- 0:00Speaker 1: Oh wait, my doctor is a dude.
- 0:02Speaker 2: It's one more thing, one more thing?
- 0:08Speaker 3: Are you talking, gycologist?
- 0:11Speaker 1: I am? Do you're really uncomfortable here?
- 0:15Speaker 3: Okay? Oh no, I'll just sit back with my feet
- 0:18Speaker 3: in the stirrups and try to relax.
- 0:20Speaker 4: I picture every woman is a Barbie doll?
- 0:22Speaker 1: What?
- 0:22Speaker 5: Uh?
- 0:24Speaker 3: What? Do most women prefer a dude or a woman?
- 0:27Speaker 2: So I thought I preferred a woman. I have had
- 0:31Speaker 2: the same gynecologist for eighteen years and it has been a.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Bear with me. Guys.
- 0:42Speaker 2: It has been a table grabbing experience every time, where.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I'm just like, really this Yes.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I texted my friend yesterday because I had an appointment
- 0:51Speaker 2: and I was like, just pray for me because this
- 0:54Speaker 2: is awful, and she's like, really, I don't even this
- 0:56Speaker 2: isn't even a thing for me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I'm like, oh no, it's a thing for me. Do
- 1:01Speaker 1: you have.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Any reason why? Without being too graphic or personal, I.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Do have a reason.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Is it? Well, I guess is it psychological like my
- 1:12Speaker 3: son has got so much anxiety about these sorts of
- 1:14Speaker 3: things that everything's a table grabbing experience or is it
- 1:17Speaker 3: something physically different about you?
- 1:19Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:19Speaker 2: It's both okay, But I'm I'm also just a terrible
- 1:23Speaker 2: medical patient, like shots all that stuff, Like I'm laying
- 1:27Speaker 2: me down because I'm going to pass out. I have
- 1:29Speaker 2: tattoos and piercings all over the place, but if you
- 1:32Speaker 2: come at me with a syringe, I'm checking out.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Yea, my son handled it well yesterday, first time in
- 1:37Speaker 3: his life. I was very proud of him. He had
- 1:40Speaker 3: no problem getting a shot. He just didn't really awesome.
- 1:44Speaker 2: You know what, that's once he hits that that threshold,
- 1:49Speaker 2: keep him there because that's yeah, that's really important.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Having that experience once will make a huge difference, right
- 1:55Speaker 3: for the future. Fear anyway, back to your privates.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Well, no, hey, thank you for whatever reason. And I'm
- 2:02Speaker 2: not like, I'm not a sissy. Pain doesn't really bother me.
- 2:05Speaker 2: But for what when it comes to medical stuff, dental
- 2:08Speaker 2: and medical I have big issues. So for the last
- 2:13Speaker 2: eighteen years I've had the same doctor and it has
- 2:17Speaker 2: been an awful experience.
- 2:19Speaker 1: So I had a new doctor yesterday.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It was a man, and the greatest experience I've ever had.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I'm not saying that's sexual, yeah, but in a different
- 2:30Speaker 1: category here now, and you know what. Okay.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Also side note, my husband said this to me. He
- 2:36Speaker 2: was like, I've like read that there's a pleasurable experience
- 2:39Speaker 2: when you have that done, like a pap smear done.
- 2:41Speaker 1: No, that's a lie. Okay, let's just.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Uh I've known and lived with plenty of women through
- 2:49Speaker 4: my life and I ain't heard that one. Okay.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Well, for whatever reason, he thought there might be, and
- 2:54Speaker 2: I set that straight real quick.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I was like, okay, So he was a little good
- 2:57Speaker 3: because he had heard that. Yeah, and he was like,
- 3:00Speaker 3: you thought a dude gave you a pleasurable private parts experience.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I'm not digging this.
- 3:04Speaker 1: That's exactly what happened.
- 3:05Speaker 2: He was like, well, wait, your doctor was a guy,
- 3:07Speaker 2: and you know I've read that these are pleasures.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Now Nope, nothing that text real quick, we're texting buddies now. Yeah. Yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 1: what's up, dub.
- 3:17Speaker 4: I made my doctor kiss me on the mouth before
- 3:19Speaker 4: my colonoscopy. Yeah, it was so great.
- 3:23Speaker 2: He finished with me, and I was like, that's it
- 3:26Speaker 2: really no, Uh, so I I've I've had an awful experience.
- 3:31Speaker 1: It was a male doctor.
- 3:32Speaker 2: He was great, but I really struggle with the fact
- 3:36Speaker 2: that he was a guy prior to the appointment. So
- 3:40Speaker 2: I don't know if this is like, actually, I just
- 3:44Speaker 2: realized this all just hit me in the face.
