- 0:45Speaker 1: not at your peak level. Yes, and Casey, hi, how
- 0:50Speaker 1: are you? I'm good. I'm good. I'm just checking make
- 0:53Speaker 1: sure he's all set up. I plugged in the computer form. Yeah,
- 0:56Speaker 1: and I'm that shit. I did that ship city yesterday.
- 0:59Speaker 1: One O two, Casey, one O two PM for Donald
- 1:03Speaker 1: is very nice, Thank you for that. Yep, Wait, what
- 1:07Speaker 1: do you say? Do what I can do? One out
- 1:09Speaker 1: two for you is very nice versus one twelve so mad?
- 1:16Speaker 1: The fans can't see how mad his face is. All right,
- 1:20Speaker 1: we gotta start the show. We love you, hi, hie,
- 1:22Speaker 1: Casey fie. What does he mean by one out two?
- 1:27Speaker 1: You got on at one O two? My god? Hi oh,
- 1:31Speaker 1: I was on way before that, y'all didn't let me
- 1:33Speaker 1: into my fucking room. I was on hold way before that. Donald,
- 1:36Speaker 1: I have the participant list right here. Yeah, don't lie
- 1:39Speaker 1: to Daniel. Daniel could eat a dick. He've been freaking
- 1:44Speaker 1: hanging out with these new girl motherfucker's a little too
- 1:47Speaker 1: much now now now on the sudden, now sending Daniel
- 1:52Speaker 1: all up pretty. They treat me better over there, they
- 1:54Speaker 1: treat me. I get fucking They send me gift baskets.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Look at Dan, did they send you gift back kids?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Zoe sent us really great bo chocolates. I'm not sending
- 2:08Speaker 1: them enough shit you want that? Do you want that?
- 2:12Speaker 1: I know you're good, I know, But do you want
- 2:15Speaker 1: on this? That weird batman thing I showed you? I
- 2:18Speaker 1: can nobody wants that weird. I'm gonna take it. What
- 2:22Speaker 1: are you gonna do? We collectible statues? What are you
- 2:25Speaker 1: gonna do it? Don't don't don't mention what it is
- 2:27Speaker 1: because I don't want to dis I don't want to
- 2:29Speaker 1: dis anybody. But I feel like Joel could find a
- 2:32Speaker 1: home for it. She's a collector of this sort of memorabilia. Truly,
- 2:37Speaker 1: It'll go great on my bookshelf with all my other
- 2:39Speaker 1: cool collectibles. Yes, okay, and I just started getting into
- 2:43Speaker 1: oh god, first of all one, Yes, but that's not
- 2:50Speaker 1: what I was talking about. I'm really starting to get
- 2:53Speaker 1: into these Mesco one twelve action figures. They're high in
- 2:57Speaker 1: action figures. Uh, there's so freaking dope. They don't have
- 3:02Speaker 1: any Star Wars yet, but they have this thing called
- 3:06Speaker 1: Rumble Society and Gomez and they do all of the
- 3:10Speaker 1: DC and Marvel characters and their costumes. But but it's
- 3:15Speaker 1: like like Wolverine's outfit is made out of leather, and
- 3:19Speaker 1: like it's and there's six inches, so you could put
- 3:22Speaker 1: them into all of your six inch diorama. Uh, if
- 3:26Speaker 1: you are an action figure collector, that is anyway it
- 3:30Speaker 1: is fire so are you? Can you use them for
- 3:33Speaker 1: animating or they just for decoration? Well, for a lot
- 3:36Speaker 1: of people it's for decoration. For me, it's for animation.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Do they have Yelena from Black Widow? I just posted
- 3:43Speaker 1: them in the chat fill in check. Marvel definitely has,
- 3:48Speaker 1: Marvel definitely has a bunch of things. But I don't,
- 3:52Speaker 1: I don't. I've never seen I don't see it. Well
- 3:55Speaker 1: then I'm not shopping there. Um. I love you guys.
- 3:59Speaker 1: High fans, high listeners, thank you for joining us. As always,
- 4:03Speaker 1: we appreciate the time that you give us. You you
- 4:05Speaker 1: you tune in, you could be tuning into one of
- 4:08Speaker 1: nine quadrillion podcasts, and you choose us, and we genuinely
- 4:13Speaker 1: thank you for that. I hope that we're worthy. I
- 4:16Speaker 1: hope that we're as good as the New Girl podcast
- 4:19Speaker 1: produced by Joel and Daniel. How's that going, guys? Um?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Everybody getting along over there? Andy in fighting it's been
- 4:27Speaker 1: really lovely. Just you know, they're just kind people and
- 4:34Speaker 1: there's going You're cutting in and out Joel to see
- 4:37Speaker 1: our experience. It sounds what she said came through though. No,
- 4:44Speaker 1: well it sounded it sounded like a lot. Oh well
- 4:46Speaker 1: because on our side it sounded like a lot of gibberish,
- 4:49Speaker 1: just not sounding. Yeah, this is what it sounds like
- 4:51Speaker 1: a lot. It sucks over there. They don't. Yeah, they're
- 4:55Speaker 1: still fresh. They haven't been broken yet with the with
- 4:58Speaker 1: the breakup. Yeah, Donald's right, with the breakup of your sound.
- 5:02Speaker 1: What came out was it sucks over there. I'm not
- 5:06Speaker 1: happy and bangs are lame. That's what I heard. That
- 5:13Speaker 1: that's what I heard. I heard. That's what I'm talking about.
- 5:16Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. Yes, Um, Now I have
- 5:20Speaker 1: a question right off the bat, Donald, Now i've seen
- 5:22Speaker 1: Clueless before. I don't remember you horseback riding that's in Clueless. Yes,
- 5:29Speaker 1: there was a television show. Oh the television show version,
- 5:34Speaker 1: because Scrub's wiki is trying to say that we stole
- 5:38Speaker 1: this from Clueless, and I'm like, this wasn't in Clueless.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It wasn't a television show something very similar. So this
- 5:46Speaker 1: is the season finale of season five, and the only
- 5:48Speaker 1: thing that comes to mind, Donald, is we still have
- 5:50Speaker 1: no plan for what happens when we finished this darn show.
- 5:54Speaker 1: We're enjoying this, The fans are enjoying this. We're flying through.
- 5:58Speaker 1: We're gonna be on seasons six. You're gonna be naked
- 6:02Speaker 1: in the fetal position on the floor crying when we
- 6:05Speaker 1: get to season eight. You know what, I don't think
- 6:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna cry, but I do think we need to
- 6:11Speaker 1: hurry up and get our ship together and figure out
- 6:13Speaker 1: what we're gonna do next. Yeah, because looks and if
- 6:16Speaker 1: you do a normal interview celebrities, shit, that's you need
- 6:19Speaker 1: a booker, Like I gotta hire it because because I'm
- 6:22Speaker 1: not trying to like call everyone in my phone book
- 6:24Speaker 1: and beg people my phone book. Isn't that thick? I
- 6:27Speaker 1: only know a few people. I know you. Yeah, I
- 6:30Speaker 1: already on the show. Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 6:32Speaker 1: So it's like, you know what we're gonna dude, you
- 6:36Speaker 1: could get to the Hill. I d like we could
- 6:38Speaker 1: totally do a sit uh Scrubs crossover. The fans are
- 6:42Speaker 1: asking for it, you know what I mean. I've never
- 6:46Speaker 1: watched an episode of Psych. I'm not gonna lie though,
- 6:48Speaker 1: but I come in either. I haven't either, but it
- 6:50Speaker 1: does feel a bit. And I don't mean to disum
- 6:54Speaker 1: Psych fans or anyone involved with Psych. It does feel
- 6:57Speaker 1: like whomever created it was a fan of Scrubs. Shots fired. Yeah,
- 7:04Speaker 1: I feel like I feel like that was shots fired.
- 7:06Speaker 1: But I didn't mean that there's a Psych one. I'm
- 7:09Speaker 1: sure that's actually when I ran into Dulee Hill at
- 7:12Speaker 1: the airport, I was like, you gotta do a podcast.
- 7:14Speaker 1: We're having so much fun doing it and uh, and
- 7:17Speaker 1: I bet your Psych fans would love it. And I
- 7:20Speaker 1: was there. I was there trying to convince Duley to
- 7:22Speaker 1: do a Psych rewatch. I mean, I bought him a mimosa. Yeah,
- 7:28Speaker 1: you know how I love Duley Man. That's a very
- 7:30Speaker 1: classy thing to do by And I said, I'm going
- 7:34Speaker 1: to be letting a mimosa, Duley Hill, would you like one?
- 7:36Speaker 1: And he said, as a matter of fact, Zach Braff,
- 7:38Speaker 1: I would nice. So I went and got that man
- 7:41Speaker 1: a mimosa. I like that. I also love the fact
- 7:46Speaker 1: that we talked about we brought it back around. We're
- 7:48Speaker 1: talking about Duley Hill again. I missed I missed this conversation.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I missed us talking about the talents of this man.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Did you know that Duley is one of the best
- 7:57Speaker 1: half dancers in the world, in the world, in the world.
- 8:00Speaker 1: When I was a young person, there was a Broadway
- 8:03Speaker 1: show called The Tap Dance Kid. I believe Alfonso uh
- 8:08Speaker 1: erated original role, and then I believe Dulay Hill took over.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I'm not sure where. I think either Doulay did the
- 8:17Speaker 1: travel or I'm not sure, but Savion took over. I
- 8:21Speaker 1: think Savion Glover took over for then. I believe is
- 8:25Speaker 1: definitely who who were young men who played The Tap
- 8:28Speaker 1: Dance Kid. I think Dulay did it on Broadway, maybe
- 8:31Speaker 1: after Savion, Well, he was definitely in the group of
- 8:35Speaker 1: young So the musical. All I remember from the musical,
- 8:38Speaker 1: of course, is that it involved the premise involved a
- 8:42Speaker 1: young child, such great music, and a young child who
- 8:45Speaker 1: was an incredible tap dancer. Now I don't remember any
- 8:47Speaker 1: of the music, such great music. And you know what
- 8:50Speaker 1: else I remember, you else, I remember what they're big
- 8:53Speaker 1: stunt because you know, musicals back in the day, if
- 8:55Speaker 1: you were gonna be on Broadway, you had to have
- 8:56Speaker 1: like a crazy set, or you had to was the stunt.
- 8:59Speaker 1: You know. Now it they're often more minimal. But the
- 9:01Speaker 1: Roosevelt Alan cable car goes down across the whole stage
- 9:05Speaker 1: and it was a big it was a big wow
- 9:08Speaker 1: moment in their set. They had some great music that
- 9:11Speaker 1: in that show, Like I've even put some of it
- 9:14Speaker 1: in rhymes, like parts of it. Like they had one
- 9:17Speaker 1: song called class Act about how you know, the mom,
- 9:24Speaker 1: the dad and the uncle had this dope dance team
- 9:28Speaker 1: back in the day that was real fire and they
- 9:30Speaker 1: used to, you know, do all of this dancing. But
- 9:33Speaker 1: obviously something happened and now they don't dance anymore, and
- 9:36Speaker 1: the dad's more serious and they've got all real jobs.
