Latest / Brandon Fogal Evolution / #166 - Pam Bondi: The Epstein Scandal's New Scapegoat?
Transcript
- 0:00So I know you all are tired of hearing about the Epstein thing that's always
- 0:04that's going on. I wanted to go through this, though.
- 0:07There's been some new revelations regarding Pam Bondi and Dan Bongino and their
- 0:12whole kind of scuff that they've been having within the government.
- 0:15Almost that Dan Bongino is like if either Pam goes or I go.
- 0:20So Pam is actually Dan's boss. She is the attorney general of the United States. So over the FBI.
- 0:27So you have to take that into account. And then also, Cash Patel has been out there as well.
- 0:32I think all three have been pretty, they've been good at what they're doing.
- 0:37Dan Bongino has been pretty stellar. Cash Patel has been stellar.
- 0:41And I think there's no people that could be doing it better than those two guys.
- 0:48Pam Bondi, on the other hand, I've been back and forth.
- 0:52I didn't really know too much about her, but before she got named the attorney
- 0:57general. And even early on, I felt a little iffy on her.
- 1:01I was like, I'm not even when nothing really had come out about her,
- 1:06nothing about what she was doing was anything wrong.
- 1:09And I don't think she's done anything wrong. But it's just I did not feel like
- 1:12I didn't get that good, warm feeling from her that she was really going to be the best one for the job.
- 1:19I think naming an attorney general is tough to do in the first place.
- 1:22It seems like every one you pick doesn't turn out too awesome.
- 1:28And Trump did get his first pick of Matt Gaetz to be the nominee,
- 1:32but that's neither here nor there. But I wanted to kind of go through this.
- 1:36And ABC News, they gave a pretty good solid timeline of the whole kind of what's
- 1:41been going on about the what's come out about the Epstein list and how the mishandle
- 1:46has happened and the kind of the back and forth, the changing of stories that have been going on.
- 1:51But first of all, this is the notorious finance financer who died by suicide in 2019.
- 1:57I heard this the other day. I can't believe it's been that long.
- 2:00I can't believe it's really been that long since that whole thing happened when
- 2:04he was supposedly murdered in prison.
- 2:07But, you know, everybody is familiar with Epstein. Everybody is familiar with Epstein, I'm sure.
- 2:13By now you've heard, you've heard of him. So this is 2023 is this is Bongino
- 2:19and Patel on the Epstein case. So they were named.
- 2:22They're kind of like, they're getting in there. They're familiar with it.
- 2:25They're very familiar with it. And these were guys that were outside of the
- 2:28government and they had been brought in by Trump.
- 2:31These are two awesome guys put on the case.
- 2:34And I mean, they're, they're dealing with a lot of things. This is just one
- 2:37of the mountain of things that they have to deal with.
- 2:41But this is a big one. And I think this is almost the first one that has been
- 2:45the, the kind of a screw up, kind of a screw up in handling and getting stories straight.
- 2:52And it seemed like Dan Bongini, he was all against, all against everybody,
- 2:58anybody letting this story go and letting it slip under the radar. And he's got in there.
- 3:02And now it seems like he's, he put his neck on the line and he said, Epstein was murdered.
- 3:07He was killed, you know, or not, not, he was murdered.
- 3:10I don't know the Freudian slip. He, he killed himself. And I don't think he
- 3:14had seen the tapes and he kind of just stuck it. He went on just the things that he'd been told.
- 3:19And then now it comes out that Pam Bondi released the, the video.
- 3:24It's got a minute missing. Things just do not line up at all.
- 3:27And now the, there's what they had said that the client list is going to be released.
- 3:32There's no more client list. All right. So 20, so February 20,
- 3:37uh, this year, DOJ releases first phase of the Epstein files.
- 3:42So then it was back in February that Pam Bondi was ready to kind of just start
- 3:47talking about the, the, the file is on my desk.
- 3:51I have it before me. The client list is right in front of me.
