- 0:00Speaker 1: WKBN.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Well, Heidi Ho, it's the middle of June already. Welcome
- 0:04Speaker 2: to Monday, June 15th. What a pleasant day it is today.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Just perfect. I mean, it is just terrific outside. It's
- 0:12Speaker 2: 66 degrees. I mean, this is just comfortable weather. I
- 0:16Speaker 2: know there's people that I'm so glad that it's 66.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Just so comfortable out there. Anyway, nice to be with
- 0:24Speaker 2: you here on NewsRadio 570 WKBN. Be with you right
- 0:27Speaker 2: up until the Rockport Wealth Truth in Investing program tonight.
- 0:31Speaker 2: At 6, so between 3 and 6, we conversate. As always, 330-729-9977, 330-729-9977.
- 0:40Speaker 2: We'll get you through to us on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Let's see, from the email, it says, I can't wait
- 0:48Speaker 2: to hear you talk about how amazing the UFC event was.
- 0:52Speaker 2: All right, I can't talk about it because I didn't
- 0:57Speaker 2: watch it. Now, I did see a snippet when the
- 1:01Speaker 2: guy insulted Michelle Obama, so I can't talk about how
- 1:06Speaker 2: amazing the UFC event was because I didn't watch it.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Didn't watch it. Didn't have an interest in it.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I saw one clip where one of the wrestlers, or
- 1:16Speaker 2: one of the fighters, I should say, insulted the former
- 1:18Speaker 2: First Lady, and I didn't think that was appropriate, but
- 1:23Speaker 2: that's my thoughts.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I mean, what are yours? Run it up the flagpole.
- 1:26Speaker 1: See if anybody salutes. You're on the air. Ted the Conservative.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Ronald, how are you doing today?
- 1:32Speaker 1: Well, I'm doing well, Ted the Conservative. So what do
- 1:35Speaker 1: you make of my..
- 1:36Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 1:37Speaker 3: So much to talk about. I don't know if we
- 1:39Speaker 3: have enough time.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Well, you're talking.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I'm listening to NewsRadio 570. Oh, that's the jingle.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Never mind.
- 1:45Speaker 4: That's okay.
- 1:46Speaker 3: We'll get Baba Ganesha on later to sing it for you.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I got to..
- 1:50Speaker 4: First things first.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Did J.J. drop off the teeth?
- 1:56Speaker 1: Did he do what?
- 1:59Speaker 3: J.J. made a wager last week. He said if this
- 2:01Speaker 3: thing gets done by Sunday, you had to buy him
- 2:04Speaker 3: some candy bars, and he was going to drop off
- 2:06Speaker 3: some Milo's tea.
- 2:09Speaker 1: But it's not a done deal. It's not signed yet.
- 2:12Speaker 3: It has been signed digitally. It's just been on the
- 2:16Speaker 3: news again that they signed it with a digital signature.
- 2:19Speaker 3: And they're meeting for a, what would you call it,
- 2:23Speaker 3: a picture option. to say, look what we did.
- 2:29Speaker 2: The last thing I happened to read was Trump didn't
- 2:32Speaker 2: even say if Trump was going to attend.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Trump's not attending.
- 2:36Speaker 3: It's just a photo op they're doing. The deal's been signed.
- 2:39Speaker 3: It's even been advertised on Fox News as of just
- 2:41Speaker 3: two minutes ago, running a banner at the bottom of
- 2:44Speaker 3: the screen that the deal's been signed. They had signed
- 2:47Speaker 3: it digitally. Digitally, if that's the word. They did a
- 2:50Speaker 3: digital signature on it. And they're basically having a big
- 2:53Speaker 3: photo op and a big get-together to say, look what
- 2:55Speaker 3: we did.
- 2:57Speaker 1: So what do you make of it? Well, don't do.
- 3:01Speaker 3: That, because I do want to talk about MMA and
- 3:03Speaker 3: other things.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Listen, we will, but I mean, I haven't heard any
- 3:08Speaker 1: of the details of it.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Well, I haven't either. However, we know what the goal
- 3:14Speaker 3: of Donald Trump was, and that was that they would
- 3:17Speaker 3: never have a nuclear deal, and they know that going in.
- 3:21Speaker 3: You know, I had the last listening to our buddy
- 3:25Speaker 3: Fifth Avenue last week, He was very upset about all this. And,
- 3:30Speaker 3: you know, the funny thing is, they keep talking about
- 3:32Speaker 3: Obama's JCPOA deal with Iran. And all that did was
- 3:38Speaker 3: delay the inevitable. It still gave them a pathway to
- 3:42Speaker 3: having a nuclear program. It didn't stop them. It slowed
- 3:45Speaker 3: them down. Donald Trump's agreement does not allow them to
- 3:50Speaker 3: keep any of their enriched material. We've destroyed their factories.
- 3:53Speaker 3: We've destroyed them From a military standpoint. So I think
- 3:59Speaker 3: the objectives have been met. Now, obviously, they need to
- 4:02Speaker 3: get down to negotiating how they're going to get this stuff.
- 4:05Speaker 5: Out of there.
- 4:05Speaker 3: That's all that's left, really.
- 4:10Speaker 4: You're talking about trying to get it out of where
- 4:12Speaker 4: the bunker.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Buster went, correct?
- 4:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Why do you have to dig down and get it out?
- 4:24Speaker 1: Why don't you just leave it there? I mean, it's
- 4:26Speaker 1: buried in a..
- 4:26Speaker 3: That's a good question. I don't know. I don't have
- 4:28Speaker 3: an answer, but that's a good idea.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I mean, so it seems to me... I mean, it
- 4:33Speaker 2: seems to me... I go back to my original statement.
- 4:36Speaker 2: It seems to me that the bunker buster actually worked. So,
- 4:39Speaker 2: I mean, so now what? Now, supposedly, you've got to
- 4:42Speaker 2: dig through this rubble, which would be just a massive
- 4:48Speaker 2: expense and chore to get down in there, to get
- 4:51Speaker 2: the dust... I mean, that seems ridiculous to me.
