunch of stuff
- 18:07the different studios did. And part of the Cinema Con stuff that Marvel released
- 18:14was there's adjusted schedule for their movies, and I think they said shann Chi
- 18:18two was going to be next year along with the new Captain America movie,
- 18:23which I'm excited about. Yeah, also celeb oh and then also Sima Lu
- 18:30also had a big role in the Barbie movie as Asian kin Oh. Okay,
- 18:37I did not see the Barbie movie. You have either, really,
- 18:40I'm the only one that went to the theater and saw Barbie. You will
- 18:44watch anything. That's why I'm convinced of this. You will watch any movie.
- 18:48I think you just have a lot of time where you're like, you
- 18:51know what, I'm gonna go watch movies and no one's ever been but I
- 18:53mean, Barbie was a different that was a global phenomenon. Yeah, I
- 18:57just never got around two. I mean I'm not like I'm not gonna go
- 19:02watch it by myself, but that just seems creepy, right, So,
- 19:06and I didn't have anybody that wanted to go watch it with me that was
- 19:10interested in the movie. So no, I'm sorready hear that. Yeah,
- 19:14I think it's all. I think you can. I think you can stream
- 19:17it now. I think it's all yeah. Yeah, it's been on streaming
- 19:18for a while now. Yeah. Simoulu also in the Barbie movie as one
- 19:23of the kins in the film. Speaking of me watching almost anything, I
- 19:30recently watched the Roadhouse remake with Jake jillanall what. The reviews were awful?
- 19:36Really, Yes, it's not that bad. The reviews were like several of
- 19:41them were like unwatchable, like and this was a travesty, Like it was
- 19:45terrible and you had to watch Connor McGregor naked. Nobody needs to see that.
- 19:51Well, I don't know how naked he was other than but I mean,
- 19:55I did see a lot of Connor McGregor's ass. But I don't think
- 19:57we're necessary. I think a lot of people have seen is that. I
- 20:00don't think that's a new thing. I have to admit I kind of liked
- 20:04it. Okay, I did it the the fights were good, it was
- 20:11actually pretty brutal. And if we're being honest, I mean, what were
- 20:15the reviews like for the original Roadhouse? I mean were they saying Sam Elliott's
- 20:21role was a tour de force, or that Patrick Swayze that this was the
- 20:25film that should have gotten him an oscar, not anything else, not Next
- 20:29of Kin and certainly not Ghost. I I think I was too young to
- 20:33care about reviews then, but entertaining, and you just, you know,
- 20:40at some point you stop remaking the movies, just just stop. Like and
- 20:45now they're doing like, why would you do? Okay, and you because
- 20:47you guys have seen the movie. I have not seen the whole thing.
- 20:49They're coming out with Goonies two? Why would you do that? Forty years
- 20:55later? Money? It's called money Russia. You you lived in la for
- 20:59what twelve years? I figured you knew that by now. Yeah, But
- 21:03I don't think it's going to generate what they're thinking. I mean, they're
- 21:04having a lot of movies fail at the box office that they thought would generate
- 21:11a lot of money. And I know they were blaming that on not being
- 21:12able to promote during the strike and so on and so forth. But now
- 21:15you're just like, how many how many more ghostbusters do we need? We
- 21:18don't. We're good. I'm with you. There, that's been done.
- 21:23Let's jettison that, give it a Viking funeral. Let it be. But
- 21:27Hollywood, this is something that actually is not new. Hollywood has always remade
- 21:33things. Yeah, always remade things. So the difference I can't quite figure
- 21:38out why it seems different when they're remaking things now. Look, there's like
- 21:45three different versions of A Star is Born. How many King Kong movies have
- 21:52there been? I think I think the original King Kong back in nineteen thirty
- 21:57three. I remember watching that in a film class. I mean, that's
- 22:03been remade. I am happy to say, though, that no one's touched
- 22:07Three Amigos yet, and that they need to leave that alone. Don't remake
- 22:11that. It's perfect. They'll do Adam Sandler or David Spade, Rob Schneider,
- 22:15that's who it's going to be. Damn it, You're right they will.
- 22:18Anyways, Remaking things is not a new thing that Hollywood has started doing.
- 22:23They've always done it, and I just don't know why it is we're
- 22:26more sensitive to it now. We just don't like it now? Why is
- 22:30that it is because we have better memories. I think it's I think it's
- 22:33we want something a fresh concept. I think we want something that's done differently.