- 9:39Speaker 1: But the song was like we've got a class act.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It's a well known fact. You can tell by the
- 9:48Speaker 1: swell clientell. We attract Dipsy and me and Daddy makes three? Okay.
- 9:58Speaker 1: And then there was also dancing is everything? Dancing is
- 10:05Speaker 1: having fun like the tire of these fucking tap dance
- 10:09Speaker 1: kids songs. Anyway, Joel, did you find the trivia out
- 10:11Speaker 1: a fonzo? Rim? Did the original Broadway cast? Do? They
- 10:14Speaker 1: hilled at the National Touring Company two years later? Okay,
- 10:17Speaker 1: thank you. It's the season five finale, everybody, And what
- 10:21Speaker 1: a segue. That's a segue five six, seven eight sho.
- 10:28Speaker 1: We made about a bunch of doc nurses around here,
- 10:42Speaker 1: YadA around here. So let's get into the television show Scrubs.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Donald zoom zoom zoom. Now, wasn't zoom zoom zoom a
- 10:55Speaker 1: car commercial thing? I don't remember? It was a Mazda
- 10:59Speaker 1: carcaman zoomoom zoom. It was. As Hunda is the sponsor
- 11:09Speaker 1: for these shows, I will respectfully say, zoom zoom zoom
- 11:15Speaker 1: was an awesome joke. It came out of nowhere. First
- 11:18Speaker 1: of all, I I think the Hunda people are fine
- 11:21Speaker 1: with us mentioning a different car in terms of how
- 11:25Speaker 1: it relates to scrubs. Okay, Well, Zoom zoom Zoom was
- 11:28Speaker 1: an awesome joke I remember because the song was so catchy. Well,
- 11:34Speaker 1: at the time we were doing this, it was everywhere.
- 11:36Speaker 1: It was their big campaign. Yeah, and it was their
- 11:40Speaker 1: jingle zoom zoom zoom. But there was like so many
- 11:43Speaker 1: versions of it. There was like zoom zoom where they whisper,
- 11:47Speaker 1: and then there was the there was like, I bet
- 11:50Speaker 1: they even did like the African version of it where
- 11:52Speaker 1: it was like the African Serengetti home zoom zoom zoom
- 11:59Speaker 1: zoomzoomzoomsomeber I don't remember that particular ad. I do remember,
- 12:06Speaker 1: I bet you they go ahead. I just loved it.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Somewhere there was some John Tesh like figure that was
- 12:13Speaker 1: sitting at home zoom zoom zoom and got paid a
- 12:16Speaker 1: lot of money, sent it in, sent it, submitted it.
- 12:21Speaker 1: He's like, they're never gonna go for this. What if
- 12:23Speaker 1: I just go zoom zoom zoom and Moss like, oh
- 12:27Speaker 1: my god, It's like, what's the what's the tagline? Well,
- 12:31Speaker 1: they want the card to you know, seem like it
- 12:34Speaker 1: goes fast, so like a zoom yeah zoit he goes
- 12:39Speaker 1: into the conference room and he's like, all right, guys,
- 12:41Speaker 1: you ready, zoom zoom zoom. And they're like they're just staring.
- 12:46Speaker 1: They're like, is there more? And he's like, no, that's it.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It's just zoom zoom zoom. And they're like, John Tesh,
- 12:55Speaker 1: you get the fuck adding here? You have lost for magic?
- 13:00Speaker 1: What about McDonald's. They don't even have a fucking and
- 13:03Speaker 1: there's not even words in it. It's just say that's it.
- 13:08Speaker 1: That's it. It's like some yeah, but how hard is
- 13:13Speaker 1: it to come up with? I just want to know
- 13:18Speaker 1: if it was a buy out or if he gets
- 13:19Speaker 1: paid per zoom that's not even probably is like when
- 13:26Speaker 1: somebody's like, yo, you know how the song goes just
- 13:28Speaker 1: like Papa zoom zoom. All right, so listen, um, this
- 13:35Speaker 1: is the introduction of zoom zoomzoom. I really laughed out
- 13:37Speaker 1: loud when I slid in on the counter hit him
- 13:40Speaker 1: trying to ask her out on a date. Um the uh.
- 13:45Speaker 1: We know that Cox and Jordan are sick and tired
- 13:48Speaker 1: of the toddler stage. Potty training is happening. Jack seems
- 13:52Speaker 1: to be pooing all over the place, but working on
- 13:54Speaker 1: his potty training. Donald, you must have a lot of
- 13:57Speaker 1: experience with with potty training. Yes, pooed into television. I do.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I remember when Rocco pooed in the toilet for the
- 14:05Speaker 1: first time, and we were all very excited. But then
- 14:08Speaker 1: what it meant was we would have to wipe his
- 14:10Speaker 1: butt after he pooed in the toilet. And it wasn't
- 14:13Speaker 1: as sloppy as it wasn't a diaper, but there's something still. Yeah,
- 14:19Speaker 1: it's not pleasurable. It's not something that I'm looking forward
- 14:22Speaker 1: to as a parent if I ever become a parent.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Um that stage where your kid is calling from the
- 14:28Speaker 1: bathroom and you have done, I don't like that. Yeah.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I want to be like, all right, great, wipe your ass. Yeah,
- 14:37Speaker 1: so what's the thing they can't wipe? They don't know
- 14:39Speaker 1: how to wipe their ass, not for a while. Well,
- 14:41Speaker 1: they know how to, they get the concept of it
- 14:43Speaker 1: and everything. They're gonna do a sloppy job. That'sh It's
- 14:45Speaker 1: gonna be all over there. But you know what I mean.
- 14:48Speaker 1: So you have to go in there. They yell I'm done,
- 14:52Speaker 1: and then you have to go in there and what
- 14:54Speaker 1: you have to spread. I don't have to do that anymore.
- 14:56Speaker 1: But you know, if you have a good system, they
- 14:59Speaker 1: you know, it makes it a lot easier. You get
- 15:05Speaker 1: to wipe the butt and it's it's it's way easier
- 15:08Speaker 1: than having to clean a diaper too. Diaper's the worst, man,
- 15:11Speaker 1: that'sh I just think it's funny, like a diaper gets
- 15:14Speaker 1: inside crevices. At least with the dog, you you pick
- 15:16Speaker 1: it up with a little baggy and you don't ever
- 15:19Speaker 1: have to get in there, like you know, you have to.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I'm not like taking toilet paper to my dog's ass. No,
- 15:28Speaker 1: if you had a monkey, I imagine you would. What
- 15:30Speaker 1: about if it's diarrhea and you have to be like,
- 15:32Speaker 1: oh man, well you have to pick that up if
- 15:35Speaker 1: you have a dog. If I'm done and you go
- 15:40Speaker 1: in there and it's a hot mess, at least it's
- 15:42Speaker 1: in the toilet and not on the floor, I don't know.
- 15:47Speaker 1: But it stinks too, that's the other thing. It smells
- 15:49Speaker 1: so bad. Look, you guys, the human feces is horrible.
- 15:52Speaker 1: H Fecal matter just is not. Uh, it does not
- 15:58Speaker 1: go well with at least when it's yours, it's bad enough,
- 16:02Speaker 1: But when it's somebody else's even if you made the person.
- 16:05Speaker 1: It's not got to be enjoyable at all. Yeah, not
- 16:08Speaker 1: at all. How old are they when they're like finally
- 16:10Speaker 1: able to wipe? Um, hopefully they wipe at a very
- 16:15Speaker 1: young age. Um, you know, but sometimes it can last.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm gonna try yelling. I'm gonna try
- 16:22Speaker 1: yelling when I'm done. I'm done. See if anybody comes running,
- 16:26Speaker 1: anybody come and wipe that ass man so Kelso's legs.
- 16:30Speaker 1: This is a running joke that Kelso has ripped legs. Now,
- 16:33Speaker 1: I don't think that was really ken. I think it's
- 16:35Speaker 1: safe to say, Yeah, I looked like like Luke for
- 16:38Speaker 1: Rignos or like Lance Armstrong. I mean they were very ripped. Yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 1: and they're shaved, so it's probably a cyclist. Yeah. And
- 16:48Speaker 1: Ted's lost his house, it's been evicted and he and
- 16:53Speaker 1: his mom are living in his car or her car
- 16:56Speaker 1: with the confront of the with the cats in front
- 16:57Speaker 1: of the hospital. Now I really fall for Kim because
- 17:02Speaker 1: she not only she was so beautiful, but she zoom zoom, zooms,
- 17:06Speaker 1: she zooms zoom. Yeah, and then she claims to have
- 17:11Speaker 1: invented it. And we never gave Maza any tip of
- 17:15Speaker 1: the hat to this. This was just like we pretended
- 17:17Speaker 1: that the Masta thing had never happened, because anybody could
- 17:20Speaker 1: have made that up. Just like that. I'm loving saying
- 17:25Speaker 1: the people at MAZA really missed out an opportunity to
- 17:27Speaker 1: try and capitalize on this. I mean, what were they
- 17:31Speaker 1: gonna do, sue us? No, I mean like working a
- 17:34Speaker 1: Mazda ad, you know, for le extra money. I bet
- 17:36Speaker 1: you they did. I bet you. In some way we
- 17:38Speaker 1: were promoting moms get that once. Do you remember what
- 17:41Speaker 1: it was I forgot to be spoken about this. I
- 17:43Speaker 1: think it was like I think it was like a vacation.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Yes it was. It was so cringey. I still cringe
- 17:47Speaker 1: about it when I think about it. But this was
- 17:49Speaker 1: in the era just we were shooting scrubs at this
- 17:52Speaker 1: point in the era when they had begun to try
- 17:56Speaker 1: and get ads into shows, like in in new ways
- 18:00Speaker 1: other than just going to commercials, because everyone started TVO
- 18:03Speaker 1: came out and was fast forwarding commercials and they started
- 18:06Speaker 1: to figure out like, oh what if they somehow worked
- 18:08Speaker 1: it into the show. And some people were doing this
- 18:11Speaker 1: more effectively than others. But ours was like our bills
- 18:14Speaker 1: attempt on our shows was like, we were like looking
- 18:17Speaker 1: for a vacation spot to go and I was like,
- 18:19Speaker 1: but Turk, if we used trip Advisor, we could be there.
- 18:24Speaker 1: They'd help us save up and you were like, I
- 18:27Speaker 1: don't know, JD. And it was so I hated it.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I hated I felt like I felt so dirty. But
- 18:32Speaker 1: I did it for Uncle Bill. Well, you know, something
- 18:36Speaker 1: had to pay the bills, probably got to do a
- 18:38Speaker 1: really awesome finale because of it, or got to go
- 18:41Speaker 1: to Was this the year we went to Vegas? I
- 18:44Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know. I just remember that we
- 18:46Speaker 1: stopped after that because we all didn't like it. It
- 18:48Speaker 1: felt really really gross. Um So the door hit at
- 18:51Speaker 1: the end of the cold open, Wow, that was me.