- 4:56Speaker 4: You know, you could be right, Ron.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I'm not saying you're not wrong.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I would like to know.
- 5:00Speaker 3: The whole idea of the second excursion was because they
- 5:04Speaker 3: saw activity through satellite images that they were trying to
- 5:08Speaker 3: put the pieces together after that first bombing. And they
- 5:11Speaker 3: went in and made sure that they could never put
- 5:12Speaker 3: the pieces together. I want to deal with reality. We
- 5:16Speaker 3: know that there's, I've seen on Fox News, the deal's
- 5:19Speaker 3: been signed. They're going to have a little photo op.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Donald Trump has said today, I heard him say it,
- 5:24Speaker 3: that the G7, he will not be there signing because
- 5:27Speaker 3: it's basically just a photo op.
- 5:29Speaker 4: It's done.
- 5:31Speaker 3: I remember when this excursion started. And You had me
- 5:36Speaker 3: and a guy.
- 5:36Speaker 1: From Florida on. But hang on a second. Hang on
- 5:40Speaker 1: a second before you go celebrating. Let's hear what the..
- 5:43Speaker 3: I'm not celebrating. I'm just saying it's going how I
- 5:45Speaker 3: thought it was.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Okay, just... No celebration.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Make sure to be clear. There's no celebration.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Right.
- 5:50Speaker 4: The job's not done.
- 5:51Speaker 5: Right.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Let's see what..
- 5:52Speaker 3: Things are going just how I thought they were.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Let's see what the details of the deal are. I
- 5:57Speaker 2: was listening to..
- 5:58Speaker 1: Who was commenting?
- 5:59Speaker 2: Was it Obama or somebody that was making a comment
- 6:03Speaker 2: that says... that he doesn't believe that the deal that
- 6:07Speaker 2: will be reached will be any different than the deal
- 6:10Speaker 2: that was there initially and maybe not as good. So
- 6:15Speaker 2: I'll be curious to see who's right or who's wrong
- 6:17Speaker 2: on this.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I don't know what's any good about the Obama deal
- 6:21Speaker 3: because he still gave them a pass to a nuclear program.
- 6:23Speaker 3: They didn't shut down their program. They made them delay
- 6:27Speaker 3: it by 10 years. That's why we have all this
- 6:29Speaker 3: enriched and rich.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Right.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I mean, it's hard for me to say if this
- 6:32Speaker 2: is good or bad because all the details that you
- 6:35Speaker 2: hear are all speculation.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Well, they're going to get their whatever.
- 6:38Speaker 2: $ 24 billion back at a certain point in time once
- 6:43Speaker 2: all of this stuff is verified. Who knows if that's
- 6:47Speaker 2: accurate or not, some of the details that you hear.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Just like your program will listen for weeks, if not months,
- 6:55Speaker 3: Everyone who knew nothing about this situation, including you and I,
- 6:59Speaker 3: thought they knew everything. All I did was make an
- 7:02Speaker 3: educated guess, knowing the parties involved and the military power
- 7:07Speaker 3: being used, that it would end up just how it's
- 7:10Speaker 3: ending up. We're not going to see oil at $ 200
- 7:14Speaker 3: a barrel. It's down to, what, a little over $ 70
- 7:16Speaker 3: a barrel. Stock market's soaring again. Iran will not have
- 7:21Speaker 3: a nuclear weapon, unlike the JCPOA deal with Obama. It's
- 7:25Speaker 3: going just how I thought it would. Do you think
- 7:28Speaker 3: Trump is going to do this, state a very clear objective? Now,
- 7:35Speaker 3: some of this stuff is irrelevant, but the big objective
- 7:38Speaker 3: was no nuclear weapon. He feels comfortable. He's got a
- 7:46Speaker 3: plan in place for that. They signed off on it,
- 7:49Speaker 3: and we'll see what happens. Like you said, In my opinion,
- 7:53Speaker 3: I think they will never stop trying to acquire a
- 7:55Speaker 3: nuclear weapon. But we're not giving them a path to
- 7:58Speaker 3: do it, unlike Obama. Obama just said, hey, let's slow
- 8:01Speaker 3: this down for 10 years.
- 8:03Speaker 4: That's a very total.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Let's slow it down for 10 years. Didn't stop him.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Trump has made it very clear. You cannot have a weapon,
- 8:13Speaker 3: and I'm going to stop you from trying to make one,
- 8:15Speaker 3: and he did. Two different things. Now, the money, everyone's
- 8:19Speaker 3: going to say, oh, he's sending them money. He said
- 8:21Speaker 3: he wouldn't send them money. We're not sending them money.
- 8:24Speaker 3: When this excursion started in the Strait of America, as
- 8:29Speaker 3: part of the stranglehold, in addition to our military, we
- 8:33Speaker 3: froze all their assets. So just as we're going to
- 8:37Speaker 3: open the Strait of America, we're going to allow them
- 8:39Speaker 3: to use their ports, we're going to unfreeze their assets.
- 8:42Speaker 3: We're not giving them money. We're not doing anything to
- 8:44Speaker 3: benefit them. We're not giving them American tax dollars. And
- 8:48Speaker 3: when Obama sent them money, it's because we had that
- 8:51Speaker 3: money in our possession because we basically took it from them.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I am somewhat concerned that Iran's view of the agreement
- 8:59Speaker 2: seems different than what the American negotiating team is claiming.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Under our law, any nuclear deal with Iran will be
- 9:04Speaker 2: sent to Congress for review. Lindsey Graham, I'm just reading
- 9:07Speaker 2: his statement.
- 9:08Speaker 1: That's all.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Right, right, right. And I understand that Congress has got
- 9:13Speaker 3: to do something with approval. I just saw that on
- 9:16Speaker 3: Fox News, too. So I don't know. You and I
- 9:20Speaker 3: don't know what's going to happen. No one does. But
- 9:23Speaker 3: it's going exactly how I thought it would go.
- 9:27Speaker 5: How's that?
- 9:31Speaker 1: As I say, time..
