Mega Edition: Ghislaine Maxwell Pushes For a Gag Order In Her Trial And The Judge Responds (9/12/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

0:00
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell's team is trying to position themselves to get
0:03
Speaker 1: a gag order put on the lawyers and the survivors
0:07
Speaker 1: in this case. They don't want them talking to the
0:10
Speaker 1: media because they understand just how guilty Ghislaine Maxwell is
0:16
Speaker 1: and the fact that just the circumstantial evidence alone puts
0:20
Speaker 1: her in prison for a very, very long time. So
0:24
Speaker 1: they have positioned themselves now to try and get these
0:27
Speaker 1: girls who have been gagged since the very beginning, basically.
0:32
Speaker 1: Now they want them to shut up again and not
0:35
Speaker 1: tell their story and keep quiet? I really hope that
0:40
Speaker 1: Judge Allison Nathan smacks this request down. Because, look, these
0:47
Speaker 1: girls were forced into silence for so long. How dare
0:52
Speaker 1: anybody tell them who or what or why and when
0:55
Speaker 1: they can talk? It is unseemly to me. Especially considering
1:03
Speaker 1: that the cat is out of the bag at this point.
1:06
Speaker 1: If you wanted this to be a private trial and
1:09
Speaker 1: not tried in the public, well, Ghislaine Maxwell would have
1:12
Speaker 1: come forward a very long time ago and spilled the beans. Instead,
1:16
Speaker 1: she wanted a spectacle. Well, folks, we're going to have
1:19
Speaker 1: a spectacle now. People like this always believe that if
1:27
Speaker 1: they keep their BS in the dark, that they'll be
1:30
Speaker 1: able to get away with it. But unfortunately for them,
1:35
Speaker 1: the spotlight is directly on top of them. And what
1:40
Speaker 1: we see inside of their dark room makes us all furious.
1:47
Speaker 1: Our article today is from the Boston Globe. The author
1:50
Speaker 1: of the article is Travis Anderson. And the headline is,
1:54
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyers seek order barring prosecutors from talking to
1:59
Speaker 1: the press. And in cases like this, it's relatively typical.
2:04
Speaker 1: You expect the defense team to try and get a
2:08
Speaker 1: gag order instituted. That way, you know, they can kind
2:13
Speaker 1: of control the narrative more. But I'm very interested to
2:17
Speaker 1: see which way Nathan ends up going. Lawyers for Glenn Maxwell,
2:23
Speaker 1: the socialite, co-conspirator, child abuser, fellow scuzzbag, charged with helping
2:28
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein sexually abuse underage girls in the 1990s. Oh,
2:33
Speaker 1: many more times than that as well, folks. On Tuesday,
2:36
Speaker 1: asked the presiding judge in New York to bar the
2:39
Speaker 1: government from commenting publicly on the case outside the confines
2:44
Speaker 1: of the court proceedings. So basically, they're grasping at straws
2:49
Speaker 1: on the defense, right? They know that they don't have
2:53
Speaker 1: a defense right now. They don't have anything that's tenable.
2:56
Speaker 1: So what they're going to try and do is make
2:58
Speaker 1: it as so the girls and their lawyers can't continue
3:03
Speaker 1: going directly to the public with their story because they
3:06
Speaker 1: understand they have no counter for that. They don't have
3:09
Speaker 1: any sort of rebuttal for that. And they most certainly
3:13
Speaker 1: don't have a tangible defense for Ghislaine Maxwell. In a
3:19
Speaker 1: letter to Judge Allison J. Nathan, filed in U.S. District
3:22
Speaker 1: Court for the Southern District of New York, Maxwell's lawyers
3:26
Speaker 1: asked the judge to issue an order prohibiting the government,
3:29
Speaker 1: its agents, and counsel for witnesses from making extrajudicial statements
3:35
Speaker 1: concerning this case. And again, very expected. A move that
3:41
Speaker 1: should not shock anybody. The real question is, which way
3:45
Speaker 1: will Judge Nathan lean with a request such as this? Personally,
3:50
Speaker 1: I think with all of the information that's already out there,
3:53
Speaker 1: I think it would be ridiculous to slap a gag
3:55
Speaker 1: order on this case as of now, and especially considering
3:59
Speaker 1: what these survivors have been through with them being silenced
4:02
Speaker 1: for so long. It's not a good look, and I
4:05
Speaker 1: don't think it's the proper way to go about things.
4:07
Speaker 1: It's up to Ghislaine Maxwell's team to formulate the proper defense,
4:12
Speaker 1: and if they can't do that, maybe she should have
4:14
Speaker 1: hired better lawyers. Attorneys for Maxwell, 58, who was arrested
4:20
Speaker 1: July 2nd at a million dollar home in Bradford, New Hampshire,
4:23
Speaker 1: said in the letter that the government, as well as
4:26
Speaker 1: alleged survivors and their lawyers, have made and continue to
4:30
Speaker 1: make statements prejudicial to a fair trial. Again, what they
4:34
Speaker 1: want is silence from those who were abused. And we
4:37
Speaker 1: see this from all these high profile people anytime they're
4:40
Speaker 1: caught up in something like this. All of a sudden it's, oh,
4:44
Speaker 1: this needs to be done in secret. This needs to
4:46
Speaker 1: be done behind closed doors. We don't want anyone to
4:48
Speaker 1: know what's going on. That way they can try and maneuver.
4:51
Speaker 1: That way they can try and find their way through
4:53
Speaker 1: the loopholes. Well, it's not going to work this time. Sorry.
4:57
Speaker 1: Everything that has come out so far is damning enough.
5:01
Speaker 1: If there was no information to ever come out again
5:03
Speaker 1: until the trial, Ghislaine Maxwell is still guilty just based
5:08
Speaker 1: on the circumstantial evidence that has been provided. There is
5:13
Speaker 1: not a court in the land, a jury in the land,
5:15
Speaker 1: who is going to look at this case and the
5:18
Speaker 1: facts that are presented and think that Ghislaine Maxwell should
5:22
Speaker 1: not spend the rest of her life behind bars. I
5:25
Speaker 1: don't know where you would find that jury or even
5:28
Speaker 1: one jury member who would disagree at this point because
5:31
Speaker 1: it's pretty clear that Ghislaine Maxwell was a huge part
5:35
Speaker 1: in what was going on. She had a leadership role
5:38
Speaker 1: and she also actively took part in abusing these kids
5:42
Speaker 1: and women What more do you need? Eyewitness testimony, all
5:46
Speaker 1: sorts of circumstantial evidence. So you see the sort of
5:51
Speaker 1: situation that the defense finds themselves in, and it is
5:55
Speaker 1: a very long road. Maxwell's legal team cited comments made
6:01
Speaker 1: shortly after her arrest by acting U.S. attorney Audrey Strauss
6:05
Speaker 1: and FBI assistant director William F. Sweeney Jr., Strauss, the
6:09
Speaker 1: defense wrote, citing a New York Law Journal report, told
6:13
Speaker 1: the press, Maxwell enticed minor girls, got them to trust her,
6:17
Speaker 1: and then delivered them into the trap that she and
6:20
Speaker 1: Epstein had set for them. She pretended to be a
6:23
Speaker 1: woman they could trust. All the while, she was setting
6:26
Speaker 1: them up to be sexually abused by Epstein, and in
6:29
Speaker 1: some cases, by Maxwell herself. Well, is there anything incorrect
6:35
Speaker 1: with that statement? Or is it the problem really is, again,
6:39
Speaker 1: like I always talk about with these lawyers, technicalities, technicalities. Well,
6:43
Speaker 1: that's not supposed to be done like that. Oh, well,
6:46
Speaker 1: we need a mistrial. Screw you. Screw your loopholes and
6:49
Speaker 1: screw your technicalities, okay? Audrey Strauss was just speaking facts here.