- 18:54Speaker 1: And you know I'm always impressed with a glass door hit.
- 18:56Speaker 1: What hap that you really well? The curtain into the
- 19:00Speaker 1: breaking of the head is definitely not me. The trapping
- 19:03Speaker 1: the curtain head through glass well, which is obviously breakaway glass,
- 19:07Speaker 1: is not um me, But I do do it my
- 19:11Speaker 1: standard go to glass door face hit right, which was fire.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I'm always proud of it when it looks good and
- 19:19Speaker 1: you do it well, thank you. It's one of my skills,
- 19:22Speaker 1: you know. I don't have many skills, Donald, I make movies.
- 19:26Speaker 1: You have quite a few skills. No, I can. I
- 19:27Speaker 1: can act. I can make movies. What else can I do?
- 19:32Speaker 1: You can dance, you can sing. I can't really dance.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I can sing competently. You can dance enough to be
- 19:37Speaker 1: on Broadway, That's true. And when you see the dance off,
- 19:41Speaker 1: I gotta say, way, do you see the dance off?
- 19:43Speaker 1: I do? And cheaper by the dozen. I had a
- 19:45Speaker 1: hip hop coach, Donald, Wait a second, you had somebody
- 19:48Speaker 1: come up and be like this woman? Was it that?
- 19:51Speaker 1: Oh my god? Was it the lady was that was like,
- 19:53Speaker 1: this isn't hip hop? This is hip hop? Your legs out?
- 19:58Speaker 1: Was it that lady? Was it that lady that's like,
- 20:01Speaker 1: see this hip hop? Is this hip hop? Is? Do
- 20:03Speaker 1: you see that shoulder pop? That's hip hop? Isn't that lady?
- 20:07Speaker 1: Please tell me what it was. During COVID, it would
- 20:10Speaker 1: be in my gym at my house and this woman
- 20:12Speaker 1: would come over and she was amazing. She's hilarious, and
- 20:15Speaker 1: we she'd crank hip hop and dance music and we
- 20:18Speaker 1: we just she would like, let me see what you
- 20:19Speaker 1: can do, like just start moving, and it's so embarrassing,
- 20:24Speaker 1: like I would just be like, you know, in front
- 20:25Speaker 1: of the mirrors in my gym, I'd be like just
- 20:27Speaker 1: moving and like giving every showing her everything I got,
- 20:30Speaker 1: and she's like, okay, okay, I see who we're working with.
- 20:34Speaker 1: But she was like she was like inspiring, like she
- 20:37Speaker 1: would really like like no matter how embarrassing and nerdy
- 20:40Speaker 1: and dorky I looked, she would be like all right,
- 20:42Speaker 1: all right. And then she teached me some moves and
- 20:45Speaker 1: we had fun. She was a blast, and then we
- 20:48Speaker 1: did a whole choreographed dance number in the in the
- 20:51Speaker 1: in the in Cheaper by the Dozen coming to March eighteenth. Well,
- 20:55Speaker 1: I just find out you're getting a spoiler alert, but
- 20:57Speaker 1: you're getting a big one of those big boxes where
- 21:00Speaker 1: they say, here, watch the movie with these treats for
- 21:04Speaker 1: your kids, and maybe I can get Joel and Daniel
- 21:08Speaker 1: one of those two. I will make an unboxing. I
- 21:11Speaker 1: would hear in Hollywood for those of you who don't
- 21:13Speaker 1: know they want to get stars, who who might um
- 21:16Speaker 1: tweet or or instagram about something. They send you these boxes,
- 21:22Speaker 1: especially new during COVID when they can't really have premieres anymore,
- 21:24Speaker 1: and they'll have like, you know, things in it, like
- 21:28Speaker 1: you know, if it's not a kids movie, let's say
- 21:30Speaker 1: it's a it's a it's a regular adult movie. They'd
- 21:32Speaker 1: be like, please enjoy this dinner and glass and bottle
- 21:36Speaker 1: of fancy wine whilst you enjoy an early screening of
- 21:40Speaker 1: such and such, And they're hoping that you're gonna then
- 21:43Speaker 1: go on Instagram and Twitter and be like, oh my god,
- 21:45Speaker 1: I love this so much, right right, right, right, So anyway,
- 21:50Speaker 1: they're doing that for cheaper and for for for parents,
- 21:53Speaker 1: for parents like you, Donald, You'll be getting something juicy.
- 21:57Speaker 1: That's great. We are on fire. These guys got their
- 22:00Speaker 1: other podcasts that they do. Good for you. I'm happy
- 22:03Speaker 1: for the New Girl podcast. Good for you. That's great.
- 22:07Speaker 1: But my buddy Zach got a movie that he directed
- 22:11Speaker 1: and he's also got cheaper by the dozen. Yeah, heads
- 22:13Speaker 1: are happening, happening, all right, let's do Let's talk about
- 22:16Speaker 1: the show Scrubs. Okay, come on, enough enough enough pumping
- 22:20Speaker 1: up Donald and all his achievements. Um, what are you
- 22:23Speaker 1: talking about? I'm just I love you. Todd is grabbing
- 22:27Speaker 1: his crotch a little too much. Todd says, it's moving
- 22:30Speaker 1: looking at Judy's belly and then she says, Todd, you're
- 22:34Speaker 1: touching your penis, yes, and he says no, sorry, he
- 22:38Speaker 1: said I felt it move yea. She says, you're touching
- 22:40Speaker 1: your penis. Um, floating head doctor is back. Floating head doctor.
- 22:46Speaker 1: What a mess floating head doctor creates. It just never
- 22:49Speaker 1: works out when when when the body is separated from
- 22:52Speaker 1: the head. I think that's a lesson that we all
- 22:53Speaker 1: need to learn from Scrubs. But well, head has all
- 22:56Speaker 1: the brains, but head also head butts. Yeah, head head
- 23:00Speaker 1: Elizabeth Banks because she's not getting enough mic time at
- 23:03Speaker 1: the karaoke shows. Good, don't go break in my heart? Yeah,
- 23:06Speaker 1: what his body expected to do? He's getting cooked dinners?
- 23:10Speaker 1: But without a brain right? Or eyes or eyes right? Trinky?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Very difficult. You need you need a brain, obviously. I'm
- 23:19Speaker 1: sure there's probably ridiculously amazing blind chefs, but you need
- 23:24Speaker 1: a brain. I definitely feel like you need a brain
- 23:27Speaker 1: to cook anything. Yes, So um, there you go. That
- 23:33Speaker 1: a body shows up on fire from trying to cook
- 23:36Speaker 1: and stays on fire. Nobody puts body out, yes, And
- 23:39Speaker 1: when jad headbuts Banks and she falls down, um, he
- 23:42Speaker 1: asks everyone to clap their hands in the air and
- 23:45Speaker 1: body still on fire is the only one that listens.
- 23:48Speaker 1: But you know what, how does he listen? It must
- 23:51Speaker 1: be a feeling that body has. I guess. I guess
- 23:54Speaker 1: the mind is still controlling body even though they are separated.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I see icy. So you're saying the head can tell body, Well,
- 24:03Speaker 1: he's able to say body, come. I don't know. There's
- 24:06Speaker 1: just a lot of holes in this how this works. Okay, yeah,
- 24:10Speaker 1: because it's a floating head. Also, I like the way
- 24:13Speaker 1: I say I've beat up many nudes, Like the nerdiest
- 24:20Speaker 1: person in the world is trying to brag. I think
- 24:24Speaker 1: we were. Also, I think we were. You also got
- 24:26Speaker 1: a kick out of how you said nerd, especially back
- 24:29Speaker 1: then we used to I remember us doing that where
- 24:32Speaker 1: we used to take words and try to stretch them
- 24:34Speaker 1: out and make them sound funny. But the idea of
- 24:36Speaker 1: the nerdiest person in the world being like, oh, don't
- 24:39Speaker 1: you worry, Kim, I beat up many minutes. How about
- 24:46Speaker 1: I want my baby back, baby back, baby back, I
- 24:48Speaker 1: want my baby back. That was the second. That's the
- 24:50Speaker 1: second jingle of a big company that we were hijacking
- 24:54Speaker 1: this one. I wonder if we had to get the
- 24:55Speaker 1: licensing for because we're actually talking about Chili's, the restaurant.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I want my baby back, baby back, baby chilies, baby
- 25:03Speaker 1: back ribs. Have you ever had Chili's baby back ribs? Donald,
- 25:07Speaker 1: I've never had their baby back ribs, but I have
- 25:10Speaker 1: gone to Chilies for happy hour. What kind of food
- 25:13Speaker 1: is chilies? It's kind of just like everything right, Uh? No, barbecue,
- 25:18Speaker 1: it's bar barbecue. Yeah, okay, Joel, have you been to Chilies? Oh? Yeah, Man,
- 25:24Speaker 1: I've been broken in college inside of the Chilies before. Daniel,
- 25:29Speaker 1: you seem like a Chilies guy. Absolutely on the road.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Ian and I would stop at a Chilies too all
- 25:33Speaker 1: the time to get some apps. Great spot. They also
- 25:37Speaker 1: got a good burger. They got a good peppercorn burger there,
- 25:40Speaker 1: you know what I mean. They got a good margarita
- 25:41Speaker 1: at Chili's. It sounds like they have a baby back ribs.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I want my baby back, baby back, baby baby, baby back,
- 25:47Speaker 1: baby back. Yeah, I've never I've never had the baby
- 25:51Speaker 1: back ribs. So baby showers, let's talk about that. Isn't
- 25:56Speaker 1: what is the steal again? I'm it's far in to me.
- 25:58Speaker 1: It's mostly traditionally the women go right and then the
- 26:01Speaker 1: husband comes at the end. Or isn't that the stereotypically
- 26:05Speaker 1: the way it's saying stereotypically, that's how it is done.