- 3:45Speaker 1: How dumb this podcast topic is?
- 3:47Speaker 2: Because how upset are you guys when a girl is
- 3:50Speaker 2: the one that has to make you cough?
- 3:52Speaker 3: I don't want a woman doing that. I have a
- 3:54Speaker 3: guy doctor. No, I'd rather not have a woman involved
- 3:58Speaker 3: in my privates at all.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, I had. It was a miserable experience. I
- 4:03Speaker 4: had some fairly severe pain that turned out to be nothing.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Long story, but they had to do an ultrasound of
- 4:10Speaker 4: various nether regions the Netherlands and uh and it was
- 4:14Speaker 4: a model hot thirty year old married gal and me
- 4:22Speaker 4: in a state of not readiness and just miserableness, and
- 4:26Speaker 4: it was terrible. It introduced a dynamic I didn't want.
- 4:30Speaker 4: It was fine. I dealt with it.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I'm good, but I read Yeah, if you had the choice, really,
- 4:36Speaker 3: oh about a doubt anybody who would want that? As
- 4:38Speaker 3: a weirdo? And I have a friend. She was she
- 4:42Speaker 3: worked in a doctor's office and she's attractive now, but
- 4:45Speaker 3: she was very attractive when she was younger, and patients
- 4:48Speaker 3: would regularly say I don't want her. Do male patients,
- 4:51Speaker 3: please don't? I don't want her for stuff down around
- 4:54Speaker 3: the Groino region.
- 4:56Speaker 1: This is fascinating to me.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Okay, so because he was a count, I don't either way,
- 5:01Speaker 2: because it's medical.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It just takes out any sexiness.
- 5:04Speaker 4: You know, you're just getting. I don't.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I can't be aroused in a medical office.
- 5:08Speaker 3: First of all, I'm not gonna get aroused.
- 5:09Speaker 4: There's getting a roused in this situation.
- 5:12Speaker 3: There's a chance of that, but I just i'd rather
- 5:14Speaker 3: not if I got my choice, or I could go
- 5:16Speaker 3: the other direction. I get, I don't want to. She's
- 5:17Speaker 3: got to be under twenty five and surely er uniform.
- 5:20Speaker 3: That's the only way we're gonna do, right.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Okay, well then you'll be standing at attention. Right.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I had one medical thing. Yeah, I won't to explain why,
- 5:30Speaker 3: but and it was a woman. I got there and
- 5:33Speaker 3: it was a woman and it was specifically about am
- 5:37Speaker 3: I dead? Here I am, it's something.
- 5:39Speaker 4: We're all dead. Maybe a bomb went off? Hell over're back?
- 5:42Speaker 3: Okay.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 5:43Speaker 3: I had a medical thing where it was specifically that
- 5:46Speaker 3: area and they had to like really give it the
- 5:48Speaker 3: once over. And it was a young woman, and I thought,
- 5:51Speaker 3: this is the worst. This is the only time in
- 5:53Speaker 3: my life I've ever had to have this done, and
- 5:55Speaker 3: it's a woman fantastic, Like Joe said, it was fine,
- 5:59Speaker 3: it was, it was over. But if I get to
- 6:00Speaker 3: choose by far, give me a seventy year old dude.
- 6:04Speaker 1: That's so weird. Okay.
- 6:05Speaker 2: So I think there's a big difference here, because for me,
- 6:11Speaker 2: when I found out my doctor was a guy, I
- 6:13Speaker 2: was mortified.
- 6:14Speaker 3: But would do you prefer he's attractive or unattractive? Or
- 6:17Speaker 3: does it make no difference?
- 6:18Speaker 2: Oh?
- 6:18Speaker 1: Dude, he was smoking hot?
- 6:20Speaker 3: Really?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, smoking hot has a good job. Obviously gay though,
- 6:24Speaker 2: which is fine. All of them are all of them?
- 6:28Speaker 3: Are?
- 6:29Speaker 1: Wait?
- 6:29Speaker 5: Really?
- 6:30Speaker 1: All of them?
- 6:30Speaker 2: What a lot of the really good looking guys like guys?
- 6:36Speaker 5: Oh okay, it's just the hormones in the water. Frogs
- 6:41Speaker 5: have most sense of genitalia. The water's making the frogs gay.
- 6:45Speaker 5: Are you crazy? Women's turn them gay?
- 6:48Speaker 4: Well, they tried, and they tried, but there's just no winning.