- 9:32Speaker 3: We're not going to see 9% inflation, as we did
- 9:35Speaker 3: with Joe Biden. We're not going to see oil prices,
- 9:38Speaker 3: as some said, up to $ 200 a barrel. I mean,
- 9:42Speaker 3: that's happening. Let's deal with facts. Let's deal with reality.
- 9:46Speaker 3: We know there's only so much we know, but that's
- 9:48Speaker 3: what we know to be factual. Tomorrow there may change.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I think too often the people that know the least
- 9:54Speaker 3: think they know the most. They have opinions that are like,
- 9:57Speaker 3: you know what, everyone has.
- 9:58Speaker 5: One.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Well, the stock market is way up today.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I think it's going well.
- 10:03Speaker 2: The Dow is up, what, 619. S & P is
- 10:05Speaker 2: up 131. NASDAQ is up 756. And the NASDAQ 100
- 10:08Speaker 2: is up 901. The Russell is up 2400. So everything
- 10:19Speaker 2: on the market is way up.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Let's see.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Dow jumped 600 points to a record with rally gaining
- 10:26Speaker 2: steam after Trump signs Iran deal memorandum.
- 10:29Speaker 3: It has been signed, as I told you.
- 10:33Speaker 1: SpaceX IP.
- 10:33Speaker 3: JJ, if you're listening, Ron Veer till what, 6, 6.30, whatever, 7?
- 10:38Speaker 3: You got a little bit of time to get that
- 10:39Speaker 3: going on Milo's CF there.
- 10:42Speaker 2: SpaceX IPO raises total of $ 85. 7 billion as underwriters exercise
- 10:49Speaker 2: green shoe over allotment option, whatever that is.
- 10:55Speaker 3: It's funny, Ron, how all these economic geniuses that we've
- 11:00Speaker 3: heard so much about in the last couple months appear
- 11:04Speaker 3: to be wrong again. All these experts. Remember when they
- 11:06Speaker 3: told us that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation?
- 11:10Speaker 5: Yes.
- 11:11Speaker 3: I've got to be honest, I think he fell into
- 11:13Speaker 3: some of that trap again.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Oh, I never fell in a trap. Not the Russian part,
- 11:18Speaker 1: but the economic..
- 11:20Speaker 2: Oh, make no mistake. Let me give you my assessment
- 11:24Speaker 2: of it because I listened to yours. My assessment is
- 11:29Speaker 2: Trump had to reach an agreement. I'm curious what the
- 11:32Speaker 2: details of this agreement are. And I'm fine with whatever
- 11:35Speaker 2: the details are because I want this thing to be over.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I mean, the following questions that I would want to know,
- 11:41Speaker 2: will they have a tariff to go through the strait?
- 11:44Speaker 2: That's just... a question off the bat. Uh, number two, when,
- 11:50Speaker 2: when does some money get released back to them? Um,
- 11:54Speaker 2: I would just would like to see the details of
- 11:58Speaker 2: it just to see what it's all about. I would,
- 12:02Speaker 2: I would say this to you. I believe Trump's back
- 12:04Speaker 2: was up against the wall. Uh, I do have a
- 12:07Speaker 2: little bit different take than you. I think his back
- 12:09Speaker 2: was up against the wall and time was not on
- 12:11Speaker 2: his side. He had, he had to reach an agreement, uh,
- 12:17Speaker 2: because of where we are as far as oil supply
- 12:20Speaker 2: and the economy and inflation. I think his back is
- 12:23Speaker 2: very much up against the wall. When you say about
- 12:27Speaker 2: his agenda, remember when Trump said there's nothing acceptable? The
- 12:32Speaker 2: agenda kept changing, but their unconditional surrender, I remember him
- 12:35Speaker 2: saying that, their unconditional surrender. Well, there hasn't really been
- 12:39Speaker 2: an unconditional surrender in that sense.
- 12:43Speaker 4: So..
- 12:44Speaker 1: It's hard for me to be positive.
- 12:46Speaker 3: A lot of that un-surrender, that's just who he is
- 12:50Speaker 3: trying to negotiate.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Okay, so then we can say, until we know what
- 12:55Speaker 2: the agreement is, we can't use the excuse, well, that's
- 12:58Speaker 2: just how he negotiates. All I'm saying to you is...
- 13:01Speaker 2: We have an agreement. Right, I want to know what
- 13:05Speaker 2: the agreement is. Believe me when I tell you.
- 13:07Speaker 4: I don't know what else we know other than that.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Listen, I am pleased that this thing is..
- 13:13Speaker 2: Potentially is over and we can move on, that the
- 13:16Speaker 2: strait is open, that we can get back to business
- 13:19Speaker 2: as usual. I mean, I'm very pleased if that materializes.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And I think, and it seems to me it's going
- 13:30Speaker 2: in that direction. Israel can always screw this up, but
- 13:34Speaker 2: we can go, well, we'll see.
- 13:37Speaker 3: That's another part of it. Because I think, now we
- 13:42Speaker 3: may disagree on this one, I don't understand all of
- 13:47Speaker 3: this Israel bullying. I'll call it that. Everyone's beating up
- 13:50Speaker 3: on Israel. And let me explain myself before you respond.
- 13:55Speaker 3: So Trump has been blasting Israel every time they respond
- 14:00Speaker 3: to Hezbollah. Now, Hezbollah is bombing Israel at the request
- 14:06Speaker 3: of the IRG. So on one hand, you've got these people...
- 14:12Speaker 3: in Iran trying to negotiate a peace deal. And on
- 14:16Speaker 3: the other hand, you've got these people in Iran telling
- 14:18Speaker 3: Hezbollah to keep bombing Israel. And we expect Israel to
- 14:22Speaker 3: just sit there because Donald Trump told them to sit
- 14:26Speaker 3: there and not respond. So I would ask you this.
- 14:29Speaker 3: What if we were being bombed through Russian proxies from Cuba?
- 14:36Speaker 4: Okay?
- 14:37Speaker 1: And Stand by. Stand by. A few more minutes with
- 14:41Speaker 1: Ted the Conservative.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Rich, your pharmacist coming up and more right after this.