- 26:09Speaker 1: The I remember for my baby shower, we went and
- 26:13Speaker 1: played golf and then I came at the end or
- 26:16Speaker 1: something like that. I don't think I've ever been to
- 26:18Speaker 1: a baby shower. I've been to, Joelle. Have you been
- 26:22Speaker 1: to them? I know, I know in the movies, they're
- 26:24Speaker 1: always like the women are all gathered around and then
- 26:26Speaker 1: the woman is opening up presents, going oh, it's so good. Yeah,
- 26:31Speaker 1: that's essentially that's even capsuleted perfectly what happens. But then
- 26:34Speaker 1: there's also the disgusting thing like someone desither there needed
- 26:37Speaker 1: to be games and they should be baby related, and
- 26:39Speaker 1: for the most part they're discussed like tastes baby food,
- 26:43Speaker 1: what it is, which they do in the show. Um,
- 26:46Speaker 1: but I want to do one where they smeared a
- 26:47Speaker 1: bunch of different types of like brown desserts and napers
- 26:51Speaker 1: and they were like smell and I guess what, I'm like,
- 26:53Speaker 1: that is foul? Why did you? I didn't like the idea,
- 26:58Speaker 1: and all I had to do was go, oh, that's
- 26:59Speaker 1: so if I have to smell a diaper and guess well,
- 27:02Speaker 1: for the for the parents of said baby that's soon
- 27:07Speaker 1: to be born, it's a great day because you're getting
- 27:11Speaker 1: all of these things. Like I'm gonna tell you something
- 27:13Speaker 1: right now, for all of you who hate going to
- 27:16Speaker 1: baby showers and everything, show up with something when you do, go,
- 27:20Speaker 1: show up with something that's helpful. Yeah, sure the outfit
- 27:23Speaker 1: is cute. Yeah sure that's a cute little rattle. But
- 27:26Speaker 1: come with some diapers. Yo. If you want to help out,
- 27:29Speaker 1: come with a freaking crib. Yo. You want to help out,
- 27:33Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like for real, you want
- 27:35Speaker 1: to You think people clown, but diapers go a long way. Man,
- 27:39Speaker 1: you run out come with My stepsister had twins and
- 27:45Speaker 1: I send her like a trailer of diapers. It was like,
- 27:50Speaker 1: you are the best brother ever in the history of brothers. Man.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Like that's understanding the assignment all of this. Let's make
- 27:59Speaker 1: this shit cute. It's some bullshit, but I give him
- 28:02Speaker 1: like to buy the cute little outfit and no, but
- 28:05Speaker 1: look because they don't got no kids. Those are the motherfuckers.
- 28:08Speaker 1: I haven't got no kids. No, man, I'm trying to
- 28:10Speaker 1: tell you right now, you've got to say, if I'm
- 28:12Speaker 1: forced to come, I'm buying a cute little outfit. I'm not.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm not. Like if I pissed at you,
- 28:19Speaker 1: they'd be like this motherfuck because the outfit only gets
- 28:22Speaker 1: warned like maybe once or twice. The only serotonin hint
- 28:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna have the whole experience is when they opened
- 28:29Speaker 1: my baby Jordan's bring I'm just saying, bring something to
- 28:37Speaker 1: the table that's gonna help the young couple out, or
- 28:39Speaker 1: that's gonna help whoever is receiving said presents. Bring something
- 28:43Speaker 1: that's gonna help them. Bring a mother fucking a dresser
- 28:47Speaker 1: or a changing table. You know what I'm saying, hook,
- 28:49Speaker 1: I'm somebody up, all right? Well, the poor JD's Deck
- 28:53Speaker 1: has become a cruising spot for older gay gentleman. That's hilarious, man, best,
- 28:59Speaker 1: best your your JD's freaking Deck has become pretty much
- 29:05Speaker 1: a social club. It's a hangout spot for not just
- 29:08Speaker 1: gay men, but senior gay men. Senior gay men. Yes,
- 29:11Speaker 1: and Jad's cleaning up and he finds an Apple teeny
- 29:14Speaker 1: and he goes Apple teeny. When did they start drinking
- 29:18Speaker 1: straight guy drinks? They don't even clean up after themselves
- 29:23Speaker 1: and it's really rude. It's one thing to use my
- 29:25Speaker 1: my deck as a as a gay cruising spot, but
- 29:28Speaker 1: at least clean up. How did they find said deck? How? Oh,
- 29:33Speaker 1: the janitor posted it in the hospital, right, But how
- 29:36Speaker 1: did the How is the hospital such a freaking like
- 29:38Speaker 1: it's the inner web all of a sudden, like it
- 29:41Speaker 1: just travels, you know, any any senior gay person at
- 29:44Speaker 1: the hospital because they told their friends, and word travels fast. Listen.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I imagine there's not a lot of beautiful outdoor spots
- 29:51Speaker 1: that are specifically intended for old gay hooking up and
- 29:57Speaker 1: mingling and um in the area of the hospital. And uh,
- 30:01Speaker 1: and this one was well advertised with flyers. The janitor
- 30:06Speaker 1: made flyers that say old gay like decks and it
- 30:13Speaker 1: has my picture on it. I would love to have
- 30:16Speaker 1: one of those deck, just one of those flyers. I
- 30:20Speaker 1: would have one of those flyers frames. It's a great
- 30:25Speaker 1: frame piece. Um. If any fan wants to give me
- 30:28Speaker 1: a fan present and they know how to use photoshops,
- 30:31Speaker 1: just please recreate that for me. Okay. So, and also,
- 30:34Speaker 1: the old gay men love your hose. Yeah. I tried
- 30:38Speaker 1: to try and spray them off the deck with my hose,
- 30:43Speaker 1: and they apparently loved it. And then I screamed of
- 30:49Speaker 1: them that lay Miss was in town, meaning that that's
- 30:52Speaker 1: where they should be right and and you knew from
- 30:56Speaker 1: personal experience that I'm like, daddy, lay business in town.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Why aren't you there? That's a better spot for you.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I want to talk about this horseback riding thing, which
- 31:10Speaker 1: is pretty epic, and I shot this. Builder Lawrence directed this,
- 31:13Speaker 1: but I directed the uh the sort of beach second union,
- 31:17Speaker 1: And I'll tell you stories after this quick break. This
- 31:30Speaker 1: beach thing gargle was so epic to shoot. Um, and
- 31:34Speaker 1: it's only on screen for a short amount of time,
- 31:37Speaker 1: but if only I could show you how epic it
- 31:39Speaker 1: was to do that. Um, we had a we had
- 31:41Speaker 1: a hum so, so we had the horses, but it's
- 31:45Speaker 1: very hard. We had the stunt people riding the horses bareback,
- 31:47Speaker 1: because that's pretty damn hard for someone who doesn't know
- 31:50Speaker 1: how to ride a horse. So what we did was
- 31:52Speaker 1: I did we did this research, and I was like,
- 31:53Speaker 1: what are they use on like like for close ups
- 31:56Speaker 1: and horseback riding movies? And we found out that one
- 31:59Speaker 1: of the things they have of you remember the old
- 32:01Speaker 1: school exercise bikes that would move like back and forward
- 32:05Speaker 1: as you pedaled. So someone came up with the idea
- 32:09Speaker 1: of putting two of those on a trailer, and then
- 32:15Speaker 1: we pulled that with a hummer. There was a hummer
- 32:18Speaker 1: literally this rig. Maybe I can find a picture, Joell,
- 32:21Speaker 1: we could post online. It was so elaborate, but it
- 32:23Speaker 1: was like a hummer that you know a film, a
- 32:25Speaker 1: hummer that had been tricked out for filming that had
- 32:27Speaker 1: a crane arm off the back of the hummer that
- 32:30Speaker 1: was pulling the trailer with the two old school exercise
- 32:34Speaker 1: bikes on it. So we could get that shot that
- 32:37Speaker 1: starts on Elizabeth Banks loving it and then slowly pans
- 32:41Speaker 1: over to me and painting it because that was not
- 32:44Speaker 1: going to be feasible at all on real horses to
- 32:48Speaker 1: get that shot, So, I don't know, it was fun.
- 32:52Speaker 1: We had a lot of toys that day to execute that,
- 32:54Speaker 1: and it's really funny. I laughed out loud when you
- 32:57Speaker 1: when the camera revealed it's such a funny shot of
- 33:01Speaker 1: Elizabeth Banks um smiling and just in heaven on horseback,
- 33:05Speaker 1: and then you panned me just having my nuts ransacked.
- 33:09Speaker 1: I don't know why anyone would bear back horse ride.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I mean you need like a cup well, you need
- 33:16Speaker 1: you need more than that, man, like riding bareback. There's
- 33:20Speaker 1: there's no like you gotta have. You gotta have skill
- 33:24Speaker 1: as a horse. Of course, you have to have skill.
- 33:27Speaker 1: I'm saying my experience, even briefly, was that. Or you
- 33:32Speaker 1: really got on a horse back? Yeah? I got on
- 33:34Speaker 1: bare back the horse for like a few shots. Yeah,
- 33:37Speaker 1: get the funk out of here. Yeah, you're out of
- 33:39Speaker 1: your mind right there. Man, that's had to hurt. I
- 33:42Speaker 1: don't remember if I had a cup on or not,
- 33:43Speaker 1: but it doesn't it doesn't dovetail nicely with the male anatomy.
- 33:49Speaker 1: I thought it's not comfy. It took a lot of
- 33:55Speaker 1: work to get those shots, but it looked pretty and
- 33:57Speaker 1: it was very funny. And and then the crane's up
- 34:00Speaker 1: and it looks like she's like about to perform filatio
- 34:04Speaker 1: on me, but she's feeling my balls and she says, um,
- 34:09Speaker 1: the right one's always been bigger, And I say yep,
- 34:14Speaker 1: and I go, wait, you're right? Or stage right because
- 34:17Speaker 1: always funny. Stage right, for those of you who don't know,
- 34:21Speaker 1: is a theater term for because you know, when you're
- 34:24Speaker 1: facing out if you're on the stage facing out. That's
- 34:29Speaker 1: how you that's how you talk about left and right.