- 6:52Speaker 4: So they thought, Yeah, but she's a He.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Was so sweet and like dance. Probably I didn't ask
- 7:02Speaker 1: him to.
- 7:03Speaker 4: I canna explain this to you, and I actually know
- 7:05Speaker 4: a couple of obgyns. I got to ask him about this.
- 7:09Speaker 4: If you're a woman and cause that sort of discomfort
- 7:13Speaker 4: and maybe not aren't quite as attentive to your patient's
- 7:16Speaker 4: comfort as you should be. It's a different dynamic than
- 7:20Speaker 4: if you're a dude doing that. If you're a dude
- 7:23Speaker 4: doing that, you're a monster.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Yeah you know what I mean.
- 7:27Speaker 1: So okay. The reason that I'm I bought was.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Holding out I know my way around that area.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, sometimes I just want to lay down
- 7:38Speaker 2: and die.
- 7:38Speaker 3: I was just wondering if it's a benefit to being
- 7:40Speaker 3: a But I guess you own the part, so you
- 7:42Speaker 3: should know.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Here's my deal.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I have had the same OBGYN since I was sixteen,
- 7:49Speaker 2: and it has been a painful, awful experience every single time.
- 7:54Speaker 2: And it was a woman, and then yesterday I had
- 7:57Speaker 2: a new doctor. It was a dude, and it was
- 8:01Speaker 2: it was the least invasive, most comfortable shaking hands afterwards
- 8:07Speaker 2: situation I've ever been.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Words are the wise for the women's If it's not great,
- 8:12Speaker 4: keep shopping.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, there you go.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Yeah you guys. You guys summed it up. Thank you, Jack.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Would you like to say anything horrifically inappropriate before we
- 8:20Speaker 4: end up podcast?
- 8:24Speaker 3: I'm surprised it's never come up in a doctor's office
- 8:26Speaker 3: where they ask you if you'd prefer a male or
- 8:28Speaker 3: a female. I gotta believe most people have a preference.
- 8:30Speaker 1: No, they asked me if I would mind if it
- 8:33Speaker 1: was a man.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Speaking for me? Did they they ask? Would you prefer
- 8:36Speaker 3: a man or a woman to be doing this? Yeah?
- 8:39Speaker 4: But then weird eve percent of the time they asked
- 8:42Speaker 4: for the other sex. Then they might think maybe you
- 8:45Speaker 4: just ought of fire Jim or Jenny or whatever, and
- 8:48Speaker 4: it's it's because they are professionals and they can handle
- 8:50Speaker 4: it either way.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:52Speaker 2: But if if the patient goes, oh, I'd like a female, yah,
- 8:57Speaker 2: are you?
- 8:58Speaker 1: Well?
- 8:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but are you putting the physician in some weird
- 9:02Speaker 2: situation if the patient's a pervert?
- 9:04Speaker 3: I suppose.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 9:06Speaker 2: So there's my gynecology story, guys, and a lovely story.
- 9:11Speaker 4: It was.
- 9:11Speaker 3: I could never be a doctor. I just I don't
- 9:13Speaker 3: want to see average people's parts naked, touch them. I
- 9:19Speaker 3: could never be a doctor.
- 9:20Speaker 2: If I walked in for a for an obg U
- 9:23Speaker 2: I n and Jack was my doctor, I'd jump out
- 9:25Speaker 2: the window.
- 9:25Speaker 3: But even just like dealing with their feet or you know,
- 9:28Speaker 3: I got this thing under my arm or whatever, doctors
- 9:31Speaker 3: do that?
- 9:31Speaker 1: Hey Jack, I got this growth right? Right Jack?
- 9:37Speaker 3: Do they start that way or does it? Do they
- 9:39Speaker 3: get desensitized over the years of being a doctor. I
- 9:42Speaker 3: wonder do you think you start medical school as you're
- 9:44Speaker 3: just the sort of person that you're not. You know,
- 9:49Speaker 3: I'm ooged out by the human body.
- 9:52Speaker 4: There's there's growing into that, like any career.
- 9:54Speaker 3: I think I would imagine.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Joe, you have a medical problem and you walk in
- 9:57Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, it's doctor Jack.
- 9:59Speaker 1: What do you do?
- 10:00Speaker 5: Oh?
- 10:00Speaker 4: Come on number one? What kind of medicals?
- 10:05Speaker 3: Actually kind of hospital is this? Have you any standards?
- 10:10Speaker 2: You know? I just got this cataract, removed my right eye,
- 10:13Speaker 2: and they made me drop my pants, and now I'm suspicious?
- 10:16Speaker 1: Is it doctor Jack? Well, I guess that's it.