- 22:40Well, maybe that's it. Maybe it's like a combination. It's almost
- 22:42like right now Hollywood is fixated on remaking things or superhero stuff as opposed to
- 22:49you know, having a mix of you can do those two things but also
- 22:53have some original stuff thrown in. Yeah, but you gotta so a lot
- 22:59of the I wouldn't call them remakes, but also you know, more reboots
- 23:03where they're you know, continuing the story and you know there there was a
- 23:07pretty big one called Maverick and uh that gave h you know, that's gonna
- 23:14fuel a bunch of other ones. I mean if if if they have success
- 23:18in one, they're going to try it ten other ways. And especially right
- 23:22now gen X eighties nostalgia. I I mean, I can understand why,
- 23:29like Gooni's uh as a cult classic for people our age that even if it
- 23:36stinks that they might have some moderate enough box office success to justify it.
- 23:40Yeah, yes, maybe I don't mean like that. The last Indiana Jones
- 23:45movie, I didn't, of course, yes, I did quit judging me
- 23:52for that, mean den was it an opening day with popcorn and got dropped
- 23:59off? That just made it made me sad that that made me sad.
- 24:03And that was just a bad storyline. And uh, you know, the
- 24:07last Crusade should have you know, ended that franchise because it should have.
- 24:11It was called for Crusade. I mean, let it, let it be.
- 24:15The fourth one was. I've tried. I've gone back and watched it,
- 24:18and I guess it's not as bad as I thought it was in the
- 24:22movie theater. But to me, it to me, it seemed pretty bad.
- 24:25I've never had any interest to try to go back and watch the Crystal
- 24:29Skull thing. Uh, Indiana Jones movie. To me, that fourth Indiana
- 24:33Jones is like Rocky five. I just pretend it doesn't exist, and you
- 24:38can't. And you also can't. And it's sad to say because he's such
- 24:42a great actor, but putting Harrison Ford on any kind of press junket,
- 24:45like, have you watched an interview with him? It is It is painful
- 24:49to watch him do late night television. I don't know, does he enjoy
- 24:55anything? No need weed you're in he smokes all the time. I forgot
- 25:03who it was or some celebrity. It's like half his age was like,
- 25:07man, I can't keep up with him. Yeah, I mean that's why
- 25:10he's landed a plane twice in a field, Like you know what I mean,
- 25:14He's like, I'm just gonna thought he saw some stocks. Yeah,
- 25:18he was just like I think I'm gonna stop here and get something neat.
- 25:22But it's it's like the same thing with Robert de Niro. I don't know
- 25:26if you paid attention to this over the years, you don't see a lot
- 25:30of interviews with him. And one of the things, and this is I
- 25:32found this out when I was living in LA and uh, one of the
- 25:36casting agents and whatnot, we're talking about him and how like his his promotion,
- 25:44like his PR team is like he's really dull. I'm just letting you
- 25:47know, just letting you know. Now he's had all these iconic roles,
- 25:49he's a very dull person. And so when you go watch the Bill Maher
- 25:52interview from like three weeks ago, when he's on Bill Maher and if you
- 25:57can sit through it, it's amazing he really dull or is he just tired
- 26:02or you know, because he's old or is it possible that he's acted so
- 26:07much in his life that his authentic self is gone. That could be.
- 26:12It could be many even know who he is anymore. It could be a
- 26:15mix of that and the fact that he's just had a new baby. But
- 26:19like at like eighty yeah, but just historically, like you don't see a
- 26:23lot of press junkets with like the Nero, same thing with with al Pacino.
- 26:27You don't see a lot of al Pacino running around out there because they
- 26:30I mean, they're just there. Al Pacino's a nut job, like he
- 26:33has to. He pays somebody on his crew to tell him when to eat,
- 26:37Like that's his old job, that's his whole job, just to let
- 26:40him know one to eat. You would think that the studios would learn.
- 26:44And it's like if these people are really bad at the interviews, then you
- 26:48just don't have them do it. It's sort of like it's sort of like
- 26:51as a husband. You see this trope all the time in sitcoms and stuff,
- 26:55which is the husband pretends to be so bad at something that the wife
- 26:59has asked him to do that she inevitably takes it away because he's so bad
- 27:03at it. It's but Hollywood doesn't seem to play the role of that wife
- 27:07very well. Did you see Pacino at the Oscars. You didn't even do
- 27:11the nominees. He just came out and he's like, and best Picture,
- 27:15here's the winner was over. He didn't read the nominees. He just I
- 27:22can't even blame Pacino on that. That's the producer's fault. You know.