- 34:31Speaker 1: So stage right, if you're on the stage facing out,
- 34:33Speaker 1: would be the right way, and in stage left would
- 34:36Speaker 1: be the left way. So you know, if someone's if
- 34:38Speaker 1: a director's directing you while you're on the stage and
- 34:40Speaker 1: they say left right, it's confusing because you're looking at
- 34:42Speaker 1: each other. So that's how the term stage right and
- 34:45Speaker 1: stage left became necessary. Yes, Daniel, I have a question.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I've also heard the term for the other side being
- 34:50Speaker 1: called house right and left exactly. Yes. Cool. So they
- 34:54Speaker 1: don't often use that, um no in theater, but but
- 34:58Speaker 1: it is. It is u I think often more used
- 35:01Speaker 1: in like concerts and venues and stuff. House left, house right,
- 35:05Speaker 1: stage left, stage right. So let's talk about some of
- 35:07Speaker 1: the themes of the show. We talked about it. This
- 35:12Speaker 1: whole shows about everybody having a new transition. When when
- 35:15Speaker 1: I heard that, I thought it was going to be
- 35:16Speaker 1: like a job, you know, coming through and people moving
- 35:19Speaker 1: on to new things. I thought that's what was about
- 35:21Speaker 1: to happen because we were going into the end of
- 35:24Speaker 1: the season and I, you know, not necessarily remembering everything
- 35:29Speaker 1: as the show started. I was like, Okay, I'm I'm wrong.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Maybe the transition is you know, something else. But there's
- 35:38Speaker 1: a lot of great moments in this Jordan and Cox
- 35:44Speaker 1: realizing how much fun even in their misery. Yeah, how
- 35:48Speaker 1: much fun it was to watch Jack get to the
- 35:52Speaker 1: moment that he's at right now, and how now they've
- 35:56Speaker 1: they're informed and they could definitely handle what's ahead of
- 35:59Speaker 1: them now that they're having a baby. Turk and Carla,
- 36:02Speaker 1: well I'll get to them too. But I couldn't understand
- 36:06Speaker 1: why Elliott why she was cock blocking. I think it's
- 36:09Speaker 1: see I mean, if if my first answer is that
- 36:12Speaker 1: Bill is seeding the fact that she's already jealous. Um,
- 36:17Speaker 1: you know, we know they're going to end up together spoiler,
- 36:19Speaker 1: but um, he's he's laying the foundation of whenever she's
- 36:24Speaker 1: sensing that that JD kind of likes someone, that she
- 36:27Speaker 1: becomes a c blocker. Well she lingers in the background
- 36:30Speaker 1: and everything like that, and Elliott's Elliott read moment killer
- 36:34Speaker 1: that was in this episode, dude, And I definitely feel
- 36:38Speaker 1: like Bill was like, you know, in real life, this
- 36:41Speaker 1: is how I believe it to be. Also, if you
- 36:44Speaker 1: truly love someone and it's not too meant to be
- 36:47Speaker 1: let them go and if they come back then you
- 36:50Speaker 1: know it's it's supposed to happen, but you know you
- 36:54Speaker 1: gotta let them be free. And at this point, so ja,
- 36:56Speaker 1: I mean, come on, JD has been a part of
- 36:58Speaker 1: their sex acts, um, you know, being the the apple
- 37:02Speaker 1: thief and everything. Like he's really gone the extra mile
- 37:06Speaker 1: with Keith. Right now, he's got a hottie like Elizabeth
- 37:09Speaker 1: Banks and all of a sudden she's trying to take
- 37:12Speaker 1: her to a Neil Diamond concert and doing all this
- 37:14Speaker 1: cock blocking Elliott fun moment killer. Yeah, speaking of Neil Diamond, Yeah,
- 37:19Speaker 1: your impression finally gets a nice cameo. Did I tell
- 37:22Speaker 1: you hit me up on I'm not sure if it
- 37:25Speaker 1: was the Instagram or the Twitter. Well, I think it
- 37:28Speaker 1: was the Instagram he hit He didn't hit me up.
- 37:31Speaker 1: He posted me doing him on scrubs or something like
- 37:38Speaker 1: that in my DM or something, and I wrote back
- 37:42Speaker 1: and hearted it or I oh no, I reposted it
- 37:46Speaker 1: and he harted it. We didn't have a conversation, lingo.
- 37:49Speaker 1: I reposted it and they he hearted it. Yeah, and
- 37:53Speaker 1: then I gave that heart a thumbs up right then,
- 37:56Speaker 1: And I think we're friends now, and I think that
- 37:58Speaker 1: I think that means I'm going to his next wedding. Well,
- 38:02Speaker 1: I think that means that he appreciates your impression. Um,
- 38:04Speaker 1: do you want to give us a little sample now
- 38:06Speaker 1: for those of us who for those listeners who haven't
- 38:08Speaker 1: heard it in a while, The Transformers more than meets
- 38:14Speaker 1: the eye. Robots in disguise or two butts, face their
- 38:27Speaker 1: battles to destroy the evil forces of Omnicron around the world.
- 38:40Speaker 1: We come into the come into America, round the world.
- 38:48Speaker 1: You when I was a kid, man, That's what was cool, dude.
- 38:51Speaker 1: When I was a kid. He used to come on
- 38:53Speaker 1: during like the best of tape recorders or records. They
- 38:59Speaker 1: used to average ties them during Voltron or or during
- 39:03Speaker 1: like the commercial break for g I, Joe and So.
- 39:05Speaker 1: I used to have to That's that's the only way
- 39:07Speaker 1: I know Neil Diamond. I don't know any of the
- 39:09Speaker 1: songs and hole, I just know like, oh, so that's
- 39:12Speaker 1: like you have this just psychological thing that for some
- 39:15Speaker 1: reason they were advertising Neil Diamond tracks during kids cartoons. Yes,
- 39:20Speaker 1: so that's why you tied it together with Transformers. Yeah, man,
- 39:24Speaker 1: that's how that's how it next. I never knew the
- 39:26Speaker 1: origins because it would be like in between atter we
- 39:31Speaker 1: would be like we uh, we're no, no, we'll we uh.
- 39:36Speaker 1: The transformers will be right back, and then it would
- 39:38Speaker 1: be a commercial and would be like Neil Diamond's greatest
- 39:41Speaker 1: hits everywhere around we come into America, turn on your light,
- 39:52Speaker 1: let it shine wherever you go, love on the racks.
- 39:58Speaker 1: I'm surprised. Okay, So JD and Turk work out a
- 40:05Speaker 1: line for today. J D and Turk work out a
- 40:11Speaker 1: line that they think will work on getting Kim back
- 40:14Speaker 1: after the debacle that was the horse riding incident where
- 40:18Speaker 1: she had to inspect my testicle. It's hard to believe
- 40:22Speaker 1: that j D wouldn't get an erection on the beach
- 40:26Speaker 1: if after beautiful well, even after that, a beautiful woman
- 40:32Speaker 1: um that he likes, undoes his pants and reaches in
- 40:38Speaker 1: to feel his scrodum that has just been destroyed by
- 40:43Speaker 1: a horse's back. Right, But I think the character and
- 40:47Speaker 1: I know him well, may have still got a movement.
- 40:56Speaker 1: But she's a urologist, so she knows she's seen this before,
- 41:00Speaker 1: so she understands what's this about. Vasectomy's not taking that's
- 41:04Speaker 1: a thing. Well, sometimes people mess it up, and and
- 41:08Speaker 1: and that has happened. You're supposed to go back and
- 41:10Speaker 1: get it check though, So I guess he didn't go
- 41:13Speaker 1: back to check. Well, can you tell me why? How
- 41:16Speaker 1: it is that of a sectomy? Which is I understood
- 41:19Speaker 1: it was snipping the connection? Is it the vas deference? Uh?
- 41:25Speaker 1: Is that? Is that the correct tube? But whatever it is,
- 41:29Speaker 1: it's a snip, is it not? How does that come undone?
- 41:32Speaker 1: It's like a magic trick. It's like a David Blaine trick.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Do you want to talk? You know? When he coughs
- 41:36Speaker 1: up frogs, it's like it's like coughing up semen. Do
- 41:41Speaker 1: you want to talk? Um? Oh gosh, do you want
- 41:45Speaker 1: to talk? Baby Gifts the janitor's subjects from. Because she
- 41:49Speaker 1: has to look this up, I'll posted it in the chat.
- 41:52Speaker 1: She posted the chat. A vasectomy can fail if the
- 41:55Speaker 1: doctor misses the vast deference. You guys better be impressed
- 41:58Speaker 1: that I pulled out vast fucking deference. I am a
- 42:01Speaker 1: fake doctor. A vasectomy can fail if the doctor misses
- 42:07Speaker 1: the vast deference during the procedure. Feels like, isn't that
- 42:11Speaker 1: the main thing he's there to do? How does he
- 42:12Speaker 1: miss that in rare cases, the tube can regrow. If
- 42:18Speaker 1: this does occur, the vast deference is usually much smaller
- 42:21Speaker 1: than it was before. Sometimes sperm can make their way
- 42:25Speaker 1: from one end of the vast deference to the other. Wow. Shit,
- 42:30Speaker 1: while Johnny C or Doctor Cox must have some really
- 42:33Speaker 1: turbocharged sperm because they either that are really thin. It
- 42:37Speaker 1: could fit to that little tiny or horrible doctor most
- 42:42Speaker 1: most definitely a horrible, horrible doctor. Okay, let's talk about
- 42:46Speaker 1: the janitor's baby cage. Yes, the jan We're starting to
- 42:49Speaker 1: understand why. Yes, we're starting to understand why the janitor
- 42:52Speaker 1: is the way he is. He was raised in a cage, Yes,
- 42:58Speaker 1: he said it was a lot like the creeper without windows,
- 43:01Speaker 1: which is which is which is a windowless cage? Yes,
- 43:04Speaker 1: And then everyone gives him the evil look and he's like, oh,
- 43:07Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. It's for when they get a dog
- 43:10Speaker 1: Yoh yeah, yeah, Laverne wants to get Laverne wants to
- 43:13Speaker 1: get the lingerie from the baby store. Yeah. Well, we
- 43:16Speaker 1: know low Burns are freak because a lot of stuff
- 43:18Speaker 1: goes down at that above ground pool party. This is
- 43:22Speaker 1: where I got a little weird. The scoon rally. No,
- 43:25Speaker 1: that was weird too. Somehow it looked like a scene
- 43:28Speaker 1: out of Boba fet Um. Somehow Cox and Jordan convinced
- 43:32Speaker 1: Turk that the baby can grab his penis while he's
- 43:38Speaker 1: having sex. Yes with his wife. Well, I feel it's
- 43:42Speaker 1: a thing that comes up. I think that men are
- 43:45Speaker 1: are are often worried that that if they have sex
- 43:48Speaker 1: with a very pregnant woman where the baby is very
- 43:50Speaker 1: far along, that that the tip is somehow hitting their baby.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Do you ever have that concern? No, because I feel
- 44:01Speaker 1: like you would be you would be having sex with
- 44:02Speaker 1: Casey and be like being the kid's head, or because
- 44:09Speaker 1: it's you would be more like do do do Daniel? Daniel?
- 44:23Speaker 1: When you get pregnant, which seems like it's going to
- 44:25Speaker 1: happen any day now. Will you have that concern about um,
- 44:29Speaker 1: about your shaft being too near the fetus. I'm gonna
- 44:33Speaker 1: plead the fifth on that one, okay, An. Is there
- 44:37Speaker 1: any progress towards marriage or baby talk in your relationship?
- 44:42Speaker 1: Are you guys still together? Yes, we're still together. Oh,
- 44:48Speaker 1: we are celebrating our second anniversary in February. Thank you.
- 44:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna send you whatever. Zoe Deschanelle sent you in
- 44:57Speaker 1: chocolate were topic that just cost you two months of
- 45:04Speaker 1: twitch promotion. Yeah, no more, dude, you're digging a deeper
- 45:12Speaker 1: and deeper hole. All right, never mind, Daniel doesn't want
- 45:16Speaker 1: to answer private questions. It's fine, I'll just lay my
- 45:19Speaker 1: soul out on here. Scooter Rally. Why why does jd
- 45:22Speaker 1: attend to Scooter Rally? Uh? It feels like Turk would
- 45:25Speaker 1: have loved that. I didn't invite you. Well you're busy.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Well he's busy. That's the That's the whole thing. Now,
- 45:33Speaker 1: when I saw that Scooter's rally, the first thing I
- 45:35Speaker 1: thought of was the was the Book of Boba Fette.