6:55
Speaker 1: This is exactly what occurred according to those who were
6:59
Speaker 1: abused by Maxwell. If the defense doesn't like it, well,
7:03
Speaker 1: that's just too bad. Perhaps you should tell your client
7:06
Speaker 1: to not abuse little kids. Those comments were prejudicial, according
7:13
Speaker 1: to Maxwell's lawyers. Although Ms. Strauss sprinkled her comments with
7:17
Speaker 1: the phrase, as alleged, she presented certain of her statements
7:20
Speaker 1: as fact, Maxwell's attorney wrote. And Sweeney, they said, went
7:25
Speaker 1: even further, calling Ms. Maxwell one of the villains in
7:28
Speaker 1: this investigation, and compared her to a snake that slithered
7:31
Speaker 1: away to a gorgeous property in New Hampshire. Well, fact, fact, fact,
7:35
Speaker 1: and fact, okay? She is a huge villain in this investigation,
7:39
Speaker 1: one of the top villains of our time, in my opinion,
7:42
Speaker 1: and again, had a leadership role. So, Mr. Sweeney is
7:46
Speaker 1: not wrong there. And she did slither away. How many
7:50
Speaker 1: times did I say that? Slithering from hole to hole.
7:53
Speaker 1: 36 times before she was arrested, she moved. Yeah, I
7:57
Speaker 1: would call that slithering away. So that's a factual comment
8:01
Speaker 1: as well. So I don't know what her attorneys are thinking.
8:05
Speaker 1: I don't know what Cohen is talking about. I mean,
8:08
Speaker 1: maybe his head is still rattled from the beating Alison
8:11
Speaker 1: Moe gave him in the bail hearing. But be that
8:15
Speaker 1: as it may, her law team is grasping at straws here. Sweeney,
8:21
Speaker 1: the defense wrote, was out of line. No, your client
8:23
Speaker 1: was out of line for hiding, for running, for facilitating,
8:26
Speaker 1: and for abusing girls for so long. Thus, Mr. Sweeney
8:31
Speaker 1: offers the government's, again, flatly wrong, opinions about character and guilt,
8:36
Speaker 1: while at the same time invoking a semi-biblical reference involving
8:40
Speaker 1: a snake slithering away to a garden in New Hampshire. Well,
8:44
Speaker 1: that's what she did. She is a snake, she did
8:47
Speaker 1: slither away, and she ended up in New Hampshire. What
8:49
Speaker 1: is your problem here, okay? Oh, yeah, that's right. It's
8:52
Speaker 1: not what he said. It's that he said it. The
8:54
Speaker 1: technicality of it. Oh, this is prejudicial. Don't say this
8:59
Speaker 1: before they hear it. Shut up, okay? Enough is enough.
9:02
Speaker 1: I'm so tired of the loopholes and the bullshit and
9:05
Speaker 1: the nonsense from these lawyers. Your client is guilty, okay?
9:10
Speaker 1: The whole world knows it. It is your job to
9:14
Speaker 1: bring up evidence to show us that she is not guilty.
9:17
Speaker 1: And if you cannot do that, sir, your client is
9:20
Speaker 1: going to prison for the rest of her life. Maxwell's
9:30
Speaker 1: attorneys wrote, these types of comments, which serve no compelling
9:33
Speaker 1: law enforcement or investigatory purpose are prohibited by the local
9:38
Speaker 1: rules of this district. Again, the local rules. Federal prosecutors
9:44
Speaker 1: hadn't responded to the defense filing as of Wednesday morning.
9:47
Speaker 1: You know what I hope they respond with? Here's how
9:50
Speaker 1: I hope they respond. First, they should arrest Sarah Kellen
9:52
Speaker 1: Vickers in response. Bring her in, and then they should
9:56
Speaker 1: drop a superseded indictment on Ghislaine Maxwell and add some
10:01
Speaker 1: RICO charges. That's how the government should respond to stuff
10:04
Speaker 1: like this. Because you know what? They love to do
10:08
Speaker 1: that kind of thing to the average folk, right? They
10:10
Speaker 1: love to really pile on to the average folk. But
10:14
Speaker 1: when it comes to people like Ghislaine Maxwell, they're a
10:17
Speaker 1: little more tentative, aren't they? That shit needs to end.
10:21
Speaker 1: Alison Moe, Audrey Strauss, and the rest of the prosecution
10:25
Speaker 1: need to break out the big guns, smack everybody in
10:28
Speaker 1: the face with Rico, and we need to move on
10:31
Speaker 1: and get to prosecutions. Maxwell has pleaded not guilty to
10:39
Speaker 1: several charges, including enticing a minor to travel to engage
10:42
Speaker 1: in illegal sex acts, conspiracy to entice a minor to
10:45
Speaker 1: travel to engage in illegal sex acts, transporting a minor
10:49
Speaker 1: with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, conspiracy
10:52
Speaker 1: to transport a minor with the intent to engage in
10:55
Speaker 1: criminal sexual activity, and two counts of perjury. I think
10:59
Speaker 1: that there's just enough room in there for racketeering charges
11:03
Speaker 1: as well. Can't wait to see that on the page.
11:07
Speaker 1: Her lawyers have said in private court filings that she
11:10
Speaker 1: vigorously denies the charges and tends to fight them as
11:13
Speaker 1: the end is entitled to the presumption of innocence. Yeah,
11:17
Speaker 1: as far as the court goes, you're entitled to the
11:19
Speaker 1: presumption of innocence. But for the rest of us who
11:22
Speaker 1: have followed the case, for those of us who understand
11:25
Speaker 1: what you have been up to and the moves you
11:27
Speaker 1: have been making behind the scenes, well, that ship has sailed.
11:31
Speaker 1: The second you abused children and the second that multitudes
11:35
Speaker 1: of them came out and said that you were an abuser,
11:39
Speaker 1: your presumption of innocence, well, I think that's gone by
11:42
Speaker 1: the wayside, okay? There's no gray area here. This isn't
11:46
Speaker 1: a he said, she said case. This isn't one person
11:50
Speaker 1: coming forward looking for a big payday. Hundreds of girls, folks,
11:56
Speaker 1: and that's not hyperbole. Hundreds of girls were abused by
11:59
Speaker 1: these people, maybe thousands. So forgive me if I don't
12:05
Speaker 1: want to give your disgusting client the presumption of innocence
12:10
Speaker 1: at this point, okay? The onus is on you to
12:13
Speaker 1: provide evidence to lead us in that direction. Because as
12:16
Speaker 1: of now, all of the evidence lead us to the
12:19
Speaker 1: point of her being as guilty as guilty can be.