- 27:26He's dull. You don't trust if you look, you reach a certain age,
- 27:30or you just don't care anymore. So stop letting these people do things.
- 27:33But there's also a teleprompter that like like tells him what he needs to
- 27:37say, and he just walked out and goes all right, best Picture and
- 27:41your winner, and then just opened it up and then just goes here you
- 27:44go and walked away. Then that was that the show was done. There
- 27:48was no a recap of the nominees. It's just like I'm done, I'm
- 27:52old, I'm tired, I had a baby too, see it. So
- 27:56you would think you would think at their age, those two guys would have
- 27:59learned how to pull out. They have so much money, like they don't
- 28:03care anymore, Like I'll give some to that one too, one who cares
- 28:08you're you're you're going on the assumption that they can still even get on top.
- 28:15I just feel at that age, they're just laying there and it's and
- 28:19letting a blue pill do its work. Yeah, you know, they were
- 28:22just so excited that at worked, they didn't care what came next or if
- 28:26they came next. So anyway, simou lu is thirty five today. Also
- 28:36celebrating a birthday today is one of tennis's greatest stars, Maria Sharapova. She
- 28:47is thirty seven today, and not only is she a great tennis star,
- 28:53but she is also one of the loudest. One of her grunts on the
- 28:59court was at one hundred and one point two decibels, which makes her grunting
- 29:04on a tennis court louder than a lawnmower. Wow. And in case you're
- 29:10curious as to what it sounds like or you haven't heard it in a while,
- 29:12I got you covered. Oh boy, you got a that sounds like
- 29:47Trey's foot on a treadmill. It just is that a tennis match or a
- 29:51gang bang. I understand your thought process, Tray. You hear all that
- 29:59and you wonder if that's what if that's what Maria schrypol. This sounds like
- 30:02on a tennis court. What does she sound like in bed? I'm glad
- 30:04you asked, Okay, Uh, all right. You know what they say
- 30:19is you want to you want a lady, You want a lady in the
- 30:22streets, and you want in the sheets. So yeah, I told you
- 30:33the whole lickny thing would come back to ground to make sense. Well,
- 30:38is she one of the greatest tennis players of all time? Because she kind
- 30:41of fell off quick? If did she just make her money when her Grand
- 30:45slams and was like I'm done? Yeah? I think so, okay,
- 30:48because she, like you know how some like will go on into like doing
- 30:52the like the the exhibition matches and like older you know, tours and stuff
- 30:57like that to to keep bringing in cash. I think she was just like
- 31:00I won my I think she did it twice, or she won the Grand
- 31:03Slam and was like, yeah, I think I've done now. Yeah,
- 31:07yeah. The I think I think the main point of her tennis career was
- 31:10to get her the f out of Russia, and it worked and she decided
- 31:14to uh kind of hang it up. I guess at a time when she
- 31:18felt like it was I want to say maybe she had an injury, which
- 31:23now that I'm thinking about it, might have been might have been because she
- 31:29got a little carried away with a crucifix. I mean, I can see
- 31:33how that might affect your tennis playing ability, like how she's professional on the
- 31:41court in demonic in bed Russians. You're listening to the Treehouse visitors online at
- 31:57Treehouse on air dot. Let's get Daniel Cook from cookdf W Roofing and Restoration

- 32:42you know, unfortunately they're not going to be able to move as fast
- 32:45as they thought they were. Their house is you know, it's been the
- 32:49same for a long time, and they thought they were going to move and
- 32:52just upgrade, but now they're not able to do that, so we're able
- 32:54to walk in and really give them some ideas as far as either changing out
- 32:59their master bath and making it more of a of a luxury field. And
- 33:02of course, you know, if the wife likes that, then that makes
- 33:06everybody's happy. And it's really it's really unique. You know, we can
- 33:10walk in, show the ideas and then we transform the bathroom. At the
- 33:14end of the day, they're like, Wow, I'm glad we stayed here.

