- 0:09Speaker 1: Inside the Birds is back.
- 0:13Speaker 2: What's up, everybody.
- 0:14Speaker 1: It's Jeff Mosher and Adam Kaplan and are inside the Birds.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Eagles Depth Chart.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Podcast series rolls on another day and we are still
- 0:24Speaker 1: in the defense and now we're looking at the interior
- 0:26Speaker 1: of the defensive line and Adam, there might be a
- 0:29Speaker 1: lot of depth question marks and overall question marks like
- 0:33Speaker 1: we talked about in a past podcast on both sides
- 0:36Speaker 1: and the lines, but inside interior d line for the Eagles,
- 0:40Speaker 1: not as many question marks, especially among the guys who
- 0:43Speaker 1: are going to play the most snaps now.
- 0:44Speaker 3: I mean Joemo's back, Fannie or his deal. Davis got
- 0:47Speaker 3: his extension coming off a really good season. Carter, he'll
- 0:50Speaker 3: get his extension. We had his shoulders taken care of,
- 0:54Speaker 3: which needed to happen. Ty Robinson's back. He needs to
- 0:57Speaker 3: have a good offseason. Let's see what he looks like
- 0:59Speaker 3: when the veterans are in. Barron Young has been a
- 1:02Speaker 3: I gotta tell you, I was thick about this other
- 1:03Speaker 3: day when I was like the Eagles defense, Look, I
- 1:09Speaker 3: know the raiders from the front office like they've had
- 1:12Speaker 3: a lot of change, But my god, what if you
- 1:16Speaker 3: either I understand like they were done with them. They
- 1:18Speaker 3: didn't want they don't want Barron Young. They was a
- 1:19Speaker 3: third rounder, like it. He didn't perform. But you can't
- 1:22Speaker 3: get a draft pick for the guy what. I don't
- 1:26Speaker 3: care if it's because whoever drafted, I can't. It's been
- 1:28Speaker 3: like three regimes ago. Raiders have so much change, right,
- 1:32Speaker 3: But you can't cut a third round pick after you're one.
- 1:35Speaker 3: You can't.
- 1:36Speaker 1: If you're not going to get something for that guy,
- 1:38Speaker 1: then you then you might as well say, listen, I
- 1:42Speaker 1: hired a coaching staff for a reason. I trust these
- 1:44Speaker 1: guys more than the past coaching staff. Like Chip Kelly
- 1:48Speaker 1: almost made almost he really tried to make the same
- 1:50Speaker 1: mistake also when he wanted to get rid of Brandon Graham.
- 1:53Speaker 1: But can you imagine if the Eagles had done that
- 1:56Speaker 1: just because he wouldn't fit the three four that ship.
- 1:58Speaker 1: I mean, my god, what a mist that would have been.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Trust your if you bring in new coaches, trust them.
- 2:03Speaker 3: I get it.
- 2:04Speaker 2: If you can pulling off a.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Guy for a good draft pick who you didn't draft
- 2:07Speaker 1: because you're trying to rebuild. But he was young enough
- 2:10Speaker 1: to your point where if you believed in your coaching
- 2:12Speaker 1: staff and you believed in the player could make some improvement,
- 2:15Speaker 1: then you might as well hang on to try to
- 2:17Speaker 1: improve them.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I don't. It's just it's odd. I mean they think
- 2:22Speaker 3: I just uh a sixth round pick, go ahead, seventh
- 2:24Speaker 3: round pick, fifth round pick, maybe third or fourth round.
- 2:27Speaker 3: You cannot be cutting that guy after a year one
- 2:29Speaker 3: let's you think especially third round. That's just that's the
- 2:31Speaker 3: bottom end of the start round and you're cutting him.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I don't give a crap. If if that new GM
- 2:36Speaker 3: didn't do it, Telesco, it was te LESCo and then
- 2:42Speaker 3: uh spy Tech, right, I think it was SPO. Telesco
- 2:45Speaker 3: only got one year the Charger, Yes, so it's just
- 2:48Speaker 3: kind of weird. But anyway, now that that was a
- 2:50Speaker 3: really good way for claim man, he's been a really
- 2:52Speaker 3: good storage development.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, my gosh.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Even Davion Taylor got two years from the Eagles right
- 2:57Speaker 1: before before.