- 45:38Speaker 1: For some reason, I don't know why. Is that what
- 45:41Speaker 1: it is? Because you sent me the meme, that's what
- 45:43Speaker 1: it is, Yes I do. I'm not watching Boba Fette,
- 45:46Speaker 1: but but someone made a meme. Oh but the last
- 45:49Speaker 1: episode was fire. Have you watched it yet, Joel? It
- 45:55Speaker 1: was amazing? No good. I almost feel bad for everybody
- 45:59Speaker 1: else in fault in the show because that was like
- 46:04Speaker 1: dude the Mandalorian Yo. The Book of Boboet episode five
- 46:10Speaker 1: is the best episode of the Book of Boba Fett,
- 46:13Speaker 1: and Boba Fett is not in it at all, and
- 46:15Speaker 1: it was directed by Hoho Donald, Bryce Dallas Howard. My girl.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Oh she was good. She did a great job. How
- 46:23Speaker 1: does that happen? How does that happen? How does that?
- 46:27Speaker 1: Watch your dad through your whole life and then you
- 46:29Speaker 1: get really good at it. Your dad is one of
- 46:31Speaker 1: the most accomplished filmmakers ever. Oh no, I'm not talking
- 46:33Speaker 1: about Bryce. I'm talking about how I understand how Bryce's
- 46:37Speaker 1: Bryce's amazing. I think she's an amazing actress too. Hold on,
- 46:42Speaker 1: let's if you want to really get into it. I
- 46:44Speaker 1: think she's an amazing Marry episode she did was one
- 46:46Speaker 1: of the best. Wait, I want to do a little
- 46:50Speaker 1: side note on Ron Howard Tangent. I cannot recommend highly
- 46:53Speaker 1: enough this documentary called The Rescue, which tells the story
- 46:58Speaker 1: of It's on Disney Plus, and it tells the story
- 47:02Speaker 1: about those children who were caught in the cave in Thailand.
- 47:07Speaker 1: I believe, and then and then how they went about
- 47:10Speaker 1: rescuing them. It is incredible and I only bring it up.
- 47:13Speaker 1: First of all, see it. But I only bring it
- 47:15Speaker 1: up because Ron Howard has now made the narrative version,
- 47:21Speaker 1: which rumors are coming out is fucking incredible. And uh
- 47:25Speaker 1: so watch the documentary first and then you'll enjoy the
- 47:29Speaker 1: narrative version even more. Well, i'd love Ron Howard as
- 47:34Speaker 1: a director. That story was really fascinating. First of all,
- 47:36Speaker 1: how to how did those kids getting that kid? You
- 47:38Speaker 1: got to see the documentary? But what you want to
- 47:40Speaker 1: believe these kids to do that? Like I hear, I
- 47:43Speaker 1: don't know. You know, you gotta watch the documentary. You're
- 47:45Speaker 1: never gonna Joel and Dale might m, You're never gonna anyway.
- 47:50Speaker 1: I always have thought Ron Howard was a great director.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Um yeah, lots of range because he did. I mean,
- 47:56Speaker 1: he directed Parenthood, which is which is a classic. He
- 47:58Speaker 1: also directed Willow. Also, I'm saying, look at the range
- 48:02Speaker 1: between parent Hood and Willow. Yeah, Solo like the Apollo thirteen.
- 48:07Speaker 1: You didn't like Solo? I love Solo. What are you
- 48:10Speaker 1: talking about? I didn't like Solo? Oh I thought I
- 48:12Speaker 1: thought you didn't like Solo. You've never heard that come
- 48:15Speaker 1: out of my mind. Well, I know you don't ever
- 48:16Speaker 1: disparage the universe, but I mean, yeah I do. What's
- 48:20Speaker 1: one thing you've just I guess you've just disparaged Bob
- 48:24Speaker 1: Last Jedi rise a Skywalker, trash he is our guests,
- 48:34Speaker 1: but hold on, trash in a good way, trash in
- 48:36Speaker 1: a in a in a good way. The episode ends,
- 48:38Speaker 1: of course, with Elizabeth Banks saying that she's pregnant, which
- 48:42Speaker 1: we're gonna find out how that happened. We know it
- 48:44Speaker 1: happened in a very curious manner. All Right, we're gonna
- 48:47Speaker 1: take a quick break and we come back. Joel has
- 48:49Speaker 1: worked up some amazing callers for us. Here we go
- 49:02Speaker 1: and we're back, are back. Gargo Gargo, gurgle, We are back. Gurgle,
- 49:06Speaker 1: g gargo, gargo, gurgo who tank forever? All right, listen, ready,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I'm ready. Let's bring him in. We're gonna, We're gonna,
- 49:14Speaker 1: We're gonna fix their lives. We're gonna see what they
- 49:16Speaker 1: have questions are like played the theme song we Gotta
- 49:20Speaker 1: colla you can talk to you know, like a bolla,
- 49:28Speaker 1: smoke some jazz, maybe talking about the episode. So come on, Joan,
- 49:34Speaker 1: let's get this show. Ladies and gentleman. Give it a
- 49:40Speaker 1: for Andrew and hey, guys, how are you good? How
- 49:48Speaker 1: are you guys? It's so nice to meet you, Uh Andrew,
- 49:53Speaker 1: Just so the listeners get a full sense is in
- 49:55Speaker 1: front of a green screen. God knows what he does
- 49:58Speaker 1: with that end in Um has a gaming chair. I'm
- 50:02Speaker 1: assuming he might be a gamer. He also has what
- 50:05Speaker 1: a market a professional microphone. He may be a podcaster.
- 50:09Speaker 1: There look to be some oh man, what if what
- 50:12Speaker 1: if this he's another twitcher? What if they're twitchers like
- 50:14Speaker 1: freaking Daniel and they played video game twitchers and they
- 50:20Speaker 1: play with Daniel? Is that what it is? Yeah? Okay,
- 50:28Speaker 1: good yay? Is that really the case? What's what's your
- 50:31Speaker 1: guy's story? Yeah? So? Uh, first of all, uh, I
- 50:34Speaker 1: don't know how we're gonna follow up with doctor Penis
- 50:37Speaker 1: having been on the last episode, but we're gonna try
- 50:39Speaker 1: our best. Well, I think our audience is probably Penis
- 50:42Speaker 1: out after that, probably don't want to hear anymore. We
- 50:45Speaker 1: talked a lot about Penis. I thought we covered we
- 50:47Speaker 1: covered the penis. Not only did we cover with a shaft,
- 50:51Speaker 1: but we covered balls. Yes, we covered shaft, balls and
- 50:55Speaker 1: team we covered tip two. I think we covered two.
- 50:59Speaker 1: We covered tip to taint the whole thing. It's been
- 51:01Speaker 1: covered for a band or a screenplayer. All right, right,
- 51:06Speaker 1: so listen, Dartk and Milman, what's your story, what's happening here? Yeah,
- 51:10Speaker 1: so much. In the same way that you guys started
- 51:12Speaker 1: a podcast as a way to help distract people from
- 51:15Speaker 1: the pandemic and you know, provide a fun reprieve. We
- 51:19Speaker 1: started a charity last year that provides video games to
- 51:22Speaker 1: hospitalize cancer patients, and we stream on Twitch in order
- 51:25Speaker 1: to fundraise for that. Oh my goodness, that's not like us.
- 51:28Speaker 1: That is that is like find and philanthropic. We just
- 51:35Speaker 1: sit around and talk about penises and scrubs. I feel
- 51:37Speaker 1: bad that way. I was talking about tip to tank
- 51:40Speaker 1: right before. You love about you guys. It's good. I'm embarrassed.
- 51:47Speaker 1: You guys are really doing something good. So wait, say
- 51:50Speaker 1: it again. You raise money on your Twitch channel and
- 51:53Speaker 1: with that you then bring video game consoles and games
- 51:57Speaker 1: to cancer patient children. Yeah. Right, So we're currently working
- 52:01Speaker 1: with Hopkins. We're from Baltimore, so like Johns, Hopkins Hospitals
- 52:04Speaker 1: is right around the corner for us, and we're buying
- 52:06Speaker 1: like consoles and games to fill out their unit rooms.
- 52:10Speaker 1: So because currently they have like really outdated stuff and
- 52:12Speaker 1: the kids don't care about it and their friends aren't
- 52:14Speaker 1: playing it, so they kind of lose that social connection
- 52:17Speaker 1: and we're trying to bridge that again. My god, that's
- 52:20Speaker 1: so cool. Le Let's start off right away before we
- 52:22Speaker 1: even talk to you more with how do people uh
- 52:26Speaker 1: donate or or participate or or how does anyone help
- 52:30Speaker 1: you do with this mission? Yeah? So we stream on
- 52:33Speaker 1: twitch dot tv slash Chemotherapy, which is the name of
- 52:36Speaker 1: our charity is chemo therapy kind of like chemotherapy. Daniel
- 52:40Speaker 1: uh knows because we I pop into this chat from
- 52:43Speaker 1: time to time. It's you. We'll put it in our
- 52:50Speaker 1: majiggi on our page. But just say it again. Wait, so,
- 52:54Speaker 1: so are you saying they have to watch you play
- 52:56Speaker 1: to give or is there a way to like for
- 52:58Speaker 1: someone like me who has no interest in a grown
- 53:01Speaker 1: man play video games? It was give money. Yeah, absolutely So.
- 53:05Speaker 1: First and foremost are our twitch channel, which is twitch
- 53:08Speaker 1: dot tv slash Chemotherapy. But then we have a website
- 53:12Speaker 1: which is Temo Therapy gaming dot com. All right, now,
- 53:15Speaker 1: when you say timo, is it t E m O
- 53:18Speaker 1: t E A m O and then t E A
- 53:22Speaker 1: m O therapy gaming dot com. That's it. Well, that's
- 53:27Speaker 1: incredible guys, and good on you. And now what games?
- 53:30Speaker 1: We don't know him very much about Twitch. As you
- 53:32Speaker 1: know from listening to the podcast, we only know that
- 53:34Speaker 1: Daniel goes on there and are and we're boycotting Daniel's Twitch. Yes,
- 53:38Speaker 1: he's not allowed to get any plugged because of something
- 53:40Speaker 1: that just occurred so that he won't talk about his
- 53:42Speaker 1: private life, so he doesn't get to get plugs listen. Yeah,
- 53:48Speaker 1: so yeah, you guys should definitely if I was going
- 53:51Speaker 1: to pick out a Twitch person to watch, it would
- 53:53Speaker 1: be Team Temo Therapy. Yeah, because you want to, because um,
- 54:01Speaker 1: I just think it's the best twitch to watch. Now,
- 54:03Speaker 1: what game do you guys play? Not dann that one's
- 54:07Speaker 1: getting old and uh he doesn't do enough torquing, do
- 54:10Speaker 1: you What game do you guys play? Yeah, so we
- 54:13Speaker 1: play a variety of games. Uh, Brandon, I kind of
- 54:15Speaker 1: play different games. We both stream on that platform. Um,
- 54:18Speaker 1: I like to play through a bunch of games I
- 54:21Speaker 1: haven't played before, so first played throughs of games and
- 54:24Speaker 1: it's just been all different kinds anywhere from like God
- 54:27Speaker 1: of War to uh, you know, Brandon played Zelda Breath
- 54:31Speaker 1: of the Wild to uh, Pokemon, all sorts of games.