- 14:46Speaker 1: 570 WKBN.
- 14:48Speaker 2: All right, Ron. Verb 325 in the afternoon. So all
- 14:51Speaker 2: I'm saying is let's wait. How do I say this?
- 14:55Speaker 2: I would like this thing to be over, period, and
- 15:00Speaker 2: ended and focus on the economy. oil prices, and all
- 15:06Speaker 2: of this other stuff. I hope everything works out to
- 15:09Speaker 2: America's best interest and to Trump's best interest, because that's
- 15:12Speaker 2: my best interest.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So it's hard.
- 15:16Speaker 2: For me to say one way or the other until
- 15:18Speaker 2: I would know all the details of what has taken place.
- 15:24Speaker 3: I give you an eye, Captain, but I'll add, it's
- 15:28Speaker 3: going in the right direction, isn't it?
- 15:30Speaker 1: It appears to be at this point in time. It
- 15:33Speaker 1: appears to be.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Now, Israel, real quick, and then you ran some up
- 15:37Speaker 3: the flagpole. I've got to tell you.
- 15:39Speaker 1: And it's got to go.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Imagine we're taking incoming fire from Iranian proxies in Cuba.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Bombs are coming, hitting in Florida.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I don't want to do hypotheticals.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Listen, I think I don't want to get into that
- 15:53Speaker 2: because Trump has said to Trump has said to Israel himself,
- 15:56Speaker 2: you guys are going to screw this up if you
- 15:57Speaker 2: don't knock it off. So is there a wedge now
- 16:01Speaker 2: between Trump and Netanyahu?
- 16:03Speaker 1: I don't know the answer to that either.
- 16:04Speaker 3: I think Trump is wrong telling Israel not to do that.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Well, apparently that's part of reaching the agreements. I mean,
- 16:11Speaker 2: here's my philosophy. Let Israel fight its situation. America should
- 16:17Speaker 2: not be involved in it in any way.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Agreed completely.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Period. I'm giving you too many eyes.
- 16:24Speaker 2: No, I mean, listen. Here's my question. Will the Strait
- 16:28Speaker 2: be opened up just as it was before this event happened?
- 16:31Speaker 2: Will there be tolls? What conditions are there for them
- 16:35Speaker 2: getting their money back? And it's just confusing right now
- 16:38Speaker 2: because there's two different sides to this story that are
- 16:41Speaker 2: coming out. And I understand, and I don't disagree with
- 16:45Speaker 2: Congress and Schumer, actually, that say, what are the details
- 16:48Speaker 2: of this agreement? Because you do have people in positions
- 16:51Speaker 2: of power saying, and they have every right to know, too,
- 16:54Speaker 2: what is this deal? Trump was asked that today.
- 16:57Speaker 3: And he thinks that by Friday all the documents should
- 17:00Speaker 3: be released to the public.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Well, good, because, I mean, it seems to me that..
- 17:04Speaker 3: I'm not hiding anything. That's why I said there's a lot..
- 17:06Speaker 2: I know, but it's hard to make it say one
- 17:09Speaker 2: way or the other if you don't know the details.
- 17:11Speaker 2: That's all I'm saying.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Well, we know that the deal's been signed.
- 17:15Speaker 2: And then I would go one step further. We've spent
- 17:19Speaker 2: enough time on it. I mean, until you have the details.
- 17:23Speaker 3: You wanted to run something up the flagpole last night.
- 17:26Speaker 3: You and I had mixed feelings. We were both against
- 17:29Speaker 3: it going in. I was wrong. That was the most
- 17:33Speaker 3: patriotic thing I've ever seen. And let me explain. Unlike
- 17:38Speaker 3: Biden and Obama, who had the gay pride events or
- 17:40Speaker 3: BLM events, and we saw transgender dancing with their genitals exposed,
- 17:46Speaker 3: what last night was about was honoring the men and
- 17:48Speaker 3: women in our military along with first responders. In between
- 17:52Speaker 3: all of the videos and displays of violence honoring all
- 17:59Speaker 3: of our former people who died serving our country. They
- 18:03Speaker 3: had some boxing match fighting, UFC fights in between. That's
- 18:07Speaker 3: how I took it. There were speeches from Reagan. There
- 18:10Speaker 3: were speeches from former presidents that were played. It was
- 18:12Speaker 3: just the most... Amazing thing I've seen. And I didn't
- 18:16Speaker 3: want to shut it off. But at midnight, I was
- 18:18Speaker 3: so tired. And I'm so glad I stayed up to
- 18:21Speaker 3: watch the last play.
- 18:22Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 18:23Speaker 2: News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Ron, 335, you're on the air.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Ron, good afternoon, sir.
- 18:32Speaker 1: It's Rich, a pharmacist, yes.
- 18:35Speaker 4: I pretty much agree with everything Ted said, to be
- 18:38Speaker 4: perfectly honest with you. This isn't a victory dance or
- 18:41Speaker 4: a victory lap or anything like that. I think... A
- 18:43Speaker 4: lot could still go wrong with this. I agree with
- 18:47Speaker 4: what he said about Israel. I don't understand why people
- 18:52Speaker 4: are mad at them when they're not the ones that
- 18:55Speaker 4: are getting, you know, they're not the aggressor there. Stop
- 19:00Speaker 4: and think, why is Iran so worried about Lebanon that's hundreds,
- 19:04Speaker 4: if not thousands of miles from its country? Why are
- 19:07Speaker 4: they worried about that? Why are they insisting that Israel
- 19:12Speaker 4: get out of Lebanon? That has nothing to do with Iran.
- 19:15Speaker 4: It's because that's their proxy. They've got their little, you know,
- 19:18Speaker 4: army over there that is very effective at lobbing missiles
- 19:23Speaker 4: into Israel, which no other country in the world would tolerate.