- 2:58Speaker 3: How how is just he doesn't I know the'se told
- 3:05Speaker 3: people like he's tall coaches over the years as we've heard, no,
- 3:09Speaker 3: we're not cutting them after one year, like they're there.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I remember when there were coaches in uh with with
- 3:16Speaker 3: Donald Pumpher, he had a terrible uh off rookie uh
- 3:20Speaker 3: training camp. He was he looked. Sometimes when you draft
- 3:23Speaker 3: a player, you go, oh, no, he's not what we thought, right.
- 3:26Speaker 3: I was just saying, he's small, but he plays small,
- 3:29Speaker 3: unlike Sprowls, whose small but he plays big. Mm hmm.
- 3:32Speaker 3: You know sometimes you just know it, you know, I
- 3:34Speaker 3: just you just know that, you know this is bad
- 3:37Speaker 3: what we're seeing, but you got to give the guy
- 3:39Speaker 3: a chance. That was just my point. There's a reason
- 3:42Speaker 3: why some teams don't win, and we just gave you
- 3:45Speaker 3: part of the interest of the test because they don't
- 3:46Speaker 3: understand how you have to give players time. It's like
- 3:49Speaker 3: with you R Bernard right who we're going to talk
- 3:51Speaker 3: about today. They took the press. They they surprisingly used them.
- 3:56Speaker 3: They drafted them, but they made sure they draft proofed it.
- 3:59Speaker 3: They made and they're also the international player. I think
- 4:02Speaker 3: he player. He's gonna be with Eagles no matter what
- 4:04Speaker 3: this season, like, they're gonna even if he looks like
- 4:06Speaker 3: he's totally ready, He's totally not ready to do anything.
- 4:10Speaker 3: He's got this great body that he needs to learn
- 4:12Speaker 3: how to play football. You got to give him time,
- 4:15Speaker 3: you know.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no, I agree, it's I mean, it took
- 4:19Speaker 1: my lot of a couple two years before he got
- 4:21Speaker 1: onto the field.
- 4:24Speaker 3: My lot of the back, Yes, but he had to
- 4:29Speaker 3: learn how to put on a helmet. He didn't understand football.
- 4:33Speaker 3: As we reported at the time, there was a real
- 4:35Speaker 3: issue with him and being aggressive. He didn't understand, like,
- 4:38Speaker 3: you're you're allowed to club the guy, You're allowed you're
- 4:40Speaker 3: allowed to do like he didn't understand yep, like he
- 4:43Speaker 3: would he would like he knock a guy down and
- 4:45Speaker 3: apologized him. No, dude, keep playing for what he doing, right,
- 4:47Speaker 3: he picked the guy up.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm interested to see how much preseason snaps Warbernard
- 4:53Speaker 1: plays because if you don't know what you're doing out there,
- 4:56Speaker 1: you're gonna get hurt.
- 4:57Speaker 2: And you know, again, i'd have to go back.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I'll go back and check how many preseason snaps that
- 5:03Speaker 1: my Latta played his first year.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I don't think he was as many, but it might
- 5:06Speaker 2: have been. Who knows. But at least you know he
- 5:08Speaker 2: had Staltlin for a while.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I don't know, we'll see because like again, you don't
- 5:12Speaker 1: know what you're doing, you're gonna get hurt.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It doesn't matter how.
- 5:14Speaker 3: How, but he does have Clint Hurt, who is top
- 5:18Speaker 3: three defensive line coach. He's just phenomenal former defense coordinator.
- 5:22Speaker 3: God knows what he's doing. I mean, he he Now
- 5:25Speaker 3: he's got a challenge on his hands. Not only is
- 5:26Speaker 3: they have Bernard, but he's got to get Ty Robinson going.