- 3:54I'm going to be analyzing and be looking it over.
- 3:57And then we kind of like fast forward and it starts getting kind of weirder
- 4:01as we get into May says Bondi in May 7th this year, Bonnie claims there are
- 4:0710,000 of Epstein videos that,
- 4:09And then July, just a week ago,
- 4:14Epstein Memo released, and this is what was kind of put out there,
- 4:17released to Axios, and it was just almost a joke that it was released to them
- 4:22that just almost to hide it, hide it, that it wasn't going to be a big deal.
- 4:28So people don't focus on it. Just after July 4th weekend, just slip it in there
- 4:34and just try to just put it out there So it's kind of it's everybody can take
- 4:38what they will get their kind of their story straight and get their questions ready to go.
- 4:42And she just wanted to slip it out there. Almost gives no credible evidence
- 4:46about what she put out there.
- 4:49It just doesn't line up with what she released.
- 4:52It says then Trump is he has stood with Pam Bondi.
- 4:56But we know that Trump is somebody that is always he's playing four moves ahead, it seems like.
- 5:01So I don't know if he's out up out in the open saying that. He's with her.
- 5:06He's he's staying with her that she's because she's loyal because she has been loyal to him.
- 5:11But then over the end of the week last week, Dan, Dan Bongino has come out and
- 5:17said, either she goes or I'm going.
- 5:19And that was kind of the thing that just rocked the weekend that hit that Dan
- 5:23Bongino is threatening to leave the FBI.
- 5:27We need Dan Bongino in there. And I hope he does not leave.
- 5:31I hope he does not leave. But it seems like there is a scuffle that is happening
- 5:35behind the scenes and almost that it tarnished his reputation of him going out
- 5:41there and saying, yeah, Epstein, he killed himself.
- 5:44You know, there's really nothing to see here. And then this whole this mishandling
- 5:48of releasing the evidence of what we have so far and now just retracting and
- 5:53going backwards and saying, oh, there is no client list at all.
- 5:58And I think everybody knows there's something there. So this.
- 6:03It seems like it's minutia and it doesn't matter at all.
- 6:07But this is something that I think could really hurt Trump's kind of image and
- 6:13reputation because he has always been, you could say vulgar at times,
- 6:18how just transparent he is.
- 6:21And he just says it, whatever's on his mind and whatever's the truth, he just says it how it is.
- 6:27This is something that it seems like things are being hidden.
- 6:31The things that are not being released to everyone because there's something
- 6:36going on that, I don't know if it's blackmail,
- 6:39I don't know what it is, and it could be them wanting to hold things over other people.
- 6:46It could shake things too much that they think it's not worth the effort to
- 6:52release these files and be just utterly transparent.
- 6:55I mean, when we get into transparency and revealing everything.
- 7:00I guess there's a reason the CIA does what it does.
- 7:04And the reason that they work in the dark and a lot, a lot of times and that
- 7:08nobody knows anything that's going on, it's probably because maybe it's not
- 7:11in the best interest of everybody to know everything that's going on.
- 7:14And maybe that's why I think the whole thing with Bondi though,
- 7:20is it's not that they want to be hush hush
- 7:23about this and they want to keep it keep it on the down low
- 7:25and not release everything but it's more of how
- 7:29she's went back and forth she she is running to the
- 7:32microphone she is releasing things she is saying things on on news networks
- 7:36and and just almost to like get the spotlight to get attention and now she is
- 7:44having to go back on it a lot of it as opposed to not saying anything in the first place.
- 7:50It's just that she is over-promising, way under-delivering.
- 7:54And now it's just there's no even delivery available to deliver.
- 7:59It's just it's not even on the table anymore of this client list.
- 8:02So there could be that there really is nothing there.
- 8:06Like there's nothing on paper that we don't have anything. I...
- 8:11But there's, I mean, when we talk about physical paper or whatever,
- 8:14there's still going to be records.