12:25
Speaker 1: Prosecutors say Maxwell and Epstein groomed girls for participation in
12:29
Speaker 1: sexually abusive behavior by building a rapport with them through
12:32
Speaker 1: shopping trips, taking them to the movies, and spending time
12:35
Speaker 1: with them. As the ties strengthened, Maxwell would introduce sexualized behavior,
12:40
Speaker 1: ultimately leading to Epstein abusing the girls, sometimes with Maxwell's
12:44
Speaker 1: participation or presence, prosecutors allege. And not just prosecutors, folks, okay? Again,
12:50
Speaker 1: it's not like they have just some, uh, kind of,
12:53
Speaker 1: a little bit of evidence, right? There is tons and
12:57
Speaker 1: tons of evidence, as well as eyewitness testimony. This is
13:02
Speaker 1: what you call having the goods in a courtroom. This
13:06
Speaker 1: is ammunition. And when the trial starts and the prosecution
13:11
Speaker 1: begins to drop bombs like they already did in the
13:14
Speaker 1: hearing about her having a spouse, et cetera, et cetera.
13:17
Speaker 1: Once they start dropping those kind of bombs, I think
13:19
Speaker 1: things will come into perspective and the picture will be
13:22
Speaker 1: a lot more clear for those who have not been
13:24
Speaker 1: following this case like we have about how guilty and
13:28
Speaker 1: how much Ghislaine Maxwell was involved with this. Authorities allege
13:34
Speaker 1: that girls were sexually assaulted in Epstein's Manhattan residence, in
13:37
Speaker 1: his home in Palm Beach, Florida, and at a sprawling
13:40
Speaker 1: ranch in New Mexico. The indictment alleges Maxwell played a
13:44
Speaker 1: role in the sexual abuse and exploitation of multiple minor
13:48
Speaker 1: girls by Jeffrey Epstein, specifically three girls who were allegedly
13:52
Speaker 1: abused in the 1990s. And again, we know it's many
13:56
Speaker 1: more than that. You don't have to listen to the media, okay?
14:00
Speaker 1: Go directly and hear what the survivors have said. Look
14:03
Speaker 1: up their stories. Look at what they went through, their
14:05
Speaker 1: personal experiences with these people. And then you come to
14:10
Speaker 1: your own conclusions. Maxwell has repeatedly denied wrongdoing and called
14:16
Speaker 1: some of the claims against her absolute rubbish. Well, I
14:20
Speaker 1: think her whole lifestyle is rubbish. I think the way
14:22
Speaker 1: she conducts herself is rubbish. I think her face is rubbish.
14:25
Speaker 1: And I think everything about her is rubbish, all right?
14:29
Speaker 1: Or as we would say in America, straight garbage trash.
14:32
Speaker 1: That's what she is, straight trash. I don't care about
14:35
Speaker 1: her Oxford education. I don't care about the way she
14:39
Speaker 1: moved among the rest of the so-called elites. This is
14:42
Speaker 1: a disgusting, depraved predator, according to all of her survivors. Epstein,
14:53
Speaker 1: who counted U.S. presidents, British royalty, Hollywood figures, and stars
14:58
Speaker 1: of academia among a set of powerful friends, died in
15:01
Speaker 1: federal custody last year while awaiting trial on federal sex
15:05
Speaker 1: trafficking charges. His death has been ruled a suicide. Maxwell
15:11
Speaker 1: was recently denied bail, and her trial is tentatively set
15:15
Speaker 1: for July 12, 2021. Well, a little bit of news
15:21
Speaker 1: about that. I have my accommodations already set up in
15:24
Speaker 1: New York, my travel plan already in place, and I
15:29
Speaker 1: plan on being in New York for, at the very least,
15:34
Speaker 1: the 10th of July through at least August 10th or so.
15:39
Speaker 1: So for about a month, I plan on being in
15:41
Speaker 1: New York and following the trial once it starts, either
15:45
Speaker 1: in the courtroom if I can get in there, if not,
15:48
Speaker 1: outside of the courtroom. And all the way through to
15:52
Speaker 1: the very end. Because I'll tell you what. I want
15:56
Speaker 1: to see this woman put in prison for the rest
16:00
Speaker 1: of her life. I want to see her break down
16:03
Speaker 1: in tears when she's sentenced to 50 years or whatever
16:06
Speaker 1: the hell she's going to get. And I want to
16:09
Speaker 1: see some justice for these survivors for once. Because folks...
16:18
Speaker 1: Where we're at right now, the point we're at right now,
16:21
Speaker 1: has literally been decades in the making. All we need
16:26
Speaker 1: now is a great ending. If you'd like to contact me,
16:31
Speaker 1: you can do that at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I

16:46
Speaker 1: So tonight, our episode, we're going to talk about Ghislaine
16:51
Speaker 1: Maxwell and her new ask. Her team is asking that
16:56
Speaker 1: the witnesses in her case, this criminal case, are gagged now.
17:01
Speaker 1: She doesn't want them to be able to talk about
17:04
Speaker 1: anything that has to do with the case. While at
17:06
Speaker 1: the same time, Ghislaine Maxwell is asking for permission... to
17:12
Speaker 1: identify any of the survivors who have already come forward. Now,
17:17
Speaker 1: Judge Nathan has already shown that she doesn't want to
17:21
Speaker 1: give out a gag order in this case. At least
17:24
Speaker 1: it seems that way. So I would think that moving
17:28
Speaker 1: forward here, that this is going to be a big
17:30
Speaker 1: fat no from Judge Nathan as well. But we'll have
17:34
Speaker 1: to see what she says. This article today that we're
17:38
Speaker 1: going to read is from the Daily Mail. The headline
17:41
Speaker 1: is exclusive. Ghislaine Maxwell ambushes prosecutors by asking for a
17:46
Speaker 1: gag order on witnesses in her criminal trial, but wants
17:50
Speaker 1: permission to identify any alleged survivors who have already come forward.
17:56
Speaker 1: The author of this article is Josh Boswell. Ghislaine Maxwell
18:03
Speaker 1: ambushed prosecutors by asking for a gag order on witnesses
18:06
Speaker 1: in her criminal trial court documents seen by DailyMail.com claim.
18:11
Speaker 1: And this is, look, these are the kind of tactics
18:14
Speaker 1: that we should expect out of Ghislaine Maxwell's people. They're
18:18
Speaker 1: high profile lawyers. They cost a lot of money and
18:21
Speaker 1: they're going to do whatever they possibly can do to
18:25
Speaker 1: try and tip the table in their favor. I don't
18:31
Speaker 1: think they have anything to go on here though. I
18:33
Speaker 1: don't think that they have a merit-based argument here. And
18:37
Speaker 1: I think it's more of just throwing shit against the wall,
18:40
Speaker 1: hoping something sticks. Maxwell's lawyers filed an affidavit in her
18:46
Speaker 1: child sex trafficking case on Monday, asking a New York
18:49
Speaker 1: judge to prevent prosecution witnesses from publishing information about the
18:53
Speaker 1: case online. Well, look, another reason that they're saying this
19:00
Speaker 1: is because there's going to be some damning evidence that
19:03
Speaker 1: is produced in Discovery. And they're trying to get ahead
19:06
Speaker 1: of that right now and get Judge Nathan to jump
19:09
Speaker 1: on board and gag it now so they don't have
19:11
Speaker 1: to worry about putting out those fires when the trial starts.