- 54:35Speaker 1: And your thing is like your style is I like
- 54:37Speaker 1: to play a game I haven't played before, and I'm
- 54:39Speaker 1: kind of figuring it out. Yep. Now are the fans
- 54:41Speaker 1: in the in the in the chat being like, no, dummy,
- 54:44Speaker 1: grab the sword? Oh yeah, oh yeah all the time.
- 54:47Speaker 1: And do you do you feel like that's cheating or
- 54:48Speaker 1: do you or do you go grab the sword? Yeah?
- 54:50Speaker 1: We try to. We try to not let them what's
- 54:53Speaker 1: called backsea gaming like backsea driving. Oh I see, are
- 54:57Speaker 1: you say to your fan? So you say to your fans,
- 54:58Speaker 1: don't give me unnecessar sorry clues. I want to figure
- 55:01Speaker 1: this out on my own exactly. But they still probably do.
- 55:03Speaker 1: They still do. Do you guys ever live stream with
- 55:07Speaker 1: the kids from the hospital? That is a yeah, that
- 55:13Speaker 1: that is definitely one of our goals one day is
- 55:15Speaker 1: to be able to do something like that. That's really
- 55:17Speaker 1: cool And Brandon News. Do you guys do it together
- 55:20Speaker 1: or separately? We have done it together normally. Our schedule
- 55:24Speaker 1: is Tuesday, Thursday, Me, Saturday, Sunday Andrew and there have
- 55:27Speaker 1: been special events where, like you know, he lives in
- 55:29Speaker 1: Virginia on primarily he'll come up and we'll both be
- 55:31Speaker 1: right here playing together and that's always fun. Or we
- 55:33Speaker 1: can do it, you know, over the Internet, but together
- 55:36Speaker 1: streams are rare and a unique event. And do you
- 55:39Speaker 1: think that people are are extra generous with because they
- 55:43Speaker 1: know it's going to such a good cause. Absolutely? Yeah. Yeah,
- 55:46Speaker 1: Twitch Channels we've been lucky. We didn't know what to expect,
- 55:50Speaker 1: but to growth has not been It's usually not as
- 55:54Speaker 1: fast as we've experienced, and I think it's because people
- 55:57Speaker 1: love the cause. Yeah, but he only started sorry, go ahead,
- 56:00Speaker 1: Andrew Sure. We only started in May of last year,
- 56:03Speaker 1: and since then we've raised something like twenty thousand dollars.
- 56:09Speaker 1: It's just been absolutely incredible. So that's a lot of
- 56:12Speaker 1: consoles you could buy. Well, it's actually I've got there's
- 56:16Speaker 1: like thirteen X block series is behind this, got another handful.
- 56:20Speaker 1: We're doing it first drop off at Hopkins at the
- 56:22Speaker 1: end of this month. They're just coming up. Can now
- 56:24Speaker 1: Can people donate consoles? Also? Do you want old consoles?
- 56:28Speaker 1: Do you want new ones? Like? What is the criteria
- 56:31Speaker 1: for donations? So a lot of times in the hospitals
- 56:36Speaker 1: they already have older consoles and our mission is to
- 56:38Speaker 1: kind of upgrade what they have so that a lot
- 56:41Speaker 1: of the patients can be playing, you know, what their
- 56:43Speaker 1: friends are playing, or the latest games and you know,
- 56:45Speaker 1: not feel like they're missing out. So we haven't gotten
- 56:49Speaker 1: any donations in the form of consoles, but if we
- 56:53Speaker 1: were to get there, as we would prefer if they
- 56:55Speaker 1: were current chat consoles. Yeah right, all right, Well, I'm
- 56:58Speaker 1: gonna pull some strings and see if I can get
- 56:59Speaker 1: some That would be really dope connections. That would be
- 57:05Speaker 1: really dope. If anybody from Xbox or Ubi Soft. We
- 57:08Speaker 1: know we got some Ubi Soft fans out there and
- 57:11Speaker 1: friends and stuff like that. Anybody who listens to this
- 57:14Speaker 1: podcast and it's what's any friend, you got to reach
- 57:18Speaker 1: out to him. I have to look it up and
- 57:21Speaker 1: I will also reach out he listens. But you see,
- 57:25Speaker 1: we need the motherload for this. Listen to this. How
- 57:27Speaker 1: noble and beautiful this charity is sending these these gentlemen
- 57:31Speaker 1: the motherload. We need to we need to hook We
- 57:34Speaker 1: need to hook it up. Man. And my sister in
- 57:36Speaker 1: law works at Xbox, and I'm going to be pulling
- 57:39Speaker 1: some strings and see what I can do for you guys.
- 57:41Speaker 1: That would be absolutely incredible And I can't promise anything,
- 57:44Speaker 1: but I have some pull with her. She likes me. Okay,
- 57:48Speaker 1: do you guys any questions for us yeah. So I
- 57:53Speaker 1: had a serious question and then a little bit of
- 57:56Speaker 1: a lighthearted question for you guys. Um. Yeah, So, being
- 57:59Speaker 1: that we work with cancer patients, thought it would just
- 58:02Speaker 1: be appropriate to ask, how how has you a loved
- 58:06Speaker 1: one's life been affected by cancer? My dad I lost
- 58:10Speaker 1: my father to I mean my mother beat cancer. My
- 58:14Speaker 1: father did not. He had it in a place called
- 58:17Speaker 1: the Billiary tube, and it was horrible and we had
- 58:23Speaker 1: the best doctors, and granted he was eighty four, so
- 58:27Speaker 1: hard for an eighty four year old man. He fought
- 58:30Speaker 1: as hard as he could, but no matter what he did.
- 58:33Speaker 1: The horrible thing about cancer for my father was he
- 58:36Speaker 1: even though my dad was eighty four and Donald can
- 58:38Speaker 1: tell him, he had the mind of a fifty five
- 58:41Speaker 1: year old, you know, he was nothing was wrong with
- 58:43Speaker 1: his brain at all. He was one hundred percent. But
- 58:46Speaker 1: his body was like quitting on him because it was
- 58:49Speaker 1: fighting as hard as it could an eighty four year
- 58:51Speaker 1: old body against cancer, and the cancer just took him down.
- 58:56Speaker 1: And that's what's so hard. It's one thing when a
- 58:58Speaker 1: when a senior is at an age where you go, okay,
- 59:00Speaker 1: they're losing some of their mental faculties and now their
- 59:02Speaker 1: body's going and they've had a good life. But it
- 59:05Speaker 1: was extra hard for me because my father was it's
- 59:08Speaker 1: like he was so disappointed in his body, like come on, body.
- 59:12Speaker 1: It's like it's not to bring it round of the
- 59:14Speaker 1: scrubs joke, but it's kind of like the head and
- 59:16Speaker 1: the body thing where it's like, come on, body, fight harder,
- 59:19Speaker 1: fight harder, because my brain is still one hundred percent here.
- 59:23Speaker 1: So that's that's that's about as close in the heart
- 59:25Speaker 1: as it as it as it gets watching that, watching
- 59:28Speaker 1: the demise of my father to to to Billiary Billiary cancer. Yeah,
- 59:34Speaker 1: my aunt had breast cancer and she beat it one
- 59:37Speaker 1: time and then it came back again and she just
- 59:41Speaker 1: didn't have the energy to fight it and it took
- 59:46Speaker 1: her and it took her really fast too, um, and
- 59:49Speaker 1: she hit it for a little bit because she didn't
- 59:53Speaker 1: you know, I just didn't want to go through chemo again.
- 59:56Speaker 1: You said your aunt, right, my aunt? Oh sorry, I
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: didn't want anyone misunderstanding and say your mom. Your mom
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: is My mom is alive. She's been on the show,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: as a matter of fact, yes, but her sister. As
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: a matter of fact, I've yet to experience losing a parent,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: but I have friends and family members who have and
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: it's you know, it is it. I I've never hurt
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: more for people than when that happens, you know. I
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: also imagine what the world these guys are are are
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: working in with children. I mean, that's where it gets
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: like I can't I you know, I pray every night.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: I literally pray all the time. Uh, not just at night,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: sometimes when I'm driving in my car, sometimes when I'm
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: in my shower, you know. Uh, I love my children
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: so much, and I you know, I pray for their health,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: you know. And um and so what you guys are
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: doing is amazing, by the way, this is just this
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: is just an awesome cause, man, like, I don't know,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I don't know how you came up with it, but
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: good on you men. Like yeah, and it seems like
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you have money raise. The more money you raise, you'll
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: be able to expand to more and more hospitals, hospitals
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: these like the This is a dumb question, but are
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: these um like in the communal room for the children
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: or are they in their own private rooms? Yeah, so
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: we actually got a PlayStation five for their community room
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: for them to share because you know, PS five's are
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: really really hard to get. But you got these kids fighting.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: They're like, I'm exactly. But the xboxes we were able
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: to actually get a bunch of. So we're gonna be
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: putting one of those in each of the patient rooms.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: That's very awesome. See, all right, I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: make a I'm gonna make a call about xboxes. See
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: what I can do. Um Now, what's your next question?
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: We'll have it be a little more chipper for the
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: love for sure. What is your favorite easy recipe to cook?