- 5:30Speaker 3: You've got to get he's got to get him going.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I remember Greg self saw Robinson's preseason tape. He said, boys,
- 5:35Speaker 3: he raw. Yeah, Like I know, Greg and a lot
- 5:37Speaker 3: of people like Robinson's tape from Nebraska, but you know
- 5:41Speaker 3: that's college tape. That's triple A. This is the majors. Yeah,
- 5:45Speaker 3: you gotta progress and hand usage is Mike Zimmer told
- 5:47Speaker 3: me one time, and uh, I remember Paul gone through
- 5:51Speaker 3: telling me that absolutely true. If you don't if you
- 5:54Speaker 3: don't have the right technique, you're not getting in the game.
- 5:56Speaker 3: He doesn't care what what round you. He didn't care.
- 5:58Speaker 3: There was like, I don't care. It's the first trump
- 6:00Speaker 3: He's not. If you don't play our way, you're not
- 6:02Speaker 3: playing right. And you know who decordinator is, and you
- 6:05Speaker 3: know who the D line coaches is. They ain't taken that.
- 6:07Speaker 3: So he's got to make a big jump. He's got
- 6:09Speaker 3: to make a big jump.
- 6:10Speaker 1: There were guys who I remember talking to an AFC personnel,
- 6:13Speaker 1: a college personnel guy when they drafted him, and they
- 6:17Speaker 1: loved him.
- 6:17Speaker 2: He really thought Robert would be perfect for the defense.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yeah, and listen, he still might be like you said,
- 6:22Speaker 1: like you were just saying you can't hold year one.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I don't think Moro Jomo played very much year one
- 6:28Speaker 1: because there was just too much depth ahead of him.
- 6:30Speaker 2: And then same thing with Milton Williams. He will Williams
- 6:32Speaker 2: may have.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Played a little bit more, but the point is these
- 6:34Speaker 1: guys really really came into their own in year two
- 6:37Speaker 1: and then later year three. So uh so, So Robinson's
- 6:41Speaker 1: got some time and depending on what happens with a
- 6:45Speaker 1: Jomo right this year, you said he enters.
- 6:47Speaker 2: The last year of his deal. Yep, we'll see what
- 6:50Speaker 2: happens there.
- 6:50Speaker 1: He could be trying to go to the Milton Williams route,
- 6:53Speaker 1: and so far it's working well.
- 6:55Speaker 2: He had a really good third year and he could.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Have request he changed agencies and that might have something
- 7:00Speaker 3: to do with why hasn't got a new deal yet.
- 7:03Speaker 3: We have to see to see if he gets one
- 7:05Speaker 3: he goes. Really like him, He's been an incredible story
- 7:07Speaker 3: of development. So year one for him he only played
- 7:12Speaker 3: in eight games. He barely played, barely played. As a
- 7:16Speaker 3: matter of fact, you know, I said, like the the like.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Here's an example, right, he only played. He played more
- 7:23Speaker 3: than special teams. Just give an idea that he did
- 7:25Speaker 3: on defense. Okay, sixty eight five percentage only sixty eight
- 7:30Speaker 3: defensive snaps right right, only sixteen But percentage wise, well,
- 7:36Speaker 3: actually let me reverse that. Sixty eight He only played
- 7:41Speaker 3: sixty eight snaps on defense, thirteen percent on defense, sixteen
- 7:45Speaker 3: snaps on specials eight percent of the snaps. But the
- 7:49Speaker 3: bottom line is he barely played. You could have made
- 7:53Speaker 3: a case, well this guy seventh round are he barely played?
- 7:56Speaker 3: Do we need him? Right? If you're in the front office.
- 7:58Speaker 3: But you know what, you gotta give guys time to develop.
- 8:01Speaker 3: This guy was, as we said at the time, there
- 8:05Speaker 3: was zero reason he should have been a seventh round pick.
- 8:07Speaker 3: There was a maturity issue which was caught mostly total nonsense.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it wasn't that bad, I agree, No, No, it did.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Like they just I swear, these persons on guys find anything.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Yeah, they kind of look for reason SAI ding a
- 8:19Speaker 1: guy once they're not once you know, it's around a
- 8:21Speaker 1: Day three guy because you now your reputation. Are you
- 8:24Speaker 1: going to bang the table for a Day three guy?
- 8:25Speaker 1: Some people are uncomfortable with that.
- 8:27Speaker 3: And he only again, he only played in half the games,
- 8:29Speaker 3: barely played right. Second year, big jump, major jump. He
- 8:34Speaker 3: went from sixty eight snaps.