19:16
Speaker 1: Because it's going to be some damning stuff. They're saying photographs,
19:22
Speaker 1: some video, etc., etc. So you could see why they're
19:26
Speaker 1: in scramble mode and why they filed this affidavit right
19:29
Speaker 1: away today. But again, I really don't think that Judge
19:33
Speaker 1: Nathan is going to... give in to their request here.
19:39
Speaker 1: Prosecutors scrambled to file a letter... to Judge Allison Nathan
19:42
Speaker 1: in response... claiming they had been negotiating... with Jeffrey Epstein's
19:45
Speaker 1: alleged madam's legal team... as recently as 6 p.m. last night... Well,
19:40
Speaker 1: the prosecution should not be surprised by anything, okay? They
19:42
Speaker 1: have to be ready to go on their toes all
19:43
Speaker 1: the time, and they have to be ready to be
19:44
Speaker 1: on the offensive. You cannot go on the defense against
19:46
Speaker 1: people like this. You have to take the center of
20:07
Speaker 1: the ring, bite down on your mouthpiece, and start throwing bombs.
20:15
Speaker 1: The British socialite, co-conspirator, general scuzzbag, child abuser, attorney wrote
20:21
Speaker 1: to Judge Nathan asking her to keep discovery materials from
20:24
Speaker 1: being published but wanted permission to identify witnesses and Maxwell's
20:29
Speaker 1: alleged survivors who have already come forward in the case.
20:33
Speaker 1: See what's going on here? They're trying to do an
20:35
Speaker 1: end around. So what they'll do is they'll try and
20:38
Speaker 1: get this gag order on the witnesses while at the
20:41
Speaker 1: same time trying to pony it up and make it
20:44
Speaker 1: so that they can out whoever they want. And it's
20:47
Speaker 1: all part of their strategy. They're going to try and muckrake.
20:50
Speaker 1: They're going to try and attack the girls' characters here.
20:54
Speaker 1: They're going to try and use the same strategy that
20:57
Speaker 1: old dirty-ass Dersh used when Epstein got the plea agreement
21:01
Speaker 1: the first time around. The thing that's different, though, this time,
21:04
Speaker 1: they're not going to be able to pull the old
21:06
Speaker 1: okey-doke on us because we're all paying attention. Maxwell, 58,
21:13
Speaker 1: currently faces trial over criminal child sex trafficking charges in
21:16
Speaker 1: New York, accused of procuring girls as young as 14
21:19
Speaker 1: for pedophile Epstein to abuse. She has pleaded not guilty
21:24
Speaker 1: and has denied any wrongdoing. Well, that's that's it then, folks.
21:28
Speaker 1: You know, Ghislaine Maxwell has denied any wrongdoing. So it's
21:32
Speaker 1: probably prudent for us to just move on with our
21:34
Speaker 1: lives and, you know, not ask her any more questions.
21:37
Speaker 1: In fact, maybe they should just release her from jail.
21:41
Speaker 1: What an absolute joke, okay? Nobody is, uh, nobody's feeling
21:47
Speaker 1: sorry for Ghislaine Maxwell right now. Nobody's feeling bad that
21:51
Speaker 1: she's in jail. Guess what? You abused these girls according
21:56
Speaker 1: to what they said, according to tons of them, and
21:59
Speaker 1: now you must pay the price. Maxwell's lawyer, Christian Everdell,
22:05
Speaker 1: a Harvard graduate, by the way, Wrote, the defense believes
22:08
Speaker 1: that potential government witnesses and their counsel should be subject
22:12
Speaker 1: to the same restrictions as the defense concerning appropriate use
22:16
Speaker 1: of the discovery materials. Namely, if these individuals are given
22:20
Speaker 1: access to discovery materials during trial preparation, they may not
22:25
Speaker 1: use those materials for any purpose other than preparing for
22:28
Speaker 1: trial in the criminal case. And may not post those
22:31
Speaker 1: materials on the internet, the affidavit said. And this is
22:35
Speaker 1: a shrewd move by them. You know, this is what
22:37
Speaker 1: you expect when you're paying big fazuls for lawyers. You
22:40
Speaker 1: expect them to do everything in their power to give
22:43
Speaker 1: you the upper hand. And that's what they're trying to
22:45
Speaker 1: do here. They're trying to get out in front of
22:47
Speaker 1: just how bad these files are going to be. The
22:54
Speaker 1: defense believes it should not be restricted from publicly disclosing
22:58
Speaker 1: or disseminating the identity of any alleged survivor or potential
23:02
Speaker 1: witnesses referenced in the discovery materials who have already identified
23:06
Speaker 1: themselves by speaking on the public record, the lawyer wrote.
23:10
Speaker 1: And look, I'm not a lawyer, right? And I don't
23:13
Speaker 1: really know one way or the other how that usually works,
23:16
Speaker 1: but I don't know what the issue is. if the
23:20
Speaker 1: survivors have already come forward, right? It's not like they're
23:23
Speaker 1: doxing them. I think what should happen is it should
23:26
Speaker 1: be a case-by-case basis. The survivors should be asked how
23:30
Speaker 1: they feel about having their name thrown out there. Look,
23:34
Speaker 1: at some point, at some point, we have to take
23:39
Speaker 1: a good look at what has occurred in this case,
23:42
Speaker 1: and we have to make sure that it does not
23:44
Speaker 1: happen this time around. Because... There is so much riding
23:50
Speaker 1: on this prosecution, folks. The affidavit said Maxwell's legal team
23:56
Speaker 1: had been negotiating with assistant U.S. attorneys Allison Moe, Alex Rossmiller,
24:01
Speaker 1: and Maureen Comey, the daughter of former FBI director James Comey.
24:06
Speaker 1: And the whole team so far has done a pretty
24:08
Speaker 1: good job. I'll even give Maureen Comey a bit of
24:11
Speaker 1: a nod for the job she's done so far, but
24:14
Speaker 1: I do not trust Maureen Comey as far as I
24:17
Speaker 1: could throw her. I am really sick of these generational
24:21
Speaker 1: type people having these positions of power. Okay? We're not
24:26
Speaker 1: aristocracy here in America. We don't have, you know, where
24:30
Speaker 1: you inherit your father's job or anything like that. Okay? So,
24:36
Speaker 1: I really just don't dig the nepotism. I don't dig
24:38
Speaker 1: it at all. It doesn't matter who it's involved with.
24:41
Speaker 1: I just don't like it, especially in the public sector.