- 19:26Speaker 4: If Cuba was lobbing or Mexico was or Canada was
- 19:28Speaker 4: lobbing missiles into this country, we'd annihilate them. And no American, well,
- 19:34Speaker 4: I don't know, with the left anymore, you probably would
- 19:36Speaker 4: have Americans saying we shouldn't do it. but no real
- 19:39Speaker 4: americans would we would disagree with that decision but i
- 19:43Speaker 4: had a good look gives me pause is i was
- 19:46Speaker 4: just reading an article jd jd vance said uh... they've
- 19:50Speaker 4: agreed that they will not pursue a nuclear weapon. That's
- 19:53Speaker 4: a big difference from they're going to give up what
- 19:57Speaker 4: they have. Now, it also said that in the next
- 20:00Speaker 4: 24 to 48 hours, that's when the terms of the
- 20:02Speaker 4: deal will come out. So if they caved on getting...
- 20:07Speaker 4: what Trump refers to as the dust, the highly enriched uranium,
- 20:11Speaker 4: if they caved on that, that's a big concession on
- 20:15Speaker 4: our part. It's probably not in our interest. On the
- 20:20Speaker 4: other hand, I'm at the point now where once this
- 20:23Speaker 4: is over, bring everybody home. Let's just get out of
- 20:27Speaker 4: there and let those countries, in the future, if there's
- 20:30Speaker 4: anything going on, let them all figure it out amongst themselves.
- 20:32Speaker 4: I'm tired of being the world policeman. That includes Korea, Japan,
- 20:36Speaker 4: and especially Europe. If we learn nothing else from this
- 20:40Speaker 4: three-month endeavor that we've been in, we were shown very
- 20:45Speaker 4: explicitly who our friends are and who our friends aren't.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Because we don't really need the oil that comes over
- 20:53Speaker 4: from the Middle East. We don't import that much of
- 20:55Speaker 4: it from them. Well, you're right that we need oil
- 20:59Speaker 4: from other countries.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Mainly we get most of it from Canada. Yeah, exactly.
- 21:06Speaker 4: So we don't really need the oil over there. Who
- 21:08Speaker 4: does need it? Asia needs it, and Europe needs it.
- 21:12Speaker 4: Did either one of those regions lift a finger to
- 21:15Speaker 4: support us, even in trying to get the industry open,
- 21:18Speaker 4: putting pressure on Iran, putting pressure on the Chinese to
- 21:21Speaker 4: put pressure on Iran? None of them. All they did
- 21:24Speaker 4: was yell and scream and cry, but none of them,
- 21:26Speaker 4: these supposed allies and friends of the United States, none
- 21:29Speaker 4: of them lifted a finger to help us. which doesn't
- 21:33Speaker 4: surprise me at all because since World War II, we've
- 21:37Speaker 4: been used by these countries. I think G2 and I
- 21:39Speaker 4: were talking about that, and I agree with them on
- 21:41Speaker 4: that 100%. I'm tired of being the patsy for these countries.
- 21:48Speaker 4: You're just signing blank checks that they use. We're defending Europe.
- 21:52Speaker 4: It's time for these people to start paying their own freight.
- 21:56Speaker 4: So that would be my biggest takeaway from it. Once
- 21:59Speaker 4: this stabilizes over there, which God willing it will, It's
- 22:03Speaker 4: time to start building Fortress America and disengaging from a
- 22:07Speaker 4: lot of the rest of the world because we're not appreciated.
- 22:11Speaker 4: We're not, you know, it's not the, when we need them, they're,
- 22:17Speaker 4: you know, when they need us, we're there. When we
- 22:19Speaker 4: need them, they're not. And who needs a fair weather friend?
- 22:23Speaker 4: So I think it's time for us to just start
- 22:25Speaker 4: disengaging and build Fortress America and call it a day.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Did you watch the big celebration? I didn't watch any
- 22:32Speaker 2: of it. I thought I got an interesting email in
- 22:35Speaker 2: response to what Ted had to say. And it says,
- 22:39Speaker 2: in response to Ted, there's a lot more to America
- 22:41Speaker 2: than cops, firemen, and soldiers, when he said it was
- 22:44Speaker 2: saluting that. And I agree with that. I mean, I
- 22:47Speaker 2: think we take our average citizens for granted. I mean,
- 22:52Speaker 2: there are other– I agree with what the emailer is saying.
- 22:59Speaker 4: What celebration?
- 22:59Speaker 3: The U.S.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Debt fight that was last night?
- 23:01Speaker 2: Yeah, apparently there was some..
- 23:04Speaker 1: I didn't watch any of it.
- 23:06Speaker 4: If you honor the cops, the troops, I mean, I'm
- 23:08Speaker 4: not going to complain about that. By all means, honor them.
- 23:11Speaker 4: I didn't watch it. I think that sport is barbaric.
- 23:14Speaker 4: I think the fact that it was on the lawn
- 23:16Speaker 4: at the White House is idiotic.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but see, they try to justify it. They try
- 23:24Speaker 2: to justify it. I agree with you from my perspective.
- 23:27Speaker 2: But they say, well, Biden had that whole transgender thing. Well,
- 23:31Speaker 2: I think that was wrong, too.
- 23:32Speaker 1: What do they say?
- 23:33Speaker 2: Two wrongs don't make a right. That whole transgender thing
- 23:35Speaker 2: was wrong in this deal that they had last night.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I did not watch it. I mean, I just didn't have—
- 23:43Speaker 2: any desire to watch it. I was just doing other things.
- 23:46Speaker 2: So I didn't make the time to go watch it,
- 23:48Speaker 2: but I did see the clip. And I do think
- 23:51Speaker 2: it is it to me, it is in poor taste.