- 8:36Speaker 2: To three eighty eight amazing.
- 8:39Speaker 3: He made another jump neck last year seven and forty
- 8:41Speaker 3: snaps sixty six percent of snap so quality, starter, ideal length.
- 8:46Speaker 3: He's not a great run game guy. That's always going
- 8:48Speaker 3: to challenge for him. He's gotten better at it. Not great,
- 8:51Speaker 3: but he's a good football player. And this is yet
- 8:53Speaker 3: another story of why you gotta give guys time, and
- 8:57Speaker 3: it's it's why guys like John Schneider, Roseman and Less
- 9:01Speaker 3: Snead are great at what they do. They typically are
- 9:05Speaker 3: are and it's why some of these guys on the
- 9:07Speaker 3: rams you're like, cool, some of these guys on the
- 9:09Speaker 3: rams you're like, I can't believe this guy became a
- 9:10Speaker 3: player because they gave him time to develop.
- 9:12Speaker 2: That's yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:14Speaker 1: So allow me really quick to deviate from the because
- 9:19Speaker 1: I want to bring this up as it pertains the
- 9:20Speaker 1: defensive tackle, because you just said, yeah, gave a great
- 9:24Speaker 1: scouting reporter on a Joemo long arm, really tough pass rusher,
- 9:28Speaker 1: not as good of a run defender as Milton Williams was.
- 9:32Speaker 1: And so we talked about this on the Edge podcast.
- 9:35Speaker 1: The way they're getting a little lighter with the move
- 9:38Speaker 1: from uh Jalen Phillips to Grenard. Okay, so now you
- 9:41Speaker 1: got a little You don't have a great run defender
- 9:44Speaker 1: in the Joemo. You don't have a great run defender
- 9:46Speaker 1: in Grenard. You're a little light on the edges. And
- 9:49Speaker 1: run defense was an issue for the Eagles at times
- 9:51Speaker 1: last year, and it was perilous at times that Chicago game.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Everybody always Cowboys games. I mean, there were times that
- 9:58Speaker 1: Eagles run defense looked a And by the way, you're
- 10:01Speaker 1: now putting John Campbell in there for Nikobe Dean. Nikobe
- 10:05Speaker 1: Dean wasn't the biggest guy in the world, but he
- 10:07Speaker 1: was a smart run defender. John Campbell has more athleticism,
- 10:10Speaker 1: but he's got to learn. He learned playing that Downhill
- 10:13Speaker 1: game was still a work in progress progress for him.
- 10:17Speaker 1: So I think there's some fair concerns going into camp,
- 10:21Speaker 1: and you know how the roster are looking about the
- 10:24Speaker 1: run defense for this team. Yes, coaches don't care about
- 10:28Speaker 1: as long as you can figure out a way to
- 10:30Speaker 1: get him into third.
- 10:30Speaker 3: And one, they want it. They'll tell you.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Coaches always say we we want to control the run,
- 10:37Speaker 3: but we want to stop the pass, like that's that's
- 10:41Speaker 3: what they want, and it's not. It's not. It's a
- 10:43Speaker 3: total opposite of when I first started covering the league.
- 10:45Speaker 3: I mean, you don't want to stop the run. No,
- 10:46Speaker 3: that's not what we're saying. We don't control the run.
- 10:49Speaker 3: We're not worried about it. And Bill Pollon talked about
- 10:52Speaker 3: it over the years when they had a terrible year,
- 10:55Speaker 3: when they actually won the Super Bowl that year, So
- 10:57Speaker 3: Tony Dungee, he said, we're not gonna do more, We're
- 10:59Speaker 3: gonna less. We're gonna simplify everything and help our guys
- 11:02Speaker 3: just just play the right way right and turn around
- 11:05Speaker 3: their season. And they got to the super Bowl and won.