24:47
Speaker 1: Audrey Strauss acting... Acting United States Attorney for the Southern
24:50
Speaker 1: District of New York shot back a one-paragraph letter to
24:53
Speaker 1: the judge asking for a day to respond to Maxwell's
24:58
Speaker 1: gagging request. And if they were caught off guard, shame
25:01
Speaker 1: on them. But this is exactly the response, right? You
25:05
Speaker 1: have to shoot off a little something-something to the judge
25:07
Speaker 1: in defense of what you have going on. And you
25:11
Speaker 1: have to persuade the judge not to go about and
25:14
Speaker 1: do what Maxwell's lawyers have asked. And I really think
25:19
Speaker 1: that Judge Nathan here is not going to acquiesce to
25:23
Speaker 1: this request, folks. I don't think she will, but who knows? Again,
25:27
Speaker 1: we will have to see. She said the two sides
25:31
Speaker 1: had been working through the weekend towards an agreement before
25:34
Speaker 1: the surprise filing by the defense. The U.S. Attorney's Office
25:41
Speaker 1: and Everdell did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
25:46
Speaker 1: Judge Nathan had already slapped down a request from Maxwell's
25:49
Speaker 1: lawyers to bar prosecutors from speaking to the media about
25:52
Speaker 1: the case. But the court But the court told the
25:59
Speaker 1: attorneys to tread carefully in interviews, writing it warns counsel
26:02
Speaker 1: and agents for the parties in counsel for potential witnesses
26:06
Speaker 1: that going forward it will not hesitate to take appropriate
26:09
Speaker 1: action in the face of violations of any relevant rules. Well,
26:15
Speaker 1: so she already made that ruling, right? So if rules
26:17
Speaker 1: have not been broken... And the prosecution or the lawyers
26:22
Speaker 1: for the survivors have not done anything that would make
26:26
Speaker 1: Judge Nathan look sideways at them. Why would they even
26:29
Speaker 1: bother with this other request? And, of course, it is
26:33
Speaker 1: just to muddy the waters. It is to make things
26:37
Speaker 1: murky and to get things moving in a direction where
26:40
Speaker 1: there's a bit of chaos. That's what they operate in. Chaos.
26:43
Speaker 1: That's what they're hoping for. The legal spat follows news
26:49
Speaker 1: that a bombshell cache of previously sealed documents in a
26:52
Speaker 1: civil case against Maxwell are set to be turned over
26:55
Speaker 1: to the public this week and are reportedly set to
26:58
Speaker 1: expose the details of her allegedly sordid sex life. And again,
27:04
Speaker 1: this request tells you everything you need to know about
27:07
Speaker 1: those documents that are about to be released. This dump
27:10
Speaker 1: is going to be pretty damning. And you see how
27:14
Speaker 1: her lawyers are trying to get in front of it here.
27:17
Speaker 1: And it is very apparent what they're doing. U.S. District
27:22
Speaker 1: Judge Loretta Preska unsealed the documents during a Thursday teleconference
27:26
Speaker 1: and gave Maxwell's defense team a week to file an appeal.
27:30
Speaker 1: The files come from a 2015 defamation lawsuit by Virginia Roberts,
27:34
Speaker 1: who accused Maxwell of lying and sexually abusing her as
27:38
Speaker 1: a teenager and pimping her out to rich and powerful men,
27:42
Speaker 1: including the Queen's son, Prince Andrew. Look, all of this
27:48
Speaker 1: stuff that we're hearing right now, all of this stuff
27:51
Speaker 1: that is coming out, the documents that are coming out
27:54
Speaker 1: in the defamation case, Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyers attempting to get
28:00
Speaker 1: everything gagged. It's obvious what's about to come down the pipe, folks.
28:05
Speaker 1: And this Thursday, Preska says that's when it's going to
28:09
Speaker 1: be released unless the second court of appeals jumps in.
28:12
Speaker 1: and speaks up about what they plan on doing, Presco
28:16
Speaker 1: wants this stuff to get moving in a forthright manner.
28:19
Speaker 1: And she wants to keep the documents coming out, according
28:22
Speaker 1: to her, in a rolling fashion. So we'll get one dump, then,
28:26
Speaker 1: I don't know, however long after, we get another dump,
28:29
Speaker 1: and they just keep rolling and rolling and rolling and
28:32
Speaker 1: rolling until all of the files that have been earmarked
28:34
Speaker 1: to be unsealed are finally unsealed and available for public consumption.
28:41
Speaker 1: There's going to be a lot of reading to do, folks,
28:44
Speaker 1: all right? I hope everybody has their reading glasses ready
28:47
Speaker 1: and a couple of jolt colas or a couple of
28:49
Speaker 1: bangs or whatever it is you drink for energy. We're
28:52
Speaker 1: going to need a lot of that because there is
28:53
Speaker 1: going to be tons to go over. And I plan on,
28:57
Speaker 1: once the documents drop, I plan on sequestering myself in
29:01
Speaker 1: the house and going through as much of them as
29:02
Speaker 1: I can until my eyes begin to bleed. So we
29:06
Speaker 1: got some interesting stuff coming this week, folks. Some stuff
29:08
Speaker 1: to look forward to as far as evidence in the case,
29:11
Speaker 1: context in the case, and maybe some revelations that we
29:14
Speaker 1: did not know about. I'm pretty interested to see just
29:20
Speaker 1: exactly what is in that treasure trove of documents, especially
29:26
Speaker 1: my interest is most certainly locked in at this point now.
29:33
Speaker 1: considering they're asking for this gag order right away in
29:36
Speaker 1: the beginning of the week when we know that Thursday
29:39
Speaker 1: is the the day that the documents are released. So
29:42
Speaker 1: you have to think, you have to believe that Ghislaine
29:46
Speaker 1: Maxwell's law team and Ghislaine Maxwell herself understand what is
29:52
Speaker 1: in those documents. They know how harmful they are going
29:56
Speaker 1: to be to Ghislaine Maxwell and others. And their only
29:59
Speaker 1: option is to make this move right here and try
30:05
Speaker 1: and make a preemptive strike to get it all gagged
30:09
Speaker 1: so that it is not spread around on the internet,
30:13
Speaker 1: on social media, and for the general public to consume.
30:16
Speaker 1: Because they understand, even as we speak, without these documents out,
30:22
Speaker 1: they have an untenable position. And they know that they're
30:26
Speaker 1: up against it. And they do not have many options.
30:33
Speaker 1: So expect to see more of this from Ghislaine Maxwell's
30:36
Speaker 1: law team. Expect to see them use every trick in
30:38
Speaker 1: the book, every tool that they have in their toolbox
30:41
Speaker 1: to try and do whatever they can to get Ghislaine
30:46
Speaker 1: Maxwell out of jail. Unfortunately for them, it won't be enough.

31:09
Speaker 1: of the links that pertain to this episode, you will
31:12
Speaker 1: be able to find in the description box. A quick
31:16
Speaker 1: update in the Ghislaine Maxwell and Virginia Roberts defamation case.
31:21
Speaker 1: Judge Preska has ruled that some of the documents in
31:25
Speaker 1: question will be released. Now we're going to update that
31:30
Speaker 1: a little bit more when more information comes in on that.
31:34
Speaker 1: This ruling just occurred in the last half hour or so.
