September 28th
Soul, art rock, pop, funk and jazz come together in today’s episode of The Music Dial, with stories connected to September 28.
We remember Ben E. King and St. Vincent, revisit The Beatles’ Hey Jude reaching number one in the United States, return to Stevie Wonder’s landmark album Songs in the Key of Life, and reflect on the legacy of Miles Davis.
One date, several generations, and music that stretches from classic soul to some of the most influential jazz and pop ever recorded.