- 33:29have these remodeling you know, items that come up, it's like you're going
- 33:32into a brand new house. And the same with kitchens, the same with

- 34:35want to gauge something real quick. I'm curious, all right, Trey Ray,
- 34:42does that turn you on? Like? Is that? Is that too
- 34:45crazy for you? Like? Is that is Have we found the line?
- 34:49Yeah? Yeah, I think that's uh. I think when you uh get
- 34:53into the you know, you know, does she need an orgasm or an
- 34:57exorcism? Yeah? I think that's that crosses the line. I'm glad we
- 35:02finally know where to draw it. Did you need fresh batteries or a priest.
- 35:07Yes, So if you fall on the approved side of that line,
- 35:16feel free to email Torey Treehouse on era a gmail dot com. Otherwise,
- 35:22this is what this is. This is what Trey's bedroom could sound like.
- 35:35It is the first time in my life that I watched The Exorcist and was
- 35:39laughing because that is that is that is obviously a very disturbing scene for many
- 35:46reasons. Yeah, but it's the first time that I watched it under you
- 35:51know, in a different context, because I'm thinking, oh, this is
- 35:53probably what Maria Sharpova sounds like in bed, and I couldn't stop laughing.
- 35:58So that's why I had to force Yeah, and how old was Linda Blair
- 36:04when she had to do that? Seem like fourteen thirteen, I believe thirteen.
- 36:07Yeah, that's that's gotta be. That is traumatic. And we were
- 36:12talking earlier about you know, Hollywood remaking, rebooting, redoing. Yeah,
- 36:17I don't, I mean have they. I know they made a couple of
- 36:21Exorcist sequels, but they haven't done a straight up, you know, remake
- 36:27of this with an underage girl, and by today's standards, I don't think
- 36:30you can. No, And I think it was the closest one was the
- 36:35exorcism of Emily Rose. I think that's the closest one. But she I
- 36:37think was still like a young adult, like seventeen eighteen. Would exorcism hasn't
- 36:43happened. But if they do, I think they'll go back to the original
- 36:45story. So the original story of the Exorcist is actually a boy who lived
- 36:50in Boston. Okay, well that's what the story is based on. Hollywood
- 36:52made it because it was like, oh, it'd be more it'd be far
- 36:57more frightening if it was a little girl, and they were right, and
- 37:00they were right and it worked. But the original story is about it,
- 37:02you know, like an eight or nine year old boy, ten year old
- 37:06boy who lived in Boston. So that's h and I apparently that kid is
- 37:09still alive, like they've tried to every every couple of the years or so,
- 37:14they try to get an interview with him, and he's like, I'm
- 37:15good, I just want to I just want to forget what happened. Uh
- 37:19and yeah, So they try to get interviews like right around it's always right
- 37:22around Halloween. I'm like, can you just pick like a Thursday in July.
- 37:25This kid probably just like any other time, but now, But no,
- 37:30I don't think they would remake that. I don't think I mean with
- 37:32evangelicals and protests and things like that. Like, I think you'd have a
- 37:37hard time remaking that movie. I think just because it with the content and
- 37:44an underage performer. I think is probably where you have a major issue as
- 37:49far as trying to remake the Exorcist. Yeah, but we'll always have the
- 37:54original. Yeah, that is true. And didn't it get in didn't get
- 38:00an X rating when it first came out. I thought it was one of
- 38:04like the first pictures no idea. I don't know. I remember seeing I
- 38:08think it was eleven when I saw it, and I checked under my bed
- 38:12every night for six months. Turned Yeah, you should have been looking on
- 38:15top of the bed, because that's where the problems were. What you should
- 38:17have been you yourself should have been under the bed. Yeah, checked them
- 38:22a closet every night, and then checked my bed under my bed every night
- 38:24for six six eight months. At least. See the movie that kind of
- 38:29screwed me up as a kid. There's two. One was Jaws. I
- 38:32wouldn't I watched that. My family let me watch that way too early.
- 38:37I was like five, oh wow, OK. Yeah. And that same
- 38:40year when I watched Jaws for the first time, we also we also did
- 38:45our first beach trip to Florida, went to Cocoa Beach and I wouldn't get
- 38:50in past my ankles because I had seen Jaws. And my dad and my
- 38:53sister went off god knows where, and I kept asking my mom was like,
- 38:57did jobs get them? They both came back, so no, uh.
- 39:01And the other one was poulter Geist. Thanks to Poultergeist, I was
- 39:05in my I wasn't I think I was actually twenty one before I tried tequila.