31:38
Speaker 1: So we'll touch on that more tonight when we have
31:41
Speaker 1: more details. Now, also another ruling coming down and smacking
31:46
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell is what we're going to be talking about
31:49
Speaker 1: on today's show. And that ruling is that Judge Nathan
31:54
Speaker 1: has denied the request for the gag order. We discussed
31:58
Speaker 1: the gag order the past couple of days and how
32:00
Speaker 1: it was ridiculous and how I thought that Judge Nathan
32:03
Speaker 1: would do exactly what she did here. And well, here
32:06
Speaker 1: we are. Judge Nathan smacking down Ghislaine Maxwell and her
32:11
Speaker 1: ridiculous request for a gag order. Our article today is
32:16
Speaker 1: from CNBC. The headline is Judge Danai's gag order request
32:21
Speaker 1: by Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein sex crimes case. The
32:26
Speaker 1: author is Dan Mangan. A federal judge on Thursday rejected
32:32
Speaker 1: a request for a gag order sought by lawyers for
32:35
Speaker 1: British socialite child molester, child abuser, co-conspirator, general all-around scumbag,
32:42
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell, who is charged with helping the late investor,
32:46
Speaker 1: the late investor, pervert, sick bastard, pedophile, child abuser, money launderer,
32:52
Speaker 1: human trafficker, plenty of names we can lay on Jeffrey
32:56
Speaker 1: Epstein besides investor. But Judge Allison Nathan warned prosecutors, defense lawyers,
33:03
Speaker 1: and attorneys for Maxwell's accuser, and other witnesses that she
33:07
Speaker 1: would not hesitate to take appropriate action in the face
33:10
Speaker 1: of violations of any relevant rules about making public statements
33:15
Speaker 1: that could affect Maxwell's ability to receive a fair trial. Well,
33:20
Speaker 1: that's to be expected, right? Whenever you have a trial
33:23
Speaker 1: such as this that is so high profile and there
33:27
Speaker 1: is a lot of media interest, well, not legacy media,
33:31
Speaker 1: but our interest anyway, the alternative media, there is always
33:40
Speaker 1: fears that there's going to be a taint to the case,
33:43
Speaker 1: that people might talk, etc., etc., leaks, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
33:47
Speaker 1: So that's to be expected, the judge making that statement
33:51
Speaker 1: and letting all parties know that there are certain rules
33:54
Speaker 1: that must be followed. So She did not slap the
33:59
Speaker 1: gag order. She denies the gag order, but she lets
34:02
Speaker 1: them all know that there are certain rules that must
34:05
Speaker 1: be played by. So I can get down with that, right? Again,
34:08
Speaker 1: we live in a nation that should be governed by
34:11
Speaker 1: law and order, by rules, by a certain set of
34:15
Speaker 1: principles that happen in one of these court cases. What
34:18
Speaker 1: should never occur is this sort of thing being worked
34:22
Speaker 1: out in the dark. A plea agreement with Jeffrey Epstein
34:26
Speaker 1: and his co-conspirators being cooked up in the dark by
34:30
Speaker 1: a scummy, dirty, son of a bitch like Alan Dershowitz.
34:35
Speaker 1: That should never occur. Okay? This should all be done
34:39
Speaker 1: in a transparent manner, and it should all be done
34:42
Speaker 1: by the book. The court will ensure strict compliance with
34:49
Speaker 1: those rules and will ensure that the defendant's right to
34:51
Speaker 1: a fair trial will be safeguarded, Nathan wrote in a
34:54
Speaker 1: filing in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, where last week
34:57
Speaker 1: she ordered the 58-year-old Maxwell held without bail, calling her
35:02
Speaker 1: an extreme flight risk. And again, the court has a
35:05
Speaker 1: certain set of rules that they want followed. What they're
35:08
Speaker 1: trying to do is avoid any nonsense. They don't want
35:10
Speaker 1: a mistrial declared or any other sort of BS. They
35:15
Speaker 1: want to make sure that this trial goes off without
35:18
Speaker 1: a hitch and hopefully Maxwell ends up facing the justice
35:23
Speaker 1: and the full arm of the law. Maxwell's lawyers on
35:30
Speaker 1: Wednesday had asked Nathan to issue an order prohibiting prosecutors,
35:34
Speaker 1: FBI agents, and lawyers for witnesses from making statements about
35:38
Speaker 1: the case outside of the courtroom or in legal filings.
35:41
Speaker 1: That's absolutely ridiculous. So basically what her lawyers are trying
35:48
Speaker 1: to do is get the conversation to stop. They understand
35:53
Speaker 1: that that the survivors pulled an end around on these
35:57
Speaker 1: scumbags and went directly to the people themselves. They used
36:01
Speaker 1: social media as a tool and avoided the disgusting serpents
36:08
Speaker 1: in the legacy media and brought their message directly to you.
36:14
Speaker 1: And this is the result. You see what happens? When
36:18
Speaker 1: the people... have had enough? Do you see what happens
36:22
Speaker 1: when the people begin to exert pressure and begin to
36:25
Speaker 1: yell from the rooftops about these sick, disgusting child traffickers,
36:31
Speaker 1: child abusers, and pedophiles that have gone for so long
36:35
Speaker 1: without facing justice? Do you think any of this would
36:38
Speaker 1: have occurred if these survivors didn't so bravely step forward
36:42
Speaker 1: and then all of you step into the ranks behind
36:47
Speaker 1: them and amplify their voices, this would have never occurred.
36:53
Speaker 1: This is the people flexing their power on the government
36:57
Speaker 1: and forcing their hand, folks. And as long as we
37:02
Speaker 1: keep the pressure up and we let these people know
37:05
Speaker 1: that we are watching their every move, there is no
37:10
Speaker 1: way that justice will not be served in the case
37:13
Speaker 1: of Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell's lawyer said in their request that
37:22
Speaker 1: federal prosecutors and witnesses' attorneys have made and continue to
37:26
Speaker 1: make statements prejudicial to a fair trial for the defendant
37:31
Speaker 1: who has pleaded not guilty to sex crime and perjury charges. Boy,
37:35
Speaker 1: she's about to be pissed when we get these Prescott
37:38
Speaker 1: documents of her statement, her deposition about her sex life, etc., etc.,
37:44
Speaker 1: She is not going to be happy about that because
37:46
Speaker 1: now that that's coming out, you want to talk about
37:49
Speaker 1: fuel for the fire? You want to talk about articles
37:53
Speaker 1: being authored and dropped? You want to talk about fury? Oh,
37:58
Speaker 1: it's coming, folks. It is coming. Judge Preska just pulled
38:02
Speaker 1: back the curtain and shined the light into the room
38:06
Speaker 1: inhabited by all of these cockroaches. And oh, to watch
38:10
Speaker 1: them all scurry. It appears that given any opportunity, lawyers
38:15
Speaker 1: associated with the prosecution of this case will offer any
38:19
Speaker 1: opinion that damages Ms. Maxwell's opportunity for a fair trial,
38:23
Speaker 1: the filing said. That's such BS. Just the circumstantial evidence
38:30
Speaker 1: alone added to the witness testimony of the girls who
38:34
Speaker 1: were abused is plenty for the public, okay? We don't
38:42
Speaker 1: need to hear any statements from the lawyers or from
38:45
Speaker 1: anyone else at this point. The cat is out of
38:47
Speaker 1: the bag. What we know and what we have seen
38:49
Speaker 1: and what has been unearthed is enough for anybody to
38:53
Speaker 1: become sickened by what occurred and to demand that justice
39:00
Speaker 1: is leveled to all of these people, all of these
39:03
Speaker 1: so-called elite, all of these members of so-called polite society,
39:10
Speaker 1: But in her ruling Thursday, Nathan said that she firmly
39:19
Speaker 1: expects that counsel for all involved parties will exercise great
39:23
Speaker 1: care to ensure compliance with this court's local rules and
39:27
Speaker 1: the rules of professional responsibility. Again, I can get down
39:31
Speaker 1: with that. People should be professional. Now that we have
39:34
Speaker 1: reached the trial phase of this, I think that it
39:37
Speaker 1: would be a good strategy for the lawyers to focus
39:40
Speaker 1: on just the case. There's no need for them to
39:42
Speaker 1: make any public statements really at this point. Like I said,
39:46
Speaker 1: the cat is out of the bag. There are enough
39:49
Speaker 1: people covering this case now. There are enough independent content
39:53
Speaker 1: creators and independent journalists that have dug in, and they
39:57
Speaker 1: aren't going anywhere. They're going to continue to cover this
40:01
Speaker 1: case no matter what, and they're going to do it
40:04
Speaker 1: in a transparent manner. So the legal team for these
40:10
Speaker 1: girls has done their job. They have brought all of
40:13
Speaker 1: this to the forefront. They have brought all of this
40:17
Speaker 1: to light. And now, there is no way to stop
40:23
Speaker 1: what is coming. In light of this clear expectation, the
40:28
Speaker 1: court does not believe that further action is needed at
40:30
Speaker 1: this time to protect the defendant's rights to a fair
40:33
Speaker 1: trial by an impartial jury, Nathan wrote. And again, I
40:37
Speaker 1: don't know about you, but if I got called for
40:41
Speaker 1: jury duty for this case, she would have to really provide...