- 23:54Speaker 2: You have, I forget what are these fighters that made
- 23:58Speaker 2: the comment about Michelle Obama being a man. And I
- 24:02Speaker 2: just think that kind of stuff is just inappropriate. I mean, listen,
- 24:06Speaker 2: whether you like Obama or not, he was the president
- 24:08Speaker 2: and she was the first lady show some damn respect.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Well, yeah, and that's where I part ways with, you know,
- 24:15Speaker 4: I love most of Trump's policies. I think he's probably
- 24:19Speaker 4: one of the best policy-driven presidents of my lifetime, if
- 24:23Speaker 4: not the best. Probably even better than Reagan. That said,
- 24:27Speaker 4: he is not without his shortcomings. Most of, you know,
- 24:31Speaker 4: first and foremost, you know, that hole beneath his nose
- 24:34Speaker 4: that he can't keep shut most of the time. And
- 24:37Speaker 4: that's the... And what I understood, his biggest flaw, and
- 24:42Speaker 4: I like to look at things from a historical perspective,
- 24:44Speaker 4: and I think 15, 20, 30 years from now I'll
- 24:47Speaker 4: be dead, but if I were to live to see it,
- 24:50Speaker 4: the biggest criticism you'll have of Trump by historians, other
- 24:54Speaker 4: than the left-leaning ones who do what they do now,
- 24:57Speaker 4: is that he never has been able to rise to
- 25:00Speaker 4: the office. That's probably my biggest criticism of him. Act presidential.
- 25:08Speaker 4: You know, you don't need to sit there and tweet
- 25:11Speaker 4: everything and come up with these good name-calling and sit there.
- 25:15Speaker 4: He's in love with himself. I mean, he's definitely a
- 25:17Speaker 4: narcissist because everything he does is great and fantastic and wonderful.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Normal people don't talk like that. You and I don't
- 25:24Speaker 4: talk like that. You don't talk like that. You don't
- 25:26Speaker 4: sit here, oh, I've got the greatest talk show on Earth.
- 25:29Speaker 4: It's just ridiculous to sit there and self-promote yourself all
- 25:32Speaker 4: the time like that. Maybe his dad didn't love him
- 25:36Speaker 4: enough as a child. I don't know. I don't understand it.
- 25:39Speaker 4: But that said, from a policy standpoint, he's still the
- 25:43Speaker 4: best president. I vote for him 100 times as president
- 25:45Speaker 4: because of that. You know, I think what, and I
- 25:50Speaker 4: told you at the beginning of this, I know you
- 25:54Speaker 4: opposed it. I don't necessarily think it had to be done.
- 25:59Speaker 4: But I think if you can defang and neutralize or
- 26:03Speaker 4: even just, get them to quit being bad actors in
- 26:06Speaker 4: the Middle East, if you kind of neuter Iran, that's
- 26:10Speaker 4: a good thing for the world over the next couple
- 26:13Speaker 4: of decades. Because they're a bad actor. Probably the worst
- 26:17Speaker 4: actor in the world. North Korea is not even that.
- 26:20Speaker 4: North Korea just basically keeps to themselves. They're not exporting
- 26:24Speaker 4: stuff around the world. Iran, you look at the wars
- 26:27Speaker 4: that we fought in the Middle East, especially Gulf II,
- 26:31Speaker 4: Their proxies over there, their versions of Hezbollah in Iraq,
- 26:35Speaker 4: they sponsored a lot of that. They led to the
- 26:38Speaker 4: deaths of hundreds, if not thousands, of Americans with all
- 26:41Speaker 4: those roadside bombs and stuff like that. So they're not
- 26:44Speaker 4: a good government. I mean, we've got legitimate beefs with
- 26:48Speaker 4: them and what they're doing. And the rest of the
- 26:50Speaker 4: Middle East. You know, those other countries didn't do anything,
- 26:53Speaker 4: and he hit the other Arab countries.
- 26:57Speaker 5: Right.
- 26:59Speaker 4: I think it's good that we're at a strategic pause
- 27:01Speaker 4: on that. I was just reading a Wall Street Journal
- 27:03Speaker 4: article or a Fox article, I can't remember, and it
- 27:06Speaker 4: was an op-ed, and it basically said where we're at
- 27:09Speaker 4: right now is a strategic pause. This isn't a victory.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Neither side can claim victory at all. But the fighting
- 27:16Speaker 4: has stopped. Hopefully it stays stopped, and we can reach
- 27:19Speaker 4: a detente with them that stops them from being aggressive,
- 27:24Speaker 4: bad actors. And from this point on, as far as
- 27:27Speaker 4: I'm concerned, like I said, Time to pack our bags
- 27:29Speaker 4: and come home.
- 27:32Speaker 1: All right. Well said. Thank you, Rich. Appreciate it. Well said.
- 27:35Speaker 1: All right. You're on the air. I thought you'd take
- 27:37Speaker 1: care as well. Wait a second here. Let me do this.
- 27:40Speaker 1: You're on the air.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Hi there.
- 27:42Speaker 5: You almost cut me off.
- 27:44Speaker 4: I know.
- 27:45Speaker 5: Did you do that on purpose or what?
- 27:47Speaker 1: Yes. It was a secret mission of mine.
- 27:50Speaker 5: Well, okay. I don't... Everybody wants to... everybody wants to
- 28:00Speaker 5: agree with Trump, but them bad people over there in
- 28:03Speaker 5: the Middle East, and that's including Israel, are never, ever,
- 28:07Speaker 5: ever going to stop fighting. And that's a fact. I mean,
- 28:12Speaker 5: you talk about critical thinking and woke, well, if it
- 28:16Speaker 5: hadn't been for critical thinking and woke, we would have
- 28:20Speaker 5: never had the Boston Tea Party. Same thing with the
- 28:23Speaker 5: Revolutionary War. Same thing with The Civil War. But the
- 28:31Speaker 5: thing that gets me is when you read what him
- 28:35Speaker 5: and his group have done as far as getting rid
- 28:38Speaker 5: of anybody that is black, indigenous Indian, women, and LBGT,
- 28:47Speaker 5: they have gone out of their way to get rid
- 28:48Speaker 5: of those people who served in the military for us.
- 28:55Speaker 5: And I don't understand why people think that he has
- 28:58Speaker 5: done so good, measurably, when he's jacked up the cotton-picking
- 29:05Speaker 5: debt that we owe so high. If he was such
- 29:09Speaker 5: a businessman, why didn't he cut that back? No, he
- 29:12Speaker 5: added more to it. He did it his first time.
