  We're back with the Jim More and the Hucon football coaches showed a couple more

  minutes with him coming up Durante Jones Jordan Porter. We'll talk to them about

  their Husky experiences. But coach, I'm going to have a discussion with these

  guys about who plays better high school football now. Jordan Porter told me California

  from Rancho Cucamonga. They're just above San Diego, and he was talking to
• 0:22
  me about his seven on sevens and how good those guys are throwing to football.

  Meanwhile, Durante Jones from Georgie, Atlanta, kid was telling me,

  Yeah, they're just tougher down in Georgia. So I'm putting it on you.

  Where are we standing on this high school football thing? Who plays the
• 0:35
  best high school football? They both played good high school football. You know.

  You you go out to California and a team like Saint John Bosco goes
• 0:47
  down to Florida and beats a great team in Saint Thomas Aquinas and kind of
• 0:50
  valudy it themselves, modern day big time team. You going to Georgia and
• 0:55
  football's religion, and you got Beauford High School down there and Carrolton some other
• 0:59
  grades, Luls. You know, I don't know that there that you can
• 1:03
  say one area is better than the other. I can tell you this,
• 1:04
  there are there are great schools in both of those states, along with every
• 1:10
  other state in the country. But I know it's highly competitive in southern California
• 1:14
  and it was highly competitive in Georgia. You know, I've lived in both
• 1:18
  areas, uh, And I think it depends on the team, you know.

  So I'm gonna I'm not gonna give you a solid answer there because we
• 1:26
  recruit both of those areas and I'm not going to alienate myself from one or
• 1:30
  the other. And it's truly what I believe. I think there's a lot
• 1:33
  of really good high school football coaches and a lot of really good high school
• 1:34
  football teams in all of the states of our country. Mike, it's a
• 1:41
  very diplomatic answer, by the way, But quick thought on Deronte Jones,
• 1:45
  because you got him out of Atlanta, Georgia, real good high school players,
• 1:49
  state championship kind of caliber guy. So when you see a guy in
• 1:53
  high school like him, how do you project what's he gonna do for me
• 1:57
  in college? I love the fact that he's a winner. I love the
• 2:00
  fact that he's plays with passion, and you know, you see those attributes
• 2:06
  and you hope that they transfer to this level, and you hope that he
• 2:08
  brings that mindset of a winner and of a competitor and of a maniacal worker
• 2:14
  to your football team. And Durante certainly has done that. You know.
• 2:17
  I mean, nobody works harder. It doesn't mean more of anybody than it
• 2:22
  does to Durante. I'm not saying there's other guys that doesn't mean the same
• 2:24
  too, but Durante's never gonna come in second, maybe tied for furtherst.

  So you know, I love having guys like that on our team, and
• 2:32
  we're grateful and fortunate that he's he's a member of this football team. Yeah,
• 2:37
  he lives that. He breathes a win or lose. I mean,
• 2:39
  we really appreciate him, certainly. I'm sure the coaching staff does as well.