40:48
Speaker 1: serious evidence. I mean, like documented evidence video that she
40:52
Speaker 1: didn't do it at this point, considering all that we know.
40:57
Speaker 1: And if you think what we know is the extent
41:00
Speaker 1: of it, you are wrong. The federal government has piles
41:04
Speaker 1: of evidence in this case, piles of evidence, folks. So
41:09
Speaker 1: Judge Nathan left the door open for Maxwell's team to
41:12
Speaker 1: refile their request for a gag order if the prosecution
41:14
Speaker 1: and the lawyers for the accusers get out of line,
41:34
Speaker 1: and say something in public they shouldn't, etc., etc. Then
41:38
Speaker 1: Judge Nathan has left the door open for her to
41:41
Speaker 1: revisit this decision at a later date. Those lawyers had
41:45
Speaker 1: asked for the gag order on the same day that
41:47
Speaker 1: President Donald Trump, a former friend of Epstein, said at
41:51
Speaker 1: a White House press conference, I just wish her well,
41:54
Speaker 1: when asked about Maxwell's criminal case. Trump had socialized with
41:58
Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell years ago. Again, what a ridiculous statement.
42:03
Speaker 1: What a ridiculous statement. How about, I have no comment
42:08
Speaker 1: on a federal case at this time. I want to
42:10
Speaker 1: see it play out through the courts, but my sympathy
42:13
Speaker 1: and sorrows go out to the survivors. Would that have
42:15
Speaker 1: been so hard? But no. I just wish her well.
42:22
Speaker 1: If you haven't heard my full statements on that, you
42:24
Speaker 1: can go back and check a few episodes ago. And
42:27
Speaker 1: I had a few things to say about Donald Trump's statements.
42:35
Speaker 1: A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern
42:37
Speaker 1: District of New York, which is prosecuting Maxwell, declined to
42:41
Speaker 1: comment on the gag order request. Again, they know what's
42:44
Speaker 1: up now. The prosecution has their ducks in a row.
42:47
Speaker 1: They're firing on all cylinders right now, it looks like, folks.
42:51
Speaker 1: And it most certainly looks like to me that we
42:53
Speaker 1: have other indictments in the pipeline, probably sealed right now,
42:57
Speaker 1: grand jury indictments that will be released or acted upon
43:02
Speaker 1: in the very near future. A spokesman for the law
43:06
Speaker 1: firm of the attorneys David Boies and Sigrid McCauley, who
43:10
Speaker 1: represents an accuser in Maxwell's case, did not respond to
43:13
Speaker 1: a request for comment. And again, it would be prudent
43:16
Speaker 1: for them not to comment at this point. Take a
43:19
Speaker 1: step back, prosecute your case, charge hard, keep digging for evidence,
43:24
Speaker 1: and let the other people who are involved now, content creators, etc., etc.,
43:30
Speaker 1: carry the torch. Because we're protected under the First Amendment.
43:36
Speaker 1: We have a lot of ability to criticize and to
43:40
Speaker 1: give opinions and to cover this case. So they really
43:45
Speaker 1: have no tool to shut us up, that's for sure.
43:49
Speaker 1: But when it comes to the prosecution and the team
43:52
Speaker 1: for the survivors, there are certain things that Maxwell's team
43:57
Speaker 1: could do to try and quiet them down. And obviously
44:00
Speaker 1: this gag order was a big tool in their arsenal.
44:03
Speaker 1: so it's nice to see that Judge Nathan smacked it
44:06
Speaker 1: around and launched it out of the park. Boys and
44:12
Speaker 1: McCauley's recent public comments about Maxwell were cited in the filing,
44:16
Speaker 1: and a gag order would have applied to them if
44:18
Speaker 1: Nathan had granted it. Epstein, 66, died from what has
44:22
Speaker 1: officially been ruled a suicide, allegedly, by hanging last August
44:26
Speaker 1: in a federal jail where he was being held without
44:29
Speaker 1: bail on child sex trafficking charges related to his alleged
44:33
Speaker 1: abuse of dozens of underage girls. The case related to
44:37
Speaker 1: alleged conduct from 2002 through 2005 at Epstein's luxurious residences
44:43
Speaker 1: on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and in Palm Beach, Florida.
44:47
Speaker 1: Before his conviction on state sex crime charges in Florida
44:50
Speaker 1: in 2008, Epstein had been a friend of President Bill
44:53
Speaker 1: Clinton and also with Britain's Prince Andrew. Yeah, no doubt
44:57
Speaker 1: about it. I mean, I know that everybody's amplifying Trump's
45:01
Speaker 1: comments and they should be amplified, but don't think that
45:04
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton's getting a pass from me. Don't think that
45:07
Speaker 1: this is going to be one-way traffic, because as everybody
45:10
Speaker 1: knows who listens to this podcast, they can all get
45:13
Speaker 1: it from me. I eviscerate every single person who was
45:16
Speaker 1: involved in this case, from Trump on down to Bill Clinton.
45:20
Speaker 1: I do not care. Okay? Everybody who enabled this son
45:25
Speaker 1: of a bitch, everybody who hung out with this son
45:28
Speaker 1: of a bitch, and most certainly everybody who partook in
45:31
Speaker 1: the abuse of these girls... All of you need to
45:34
Speaker 1: be called out and all of you need to answer
45:37
Speaker 1: some serious questions. And when I say answer some questions,
45:40
Speaker 1: I don't mean through your media guy or some just
45:46
Speaker 1: absolutely ridiculous nonsense like, I wish her well. Hard questions,
45:54
Speaker 1: hard answers. One of Epstein's accusers has said that she
45:59
Speaker 1: had sex with Andrew at the direction of Maxwell. Andrew
46:02
Speaker 1: denies her claim. Maxwell, who has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing,
46:07
Speaker 1: is charged with helping Epstein in the mid-1990s recruit and
46:10
Speaker 1: groom underage girls, at least one as young as 14
46:13
Speaker 1: years old, so that he could sexually abuse them at
46:16
Speaker 1: his residences in New York, Palm Beach, and Santa Fe,
46:20
Speaker 1: New Mexico, as well as Maxwell's home in London. How
46:24
Speaker 1: is this not a RICO case yet, folks? We have
46:27
Speaker 1: girls being transported over state lines, over international boundaries. We
46:35
Speaker 1: have money laundering. We have payoffs to victims. We have
46:40
Speaker 1: threatening of victims. You look at NXIVM, Rico. You look
46:44
Speaker 1: at R. Kelly, Rico. But yet here we are in
46:47
Speaker 1: the Jeffrey Epstein case and still no Rico. It bothers me.