- 29:16Speaker 5: And the way he talks and the way he carries on,
- 29:21Speaker 5: there is no point in history... that anybody cannot move
- 29:25Speaker 5: out without thinking about it. If they were just to
- 29:28Speaker 5: listen and sit back and not know it was Trump,
- 29:31Speaker 5: they'd say, who the hell is that? Why in the
- 29:33Speaker 5: world would all these countries throughout the world step up
- 29:36Speaker 5: to help us when he went after them? with the tariffs?
- 29:41Speaker 5: And the tariffs are going to come and bite us
- 29:43Speaker 5: in the next five to ten years. Because people are
- 29:46Speaker 5: going to realize, we don't need America. We can go
- 29:50Speaker 5: to China. And China's over there licking its chops saying, yeah,
- 29:54Speaker 5: I'll buy from you, but it ain't going to be
- 29:56Speaker 5: the same price because America's out. And that's what China
- 30:01Speaker 5: was waiting for. And they got it. They are going
- 30:04Speaker 5: to take the world. They're not going to take the
- 30:06Speaker 5: world by war. They're going to take it by economics,
- 30:09Speaker 5: which is what Ronald Reagan said Japan was trying to do.
- 30:12Speaker 5: I just, I can't. And it just irritates me when
- 30:18Speaker 5: people start talking about this thing woke for the past
- 30:22Speaker 5: seven years. Then if you think about it a little
- 30:25Speaker 5: bit longer, Trump's been screaming about it. rigged elections for
- 30:31Speaker 5: how many years now? Two years prior to going in
- 30:37Speaker 5: after Obama, then the whole time through the four years,
- 30:41Speaker 5: then after he lost the next election, he kept screaming,
- 30:47Speaker 5: it's rigged, it's rigged, and he keeps on doing it.
- 30:49Speaker 5: It got to the point where that was the big
- 30:52Speaker 5: flag for the conservative Republicans to say that they couldn't
- 30:57Speaker 5: have their way And if you didn't vote with them,
- 31:02Speaker 5: you were considered a rhino. And you know what happened
- 31:05Speaker 5: in this state when they pulled that. Somebody called up
- 31:08Speaker 5: and talked to the guy that was usually in the morning,
- 31:12Speaker 5: telling him exactly what was going on. And then they
- 31:16Speaker 5: shut up. This Republican doesn't understand why people cannot see
- 31:25Speaker 5: what is truly going on here. We've got a crime
- 31:28Speaker 5: family that's in the White House right now making hundreds
- 31:32Speaker 5: of millions of dollars a year. So, so far. And
- 31:35Speaker 5: they're going to keep on doing it.
- 31:38Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 31:39Speaker 5: But that's what this Republican sees. He's not doing anything
- 31:42Speaker 5: for me. I'm too old now. You're too old now.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
- 31:49Speaker 5: Okay.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Yes, sir.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Knock it off with the too old crap.
- 31:53Speaker 5: Okay.
- 31:55Speaker 4: Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
- 31:57Speaker 5: I'm sorry, but it's the truth.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Just when I was starting to feel good about myself today,
- 32:03Speaker 2: you slapped me right down.
- 32:05Speaker 5: You're only as old as you think you are.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Yeah, but now I think I'm much older based on
- 32:10Speaker 2: your comments. Hey, listen, he benefited stuff. Keep in mind,
- 32:15Speaker 2: if you're on Social Security, well, it doesn't even matter
- 32:18Speaker 2: if you're on Social Security. If you're over 65, you
- 32:20Speaker 2: got a significant tax deduction as a result of Trump.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Believe me when I tell you, you save significantly on it.
- 32:28Speaker 2: There's things that... that he has done that you've benefited
- 32:32Speaker 2: from as far as tax cuts are concerned and allowing
- 32:35Speaker 2: you to keep more of your money.
- 32:37Speaker 5: I don't know about that because when I looked at mine,
- 32:40Speaker 5: I couldn't see it.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Well, it's there.
- 32:42Speaker 2: And then you also take a look at some of
- 32:44Speaker 2: the things that are going on with prescription drugs and
- 32:46Speaker 2: the costs that you can save that he's doing there
- 32:50Speaker 2: as well.
- 32:51Speaker 5: Let's corporate agree with the minute he walks out, TrumpMed
- 32:55Speaker 5: is gone.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Well, let's hope it isn't.
- 32:59Speaker 5: Well, I hope so, too, but we ought to go
- 33:01Speaker 5: back there and have Social Security or Medicare or Medicare
- 33:05Speaker 5: should walk in there and start negotiating prices.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 33:10Speaker 6: Huh?
- 33:11Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 33:13Speaker 5: I mean, it's just, I don't understand. I look at
- 33:17Speaker 5: this and I'm so scared for my grandkids and my
- 33:21Speaker 5: great-grandkids of what they're going to have to pay for.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Oh, if you're saying that, I would agree with you.
- 33:27Speaker 2: If you're saying you're concerned for your children and your
- 33:29Speaker 2: grandchildren because of the debt and deficit of this country,
- 33:33Speaker 2: how it continues to grow, how we continue to spend
- 33:36Speaker 2: more money than we take in, how the interest takes
- 33:39Speaker 2: up so much of our tax dollars, how there seems
- 33:41Speaker 2: to be zero interest in solving this problem, and we
- 33:44Speaker 2: pass that burden on to future generations, they have every
- 33:48Speaker 2: right to be pissed about that. I'm in total... Total
- 33:51Speaker 2: agreement with you there. I mean, if you're saying, am
- 33:54Speaker 2: I concerned about the future for our younger generations? And
- 33:58Speaker 2: my answer to that would be yes, when it comes
- 34:00Speaker 2: to the debt and deficit of the country. And also
- 34:02Speaker 2: my answer to that would be yes, when it comes
- 34:04Speaker 2: to the cost of health care, which is already off
- 34:06Speaker 2: the charts.
- 34:07Speaker 1: And where can that be going?