- 11:08Speaker 3: So going back to this thing, so we know who
- 11:12Speaker 3: the start the front free is, right, you got young
- 11:14Speaker 3: is the first guy off the bench. Ty Robinson will
- 11:16Speaker 3: see what like my only issue is backing up Jordan Davis.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I just don't know because Gay Haul is not that guy.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Gabe Hoole's got great length, but he's not a nose.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Take on Graham a forming of Atlanta Eagles brought him back,
- 11:33Speaker 3: who's also got good length, who was drafted by the
- 11:37Speaker 3: Way in the fifth round of twenty one. So this guy,
- 11:39Speaker 3: this guy's got some talent here. But I would worry
- 11:43Speaker 3: if if Jordan Davis got hurt. They're finding a true nose.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I used to criticize the Eagles for not having a
- 11:50Speaker 1: true nose back up to Jordan Davis, especially when Jordan
- 11:53Speaker 1: wasn't playing a lot of snaps. But then talking to
- 11:57Speaker 1: people and looking around the league at the trends, I
- 11:59Speaker 1: guess a lot of teams that run a five man
- 12:01Speaker 1: front or a threety four don't have in a backup
- 12:05Speaker 1: nose who's one dimensional like that, Because a lot of
- 12:07Speaker 1: teams have a nose that's already.
- 12:09Speaker 2: A kind of a one dimension.
- 12:10Speaker 1: You don't want to occupy two roster spots on guys
- 12:14Speaker 1: who really are are one trick kind of ponies to
- 12:18Speaker 1: be I don't mean disrespectful, but to call like that.
- 12:21Speaker 1: So a lot of teams will just and we've seen
- 12:23Speaker 1: the Eagles do this too. If they lose their nose,
- 12:25Speaker 1: they just play more of a typical four to three
- 12:28Speaker 1: or bring a linebacker down on the line of scrimmage
- 12:30Speaker 1: to get that fifth man instead of trying to find
- 12:33Speaker 1: another nose on the roster.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Yeah, and then Bernard to me, he's built like a
- 12:38Speaker 3: three technique. Oh yeah, five. I who the hell knows,
- 12:42Speaker 3: because he's ever played football before. And I'll be interesting
- 12:45Speaker 3: to see where they line him up. Yeah in training camp.
- 12:48Speaker 3: But yeah, did they really need another veteran?
- 12:55Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I mean, I think even even last year, gave Hall
- 13:00Speaker 1: played well. He really, I don't want to say he
- 13:03Speaker 1: did well.
- 13:03Speaker 3: He remember when he.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Played well enough to be on it.
- 13:07Speaker 3: He just he did. I remember us saying that, boy,
- 13:09Speaker 3: he really they had a numbers issue on defense, so
- 13:12Speaker 3: they they ran out like they they just didn't have
- 13:15Speaker 3: room for. But he certainly, he certainly warranted being there.
- 13:21Speaker 3: And as a matter of fact, he actually made it initially.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Then they cut him after week one, Right, I'm looking
- 13:26Speaker 3: at his transactions. Yeah, he actually did make it initially
- 13:31Speaker 3: and then they cut him. He was on the practice
- 13:32Speaker 3: squad that then they brought him back for a week.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Then then he went back to the prex squad for
- 13:37Speaker 3: the rest of the season. But remember we said with
- 13:39Speaker 3: him it's an energy thing. With him great, he is
- 13:43Speaker 3: the exact body you won for seven technique or even
- 13:47Speaker 3: a five like he's got a great laugh. Right, but
- 13:51Speaker 3: there was a reason why a guy who looks like
- 13:52Speaker 3: that didn't get drafted. It's the energy. It's bringing it
- 13:56Speaker 3: every game. Uh. In a scotta report from clubs, they
- 13:59Speaker 3: just had an issue with his energy, his commitment to
- 14:02Speaker 3: being great. Cameron Williams for instance, the egles uh tackle
- 14:06Speaker 3: they got from Texas, really great tape at Texas for
- 14:09Speaker 3: a season. There were issues with his commitment to being great,
- 14:13Speaker 3: like that was part of why he dropped to the
- 14:15Speaker 3: sixth And that stuff matters. Like if if you don't
- 14:18Speaker 3: think a guy's totally committed, either you're not going to
- 14:20Speaker 3: draft him. If he doesn't love football, or he doesn't
- 14:23Speaker 3: have the energy to be great, you're not gonna get
- 14:25Speaker 3: drafted where you probably should have gotten drafted because you
- 14:27Speaker 3: don't trust the player like you like him. You want
- 14:29Speaker 3: to have a man, Maybe we could reach them, but
- 14:31Speaker 3: we're not going to spend a high grade on the guy. Right.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I think to your point, the only
- 14:38Speaker 1: reason to bring in a veteran is if midway through
- 14:40Speaker 1: camp you don't think Ty Robinson has made the jump
- 14:45Speaker 1: that you were hoping to see, all right, and cave
- 14:48Speaker 1: Hall is just the same player. It may not be better,
- 14:50Speaker 1: and that may not be worse, then then you might
- 14:52Speaker 1: feel compelled to bring in a contavious Street type of
- 14:56Speaker 1: rotational defensive tackle who can fit your front and will
- 15:00Speaker 1: be like a million of them available. So I would
- 15:03Speaker 1: do that, But I'm thinking they're banking right now on
- 15:06Speaker 1: getting some more reps, reps for Robinson and seeing that.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and Graham, by the way, the guy.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Uh.