- 8:16If they, if the FBI is so good at finding and investigating,
- 8:20they're able to find who did all these things.
- 8:24Epstein seemed like a guy that was just untouchable. And it seems like he's
- 8:28becoming more and more in an evil way of a legend because it seems like he had so much,
- 8:35he was doing things that were just above our atmosphere.
- 8:39He was doing things that were beyond what regular people can do.
- 8:43And how much, how much power this guy had is just incredible.
- 8:48How much money he had was incredible. And I've heard that he wasn't even that brilliant of a person.
- 8:53He wasn't that amazingly smart or anything, but he was still able to just wield
- 8:59this power and this, and just strong arm people and governments and higher officials.
- 9:05I don't know, just getting them in this, getting them to do something and then
- 9:08just blackmailing the hell out of them or what.
- 9:11But it's not about just what he's done, but it's like, it's being,
- 9:14it's being built up more and more.
- 9:16And I think Trump, he needs to seriously take this as a real issue.
- 9:20He needs to take this as a real issue and just do a conference,
- 9:24just him, just talking about it, not having him body speak, him just talking
- 9:29through it and just talking through as much as he possibly can, because,
- 9:34and if he wants to pull up Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, that would be great.
- 9:39It wouldn't hurt a thing and just have them like go back and forth and talk through this.
- 9:44There's a reason I'm sure they don't do this a lot of the ways,
- 9:47but I mean, people that are in the government aren't as smart as we think.
- 9:50We always want to build them up and think they're the smartest people possible.
- 9:54A lot of things, it's the processes and the structures that they've put in place that are strong.
- 10:00And a lot of just regular guys, they don't know.
- 10:03They're just pushing numbers. But Trump needs to get ahead of this big time.
- 10:07Because this is, out of all the things he's done, I think everybody is pretty
- 10:11firm on board. If you trust in Trump, you think that he's doing a good job and
- 10:16he has the best interests.
- 10:17This is something that kind of flips it because it seems like he's not revealing something.
- 10:23He's allowing this skirmish to take place underneath him And I think he needs
- 10:29to address it big time And not just try to sweep it under the rug,
- 10:32He's going to hear it more and more Because every time if you bring up Epstein
- 10:35to him He gets pretty ticked off He doesn't want to hear about it.
- 10:39I think he wants to focus on his MAGA agenda of just making the economy great,
- 10:44making people's lives better.
- 10:45And he doesn't want to get sunk into this. But this is something that the Russia,
- 10:49all that stuff that everybody for years just put on him and try to make him
- 10:52like he seemed like he was a spy for Russia.
- 10:55That was one thing. That was something he just fought vehemently against,
- 10:59but people just kept coming at him.
- 11:01This is something that he really could get in front of.
- 11:04He could really just clear the air big time and just what, what people are wanting,
- 11:10what people have been promised because the people underneath him,
- 11:14Pam Bondi has promised and said that that is out there.
- 11:17He could say he could make her release at least what we have.
- 11:22What is actually there? You say there's no client list. You had a file.
- 11:25What was in that actual file that you said was on her desk that you had the
- 11:28client list in front of you. And now it's, it's suddenly just vanished. All right.
- 11:33All right. So there's, there's so much more to this that is happening.
- 11:37I think more and more is going to be released.
- 11:39More is going to come out. People are not, are not going to let this go.
- 11:43And I think this is from both sides. And it seems like I'm hearing more about
- 11:46it from the actual right, the people that want this all to come out and just
- 11:51to be revealed and not to be hidden anymore.
- 11:54It's not as much people on the left, but people on the right are doing this.
- 11:57So that tells you something that we want to hold the people that we've elected
- 12:03to as much, you know, scrutiny is possible.
- 12:05We want to see what's the, what's really going on, but so we'll leave it at that.
- 12:11Make sure you follow me on Instagram and X at at Brandon Fogle.
- 12:14Have a great day. Peace everyone.