- 39:09Thanks to Poultergeist and also Poulter Guys has me very cautious around clowns and
- 39:15puppets. Poultr Guist didn't do anything for me because I was like, isn't
- 39:22that the kid from Happy Days? That's that's the little girl. I was
- 39:25like, isn't she on Happy Days? That's that's her. I'm not scared
- 39:29of her. She's wine. It also had me cautious around TV static yeah,
- 39:36and and and little high pitched ladies. Poulter guyst really did a number
- 39:42on me, and I think is why I mentioned a major shift in the
- 39:49airline industry, Trey Raj or either of you seat recliners on planes? I
- 40:00mean, uh, it depends because I mean there's not a lot of recline
- 40:07depending on the airline and where you're sitting, So I really don't doesn't It
- 40:12doesn't really bother me if it does or doesn't. All right, Trey,
- 40:15are you a seat recliner on the plane? It kind of depends what section
- 40:20and what kind of plane and what's the space. I mean, if it's
- 40:22like a cramp coach on a Southwest. No, I'm not going to do
- 40:25that to the person behind me. But yeah, amen, amen, Amen,
- 40:29Amen, Amen Amen. That's why I really hate it when I have
- 40:34that courtesy and I extend it to the person sitting behind me, but the
- 40:39person sitting in front of me doesn't have that courtesy and just go all the
- 40:44way back. And now I'm just mad. But there's good news. There
- 40:46is good news because there might be a shift to getting rid of reclining seats
- 40:52in economy all together on airlines, okay, a cord to Conde Nast traveler.
- 41:01Reclining seats are one of the most controversial airline amenities. For some,
- 41:05it's a necessity for getting comfortable on long flights, but for others it's a
- 41:08source of broken laptops, spilled drinks, and mid flight arguments no matter which
- 41:13can't be fall into. It's no secret that personal space and economy has slowly
- 41:16but surely eroded over the years, and as airlines release new seat designs,
- 41:21some travelers fear they may be stuck sitting upright in the near future. Basically,
- 41:28the airlines are experimenting with seats that don't recline whatsoever. Seats that don't
- 41:35recline have fewer mechanisms inside and therefore way less lightening the load on board each
- 41:39plane and helping reduce fuel costs. Also, recliners require more maintenance, so
- 41:45that's added cost. This is nope, go ahead, drag. This is
- 41:51one of those things where like British Airways has been way ahead of all.
- 41:55I mean, this is obviously more of an American story because I flew a
- 42:00British Airlines flight from London to Stockholm and which is yeah, same seven thirty
- 42:06seven, very southwest like, but yeah, there were you were. I
- 42:09mean, it was as crammed in as you could possibly get, no reclining,
- 42:13no nothing, I mean, so yeah, and that was twenty years
- 42:19ago, so I'm yeah. I think I think like their version of in
- 42:23Ireland, their version of Spirit of things called Ryan Air, Yes, and
- 42:27Ryan Air. I think that they were trying to figure out how to get
- 42:30people to stand like which is suff with the handle? Yeah, I just
- 42:32do the handles like to do on buses and trains. Yeah, I'm like
- 42:36on a plane, like how much? Now you're just being cheap? Now,
- 42:43I was like, you you want to get to island, you might
- 42:45die, but it's going to be. And speaking of being cheap, no
- 42:49recline seats on planes have been flying for years on low cost carriers like Spirit
- 42:55and Allegiant, who refer to the stationary seat says pre declined as they're molded
- 43:00at a slightly deeper angle than regular seats in the upright position. I like
- 43:05pre reclined interesting, pre reclined. That just basically means like instead of sitting
- 43:12at like a five degree upright angle, it's like seven. Like ooh,
- 43:17thanks. I just never I've never reclined in one of the seats and thought,
- 43:22oh my god, this is the difference. This is what's gonna make
- 43:24this light. You know, you're fantastic. I agree, that's part of
- 43:28the Yeah, that's part of the reason why I don't bother with reclining my
- 43:31seat when there's someone behind me, because the times that I have reclined it,
- 43:37it didn't make a difference anyway. Yeah, and if it's uh,
- 43:40if it's even again in business class or first class, if it if it's
- 43:45not a lay down bed. I know that some of them can go pretty
- 43:49far back where you feel like you're in a lazy boy, But even then
- 43:52you still feel like you're in a recliner. But if they have the one
- 43:54like I've done, the ones with the lay down beds, and that's the
- 43:57game changer. Oh but those are so rate I can't even I can't even
- 44:01fathom that. I saw I saw an Instagram video like a month or so
- 44:06ago of a couple that did one of the Emirates first class flight things,
- 44:14and honest to God, I'd be afraid to do that because it would ruin
- 44:19any other cheap seat I would get there. It does. I've done,
- 44:23I've done. I've been on Emirates before and then uh, the next time
- 44:28I went, I was like, oh, well, I guess I'm in.