46:53
Speaker 1: She is also accused of lying under oath about her
46:56
Speaker 1: conduct and her knowledge of Epstein's conduct and depositions taken
46:59
Speaker 1: for a civil lawsuit involving an Epstein accuser. Now, remember,
47:03
Speaker 1: that's what I was just talking about. These are some
47:05
Speaker 1: of the files that are going to be released by
47:08
Speaker 1: Preska per her ruling today. Maxwell's lawyers, in their gag
47:13
Speaker 1: order request, cited comments after her July 2nd arrest in
47:16
Speaker 1: New Hampshire by acting SDNY U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss and
47:21
Speaker 1: FBI Special Agent William Sweeney at a press conference. Strauss
47:25
Speaker 1: at the press conference had said that Maxwell lied under
47:27
Speaker 1: oath because the truth, as alleged, was almost unspeakable. What
47:32
Speaker 1: is wrong with that? Obviously, Judge Nathan didn't see anything
47:35
Speaker 1: wrong with it either. It is the truth. It is
47:37
Speaker 1: the premise that the prosecution is operating under. The prosecution
47:42
Speaker 1: believes that you're guilty. The state believes that you're guilty.
47:46
Speaker 1: It's up to you to defend yourself there, Ghislaine. And
47:48
Speaker 1: trying to silence girls who have been silenced for far
47:51
Speaker 1: too long is not A good strategy. That alleged truth,
47:58
Speaker 1: Strauss went on to say, was that Maxwell enticed minor girls,
48:02
Speaker 1: got them to trust her, and then delivered them into
48:04
Speaker 1: the trap that she and Epstein had set for them.
48:07
Speaker 1: Think about how vile that is. That is coming from
48:09
Speaker 1: a prosecutor saying that, okay? She's mimicking what we have
48:13
Speaker 1: been saying for almost a year now here on this podcast,
48:16
Speaker 1: but it is significant when a prosecutor of Audrey Strauss's
48:20
Speaker 1: stature comes out and says those very same things. She
48:26
Speaker 1: pretended to be a woman they could trust, all the
48:28
Speaker 1: while she was setting them up to be sexually abused
48:31
Speaker 1: by Epstein and, in some cases, by Maxwell herself, prosecutors said.
48:36
Speaker 1: There's nothing wrong with those statements. That is exactly what
48:40
Speaker 1: she is being accused of, okay? Nice try, Cohen. Nice try, Everdahl.
48:45
Speaker 1: But that is not going to work. Maxwell's attorneys in
48:50
Speaker 1: their filing wrote, although Ms. Strauss sprinkled her comments with
48:53
Speaker 1: the phrase, as alleged, she presented certain of her statements
48:58
Speaker 1: as fact. Well, sorry, that's the way it certainly looks,
49:01
Speaker 1: and you can try and pick apart her statement, but
49:05
Speaker 1: the fact of the matter is, she said alleged. Point blank, period,
49:10
Speaker 1: game over. Sweeney, during the same press conference, called Maxwell
49:15
Speaker 1: one of the villains in this investigation and also compared
49:19
Speaker 1: her to a snake that slithered away to a gorgeous
49:21
Speaker 1: property in New Hampshire, Maxwell's lawyers noted. Well, did she
49:24
Speaker 1: or did she not? Is she or is she not
49:27
Speaker 1: a villain? So, again, technicalities and, oh, well, don't be mean.
49:33
Speaker 1: Shut up, okay? Maxwell has everything coming and her lawyers
49:37
Speaker 1: and Geraldo and anybody else who thinks that they're going
49:42
Speaker 1: to white knight her and come riding to her defense
49:45
Speaker 1: is about to get it with both barrels and get
49:49
Speaker 1: absolutely verbally eviscerated, okay? Thus, Mr. Sweeney offers the government,
49:58
Speaker 1: again flatly wrong, opinions about character and guilt while, at
50:02
Speaker 1: the same time, invoking a semi-biblical reference involving a snake
50:06
Speaker 1: slithering away to a garden in New Hampshire, the filing said. Uh, yeah,
50:11
Speaker 1: that's exactly what she did. She slithered away. The accuser's
50:15
Speaker 1: lawyer's boys, the filing noted in an ABC News interview
50:18
Speaker 1: after Maxwell was ordered detained without bail, had said,' Remember,
50:22
Speaker 1: these girls were abused twice.' once sexually years ago, and
50:26
Speaker 1: then a second time when Epstein and Maxwell and all
50:29
Speaker 1: their enablers began these vicious attacks on their credibility. And
50:33
Speaker 1: we're seeing that right now with douchey-ass Dershowitz coming out
50:38
Speaker 1: gunning for Maria Farmer. I'm going to have a lot
50:41
Speaker 1: more to say on that later on, and I'm going
50:44
Speaker 1: to have a lot to say about Alan Dershowitz. But
50:47
Speaker 1: the fact of the matter is this, folks. He cherry-picked
50:49
Speaker 1: a lot of her comments and used them out of context.
50:53
Speaker 1: Maria is not a hateful person. She is certainly not
50:56
Speaker 1: an anti-Semite. And a guy like Alan Dershowitz is flailing
51:01
Speaker 1: now for anything he can hold on to so he
51:03
Speaker 1: does not drown. And if he thinks coming out and
51:07
Speaker 1: attacking Maria Farmer as she battles for her life with
51:11
Speaker 1: this disgusting cancer that she's dealing with and that there
51:16
Speaker 1: is not going to be return fire his way, he
51:18
Speaker 1: is sorely mistaken. Because my guy... Alan Dershowitz, you douchey, dirty,
51:24
Speaker 1: son of a bitch. I don't care if you have
51:26
Speaker 1: your tighty-whities on or not. You are about to get it, sir.
51:33
Speaker 1: No question about it, Maxwell knows where a lot of
51:35
Speaker 1: the bodies are buried. If I was somebody who had
51:39
Speaker 1: participated in their sex trafficking, um, I would not be
51:43
Speaker 1: sleeping easily tonight, boys had said. The filing also noted
51:47
Speaker 1: that Boy's colleague Macaulay, in the same interview, said Ghislaine
51:51
Speaker 1: was really the central figure, so she worked hand-in-hand with
51:54
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein to be able to facilitate these crimes over
51:57
Speaker 1: the course of more than two decades, and she was
52:00
Speaker 1: the main person who assisted him and allowed him to
52:03
Speaker 1: be able to perpetrate so many crimes against young, females.
52:08
Speaker 1: All factual comments. Judge Nathan obviously agrees. You will not
52:12
Speaker 1: get the gag order. And to add to your misery,
52:16
Speaker 1: on top of all of that, Preska is also releasing
52:19
Speaker 1: the documents. So Alan Dershowitz, Glenn Dubin, Bill Richardson, Mr. Wexner,
52:31
Speaker 1: Marvin Minsky, all of you dudes are in for some
52:35
Speaker 1: rough nights. And if you think any of you are
52:38
Speaker 1: wiggling off of this hook, you have not been paying
52:41
Speaker 1: attention what is going on here on this podcast and
52:45
Speaker 1: around the alternative media world because all of you douchebags
52:51
Speaker 1: are on notice. The year 2020, that's the year the