- 34:08Speaker 2: And also it would be saying the burden of taxes
- 34:12Speaker 2: that people will face as a result of it. I'm
- 34:16Speaker 2: concerned about all of those things. And then you throw
- 34:19Speaker 2: in AI on top of it. There's four major things
- 34:22Speaker 2: I'm concerned with with the younger generation, which would include
- 34:26Speaker 2: my own adult children. I mean, I think they should
- 34:29Speaker 2: be OK for the most part. But I'm genuinely concerned
- 34:33Speaker 2: based on those things. Debt and deficit of the country.
- 34:36Speaker 2: the amount of taxes that people are going to have
- 34:39Speaker 2: to be charged on this, the cost of health care,
- 34:44Speaker 2: and the AI situation is of grave concern to me
- 34:48Speaker 2: for younger generations.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I'm with you there.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Stand by for me. If you've got more to say,
- 34:53Speaker 2: just hang in there for a minute. I'll be right
- 34:55Speaker 2: back with them after this. Youngstown's news, weather, and talk station,
- 34:59Speaker 2: 570 WKBN. So I think you make some legitimate points
- 35:04Speaker 2: when you say you're concerned about what's ahead for future generations,
- 35:07Speaker 2: because I would totally agree with you. But like I said,
- 35:11Speaker 2: I throw AI in as well, and what effects that
- 35:13Speaker 2: could have.
- 35:15Speaker 5: You know, are you done? Yeah. Okay, this gerrymandering stuff
- 35:20Speaker 5: going on, United States people are lazy. They don't want
- 35:25Speaker 5: to get out and vote. In places like California, they
- 35:28Speaker 5: did the ballot because it's easier to do the ballot-ing thing.
- 35:32Speaker 5: I've been doing the ballot-ing thing since Obama because I
- 35:35Speaker 5: didn't want to stand in line for a half hour,
- 35:38Speaker 5: 45 minutes to vote. So I've been doing it that way,
- 35:42Speaker 5: like I said.
- 35:43Speaker 1: What do you mean? You go down to the Board
- 35:44Speaker 1: of Elections to vote?
- 35:46Speaker 5: No, I did that twice, and I had to stand
- 35:49Speaker 5: in line for a half an hour. I said, I
- 35:52Speaker 5: ain't doing this nonsense anymore. I ain't wasting my time.
- 35:55Speaker 5: When I can have them sent for me, then I
- 35:56Speaker 5: can do it at my leisure, at my house.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but how we do it in Ohio as far
- 36:01Speaker 2: as mailing ballots is much different than in California. In California,
- 36:04Speaker 2: they're mailing everyone a ballot. And that's not right. You
- 36:09Speaker 2: could be dead. You could move.
- 36:10Speaker 1: You don't know who's voting that ballot.
- 36:12Speaker 2: We do it in a much better fashion here in
- 36:14Speaker 2: the state of Ohio. It's way different how we do
- 36:17Speaker 2: it here. than they do in California. I've got to
- 36:19Speaker 2: get you to stand by again. I'll wrap up my
- 36:21Speaker 2: conversation with you and get to more calls that have
- 36:23Speaker 2: been patient. Right after the break at 4, I'll ask
- 36:25Speaker 2: him to stand by. Ron Ferb from the Kingdom of Mahoney.
- 36:32Speaker 1: From ABC News, I'm Michelle Franzen.
- 36:35Speaker 7: In the French Alps, President Trump is meeting with world
- 36:37Speaker 7: leaders for the start of the G7 summit. Earlier, the
- 36:40Speaker 7: president told reporters he thinks terms of a deal between
- 36:43Speaker 7: the U.S. and Iran will be finalized later this week.
- 36:45Speaker 1: The deal's on the side.
- 36:47Speaker 6: And the strain is already partially opened. As you know,
- 36:50Speaker 6: they're doing a little hunting for a couple of mines
- 36:54Speaker 6: that they've already found. But it's essentially ships are starting
- 36:59Speaker 6: to go out now on Friday.
- 37:01Speaker 1: It'll be completely open.
- 37:02Speaker 7: The U.S. Navy today issuing a maritime advisory to ships
- 37:05Speaker 7: saying the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports will remain in
- 37:09Speaker 7: effect until an agreement is formally complete. Prices for a
- 37:12Speaker 7: barrel of crude began to drop today on word of
- 37:14Speaker 7: a deal and in the U.S. gas prices also dipping
- 37:17Speaker 7: below $ 4 a gallon. California's Governor Gavin Newsom in a
- 37:21Speaker 7: social media post on X says the Justice Department has
- 37:24Speaker 7: launched an investigation into him and his wife. He didn't
- 37:27Speaker 7: specify why. ABC's Alex Mallon has more on the possible probe.
- 37:32Speaker 8: Is looking into Gavin Newsom's wife's taxes. It's really unclear
- 37:37Speaker 8: whether prosecutors have amassed any evidence that would suggest they
- 37:40Speaker 8: are going to seek an indictment against Gavin Newsom or
- 37:44Speaker 8: his wife. They've been trying to speak and subpoena people
- 37:47Speaker 8: close to him, close to his wife, to dredge up
- 37:49Speaker 8: in his words information that would lead them to potentially
- 37:52Speaker 8: seek charges. And he is framing this as a campaign
- 37:55Speaker 8: of retribution by President Trump.
- 37:56Speaker 7: In Southern California, officials at Edwards Air Force Base in
- 37:59Speaker 7: a social media post announced emergency personnel are responding to
- 38:03Speaker 7: a B-52 crash that happened shortly after takeoff this morning.
- 38:06Speaker 7: The air base, located nearly two hours northeast of Los Angeles,
- 38:11Speaker 7: the Air Force and NASA conduct test flights of new
- 38:13Speaker 7: and developmental aircraft there. In Missouri, federal investigators beginning to
- 38:17Speaker 7: collect evidence at the scene of the deadly skydiving plane
- 38:20Speaker 7: crash Sunday. Outside Kansas City, the pilot along with 11
- 38:24Speaker 7: skydivers were killed when the plane went down shortly after takeoff.
- 38:28Speaker 7: You're listening to ABC News.