- 15:14Speaker 3: One of the big reasons why the Falcons cut him
- 15:18Speaker 3: is because he was spent three seasons on IR parts
- 15:23Speaker 3: of three seasons and they got you know, they got
- 15:26Speaker 3: that had enough, Like they're like, okay, we're done with this,
- 15:29Speaker 3: Like they just weren't willing to hang in there. So
- 15:32Speaker 3: he might he might be that he's technically invested veteran.
- 15:35Speaker 2: He might be that guy, right, Yeah.
- 15:38Speaker 3: You take on Graham? Yeah out of Texas. He was
- 15:39Speaker 3: a fifth round of twenty one yep, So yeah, he's
- 15:43Speaker 3: there's something there with him. What when we talked to
- 15:46Speaker 3: He'll be on my list for Greg when we have
- 15:48Speaker 3: him on during training camp. But if he remembers anything
- 15:51Speaker 3: about him, all right.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Everybody, just a quick break to remind you if you
- 15:54Speaker 1: haven't noticed sun's coming out, it's getting warmer, especially where
- 15:59Speaker 1: we are in the Northeast.
- 16:01Speaker 2: That reminds you that summer's right around the corner.
- 16:03Speaker 1: And with late spring and summer come a ton of activities.
- 16:07Speaker 2: I know, for me, and I'm sure just like everybody else.
- 16:10Speaker 1: You know, my kids play softball, I'm at tournaments every weekend,
- 16:14Speaker 1: and then there's gonna be barbecues. And I actually turn
- 16:17Speaker 1: fifty the big five oh this year, along with many
- 16:19Speaker 1: of my friends. So I know there's gonna be a
- 16:21Speaker 1: lot of fiftieth birthday parties. And look, I know that
- 16:25Speaker 1: at these parties, I'm gonna have a few drinks. I'm
- 16:27Speaker 1: gonna want to have fun with my friends. And now
- 16:30Speaker 1: that I'm fifty, we're going to be fifty. I know
- 16:34Speaker 1: that I just don't feel as great the next day,
- 16:36Speaker 1: even if I just have a few drinks the night before.
- 16:40Speaker 1: So I tried this new product called Cheers Restore. Okay,
- 16:45Speaker 1: it restores how you feel the next morning. You take
- 16:50Speaker 1: it after your last drink before bed. It works while
- 16:54Speaker 1: you sleep, and their claim to fame is that you
- 16:56Speaker 1: feel fifty percent better the next morning or or money back.
- 17:01Speaker 1: So basically, if you have seven or eight beers throughout
- 17:05Speaker 1: a barbecue, then the next day you may feel like
- 17:08Speaker 1: you only had three or four. So basically, Cheers Restore
- 17:12Speaker 1: helps you metabolize alcohol more efficiently and it supports overall
- 17:16Speaker 1: liver health. Most people think that when you drink, you
- 17:19Speaker 1: get dehydrated and that's why you don't feel great the
- 17:22Speaker 1: next day. The real issue is actually what happens in
- 17:26Speaker 1: your brain and liver while you're sleeping. So when the
- 17:28Speaker 1: alcohol leaves your system, your brain goes into this rebound
- 17:31Speaker 1: mode and that's what makes you feel bad. The DHM
- 17:34Speaker 1: and Cheers works while you sleep to smooth out that rebound,
- 17:38Speaker 1: and at the same time, the alcohol converts into a
- 17:41Speaker 1: toxic byproduct that your liver has to clear out the
- 17:44Speaker 1: seis steine and Cheers helps speed that up. It's backed
- 17:47Speaker 1: by doctors PhDs and over one thousand verified clinicians. They've
- 17:52Speaker 1: sold over fifty million doses and Cheers is also available
- 17:55Speaker 1: in thirty thousand retail locations that includes Target and Walgreens.