- 44:30I was in coach, but uh, it was I was making the
- 44:34flight attendant laugh. And so what she ended up doing. I was on
- 44:37the very back row and I picked up myself. I was like, you
- 44:38know what, I'm just gonna get the aisle the very back row, and
- 44:42she moved the other two people around, so I had the entire road of
- 44:45myself. Uh. And then I just kind of made a palette. Uh
- 44:50and then just uh. And that was my first class. It was still
- 44:53wasn't. I mean, she was nice enough to bring me stuff from first
- 44:57class, like the meal and like like snap or whatever. But it's still
- 45:01way different when you have like a bar, you know, like there's a
- 45:05there's an in flight DJ. Why. I don't know. I don't know
- 45:07how you land that gig. I don't know how you auditioned for that gig,
- 45:10but it sounds great. I'm pretty sure your uncle runs the airline or
- 45:14something. Yeah. Well yeah, I mean, but it's a full on
- 45:16bar. And like there's another one on the Emirates. I think it's only
- 45:20a few planes have it, but there's like a three bedroom apartment yeah above
- 45:23it, and it's I know. I was actually listening to a flight attendant
- 45:27to talk about this the other day when I was in Kansas City and it's
- 45:30from London to Kenya on Emirates first class is twenty two thousand dollars each way.
- 45:37Yeah, my good lord. But I mean, yeah, the most
- 45:42baller thing I've ever done for hang on, let me think. Yeah,
- 45:47the most baller thing I've ever done on an airline is get the big front
- 45:51seats on Spirit. But here's the thing, even for listeners, Like they
- 45:55don't tell you here because it's a very European thing, but they have these
- 45:59things called counter deals. So if you go up to the counter like an
- 46:01hour or two before your flight and go do you have any upgrades into business
- 46:06class? They'll give it to you at like a minimal rate because they want
- 46:10to fill the seat, because they have the food to dispense, they have
- 46:14the alcohol. They've got to get rid of the inventory. So I've done
- 46:16that before. Like I was flying from here to Alexa Istanbul and I got
- 46:21to the counter. I was like, is there anything for an upgrade to
- 46:23business class? And they're like four hundred bucks deal. Well, and that's
- 46:28and that's also always be nice to the gate agent because that really is at
- 46:31their discretion and not only if they want to sell it to you, but
- 46:36they have a range of which you know, from they can say, oh,
- 46:39yeah, you know, it'll be one thousand dollars like it would be
- 46:43if you bought it, or then go like you said, they want to
- 46:45fill the seat, yeah whatever, Yeah, yeah, I always do.
- 46:50My trick is like I always walk up and go, hey, can I
- 46:52go ahead and just check this bag here because I don't want to take up
- 46:55too much of the overhead space for the other passengers, And that works every
- 46:59time. It's like, you're so nice. I'm like, I just you
- 47:01know, I don't have a lot, so I just want to make sure
- 47:05that whenever you feel like it and I don't have my seat assignment. By
- 47:07the way, that usually works pretty well stealing that next thing, you know,
- 47:19I'll be flying the plane on Spirit. I'm sure there's I'm sure there's
- 47:22gonna be an option soon enough. I think there is a fly yourself program
- 47:27that they're working on. Also, uh, Courtney Love has found herself in
- 47:37the news. Courtney Love has a new BBC radio series called Courtney Loves Women,
- 47:46and in an interview, she decided to bash some mega stars that are
- 47:52women. She started with Taylor Swift, saying Taylor's not important. She might
- 47:58be a safe space for girls, and she's probably the Madonna of now,
- 48:00but she's not an interesting artist. Then she went on to say about Beyonce.
- 48:08She says, I like the idea of Beyonce doing a country record because
- 48:13it's about black women going into spaces where previously only white women have been allowed.