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I have a bunch of them. Zach doesn't really cook, Zach,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Zach couldn't. Yeah, that's about it for Zach. That's not true.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: You know what I do. I make a fucking killer
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Phoebe and J grew up on p's. I love a
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: poeb and J. I'm more a poban honey kind of guy.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: You know, I'm thank you. Yeah, good, big thumbs up
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: for me. I don't really cook much. I used to,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: you know, when I was first out of college and
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: totally broke. I had a few little go toos, but
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: none of them. You know, nothing more complicated than heating
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: up a pasta sauce and making boiling pasta. I don't.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I don't really cook at all, much to my girlfriend's chagrin.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: She she's an amazing chef and keeps trying to get
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: me into it, and I'm like, you're killing it on
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: your own. I don't want to. And I've spoken about
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: on the podcast I took over. I am. I am
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: the best kitchen cleaner. I challenge any person who's in
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: a relationship who's the cleaning side of things to a content.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: I'll make that. Well, respect for that. Pulling your weight listen,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: well you pull that weight. Listen. I line up all
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: my sponges, all my favorite tools, because I know which
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: one's gonna be best for which pan. Oh my gosh, Donald,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: what's your quick recipe? Donald actually cooks. You don't have
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: a quick I don't. I can make fried chicken. That's
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: probably a quick recipe. Everything is a production once you
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: when you like to cook, it doesn't matter. Man. You're like,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you know what, it might be a quick recipe, but
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna make it so it's an easy, quick recipe.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: So everything is separated in its rightful cups and measurements.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: You know what I mean, And you know you put
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: it together. There ain't no easy recipe for me. I
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: don't know much. I've been watching so much great British
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: bake off to any of you watch the hell yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: it's such amazing. I love it. It's like a hug.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: It's it's just so we we want we watch it
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: at night late, when you watch something just peaceful to
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: calm down to. It's just it's just so I don't know,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: wholesome and fun to watch, even if you haven't gotten
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: into it, get into it. It's just it's it's these people,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: these people in the UK who are who are just home.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: They're not professionals, just amateurs, but they're phenomenal and uh,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: it's really fun. And that's one thing about cooking, like
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: once you get into it, you can get really really,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: really really good at it. I mean. And then there's
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: some people who just have a gift and those are
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: the ones that go on to become great chefs and
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: stuff like that. But like I saw this movie Julia
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: and Julia whatever that shit was with Meryl Streep and
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Amy Adams. I can't get I watched it like four
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: or five times. It's so delicious to watch, dude, Like
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: just watching it as like it's the weirdest cast. Like
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I can't get him to watch anything outside the Marvel
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Star Wars universe. And he's like, I watched five times yea,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: yeah man, And I tried to, like literally, that's how
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I learned how to you know, toast bread in a pan,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you know what I mean? The premises that the woman
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Amy Adams is trying to cook all of the recipes,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: but I bought that book. You can't do it. It's hard,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: that's just impossible. Man. I was like, I was like,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: I'll start with the easy one. That ain't It's time
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: for Twitch's favorite segment, Tonald, It's time to fix your
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: the digital version. Okay, how can we fix your guy's life?
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: If it's if, I mean, we'll do anything for you gentlemen. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: So he was like, my balls, you always have to
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: come back to pens Stop talking about your willing help
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: the cause. If you'll help the cause, I'll do I'll
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: do penis play, but I prefer I had one as
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: part of my job. I'm an oncology nurse. Um. This
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: kind of thing has come up a lot. Sometimes it's
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: difficult to kind of gauge how to approach someone who's grieving,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: you know, whether it's a family member who's sick and
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: perhaps dying, or a person I was just told they
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: have cancer and they're grieving the loss of their life
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: before cancer. From your experiences with grief and loss, how
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: would you have liked to be approached, supported, or possibly
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: even left alone? How should we go about supporting grieving
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: people in the future. Wow, you're I don't give me
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: goose bumps on my thighs. Um, probably I got goosebumps
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: between knees and and and waste. Yes, that's good. Don't
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: don't criticize where the No, I I was asking how
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: far up it went? This is where we make. This
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: is how I make. This is that's how I. When
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: I'm making a film, we always we joke around on
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: the droom. We're like, all right, that just gave me goosebumps.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: That was like a shoulder to elbow. Um, that was
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: on my bucket list. Give you goose bumps. I think
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: they made different things. No, but when you've watched I
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: feel like, like in the example I'm giving, when you've
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: watched the film nine hundred times and you're working on
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: and you're tweaking it, and you're trying out different music,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: or you're trying out a different cut and some little
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: bit of magic happens and you change something and all
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: of a sudden you get goosebumps down your arm. It's like, okay,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: that's obviously working, you know. Or you're trying out a
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: new song, you know, and all the old song was fine,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: but it didn't give you goosebumps. You're you know, you're
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: trying to give the audience goosebumps. So if you get
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: them for yourself, just like if you laugh at a
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: joke somebody else's. People that have that you, people that
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: have your sense of humor are gonna laugh at the joke.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Sure yeah, um um. I think the space is important
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: and really reading the room whether the person wants you
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: there or gone. The other thing is I think I
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: would have some just gentle things locked and loaded that
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: people have found meaningful before. It could be a phrase
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: or I'm just I'm just gonna pull a bad example
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: out of the hat, like the phrase this two shall pass.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: If you had some of those that were simple but effective.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: And also I think getting related. People really feel heard
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: and seen when you say even if you're their nerves.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I lost such and such, and I've been there and
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: it's really hard, and I'm here for you and I
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: know how hard it is. But this two shall pass.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: And just know that every day gets a little bit easier,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: and you know, things like that, I think, getting related
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: and sharing personal stories and but but most importantly, first
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: and foremost, I would say reading the room, because there
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: are times when I was in this situation with the
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: grief that I've had to battle, where You're like, I
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: don't want to talk to anybody. I don't want I
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: know you, I know you mean well, but I don't.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I don't want it. Yeah, I don't know, man, I don't.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest with you. That's a very difficult question.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I don't know how anybody wants to be told great
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: I mean, I wants to be told bad news. Um.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: I know it's a part of life and eventually everybody
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: has to face it, face the music. But I don't
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: know how I want to be told. There is no
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: I don't think there is a there is a gentle
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: way to find out. I don't think he's talking about
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: specifically telling people. He's saying, if I'm not wrong, he's
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: talking about he's after they've been told and they're clearly upset.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Is there? How do you? How do you how do
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: you navigate, um, not being aloof and but also not
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: being in someone's face? You know, I definitely think you
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: should read the room. That's for damn sure. It's got
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: to be personal to that your relationship with the person, right,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: I mean, can I share a story? Yeah? I mean
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I lost my dad a COVID a year ago, right,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: and the on the other side of it the most
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: The word annoying is probably the wrong word, but what
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: was annoying to me is people were posting as if
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: like they lost, and people were commenting on their status,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Oh I'm sorry for a loss. I'm like, you're a loss,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Like you know, the people like started telling people and
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: then I got bombarded. It's like you didn't have the
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: right to tell those people. Yeah, you know what I mean,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: So don't do that. I can say what not to do? Yeah, yeah, definitely.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: But do you remember something that someone said? Actually, do
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: you like? Do you guys have see The Good Place
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: show on Netflix? I've seen a lot of it, not all,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: but I've seen a lot. Okay, I mean, I'm gonna
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: know spoilers, but there's a quote at the end the
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna share. It's really awesome quote. It's a Buddhist quote.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: He goes, picture a wave. You know, you can see it,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: you can measure it, and when it hits the shore,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: it's gone. But the water is still there, the wave
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: just a different way for it to be for a
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: little while. That was a really beautiful quote on death
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: to me. Yeah, I like that. Yeah, I mean I
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: think I would. Um, I think you know, if you
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: have some things that are meaningful to you in the
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: spirit of what of what Brandon just said that when
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: the person does want to engage, you've got like five
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: different things locked and loaded, like here's something that that
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: that I read once that that's really meaningful to me.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: And or maybe the person doesn't want to talk, but
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: you know that they like you, and you could slip
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: that to them on a piece of paper like a quote. Um.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: You know, there's different there's varying ways to do it.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Someone might want to really engage with you and sit
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: there and talk with you. Someone might be like you
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: know what might be more like, you know, Andrew, we
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: love you, You've been so sweet, but we just want
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: to be left alone. That kind of person. You could
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: slip a little piece of paper too and say, hey,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: here's a quote that's meaningful to me. I think that
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: would be great. You know. What my experience is with
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: U with nurses was that some were just outstanding and
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: just went so far out of their way and it
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: made such a difference. And it seems to me, especially
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: when you consider the philanthropy work you guys are doing,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: that you're those type of people. So I don't know
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: if we fixed anything, but oh, that was really helpful.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: I really appreciate vice. Yeah, there's a great you know,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: it's when you stumble across a great quote that just
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: lands with you, you know, like like like you know,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: you know, you know, Brandon just said one for him,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: but like even a friend of mine told me, you know,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: in the editing room and direct your friend of mine
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: gave me a quote about cutting and I put it
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: up on the whiteboard because I obviously have big white
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: boards in my editing room because I'm mister whiteboard, and
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: it really helped me. It's like it's a topic that
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: told obviously told me nothing to do with grief, but
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: a topic that I've always wrestled with and he sent
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: me this quote that was like Eureka, that quote lands
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: with me. I understand that, you know, and we all
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: have that for different things. So I'm sure there's there's
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: there's um plenty of infinite number of those for people grieving. Yeah, um, Donald,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: we need to switch back to commed. He says something funny.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Shit dick balls the tape kill you motherfucker. All right,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: that's the show. We did it. These guys are great.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Remind people how they find you on Twitch? Go again.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Sure it's twitch dot tv, slash chemotherapy that's t e
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: a m O Therapy or Chemotherapy gaming dot com. And
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: Brandon is yours the same or different? Ye? We share
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: the channel. And those are the only two people on
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: the program right now who who you use Twitch? So, um,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: those are those are the only Twitchers we know. They're
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: the only twitches we've ever met. To be honest with you,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: I've never been on Twitch, so I don't know anything
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: about it. I'll only to visit an old friend of
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: mine and see what his Twitch was like, and um,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: he was just eating. So I realized, yes, Um, what
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: percentage of twitches gaming and what percentage is other things.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: That's a great question. Oh my god, damn, do you
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: know Andrew? He's been shunned. Do you know how the
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Amish shunned people? He's shame. I have no idea at
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: people do like just chatting streams and and hot tub streams.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: That's not about the hot tubs. We should do a
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: hot tub twitch stream. You guys could totally do a
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: hotp twitch stream which the drinking money for charity for
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: buying consoles for the kids. You can't tell me that
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: wouldn't be wildly successful. I gotta lose some weight first.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: But yeah, I'm doing me too. I'm trying to lose
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: a couple of LP's, Joel, do you know what does
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: it say? Now? I'm only getting like gender breakdowns and
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: time spent on breakdowns. I only hear about the gaming
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: really and and and cooking. I've been hearing about cooking.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Can you be nude on Twitch? No? Not no. But
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: in a body of water. You can be in a
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: bathing sea. And that's why the people but you have
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: to be in a bathing body of water. Yeah, some
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: people like literally put like a little mini pool on
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: their room and standing sitting that and then they're allowed
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: to be in a bikinis. I have a question. You're
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: allowed to be in a bikini if you're standing in water,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: if you're in a pool, Yes, you go for yours.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: I just think it's so funny the people get around.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: If there's somebody going, how do I get around the
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Twitch rules? So I think I need my boy. What
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: do they do in the bikini once they're on? They
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: they they jiggle and they get views. You know. I
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: don't know, but they can't be They can't go into
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: like only fans territory. They have to right right right,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: they have to keep it holy. Do they play video
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: games sometimes? I don't think people would know if they
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: were a lot of times they play like just dance.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Oh that I can't wait to watch. Are you allowed
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: to go on? You're allowing on Twitch? Remember this? Yeah
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: you can go on. I'm gonna go watch someone do
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: a dance video game in their bikini and their mini pool.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Oh boy one following If it works, it works. But