- 18:00Speaker 1: So take Cheers Restore after your last drink or before
- 18:03Speaker 1: going to bed and wake up feeling at least fifty
- 18:06Speaker 1: percent better, or your money back. For a limited time,
- 18:09Speaker 1: our listeners are getting twenty percent off their entire order

- 18:29Speaker 1: send them to you. Hey, Philly fans, game day is

- 19:19Speaker 1: service members, and healthcare pros. Cammed inn Apothecary, top quality cannabis,
- 19:24Speaker 1: great prices, and an experience made for Philly fans twenty
- 19:27Speaker 1: one and up. So they're solid top three, top four.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I think it's fairnest if you want to say top five,
- 19:36Speaker 1: three man rotation at you want to say it's the
- 19:39Speaker 1: best you could. I'm a little concerned that Jill and
- 19:42Speaker 1: Carter missed that time with the shoulder injury last year.
- 19:44Speaker 1: He went and had the procedures done, which was like
- 19:47Speaker 1: the injections the PRPs yep. I spoke to an orthopedi
- 19:53Speaker 1: sports orthopedist for Philly Voice to write a story about that,
- 19:56Speaker 1: and he said that, you know, there wasn't a ton
- 19:59Speaker 1: of empirical data that said that this makes you that
- 20:02Speaker 1: much better now. Carter said he felt a lot better
- 20:05Speaker 1: after it, and I'm sure he did. He also took
- 20:08Speaker 1: it wasn't having contact for three weeks.
- 20:10Speaker 2: I'm sure that helped.
- 20:11Speaker 1: But the orthopedic surgeon felt that usually this is the
- 20:15Speaker 1: precursor to the having an off season surgery, and to
- 20:18Speaker 1: our knowledge, Jillen Carter has not had any offseason surgery
- 20:22Speaker 1: on the shoulders. I know that there's some videos of
- 20:24Speaker 1: him working out trying to strengthen the shoulders and the
- 20:27Speaker 1: area around it, which is good. I just don't know
- 20:29Speaker 1: that that's gonna be the cure all because this stuff
- 20:32Speaker 1: has bothered him going back to Georgia. So I actually
- 20:36Speaker 1: was under the impression that he was finally gonna, you know,
- 20:38Speaker 1: get it taken care of him the offseason. But he's
- 20:40Speaker 1: taken cauring of it with weight training instead of anything else.
- 20:43Speaker 1: So we'll see how that happens if he's impeded by
- 20:47Speaker 1: his shoulders. You see, he's he's not the same player.
- 20:50Speaker 1: He's still very good, but he's not nearly as violent
- 20:53Speaker 1: and as menacing. And you can't call him the best
- 20:55Speaker 1: DT in the league if the shoulders aren't operating. Because
- 21:00Speaker 1: he was getting run on at times, and that Chicago
- 21:02Speaker 1: game was that was his last game before he went
- 21:04Speaker 1: and have the injections.
- 21:05Speaker 2: It was not pretty.
- 21:06Speaker 3: He was in pain. And remember, as we as we
- 21:09Speaker 3: pointed out when he was drafted, there was one real
- 21:11Speaker 3: issue with him other than the off the field stuff
- 21:14Speaker 3: was we didn't know which shoulder was. Every club red
- 21:17Speaker 3: flag one of the shoulders that said he'll be able
- 21:20Speaker 3: to have a long career, but he's gonna have recurring problems.
- 21:23Speaker 3: And I don't remember what it was, it shoulder labor.
- 21:25Speaker 3: I don't remember, but we were just told by multiple teams.