- 48:16I just don't like her music. So Courtney Love, this is this
- 48:22is the lead singer of Whole exactly. Yeah. Yeah, Courtney Love,
- 48:28the lead singer of Whole, says Taylor Swift, is not interesting, which
- 48:31I find ironic, not only because Courtney Love's new show is called Courtney Loves
- 48:36Women, but also because the most interesting thing about Courtney Love blew its head
- 48:40off thirty years ago. Well shed off either way. Yeah, that's the
- 48:49interesting thing about Courton Love is how she got the brain pieces out of her
- 48:52clothing. Yeah, you know, when the investigation is still open. Yeah.
- 49:00Later, it's like on the heels of OJ nine because he had the
- 49:02Trial of the century. I think we all can agree that Courtney Love had
- 49:07the murder of the century. And I heard a rumor. I don't know
- 49:09if you guys have heard this, and it would be really cool. But
- 49:13apparently Dave Grohl Chris Novaselik have said that they're going to reunite Nirvana, but
- 49:19it's going to be Francis being Komain as the lead singer, so the daughter
- 49:24very that would be kind of cool. And and and Courtney Love. I
- 49:28mean, I okay, I understand. Like I was talking to some people
- 49:31the other day, I was like, I don't understand the mega appeal of
- 49:36Taylor Swift. The music is poppy and catchy. I'll give it to her.
- 49:38It's a very talented entertainer. Like I would watch that movie of her
- 49:43concert. It looks great. Yeah, I've got that on my on my
- 49:46list of things to watch. Of course you do, hey, back off.
- 49:51I watched I watched The New Roadhouse before, I watched the Eras tour,
- 49:54and I would do the reverse so and and and to Beyonce'. I
- 50:00just don't. I just don't like it. I don't. It's awesome that
- 50:04she's doing it, and that she's got all these you know, eight songs
- 50:07on the charts or whatever it is, and more power to you, you
- 50:09know, get in where you fit in and make your money. I just
- 50:12don't have to. I hate this idea that you like, well you have
- 50:15to like it, but no, I don't. But it's feeling. Look
- 50:19at what it's doing for I mean, it's feeling arenas. I'm like,
- 50:21okay, well I'm not going I think Taylor Swift is poppy. I get
- 50:27the I get why kids like it. I'm forty eight. It's been a
- 50:32cruel summer for me for ages. I'm okay with it. It's nice,
- 50:39Like if it's on the radio, I'm not going to turn it off.
- 50:43But I tried the Beyonce the Texas Hold Them song. I gave it a
- 50:46shot twice, and I was like, can't It's just not a good song.
- 50:51I don't think she went I don't think Beyonce went far enough as far
- 50:54as the country. That's what it is what I wanted to do. We
- 50:58needed to see Beyonce going full country, playing spoons on her legs, yeah,
- 51:04or you know, going into a jug or you know, remixing on
- 51:07a washboard. Yeah. Or or do Beyonce featuring Dolly Parton like I would.
- 51:12You know, you get that, you get that stamp of approval and
- 51:15you know the song is gonna be good because Dolly's not gonna throw herself on
- 51:17there. I mean, Dolly did a rock album, uh and she she
- 51:21collaborated with a lot of rock stars. Uh, so do the same.
- 51:24And I just uh, I just never. It has nothing with race or
- 51:29gender. I'm just like, if the music's good, it's good. Courtney
- 51:31Love sucks and has always been terrible. I mean, the best thing that
- 51:36happened was her killing Kurt Kbank because they went on Lolla Poloza the next year
- 51:39and that was it. That was all he claim to fame. She had
- 51:43one video on MTV and then that was it. She's got it now.
- 51:47She's got a BBC radio series, yes, because those are wildly popular,
- 51:54almost as popular as iHeart podcasts. Heart I Heart gave a History of clubbing
- 52:05a History of nightclubs podcast to Paris Hilton. Oh yeah, okay, or
- 52:14just called it places I've boned in. She started going through a camera roll.
- 52:22So that's a show. I listened to. Top of the Charts,
- 52:29Baby a Dog or Nicole Richie. No, I think we know who it
- 52:39is. Oh boy, it's fun in here, all right. Try.
- 52:55I hope your foot gets better. I'll hope it gets better looking. We
- 53:04will see you next time in the Tria. M hmm.