- 21:29Speaker 3: This is something that that has been noted. Every team shares.
- 21:32Speaker 3: They have the same medical information, not a secret, and
- 21:36Speaker 3: their goodagles are gonna have to either practice some not
- 21:39Speaker 3: a ton or when it flares up, you got to
- 21:41Speaker 3: back off. Yeah, so we'll we'll see how he handles it.
- 21:46Speaker 3: But like you said, if he can't play, it's bying
- 21:48Speaker 3: young and your hope is if if then Ty See,
- 21:52Speaker 3: this is where Ty Robinson's got to develop. He's the
- 21:54Speaker 3: first guy off the bench. Yeah, you're not playing three
- 21:57Speaker 3: D tackles one hundred percent of the steps. No team
- 21:59Speaker 3: does that. We're not offensive linemen where who don't come
- 22:01Speaker 3: out of the game like you're gonna have to. He's
- 22:05Speaker 3: gonna have to develop the self. It's a huge offseason
- 22:07Speaker 3: for him.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Yeah, the good news for him is he did well.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I don't want to make too much of it, just
- 22:11Speaker 1: like with the camera Williams thing. But he did play
- 22:13Speaker 1: in the season finale when the rest of the starters
- 22:16Speaker 1: and he had some good reps in there. It looked
- 22:17Speaker 1: like he forget who was who ell I guess he
- 22:20Speaker 1: was in there with with Young, right, and there were
- 22:23Speaker 1: some pretty good reps in there. So you saw some
- 22:25Speaker 1: development from from the beginning training camp till the end
- 22:28Speaker 1: of the year. And like you said, now it's now
- 22:30Speaker 1: it's about showing it on a day to day basis
- 22:32Speaker 1: and getting yourself into that rotation.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Yeah, that's it. I mean, so so there there's what
- 22:40Speaker 3: they have is what's called cost certainty. You kind of
- 22:43Speaker 3: know who you have. It's almost exactly the same as
- 22:45Speaker 3: last year. You just it's pretty it's actually the same
- 22:50Speaker 3: the top. I mean, it's Byron Young's the first guy
- 22:53Speaker 3: off the bench. Ty Robinson's got his back, he's got
- 22:56Speaker 3: to develop. Really, there's a big off season for him. Then.
- 23:00Speaker 3: I don't see how the hell they're keeping six guys.
- 23:02Speaker 3: I just don't. We're going to do the next week
- 23:07Speaker 3: or so, once we get through the rest of the
- 23:09Speaker 3: rest of this week are the positional We're going to
- 23:11Speaker 3: finish off inside back, our safety and corner. But we're
- 23:15Speaker 3: gonna have to do. I want to do it. This
- 23:17Speaker 3: has really got me thick on an early fifty three.
- 23:19Speaker 3: I cannot wait because we're not gonna exchange. I cannot
- 23:21Speaker 3: wait to hear what you have.
- 23:23Speaker 2: It's hard.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think I think anybody who understands
- 23:26Speaker 1: how the business goes and how the team looks at it,
- 23:29Speaker 1: knowing they're going to go so heavy, heavier than usual
- 23:32Speaker 1: quarterback and offensive line, like I'm looking at running back
- 23:34Speaker 1: and tight end thinking like you might have four total
- 23:38Speaker 1: of those guys and just get by with a bunch
- 23:39Speaker 1: of practice squad guys.
- 23:40Speaker 2: So we're veterans on the practice squad.
- 23:42Speaker 1: It's going to be it's gonna be really interesting, especially
- 23:44Speaker 1: when it gets to the secondary too.
- 23:46Speaker 2: So agreed, Yeah, that'll be fun.
- 23:49Speaker 3: All right.
- 23:49Speaker 2: That is a look at the inte You know.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Between the last two pods, we've done the entire defensive
- 23:54Speaker 1: front here. We'll not line back off ball linebackers. We'll
- 23:57Speaker 1: get to in the next one. But that is going
- 23:59Speaker 1: to do it for this inside look at the depth
- 24:02Speaker 1: chart on the interior defensive line of the Eagles.
- 24:05Speaker 2: That's going to do it for Inside the Birds.
